Auth smiles as Nana seems to appreciate the gifts he got her. A quiet laugh follows Nana's question about who should be getting who a gift.
uA: Not at all, Nana, don't worry about it. I made this for you because I felt like it was probably going to be a necessity for you. It's comfortable, right? I was a little worried about it... I couldn't test it myself. Auth's worries are relieved, at least partially, as Nana hugs him. The blade going into his back failing to do anything at all, Auth grins. He's very happy that it's effective. He cautiously hugs Nana back. uA: It's nothing to worry about, Nana, as I said. I hope it helps you live normally after this, that would be perfect. You deserve it, you've had a tough... Likely a tough... job, since the Sphere got there, and the Iti have been swarming. Auth is the one to blush, ever-so-slightly, as Nana awkwardly asks him if he'd like to get a coffee tomorrow. uA: Well... coffee isn't my thing, but I would definitely love to go and get something with you. It sounds like a plan, Nana. Auth smiles again, softly, apparently quite happy to be asked out like that. He waves goodbye as Nana heads off, and Auth goes to find a place to sleep. -------- Battle time, since no more time here!: Auth spawns on S15, and applies Autorevive through Valiance on Chloe. He's staying outside for this fight, since he can fly and he doesn't particularly want to destroy the house. -------------------- They say that there's no rest for the wicked, until they close their eyes for good.
As someone wicked, fundamentally, I disagree. One may always repent. I may have done terrible things in the past. That's why I help this coward now. |

==LOGISTICS==
Nezira swaps to Proximity Burst / Guiding Hand / Channel Magic / Shopping Spree. She also puts 1 skillpoint in MMP and one in SKI. No equipment changes, though. On the other hand, her trait and special undergo a few... Her special changes from Transcendent Analysis to Iterative Analysis! (Retaining the same fill condiitions.) Iterative Analysis: Select any foe on the map. Scan them X times and deal (4-4)*X Light damage to them with Luxapierce2 and Armorpierce2, where X is the number of times the SP cost was paid. (You may pay the SP cost of this special multiple times in one action.) Base SP Cost: 80; Base Charge Limit: 3 (so SP Cap: 240) -1 SP to Cast per 2 SPC. (Limit at 20 SPC.) +1 Charge Limit per 5 SPC. (Increases your SP Cap greatly; enough to hold another use!) +1 DMG and *pierce per 10 SPC. (*pierce = Luxapierce and Armorpierce.) +1 Free Scan at 15 SPC. (You may add one activation onto your count without paying the SP cost for it, as long as you've paid 3 or more activations.) Variable Scrutiny +1 at 7 and 16 SPC. (You may forego up to 1 scan or attack per level of Variable Scrutiny to add that many of the other effect. Non-trait effects that trigger off scans ignore this change and work off the original scan number.) Her trait changes to have all types of Analysis be half-effective on bosses, and Attack Analysis changes from (X*5)% to ((X/2)*5)%. ==CRAFTING== Nezira’s been feeling like completing her set of fortifications; with the impending house battle, it’s as good a time as any. Shield Sphere Nezira places the Sphere at S6 on the first floor of the House, to cover the Portal and two of its defending turrets. Crystalline Core Nezira places the Core at I6; a defensible position with relatively few enemies inbound (to let it build up Growth Points), but a perfect position to cover two entrance points at once in the future. ==RP== As the portal's activation nears, Nezira works frantically on her new defenses, only pausing to go downstairs to the workstation and clean up the remnants of some work on wands. In any moments of respite, she carefully examines the portal generator, looking over its technology. After the defenses are set up, she steels herself as the portal activates and the wave of Iti approaches. ==BATTLE== AFTER IRONGUTTA: Nezira spawns in at U15 and uses Channel Magic on Chloe, Status Cloning all her buffs to... Nezira herself! Seems Nez is going to be a non-spellslinger for a bit. She looks over to Chloe. "Remember, Chloe; we'll be here to protect you, if you need it. Though personally, I don't really think you'll need any protecting. Your brother could stand to have some more faith in his sister." -------------------- Thymium planning sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xSq...dit?usp=sharing

Before the battle, Irongutta's trait improves! (Finally).
