I've been meaning to get Splatoon too. At least the Steam Summer Sale's going on! I got The Floor is Jelly, Binding of Isaac Rebirth, Don't Starve, and Crypt of the Necrodancer... I beat the Floor of Jelly a few hours ago, it's really good. Now I just need to get Axiom Verge and I'll be all set!

Well, you could try sacrificing the game to a ring of flaming tables, while marching around it and chanting ALL HAIL THE VIRUAL BOY your favorite game banishing song of choice. That or duct tape.
Excuse me, why are you talking about getting hit by tables? That's some serious blunt force trauma that could lead to post-traumatic stress disorder! I for one have had very bad experiences with tables in the past, and I was seriously offended by your post. Be considerate with your triggers and trigger warnings, please!

Talist can use colors, as evidenced by me.
The problem is that I have to go into BB code mode to do this and paste in pre built formatting. If I use the "visual" editor, the script gets... unreliable. Also, Wilson's original speech... uhh... quirk? formatting? Whatever, was sea green, italics, and book antiqua font (well, technically it was something else originally. Something I forgot). But if I try to apply both a color and a font to any text, one of two things can happen. Either 1) If I used the visual editor to do so, the color is removed when I preview/post it or go to BB mode. Or 2) if I use BB mode, it almost crashes my browser.
Well, at least the almost white background makes it look like I made my avatar transparent when I really didn't.
What you have to do, is type the colors in to the nonBB editor. They parse.

Okay, the tvtropes session does and did fine without quotes, even back when I was running three posts a day.
But the tvtropes session is much more flavor-text oriented than this session is. I described things happening in the order they happened, and it still confuses a lot of people. If I had a quote button, I would use it.
