Brutishace realizes that he's needed elsewhere!

However, on his way to the Entryway, he decides that Superinfect doesn't really suit his playstyle. He quickly learns up on his spellcraft and replaces it with Twin Eclipses- a handy damage spell to have at range.

Brutishace waves farewell to Pip and darts to the battle in the Entryway, spawning in at C8 and moving up to E8. He fires his Slayer Pistol at the third Pageling, aiming for its vitals to inflict as much damage as possible.

Calibri chuckles quietly to himself.

"Guess this place has seen better days... Maybe once we're done with the sphere and all that, one or two of the more book-minded people would like to help restore it. Bound to be someone in the party who feels up to the task... Heh."

There's a pause. He proceeds to wander off north, checking to make sure Taeda's still with him, then he glances off to the entryway.

"Oh. That's a battle. Should we go... do something about that?"

If Taeda indicates yes, Calibri just wanders over to the battle in the entryway, spawns at V10, and waits for Taeda to join him. It makes sense that they'd both appear from the right hand side, okay, that's literally the direction they'd approach from. If other players voice objection to this spawn location... IDK, teleport Calibri and Taeda over to C9 and "roughly nearby" respectively. :v

Of course, if Taeda indicates no, Calibri just shrugs and decides to stick around with her. Best to make sure there's no chance of her being ambushed.


Meanwhile, at the house, EN pauses for a moment... then shakes her head.

"Well. Ah'm sure th' Reisz corpse shoul' take care o' yer excuse needs, heh. Jus' in case it ain't enough, though, well. From what ah've 'eard, she spawned a bunch a' hounds durin' 'er battle, so."

EN proceeds to reach into the inventory, rummage around a bit, and if it's possible for her to do so, she pulls out a pair of dead Iti hounds (or equivalent in samples or whatever stupid requirement items) and offers it to the chairian trio, just to help further the proof.

"Some 'ounds. Or, well, y'know. Hound parts, maybe. Ah'd give y'all somethin' tha' Reisz 'erself left behind, but... well. Dunno 'ow t' ask Calibri abou' doing that. He... kinda 'ad a fierce rivalry with 'er for a bit."

Toast silently nods to Chaos when he tells her to look after Marron. He also mentions coffee
"You know, some coffee might actually be nice. I'll take three."
She hands over the credits, before hastily adding, "...They aren't all for me, I just have a feeling that we'll need some soon."

Marron also mentions Toast's 'wings'. Not directly, but still.
"My wings...? Oh right! Radiance!"
Toast thinks hard for a moment.
"...I think I gave them to Alt when she left? I'm not sure; it was a while ago."
Toast pauses for another moment.
"I actually kinda miss Alt... she was cool. Not sure if I'll ever meet another alternate self like her.
But... thanks. I've never really celebrated my birthday much, since, well, I had no-one to celebrate with. It means a lot to be able to celebrate it with you."

"...Although, you're still kind of burned, so try not to wince too much."
She takes one of the Salves from Chaos, and begins applying it to Marron's burns. Even if it hurts. Tough love. Unless she's already been healed or something. Then I guess she won't do that.

Future!Toast, who reappeared in the bedroom earlier, wakes up. Not much of a nap- but then again, it wasn't really a nap. She rubs her eyes with her hoodie.
"Bluh. Remind me not to do that again... me."
She looks around, stows the hoodie in her bag, and meets back at the Dueling Hut. Toast then heads back in time, after explaining that she's simply closing a time loop. Time loop closed. Woot.

Pionobot puts 5 points into SPC, taking 1 point out of HP.

Pionobot spawns on V6, using comet's teleporter if necessary.

He then quickly takes a sheet of cardboard, the searing powder, and the galeforce crystal, and wraps them all up in a nice bow, after some fiddling with the magical aura of the galeforce crystal using his elemental prowess of course to make it detonate larger when the bomb goes off.. Say hello to the first Elemental searing bomb, through the use of magical pioneering and cardboard, we can take elemental crystals and use them to at least partially change the damage type of searing bombs!

I take the air searing bomb and lob it at Breaker 2.

