Boshi looks at the Devout and Sniper, and seems ready to mow the two of 'em down. "(Apologies for this.)"

Boshi lobs a Fragapple at (V5), hoping to get rid of the shielding the both of them have.

Then, four more of him pop in from the timestream. Temporal Stampede! 160 SP spent!
The five of them then rush forward, swarming the Devout and Sniper, knocking them down, and trampling over them. By the time Boshi was done, he was at (X5). He retreats to (W4).

(Of note is that there should be 5 attacks, and the beam is Range 5, due to modifiers.)

The Mountain Goat really didn't seem to care about being beaten into oblivion just now. It smacks the nearby fighter with it's horns.

RP: The Elevator

Nia asks about Mr. Krabs, and Venia's eyes light up. "Oh, him? He's been a bit of a project, mostly a proof of concept-"

And then Nia asks about Venia's newly-dyed hair. Venia's smile falls. "-oh. Uh... Nia, I don't really know how to say this, but. I already kind of demonstrated? To you? While you were watching? Everyone else can confirm. Like, you must've just been focusing on other things, but... Nia, uh, are you OK? Uh, what did I put in your backpack last? What have we been talking about?"

"'Nia, are you OK?' Of course not! She's totally possessed!... Might as well keep polite though. No use getting angry at her, even if she has every right to be angry at me."

Altar garden

Venia... "Presses" the exclamation point on the scanner with a bit of telekinetic force. If that doesn't activate the question mark, Venia shrugs and types in 'ALTAR'

Venia also takes this time to scan the Projector with the Flux Detector. Properly.

"Hey, Ga'aunt." Venia says at her left arm. "...What do you think of all of this? Not just the projector, like. What's up with that altar over there? Does any of this ring a bell?" Venia asks.

"... Do you think I can do it? Save Nia, I mean. I know I keep asking. That's because I can't assure myself."

Battle

Venia activates her Stunning Glove, sending a pulse of disorientating light at Sapper2. She then uses an Elemental Blaster shot to hit Fighter1 atop EN's head, then pings them with her hat, before backing up to N11. She wraps up her turn by shooting Fighter1 with her Splintershot.

"We're over halfway there, keep it up everyone!"

Auth moves to L10, administers a Celesap Pastry to Mari, and uses his action to remove Mari's Root.

The Man stays where he is and uses Watchful Eye on H13.

While Calibri is admittedly having a nap post-housework, there's still some level of awareness still left in him. As such, he remains where he is for now, although an illusory construct of his image flickers out and pops on up to just outside the upstairs bathroom. It doesn't seem to want to head inside, but it does decide to speak up...

"Sup Chlo. Watched a bit of the duel. Curious. How do you feel that went?"

Elsewhere in the skies, Verdana stares for a moment as he sees Gibbet fail to cast the intended spell but pretty much make a whole new one. He decides to try and record that one down for the spell list, in case it might be helpful for someone else to know, then just giggles.

"Not what I expected, but pretty cool! Hmm, what else... Oh, you do also have a decent psychic affinity. And a bit of earth. Maybe you could try something with one of those elements... Maybe something like this? I'm kind of improvising here, so I don't know how well it'll work for you, but..."

The air around Verdana flickers for a moment, a red-tinted sphere of energy appearing and turning to psychic purple. A summoned shield, to put it simply... Verdana decides to hold it for a few seconds to get the point across, then the air flickers around Verdana once more. The sphere of energy flashes back to red and soon pops into being nothing.


Elsewhere, EN responds to Mari by simply shrugging.

"Well... Time is funny, we do some 'olidays a tad outta th' usual times, an' one o' those 'olidays lined up wit' Authy's birthday. So ah tried me 'and at makin' a cake. Prolly worth notin' ah'm... naw tha' great, ah'll admit... Still, effort counts, right?"

EN chuckles awkwardly, unsure what to really say about her own talents, or lack thereof in this particular instance...

"Ah s'pose it ain't a total miss. Still coul' work fer someone wit' a lotta luck..."


And then there's the everground... Down there, the Engie drone holds up a severed eyeball, which rolls itself at the Observer. One might question where he got it from, although maybe it's best not to know. He then turns his attention down to the seekers, seeming somewhat annoyed by them.

"I don't want to deal with any of you right now. Go away."

He promptly hops off the tree and bodyslams onto the lower seeker, turning to uproot the tree next to him and bodily hurl it at the other seeker. Once that's done with, somehow miraculously avoiding doing anything like disturbing the observers because of course he can throw trees around without causing drastic consequences, he wanders over to the fountain and takes a close look at the weird Iti thingy there.

"Okay, so what are you, then?"

