How'd I taunt the army without looking at them? And then I looked at them...
Does this include multi-person events? Because it just isn't as much fun if there isn't a possibility of ships.

engie. My rant is here. You established long. LONG ago that your character is a universe eater. Attempting to make up another character with the explicit purpose of attempting to ruin the game for everyone else, whatever it is that you're claiming you're trying to do that will be the end result of you even beginning to come close to achieving this idiotic goal you've put into your mind, is totally and completely unadulterated B. S. The Figure, as you call it, is nothing more than a God Mode Sue, written with the express intent of trying to defy not one, but TWO GMs in a single sweep. Plot Armor works at the will of the Narrative, and along its mandates and desires. Plot Armor is not something one physically possesses (as the item named for it is not the actual thing, just named for having a similar effect through probability manipulation (unless twin comes with an alternate explanation)) but rather the sanction of the Narrative. Retcon Inducement is the realm of Plot Entities (like the Narrative and Paradox Space) and nobody else for a variety of exceedingly necessary reasons. And will never be the realm of anyone else short of if all the GMs get together and decide to do a finale for the franchise. There is no such thing as genuine omnipotence. The Narrative comes closest, and even that is limited by only being able to act through specific actions.
In essence, this whole 'Figure' thing is a load of hogwash and nothing more. Twin has already stated that he won't let you go through with that idiocy. Apparently my insistence on ignoring anything stupid you try to do regarding the update terminal in DTG tvtropes hasn't been getting through your thick head. And on top of both of those, you know better. You are a veteran, and up until recently, you were contributing productively to this series. So stop trying to take over. You do not have the right, the privilege or the power to do so. Pretending you have any of those only serves to create contention and give everybody involved a hard time.
And don't got spouting nonsense about In-Character. In Character engie knows that he can't circumvent the OP scale and is smart enough to not try to do so.
I need to go and update tvtropes before I read the hunger games. Although your thing looks pretty interesting too proof, although you should probably try to find a way to fix up formatting.

... Despite all of us being literal gods who write reality through computers, (In the forum game context) with Twin being the god who rules over us all, we can NOT interact with the forum game ourselves as far as I know. We have to use characters to do things for us? And I think the God-Who-Judges (Twin) is most definitely going to overrule you here too. "Heck, even I know that, and I've got more medium awareness in me than you can shake a fourth-wall-cracking stick at. You guys have to control us, you can't act yourselves. Or, at least, that's what we think.
engie. Anyone who is able to interact in-universe with anything is fictional. This has been established. Multiple times. No one from the real world can interact with even know of assurity that the fictional multiverse exists. You cannot be there, it cannot interact with you. This has been a thing. And will always be a thing.

Can't anyone disagree with someone else without it being labeled as "drama"? I was actually enjoying that little debate of story vs gameplay. And to answer your question, Engie, yes. Yes I would. Although, I think that game play lasts longer in the mind than the story actually does. But that's just my opinion. Its true for me though. For example, the original Mario Brothers (and many other old games) has basically nothing in terms of story, but that's not what they're remembered for. And if people remember just one thing about my sidequest, I don't want it to be the story. I'd hate for people to only remember it as "that fox's sob story". What I want people to remember it as is something more along the lines of "The ultimate example of entity vs. entity combat."
The figure is quite literally me from the real world. So, actually, due to, y'know, EXISTING, I think my existence in and of itself in the real world somewhat overrules your OOC rage.
@NewComment: Well, that rather disrespectful. And no, it doesn't. Stop trying to just state your power because that doesn't work and just annoys other people. Twin has specifically put forth rules to balance people out and stop that. The fact still remains that you are one of the weaker players in the game. The reason for it is because of those rules, not the "op scale". This OOC fact overrides your IC "fact" because no matter what you say IC, there ware only certain ways it can effect the game. You've ignored me every time I've shoved this point in your face, but I'll state it again. And again. And again. And you'll keep ignoring it. Sigh... If IC took priority over OOC, that would mean that I could very, very easily become more powerful than you with just a snap of my fingers. Then you'd make up some stuff to counter my made up stuff, then I'd do the same, then you'd do it again, and it would just get stupid. We'd be saying things like "EVERY TIME I BLINK, AN INFINITE NUMBER OF UNIVERSES ARE CRUSHED UNDER MY MIGHT! YOU DARE FACE ME?" and it would get very annoying for everyone. So, that's why we have the game's rules. It stops that kind of thing from happening and so, if you could actually face Wilson in a one on one fight with you both acting as players, that little fox would win about 80% of the time. He just has more alchemies, more potions, and arguably, more allies*. When you get down and dirty with the actual effects on the game, OOC trumps IC every time and makes it so the most humble character, the 10 pound, strangely colored fox that sounds like a squeaky toy and has a fear of spiders, can beat the "all mighty" universe eater who says that a quintillion lives "isn't a very big number". And that's an unarguable fact.
*And I don't mean that you have an army of nameless company soldiers and drones or whatever to back you up. How many other players would be willing to help you when you need it? The whole universe eater thing doesn't exactly win friends. And, it sounds funny to say, but being a 10 pound, strangely colored fox that sounds like a squeaky toy and has a fear of spiders makes Wilson more human, and so more relateable. Before I brought him onto the battlefield, I didn't realize how many people freakin' love Wilson to death. I think he's now my 2nd most popular entity so far in terms of people spending posts to interact with him. The first, was of course the Blank Book, a little bit of an unsung hero. And by the way, it had literally NO backstory or IC development. All it had were some interesting mechanics that had never been seen before or after. And people loved it for that.
If push came to shove, he'd trounce you. As powerful as you are in-universe, OOC trumps all. And the Narrative, OP Scale, Update Terminals and various other such constructs invented by me and twin as in-universe enforcers of OOC, so you can't argue in-character power either.
Nifty little circle isn't it?
Engie, the worst part about all of this is that you're arguing with me, even though most of the legitimacy of your backstory comes from me taking it and using it in the multiverse plot that has become such a huge part of DTG. I went back and read through things, and I noticed that nobody took you seriously AT ALL until after people started listening to me, and I started including you in my backstory. Since then a couple of other people (mainly fseftr) have been helping you out, but even still...
Most of the rest of us don't have such a thing.
My stuff only works because I go behind the scenes and PM people to work stuff out beforehand, which gave me more substance with twin, and serpent's stuff only worked because twin latched onto her plotline.
Beyond that, I don't think anyone else's significance has been almost entirely dependent upon other people's help. Heck, even Serpent and me only needed that when we were first starting off.
So don't go pissing other people off, its only by the good graces of the more influential players that you're anywhere near the top, and as much of a self-absorbed and arrogant threat as this entire thing may seem, if you were to alienate the rest of us, you'd be stuck, because as I've stated before, your actions fall under 'disrupting a thread' and both here and in tvtropes could be used to kick you out.
I don't want that to happen because when you're not busy trying to break the things other people ahve spent time and effort putting together, you're a valuable part of the community, but that just lends all the more weight to my argument.
I need to go and update tvtropes before I read the hunger games. Although your thing looks pretty interesting too proof, although you should probably try to find a way to fix up formatting.

