Apparently Wilson died because of the killer rabbit I let loose on Tingle, strangely.

[TEMPORALLY DISLOCATED TEXT, UNABLE TO BE TRACED TO TEMPORAL ORIGIN POINT.]
THE DUEL:
1: This game's premise is Richard's rise to Omega Plus rank. Henceforth, factions are somewhat different. There are three player factions you can join: Anti-Zero, supporters of Richard and the default faction; Pro-Zero, supports of the current Omega Plus Godmodder, UserZero; and Neutral, who support neither for some reason.
2: Anti-Zero is the default. Why? Richard is not exactly a morally upright man himself, but he's not interested in being a mass murderer, while UserZero has explicitly stated she wants everyone on the mystery server dead. IRL dead. Richard is allying with you to help bring her down out of mutual interest to your IRL lives. This doesn't mean you can't be Neutral or Pro-Zero, merely that it's the default.
3: Once you've chosen your faction, the only way to switch sides is a sufficiently surprising backstab. Or something else sufficiently surprising.
4: Be warned. Godmodders do not like being backstabbed. Richard and UserZero are no exceptions. They can't stop you from switching sides (most of the time), but they can certainly take countermeasures.
5: Anti-Zero players want to see UserZero destroyed, while Pro-Zero players want to see Richard destroyed. If one of them dies, the other side wins, and that's the game. Simple as that.
GODMODDERS:
1: Aside from UserZero and Richard, other godmodders may appear. These are either unfortunate guys logging onto the mystery server not knowing what's going on, or lackeys of UserZero, brainwashed into obedience.
2: As UserZero and Richard should demonstrate, godmodders are tough. They are stronger than most entities and even weaker bosses. Even the weakest are not at all to be underestimated. None of them can be healed or protected by any player-attempted means, however.
3: Richard is a Gamma rank godmodder, and this game is about his rise to Omega Plus. The only way to become a higher-ranked godmodder, or the least-complicated way, is to kill a godmodder a rank higher than you. Hence, Richard will make it a priority to kill any higher-ranked godmodders he winds up facing, and so should any Anti-Zero players. If Richard deals the final blow, he will rank up.
4: Richard gains 10 HP, both current and max, upon ranking up, as well as increased attack and a better chance to godmod attacks away. I cannot stress this enough, this is absolutely dire to Anti-Zero success.
5: In case you are worrying: Richard is seriously skilled for his rank, while UserZero is the highest-ranked and has a lot of sapped power from her brainwashed army. In comparison, most other godmodders are easier to damage. They still require some great creativity to harm, but they can be slain much quicker than either primary godmodder!
6: Be warned! A godmodder will attempt to do something crazyupon reaching low HP! This can range from fleeing to executing a wild super attack to attempting a full heal to something else entirely, or all four at once. In short: You better kill them quickly once they get low, or you're gonna regret it.
7: Godmodders are not all clones. They can be seriously varied. They do not have to be human, even. Watch out.
DISTANCE TO ORIGIN: 5000.
1: The Distance to Origin is a measure of how much the battle against the AZ and PZ forces go. Simply put, UserZero's mysterious and probably evil plan involves the tree at the center of this Minecraft World, Yggdrasil. Whatever she's doing there is not defined, but you can make your assumptions all you want. Of course, whatever she's doing apparently warranted a nigh-impenetrable barrier to block you off, so clearly she's gonna make sure you don't get there if she can.
2 The Distance to Origin, in gameplay terms, is how far the battlefield (and thus, all the players, Entities and both Godmodders) is from Yggdrasil. Anti-Zero forces want to get there, Pro-Zero forces want to keep the Anti-Zero forces away from there.
3: In order to shift this value, you have to have your side succeed. In more specific terms: If a Pro-Zero entity is killed, the distance decreases. If an Anti-Zero entity is killed, the distance increases. This is very slight, but every step counts. The stronger the Entity, the more distance gained.
4: If UserZero is damaged, this will also result in considerably shortened distance due to the knockback pushing her away. Richard, on the other hand, did some serious investment into anti-knockback enchantments when making his armor, so damaging him doesn't increase the distance.
5: In addition, if one side has a blatant Entity Advantage, the side will slowly push the distance towards their more favorable distance (cloesr for AZ, farther for PZ) each turn.
6: To stop you from reaching Yggdrasil, UserZero has set up a veritable stronghold of insane defenses, all of which are pointed at anyone who dares to approach. These constitute special entities/bosses, Gatekeepers, and all progress to making it to Yggdrasil is stopped upon reaching these guys. You have to destroy them to proceed forwards.
6: Consider this a secondary objective to destroying the opposing side's godmodder, but nevertheless an important one. The distance hitting zero is probably gonna be important.
7: For all you people who think they can skip to Yggdrasil with your powers and creativity: Trying to 'skip ahead' to Yggdrasil as it were is not smart. UserZero can and will send in the defenses stationed deeper in to the main battlefield if you try it, chasing you back to the battlefield. In other words: There are many things you can try, but I heavily recommend against this.

