Simeon sucks in his breath. "Really, poison?" he asks the Nest. "AGH. It feels like thousands of burrowing microbees, just what even is this stuff?"
The Nest stares intently.
"Oh, right, you're just a mindless beast, trying to kill something in a tree. I wonder if you know that there's more to life than just killing."
Silence.
"I mean, just because you're good at something, doesn't mean that you have to do it, right?"
More Silence.
"Are you even listening to me? JOE, are you almost done? Have I distracted this thing long en-"
At that moment, JOE does his thing, which is, i.e, assuming Trion Form, forming Scorpion, slashing the distracted Nest, and following up with a use of the Elemental Blaster.
"Woah. Nice Combo, I like that sword," says Simeon, flashing a thumbs up. "Thirty-Six out of Thirty-Six. My turn!"
He shifts from his tree to E12, and from this new point, he performs a cut at Nest 1. If the Iti is downed by this strike, a cut also forms on Hound 2.

If possible, he +2s his RES and sets the Magical Resistance of the Soulseeker to Electric as a free action.

Oh, and at the same time, a large pincer emerges from the water at the River Crossing, grabs the Pinati and drags it into the water. After 20 seconds, the Pinati resurfaces and gasps for breath. The pincer is nowhere to be seen.

Weird.

Mr. krabs didn't relaize he coudl somehow murder the Pinati without being anywhere near it's general vicinity. Or should we say, General Viciniti?!

General Viciniti, who is an Iti that is simultaniously a USSR-era gerneral, bursts out of the ground the Pinati is at, and demands that the Pinati allow General Viciniti to sieze the means of production. The Pinati cannot talk so General Viciniti declares it a traitorous capitalist dog and puts a leash on the Pinati of excessive tightness. The good General proceeds to take the Pinati on a walk, with it as General Viciniti's shoes. The walk lasts 5.8 hours and ends when General Viciniti is brutally eviscerated by Ronald McDonald Saint of Capitalism, who decides that the Pinati is a communist dog and proceeds to 'teach him the wonders of free trade' by stuffing the Pinati with 5 million Big Macs, then charging it 10 million dollars, because that's fair exchange.

The Pinati barfs. It barfs and it barfs and it barfs and it cannot stop barfing, it has turned into a barfularity, which is an endless font of gastric acid that refuses to keep down, ever. The Pinati takes off like a rocket, flying right out of the Thymefield and out of this universe, being ravaged by the void until it comes to an abrupt stop, right into the face of The Real Slim Shady, Agent of the Conflict. Because of The Real Slim Shady's powers, the Pinati begins to belive it is The Real Slim Shady, and proceeds to put on gangster ware, disregarding for a moment its endless stream of barf, and attemtps to rap through the barf. The resulting mixture of vomit and rhyme incites every DJ in the Multiverse into collectively gathering and murdering the Pinati (The Real Slim Shady, for his part, has opted to leave this disgusting scene), before returning to their respective universes, while the Pinati's endless stream of barf propels the broken thing back to the Thyme Field, smashing it right down where it started with a sickening crunch.

In its final act of attempting to live, it somehow manages to barf up the barfularity, and succeeds, creating a hole in space-time so the barfularity can find its real home in the elemental plane of vomit, where it turns into an Elemental Titan. The Pinati then expires, exploding into copious amounts of L00T.

Okay, is Hound2 alive? If it is, Calibri moves to G8 and shoots it. If it's not, uh... I dunno. Reisz should be in range, so he could just shoot her instead, maybe. After that, he ducks to F7, given that it's probably fairly safe there unless someone deliberately goes hunting him down. Although that could also be something beneficial for him, in a way... Maybe just see if the Iti could be jebaited over...

Meanwhile, back at the house, EN shrugs at the chairian trio.

As for Verdana, he remains on the couch for a while longer, then throws himself up onto his feet and wanders off. Namely, to the kitchen. Which is probably where Chloe still is, right? Upon arrival, he speaks up.

"Yeah, quite a few people ran off to the library. Probably. I haven't gone with them, as is obvious by my being here and not with them! But not everyone went there. Marron and Ette and a few others went south to resolve... something I have nothing to do with and know less about, and Calibri and some of the others went off to go fight Reisz! I saw his expression before he teleported away. Looked mad about something."

Beat.

"Oh, breakfast was pancakes! Marron made them. They're still warm! I think everyone who wanted one has had one by now, probably. Calibri didn't have one, and neither did I, so there's probably enough to go around still... Want one?"

Verdana proceeds to pull out a pancake on a plate, somehow, then offers it to Chloe with an expectant stare.