Assuming he doesn't get a response from the Iti in question, he decides to pull out a scanner, quickly disabling Observer Eye before running a scan on the fountain Iti so that it doesn't accidentally ping the Iti with damage. If he does for some reason get a verbal response from the fountain Iti, he just stands there and blinks, then says.

"Well then. I didn't actually expect you to say something, so now I have to think of questions..."


BATTLE ACTION:

"Tha' were deliberate, Nia. Ya'd be surprised 'ow useful it is t' be unnervin' sometimes. Anywho..."

EN looks moderately annoyed at the fighter standing on her head, but turns her attention to the dudes next to her. She seems to be pondering something for a moment... Then, she has an idea, turning her gaze specifically on Sapper 1.

"...Look, we both know 'ow this's gonna go. Ah've got so many terrible pickup lines, yer better off jus' walkin' away right now an' sparin' yerself th' trouble, given th' alternative is me sayin' somethin' t' ya tha'll make ya wanna throw yerself down an elevator shaft."

Since this somehow counts as her casting Flirt with the fear modifier active, the Sapper in question wisely backs off to U11. EN then steps back to Q11 and promptly pops a shot off at the Stormrobe.

"Yes, let's kill our own allies! What could POSSIBLY be wrong in that!?"

Keiko, likely now contemplating punching Toast in the face for attempted teamkilling, casts Revive to bring back Irongutta Hex on M13. Keiko further fortifies her position by placing cover on N15.

Arisa moves one step back to W17 and pulls Nothing Ventured again, taunting the spider that's trapping her.

"Hey! Spoder!"

*spoder noises*

"Skidaddle skidondese, you are now Sugondese!"

*angery spoder noises*

Nidra moves to M15, hits SpiRider2, and retreats to M14.

Complexity ahead!

Nezira guides her Yggcrawler through the Portal and over to F8, then requests it to slash Eviscerator 3 with its Basic Attack. While they're there, she pulls a Spice Potion from her Hammerspace Sack, pulls out the cork, and tosses it to Firebomber 1, angling it calculatedly so the opening of the bottle lands in their mouth in perfect draining position. While it glugs into their mouth, she carefully helps her Yggcrawler take out a Spray Pack and aim it at the Medic, then activate it. They then jointly retreat to G8.

Once they're at G8, before proceeding, she asks Ette to use the Helix Totem on her. Once it's been used, she activates Transcendent Analysis to copy the Man's 37 HIT with Perfected Form active (for a total of 48 HIT), takes out her Scrutinizing Staff, and-

"I'm sorry if any of you get hurt, but you're not allowing us to hold back!"

-casts Proximity Burst on the Medic.

Meanwhile, her Bastion fires an electrical shot at the Watcher near the cable.

Terry aims Material Transfer from P12, shooting Fighter1 and healing the Cable.

Hex, revived, self casts Fury, pops his special, then moves to G10, and glares down the Rebels.

Brutishace moves back to M8 and fires Twin Jolts at the second Bladedancer. If they would die to the first bolt, he then attacks the Watcher.

Lusiarre moves to M9, and summons a Cherub on N9. She also applies Fear the Voodoo to link it to the Exhibition

Irongutta is dead downed.

Piggo uses all 5 of his MOV to move around Spider Rider 2's Zone of Control and reach L17. The little sapsqueal then slams into Lancer 1.

Ziah shrugs as Taeda kills his target, turning around to notice a Bladedancer and a Watcher attacking the cable. He pulls an Orion Arrow from his quiver and loads it into his bow, moving to M9 Shyamalan and aiming at the Bladedancer.

Ziah: Let's try not to do that, kay?

He fires the arrow towards the Bladedancer's side, hoping to either hit him directly or catch a dodge.

...

Meanwhile, I continue to have inconsistent formatting of Ziah's dialogue. I should sort that out.

<ROUND ONE-HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX>

Toast thinks about her name. She doesn't quite feel that it suits her quite anymore. A semi-awake Marron stirs, smiling warmly at Toast as she awakens. She rubs her eyes.

MARRON: S-Sup, T-Toaster...
MARRON: J-Just... give me a second.

She takes a moment to wake herself up, yawning as she does, sitting up and stretching her arms. Once she's done, she slips back under the covers, going back to cuddling with Toast.

MARRON: So... a name?
MARRON: I mean, I think Toast is kinda cute, but... hey, it is a bit of a weird name...

Marron can't help but giggle a little as Toast averts her gaze.

MARRON: I'll try.
MARRON: I mean, I don't think I've ever really been great with names- I mean, my name in itself is one part of a bad pun, but I'll give it a shot.
MARRON: ...

