Nezira goes and buys a Duelist's Guard from the shop. She then decides to alter it a bit.

She buys three Galeforce Crystals from the Chaos Shop (30 Crafting Credits total) and grabs two Titanium Ingots from the Inventory, as well as a single Silver Ingot, a single Aurora Crystal, and a single Gaia Crystal. She tosses the titanium and most of the silver into a crucible with the Gaia Crystal and grabs the Aurora Crystal in a pair of tongs with 100% Fire Resistance, before melting the metals together by channeling mana into the crystal to increase and direct its heat. She pours the alloyed earth-infused metal over the Duelist's Guard, quickly shaping it around the shield to provide a little more heft to it, while also adding some interesting decorations and flourishes as the metal slowly cools. The earth infusement should provide a little extra protection when deflecting attacks with it. The remainder of the silver she tosses into a crucible along with the three Galeforce Crystals, melting them together and ending up with green-glowing silver infused with the power of wind. She carefully pours the silver into some of the decorations, filling them in and adding little windy flourishes to the design, and adding a little green-glowing circular rim around the main body of the shield, complete with a spiral inside. She then cracks the Aurora Crystal open and blasts the entire shield with its alloying heat, letting the wind magic seep into the rest of the shield and lighten it (and also improve counterattacks made with it), before infusing the fire into the shield as well to give a little strength and defense to the counter-strikes of whoever might take it up. (Hint: It's Chloe.)

Duelist's Guard upgraded to Swiftstrike Buckler!

-(1 DEF), -(x2 Slot). Parry Guard stays, of course, as does the (+1 AGI.)
Resistances are unaltered.
It'll get given to Chloe after this battle, replacing her How to Roll.

Let's make a Commissar's Hat!
I need more cannon fodder. Seeing that we have 200 Crafting Credits.
Buying 4 Spider Silk Spools with crafting credits, he sews the Commissar Hat, but it's right now just a hat. It needs some decorations, because we all know decorations make everything better.
Using some Soulblossom, I model a small little white airship onto the front of the hat.
Now I just need to finish the practical functions of the hat.
Using a Tattered Magical Totem, I inscribe an minor blood molding spell on to the hat, that would summon a seeker at the start of combat.

Hat: T3, Commissar's Hat "This hat even comes with your own personal cannon-fodder!" or something else, I'm not really good at thinking of fluff.

OK, the general thing is this: Monika, holder of the legendary Entropic Key, wishes to test out the 'Purge' mechanic upon the cornered Calypse but cannot find a way to do so easily. Most of the busywork is already being handled, so for everyone else, if you can reach Calypse, there's only one real thing to do: Explicitly use Restrained Blows on Calypse so Monika can secure the final blow..

Use what you used on Monika before to make her get more time, please!"

Comet gets a text. She frowns. You can't read it, but you'll get the idea. She grabs a Hunter's Mark, a bit of titanium and various electronic bits. I'll be real, I have no idea how to lore the Hunter's Mark, which apparently magically spawns eggs, into something that locates existing caches. So, Comet sacrifices the Hunter's Mark to some some of equivalent exchange. She then builds a the cache finder from scrap. It's actually a fairly simple device. All it does is receive signals from a bunch of caches that have apparently been here the whole time. A gift from...someone. She has no idea. Her employer, maybe? Maybe they hadn't completely abandoned her... The device doesn't even need a display, as it connects to her phone. Really, it's little more than a couple wires and an antenna. Comet checks it. Apparently there aren't any nearby... Huh. She puts it away for the time being.

I don't think there's much useful i can do given how far away all the enemies are, so I go to F12, spend 2 points on resourcefulness, and tear apart the speaker on 11F, for like speakerbits.

Miki exits the battle via E8, loads her new firmware, then sprints as fast as her projector can carry her in the direction of the Infusion Altar.

She picks up a Stick and places it on the central altar, then places four Greatwood Logs around it on the pedestals. She places two Aurora Crystals on two more pedestals, then activates the infusion. This creates a Seared Greatwood Wand.