Well... I kinda wanted to... to be GM. Or try anyway. Although, you sound a lot more confidant and/or prepared than I am, so maybe its for the best. But I don't really know how you feel about running a session. There could be co sessions, one of DTG0 and one of DTG3. That might reduce the number of players for each individual session, making it a little easier. The only communication with Twin I had about this though was a while ago when I said I was interested in being GM.
Telling Willow's story in the past would be really, really difficult. I already have to use some time travel to tell it in the present, but in the past it would take so much hopping around, it would just become confusing and mostly nonsensical, which is disappointing because I spent a long time thinking of it.
If you want to say what you have in plan Maniac, feel free to. We could actually trade a little introduction information about our stories if anyone wants to hear the "hook" for mine.
I think I'm going to find a character from now who's trying to dig u p some dirt on the godmodder's background, since the IUPC supposedly didn't know about the godmodder before DTG put him on the radar.
As for the whole GM thing, I think what's going on here is that tazz is going to be GM of DTG0, since you're still on the wall about whether or not you're capable of doing it, and that should give you time to make a solid decision by the time DTG0 ends, or time to find a replacement if you decide not to GM by the end of it.

My story is that, since this takes place in 2011, Maniac is still the L()rd's servant. As such, Maniac acts quite different in this game. That's all I'm going to reveal for now.

The jeweled story book...
Page 1
Once upon a time... there was a lovely violin.
It was made by a master crafter, yet, was flawed.
And so, in disgust, the crafter threw the violin out into the dust.
And the violin waited... alone in the cold darkness.
Waiting... for someone to care about it...
Poor violin...
Page 2
But then, someone came.
The person saw the beauty in the violin and took it home.
And then the person decorated it in gold and jewels.
The violin now sat proudly on display, waiting for someone to play it.
But no one ever did... and it kept waiting...
Poor violin...
Poor violin...
Page 3
More gems and gold were piled onto the violin.
Until one day, the weight was too much.
And the violin was crushed under the strain of the decorations.
And no one had even bothered to play it and see...
that it was missing half its strings, broken from the start.
Poor violin...
Poor violin...
Poor violin...
Well, there you go. You now know Willow's entire plot. Most of it anyway. Interpret from it what you will.
The problem is that I don't think time is going to help my decision. What would help is having people to plan things out with/knowing what people want in the first place. Maybe once DTG2 is over I'll have a massive poll and then plan out stuff for a couple of weeks before trying to start a session. And I'd also like to make at least one more IRM event because those were fun to build and I've only had one person actually play one to submit their score. I know that Twin played my second one though.
Edit- I personally think that having 2 sessions would be a good thing because Twin (and maybe Tazz, I'm not sure) thinks that all this RP stuff planned is superfluous. But everyone loves making plans for it anyway. So maybe DTG0 could be more focused on the official story and DTG3 could be like DTG1, but with more RP.
My plans for DTG0 depend on when in the timeline it takes place, what the format of the game is like (whether the traditional "Siege" format, "Duel" format, or something else entirely), and who other people are playing.
A large group of Type Greens KTEs of varying power and in various phases have been discovered. This is a Response Level 4: Severe Threat situation. Little is known about this group, or even if they are indeed a single group. We have identified two high ranking members of this threat: KTE-2914-Green: "Richard Persson", and KTE-2915-Green: "User Zero". Offensive action will not be taken until further information has been gathered.
To those of you who would do harm to humanity, I say this: the Global Occult Coalition stands ready to defend humanity against all foes. Whether it likes it or not.

