Calibri spawns into the Sequioa's Lake battle at C13. Is Assassin3 at D14 and still alive? If so, Calibri smacks him with the sec slice. If not, he moves to E13 and casts Force Nail, pinning the Magirail1 to the sandbags, then retreats back to D12.

Teag suddenly shows up. Nobody really knows where he's been, himself included. He opts to put 2 skillpoints in to HP, 1 in MP, 1 in SKI, and the remaining 2 in RES.

After this, he updates his special (which will probably be mostly handled in Discord) and joins the new battle, spawning at B9 with a Piercing round loaded, which is then violently sent towards the Blade Dancer.

Unfortunately, I am lacking time. So I'll do RP next round.

Packo tries to get the attention of someone, asking if they know who this "coffee drinking fiend" is. He manages to succeed in catching the attention of someone waltzing off to battle. A Chairian woman in a purple robe. Miss Omorika.

OMORIKA: Ah, greetings.
OMORIKA: My name is Stella Omorika, member- or I suppose, former member of the Highchair.
OMORIKA: ...While I'd hardly describe myself as a coffee drinking field, perhaps I do drink too much...

...Perhaps there's been a bit of a communication error? Either way, she gives him a very slight smile.

OMORIKA: Anyway, while I'm not a healer, I can do my best to keep you safe.
OMORIKA: It's nice to meet you, sir Packo.

With that, she keeps on sauntering on towards the battlefield.

Koharu smashes a charm, and tosses it in a blender with 1 Rose Weave, 3 Blue Sap Blobs, and Nullpetal's Blessing. The blender dies, but produces the Aeternalis Ribbon! It's pretty cute.

Daskter equips the Command Banner, then respecs somewhat. That's a satisfying respec; INT and SPC stayed the same, overall!

Toast walks with Marron to the Lake. She also accepts the hair flower, gaining +4 Aesthetic Points. They also agree to keep Ette out of this, if only for now. Then, the two of them agree to a battlefield date! Cute! Well, maybe not the 'battlefield' part, but that can be cute in a way!

MARRON: Oh, nice!
MARRON: I guess we should get going, then!
MARRON: ...Wait, how would a battlefield date even work? I guess it's romantic fighting back-to-back, but-
MARRON: Actually no: that's kinda cool. To the battlefield!

The couple arrives at the lake, Ette happily hopping along with them. As they enter the zone, a look of fear crosses Toast's eyes. Toast vents her concerns with the lake. Marron also appears to be rather rattled...

MARRON: W-Wait, i-it's a lake!?
MARRON: I-I can't swim! I-I've never e-even tried swimming! T-There's not really many nice bodies of water in the Mindscape, a-and I have t-this stupid puppet arm...
MARRON: ...I-I'd like to second heading around top! Or bottom!

...Marron's hyperventilating. Ette waves a few things to Marron.

ETTE: (I-It'll be fine! I-I believe that our friends will be able to keep us safe!)
MARRON: Y-You can't swim either, Ette! How are you so calm about this!?
ETTE: (Well... I don't need to breathe.)
ETTE: (I can just sorta drift on down to the bottom, and walk from there. I think, anyway!)
MARRON: ...Lucky.
ETTE: Marron, I'm a puppet. I wouldn't say this is lucky. This is a fortunate side-effect.
MARRON: T-Toaster! L-Let's s-stick together, alright? W-We can help each other!
MARRON: W-We can also get Ette to pull back back to s-safety... r-right!?
ETTE: (Right! I'm here for you two!)

Marron marches on forward, gripping Toast's hand incredibly tight. It'd probably hurt both of their hands if Marron's wasn't made of fabric.

On the way to the battle at the lake, Omo and Packo meet up again, and continue talking.

