I know, that's why I considered it too late to join, I /might/ jump in, but I don't think I'd make much of a difference at this point.

Any useful tips? Or at least an idea of how Combat Operandi and Comb Raves work?

Both of those things are gained by leveling up after dealing enough damage. Right now there is not nearly enough time for that to matter for you anyways, so don't. Anyways, since it's endgame and everything besides raw damage, buffs, and healing has been removed, there's not much advice to give at the moment.

You get Battle Techniques, Combat Operandi, and the opportunity to Rave by leveling up, which is done by dealing damage. There's a lot of damage to do now, so just get on it if you decide to join.

Also, welcome! I remember when I was in your shoes, (I'm still relatively new myself) and you will, in joining, fall into a wonderful game and wonderful group overall. I highly recommend it.

Anyways, yeah. I don't think you'd have TOO much of an effect, but who knows. The boss fight's still young.

EDIT: And now for personal griping...

Someone or something deleted the desktop folder off my computer, and now all the fonts look wonky (they still work, they just look really crappy and low-def) and I can't open anything without opening as admin.

And it's just a random hunch, but I think the Windows update that happened right when I turned the computer on was behind it.

This is exactly the place for it! Welcome! You can get started by posting over on the main thread. Feel free to jump right in and start attacking the final boss! It will only be too late to join when the game ends... The next game's shaping up to a be a prequel to DTG1 and DTG2, just so you know. I won't be moderating it, so I don't know when it will start. It probably won't start right after this game's over, I can tell you that.

You can gain Special Attacks as you level up. Once you gain access to one, you can use it whenever you want, although you can only use one Special Attack per post. (Keep in mind you can post three times per turn! A turn is the timespan from one update by me to the next.) You can level up by dealing damage! You can only gain access to your Comb Rave at Level 10, and you can only use it if an Impetus Comb is filled! Combs are filled based on the amount of damage done by every player overall. When one is filled, the damage dealt moves on to the next Comb, and so on.

Oh great almighty Twinbuilder, there's no point in explicating mechanics, there will not be time to learn/use them...Unless...XPboosts?

Basically, use a post moving to one of INCARNATE's legs, then proceed to smash everything within reach via the most imaginative methods you can think of. If you want a damage-boosting "Alchemy" weapon, ask for a spare, even I have like four extras and I'm not that powerful by comparison.

Since I've already made a post of moving, I guess its' time to start breaking things.

Oh yeah, forgot a few things. You can only move to one area at a time, and if you attack an area you've moved to you stay there for the rest of the turn.

Curse is going to ban me now, huh? Although more serious criticism, now when I shrink my browser's size down, it goes into what I assume is mobile view, which is annoying because I'm not on a mobile. Well, I kinda am. Its a laptop... thing. Hey, it plays Minecraft non pocket edition, so it counts as non-mobile for me. But I like to shrink the browser down and have a Youtube video playing in the corner.

I just straight up crashed.

On the plus side, mobile site, finally.