Co-sessions was something I, and several others, had to immediately talk Twin out of. That would make activity for both dry up like mud in a desert, and the utter exodus of activity is the worst-case scenario. Neither would finish, or at least, both would be utterly sluggish. I personally would vote against any attempt for co-sessions for this reason, as that is sentencing DTG3/DTG0 to death.
I think I'm going to find a character from now who's trying to dig u p some dirt on the godmodder's background, since the IUPC supposedly didn't know about the godmodder before DTG put him on the radar.

You can do that. Of course, the Veil will make it next to impossible to get anything terribly relevant. If not actually impossible. This goes for both, by the way.
I'm fairly sure that's pretty much the plan. I've committed to being GM of DTG0, while Talist (and to be fair, me as well) are still kind of on the fence for DTG3. That, and I'd hope to give as much freedom to whoever GM's DTG3 plot-wise as possible.

... Now that's just depressing...
At this point, I doubt I'd even want to play DTG0... Its nothing against you Tazz... but I thought I would be GM, based on how everyone liked my political speeches and what not. So, I planned. I planned out Willow's story, who she is, what her sidequest is about... I planned out all those boss ideas... at least I can give those to you now... I planned out possible justifications for the Godmodder... I planned what systems would be best and I wanted to keep/eliminate them based on which ones people liked... Sure, I didn't know how the actual story would really go or even if we needed one, and I didn't feel very confidant because of that, but I thought about how the mechanics would work. But, turns out I wasted my time because things had already been decided over on the "memo". I had no clue what the memo was, or why people kept mentioning it. I didn't know it was so important. I didn't know that Twin would be saying very important stuff like "The Incarnate will take no damage this turn" or the plans for the next DTG on it, so I didn't care about it. And you want to know the worst part about it? Do you?
I'll tell you. Because its REALLY bloody ironic that this "memo" is. another. freaking. Homestuck reference. How bloody fitting. That's probably going to go on my tombstone in all likeliness. "Here lies Talist. Got screwed over by Homestuck at every possible occasion," and it will be just like Holden Cawfield. I only recently made the connection between the words "Homestuck", "memo", and "Pesterchum". And now I know that here, in DTG2, a game based on Minecraft, that liking Homestuck is a deliberate advantage because then you know what is just a waste of time, whether it be attacking the Incarnate, or planning out bosses. In fact, DTG2 isn't based on Minecraft. Its based on Homestuck. Can anyone see why I am a little upset? I've been told three or four times now "Oh, this will be the last Homestuck reference," but they just keep coming! Scratch, the manor, first guardians, this deudly magnum or whatever, the invasion, the alchemiter, the etchladder, this stupid memo, DMK, psi-Scratch, the employer, paradox space, horror terrors, comb raves, trickster/grimdark, sacred items, and everything else even down to the future of the sequel... At every possible angle... there's something else where you have to know MSPA in order to be prepared. Why? Just why?
I now hate Homestuck and everything related to it with a burning passion. I couldn't make an argument for having 2 sessions because I hate Homestuck. I have no clue what an entire THIRD of the game's world is because I hate Homestuck. I still don't really know how the alchemiter works because I hate Homestuck. I almost wasted 3 rather creative attacks on the Incarnate because I hate Homestuck. I don't understand the story between DTG1 and DTG2 because I hate Homestuck. And most of all, I wasted all my time and effort building up Willow and thinking of different mechanics because I hate Homestuck. That stupid Homestuck reference, the "memo" gives way more important information about DTG2 than this actual thread. And I never checked it once or have any desire to now because I hate Homestuck. I'm going to have PTHD after this. Post traumatic Homestuck disorder.
But fine. I'll just forget about Willow... and wait another 20 months... If anyone wants to see all the plans I put into Willow, I guess you can PM me. Not like they'll be much use now because I can't translate them back in time...
.
.
.
Even if having multiple sessions cut the number of players for each game down to a quarter, that would still be 8 players, which is certainly enough and would actually be more manageable... As long as you have about 5 players who are willing to post, even if its on an every other day basis, its not really going to slow the game down because you can just remove a zero from the boss's life bar and it will be the same thing. If things are too slow, cut out the "standard" time between events where players are literally just trying to "Destroy the Godmodder".