OMORIKA: Hm? That's quite a lot of questions...
OMORIKA: Let me answer in order:
OMORIKA: -Yes, I believe our group is... mostly friends.
OMORIKA: -We are out to destroy, or at least disable the Sphere.
OMORIKA: -Keiko? I don't know her too well, but she's one of our clerics. She seems... nice, in her own way.
OMORIKA: -These people call themselves the Treason Clu- or actually, I believe they call themselves the Spherebreakers now, or something.
OMORIKA: -Certainly. We're not backed up by a large military, so every hand helps.
OMORIKA: -You won't die because we'll protect you. I'll make sure of it.
OMORIKA: -Yes, you can survive. This question is redundant.
OMORIKA: -Hello.

Omo takes a moment to catch her breath.

OMORIKA: ...Anyway.
OMORIKA: I'm not quite sure what Keiko means by a "resident healer". Perhaps she's referring to the Author? I truthfully don't know. Why not ask her?

The two keep walking onward, Omo seemingly ever-solemn. She whispers a spell to herself, which envelops her in a blue light for a moment before its glow vanishes into the air.

Venia does words. She first responds to the duo's story, attesting to their strength. Okay, she's specifically responding to Nia, but it was their story.

NIA: I-I mean, gosh...
NIA: A-Am I really that strong for forgiving her? She's been like, my best friend for a long time...
NIA: I couldn't really help but blame myself for not killing her I MEAN for hurting her. I-I shouldn't have been mad over petty things like Chloe being straighter than a board...

Venia then goes on with her theories about the Butterfly.

NIA: Happiness? I guess that makes sense. The Butterfly is like, the biggest downer to ever exist...
NIA: I'd drink to that.
NIA: I'd also drink to the fact that my powers are safe. If that's true, that's awesome; I really, really like these powers, even if they're granted by a stupid butterfly thingy.

Venia then quickly does a sweep of Nia with the Flux Detector. It gives out a reading of 4 Entropins out of 10. What's an Entropin? That's like, a random unit of measurement I just made up on the spot. She then asks Nia if she can peek into her mind...

NIA: ...Uh.
NIA: I'm... not sure if I'd like that.
NIA: I mean if you need to, go ahead, but isn't that like... I dunno... invasive?
CHLOE: You're just scared because she'll see something lew-
NIA: NO SHE WOULDN'T > : U
CHLOE: B-But yeah. It'd be pretty invasive.
NIA: Y-Yeah...
NIA: Only do it if things get really bad, alright? Or, if I'm not really being rational, you have my permission!

She then asks for Nia to fight alongside her. She accepts.

NIA: Gladly! Let's go kick some butt!
CHLOE: I'll help too!

Venia then goes shopping, buying an Itisa Grenade. She also slides Chaos 500 Credits for the ability to Bypass some Requirements. Nia may now upgrade items you give her! This might not actually only be limited to weapons or equipment- give it a try?

And, since she's still not done, Venia opts to throw together 1 cup of Soulblossom and Goneblossom tea, along with 2 Fresh Manabloom and a dash of sugar. The combination yields 2 Meldblossom Tea. Maria then decides to ask Chaos about the backstory. Chaos seems confused at first.

Chloe happily claims her new gear, marveling at their design. Nezira showcases the "summoning" properties of the clothing she's received, and the changes to her sword.

CHLOE: W-Wow! Amazing work as always, Nez!
CHLOE: I-I'm... really blessed to have someone like you on my side! It's just... w-wow...
CHLOE: I-I'm gonna... go change really quick. Maybe give these old clothes back to Toast.

Chloe runs off behind a tree, and comes back with a neatly bundled shirt and jeans and the new armor equipped. She stashes it in the inventory, immediately returning it to Toast. With a quick use of probably a command word, Chloe summons the armor into existence. Then she summons it away. And in. and away. And in. She decides to keep it summoned for now, since she's about to march off into battle, after all. It predictably looks good on her, in both forms.

CHLOE: This actually feels incredible! It's strangely light so I can still dodge, looks awesome, and also fits my figure pretty well!
CHLOE: I-I'm not sure what to say, o-other than that it's perfect!

She does a little twirl on one foot. Nia seems to approve of how the armor looks.

