I fix them and/or insure that the anchoring for the bridge on this side is strong and tell them, "I have to check the other side."
There is just enough room between the bridge and the lava falls to do this. I take the first step onto the bridge and swing myself over the side under it, grabbing one of the ropes underneath it, thus, putting no strain onto the structure...but this might... My Jump Kit fires up, and swiftly pushes me along to the end. *CRACK*Crap.
One of the supports on the far side cracks. In response, I flip myself over the bridge with the assistance of my Jump Kit and adjust my trajectory. I have enough momentum and I'm close enough that a mid-air boost is enough to get me all he way to the other side, but I hit the ground hard, tumbling a bit before stopping.
"You okay?!" Pionoplayer yells from across the bridge.
"I'm fine!" I reply.
I examine my boot. The tip is covered with stone, and I'm badly burnt, but I still have a job to see through. I secure the bridge and pull the ropes taught after fixing the broken support by grafting my Copper Sword to both ends of it.
"The bridge is stable!" I yell to the other side, "just watch the planks!"
-5 hp to me. Someone else has to heal it.
Dangit, Strudelkitty, you have like 5 weapons, go and kill all these weird chess pieces.
I continue bashing the Mighty Wallopper at the Pawns. Oh, and I think you forgot to update my equipped items, Scratch. I've upgraded my Pottery Prosecutor to the Mighty Wallopper using the Generic Charged Object III.
I run back to the entrance of the room and use a bandage. (from the group stockpile)

Hey Doc. I think you misjudged something. First post 500 damage was fine, having a fire resistant carapace and all, but there is no way in the nether i believe you that when in my second post last turn that hitting a pawn over his head with a titanium sided flamethrower did only 500 damage.

Right now, all you need to know is that the GM, TwinBuilder, was murdered, and a certain nearly omniscient, nearly omnipotent, cue-ball headed, manipulative excellent host named Doc Scratch has taken over the thread. Wr have to escape his manor so we can go back to fighting the Godmodder. You can help some of us fight chess pieces in the Game Room on the 2nd floor, or help others navigate an extremely hazardous Gauntlet in the Basement. You could also try to help Nimbleguy and Dimentiosome solve the mystery of the coordinate finder mechanism. It's up to you.

Wilson pressed the small pressure plate with the letter Q on it. A q appeared on the screen inside the middle white rectangle. So this device was used to interact with things on the screen. After more experimentation, Wilson discovered that some of the pressure plates had other functions, such as removing letters already on the screen or inserting a space. The pressure plate with a small upwards arrow allowed him to input uppercase letters. Now, there was probably some kind of code that he needed to put in to continue.
