Gutter charge (8/8) (In case there's some kind of need for an attack before Trial 6. End time subject to change. +1 from Talist.) Hooray...
With all due haste, and nothing else to do, I snap my fingers, and the power of an eight-post charge will cause the first attack against an AG Player and Entity-ANY of them-to fail. But there's only one, so this will only do good once. Eh. Better than nothing. Oh, and the shield is made of gutters. Because it's a Gutter charge. Bad pun.
I'd go help Wilson, but the Godmodder is still there...Can't let my guard down. Could be any minute now...Any minute...
Additionally, he was smart enough to never get involved directly with the godmodder.
As for the others... Some of Discworld came with us, some didn't.
Not sure who though.
((net: I suck at dialogue, so I can't do the characters justice. They're there, some of them at least, Tiffany Aching and Granny Weatherwax are both in there somewhere, as is Vimes. Beyond that I don't have anything solid in my head, and I don't want to bring any out because I'm going to butcher the dialogue. Especially with Vetinari. Maybe some other time.))

They're all further inside, in the cargo holds.
The TARDIS is huge now, we've practically got a small country in its interior now.

Where are we going?
Well, once we finish up here, I'm going to be dropping everyone who has a specific destination they wish to go to off where they want to go.
A lot of people will probably return to their home universes, but some people won't be afraid to stick around.
There's an out-of-the-way spot with some impressive natural void shielding, and near perfect natural conditions.
The plan is to head there and set up the home base of the IUPC.

Eh. Bunches of alternate timelines and non-canon fanfic universes out there anyway, just jump into one of those. Heck, some theories out there say that a 'real' canon is involate and the mere attempt to enter a Zero-Zero-Alpha splay, to use the terminology, splits off a new universe fragment where you actually manage to enter. Of course, this is for any universe where multiversal interaction isn't an accepted part of its plot anyway like this Trifecta. I prefer to use that theory though, wouldn't want to mess up any plotlines with my reckless jumping.
I quickly send a small teleport beacon/homunculus/astral projection/golem (Fits all those categories, mainly) into the TARDIS so I can approximate these multiple-character people, and also so I can (possibly) get in there once Armageddon's done.

Point. But seriously, if things were that far gone, who would even be left alive?
UU would have been eaten by the Dungeon Dimensions.
The Watch would be trying to keep rioting down and Vimes wouldn't leave in the middle of THAT. Nor Carrot. Or a lot of the Watch, they're dedicated.
Vetinari would...Probably still hold on, but similarly to the Watch, he's dedicated to the city.
Agatea...Hmm. Are we talking pre-Last Hero or post? Because if Cohen et al are still around, they'd most likely win. Or Granny Weatherwax would show up. Or Elf King/Queen fight.
Or the gods would be intervening like heck. Maybe the Frost Giants would even return the lawnmower and help. I just doubt any plot that makes refugees out of Discworld characters.

Net. Complete and utter destruction isn't always something that comes quickly.
Extended battles as the gods of other worlds attempt to encroach on the area of the gods of Discworld, along with major catastrophes.
The wizards, witches, and any other magical users under any name would know things were up, AND be able to find portals away.
Because this would be the kind of thing that leads to a downward spiral ending with Great A'Tuin being obliterated, and they would be able to see it coming from a mile away.
Discworld's not a thing anymore, it's too fragile a magical ecosystem, and the upsetting balance would tip EVERYONE off. And lord Vetinari would listen to the UU wizards if even THEY start packing up. The old fat men that don't do much unless needed start preparing to leave the world in a hurry? Full evacuation of the city.
Followed by complete and utter chaos as they run into a world that is not very friendly.
Narrative interfering comes in above all though, so which characters survive the unfortunate series of events is basically up to whoever claims them.

By drop elfland I meant "manifest as a physical object and drop from the sky"
But yeah, a gradual apocalypse, with things steadily growing spectacularly worse, and all available methods of evacuation being both used and fairly unreliable? Only those favored by the narrative would survive.
So basically, Discworld got wrecked, and because of that, everyone who left before the Narrative did a plotline reboot (As I'm now going to call it. By the way crystal, when you step into a world, it DOES disrupt the plotline, but the Narrative snaps everything back once the 'crossover event' ends.) is out and wandering about the multiverse.
I've called dibs on Vetinari, Vimes and Tiffany. And what the heck, Carrot and Angua too. This is pre-emptively for future DTG sessions by the way, I'm not going to use them yet.
Either way, I'm assuming that we're making canon Crystal's idea of multiplot theory? Because I kind of want to do a Disc-Prime now. where they were capable of beating back whatever it was that happened to them in your version. After all, it's only the right inspiration particle hitting.

Well, I don't know. That theory only really applied to one universe/sub-universe, but I liked it so much I picked it up and started thinking of travels in that way.
No, no it doesn't. Using the multiplot theory would screw up literally every mechanic I've used in determining the multiverse backstory up until now.
How it works is this:
There's the individual universes right? Each one representing a given story (sometimes changing for short periods of time to reflect alternate versions or fanfics of the work). Sometimes things from other universes or outside of the universes comes in in what is called a Crossover Event. The Crossover Event changes up the universe's timeline (and thus fundamentally disrupting the original plot) as the interlopers interact with the universe itself.
Sometimes people leave the universe, sometimes the die off, but whatever the cause, once all exterior traces of the crossover have been purged in one way or another, the Narrative resets the universe back to its original timeline. Any people who had left their universe in the meantime will still be out in the multiverse, but the Narrative will generate a 'new' version of them, that takes their place in the story.
So, in our Discworld example, Discworld is spiraling towards ultimate destruction, right? Once that ultimate destruction has taken place, the Narrative, having no use for the universe since the story within it is beyond ANY hope of repair, will slowly dissolve the Discworld 'verse. At the same time, the Discworld 'verse will be reforming somewhere else in the multiverse, but back the way it originally was before the crossover event happened.
Doomed timelines are not something that multiple writers can use without it getting sloppy and invoking bad writing. Professional writers get it wrong so often, and we aren't professionals, so my preference would be to keep doomed timelines that aren't an innate part of the setting being used out of the picture.
No doomed timelines for the multiverse, the Void, or other such things. That would basically allow anyone and everyone all the retcon powers they want on other people's storylines. So yeah, I don't think we want to use it.
Realized I'm coming off as a bit aggressive, so sorry about that, just trying to explain how it works, and why I've been trying to avoid doomed timelines becoming a thing beyond the occasional gag and stuff that's been involving Paradox Space.