NIA: Ohmygosh! : D
NIA: it's adorableeeeee
CHLOE: A-Adorable? I-I mean... I think it's more awesome than adorable...
NIA: Eh, awesome and adorable can go together! You look great, Chlo!

Chloe's face begins to glow, and a small smile crosses her face. As Nia sprints off ahead, staff raised to the sky, Chloe then rather suddenly approaches Nezira.

CHLOE: Ah, Nezira!
CHLOE: I was wondering...
CHLOE: I really don't know much about you, and it feels kinda weird- you're doing all this awesome stuff for me, but I don't really know much about you.
CHLOE: Could you tell me about yourself? I'd appreciate it greatly!

She walks alongside Nezira, just trailing behind Venia as she marches towards combat.

He then runs up to Nia, and introduces himself.

NIA: Whoa! What are you...?
NIA: Uh, anyway, I'm Nia! Nia Khioneas! It's nice to meet you!
NIA: ...But really, what are you? N-Not trying to be rude, b-by the way!
NIA: There's like, a lot of different races in your group, and I think it's really cool! There's a frost giant, chair people, some windy-mage-guy-thing, and now you!
NIA: (also sorry for trying to kill you :oops:)

He asks about the Rebel's munitions.

NIA: Oh, I've actually seen the thing that's been making those explosions at Yggdrasil!
NIA: I didn't really pay it much mind at the time, but it was like... part tank, part moving fortress, and at least fifty percent dakka.
NIA: We're talking machine guns, flamethrowers, overly long barrels that shoot flamey death balls...
NIA: All the good stuff! And... all the scary stuff, since that'll all eventually be pointed at us!

Nia awkwardly laughs, before resuming her walk to Sequoia's Lake.

You should probably get moving- Bar'kwakh has appeared, and he might make it hard to move East should you dwaddle. There's also constant reinforcements on both sides, too! You have a feeling that they'll slowly lessen in flow the longer the battle goes, but for now they'll be pretty oppressive. AoE magic might be your savior here.

<VS ACACIA, ROUND THREE>
Hersilia's down! However, Acacia's Aerobeam has carved through your ranks, dropping Hex (who is okay due to an Autorevive), almost destroying a totem, and almost knocking Marron out cold. Fortunately, you're now in a pretty alright spot to deal some damage! Find a way to break into the enemy's backline, and maybe you could disable Acacia!

Teag goes to F11 and guards (or I guess whatever ever the action that my armor replaces it with is called) while reloading a penetration round.

The Man rolls to J12 and guards.

Destiny runs to O10, hookshots onto Assassin 1, and retreats to N10.

The Battle of Sequoia's Lake

I stand my ground and summon a Swarmer: Calvary at C8.

The Turret retaliates against the Storm Robe, icing him, the archer is caught in the crossfire.
(Turret fires at Storm Robe, which then T.Bounces to the Archer)

Nezira looks at Chloe. "Well, that's a long story. I was born on a relatively normal parallel Earth, except for the presence of magic -- which I took to about as quickly as I took to learning everything else. I grew up quickly, and went through the various levels of education with incredible ease, becoming a prodigy mage and eventually taking up a research position at one of the better institutions of magic. It was an incredible life of expanding the boundaries of magical theory, but I somehow felt unsatisfied, as though there was more to life. Then, one day, I found this--"
(she touches the Codex for a second)
"--or, more precisely, it came to me. One day, someone who had this very same book in their hands more or less just walked up to me, asked to speak to me in private about a new discovery, and told me about the multiverse. I was captivated -- so many different things to learn and explore. It was like some empty place in me disappered when I learned that. We chatted back and forth for hours, as I asked him about all the different details of what things were like out there. Eventually, he told me that the book he had was a repository of knowledge about the multiverse that he'd been recording his entire life, ever since someone else had also passed it on to him. He asked me if I wanted to have it passed on to me and become its new keeper and chronicler."
She pauses for a second.