<ROUND FIFTY-FOUR>
To start this update off, v1.1.2 has been released! A few small changes for consistency, and anti-shield / armor tech.

Krabs rotates Cure for Watchful Eye, and his UNBORING Splintercast for the Killer Bow. He then gives Chaos 100 Credits to clone the Cultist Card Deck, which succeeds! He then does something, and plays a non-standard card game with the CORPORATECLUSTERTRUCK. The cards feel unloved given the whole slew of other game implements, and promptly commit suicide, especially given that Krabs just tore a bunch of them up. They explode, releasing 5 Flux. Krabs then attempts to research the Twisted Rose, but the GM pulls a fast one on him and reveals that Flux is now a currency. A strange one, but still a currency.

Terry +1's his HP, and rotates his Trinket for the Deviant Radio. Simeon follows suit, +1ing his RES, rotating his Soulseeker Resistance to Dark, and re-equipping Griever before even using the Pike in combat. Simeon then asks Pip what her friend looks like.

PIP: She... hold on.

She pulls out a seeker from the pile she's sitting on. She shoves her hand into the back of its head, and it seems to begin to speak.

SEEKER: She looks like someone who sucks up to subculture gorillas-

From about 4 rooms away, a salvo of three bullets pieece the head of the Seeker, which goes limp in her hands and dies. Pip tosses it back into the pile.

PIP: She looks like me, but smaller.
PIP: Follow that gunshot and you'll fight find them.
[small][small]PIP: GM missed a few buttons. Blame them.[/small][/small]

Zahlia meanwhile, rolls intimidate on the Coat Check clown.

BASS CLOWN: Nope.
BASS CLOWN: You're probably some unimportant side-character, though.
BASS CLOWN: I only sell items to REAL people. Yeah. Get outta here.

Teag +2's his SPC, and Auth +2's his STR. Destiny goes beyond just +1ing her SPC and SKI, and upgrades her Hookshot Daggers into the Enchanted Hookshot Daggers using 2 Silver, 2 Gold, 1 Galeforce Crystal and 1 Shadow Crystal. For good measure, the universe shunts a chunk of Durasteel in there as well. Daskter +2's his RES, modifies his resistances, and then updates his best into the Tacticool Vest using 2 Titanium and 2 Refined Wood. JOE then replants a vague but probably 9 amount of Silkweed, and plants a Perditio Crystal in a mini Crystillery... which promptly unexists and spits the crystal out into the inventory. That'd effectively be growing the size of the Crystillery by 1, and is slightly hacking. He also tries to grab the Thyme Crystals, but is incapable of fording the pool of Thyme Matter.

Boshi +1's SPC. The Man +2's his STR. He then does a TRIPLE CRAFT... flopping the first one as it's not properly explained and also has some busted abilities. (Does it work like the Judo Scroll in which you get free actions? Why can it both revive and instakill? Why does it have so many random elements? It's a cool concept though; maybe get people in #theorycrafting to help with it?)

His other two crafts go far better, yielding the Perfectly Dark Sunglasses and the Tacticool Turtleneck. This burns 2 Iron, 2 Titanium, 2 Shadow Crystals, 1 Silkweed, 1 Processed Fabric, and 10 Goneblossoms total. He then explores to the East, finding even more sewer dungeon. Aren't we glad we have one of those now, after Chaos missed out on such a staple of dungeon tropes? Comet then -2's her HP, -1's her DEF and +5's her AGI, before upgrading her Aeraskates to completely drop STR scaling. This uses 2 Skyroot Logs.

Monika swaps to the Entropic Key. Brutishace swaps for Twin Eclipses. Emerald +2's his HP. Zedros +1's his INT and MP. Irongutta +1's his SKI. Calibri then offers to take Taeda up north.

TAEDA: S-Sure! I'll do my best to help you!

EN and Mr. Krabs, meanwhile, decide to gift Reisz's corpse to the Chairian Trio. They stare in awe at the body.

