Okay. First of all, Twin said not to bother with the green text yet, and possible forever.
In the main thread I make my posts in green text just in case the Glitch starts glitching non-green posts and a critical post by me gets wasted.
I shouldn't do it in the forge though.
Paradox Space might be unfeeling and more of an animal, but it occurs to me that to be in the position where everyone is, even great amounts of power would require intelligence to guide everything. Being able to get twinbuilder killed even though he possessed an update terminal capable of warping and using its power? Serpent didn't have that kind of power, and the every-dimensional portal acted rather weird when he got summoned.
I personally think it would be interesting to have it be that the Narrative is actively engaging everything. The godmodder is a focus point of the Narrative, its using him to create more carnage. As such, to kill the godmodder permanently, you'd have to somehow kill the Narrative (which would make an amazing final fight if it were ever to hit the point that we decided to do a grand finale for DTG some day in the distant future)
But no, the Author is a good guy. He and the OP King are unable to participate in events directly BECAUSE of the Narrative. Well, to be honest, tid-bit about the author. The word that the name is taken from translates directly into Author, but a more accurate translation is probably Journalist or Historian.
You know, the current state of these forums and the editor being terrible? I mean sure it'll start out relatively fine, but it'll spiral out of control. I'm saying we could probably stand to switch to an alternative forum?
There's no need to move DTG elsewhere. Although, if we MUST, we could probably create a DTG forum via Proboards, but they're a bunch of Nazis when it comes to rules. So bleh.
Again, Paradox Space is more of a law of physics, honestly. I think Hussie may have even intended it to be as such. The best way to think of it is as Gravity; it's often referred to as a Harsh Mistress, but in a more factual sense that description is completely false. As we have not seen legitimate signs of intelligence from it (because power definitely isn't involved in what makes something alive), it's best to assume it's not even capable of thought to begin with.
As likewise can be said of the The Narrative...I'm of a mind to call 'The Narrative' an extremely fancy way of saying 'Fate' and leave it at that. Well, unless our lovely GM Twin has anything to say on the matter to close this case.
On the forum bit: I feel like it has to stay. The glitchy editor is a nessecary evil in this case-though I'd hope that we'd get that fixed in the near future.
Yeah, we should stay here. Unless somehow the game gets ridiculously large and we have to separate it into sub-threads to run it or something equally crazy, we should stay here. New people can find it that way.
And no, the Narrative isn't a fancy way of saying 'Fate'. Fate is what happens as a result of the timeline going onwards. You can change your fate (with great difficultly, and usually only with help at that) The Narrative uses Fate as just one of its many tools to make things "interesting".

Like the creation of the Hexahedron, the nature of the Narrative will be explained later on in this story. Don't get up in arguments about it.
I've created an entry on the wiki about the Glitch! Check it out there! Just search "The Glitch". It is a first draft, so feel free to edit it in the future.

Narrative (noun): A story or account of events, experiences, or the like, whether true or fictitious.
Done. Narrative explained, story over. We had a good run guys.
I've written the first chapter of a fanfic called Suits. It doesn't have full on shipping - YET - but it will in later chapters.