*looks at engie's claim of existing OOC as proof of IC existence*
No.
No.
No.
Not a thing.
You can't just randomly interact with the game world by OOC shenanigans.
Just. No.
Even though I use a self-insert character...I would not, and in fact cannot, do that.
Even with an Update Terminal (though one not in use nor relevant to DTG) on my end of the screen.

Oh, by the way, sorry about not mentioning this. But I didn't upload a Hunger Games due to having another AP test today. However, tomorrow I'm going to work on making events able to deal damage. The formatting is planned to be fairly similar. For a normal or blood bath event, do something like this: {10s 10d -5i 20h} Put the amount of damage you want the player to take followed by an h at the end of the stats. So for that example, the player is going to take 20 damage. If you want the player to be healed from the event instead, just give a negative number. For fatal events, do the same thing and that will be the damage they take (or again, heal in the case of negatives) if they pass the event. So for example, {50s 60a 25h} represents an event that takes a 50 strength check and a 60 alchemies check. If the player passes both of those, they still take 25 damage and so might die regardless. So, if you want events where one player instantly kills another, now you can have them. It would be something like: {2s}/{100h}
Also, tell me if you think that's confusing and positive numbers should equal healing and negative ones should equal damaging instead.

Honestly, I find this whole debate kinda annoying and would rather stay out of it, for reasons of JUST GET ALONG, IT IS NOT HARD. That said, I would say that Engie's recent actions are not really justified, and I consider him to be wrong. In-character, I'd probably back him up, but Amp's as psychopathic/would-be-powermad-if-not-weakling as he is, so yeah.
What I don't get is why. Why, why, why, do you people persist in this... this... this series of rage posts, all of this emotion, that you could use to drive the plot, all wasted on me?
"IT'S BECAUSE YOU DONE SCREWED UP, REAL WORLD ME! YOU SCREWED UP SO BADLY THAT YOU'VE GONE AND ISOLATED EVERYONE ELSE FROM YOURSELF, SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SHUT UP AND ADMIT DEFEAT WHEN IT HAPPENS!"
EVERYTHING I DID WAS TO BENEFIT YOU, IN-UNIVERSE ME!
"AND YOU TOOK WHAT BENEFITS YOU COULD SCROUNGE OUT AND RAN THEM INTO THE GROUND WITH THE FORCE OF A THOUSAND SUPERNOVAS, SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T RELAX THE NARCISSISM! IS IT NOT ENOUGH TO YOU, TO MAKE THE VERY ENTITY SERVING YOU AS AN AUTHOR AVATAR BE ABOVE GODLIKE LEVELS? IS THAT WHY YOU CREATED THE FIGURE, TO CUT OFF YOUR TIES TO ME? HOW IS ANOTHER STUPID GOD MAN BEING CREATED GOING TO BENEFIT ME IN ANY SENSE OF THE WORD?"
...
"NOTHING TO SAY TO THAT, EH? NOTHING TO SAY TO THOSE PLAYERS THAT YOU'RE REPEATEDLY SHOWING YOUR MIDDLE FINGERS TO? HAVEN'T CROSSED ENOUGH LINES ALREADY? ARE YOU FINALLY READY TO SHUT UP?"
...I just want to mean something...
"THEN PROVE IT! HONESTLY TRY TO MEAN SOMETHING! APOLOGIZE TO THESE PLAYERS, THEN SHUT UP!"
...Fine.
To all of you out there, for whatever it's worth at this point...
Yeesh. Engie, we get that you type in grey. But seriously. OOC and IC are separate. And separate for good reason. What talist is saying that trying to end this argument by having your characters argue with each other sounds in no way sincere. Say it OOC. You need to say it. Not In-universe engie. Not The Figure engie. Not TECHPIECE. Not Purple. You. The person behind the screen in actual real life. That's the person we want an apology from, because that's the person who we're friends with, even if only by proxy.
And talist, if you're going to do events that can damage you, you should probably set them up similar to lethal events so that there's a damaging and non-damaging option, because someone taking damage and dying from something pathetic is just as egregious as if you could die to the sidewalk thing for no reason other than having had your dexterity dropped by one point previously (with the exception of the characters with pitifully low dex to start off with.)
