We have some brand new real genuine Minecraft maps for all of you to play, and completing them will be a fully integrated and necessary-for-progression system in the game for all players! Talist, the team's minecraft map creator, has been enlisted to create maps for us all to play, at a rate of 1 per week!
Talist agreed to all of this ahead of time, and if you hear any complaints from him, then his account has been hacked. Please mock the hacker mercilessly, or receive a citation.
What? One map per week? You said it was per month! And I'd get +10 per turn for doing it! This wasn't the original de- *GURK*
Okay, don't worry. I killed the imposer and reclaimed my computer. I might be a little late, but Tal-Co industries is proud to present the 3rd IRM event! Sponsored by TT Productions Inc. Make sure to take lots of screen shots to prove you actually did something.
I intended for this to be a throw away thing I'd finish in 10 minutes, but I actually ended up putting some effort into it and making a rather fun little game. ... I also wonder if this is going to be completely broken.
So I have an official look for Redstone. I actually had this look in mind for over a year now.
There he is in all his glory.
The gold thing on his chest is a huge "R", if any of you were wondering.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
To take the test, check out http://minecraftnoobtest.com/test.php
Now, I really don't want to stroke any vitrol or anything, but next turn is basically a dummy turn. This is because what happens IN that turn-a FATE-is major enough that it RADICALLY changes the field situation, introducing no less than 8 major entities that will demand your attention-and that's counting flowey. Having you all preemptively wail on OF when you may want to instead take care of the OTHER seven new monstrosities is probably gonna ruin your life, or at least make you sour.
On the flipside if this turn comes out late then you have permission to find me just to kick me. Seriously, this isn't going to be a particularly long update by standards.
I am REALLY sorry about all the repetetive delays. I hate them too, as I've probably made known enough times that it's borderline annoying to hear about it. Really, this is just bad. I'm being stingy on +1s as compensation, however, because I don't want every charge in this game to primarily be because I was +1ing it for missing updates.
So it seems like summoning tons of 1-post charges in hopes of getting a FATE to change the field is an optimal tactic. Now I just have to figure out which entities to try and summon...
This clearly would be the best faction.
Two hearts, but I'm super fast! I can totally do this! YEAH! I CAN WIN!
I didn't win.
After much trying of PZ, it generally ended with me getting blown up by a nigh-undodgeable skeleton arrow. I think the faction would have been improved by being given a shield.
Okay, now let's try AZ! I'll ban EVERYONE!
Including myself! I meant to do that!
Now let's try GS... wait, am I short?
Oh.
Oh dear.
I believe I've found a problem with the GS Faction: They sink into the ground.
This must be the REAL reason why so few people join them.
NOW, FOR THE FOURTH AND FINAL FACTION! I CANNOT WAIT TO-
It appears my own joke has turned against me.
*some time later*
At last.
A truly balanced game.
Good map Talist.
Also, after this, I FINALLY took the time to sync my Mojang account, change my IGN to something more modern, and update my outdated Minecraft profile info. Sadly, it seems there's no way I can change my Minecraft profile name.
I'm glad it meets your standards. And I'm pretty sure this map is official DTG canon. Although, to be clear, each faction has a really crippling vice and you encountered all of them. PZ cannot take a hit, AZ causes an explosion whenever you hit something, and GS causes you to sink a block into the ground whenever you deal damage. You have to keep jumping if you want to not die. It's great.
And I actually think that PZ is the best "class" in that game if you know how to deal with it (Even better than Omega because Omega is totally 100% balanced). The bow is to deal with the skeletons, really.
And on a more serious note, I didn't have anything pre-built for April Fools. I just saw your post and threw this together in about an hour and a half.
This post actually has no point. I just felt the inner need to place it here. Maybe I'll put something here, maybe I won't. I guess you'll have to keep checking, just in case.
EDIT2: Well, gorilla. Looks like someone is screwed this round.

Crusher, I can tell you right now that that's a terrible idea. That is most certainly NOT an optimal tactic, since FATEs aren't just chosen randomly. a 1 post summon that WOULD be a FATE isn't going to be if you are directly trying to cause one. Trying to take advantage of game mechanics is never a good strategy.
The point is, FATEs are effectively random, as you never know which entity has a FATE attached to its summoning until you summon it, but Tazz probably has a list of all possible FATEs somewhere, so if you summon enough entities, eventually you get a FATE by pure luck. When seven super-powerful entities show up if you get lucky enough to get a FATE, it would simply be more prudent to attempt to get a FATE than bother trying to summon entities the conventional way (since the entities you summon normally will get wiped out by the entities from the guy who goes FATE-hunting).

FATE's aren't effectively random. A FATE happens when tazz sees something, has a good idea, and is like "Let's throw a curveball in there". They're not pre-made.
As a note to your position there, we've been through almost 200 pages of frantic entity summoning, and both FATES we had were triggered by something big. The first by being so closely related to the Gatekeeper that had been fielded, and the second because, well, Omega Flowey.
Trust me on this crusher, this is a terrible idea. Your logic is not sound here.
>IRE IS MAKING A GAME BUT HE STILL CAN'T ART SO HE MADE THE CHARACTERS BOXES
-Weapon Showcase: COGHAMMER
A high-damage melee weapon that deals extra damage versus armor. Has three attacks.
-basic swing that deals 60 damage, but takes time to wind up
-ground shockwave that's instant and deals 45 damage
-air slam that deals 75 damage if the foes touch you as you fall, and shockwaves that deal 25 damage each
-the shockwaves will stun foes, but that's not implemented yet
Weapon Preview (in a staggering 10 FPS)
Still not sure as to why the HP Bars glitch out the first few frames. It doesn't happen in-test.
Want to see more of these? No idea.
(gonna get one of my friends to art. or maybe i'll pay mind-control twin to art for me)
There may be to possibility that I can do a few sprites for you. I kinda suck though.

Huh, you could have it be a semi-minimalist game. Add a little more work to the blocks and stuff and it could be okay. I don't see why you couldn't have blocks as the characters.
Wait, why even bother summoning Coffins if Chara's main attack is "instant death, NO EXCEPTIONS"?
All UserZero has to do is make Chara attack Omega Flowey once, and boom, the 350-post charge is dead in one hit, and its invulnerability does absolutely nothing due to the instant death having no exceptions.

This is what happens if you try to run Minecraft in Windows 10. 4FPS worthy lag and being unable to do anything.
Don't make the same mistake I did, kids.
Wait, you actually had something? Wasn't expecting that! How well-timed!I must play this. Reporting back shortly.
