As I said a few pages ago, I'm retconning the side-character deaths, and I plan for this Trial to be more than "Destroy the X". You guys ARE going to get to fight Psi-Scratch. This is just letting you get ready to fight him. And trust me, when you fight him, it will be much more complex than a standard battle. I apologize for not being clear and going out of line on certain things, but I plan to make this Trial enjoyable. Let's see if it works.
... If this is your plan to make me use it... Eh. I'll wait on it. Even though I'm dead.
Okay then. I take out the Sparklers and decide that this place sucks, and attempt to ollie outie the afterlife. Unless I'm legitimately dead. And the Sparklers don't work in the afterlife. Hm. Anyways, I attempt to apologize to the Godmoder for stalking him accidentally. And attempt to look for the Godmodder's current location.
Well if I've got to attack this stupid pile of rock, I might as well erode it. I toss the Pale Octet at it, and steal its luck to empower myself further.

The Godmoder gets your message and accepts your apology begrudgingly.
The Godmodder is currently shrunk down to the size of a pea and is trying to get out of a tuba floating in the Void.

A waterfall spontaneously appears and a Magikarp jumps over it, embedding itself in the rocks of Limbo! Nothing happens, but the Magikarp instantly dies and becomes a withered husk. Its soul appears behind you and flops around.
I use the Ender Orb to attempt to glitch holes in the Guardian's armor, then shoot it with the Hard-Light Gun.
I then use all of the gear I have to launch an assault on any newly revealed points if I even revealed any, and roll the Heavenly Octet for added irony damage.
Indeed.
You use the Ender Orb and Hard-Light Gun, dealing 35,000 damage to the Limbo Gatekeeper!
All of you have barely made a dent in the armor!

A column of golden shuriken appear and fling themselves at the Gatekeeper, dealing 5,000 damage!

"I only just noticed, but apparently I'm in True Form mode. And speaking normally."
Indeed, instead of a drone, the all-too-familiar sight of a large sphere of gray hovers in the... space... of limbo. Rather frustratingly, the OP scale still applies. I give it a nasty look, then use Battle Technique Level 10: Maximalist, targeting the only valid target available to me - the Gatekeeper.
"Hmm. Quite interesting, being here. Reminds me of my first home. Before... things."

I HHHH the GATEKEEPER! Wait, if souls go to limbo, what is my job in the NETHER?!
This is bad. Real bad. I get a Gatekeeper to guard the Gatekeeper. However, this Gatekeeper betrays and attacks the other Gatekeeper it was protecting!
You equip the Warhammer of Zillyhoo and raise it into the air, spheres of rainbows forming around itself that glow with power. Suddenly, a bright white light appears and you are equipped with the other legendary weapons of cherubim folklore: the Battlespork of Zillywut, Flintlocks of Zillyhau, Cutlass of Zillywair, Blunderbuss of Zillywigh, and the Thistles of Zillywich. You use all of their combined Trickster power to deal 30,000 damage to the Gatekeeper!

Let's give him the full roundabout. Shame we don't have the Magnum with us for this, would have been so useful. First and foremost, For Glory on the Gatekeeper, followed by an unceremonious test-drive with the Hawking's Miss through the stomach of the guy. Pain, as much as possible.
Yes.
HAWKING'S MISS: A jagged sword that is asymmetrical and has several missing chunks cut from its form. I draw the Hazel Wand. My mind is completely and utterly set on this task. The Owl Pendant shall come into the possession of the Players, and the Players as a group. I point the Hazel Wand at the Limbo Gatekeeper, uttering spells powerful enough to crush stars in moments. We may as well start big, to expedient our return. It must be as swift as possible. At this rate, the Employer will probably be there upon our return. Violet tendrils of energy wrap around the Limbo Gatekeeper, pulsing energy into its armor at such a heat and velocity as to hopefully melt and/or dissolve it in moments. Amethyst bolts of energy accelerate through whatever existential fabric holds dominion here, arcane power rending oxygen mere ozone in quite a distance. This ozone is instantaneously teleported into the nearest cavity within the Limbo Gatekeeper. Preferably, it is the one within the stomach, but I know nothing of this creature's physiology. Amethyst energy wraps itself around the Gatekeeper. Arcane magic attempts to tear the very being of the Limbo Gatekeeper into the realms of nonexistence. Speaking of Limbo inhabitants, perhaps Split will help us. Regardless of what Split may or may not do, I flick the Hazel Wand swiftly and carefully, precisely bringing forth a curse to assault the Gatekeeper. It is a curse of eternal annihilation. The parameters of the curse's activation are broad, mysterious, and dependent on the case of the afflicted individual. Occult whispers echo throughout whatever plane of Limbo we are currently in, degrading whatever mind the Limbo Gatekeeper previously had, if any, to little more than a withered mess. Of course, the energy passes through the Armor to reach the brain, assuming it exists. If not, the magics merely tear into the Armor itself. The aforementioned occult power begins to take hold, slowly manipulating the area around us all. A tempest of eldritch fury descends upon the fearsome Gatekeeper, obscuring it in a blaze of pure darkness. Liquid shadow pours from the general area of the obfuscation zone in absurd amounts. The pure combination of vastly different types of sorcery causes the Limbo Guardian to erupt in an explosion of wild energies bereft of any order or reason. The arcane powers tear at the Limbo Guardian for several minutes, before violently combusting into several distinct unadulterated inkfires within and upon the Limbo Guardian.

