I know that you got it from FEZ twin, and I know that its just affecting Godcraft.
That has actually been two of my major points supporting what I've been saying: Stating the hexahedron to be the central computer for the multiverse doesn't work since breaking it only affects the localized area that its locked on to. What I've been saying (and what works with everything stated about except being the center of reality) is that it works better explaining it as a plot construct that holds together multiple different systems of science/magic without the need for an intermediary. Basically, its what's holding the Trifecta together by allowing all the universes within its range to be naturally compatible even though they aren't actually. Break that, the universes start breaking down because universes aren't inherently built to handle intrusions from other universes on a grand scale.
Like what's been happening since the start of DTG2.

I had other ideas for what held the Trifecta together, but that's actually a pretty good idea. Here, I'll compromise: the Hexahedron acts as the central computer for reality. BUT, when it breaks, it can only affect certain areas at a time, not all at once. Its primary job is to protect the Trifecta, since it's one of the most powerful regions of reality. Once it breaks, the Trifecta starts to break due to the reasons you said. However, right now, the Glitch is pretty much ONLY affecting GodCraft at this point. Once it's fully corrupted, it will start moving to the other universes of the Trifecta and continue from there.
I still don't think having it as the central computer for reality works. For the simple fact of: If Bill Cipher could get at it just like that, reality would've been destroyed a long, long time ago.
Also, the central computing unit for reality would have to be something originating from outside a single universe. Reality existed before the universes did, no?
Compiling the thing together (plus some answers as to why my stuff would still make sense in this new context): the hexahedron is one of many computational constructs utilized by the Narrative to keep tabs on everything. This one acts as the computational unit over the crossover things (what gave me that idea was that FEZ is based around a 2-D person acting in a 3-D world, which is the sort of non-compatibility that the hexahedron would be solving here) and because its not the be-all-end-all to the multiverse, it only affects certain areas at a time, not all at once. Its primary job is to protect the Trifecta since its currently the most powerful region of reality. Once it breaks, the Trifecta begins to break because the Hexahedron is no longer holding it together, but right now, its pretty much only affecting Godcraft (and Vriska's having troubles because Paradox Space's tendency to time-stuff leaking is putting the Glitch's interference in her Incipisphere in way earlier than it should be) at this point. The more the corruption rises, the more it leaks to other universes.

You have a good point there, but let's just chalk it up to the fact that at this point, the Void's resources and defenses are pretty scattered thanks to all the dimensionsl calamities the war has caused.
You are correct in saying that. In fact, although I borrowed the Hexahedron from Fez, its creation in DTG2 has nothing to do with Fez... This will be explained later.
OK, guys, I think now is a legitimate time to make all text Glitch-Proof, as a precautionary measure. Let's not waste turns, Player Integrity's going down the drain really fast!
Well, the Void is the place isn't it? (not starting an argument, just clarifying at some small details since we're in agreement) And the Narrative's basically the closest equivalent to omniscient/omnipotent in the multiverse. I figured the massive lack of proper stabilization was BECAUSE of the Narrative.
The Narrative's basically screwing with absolutely everything for kicks and giggles, and it facilitates conflict for the purpose of 'stories'. Its the reason universes revert to their original state under most circumstances. Its also the reason enough contrived coincidences happened to start up the godmodder wars. Think Paradox Space (as the entity that controls the zone, creating paradoxes to feed itself) times however much bigger the multiverse is than Paradox Space (which is a lot)
At least, that's my take on it. What did everyone else think the Narrative was?

He's updating it gradually. He missed a lot of days previously, so he's tallying those turns up. You're going to have to be patient for the echeladder.

I treat the Narrative (and Paradox Space) as nonsentient-it cannot think at all. It feels more like a Law of Physics than anything, specifically one that keeps Destiny on track. It's less rigid than Paradox Space, though; Waluigi Thyme and Update Terminals are two ways to alter the course, and Author Powers can (presumably) override it entirely.
So, the Author is screwing us over through his presumed control over the Narrative moreso than the Narrative itself.
But why is Dave's hair a bird? How did the bird get there? Why hasn't it flown off yet? Did Dave glue the bird to his head? Owls are supposed to be smart, but neither of those two are looking like geniuses on this one.
I have started work on an entry for The Glitch on the wiki. It may be a while before it is complete. I though that, since the Glitch has returned on DTG 2, it deserves a page of its own.
Okay. First of all, Twin said not to bother with the green text yet, and possible forever.
Secondly, this is the forge thread.
Thirdy, cool, good luck with that.