Unstoppable Force Level 2 Irongutta spawns in at S15 and moves to S13, just inside the doorway. There's a plan being set up here. He then uses Fury on himself and Chloe through the powers of Shared Rage! He also gives Chloe some encouragement. "We may be outnumbered, but they don't 'ave guts like we do! Cut 'em down!" |

<ROUND ONE-HUNDRED AND FORTY-SEVEN>
...I don't think I need a fourth part of the Stattening. Let's just go and update in a calm, orderly, normal fashion. Hex attempts to explain himself to Lutea. She seems a little more understanding now that she knows about the magic... but she's still skeptical. LUTEA: O... LUTEA: ...Okay? LUTEA: I... don't think healing magic really works on trees that way. LUTEA: Plus, even if you're healing the trees with every jump, they'd probably still be cut or snapped by the blades of your skates... LUTEA: Just... stop stepping on them, alright? She lowers her broom, and returns to her biodome. LUTEA: ...It's also been a long day, and I need to get some sleep. Hex decides to attempt a Curaga cast on the trees anyway. It doesn't do much for their growth, but the damaged ground restores HP. Great! Daskter attempts to make a tank! Unfortunately, the build doesn't really work out- making something as complex (and as potentially powerful) as a tank would take more work than that... and also potentially more outside materials. In addition, it helps a lot if you provide stats for the tank, so that I don't need to spend a lot of time theorycrafting more entities. Really, providing a statblock or adding more work would be sufficient for creating the tank- creating statblocks is work! Then you could deploy it mid-battle, I guess. Anyway, he also levels up his strait, making it apply to allied summons! He also juices up his special a little, taking into account the trait change. Nidra creates a Trellis Guardian! This uses... uh, a vague amount of materials. The GM spends time rummaging through the inventory, eating 13 Greatwood Logs, 3 Silverwood Logs, 13 Psychoid Seeds, and let's also say a Deathcap Mushroom. It is unclear as to why it costed these materials. Venia's hat upgrades some turrets! It tosses 10 Silverwood Logs, 5 Phase Matter, 5 Megabark, and a Staff Only Sign towards the Tesla Turrets, upgrading them! The hat then applies a Killer Bow, a Harp Harasser, a Maraca Staff, an Ablaze Accordian, a Mic Scythe, and a Chairleg Trident to improve the Shadowcaster Turrets! The hat then tosses Chaos 300 credits, unlocking his T R U E F O R M. Which likely won't actually be too helpful, but hey. Chaos cocks a strangely non-thymecursed pistol, which he holds like an assault rifle somehow. CHAOS: le[t]'s ge[t] [t]his bread He then performs a magical girl transformation, suddenly veiling himself in cardboard armor. A quick can of spraypaint later, and he has transformed into the Dark Lord! Complete with a "new" moveset, too! Anyway, Hat then goes to request Advanced Summoning and Universal Understanding from Omo and Mari respectively. Venia then rotates for Super Soak. Mustache Girl breaks and enters. She lockpicks the door to Acacia's home, and invites her and the nearby group in. Map expanded! Is it worth pillaging, though? Or are you just going to pay it a visit? Pillaging it might not be great for Acacia's mental state when she gets back, just so you know. Emerald +1's his MMP and INT. Simeon +1's his MMP, STR, RES, and SPC. Am I allowed to feature two people within the boundaries of two horizontal lines? YES. Auth accepts Nana's offer for coffee. Nana's barely able to control her happiness, blushing uncontrollably. NANA: G-Great! NANA: I'll... see you... in the morning? Morning's good, right? NANA: And... since you're not a coffee drinker, I'll get you some... tea? Is tea fine? My sister makes her own teabags, and they make really nice tea... She quickly bows towards Auth, wishing him a good night's sleep before walking off towards her room, face still flush with green. Nezira does a surprising amount of stuff. First, she edits her skillpoints, going +1 MMP and SKI. Then she rotates her spell lineup, and edits her special into Iterative Analysis! I'll say that I don't entirely understand the second line of Variable Scrutiny's effect, so please expand on that when you read this, please. She then finishes up her fortifications, creating the Shield Sphere with a Metal Box charge, 10 Durasteel, 3 Silver Ingots, 4 Gold Ingots, and 5 Fresh Manabloom! She also crafts the Crystalline Core with a Crystalline Claw charge, 25 Cobblestone, 5 Temple Brick, 8 Greatwood Logs, and 1 Mantle Cluster. Some prices may have been increased a little. Irongutta's trait levels up! The formatting's changed a bit on it- take a look, and tell me if that's fine? <THE HOUSE, ROUND TWO> Your base is currently being besieged by a whole network of Netwyrm heads! There's five of them- two on the upper floor, and three on the lower floor! Take them out before they overwhelm your position with more Seekers! It'd also probably be worth carrying out assassinations on any exposed Vilebarons... like the one Chloe is next to. Anyway, expect more in the way of "conventional reinforcements" next round. And maybe a surprise or two; who knows? -------------------- |

Echoss: returning to a forum game near you.