I read the next chapter, completely unaware of what will occur several hours in my future.
Before long, the other students dutifully filed into the grand hall of the college. They were some of the most studious and erudite children the complacency of wizards in command of the institution had ever laid their wisdom-saturated gazes upon. Alas, it was a mild facade, most of the time. The mentors of the children proceeded to fill the seats aside Zazzerpan. Calmasis smiled to a girl who sat beside hir. Her raven hair was rather misplaced amongst the festive colors of her attire: a silken red scarf draped across her shoulders which led to a forest green-accented dress, lacking of sleeves. An old friend, Kanry. She was permitted to wear whatever apparel she desired, as long as she actually created the clothing herself. She stroked her scarf, smiling back at Calmasis.
~5 hours later...
Nine Sburb players panic, frantically rushing across one side of the meteor, to the other, attempting to find some reason or answer. One of their number is completely and utterly dead on the ground of the place. That person happened to be their leader, and their friend, more importantly. He is dead, without any doubt. Me. Nobody knows why. The nine search everything in the facility, but find nothing, save my active computer, connected to Minecraft. It was not a liability before, so they assume it was not my cause of death. Mister Kodros takes the initiative to examine the skies as an answer. He gazes up, standing upon a rooftop. Red waves ripple across the Void, away from their present location. Virnul exclaims a series of imprecations in a rather colorful fashion.
This... this is terrible... just dreadful... and I'm not even speaking from inside the story... There are so many things with this that hurt me ever so much... I'm actually in IRL tears right now... so, ramble rant number 7 or so... go...
1: MORE HOMESTUCK! For the love of RNGesus, when is it enough? I've been told so many times its over but it just keeps on coming!
2: This is basically saying "rocks fall, everyone dies". It makes very little sense story wise. If the Disc of Mojang is that powerful, several problems come up, such as why is it not better protected? Why did we have to defend it for several turns for it to do something far less powerful? And that would mean we just lose. Strait up. Gone. After that, no matter what we do to "save the day heroically" is going to be even more far fetched than the problem we started out with. If the Disc can do that, there's logically NOTHING we can do, provided Scratch has any sense in operating that thing. This is just randomly BOOM! Everything is dead.
3: You said that the field has just been wiped. Great. My shortest lived summon ever now isn't Yang anymore. ho-freaking-ra. And freakn' CogWynd hasn't even finished a full cycle yet. Why do I even bother putting in my time and effort coming up with cool entity ideas? They're just going to die in three turns, get hit by a massively overpowered stunlock, or get over ridden by some story event. That's a total of 4 concepts wasted. And then when I summon in my ultimate entity with all the thought, balancing equations, game history references, counterplay, and even Plutchik's theory of emotions put in, its probably just going to have more rocks fall on it... and it will be dead. Just like all the others.
4: I don't care what any dialog text says, THIS. IS. THE. VORD! But worse! When I hated the vord and said I wanted something else, I wanted a change of type, not a change of scale! This is the same thing as the vord! "Whack target X until it dies". That's the only objective! Again, like the vord, we don't have entities to put in our own complexity. This is the ultimate railroading! And this time, we don't even have the choice of keepers or croach. (which, we didn't have enough information about to make logical choices, so it was really just preference.)
5: Scratch's Manor was bad, but there you had some choices on where to go. The vord were bad, but there you had a few very similar entities to kill. And in both of those, you could always fall back on RP. But here, Twin, I'm sorry to say it, but you just seem to have gone "I see you like making entities, doing RP, branching out characters, NO! You don't get any of that now! You'll have fun my way!" But... I don't have fun your way. Why do you have to say "oh, and all your side characters are dead too"? Why? Just why? It makes NO logical sense. It doesn't make sense storywise or gameplay wise. Story wise, how does Scratch know the exact identities of every side character? Like Inari. Wilson is the only person who knows of her existence. You could say something like its finding them via tracing our character's relations, but Wilson has no strong relation to me. He isn't under Talist's command, he doesn't follow Talist's footsteps, he doesn't even know who Talist is. I don't really know either. But now Wilson's dead. She's dead too. Everyone is dead Dave. EVERY. ONE. IS. DEAD. DAVE. References... yay... Gameplay wise, all you're doing is giving people fewer options to enjoy the game with.
6: I don't care about the storyline. I don't care about saving multiverses. I don't care about the scale of my actions. I just want some cool mechanics and maybe some RP via Wilson. I couldn't care less about having the fate of everything in my hands. If I had the choice between playing Tic Tak Toe for the fate of the universe or playing chess for the fate of a dime, I'd take chess. Every time. I could have made Wilson a god, a universe eater, a breaker of worlds or anything else. But no, I intentionally made him very, weak. Wilson's sidequest, the DreamScape, was, sadly, the highlight of this game for me. I built almost the perfect game for me. And all of it was fighting against one deep down fear of one tiny character. If I get good mechanics, I don't care about the scale of my actions. But, everyone else seems obsessed with big flashy shows, so I try to toss in the other whenever I can.
7: Finally, Twin, how exactly do you hope people will play this challenge? I know you dislike charges and entities, TT2000 did as well. You said yourself that the "point" of the game was coming up with creative attacks. If you hope that people will fight this encounter like that, then you've gone and shot yourself in the foot. Even with just a cursory examining of the mechanics, clearly the best way to deal damage is to use very unoriginal attacks, thanks to the Spoil of War system, the alchemy system, and the Echladder. The most damage is to just rotate saying "I use spoil X on Y" and "I use attack Z on Y". With actually original attacks, the best you can hope for seems to be to tie for damage. Ereyle puts in lots of effort into his attacks, but honestly I don't think its worth the effort. People are just going to use their same alchemies, their same spoils, their same attacks.