WILLOW: Whoa, we've got some sorta warrior gods over here!
WILLOW: TWO whole Eliti dead? Damn, that's more than any one group's ever taken out!
SALIX: Really? You'd give this to us for our alibi?
SALIX: I'm... not sure how to properly express my gratitude.
SALIX: Thank you both.
CLAUSA: This means we get to live now, whew...
CLAUSA: A-Anyway... G-Goodbye! Good luck with whatever it is y-you're doing!
WILLOW: What he said! See-ya!
SALIX: Goodbye. And really... thanks.

They take Reisz's corpse (they don't bother with the hounds), and haul it off with them towards the Citadel itself. Bergilmir +1's his STR and INT, and then makes an attempt to cheer up Marron. While she doesn't say much, she smiles gently.

MARRON: ...
MARRON: T-Thanks.
MARRON: I-If you're fine with training someone like me, I'd be up for the training.
MARRON: Anything to get even a floor closer to the level of you guys...

Toast then does a few things. First, she purchases 3 Cups of Coffee from Chaos, expending 60 Credits in the process. She then talks with Marron about Alt and her birthday.

MARRON: I-I kinda miss Alt, too...
MARRON: Alt was cool. You are Alt. Therefore, both of you are cool.
MARRON: Heh...
MARRON: W-Wait, have you really never celebrated your birthday? That's simply unacceptable!
MARRON: I should bake you a cake at some point. Or a cinnamon roll. I dunno- just something that'd make you happy!
MARRON: A-All I really wanna do right now is spend time with you. It means a whole bunch!

Toast then notes her burns, and loots the 10 Salves that Chaos dropped, along with the 100 Crafting Credits. She then promptly uses 2 units of Salve on Marron, rubbing it all over her burns. She grunts and winces as the medicine does its work.

MARRON: ow ow ow ow

Auth also asks for permission to help. Marron nods gently, but shows confusion over the praise she's getting.

MARRON: D-Did I really do t-that good, though?
MARRON: I was t-the first to go down...

After a few somewhat painful moments of salve-application and ink-based treatment, Marron looks good as new, her burns and bruises a distant memory. She gives a happy sigh as she stands herself up, taking time to pluck Ette off of the ground. Marron takes a moment to stretch, raising one arm over her head and grabbing her elbow with the other. There's a gentle cracking sound as she stretches her joints.

MARRON: Ah...
MARRON: Almost feels like I wasn't brutally beaten earlier...
MARRON: Anyway, Toast, Auth... let's go and do something!
MARRON: I wanna go and... j-just... dunno, do something!
MARRON: Like for instance... uh, whatever the hell you're doing on this planet! Adventure or something. Bake a cake. Pester Chloe, if you're into that. I dunno!

Toast then decides to perform a complete respec, shuffling her spells, trait, and special! To round off the... round, Piono +5's his SPC and -1's his HP, then creates an Aeroblast Bomb using some Searing Powder, a sheet of cardboard, and a Galeforce Crystal (-10 Credits). No entry is added for it in the inventory as this is most likely a one-time thing, but it will be used in combat.

Krabs, Terry, Simeon, Auth, Destiny, Daskter, Boshi, Comet, Nezira, Brutishace, Zedros, Calibri, Irongutta, Piono, and Taeda all waltz into the Entryway. A brawl is surely brewing!

<THE ENTRYWAY, ROUND TWO>
Sorry for how long this took to get out! Anyway, the Naclestial has made his triumphant return! His stats are different this time around, so take a look? It seems to be more of the same, save for that "on death" passive. Be careful with it! Odds are, you won't really be able to play around it. So... just sorta embrace it. Alternatively, you could save the Naclestial for last, but that's incredibly lame. Plus, who couldn't resist making a salty boy saltier?

Emerald notes the training of Marron, and [insert fancy verb for moving here] over with her, (flavor text wise, not actually swapping) for a normal stick ”I can help out too, for if you want practice with getting through highly durable foes, such as myself.”

Emerald then uses the magic of “changing his Trait” from “Blocking LoS for explosions, and charges” to “Emerald acts as cover with a DGE boost of X”, keeping the HP->DEF boost

He also spawns in at D7, moves to F6, consumes the Breaker corpse, and thwacks the Pageling3 with a basic attack

Simeon glides his way around the Pageling to G8, and swipes swipes randomly at the air. At the same time, Pageling3 is split in half. He then shuffles to I7.