This will be a retroactive RP post for before night fell, and then possibly be edited into me joining the battle next round. The night before, after the cataclysmic fight atop Scale Yggdrasil and the apparent death of Nia Khiones, a few golden butterflies flutter in through one of the windows, stalling and moving between corners as the party attempts to gather themselves emotionally. Though more important things were likely on their minds throughout the day, observant people may have noticed that not only did Echoss not return when the rollback happened, his butterflies seemed to disappear too. Though perhaps not entirely, any found would've appeared to be asleep, inactive. This has begun to change, obivously, as a few of them have come to the house. One of the butterflies follows Brutishace and Omorika up the stairs. One of the butterflies appears to be trying to find something, and then flies into the back of Hat Kid's head on accident. One of the butterflies attempts to follow Venia's party into the kitchen and gets lost, slamming into a wall and shattering into tiny light particles. The one that talked to Hat Kid has to take its place in communicating with them, causing Echoss to miss the entire conversation between Venia, Chloe and the others, not making it over till everyone's already left, leaving Echoss unable to talk with them and simply having to return the butterfly to the windowsill. The two remaining butterflies rest on the windowsill and return to a motionless state, until toast comes and pokes one of course. Echoss and Brutishace Meet: Echoss's butterfly flutters its way after Omorika and Brutishace as fast as it can, but with Echoss's current… navigational difficulties, the butterfly doesn't get there until after the necromancer has seen the librarian to bed. The butterfly settles down on a windowsill and begins attempting to transform out of its butterfly form into one of the mini Echoss holograms. This causes a bit of static and glitching, as before, which catches Brut's attention. Brutishace slightly raises his voice as he catches a glimpse of Echoss’s hologram. ”Who’s ther- ...Oh, hello. Who might you be?" Brutishace turns his head towards the hologram, slightly alarmed yet curious and hospitable. The holographic form glitches a bit, and a voice starts to come through, a bit too garbled and staticy to understand at first, but it gets clearer relatively quickly. "Sorry about that. Having some difficulties at the moment. Your name is… hm. I don't think I got around to learning your name previously, my apologies. I'm Echoss, I was previously a member of the party, and will be again in a few hours hopefully. I had some… connection interference when the apocalypse and subsequent rollback occurred." ”I’m Iawa Brutishace- glad to meet you, Echoss. I might have seen you somewhere, but my memory can’t be too reliable at this age. Did the rollback do any permanent damage or is this kind of interference you’re going through temporary?” "Temporary by all likelihood. I wouldn't have any of my butterflies up and running again at all if I had no chance, I think. I mostly came back to inform people that I should be returning soon, and to apologize for my disappearance. It seems I haven't reconnected well enough to actually find people yet though." ”Ah, well I’m glad you reached out to me. Should I help you spread the word about your return?” "I think perhaps it would be best to let people sleep at this point, I seem to have arrived much later than I hoped." Echoss pauses. "Though I do have two questions, first off were we successful in retrieving the second glyph? It has definitely been a few hours, but I do not know if that would have been sufficient time to accomplish our goal." Brutishace pauses himself, as if trying to remember something. ”...Yes, I believe we did. At significant cost, however- one of ours has lost function for the time being, essentially deceased until we can return her systems to life. She was mourned by many.” Brutishace droops his head in simultaneous respect towards Nia and sorrow at her death. Echoss goes quiet, and nods solemnly. The hologram glitches for a moment, sending off a small shower of golden sparks. "...Thank you Brutis, I believe that answered my second question as well. Hopefully I will be here properly before morning hits. Sleep well." ”Good night, Echoss. I hope your interference clears way swiftly. I’ll be glad to help you if you need it.” Brutishace proceeds towards the stairs to his own corner of the house. Echoss nods one last time, and his hologram transforms back into a butterfly. Which shatters instantly into particles of light with an unfinished muffled curse when it attempts to take off. Fortunately, no one's around to hear. Echoss and Hat Kid chat: Hat Kid sits around on the couch. Her plushie was right next to her, though she wasn’t aware that it was around. She starts thinking about stuff; mostly revolving around cookies. Chocolate chip, her favorite. She was getting hungry just thinking about it. However, it was most likely just a distraction to keep her from thinking too hard about her current condition… other than that, she was looking around the house. Some mud tracks, likely from that piggy Irongutta tamed earlier. Otherwise, the house seemed like it was pretty normal to her… save for the absence of people that were actually still around her. Hat Kid's lonesome musings are interrupted by a quiet fluttering of wings, followed by something small and fluttery running into the back of her head. She tries to locate the sound of fluttering, but to no avail. The butterfly would find that trying to land on Hat Kid’s head was impossible; her form glitches out for a brief moment, before the butterfly passes through. She seems confused at the fluttering. ”...?” The butterfly passes through her head, but is disrupted just enough by this sensation to lose its flight stability as it passes out the other side, passing through the top of Hat Kid's leg as it tries to veer off to the side. Towards the Hat Kid plushie, as there is a very soft thud, and then slightly garbled static, as if someone were trying to talk through a very bad radio connection. The voice sounds slightly familiar, though Hat Kid can't yet place its source. Hat Kid jumps out of her seat at the sound of static, standing