Okay, I basically agree with everything you had to say about Homestuck, it's a terrible webcomic and whatnot, etc. Before people come to defend it, I've actually read a good half of the thing, and that's really not the point.
However, as benevolent dictator of the memo, it really doesn't have anything to do with Homestuck. Its is based off a Homestuck themed IRC shell, but I believe you can connect through any IRC client if you really want to avoid everything Homestuck. I would've liked to have it be normal IRC, actually, because the Homestuck shell is pretty bad. Regardless, you should consider coming on the memo, it's much more efficent communication than PMs. It's the main way to contact and ask things to Twin, and will presumably be the same for Tazz.
Honestly? I like Homestuck, but too much Homestuck has come into this game. You're dead right, Talist. I will say that.Fesftr is also right, as Pesterchum is merely for convenience of fast communication with Twin. I recommend you PM me about anything you have to ask, just as much as any other Chat client, but really, you've made me seriously bummed reading that rant. You're one of the best players here, as well. The worst part is, I don't even know how to respond. I may not even be ABLE to respond. Mistakes were made, damage is done. I can't press a rewind button, Twin can't press a rewind button, it's too late. We can't. You can't. We're stuck with it like this, and it may not be optimal or 100% cool, but we've gotta work with this. It's like, what do you want us to do?
I'd make a joke about how much you rant, but I'm too prone to the same, so I can't really. I can feel the depression coming off of that, and though DTG0 is gonna evade the Homestuck as much as it can, at this point, there is literally no way I can completely get rid of it at this stage.
I will say this, though: You are wrong about exactly one thing in that rant of yours. DTG is NOT Minecraft. BUT! IT's oh most defintiely not Homestuck, though. It's not TvTropes. It's not FEZ. It's not Antichamber. It's not FNaF. It's not the funnymouth meme (Talist, if I could compare anything to your hate of Homestuck, it's my hate of that stupid creepypasta.). It's not Codex Alera (Vord). It's not Starcraft. It's not Mega Man. it's not Portal. It's not Gravity Falls. It's not Futurama. It's not Epic Battle Fantasy. It's not Pokemon. It's not Doctor Who. It's not Sonic (or Sanic). It's not HAT Films. It's not Lord of the Rings. That's just various flavoring, creeping in from the rest of the Internet. Do you WANT to know what DTG is, for reals?
DTG is the game about that complete, callous jerk that comes up to you and ruins your day, then laughs, because you can't do anything about him. Or so he thinks.
Yes there is WAY too much Homestuck in DTG. That's what the MSPA forums session is for, to send the Homestuck stuff there. But hating a webcomic just 'cause it is referenced all the time is stupid. You're not even attacking the WEBCOMIC itself. Yeah that's logical :facepalms:
Hating a webcomic just 'cause it is referenced all the time is stupid. You're not even attacking the WEBCOMIC itself. Yeah that's logical :facepalms:
...if anything, hating Homestuck because it's referenced all the time is a better reason. No one's forcing you to read Homestuck, if one doesn't like it, they could just not read it. That's not the case with the references.
Personally, I never really got into Homestuck. Never really felt the need to. Never been on the chat client, never been searching for deeper meaning, never formed an opinion. It just isn't there. Minecraft... Oh man. I used to play Minecraft sooooooo much back in the day. Constantly, forever searching, just so I could find some diamonds to make myself... a portal to hell? Heh, could've made one without ever going higher than stone. It feels like it's all in my past now. As for the real world,
@Talist: The Employer is not a Homestuck reference and never was. And yeah, Pesterchum is basically IRC but less functional and easier to set up channels. Apart from that, yeah, I can see why you're angry, but you don't have to abandon Willow's entire plot just because you're angry at us for referencing something too much. And hopefully you won't kill me for my DTG0 character being partly a HS reference (I'm not going to change it because I've had this idea for a long time, please don't kill me), but we should try to make it less integral.
Okay, Talist, in response to your post, I again would like to say that I can't speak for Twinbuilder, and while my feelings on the whole Homestuck thing are mixed, I CAN say that your lack of participation in the memo had almost nothing, if anything at all, to do with our decision. And yes, since Tazz seems to have let the cat out of the bag, me and Twin did indeed confirm it with each other. However, we did it on our own, not through "the memo". This wasn't decided through the "council of literally everyone but you". We chose Tazz because we thought he was the better choice, not because of Homestuck. I'll have to wait for Twin to say more, and maybe talk with him on the whole dual session thing.

