It was intended to seriously weaken the imperator, and while it would be annoying to have it hit a one-point wonder on the [AZ] side that would at least do more than TARGETING A ENTITY THAT CAN DODGE CHARGE ATTACKS LIKE SANS DODGES. EVERYTHING[/b]. On that note, if you do decide to "refund" the damage for some reason, please do not do that. (As in aim at at the weakest AZ) (Please make sure all damage refunds hit the Imperator.
But seriously, the only reasons i can tell for that to be the normal target if i specify none is the following:
1. It was a new boss. (Issue: The Imperator was just as concerning and was equally dangerous, and weaker besides, so new boss or not, still more logical to go for the Imperator)
2. Trololololollolololo (Seriously)
3. To display the Hyperstorm's dodging abilty (Again, you could of just had another entity with a charge ready attack the hyperstorm)
4. Actual punishment for the above rudeness (Problem: it was a great many pages ago and i doubt that you would remember enough to decide to punish me for it. Plus, i don't think have had any serious blots of rudeness lately)
5. Because no target is a serious crime and clearly you must waste your attack (That came off as rude i think, but you said the reason why it targeted the 'storm is because you forgot what it was targeting and thusly aimed it at that. Which, is (see reason 3))

The games in this timeline are the ONLY canon games, and are the ONLY games to interact with the game's actual timeline. DTG0, DTG1, and DTG2 are the only main series games, all others are canon spinoffs. Acolyte, Pain & Suffering, and Chaos are noncanon, so they aren't on this timeline. (At least, I THINK Chaos is noncanon. I could be wrong about that.)
This timeline is pretty linear, even though I know a lot of these games were happening at the same time in the real world. This timeline presents how events happened within the game's universe. Also, DTG3 isn't on this list because there won't be a DTG3.

There are far worse ways that something can backfire, cough cough anger over half the Mainframe being stolen by Tazz's blatant Mary Sue cough cough typing slash null would have ruined the seriousness of the situation cough cough I'm still mad about that because he listed no charges being sunken into it as a reason for why he felt he could get away with it even though if he tried stealing half the Narrative or Conflict he would probably be noped out of existence despite neither of them having any charge sunken into them cough-
@Engie: If you're (still) so peeved about that, why aren't you in Terraria (Bill Cipher is even there and has directly referened the Universe Eater by his symbol) trying to kill her and/or take the Mainframe halves back? Just saying is all.
Because I honestly don't want to play the Terraria session if I can help it. I don't even have an account on the Terraria Forums, and creating one solely for DTG seems... a little bit wasteful.
Well, I suppose that's a good enough reason, although I'd like to point a good number of people playing DTG made their accounts on the forums their on BECAUSE of DTG, and some of said people are contributing members of the rest of the community now.

Alpha goes on his (first?) world conquering spree, intent on actually getting power other than just personal strength in godmodding, supported by Project Nexus (which, due to the events of the MSPA session, is no longer under Piono's control, meaning it can be used as GM general property without me having any control beyond MAYBE Phobos) as his army. It begins with him sort of stomping everything into the ground, and the Descendants starting to rally.
Then Richard shows up. Seems a Nexus strike force tried to attack Earth (not really happy with that explanation, but SOMETHING), and Richard isn't too happy about Alpha invading his turf. Eventually, the other godmodders who made it out of DTG2 alive start to trickle in, eventually Uzi will show up, since she's still alive. This would end with her either helping Richard or Alpha, or creating a tertiary faction only to get stomped into the dirt, because the entire enlightened multiverse (aka: all the of the multiverse involved in DTG so far) is on one side or the other. Anyone, even Uzi, trying to make their own side would result in... less than happiness on her part.
That's what I have in mind that isn't super spoilery, and of spoiler territory, there's only one or two that I've thought of.
If I were a bolder man, maybe more in the mood to do a fully-fledged game of my own... well... I suspect those who follow the PAS session already know that Verdana really wants to kill The Conflict. But what would happen if he did so? And what would he do once he's killed it? Probably go terrorize random worlds for fun.
If you truly think that, then you seriously underestimate him. Without going into specifics, let's just say that due to the mechanics behind his weapon of choice, he could go 1v1 with pretty much anything for at least 12 turns of battle.