"Oh, it's you!" he shouts towards the NaClestial. "Here to get beaten again? Well, I wont stop you. YO, OBSERVER! WILL YOU BE OUR EYEWITNESS?" he waves for the Observer, and flashes it a thumbs up.

Zahlia regards the clown, as if they were a corpse that had just sprouted an extra head.
“Fine then," she eventually says. "I won't go to your party. It's won't be that great anyways."
As she skitters away, the carpet that the Dark Carnival had worked oh so hard on reweaves itself together.
She then approaches Chloe. "Don't worry, I'm just going to attend to your injuries," she says. "First off, let's get somewhere we can sit down." Zahlia leads Chloe inside the library and to one of the desks, where she unwraps the bandages to take a closer look.
"Let's see," she mutters to herself as she cleans the area around the wounds. "Sacrificial dagger, and... flaming beanbags? Yep, typical Dark Carnival style, always mixing business with pleasure."
She looks up. "Get ready, this is going to feel a bit strange."
Zahlia runs a finger over Chloe's injuries. The stab wound reseals itself immediately,, and the burns quickly fade. There is no evidence that anything happened in the first place."There! Good as new!" she says.

Auth facepalms as Omo explains the joke.

uA: You certainly got me, I was completely unaware that it was a joke. I thought you were serious...

Then, his feet get tangled and he falls on his face trying to move.

uA: Ouch. This wasn't there before, I swear.

He carefully stands back up, and fires a glare at the Trickster trapping him. Omo says she'll send help, which causes Auth to give a sigh of relief.

uA: Many thanks, Lady Omorika.

Auth then whips out the Scanner, and aims it at the Trickster in front of him. If he can't move and using Overwrite is wasteful, he will at least do this.

Auth scans the Trickster!

uA: Ah. Back again, are you? Decided you didn't have enough after the remarkably thorough thrashing we gave you last time? Such foolhardiness. It seems we must teach you another lesson you won't soon forget.

Auth snarks as the NaCelestial arrives. Then he has a thought, and waves to Omo.

uA: Er, have you heard anything from Lady Acacia since yesterday evening? We had an encounter with her, and some Rebels showed up, and send a large number of Iti chasing after her after we had defeated Neru... and we are unsure of her safety. It causes me, at least, a good deal of concern that we don't know if she's OK.

Meanwhile, with Marron, Auth smirks as Marron volunteers to help with whatever they're doing on this planet.

uA: Well... how would you like to, with no exaggeration, help us save the universe?

He grins, and says a bit more.

uA: I was serious about how well you did, Marron. You orchestrated the entire thing, which proves that you do have a talent for it. Perhaps with some more practice, you'll be a masterful tactician. Head high, Marron. I swear, you did well.

He sits quietly (and follows along if Toast and Marron leave). He considers mentioning when his birthday is... but he hates his birthday. Singles Discrimination Day is both the worst day on the planet and his birthday.

Suddenly in Destiny place a wild Javlyn appears. I watch both the Javlyn and the Pageling get shocked by Zedros lighting weapon, then I spring into action. Shooting at the Javlyn who's probably going to retaliate and is also having a bad day, this should end his misery.

"Too bad Javlyn you shouldn't be buffing yourself so close to the frontlines"

Kokichi rummages through the inventory and equips a probably illegal Airsoft Paintball Gun (reskinned Ink Charger).

He pulls out his stolen Kubz Pad and sees that he has one skill point. Figuring that the smart choice would be to get rid of his negative RES or DEF, he instead makes the Kokichi choice and puts it into SPC.

Kokichi moves down to the Dueling Hut and gives Marron a trolling with (to be added later) before going and investigating what’s to the right of the hut.

After snooping around in there, Kokichi makes his way into the Whispering Library, and spawns at C10, nee-hee-hee'ing his way over to E11, firing a high speed burst of paintballs at Breaker1.