"With everything I'd heard, I knew I'd regret it my entire life if I didn't say yes. There was so much to explore out there, so much to learn... what else was I supposed to do? Keep making little incremental improvements to the magical knowledge of one world among uncountable worlds, when I could be learning knowledge from all of those myriad worlds? I took it from his hands. He looked at me for a second, smiled, and said, 'It'll tell you what you need. Good luck.' and then he... dissolved into light, with that same peaceful smile on his face."
She pauses for another second, clearly thinking back to that moment.

"The light was sucked into the book I was holding in my hands, and I felt knowledge rush into my head, knew spells that would let me leave my universe and travel to other ones, and the basics of how to protect myself out there, and I knew the book I was holding. Really, truly knew it.

...I haven't aged a day since then, in over 200 years. I was in the prime of my life when I took this book in my hands and agreed to become its holder, its Archivist, and I'll be in the prime of my life forever... until I get tired of traveling the multiverse and recording knowledge in it. When that happens... like that man who passed it on to me, I'll find someone new for it, and then dissolve like he did and join with it forever, mind, body, and soul.

...I suppose it's not such a bad end, given what I know about the Codex itself and its inner workings, and especially given what's recorded in here about Limbo and other afterlives, but I find myself not particularly eager to be absorbed as soon as I pass it on."
She pauses for a longer time.

"Well, that got a little more in-depth than I expected to go. Still, that's far in the future, and I'm doing my own research on the side, seeing what can be done to alter that fate. I have plenty of time left, after all."

She sighs slightly to herself.

"I hope."

Nezira moves up to E13 and summons a Realigner at E11.
The Harasser moves to F14 and shoots Bar'kwakh with its basic attack.

Nidra moves to J12 and drops a Nightmare Singularity on M18. She then retreats to K11.

"I- y-yeah, I'm coming...!" Toast shouts, unconvincingly, "L-let's just get across this thing fast, okay?" She psyches herself up, before running across the bridge to G9. She summons a Tempest Hailstorm (Starcore Scarf) at D5.
"Coros Ulen Dalta!"
An icy storm picks up, buffeting the enemies in the area. She then retreats to I11.
Hailstorm has (10-12) damage, due to Arcane Inspiration, then 75% of that due to Tempest. It also doesn't slow.
-13 MP. +13 SP (excluding damage) and +13 Spellstorm.

Her eyes are then drawn to the enormous Yggcrawlker. She briefly forgets her fear of deep water. The very same eyes spy the two Yggcrawler's riding the larger's flank. "...I want to ride one."

Brutishace tries to decide on something... thankfully, the lumbering beast marching towards the bridge makes it for him.

This new beast's immense size should make it bountiful for Drain Life- maybe it'll see some use?

Brutishace moves to I12 and casts Drain Life on Bar'kwakh's Head, hoping to punish it and the Yggcrawlers atop its hulking frame. And, if possible, it'll benefit his allies, too.

-BEFORE SEQUOIA'S LAKE, BUT NO MORE OF THIS SECTION AFTER THIS ROUND-

Venia recoils a little at Nia's response. "Ah! Ah, sorry, yes, uh, yes. That is, rather invasive... If it's really necessary, though? It is like a cancer so if I need to do it I need to do it as soon as I can, but if it's really necessary... I'll... I'll need to mull that over... I have a few other options, but it is really bad enough... I'll think about this, thoroughly, and if I can find a better option I'll take it."

After Nia moves off to the battle, Venia hangs behind, just a bit, makes sure Nia isn't watching, and talks to Ga'aunt. "... Do I do it? Uh, check her mind out, I mean, to inspect what's going on in there... I, the most likely way I think we're going to cut the connection is by, well, going into her mind somehow and forcibly severing the connection long enough to get Nia's mind projected into another body. There's better, less likely options, and there's other options in general... Do you have any advice? I feel personally responsible for her, now. I feel very strange, very strange about that." Venia says.

"Ah! The god-killing power. Ahaha... It has a creator. Said creator has a better claim to that than the abomination ever did, and given said creator was a godmodder... Well, they're traditionally atheist... The point is, well, I honestly don't know how I'm doing this, it's inherent to the weapon, but given that this is the god-killer here, I think it'd be pretty neat to know how to channel it on my own. I think we could learn together if we worked at it some!"