Sigh... Sorry again for this. I want to enjoy this game, I really do. You saw how quickly I came back once the vord were dead. But why must must it always get so dumbed down? Entities add complexity both for their summoners and their opponents, but why do people seem to hate them? I guess with a fanbase this big, the game has to be big and dumb to be manageable. But Twin, remember when you sent me that private message and said, and I quote, "From there, [the end of trail 3] the gameplay will be kicked up a notch, with no more bugs to kill,". I guess you were right about the second part. But this... this is not a gameplay improvement. This is a gameplay downgrade. And I instantly hate it for that. I sure do hope you have something up your sleeve to make this even remotely better than the freaking vord. I know this will eventually end and everyone will be revived by the power of the magical fairies or whatever. You told me indirectly yourself. But until then, I'm playing the vord again. And the manor. Sigh... I use the Glitch Wrench in the most generic and damaging way possible on big fat wall of HP X. Maybe then this will be over sooner.
I guess I'll end with this. When I look at concepts, I naturally break them down into their bare elements. And when I look through all the fluff, all the saving the multiverse and destroy Psi-Scratch nonsense, I see the vord. The same bloody thing.
1. This is the last time Homestuck is going to directly, up-in-your-face, mess with the plot. The plotline of the four kids has yet to be resolved, but that will not effect gameplay.
2. The Disc of Mojang can do anything, but only once. Don't expect another instant-kill again.
3. No entities have died, and they're all back on the Battlefield. I guess I should have been clearer on that. In addition, I have decided that you WILL be able to summon entities in this fight, but considering that Psi-Scratch is going to be ridiculously powerful, you'll have to defend them.
4. I felt like I should start this off simple to ease you guys into it, but in hindsight, this is a rehash of the Vord. At least, THIS battle. From here on out, this will start getting much different than the Vord, and much different than "deal a lot of damage to X."
5. I've retconned that.
6. I understand.
7. If you use the same few attacks and weapons over and over, they're going to get nerfed. Look at gutza; he's using the same few alchemies over and over and now they deal minimum damage. Others who commonly use Special Attacks will have their power nerfed each successive time they use them. (And this is starting to apply to Spoils of War as well.) I try to reward creativity, but I guess I haven't been doing that enough. You're right about that.
My plan with this trial goes beyond "deal a lot of damage to X", as I've said above. If you don't want to stick around to watch, I accept that. I acknowledge that I really dropped the ball on this. But if you want to stay and see this turn around, then you can.
The Glitch Wrench ends up tapping directly into the sacred powers of Limbo and morphs into a giant cannon forged from tetrominoes! Humming with great power, you end up firing a single charged shot of pure golden energy at the Gatekeeper, knocking it backwards! 50,000 damage!
For the first time in several months, both halves of my Split are in one place and not actively fighting everything within ten kilometers. Zand casually leaps to the top of Amp's demimech armor and sits down comfortably, maroon eyes shining curiously through his own visor.
"What an unusual place."
"Pretty sure we've been here before."
"Have we? I apologize, my command of our memory is inferior."
"Yep. Here or someplace fairly similar. We got out last time."
"How... Optimistic. I hope we can repeat that achievement."
"Indeed. Say, can I borrow the functioning body for a while? This one's getting onerous."
"Certainly."
There is a moment of strangeness, and then the one with less armor has dark blue eyes, rather than maroon.
"Thank you kindly."
"I find I understand your request better now. This is most unpleasant."
"Yep. Let's get to the fighting."
Both parties turn towards the Gatekeeper, weapons raised.
"Suggested tactics?"
"CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE!"
"I wonder if such weapons as ours will even work on a foe like this? ...Ah, well. DAKKADAKKADAKKA!"
{Alsochargystuff. And +1x2 to Erelye.}
The Anachron:
The attack comes from everywhere and everything simultaneously, and yet the defenses of the Third Manufactory hold against omniscipotence itself for the minutest fraction of an instant before failing. Enough time for the Control Core to make a decision. As every shield generator and damping field core detonates in an instant, the Crew compartments are freezing solid, cryogenic fluids pouring from the ducts to preserve two million sophonts of various species from bodily decay while their souls wait for help. Doctor Ilyen, brilliant and sociopathic, the surviving two hundred Children of Armok, some of them just beginning to recover from four generations of psychological conditioning, more than a hundred thousand recent infants, born aboard Anachron and innocent of all but simple bad luck, freed slaves, delighted in their new home, all dead in an instant by the will of Doc Scratch and suspended in ice hard as steel, tissues burned by the cold. The Control Core, however, was unable to preserve both itself and the Crew in the given interval, and has been burned to slag. H3-TAC is reduced to a few automated protocalls, ticking over system checks and maintaining the surviving reactors, all sentience charred into the true nothingness knowable only by machines. A crippling blow to High Manufactory Anachron, to lose all defenses and its sentient computer at the same instant as the crew, but it will abide, as it has all previous setbacks.
Reality, or at least an approximation of such:
The Unremarkable Man's armor, detecting an inexplicable cessation of EKG readings in its pilot, runs its medical system through a careful procedure, forces its limbs into a fetal position, and ices the interior, preserving the pilot and a number of the more delicate systems until an explanation arrives. A simple recording explains as much of what has transpired as the suit itself knows to anything and everything within earshot, along with a polite request not to open it back up without the correct codes.
On the life-bearing planet below, a rather un-Usual youngish man has, rather unexpectedly, gone quite stubbornly comatose, and, given the current untrustworthiness of the authorities, is being taken care of by concerned family members. How strange, one would expect death, given every other example of the results. How very, very strange.