I should clarify some things... Sorry this all turned into a Homestuck bashing session.
My underlying problem with all of this isn't that I desperately wanted to be GM, or that the entire game feels like Homestuck references, its that I thought I was going to be GM. And because of that, I still worked on Willow's backstory and all that even though Tazz was talking about DTG0. I thought what would happen is that I would play DTG0 as just... a player really. I'd stay entirely out of RP for that and be just the Veteran, nothing more, nothing less. And then on the other side of the forums would be me running DTG3. And over there, I wouldn't be a player. I'd be Willow and not really interact much outside of RP and actually running the game. I needed to make sure that Willow was perfectly imperfect because after all, I'd have her the entire game and she would be my most direct interaction with the game.
So, I needed to play Willow right. Rather than making up most of her character on the fly like I did with Wilson, I would very carefully plan her out. I'd give her all those little quirks that would probably only come up once if that right from the get go, such as how she likes peanut butter. Freakin' peanut butter of all things. Don't ask how I thought of peanut butter. I even animated her. Both figuratively by making her seem life like and I literally made an animated .gif file of her with Flash and Photoshop. So, after going through all the trouble of animating her, after deciding on her favorite food and how that relates to her backstory, after listing down her important quotes, after making sure she could answer most of the questions on no less than three of those RP character questionnaires, can you imagine how depressing it was to learn that all of my efforts were pointless right from the very start? And then learning that the reason I didn't have this information was because I hated Homestuck and so didn't know the relationship between the words "memo" and "pesterchum" was, quite simply, the biggest kick in the teeth.
But even if I did know the relationship between those words, this would have still happened because I had no clue how to access the memo and had no clue how important it was, so I didn't bother trying to find out. I had never heard the term "IRC" before, so I had to look it up to find out it meant International Rescue Committee. Although how you talk over that, I have no idea. Heh. I'm so funny. Anyway... if that didn't answer your question, I'll reply to everyone...
@Fseftr: Its not just that the memo started as something Homestuck, but also that I simply didn't know how to or why I should access it. But it being Homestuck is still quite bad.
@Tazz: There's not anything specific that I expect you or anyone else to do. Certainly not for DTG2 because the infection is too deep. But maybe something like telling people where important, game effecting information could be found or not... sigh... making everything into Homestuck. Remember the Emerald Arena? That turned into a Homestuck reference. And anyway, if I don't complain, who will?
That's... not what I was saying... I was saying that DTG was based on Minecraft. Although, looking back at the very first posts, I see that was wrong. It started out being based on... nothing really. But then it became based on Minecraft, which makes sense because if you scroll up and look to the left, there's big white letters spelling out Minecraft Forum. But if the game is based on anything right now, its Homestuck as that is the most common reference in the game. Its not really based on the Godmodder anymore because he doesn't do a whole lot of godmodding these days.
@Gutza: Then its doing a terrible job of siphoning off the Homestuck. And maybe I am being illogical because humans, above all else, are known for being illogical. Illogical emotions are the subjects of an endless number of books, movies, cartoons, and so many other forms of media. Just think of them all. Romeo and Juliet were, logically speaking, being stupid and irresponsible, as were Jay Gatz from "The Great Gatsby" and Janie Starks from "Their Eyes Were Watching God". Does that make their emotions any less valid? No. In fact, the books they come from would be very dull without those illogical emotions. Romeo and Juliet wouldn't have met each other, Jay Gatz would just be some random rich guy, and Jaine would have stayed in Eatonville. And if you want to take this idea to its extreme, almost every game, including DTG, are based off illogical emotions. Playing a game doesn't make us any fitter or more agile. Sometimes we learn from them, but we don't learn anything we couldn't learn from a book/online source. But sometimes games are more effective in teaching because they give us stupid, illogical fun. That's my case for stupidity anyway. Fseftr also talked a little about whether hating Homestuck for that reason is justified.