atop the couch cushion and brandishing her umbrella around the place. To nobody’s surprise, whatever the umbrella collides with phases right through them. The familiar speech does not do much to calm her nerves, mostly because of the static… The static slowly clears up more and more, settling out to 'staticy radio' as opposed to 'garbled nonsense masked in lots of static'. Finally, Echoss's voice pierces through it, coming through to Hat Kid quite understandably, though 'clearly' would be an overstatement. "Hello? Did I get this working? If I'm actually saying things that make sense let me know please." Hat Kid quickly recognizes the voice, and puts her umbrella back on her back. Echoss? She couldn’t say for sure, especially since she hadn’t seen him in a while… or heard from him. ”...I-is that…?” "Oh thank goodness it's working." Hat Kid hears a slightly staticy sound, like glitching, and an annoyed groan. "Hmph, moving in projection form doesn't seem to work..." And then the voice shifts once more, to a tone of concern. "Hat Kid… Are you alright? I haven't been gone more than a few hours, have I?" Hat Kid looks out of a nearby window, at the stars in the sky. ”Um… I think it’s been, um… eight hours? I-I dunno! When did all those bottles show up?” There is a brief bit of static again. "I have no clue. Whatever was up with those bottles started interfering with my connection here, and then the rollback severed it completely. I've been running on my home Voidic timezone since then so it's been a few days for me." Hat Kid frowns. She sits back down on the couch. ”S-so the bottles hurt you, too?” "I made it to the space station with the rest of you. I think I was there for the fight with the Operator as well, though my connection was already wavering by then so I don't remember it very well. I'm okay, personally. At the very least doing better than you seem to be." Hat Kid nods. It becomes apparent that tears are welling up in her eyes. ”...I’m very lonely… I can’t see anyone, and I don’t know who’s here… I can’t play with my friends… I-I dunno what happened! I-I fell asleep after we beat that guy, and a minute later I was falling to the planet…” she says, as she curls into a ball on the couch. There's silence for a moment, and then she feels a tiny pat on her forehead, though it feels slightly fuzzy, as if it might not be all the way there. She suddenly realizes she can see a soft golden glow at about the spot where the voice/pat might have been coming from. "Alright… I… I don't know how much I'll be able to do. But when I get back all the way, I'll see if I can help at all." Hat Kid, clearly taken off-guard by the fact that she could actually somewhat see someone for once, nods enthusiastically. The pat was like a gentle breeze on her head, but it’s something. Through all this, It’s like all hope has been restored to her young spirit after a long time of not having any. "Do you need to talk about anything else? The Thymefield still has me mostly blocked right now, so I'm not going to be here in person for a few more hours of your time and keeping my butterflies directed is hard… but I can stay and talk with you for a little longer I think." Hat Kid thinks for a second, before stating, ”I’m hungry, is there any food in the kitchen?” "If there isn't, there will be soon. A number of the others are gathered in there. I don't know exactly what's going on, I think I may have crashed the butterfly I tried to send over there. I can go over and make sure someone brings you some food, though I'm afraid if I do so that'll likely be the last we talk tonight." ”Ah, it must be dinnertime! What’re they--” Hat Kid stops herself mid-sentence as she smells burrito stuff in the distance. She seems… indifferent, but what the heck, she was hungry. ”...Imma get some food!” She darts off to get a burrito for herself, and returns with a burrito. It’s crudely wrapped, and is missing some ingredients. She’s either a picky eater, or she forgot some ingredients. She sits back down, and digs in. There is a short chuckle from Echoss. He still hasn't moved an inch, so aside from his arms and face being kinda fuzzy from slight movements, Hat Kid can mostly see him now. "Well, I'm glad you're still alive. When I arrive… tomorrow I guess? Then I'll see if can help you at all." Hat Kid swallows her bite of burrito, and smiles. Adorableness +1. ”Yeah, see you tomorrow! And… thanks!” Once she downs her burrito, she looks at the now-clear Echoss hologram in front of her- ”Good night!” -and heads upstairs, to bed, clearly much happier now that she managed to see someone at long last. Toats meets Echoss: Toast, coming back from the crafting of her new weapon, stops when she notices something. A pair of golden butterflies, resting almost completely motionless on one of the windowsills. They are vaguely familiar to her, as if she had only seen them in passing- perhaps once or twice before. "That's… not normal. Did someone put these here?" She reaches out with a crystalline finger to prod one. The butterfly feels almost like it isn't there, her finger sinking into it a bit before it suddenly spazzes out, almost like it's glitching. The sorceress immediately pulls her hand away, inspecting her finger for any traces of corruption. There doesn't appear to be anything, but as she's checking the butterfly stops, coming into a flickering holographic form of Echoss, standing on the windowsill, slightly smaller than the butterfly originally was. Toast is firstly confused, and secondly puzzled. Confuzzled. She looks at the holographic Echoss with a hint of both curiosity and caution. "...Are you a fairy?" The tiny figure attempts to speak, only for static and garbled noise to come through instead. Echoss's brow furrows and he opens his mouth a few times, making basic vocalizations that gradually get more coherent until he can be understood, though admittedly still as if through a somewhat patchy radio connection. "No, it's Echoss. Mostly. The rollback severed my connection with the avatar I was using to help you all, and I haven't reestablished the connection I was using successfully yet." Toast briefly racks her brain, before remembering Echoss. He was the item mage, right? "Oh, Echoss! Welcome back(?)