Chapter One: Friends
Your name is Richard Persson. You are a certain Godmodder, and you have had a long day.
To be honest, making every single player ragequit at once has been harder than you thought. Honestly, you're pretty sure the AGs are going to win, thanks to that Twinbuider who thinks he can command the narrative and all that. Honestly, he and Scratch are probably the most annoying people you know, in that respect. But it's been a fun ride. And it's not like you don't have tricks up your sleeve. In fact, you know someone who might say you have all of them.
Things have gotten more serious, though. The government's out for you now, and the rest of the players, too. Sure, you get a little bit of a thrill from being an outlaw and all, but things seem a little too… real. You never meant for every player to get executed at Binary's hands. Some days you just wish you could do something about it.
Some days you regret becoming who you are now.
And things have moved past just being a game. Piono has plans that could endanger the multiverse, and Serpent has something brewing too. You never really liked Serpent. So arrogant and self-assured and dangerous. And Engie eats universes… you're glad for an OP Scale.
Bill and Binary and the others… they must be stopped. As well as this Glitch thing. You're glad that it seems to not attack at late-night, at least right now... Gives you time to think.
Honestly, you've never considered the PGs as friends. Not even other players nice to you. Twin's the closest thing to a friend in this war. Just something about him. Odd. You really do feel... alone. Even in real life, even before this war, you've never felt a true since of having companions. But you have survived, and will. Who needs friends, anyway?
You suddenly wonder why the hell your sword is dissolving into glitchy fuzz. Dammit, that sword was a good one!
Your name is Astria Silvon. You go by Serpent, or Future The_Serpent. And you have worries beyond the average troll's dreams.
Riding a spaceship hurtling through the Furthest Ring and spacetime with an elf and a pseudo(?)human both wiser than you, both founders of the new IUPC along with you, as well as two people from Madness Combat isn't exactly an everyday activity, but you try to make the best of it. You've been trying to talk to Eric and Erelye a bit, make smalltalk, anything to speed this up. You've found Eric is quite the nice fellow, if a bit preoccupied and a bit distant.
"so, eric, how surprised were you when you first s/\w piono?" you ask, hoping to bring up a familiar topic and draw your own thoughts off... him. Piono. You're not usually a huge talker, but you'd rather not think about your pale crush and instead talk about the past. Yes, even his past.
Eric seems a bit distracted. He's obviously not himself, what with his entire world collapsing before him. You should stop crying or worrying and consider yourself lucky, you tell yourself.
Eric looks up. "Hmm. Well, you see, I met Piono on a server after I realized I created him. I was certainly surpised. At first, I was a bit scared, fearing consequences for it, perhaps. But I quickly became very joyful when I discovered I had created something beautiful." He shakes his head, and his eyes grow a little sad. "That was a long time ago."
You suddenly wish you hadn't asked. You know he can handle it, but still… "i… i'm sorry i h/\d to /\sk. i just-"
He interrupts you. "No. It's fine. I can face the facts. That Piono is gone. Only malevolence left now."
You stare at him, studying him. Finally, you rise. "/\nyone want a t/\b? they h/\ve these sug/\r elixirs on /\lterni/\ too."
Erelye and Eric stare incredulously at you for a couple seconds. Suddenly, both start laughing. You gratefully hand out TABs, as warm as they may be. You think you just might be making friends.
Your name is Piono. You are a Minecraftian. And you have plans that are in jeopardy.
Everything was going smoothly, save Vriska's betrayal. But that could be taken care of. The Arrival had unfortunate timing, though. It upset everything. And this Glitch is possibly ruining. You had thought it was foolproof, since Eric was gone and it was only a matter of time before your "allies" gave their assistance. You want to stab that fool Bill in the eye for what he's done. This could potentially be worse than Dimentio. Time to call someone up.
You quickly call Phobos up. "Phobos. It's Piono. What's going on out there? Outside of GodCraft?"
"Well, it... it isn't good. As you know, Eric's trying to crash his ship through our defenses or something equally suicidal. He'll probably die, but I can't guarantee it won't result in a lot of casualties for us. The Glitch is starting to spread, contaminating the outer reaches of GodCraft. Even the Creative Mode players on their little world are starting to see it. And no word from the OP King or Tricky. Probably because of Glitch interference."
You grimace. This could prove to be the end if you don't do something, fast. But luckily, you're an expert at doing things fast. You just have to play your cards right.
You decide you need to dial-up Blue. Maybe she can secure a ship for you, let you finish off Hank and Vriska.
"Hey, Blue. I need one of your small ships. No galactic tax, I need it now. Bill me later."
There's silence over the phone. You wait. Then Blue finally responds.
"Piono...
You want to buy one of my ships.
But.
You're not paying me for it?
Why should I sell you one.
If that is the case?"
"Blue, please. Give me the ship. I can explain later."
Blue sighs. "Fine.
Pick up your ship in 5 minutes.
And do pay me."
You are a little surprised it worked. You never thought Blue would be someone you could count on. You doubt she likes you much - not many do - but for a second it almost seemed like you had a friend. Weird. You've never fully understood relationships.
Your name is Astria Silvon. You go by (Present) The_Serpent, and you have no idea where the hell you are.
Very nice Serpent, and it's current too. But to-be-expected OOCness aside, if this is current, Blue's not really in a condition to be making deals, but whatever. Also, universal* tax.
You seem to be implying Blue and Piono will become friends, so good luck with that. If that will develop into full shipping, well, that'd be interesting.

I seriously doubt I would drink soda under any circumstances (real life or otherwise, as I hate the stuff), but otherwise, quite the exposition.
Also, sorry for the lack of activity here. I have been in livestream chats for the past few days in a row. However, this event has finally passed, and I may now return to this. Unless something comes up, that is.