She then picks up two Gold Ingots and molds them into caps, then places them on the Seared Greatwood Wand. They fit perfectly, creating a Gold Capped Seared Greatwood Wand.

Now, it's time to make this thing actually magical. So she places two Tattered Magical Tomes on the infusion table along with two Gaia Crystals and two Aurora Crystals, and infuses them into the Gold Capped Seared Greatwood Wand.

But of course, she's a hologram, and she needs data on her abilities. While tech and magic don't normally go together, Miki doesn't really care, so she goes ahead anyway. She picks up a Circuit Board, infuses it with a Tattered Magical Tome, and combines the resulting Circuit of Praecantatio with a second Circuit Board that happens to have a Bluetooth transceiver on it and 6 Wire Scraps to create a Bluetooth-enabled Praecantatio Circuit.

She also picks up a LED Display and connects it to the Praecantatio Circuit, then binds it to the Awakened Seared Greatwood Wand, creating...

The Elektromagie 1.

Zahlia appears at Altar Isle, and decides to place her hand on Altar Isle's namesake, along with a Nidus Warframe. The entire altar begins to glow a gentle red... before abruptly stopping, the light being sucked back in. A red light rapidly flashes around the hand of the Nidusframe, before a surge of energy promptly launches the frame across the room. Curious. Perhaps it only accepts certain people?

...Meanwhile, Zahlia finds that her hand is stuck to the altar, held in place by an invisible force. It looks like she's forced to be part of this experiment now! Nezira then tosses 75 Credits at YV and 30 Crafting Credits at Chaos for materials, before taking 2 Titanium, 1 Silver, 1 Aurora Crystal, and 1 Gaia Crystal. She tapes these all together to create the Swiftstrike Buckler!

CHLOE: W-Whoa! Nez, you're really good at this whole crafting thing!
CHLOE: I don't really have much experience with shields, though. Let alone these sorta "parrying bucklers". I'm sure I'll learn, though!

Chloe grins excitedly as she takes the Buckler from Nezira, preparing to equip it when she gets the chance. Meanwhile, Daskter makes something for himself, using 45 Crafting Credits for 3 Spider Silk Spools, 3 Soulblossoms, and 1 Tattered Magical Tome to create the Commissar's Hat! This also consumes a Crafting Charge on the Temmie Ears. Fortunately(?), the ears don't actually stick out of the hat.

Comet then slaps together a charge of the physical manifestation of having the ability to locate eggs in their natural habitat, 2 Titanium, 5 Wire Bits and 2 Circuit Boards to create the Cache Finder! Another item is then made; the Elektromagie 1, using 1 Stick, 3 Greatwood Logs, 2 Circuit Boards, 1 LED Display, 2 Aurora Crystals, 1 Tattered Magical Tome, 2 Gold Ingots, 2 Gaia Crystals, and 3 Wire Scraps. Looks like she used so much material that the universe gave her a decently-sized discount.

JOE then harvestplants the Aurora Crystals and Crystal Pens, obtaining a net gain of 21 Aurora Crystals and 15 Crystal Pens. In addition, a crystal mutates into existence; the Ignis Inkwell! That's a fancy, non-crystal name. I'd give it a solid 7 / 10.

Omo's taken a hit from the Rifleman, and probably can't survive another shot. Fortunately, the rifler will need to move and attack to kill her, so she's actually technically safe if she stands right there. Anyway, go and eliminate the enemy! Seize victory! Or just hold out, since that's what you're meant to do.

The Hall has been cleared out! Not only do you have an additional skillpoint, but you've received an interesting selection of items! Take a look around; maybe you'll find something you like? You've also completed a wide array of Achievements, granting even more items! How lovely.

...Also, the Entropic Key was used against Calypse. Its powers seemed to have disabled Calypse in some way. It now rests within the inventory, still alive. Just what did the key do...?

...To celebrate the completion of the battle, Chloe and Marron equip the Swiftstrike Buckler and the Needler Rifle respectively. They both seem somewhat satisfied with their new loadouts. Why not give Ette some love, and give her something nice? Marron seems especially happy, looking at her now...