! We... didn't really meet before now so, um, this is a bit of an odd introduction. To be honest, I remember you being a bit larger. I'm guessing that's not on purpose?" The mini Echoss shakes his head, and begins to gesture with his arms a bit as he talks, only to lose form and the vocal message with it. The image quickly reforms, but with a very annoyed expression on its face. "No, the Thyme field's energy signature is perpetually shifting from my perspective, and thanks to a blip between the crash and my home timeframe, I'm a few days off the mark of where I need to be to actually do things in person. Even keeping the butterflies active is more taxing than I can manage at the moment." "...Huh. I'm far from being expert when it comes to this avatar stuff, but do you have any idea how you might be able to get back to your full capabilities?" "Hopefully soon. It shouldn't take longer than about a week on my end, and so long as I don't screw anything up, no more than a few hours on yours." "(Oh, time stuff. Nice.) Sounds pretty good." She frowns, as though suddenly aware of something she had forgotten. The reason for this was because she had become suddenly aware of something she had forgotten. "Oh, um. We haven't really met properly yet so… I'm Toast! Resident sorceress!" "Ah! Yes, that's true, I have not really introduced myself properly to most of the party just yet. I am Echoss, predominantly titled 'The Collector' though my role in the party seems to largely involve the opposite of that." "It's really cool to meet you, Echoss. Or as we say on Between: 'Yone Shren Masith!'" The moment she finishes the last syllable, a small flicker of flame appears in the air beside Toast's face, before vanishing. "...I'm still working on that greeting. Ideally something that sounds magical without being magical. Or without meaning 'air become fire'. More difficult than it sounds." Echoss chuckles, and smiles at toast "If you don't mind a little bit of appropriation, an old language by the name of Voidic Akarian has the phrase 'Ken Vont Alsbith', translating roughly to 'by the grace of destiny'. I believe it echoes the same sentiment." Suddenly the mini Echoss flickers, longer than for the previous times. When it regains form, the mini Echoss is smaller, and a lot more transparent with most of the shading on the image losing its form, making him appear almost a silhouette. "Ah… I apologize Miss Toast, I'm going to have to cut our conversation short, I'm expending a bit too much power with these connections tonight." "Oh, oh, of course! I get that. Lots of experience with energy resources as a spellcaster. I'll catch you... tomorrow, then I guess?" Echoss nods, though this causes his form to glitch slightly. "Hopefully and most likely, yes. And with me in full size and color no less. Sleep well." And with that Echoss's form flickers and spasms a bit, settling back into the shape of the butterfly it held before, albeit rather smaller. As Echoss leaves, Toast is left wondering if there are any other allies that she really should know about. This thought sticks in her mind as she heads upstairs to finally take a well-deserved rest. She misses the Echoss butterfly which she conversed with abruptly flickering again and soundlessly shattering into tiny motes of golden energy, and the not-quite-silent irritated mutterings of Echoss fading away from the form of the other as his other butterflies return to settle on the windowsill beside it, though perhaps that is for the best. And with that, the house truly and finally settled into quiet Also, Ire's gonna edit that one Echoss and Omorika RP bit that was supposed to be done a long time ago into the relevant post when he can, as we finished the RP bit. It can be found here: https://dtgforums.jcink.net/index.php?showt...indpost&p=16943 -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

The Tank Building
Daskter wants to build a tank... Ingredient List: Parts of the R4 wreck, AI Core, 2CPUs, 5Durasteel, 20 Titatium, 15 Circuit Boards, 75 Wirescrap, 8 Aurora Crystal, 2 Crystal Pens Seeing how he can build something extremely similar to a Light Tank MkVI with the current parts of the wreck. I start designing the main weaponry of the Tank, using a heavily modified Railfun is the basis of the idea. Grabbing some paper and pistol. I grab a tool box and start modifying a Railfun. The barrel is slightly shortened. An outsider will notice that the bullets are much smaller than their original, but the bullets are still fired at nearly the same sheer speed. The smaller rounds allow the cannon to be reloaded through an auto loader. Obviously we don't want to hand load the cannon if the Tank is going to be an AI Unit, that would be really annoying to load if so. Through torch sparks and hammer banging a couple of titanium plating disappear from the inventory to craft the the cannon with the auto loader. "The guns finished, pretty decent I say so myself." Daskter walks over to the R4 wreck. A massive sorting machine appears and starts sorting the pieces into 3 basic groups, electronics, soft metal and hard metal. In this case, Daskter will only be using the hard metal. The metal is melted in a giant industrial cauldron with 20 Titanium ingots. The turret is built similar to a mini M26 Pershing Turret. The well rounded turret protects the gun, and the gun mantle connecting the gun to the turret. The gun mantle gives the gun good elevation and depression on the tank, allowing the gun a good range of motion. However the gun does not have the ability to aim at targets right next to the tank itself, there simply isn't enough gun depression. The gun mantle is made from Durasteel, with additional armor surrounding the gun aiming socket. The hull itself is made from multiple pieces of metal plating all welded together. The metal plating is cast from the cauldron previous used to make the turret. Having good mechanical knowledge, the frontal armor is well sloped giving the hull a more effective frontal armor than simply the raw thickness of the armor itself. The sidearmor is similarly sloped and have the same armor thickness has the front giving the front and side armor equal effective armor. However, the rear armor does not utilize the same armor practice. Using much less plating and no sloping to speak of, however it's unlikely that any enemy will be have the ability to constantly attack