@Serpent: I wouldn't abandon Willow's plot even if all of DTG3 (not 0, mind you) took place on Alternia or whatever its called. Sure, I'd be really angry and basically shove my fingers in my ears shouting "LA LA LA LA", hoping all the Homestuck goes away, but I wouldn't abandon the plot. The reason I feel like Willow's plot is pointless is because DTG0 is more likely than DTG3 and Willow's plot just doesn't work in the past. The problem is that she needs to meet Wilson. Twice actually. I've set up Wilson as the champion of the light and Willow as the champion of the night and I need the contrast. In order for it to work in the past, she would literally have to...
be born, live a little, go back in time about a year, meet Wilson, go back in time another two years randomly to be introduced to the players in DTG0, then SOMEHOW learn that Wilson ends up in Blue's dimension (at least that's where he'll probably go) five years from now even though Wilson hasn't even been born yet and no one would know who he is yet, go forward in time five years to find him there and only there rather than, you know, any more convenient point during DTG2, then bring him BACK to DTG0, have adventures with other players, then somehow convince Wilson and a couple other players to randomly jump forward 5 years and then, and only then, have the final battle with the support of other players, going out of their way to fight rather than leave their enemies in the future. Then go back to DTG0 time until the game ends and then do whatever after that.
Long story short: Moving the story back in time requires at least... 4 or 5 different illogical leaps of reasoning and somewhat undermines Willow's entire motivation and most defining character trait. That's why I feel so hopeless about Willow's story, not because of Homestuck. I don't know though. Maybe someone more clever and creative than me can find some way for it to work with "parallel dimensions" or "limited time travel" or "time rifts" or whatever. So, I don't care if you have a character based on Homestuck (when I first read HS, I literally thought you meant Hearthstone for a moment, not Homestuck), but don't expect me to understand who they are to any reasonable degree.
@TT2000: Like I said earlier, I'm not giving up because of Homestuck, although my rant turned into that because the fact Homestuck had something to do with it was a massive kick in the teeth. I'm giving up because I didn't have enough information. I assumed I would be either GM, co-GM, or GM of a parallel session due to popular opinion and because no one had told me it had already been decided over on the memo. Or at least, was being discussed. I'll admit, I at least somewhat brought this on myself because I should have outright asked Twin. But because I thought DTG3 would be a thing, I planned out Willow's story. But then it turned out to be useless. If I had known right off the bat what was being decided in the memo, I wouldn't be writing this right now. For all I know, I'd be happily filling out a character grid for someone like Wolfgang or Wendy and their story would lead into Wilson's, not out of. But suddenly finding out that doing a month of planning, with all its allusions to famous literature and Willow's character quirks and all that, was all useless because of ONE TINY LITTLE THING is a little bit depressing. Heh. Sounds like someone didn't get the memo. Hah.
So after all this, I'm sorry I brought up Homestuck because that's not really the main point. And the more I try to justify my anger the more stupid I feel. And maybe I am. Maybe I should just shut up and put Willow's character sheet on a little pin in my cork board to stay there for 20 more months. Then I could get out a blank sheet of paper and start over. But that would still make me really angry and I don't feel like I could write anything as good as what I have right now.
Edit- If you're only going to read one thing out of this entire post, please read these next few sentences because they're... kinda a plea for help.
I can't really rewrite her story to leave out Wilson because that would ruin her most defining character trait. If anyone else has some idea on how I can get this to work, I'd gladly accept the help right now because I just don't know. If the idea works to a reasonable degree, I'll happily play DTG0 with Willow and then 20 months later come up with some other story, probably unrelated to Wilson and Willow, for whatever comes next.