There it was again-Venia was abruptly self-conscious of it, like someone else took the wheel there, but at the same time, no, she just knew what to do. Ga'aunt said it was Pulchritude overwhelming her... Pulchritude. She didn't even really know what that was. Charisma? Really? An energetic form of personal charm? Perplexing.

Venia's train of thought was interrupted by a giant Yggcrawler going where it pleases. Venia swings her key in controlled panic towards the source. "... Oh, wow, that big dude is really pretty... Hey, wait. Wait! I think I saw something on his-oh god yes." Venia says, abruptly ecstatic. Oh, yes, it was him, wasn't it. The NaClestial! It was totally the NaClestial. Venia was in Mr. Krabs the last two times, but the NaClestial had her in utter hysterics. "Yo, Nia, I think there's an Eliti on that giant thing's back! And if that is what I think it is, well you just have to see this, it's honestly a side-splitter. Uh, wait, no, it actually isn't funny to Chloe as it nearly killed her. So I guess you can also get mad at it and revenge-kill it, again. He seems pretty impervious to dying even when we beat him. Ette, can you give me a nudge?"

Venia requests Ette to use Guiding Hand to push her to I12. Venia then jets to I15 and uses Skeletal Toss on the creature upon M18, grabbing it. If it is identified as the NaClestial, Venia chucks it strategically to M14 and then uses her 'remaining' tile of movement to shove it face-first into the water, attempting to get some sweet drowning damage. If it isn't the NaClestial, well, she'll make a judgement call after that whether or not to strategically drown the enemy, but they will still be on M14 afterwards. Her hat scans the nearby Magirifler, without the damage for once.

"Oh, Nia! Can you set up that super-strong Glacier Drop, uh, right in front of that guy's face?" Venia says, pointing at a space that game-wise could be said to be M16. "He's the kind of guy that's all 'defeat me in battle and you shall earn my loyalty rawwr' so go ahead! It'd be really annoying if he got onto the bridge."

Venia's really enjoying this Pulchritude power even if it is technically overwhelming her. Venia isn't actually sure she'd suggest to attack the massive Yggcrawler normally, but golly, it feels fun.

-ACACIA DUEL-

Venia feels considerably less fun now, though. She talks to Acacia, hopefully before she's out cold.. "You're asking how could I attack and take down Hersilia? Because YOU brought her to the duel to get attacked in the first place, Acacia! She'd just be tending to Neru if you didn't call on her, wouldn't she? She'd be totally safe and bullet-free, but you called her up here, and you didn't tell her to keep close to the group so she couldn't get shot at in the first place! We just took our opportunity. The reason why she's hurt? That's your fault!!"

"And, Acacia? I wouldn't question why people become healers if I were you. After all, your ability to kill people really doesn't matter to the people who WON'T DIE."

With Hex having done his duty and downed Acacia (hopefully), Venia motions to Marron and Keiko to back up. "He'll die again soon enough, let's just get ready to bring him back, again," She says, at an unusually loud tone. She communes to Marron to move to E16 and attack Keiko (hopefully with some restraint) to move her to adjacent to Marron at E15. Once this is done, Venia moves to F17 and uses Skeletal Toss on Keiko to move Keiko to G16, where she will presumably Meditate in peace.

"They either split up to attack Hex and advance on us, they advance on us alone, or keep close to take down Hex... Or Hex's frame blocked me from seeing a still-standing Acacia, but it'd take a lot of bad luck for that to not take care of her." Venia says. "Of course... We've been unlucky, so hopefully this'll be enough to force a pseudo-reset of the situation worst comes to worst."

In the alternate realm of NPC Jobs, Mr. Krabs approaches Chloe, who should have both of her timeslots ready. "Hello, lass! I need your help to fortify the house, in case of unruly customers. Can you help? I'll just get things started so you can lead on from there... And, let's not mess with the house itself, just yet. The Librarian lass may become... Unruly."