the tank from the rear. The turret and hull is attached through a 3 piece ring race. Allowing the turret to traverse in a 360 degrees. The turret ring is powered by the engine in the back of the tank. The engine is crafted from 8 aurora crystals. Linking the crystals together creates a large amount of heat. The heat is used to power the reactors by heating water to create steam. The steam will turn turbines, creating power for the tank. The method to turn off the engine is quite simple. Through a command from the AI or trusted outside source, the crystals will un-link. Apart the crystals do not have enough heat to create steam and therefor the engine turns off. I grab the AI Core and start programming all of the functions. Aiming, movement and basic combat tactics are programmed in, and stored within the AI core. The Tank's AI is able to respond to voice commands from the Spherebreaker by having each individual tagged. However, I have the final say on the what command is sent to the AI to deal with any conflicting orders. It's assisted by 2 CPU (buy 2 Central Processing Unit) to be able to react to changing circumstances. Connecting all of the sensors and Circuits boards in the vehicles take a large amount of Wires. Every single wire are grouped with cable ties. I house the AI core in the very center of the tank, giving it the most protection, some durasteel plating are placed inside the tank to protect the AI core and the valuable sensors in the turret. Using a of Crystal pens, I draw runes for "Durability" and "Hardness" on the hull. Also drawing a simple rune of "Better Sight" on the gun scope. Magic makes everything better. In the end after hard work, seemingly no time has passed. The Tank is finished. I give the name SB1 Armadillo I sent the tank to rolled in has reinforcements for the 1st floor defense. The 2nd Floor I move to K9 then deploy a Marksmen L7 The Ambusher ultizises the Portal's special ability to teleport itself L8, then it starts Fortifying Settings: Basic Attack: Air Resist: 20% Poison, 20% Air, 10% Slashing Weakness: 30% Air, 20% Piercing Special: AP4 |

Second post made to separate the retroactive RP from me actually doing things in the here and now.
New Echoss stat sheet, all stats, equipment, and spells are up to date. Substats are not. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wgv...dit?usp=sharing suddenly, in the center of the house a portal opens up next to the... uh... portal. Light can be seen shining through it but brief arcs of purple energy crackle around its edges so everyone is worried its another Iti up until 2 seconds later when a swarm of golden butterflies pours out of it, flying out in a cloud that circles around Xavier's portal once, then darts out the front door past the others and settles into a swirl on tile T16, coalescing into Echoss (Somehow restatted as listed in the above sheet but sshhhh) "Apologies for my late arrival, I believe we have some pest control to pursue?" Action unless someone objects: Echoss saunters down to T18, flips his brand new warcrimes fan around in his hand, and does a large, wide sweep sideways with it to the northeast, sending toxic spores directly into all three of the enemies in range. He looks at it curiously, muttering to himself about conservation of mass/energy, and backpedals to T17 so he's less at risk of getting jumped on by monsters. Battle orders: Echoss spawns T16, moves down to T18, swings his fan southwest to ping all 3 enemies in the general area (netwyrm head, seeker, and jotun twice) then retreats North a single square. My starting "player crafted inventory" items will be: 1. Phoenix Up 2. Ultra Laser Pointer 3. Ultra Laser Pointer Outside of the battlezone, Echoss's butterflies finally return to life, doing a couple of things across Sussui. In Scale Yggdrasil the abandoned Exhibition gets swarmed by butterflies. One of them checks around it to make sure it's disabled and won't wake up, then the rest stash it into the inventory. The one checker butterfly turns out to have been slightly out of sync and disintegrates immediately upon hitting the inventory space. Instead, a number of Echoss butterflies flutter down around the dying tree in the Road to the Battlefield. They flutter around it for a bit, as if deciding what to do, then move into action. A number of butterflies merge together into small humanoid figures. They don't look like Echoss, more like light golems or something, and with the help of the butterflies they work on removing the tree. Chopping down the top to push into the inventory, and then pulling up the stump and roots nearest the surface as carefully as possible, and then the dirt carefully placed back down so as to not dirty the path. Subsequently, a small group of butterflies flutters in with a small cutting/seed/sapling of Silverwood, and the small figures plant it back down in the freshly cleared soil. While there may not be anything to be done for the tree that was there before, at the very least a little bit can be done to help restore what was lost. Meanwhile, the butterfly swarm on scale Yggdrasil recoalesces around the escape pod Mari arrived in. When they disperse, the pod is gone. They didn't eat the pod or disassemble it or anything, I'm already doing a bunch of stuff in this post so they just shoved the whole thing into a corner of the inventory so it can be more carefully salvaged later. Finally, various butterflies do fruit collection duty in Zone 3. If Ire deems it too much, then he may cut these all off, but I figured it'd just save more time and hassle for all parties to clear all the trees in a zone at once. Tree goodies collected: 2 gigistems from Scale Yggdrasil 5 sap from Yggdrasil's Approach Bonus reminder of things that likely need to be fixed in the world map: If the battle at Sequoia Lake was supposed to subside at all when the top of Scale Yggdrasil exploded leaving the Rebels without much to be invading over (or with honestly given the death of their super tank) then note should probably be made there. If not, well, I guess it's good as is and this reminder was useless. Gaiadiamond Mines and the Explorer near it were never changed upon that battle being cleared. -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

TumbleFluff: Move to R20, attack NWHead1 x3, then use Magiburst x3.