The puppeteer takes a moment to ponder names.

MARRON: It'd be cool if you had something like, cool and snazzy, that reflected your magical powers...
MARRON: Or maybe like... a word from your magical language?
MARRON: That could be pretty cool. Maybe even kinda cute, too.

Marron remains there, trying her hardest to think up more suggestions. It also occurs to Toast that maybe they should properly wake up soon- due to timelines, they're actually yet to go to Yggdrasil. It's weird how these things work out, huh?

Something interrupts Marron's thought process. She blushes a little.

MARRON: O-Oh, um...
MARRON: When you have the time, could you mend the gem on my Heart Bracelet?
MARRON: I-I saw Chloe pick it up, and I was thinking I could get it back from her, and... well, I thought it was kinda cool having matching bracelets.

Venia messes around with the altar. She tries to press the exclamation mark, but it is nothing but a projection. She then types in "ALTAR" into the projector, then submits it. The entire display above it glitches out, and vanishes... and is replaced with a message.

...Venia opts to scan the thing afterwards. The readings are weird, and it'd probably take a few more scans to get a full understanding of the thing, but what she does know now is that it is FAR bigger on the inside than the outside. Curious. The top of the box also appears to double as a lid. Maybe she could force it open?

She then asks Ga'aunt what he thinks about this place. The eye on her gauntlet flickers open.

GA'AUNT: ...No, it does not.
GA'AUNT: I do think however, that the altar there is a memorial. Either to those who built it, or those who died defending it.
GA'AUNT: Given the ashen markings upon it, I'd assume the former- it'd simply be disrespectful to display it like that.

...Then, the big question. Can she save Nia?

GA'AUNT: ...I do not know.
GA'AUNT: ...We did however, believe that the Butterfly was not unstoppable.
GA'AUNT: It could be stopped. Forever.

GA'AUNT: I only really remembered that just now.
GA'AUNT: But if you do not believe in your own abilities, believe in the abilities of others.
GA'AUNT: You have allies, do you not? I had allies of my own back in the Rose.
GA'AUNT: Their faces are all blurred to me, however...

Ga'aunt stares at Venia, before shutting his eye again. Apparently, he doesn't really like to be awake 24/7. Oh well.

Calibri approaches Chloe, and asks about the duel. She sighs, telling him everything he really needed to know. But still, she talks.

CHLOE: I-I... feel kinda bad.
CHLOE: I mean, it was good practice, and I think I did pretty well myself, but...
CHLOE: I... I can't really believe that we got bodied so hard...

CHLOE: Say what you'd want about Toast's tactics- they're incredibly effective!
CHLOE: When I was stuck there, watching as Marron trembled in fear of Toast... I-I felt helpless. I really wanted to break free and help her, b-but... well, sap.
CHLOE: What if something like this happens in a real battle, a-and I can't help them?
CHLOE: I... really want to be able to protect everyone! Everyone's been so kind to me, and I-I... don't want to see anyone else die.

Chloe takes a deep breath. Then, she pouts.

CHLOE: Also, my head still hurts from when Irongutta threw me, and all those sap bombs...
CHLOE: I've been so busy with everyone else, that I haven't really had time to tend to my own wounds properly...
CHLOE: ...Mind helping me out? I'm almost done with this batch of medicine, and we have a few bandages prepared. It's kinda awkward to apply medicine to yourself...

She awaits a response from Calibri. It'd probably just be a few bandages around the head, and liberal application of herbal medicine.

Meanwhile, up in the friendly skies with Gibbet, Verdana tries to teach Gibbet how to shield. It tilts its head at him in a confused fashion, before attempting something. A glitched rope promptly appears around Verdana's neck. It appears to have made a slight mistake. It hasn't quite constricted it yet, though- perhaps probably because it's trying to do something else? Still, it'd be a good idea to be careful- wouldn't want to get your head popped off like a cork, right?

Meanwhile-er, EN and Mari talk about cake. Effort counts, right?

MARI: ...While your average teacher might try and encourage you to follow your dreams, if your cooking dreams were a person, I'd shoot them.
MARI: They're unclean.

She shudders.

MARI: It's... kinda obvious that your talents lie elsewhere.
MARI: No other way to put it. Just like, make him a birthday sweater, or something.

Meanwhile-er-est, down in the Everground, the Engie Drone bodies two seekers, throwing them into each other. They're both slain, along with that tree he threw, if it's actually alive. He then runs a scan on that newfangled Iti. He looks at its readings- apparently, it's called a "Chime"?