I continue to wield the Hazel Wand. Obviously, I did not put it away. This is quite a dangerous area, and such things would be akin to inhaling aerosol, which is, of course, fatal. Disregard that specific example. It is the first thing that came to mind. Anyhow, I point the wand at the Limbo Gatekeeper. A flowing stream of ink bursts from the tip of the wand, accelerating towards the Gatekeeper at relativistic speeds. The liquid ink functionally acts in a manner akin to the Liquid Aura commonly attributed to the activation of the Black Ring. It is essentially the same thing, utilized in a combat situation. It is abnormally effective against beings akin to this Gatekeeper, but that does not necessarily mean that it will function in the manner I desire. This has never been the case, and it hopefully never will be. The liquid ink splashes into the Gatekeeper, flowing within the Armor of the creature/being. The ink within the armor begins to flow with the now-distant power of the Inky Abyss. Regardless, the potency of the abyss-infused ink is an ineffable fact. What transpires within the dark liquid, however, is not. The liquid befuddles the vast majority of players with its esoteric ways. The liquid appears to be a tool of the mad, paradoxical, even. But, this is not the case. Several things are occurring within the liquid at once to make it appear so. The liquid, fused with the Armor, begins to degrade the structure of the protection of the Limbo Gatekeeper immensely, or at least to the extent I am capable of. At this point, the liquid is inviting a variety of telekinetic manipulations to take place. Suddenly, the Limbo Gatekeeper pulses pale, white energy for a moment, before disappearing. The ink, imbued with the essence of the Inky Abyss, takes a drastic action. The ink suddenly obtains heretofore unexplained corrosive abilities, and proceeds to dissolve the outer layers of the Limbo Gatekeeper's Armor within a minute. A simply prodigious swiftness in this context. Pure inky magic slowly warps the Limbo Gatekeeper into a highly unrecognizable form bereft of any offensive capabilities whatsoever. Whilst this occurs, I fire multiple bolts of violet energy from the Hazel Wand. The blasts contain pure, unadulterated primal Vis in a concentrated bolt less than a foot in diameter. Pure arcane power tears at the Limbo Gatekeeper from within, dealing just as much internal damage as occurred to the being externally.
Grayhold Citadel, approx. 00:57
The shockwaves emanate from every distinct location, and yet nowhere, simultaneously. Immediately, the hundreds of wards, spells, and essentia-powered systems in the fortress divert all possible energy to defense. This sudden boost in energy permits the fortress a moment of time, a singular fraction of a minute instant, before failing utterly. Auxiliary power systems are all drained in an effort to sustain the inhabitants of the fortress for mere fractions of a nanosecond. This is, of course, enough time to power up the emergency systems. Remember that 50-post charge I so aptly titled 'preparation?' It was designed for just this sort of apocalyptic event. Upon the draining of nearly every thaum of arcane power, and every volt of electricity, the core systems of the device designed in the charge activate. The entirety of the fortress rumbles and shudders from within, due to the influence of the red inferno. The crisis at hand is urgent. Every ward, every defense system, every spell, every device, and every power generation device diverts all energy to this device, resting at the core of the fortress. It immediately activates. The lower portions of the fortress within the Void have already begun to collapse and crumble into the abyss. In a singular instant, a moment composed of less time than the fractions of nanoseconds aforementioned, the device runs. Every single room left, and thusly their inhabitants, are placed in temporal stasis for an indefinite period, effectively saving everything left, and projecting an energy boost somewhere else with the remaining energy. The device, never having undergone such a monumental task, explodes, blowing a hole through a secondary support structure in the western side of the citadel. The majority of the western side of Grayhold Citadel collapses on itself, with minimal casualties, as that area was vacated quite some time prior (during Intermission 3) due to the Taint spreading in the area in toxic quantities. The fortress remains, crippled, without a defense system, and without anything to stop it from collapsing on itself. But it remains.