This post arguing about the future of DTG is longer than DTG1's original post... hah... how times have changed...

A godmodder will attempt to do something crazy upon reaching low HP!
In other words: There are many things you can try, but I heavily recommend against this.

...What?
I assume that means Tazz will be the GM? Anyway, sounds really cool. I'll just alter my story to suit it.
Would any of you kind gents like to hear some of the story (non-spoilers) I have planned for DTG0?

DTG Co Labs
Nope, sorry guys, no Destroy the Godmodder relevant stuff here...
At least, not yet.
My story is that, since this takes place in 2011, Maniac is still the L()rd's servant. As such, Maniac acts quite different in this game. That's all I'm going to reveal for now.

The jeweled story book...
Page 1It was made by a master crafter, yet, was flawed.
And so, in disgust, the crafter threw the violin out into the dust.
And the violin waited... alone in the cold darkness.
Waiting... for someone to care about it...
Poor violin...
Page 2
The person saw the beauty in the violin and took it home.
And then the person decorated it in gold and jewels.
The violin now sat proudly on display, waiting for someone to play it.
But no one ever did... and it kept waiting...
Poor violin...
Poor violin...
Page 3

GODDAMN IT
STUPID GENDERFLIP VIRUS
Since my backstory takes place far, far back, (Like in 1977) I probably won't be in it. Also, other stuff to manage.
I'll be making my great escape now!
Relevant:
Now, in regards to DTG0 plans:
There's a difference between a hero and a champion. A champion overcomes threats, but a hero overcomes fears.

Yeah that's logical :facepalms:
...if anything, hating Homestuck because it's referenced all the time is a better reason. No one's forcing you to read Homestuck, if one doesn't like it, they could just not read it. That's not the case with the references.
Looks like things are happen.
As for the real world,
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH BORIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING.
Perhaps that's why, when I got the opportunity to do so, I began carving out my own world from the granite pile of DTG.
GODDAMN IT
STUPID GENDERFLIP VIRUS
@Talist: The Employer is not a Homestuck reference and never was. And yeah, Pesterchum is basically IRC but less functional and easier to set up channels. Apart from that, yeah, I can see why you're angry, but you don't have to abandon Willow's entire plot just because you're angry at us for referencing something too much. And hopefully you won't kill me for my DTG0 character being partly a HS reference (I'm not going to change it because I've had this idea for a long time, please don't kill me), but we should try to make it less integral.
Oh no
Okay, Talist, in response to your post, I again would like to say that I can't speak for Twinbuilder, and while my feelings on the whole Homestuck thing are mixed, I CAN say that your lack of participation in the memo had almost nothing, if anything at all, to do with our decision.
Check out my bad CTM map reviews here.

There's a difference between a hero and a champion. A champion overcomes threats, but a hero overcomes fears.