Mr. Krabs appears at the house, ready to prepare Fortifications for the worst. To start things out simply, and in a way that Omorika probably won't freak out over, Mr. Krabs heads over to the Forest Crossroads, takes out the Titanium Lumber Axe, and expands up to two uses chucking down a few trees, collecting the vines and wood that logically follow. The felled trees are picked up, suplexed, piledrived, and glitch bomb'd into large piles of splinters. Mr. Krabs then briefly traverses the Land of Sacks and Bags to quantum-throttle a sufficient number of sandbag-like bags to safely contain the splinters in, before doing the obvious and having the splinters be animated by a pied-piper esque figure to dance their way into the bags.

Once he has collected the sandbags, Mr. Krabs returns to Zone 0 and the house, and places them in staggered formation around the house, defensively-minded. He places quite a few near the back patio and the front regions of the house, but generally spreads them out well and equally. He's a bit more subdued than usual, you think.

But that's just because he's holding back the crazy for something else...

-AN IMPORTANT CALL-

After all Taser Turret related shenanigans cease and Mr. Krabs/Chloe are done fortifying the house (for now), Mr. Krabs takes the Mindscape Radio and makes a call to Glitch Temmie.

"hOi, Glitch Temmie! This is Mr. Krabs speaking," Mr. Krabs says. "How are ya? How did the Lucid hunt go?"

After all formalities are dispensed with, Mr. Krabs lunges at the heart of the matter. "So, tem. You recall the adventures those Descendants had within your lands that helped you establish your commercial empire? Well, I'm calling on their behalf for a favor. You recall where Xavier Elem used to live in the Mindscape, before he became a she and all that? I need you to search the house and its computers and transmit the data regarding 'Experiment 15' to us, as much as you can, if you can," Mr. Krabs says. "If the computers in the old house aren't available, there should be a USB stick marked with a skull that has his research on it; I'd ask Gladius and the Operative about that."

"Can ye do it?"

Maria's face lights up in comprehension, and then she frowns. "Aww, Venny said I can't talk about what happened before I came here with anyone! Oh, other than that I am a pretty princess with kitties."

"I believe I can speak on her behalf," says the creepy Kitsune who made her first motion all day-just to turn to Chaos and company and lock onto his face with the cold dead eyes it doesn't actually have at all. "The glorious head of House Hemmors and Emperor of Arterium has given me permission to speak freely on the matter to any entity considered 'friendly,' which you qualify as. As the Arterium Emperor's word is the highest, if you believe you would allow it, then I may speak on the matter. The information, at this point, is considered declassified and is safe to reveal to anyone."

Maria just turns to look at the weird 'totally-not-secretly-evil' fox thing and back at Chaos, and then just shrugs.

Packo moves to D6 (D8->C7->D6), and uses his weapon skill to knock Brute1 back a space, slamming it against the wall in A3.

Keiko snickers at the sudden failure of the opposing team in the duel. ”Yep. That’s the random number generator for you. Oh, how unfortunate it is…” She smugly replies. Keiko uses Mass Paper Printing to create a Cheap Shuriken for future use, then waits for everything on her team’s side to go down and meditates afterwards.

Meanwhile, in the Sequoia’s lake universe, Keiko moves to I10 and stays there for the moment since there isn’t much else to do.

Both Boshi and Hat Kid look up at the gargantuan being mere feet away from them, and just stare in awe, paying no mind to the guy nearby.

"(H-he's huge!)"

At this point, he's highly conflicted; does he help the dude near Bar'kwakh from becoming a fine mist of sap and possibly risk getting mulched himself, or does he ditch him and save himself? He knows no good will come out of him getting up there and pounding the fool into the dirt, so... Decisions, decisions...

He eventually decides to save him. He's got something he wants to do with Barkboi anyway.

Before Nidra acts, Boshi drinks from the Yggdrasil Vessel, Phase Shifts with Magirifle1, and uses Wallcracker on Bar'kwakh. He then accepts his probable fate of dying horribly.