It... "turns" to face the Engie Drone. It doesn't quite have a face, or anything even resembling a head- it's more a mishmash of shapes that vaguely resembles a set of windchimes. Some of those rods point themselves aggressively at the drone. It appears the only response he'll get is in blunt trauma! I mean, it hasn't attacked yet, but still.

Good news! No more Rebel / Rose reinforcements! Bad news: you're finally meeting some proper Chairian Morphs! Like Hersilia, these Morphs are capable of transforming their wooden bodies! These ones are specialized in morphing their body through walls. Make sure that they don't burst you down with their immense physical attack power! Anyway, be sure to deal with the flankers, and maybe try and wipe out the remaining Rebels and Rose!

<THE ELEVATOR, ROUND SIX>
Now that you're nearing your escape, the Chairians are picking up the pace once more! Morphs and other reinforcements have arrived on both sides, along with another Spitter from below! Fend these guys off, and odds are there won't be much that can stop your ascent!

Wasn't really going to post this round, but what the hell.

Wyvern uses Evolve Strain, casts Vampiric Venom on himself, activates Draconic Investment and slashes at the Exhibition for the memes. This'll either kill me, or be mildly amusing. I'm better off either way.

Wyvern also turns back towards the Firebomber, baring his teeth. He's made slightly more intimidating by the fact that his face is covered in his own blood. He threatens the Firebomber with his claws, before pointing at the Exhibition.

"H-Help... or I'll end you..."

Hex snaps out of his stupor in the Underground, and whips out the Coilbust drill. Time to get to work.
First, he uses the vines growing out of the side to climb down to the bottom of the pit, then YOUTH ROLLs into the cavern. He then bounces off the Engietech drone's head, over the chime. He then throws out a scan at the deadish trees and the fountain. He then glances up at the Observer overhead (the second one, not the one on the plasteel), and decides not to go under it, just to be safe. Instead, he whips out a Goddess's Dominion, and has the drone rip out the Plasteel, and give it to him, where he stuffs it into hammerspace.
Finally, he turns the Observer overhead, on the Plasteel. Time to do something stupid. He hands his current plunder to the Engietech drone, then tells it to get the hell out of here until he's done, lest it be killed.
Then, he places Calypse's Cage on the floor, open door facing upwards, Observer above. He then pulls out a Secretary Slice, and blasts a bolt of oblivion up, aiming carefully, hitting the area right above the plasteel. The plasteel, and observer, are now hanging in midair. Gravity ensues, and the plasteel and iti fall down, into the cage, where hex slams the door shut. He quickly assembles a bar out of 4 titanium and durasteel, and bolts the cage door to prevent the Observer from getting out.
He returns the cage to the inventory.
....or he gets mauled. Whatever.

Toast leans her head against Marron's shoulder, feeling them rise and fall with each breath.

"A word from my language? That could be cool..."

She thinks about words, before chuckling a little.

"I'll have to think of something that isn't gonna do something magical whenever someone says it." She frowns, deep in thought. "But... anyway, I'm not sure what kind of name I want exactly, but maybe something strong. Like me. I think. I'm sure 'Shill' would be appropriate, but it doesn't really 'fit' me in the way it sounds." She continues, bouncing a few more ideas around. "Hm. I have thought about less 'magical' names in the past. One of the 'normal' names I like is... Kit. What do you think of that? Does it... work?" She waits patiently for an answer.

Some amount of time later, Marron presumably asks about the bracelet.
"Oh, the bracelet? I'm sure I can fix it. Maybe we can get it from Chloe on our way to Yggdrasil? ...If we're late, I think I can time travel us back.
Right now, though, there's nowhere I'd rather be than here."

"Y'know, the 'magical name' thing gives me a really good idea..." she says, equipping a wry smile, "...I think it will be a fun little surprise."
At that, she begins sharing her plan with Marron.

Toast grins a little as Keiko goes down, though it probably wouldn't be as funny if she didn't have a fix handy. In her best Keiko impression, she scolds the healer's body.
"You've got some serious nerve just dying like that."
She steps to O14 and points to Ette. The puppet's white aura mixes with her green. Energy races down her arms, forming a trio of orbs around each, vaguely resembling Ette's graspers.
Then, she manifests a needle into each hand.
"This is gonna sting. Deal with it."
In a storm, Toast begins stitching up Keiko's wounds while simultaneously using the borrowed aura to repair internal damage. Quick as a flash, she's done, the energy dissipates, and she 'holsters' the needle, dematerialising it.
"And next time: duck."

Once Toast is finished being Keiko, her Construct marches to N16 and uses Pole Thrust to the east. It swivels its torso, before extending each segment of its arm out, plunging the halberd through the two foes ahead of it.
