With Omo, Auth laughs slightly.

uA: You could ask them, but I was personally thinking of somebody else. You may recall that someone patched a video of us fighting... somebody, I think it was WARE but I could be remembering it wrong. She's my friend, and I believe she was present from the beginning of the... adventure, I guess. I could ask her if she'd be willing to have a word. No promises, though.[/b]

Auth thinks to himself, loud enough for others to hear.

Auth fiddles with the Mindscape Radio, before trying some names within the system. He just wants to see who he might be able to contact.

Battle

Once more in battle, Auth is raised into the air with that spotlight effect, and once again, five wings of light connect to his back. It seems that it's only five because of the wing he already has. As well, a halo appears again. Teag is revived in a flash of light, with bonus Damage to boot.

In case you're wondering what to do this turn, a general gist:
-Move off of any Blue Geo Tiles. We've got someone popping the Null Geo providing the clone effect to those tiles, and if you do not get off that's an unavoidable 20% of your MHP as damage.
-Kill Calypse2! its on the backline so that ought to be easy. Ish.

Venia sticks to her current location, gripping her chest as her special charges to full-and then some. Somehow. Isn't she already dual-wielding? "Everyone get off the Blue tiles! Get off, now!"

Venia then moves to E17 and pulls out the Shadowcaster Umbra. Right before she fires it, however, she kind of... fizzes out? Like a blurry filter got applied to her body. She shakes it off-literally-sending negligable bits of blurred matter every-which-way, onto the walls, onto the floor, and right onto the face of that Seer she was lining up. "Oh, no no no no no... Calm, Venia, Calm." She says, mostly to herself.

She whips out the bow, as if forgetting about the seer for the moment, then picks out the Patche from the backlines instead. Mr. Krabs abruptly appears out of nowhere and waves his claws at the Patche, all 89 of them, creating a confusing diversion that enables Venia to line up her shot properly and slam the arrow as directly into the Patche as she can. "You stupid, crazy things, just, GET OUT!"

Venia's fists clenched (and lacking retreat), she stands her ground, save to allow Simeon to stand on her back for his actions. "...Everyone, keep pushing forwards!... Yes, while you're dealing with the other Calypse back there! There's still more stuff to put down up ahead!"

She acts last and meditates. This will give her Empowered3 and 25 SP on top of normal effects. She'll also cap out planning at the end of the turn, so that's neat.

All the holograms fizzle out at once, replaced by a different hologram of a girl who seems... really familiar, yet totally different.

Still worried, she jumps off Boshi, activating Deadly Duality! Hat Kid appears at (N22), ready to... uh... cute some people to death... or something.

(HAPPENS AFTER THE NEST DIES)

Boshi moves to (J23) (Wallclimb, baby!) and fires NorthWest, which should hit the Raider, Nest, Calypse, and the Geo Book.

Depending on how Hat Kid is handled, she moves to (K20) and baps one of the Jugglers twice with her umbrella. Or just stays put if summoning sickness is a thing.

Daskter opts to help finish off his weapon design, using 2 Titanium... and he's certain he'll need more for a complex rifle like this, so the universe eats 30 credits in compensation. The Air Controller is completed! She then asks him how they're both working on this.

CHLOE: I...
CHLOE: I have no idea.

A paradox Chloe poofs in a puff of logic, leaving only the Chloe on the battlefield. Anyway, Air Controller complete! Auth then talks with Pip. He tries to explain that he's just being practical.

PIP: Hm.
PIP: Why not just get one of your clones to battle in your place?
PIP: Clones are sketchy.

It seems like they really, really won't budge until Auth comes in person. Or someone who isn't a weird, inky clone. Auth then collects his trinket from Marron, obtaining the Void Catalyst!

MARRON: Is it how you imagined it? I like to think I have an eye for these things, but I have no idea...
MARRON: Maybe it needs a flavortext change. You can do that, apparently. Whatever that means.

Auth then recommends someone to Omo. She shrugs.

OMORIKA: Anyone who could give me more insight as to what happened there would be appreciated. Any friend of yours would work, likely...
OMORIKA: Thank you for your help, though. You have no idea what I'd go through to write a nice prologue.
OMORIKA: Even if you lack much information on what happened within the Mindscape, I'd enjoy your feedback. Every little footnote helps the story.

Auth then randomly tries picking names within the system. He calls Mindscape Chloe first. She picks up rather quickly. She sounds considerably more mature than the Chloe he knows now- probably comes with the whole "living in a hellscape" thing and with the fact that she's in a relationship.

GLADIUS: hold on oppy, just gotta answer this-
GLADIUS: ...Auth? Is that you?
GLADIUS: Oh my gosh! It's been a long, long time! How have you been? Where are you? How is everyone? Auuuugh, there's just so much I wanna say!

He can hear another voice in the background. While he can't make it out, its definitely there.

GLADIUS: Sorry, we're going hunting. Temmie is paying us some Gold to go and start tracking down this creature tem's called "Lucid". No idea what it is, but Oppy and I are ready!
GLADIUS: So, I can talk for a bit! So... h-how's it going?

The other calls give nothing, except Glitch Temmie. Tem goes on to list a couple of the newcomers- they're mostly Eliti, but among them are projections of Willow, Salix, Clausa, and Taeda. Nothing too interesting there. A Nidus Warframe then decides to exist at Altar Isle, and sticks his hands into both slots of the altar. Nothing happens. You probably need two distinctive people- players, probably. Miki-Chan33 then takes over the main consciousness of the Holographic Projector, booting out the other holos. Name changed (once i get confirmation on something)! I assume the trait will be changing, as well? This doesn't really count as an Identity Crisis, by the way.

JOE then harvestplants the Gaia Crystals and the Silkweed, obtaining 6 net Gaia Crystals and 18 net Silkweed. Maybe you should start planting other things, just as a note? You have quite a bit of Silkweed, and you won't be running out of Gaia Crystals any time soon, I feel.

<OWOQUEST, ROUND FOUR>
The first battle has been completed! A new chapter has been unlocked! As for your rewards for completing the battle, you've obtained 250 Credits, a Triangle Coupon, and the Replica Aegis, a neat weapon.

<GRAND HALL ROUTE, ROUND FIVE>
Looks like Calypse (one of them, the other is dead) is on the ropes! Push in and dispose of the remaining Calypse, and victory will be yours! The other Iti are totally optional, but maybe you want to build up SP. Who knows. After this, you'll be able to push forward to the boss!