That being said... does the simulation reduce HP that goes too high to 100 at the end of the day?
If that's the case...
(Player1) drank a potion of invincibility! {-10000 Hp}
This, of course, sends your health through the roof for one round, and basically for the rest of that day you're completely invincible. If you get into any duels, the other person dies.
But because of the max Hp, your health goes back down to normal at the end of the day.
Also, talist, could you give us a list of things you've got on your plate as 'future features' of the DTG simulator?
I had an idea for once you finish working on the other things that if possible you could have it so that characters have a set of relationships, that can change the outcomes of certain events if they end up in an event with someone they have a relation with.
The relations I think would be best if you end up being able to implement this are...
allies (formed by allies events, ended if the other person attacks them directly)
enemies (formed if the other person attacks them directly. The alliance with intent to murder would set both allies and enemies as true, but another action solidifying the alliance or ending it would remove whichever of the two the next event did not correspond to.)
shipped (because turning the ships into an actual thing with an effect on gameplay would be hilarious. Ship-creating events would of course set up the relationship, and there's already several ship-sinker events.)
Nonono, Grimdark and Trickster GRANT magic powers.

Heh, talist has you there engie.
JUST FREAKING CUT IT OUT ALREADY!!!

No.
No.
No.
Not a thing.
You can't just randomly interact with the game world by OOC shenanigans.
Just. No.
Even though I use a self-insert character...I would not, and in fact cannot, do that.
Even with an Update Terminal (though one not in use nor relevant to DTG) on my end of the screen.
[Client thread/INFO] [Natura]: TConstruct, we're going to take over the world!
...Well. Now i've got a God Mode Sue to deal with. Should i even try anymore?
...Well. Now, to make things completely different, i'm gonna put up some Talist Games events for whatever reason. We need the break.
Standard:
(Player1) successfully hacked into Wily's Camera System. {10i}
(Player1) tripped Wily's Security Alarms. It cost him some of his entities. {-10e}
(Player1) did a nonspecific thing to add to their dexterity. {3d}
(Player1) got the Skull Barrier. {8s}
(Player1) stole a Guitar from a Guitar Warrior. {4a}
Lethal Thingies:
(Player1) was punched in the face by Pharaoh Man. {40s 50d}
(Player1) was able to roll out of the way of Pharaoh Man.
------
(Player1) was killed by a Guitar Warrior. {35s 30d 35e 20a} [Reference is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c4hnA8jXwo]
(Player1) killed a Guitar Warrior.
Oh, by the way, sorry about not mentioning this. But I didn't upload a Hunger Games due to having another AP test today. However, tomorrow I'm going to work on making events able to deal damage. The formatting is planned to be fairly similar. For a normal or blood bath event, do something like this: {10s 10d -5i 20h} Put the amount of damage you want the player to take followed by an h at the end of the stats. So for that example, the player is going to take 20 damage. If you want the player to be healed from the event instead, just give a negative number. For fatal events, do the same thing and that will be the damage they take (or again, heal in the case of negatives) if they pass the event. So for example, {50s 60a 25h} represents an event that takes a 50 strength check and a 60 alchemies check. If the player passes both of those, they still take 25 damage and so might die regardless. So, if you want events where one player instantly kills another, now you can have them. It would be something like: {2s}/{100h}

APOLOGIZE TO THESE PLAYERS, THEN SHUT UP!"
...Fine.

(Player1) drank a potion of invincibility! {-10000 Hp}