<ROUND FORTY-NINE>
Piono opts to simply just shove the floating book into his inventory. 1 Geo Book (Red) obtained! It goes into the "What" category of consumables. Piono then takes some time to completely remove the damage he's taken, with some assistance from Destiny. JOE then attempts to persuade Chaos to be helpful, but finds that he's talking to a Shopkeeper Drone! It hovers away, disinterested. JOE then drops a variety of items at the Pinati, including a log, a spoon, a helmet, some Egg Barriers, the Gallow Egg-

*CRACK*

Despite being "resilient", it is still an egg. The egg deals minimal damage to the Pinati, then falls to the ground and cracks somewhat. Thyme Matter drips out the crack. The falling objects end up dealing (12+3) damage to the Pinati! Daskter then modifies his Magical resistance to be against Psychic, before exploring to the east of the Library Tunnels. It seems like somebody has set up a small base of sorts here. It's not a very GOOD base, but it's still a base. Actually, that "somebody" is most likely those cultists over there, who are speaking very, very loudly. Something about tickets...?

Monika then punches the Barrier with her gauntlet. Her hand hurts afterwards, and the barrier is still standing. Then, her Gauntlet fires a quick burst of crimson energy at it, cracking the barrier in two. The barrier is slain. Destiny then goes to loot the Chairian body... but decides that literally stuffing the body into the inventory is too disrespectful. Plus, she probably meant "loot its possessions", so instead she takes 100 Credits from their pockets, as well as a Darkmatter Cluster. Okay, that cluster probably didn't belong to them, but it was stuck in their torso. The Man then goes to harvest more Gold, but is only able to get 2 more chunks before the stench completely gets to him, forcing a tactical retreat out of the hole. His hands are now afflicted with "Smelling Bad".

Simeon then attempts to set his RES, and fails due to currently being in combat. His resistance setting also fails, but his Character Sheet decides to update both anyway for when he exits the battle. He then somehow gets a pincer to attack the Pinati, drowning it for about (10+3) damage! It violently spins about afterwards, sending droplets of water everywhere. Mr. Krabs then extinguishes the "capitalist dog", slaying the Pinati! It blows into 200 Credits and 32 Samples! In addition, it drops 5 Gold Ingots, 3 Silver Ingots, 2 vials of Holy Dew, a Shrapnel Popper, a bottle of Chairian Brew, and a Triangle Emporium Coupon!

EN and Verdana then socialize. EN explains Chaos's presence.

SALIX: Really? A creature like that, selling items?
WILLOW: That'd explain the "advertisement drones"...

Clausa then timidly speaks up, EN barely being able to hear him.

CLAUSA: ...Is it true that you guys killed the gh... t-the Gallow?
CLAUSA: Word's been getting out about y-your exploits.
WILLOW: Yeah, they have! I think you guys are awesome, and I'm sure some of our comrades think so too...
WILLOW: ...but some people are scared stiff at the fact that you were able to rip it to bits.
WIlLOW: And then some people just don't believe the rumors, but I think they're true!

Verdana then meets up with Chloe, and explains the lack of people.

CHLOE: Well, that explains the total absence of people...
CHLOE: Ah, maybe I should go and visit the Library? I should be able to find my way there. Feels like it's cold out, so I should get my hoodie before I go...
CHLOE: ...and find a way to wash my clothes. I don't have another set prepared. Maybe I can afford to be frugal, but... the idea just sorta disgusts me.

She then eagerly wolfs down the provided pancake, downing it along with a glass of juice from earlier. She wipes off her mouth with her arm, and gives a small smile to Verdana.

CHLOE: Hey, thanks for the meal! I really needed that, eheheh...
CHLOE: ...C-Could you send Marron my kudos? I-I doubt she'd be very receptive if I told her myself...

With her meal done, she stands up, thanks Verdana again whilst stretching, then heads out along the road to the Chairian Grand Library. By some miracle (read; gameplay mechanics) she finds her way to the front of the library. Once there, she stands idle, just taking in the sights...

CHLOE: Heya, Author!
CHLOE: ...That's your name, right? Yesterday's still a blur, hahahaha...
CHLOE: Anyway... could I just sorta follow you? For safety reasons.

Reisz is pretty vulnerable right now, but not exactly stuck. Her current minions aren't much of a threat, so perhaps now it'd be time to go and break Reisz's neck? I mean, she probably doesn't NEED the neck to survive, but it'd be nice to give her some serious neck pain.

Well, at the very least, you have Marron worried! Toast is stuck behind Marron's back lines though, so maybe try and rescue her from a puppet pummeling? Alternatively, focus down the Saber- now would be a good time to dispose of such an offensive powerhouse!

meanwhile outside of battle, I need a way to apply a lot of heat to a smaller area. so instead of trying to mcgyver a solution, i check how people do it in real life. smort.
I proceed to get border to give me some firebrick, fit it into the bottom of my pot as tightly as possible,make a second, smaller pot, put this one in the big pot, give border a greatwood log (mostly to bribe them into helping me), take a bunch of charcoal from border, fill the space between the pot and the smaller pot with charcoal, cut a small hole in it, attach a pipe, stick a galeforce crystal on it to provide constant wind so this fuel burns efficiently (sidenote: charcoal is better then coal for this), stick the furnace in the ground somewhere (let's say near the crystaliary place), and look at that! a furnace that would actually work in real life for anything that melts at temperatures over 1,260 °C, which is very hot so that should be most things we encounter.
