@netpatham argument
Did you just base a group's power off owning a planet? Pretty sure many of us could destroy a planet with little more difficulty than a fortress, possibly even using the same weapons. Hell, the Anachron eats planets for ammunition and fuel, not even counting the myriad planet-cracker weapons it has access to. A planet just makes you an easier target.
For instance, a self-teleporting antimatter containment cell holding 250kg of AM appearing in a remote area of the mantle could convert an earth-sized body to a small asteroid field within less than a second.
Welp. Made a Wiki page on the wiki. It's probably in need of some serious editing to fit quality standards and such-I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing, I just put down what I remembered. Feel free to add what I might have missed or what might be incorrect, and edit away frivolous details.
Blue and company would be harder, as magic/technologic interfacing only goes so far against technology with a mana denial field, but there are ways. Suddenly-high-velocity particles, stuff like that.
I really didn't want to join this whole debacle too much, but... that really wouldn't do anything. Remember, velocity is only one half of force, and a few particles is not a lot of mass. I mean... you don't see the LHC blowing up on a regular basis, do you? So I hope you can accelerate particles to two or three hundred Cs. Keep in mind, this would only damage most ship shields.

Now, to move away from this topic, as we have thoroughly confirmed that HEX does not sport a position of particularly great power. How about... if any of you had a choice between obtaining omniscience, omnipotence, or neither, which one would you choose? Sorry for the idiotic question, but we must get away from our previous topic of conversation.

Neither. If I was omniscient, I would get very bored because there would be nothing more to discover. If I was omnipotent, there would be no challenge in anything, so I would also get very bored.
You cannot nullify the Hazel Wand. After Not-John killed me with it, I created a ward making it impossible to use the thing against me. No Grayhallow Ritual, but certainly around a third of that level. In any way. Anyhow, I need not require vis for direct power. Easily remedied with the annihilation of physical matter for essentia transmutation, and the fact that my body is essentially overcharged with Grimdark power supplied by the existence of the Furthest Ring. I could stop you from casting any spells, suffocate you with my eldritch existence nearby, throw you into the second power source of the Hazel Wand, stop you from existing, crush your will, transmute your physical body into candle wax, turn you into an organic being, et cetera. Need I go on? Of course, I think one of the problems here (besides the large amount of godmodding you regulary use) is that you are kind of frivolous. Next to me, the serious wizard, you do not seem quite as... I do not know. Point is, HEX weaponizes potato jetpacks to attack people. I horrifically murder enemies with eldritch sorcery, including paragraphs of detail on how their bodies were slowly liquified internally, and spewed from their every orifice. Magic is not fun and games. Paying in blood, sweat, and tears is assuredly required. At the price of insanity, or other, far less desirable occurrences. Hah.
You know, not all magi have to be clones of you. And we agree that it is not fun and games. The problem is, is that you think everyone has to be your duplicate. I refuse to follow in those footsteps, and you pillory me for it.
Consider that there are other ways to look at things, than the way YOU look at things, and perhaps we both can consider new methods.
I really don't know why you think that your way is the only one, but I still intend to prove you wrong.

Disclaimer: Not a physicist.
No, the whole point is that the particles get through the shields by being really tiny and ignorable, hit an anti-magic zone or a proximity detector or a pretriggered signal and suddenly accelerate to Oh-My-God-Particle-like speeds. Which would blow a hole in a ship. That would hurt.
The LHC HAS ENOUGH ENERGY TO SUNDER SUBATOMIC BONDS.
If it suddenly lost containment while at top speeds, there would be some explosions all right. Not on that scale...But yeah.

That kind of thing does work sometimes, actually, although there's a relatively simple way of blocking it, involving a few thousand extremely intense electromagnetic fields rotating in opposite directions. Pretty much nothing working by normal physics gets through, at least within reasonable mass ranges. It does tend to tear up everything else in the area, though.
Incidentally, the OMG particle, on its own, only had the kinetic energy of, like, a fastball. Not much use against most things.
Also, the LHC uses a comparatively dense particle beam, not a few easily missed subatomic specks.

I'm reading DTG1 again (why not?) and I actually realized something, Leonstar had posted in DTG1! That makes him a veteran, although I don't think he stayed that long....

THE PROPHECY SEEMED FAR AWAY
BUT FINALLY WE'VE REACHED THE DAY
GIVE UP THE PAST, EMBRACE THE STRANGE

Tips? Keep two documents: one for stuff that is currently going on, and another that holds any stuff you have planned, and open both up whenever you're doing an update.
@maniac: Huh. Cool.
@net: He isn't saying all magi are clones of you, what he's saying is that in order to manipulate his magic, you have to follow its rules. You can't cut off his magic usage without following the correct rules for the magic system.
Okay, IDMG is a full planet of magi, wonderful. Problem is that still doesn't help you much. I can see where that would give you a boost, but you need to show that power in creative ways rather than trying to godmod your way through stuff. Your life will be much easier if you do that.
And I don't mean to cause an argument, but the counters you listed off are flawed.
Erelye's: You can't just teraport the Hazel wand, its got stupid amounts of wards on it, and trying to raw teraport a magical artifact without any sort of additional magical backing has a fair chance of shorting out the equipment before you can do anything.
Blue: yeah, fseftr already pointed out the problem with that one.
Piono's: Its harder to break a soulbond than that, because its directly integrated into the inventory system he has. You'd have to figure out some way to completely empty out his inventory, and then remove it from piono to even begin the process. And the more powerful piono gets, the harder it is to break the soulbonds. As for those other attacks, I don't think there's hardly any among our group those would work on.
I get that you've got a planet's worth of magi helping you, and although once you actually start demonstrating that effectively, it will put you on the scale, you aren't at the top of it.
It takes a very long time to get up there, and as several people have learned the hard way, actively trying to climb that ladder usually doesn't work.

I have a question: what perks do LVL 11+'s get?
It dosen't seem like they got new moves and such.

I'm hosting THE GAMER MAKER now. (ManiacMasteR's thread: you posted once)
It's my first experience as a GM: any tips?

I still own the thread. If you screw up, I shall hunt you down and bring you to the Nether.