Nidra: Power Nap Omo, move Pillow to Nezira, store Last Dream in Spell Storage, use Sheep Counter. Trellis Guardian: Nothing. Nidra quickly renames Power Nap on her Sleep Mask to Snooze. Also, her weaknesses and resistances need updating. |

Boshi glares at the dragon to the south east. He scoffs as he loads another searing cluster into the gun.
He then unloads his entire payload onto the Amphi, prioritizing damaged segments first, then undamaged segments, then the head. He seems to be waiting for the iti going near him to mess up. ---ACACIA'S HOUSE--- MU and Bow Kid decide to take a look around the place. Not for too long, though; they're both really tired. MU decides to raid the pantry for some food. She finds the cake left in there. ...Unfortunately for the cake, it was about to become her midnight snack. She takes the cake to the table, along with a few utensils. She then devours the cake. At the same time, Bow Kid discovers the art room, and all the gorgeous paintings lining the walls. She becomes awestruck with the detail in the paintings; enamored in the style so much she forgets that she was tired at all... she sticks around for a few minutes before looking around some more. An easel, and some paint catch her eye. She wonders if she should start painting for fun... a childish itch to create cool stuff sparks within her as she studies the paintings Acacia made more closely. Back in the dining area, MU finished her cake, but... ended up feeling a bit guilty about effectively stealing someone's cake. She cuts off a slice of the Princess Special - a large slice - and puts it on a plate. She then puts the cake back in the pantry, and heads off to the bedroom. ...Unfortunately for her, Maria was already there, snoozing away. The bed seems fairly small, too... she pouts, and sits on the floor near the door, eventually falling asleep. She's too tired to argue about a bed right now... Bow Kid, on the other hand, completely forgot about being tired, and is too engrossed in the paintings on the wall. --- The two space stations overhead seem to have come to a standoff. One, on the side of the Spherebreakers. The other, an enemy working for their own devices. A wise guess is that they are attempting to talk the other out of doing what they're doing. Neither has backed out yet. It may only be a matter of time before the two stations start slugging it out... -------------------- "...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."

Mariaaaa
The Kitsune from before tactically decides to accompany Maria and the crew to the indoors area. This is a sound decision and will likely ensure against EN's cooking (or anything else) shredding the children. "...I'mma find a bed. I'm sleeeeeepy..." Maria says, yawning midway through, as she inspects the house for a bed, finding it in the northwest corner. Her cats agree that the indoor spa is clearly the best place to nap and huddle roughly around Cupcake. She herself clutches the Venia plushie and hops into the bed, fiddling around with the lamp and shutting it off, slipping on a blinder for good measure. "... I need a nightlight. Its scary when its dark," Maria says, pulling off the blinder and flicking the lamp back on immediately. The Chibi Nia, straggling behind, slips into the room. "Oh oh oh, wait! You glow in the dark!" Maria exclaims, pointing at the Chibi Nia. "Sweater friend, sweater friend! Cool friend." Maria says, as the Chibi Nia leaps up to the bed and snuggles in right next to Maria. Maria shuts the light off again and puts on her blinder. She's asleep in like fifteen minutes, tops, the Chibi Nia glowing right next to her. Battle: The House "You want some? YOU WANT SOME?!" Venia shouts, attention caught by the oncoming tide of death. "I have plenty and I want to give you EVERY LAST BIT!" Venia rushes to K13 with her Blindsider hauling itself to M13. "All of you lot can't even comprehend how much seething rage I've got! How every day of my life I feel like I'm inches away from exploding with every new little offense I find, let alone the gigantic towering horrors I witness daily! Feel it! Feel my fury! FEEL IT!" Venia fires on Seeker2 with her basic attack, dealing approximately half of its HP in damage. This also triggers Consuming Cold, which is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, though Venia briefly becomes puzzled at the abrupt aura of cold around the seeker. Her Blindsider becomes inherently aware of a cheesy combo and casts Sap Drain on Seeker2, activating its trait in the process. It deals 13 HP of damage directly to its HP as a result, then between the 25% damage booster and Maccao Tailspike (for an extra 20% and Bleed2), it heals back all of its immediately-lost HP in a go and deals enough damage to secure a lethal on the seeker, even with the Nest back there to hamper the DPS. It snickers as Ire inevitably nerfs Sap Drain to no longer work with its trait. Or maybe not. Who knows? "COME ON!" Venia screams. Venia and the Blindsider retreat one square east each-J13 and L13 respectively. Meanwhile, by Crystalcat's consent, Nezira will move to Q15 and use her action plus a scanner charge to scan the Amphi a floor above and the 2nd Jotun. Notes >Reminder to update Venia's trait (on her sheet, her readout and her Unexisting unison stats) so any entity can uptick Unify, not just Venia's allies. >Crya and Verdana failed to have their Chibi Nias spawn in, and same with Irongutta's eggs. Make sure Echoss spawns his Chibi Nia as well. >Not all of Chloe's buffs were downticks by the new rules. Empowered, autorevive, Unify and Swordbeam should all have 2 duration. |

At Acacia's house...