"He is not so great," Calmasis responded. "Professor Zazzerpan can be... extremely loquacious. Sometimes I get lost in my thoughts during his garrulous homilies."
The Furthest Ring, approx. 00:57
On the meteor, the waves come silently. The red inferno would kill everyone within. There are no defenses. However, the red death is met by some inexplicable barrier; that of the final throes of the Grayholdian device. The machine diverted the entirety of its auxiliary power in an attempt to save the physical form its creator. The barrier, however, is not supported by hundreds of spells, wards, and other devices/generators. There is one source of energy capable of sustaining it, and it just so happens to be infinitely reusable. As I collapse to the ground, evidently stricken dead by the waves, the Hazel Wand exits my Sylladex, due to a large amount of ~ATH programs designed quite some time ago. The bronze rod rolls out of my dead grasp. Rigor mortis does not appear to have set in. The wand rolls across the floor for several seconds. Suddenly, amethyst light bursts from it with absurd intensity, hypercharging itself with the Inky Abyss, the vast amounts of energy granted by the gods of the Furthest Ring, and, strangely, the unlimited fury of the Green Sun. These separate forces are all diverted from the Wand to the barrier within a fraction of a fraction of an instant. The energy is just enough to preserve the barrier for a second. Suddenly, large bursts of energy arrive from the Furthest Ring. The highest echelons of the Noble Circle of Horrorterrors, who themselves are both omniscient and omnipotent, grant a large amount of eldritch power for the defense of the meteor. I did not fulfill the entirety of my servitude under them, and they desire it in its whole, though they do not care about my life. The meteor shudders and pulsates, the nine remaining beings living in the place sleeping. The energy is only just enough to sustain the nine. Pure arcane fury rains down upon the meteor in the form of the barrier shards, the threat averted for the present. The first of the nine living beings, five elven, four human, wake up around an hour later, and enter the common room, causing a major commotion upon scrutinizing my corpse.
POPSICLEHANDS: A set of powerful gloves that have the combined powers of water, air, and ice. Since the gloves are partially made of water, this water can be frozen to turn the gloves into icy gauntlets. In addition, the gloves have limited power over weather, creating clouds and spewing forth water and ice from them.
I take a minute to reminisce about the fun times i had with Robo-Me. The laughs, the cries, the times two entities were [BEEP]blocked for no reason except comedy but doesn't hold any meaning anymore because of the shift in the story, and all the times we did science together. Great times.
THEN i Wither the Limbo Gatekeepers armor, as well as Uber and Crit Irecreeper with the No Joke.