"...Best naw t' do anythin' too bad while we's 'ere... better kiddie-proof th' place too. Jus' in case." EN quickly disappears into the house, taking a look in the kitchen to the immediate dismay of anyone who remembers just how horrifying bad she is at everything related to the intended purposes of kitchens. She then walks past it, to the sound of the world sighing in relief. A quick check in the room with the spring doesn't reveal anything she's interested in or needs to worry about, same with the bedroom, so she checks out the one last place remaining. Namely, the one with the artwork. "Huh. Neat." She appreciates the artworks for a bit, then sets something down near them. It appears to be a shield generator. Because of course the only reasonable way to protect artwork is with military-grade shielding. Outside, Calibri appears ready to go do things, and so sets off, walking a little away from the house. "...Make sure nobody does anything dumb while I'm not looking, right, big guy?" "I'm not sure why you trust me of all people with being responsible for what other people do..." "Just keep EN out of the kitchen." "Point conceded." Calibri chuckles, then a flicker of darkness signals his departure. At the normal house... Verdana eyes the networm heads with concern, noticing the seeker near him as well. He pauses to consider what to do... He then seems to have an idea, turning to the Tumblefloof. "Small fluffy thing... Go smack that thing!" He gestures at Netwyrm head 2, then... is distracted by the sudden emergence of the Chibi Nia wizard. He stares at her for a moment, then makes an adoring noise while picking her up and giving her a cuddle. "CUUUUUTE!" After a while, he sets her down and says something to the Chibi Nia about wanting her to stay out of harm's way, then concentrates. Calibri appears beside him soon enough. "Sup. Need help with something?" "Yeah. I... don't really feel that confident doing this alone with that many enemies around, so... Wanna help?" "...Maybe, heh. Handshake to agree on it?" The two of them nod, then extend out a hand to make a handshake. However, upon contact, something odd sparks off between them. Neither of them are really sure what's going on, as they both hesitantly glance down at their hands, but almost instantly seem to fall into a type of stasis. The pair aren't moving... A hum akin to electrical power station hums begins to fill the air, the point of contact between the brothers starting to shine with a rather bright light. The brightness rapidly intensifies, reaching and exceeding the point where it's actually a bit hard to make out details, followed by alternating flashes of light and darkness, each light flash becoming progressively redder and each darkness flash becoming progressively bluer. Those who have some way of seeing the souls of entities might be able to see something peculiar - two fragments of a soul joining together, forming most of a complete soul yet not quite the whole thing. Perhaps something is missing... From the point where the combined soul could be observed, shining beams of red and blue erupt out and begin to spiral around in the air, strangely harmless but very bright. With one last loud sound, something like the ding of a bell, the light gradually fades away. Only one silhouetted person can be seen standing where once stood two... The light fades completely. The one standing there is still very much Verdana, but things have changed. His eyes remain the same, as does the majority of his hair, but his clothing has been quite drastically altered. He now wears a rather plain blue cloak that nonetheless stands out quite remarkably, and as a wind begins to blow, the cloak lifts up and waves in the air behind him. He also seems to be wearing a red-coloured version of his brother's hoodie, as opposed to the usual outfit. The hoodie also has a blue armored cuirass layered over part of it, and the inside of the hoodie is coloured red like one would expect. Not to mention the Vagrant's Will he's carrying, which apparently got involved in the process slightly and now appears to sport a large blue gem right about where one would expect a gem on a staff to be. Beyond all that, a blue aura of energy shines around him. TLDR he looks cooler. After he's had a moment to look himself over, Verdana blinks, then comments to himself about the changes. Interestingly, his voice is echoing, but the echo is speaking with Calibri's voice, which may be a little odd to hear at first. "Well, this is a first. When I thought we'd be fighting together, this is not what I had in mind... Not that I'm complaining!" He laughs to himself quite heartily, at the very least enjoying the elevated state of power for what it is. The fusion does look a little incomplete, not that that'll be too much of a problem. After some time, he comments something to himself. "Maybe both of us ought to work out some naming conventions for this thing. Make it clear who's acting as the main personality and all that. Can't imagine there's too much of a difference, but still... maybe one of the fusions could be named Veribri and the other one named Caldana? Something like that, at least." TLDR: Memorian Fusion time. Spoiler Alert -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. Currently, you follow mine."