A giant U+26DF ⛟ runs him over, followed by a U+1F685 🚅, a U+1F68C 🚌, a U+1F695 🚕 and even a U+1F69C 🚜! This is followed by a corrosive U+1F4A9 💩 falling on his armor, followed by a bunch of U+1F759 🝙 and a U+1D18F 𝆏. Then, a U+1F6E6 🛦 drops a massive U+1F4A3 💣 on him that explodes on impact, followed by a U+1F574 🕴 tying it to a U+1F6E4 🛤, followed by the U+1F574 🕴 disappearing and a giant U+1F682 🚂 running him over. A U+1F692 🚒 runs him over and sprays fluoroantimonic acid on the Gatekeeper.
If you didn't get what just happened: I synthesized an AC current with a voltage of three trillion volts and connected the Gatekeeper to a ground wire, then connected the current and gave the Gatekeeper a massive electric shock. I then forced him to eject his heart, then summoned up an atom bomb that exploded the Gatekeeper. I then stabbed holes in the Gatekeeper's armor using a double-sharp dagger, then summoned a fire burning at trillions of Kelvin to melt the armor. Next, a fist punches it, sending him flying into a spike. Then, the symbols for the entire solar system telefragged the Gatekeeper, then an anchor slammed into him with a velocity of 30,000 m/s, followed by a tiger and a leopard with radioactive acid fangs cutting holes through the Gatekeeper's armor. Then, an arrow flies straight through his armor, followed by a truck, a bullet train, a bus, a taxi and a tractor running it over. Then, a corrosive pile of dung falls on his armor, followed by a bunch of bricks and a piano. Then, a fighter plane drops a massive bomb on it that explodes on impact, followed by a levitating man in a buisness suit tying it to a railroad track before disappearing. A giant train runs the Gatekeeper over, followed by a fire engine that sprays fluoroantimonic acid onto him.

I really hope we kept our alchemies. If not, I'm officially pulling out.
You kept your entire inventory, don't worry.

A single Hard-Light Array arrives at the gates of the Conclave, with none of the trimmings, but a data dump for Binary.
:Binary, in case you didn't notice the Red Wave Of Doom, that was a Psi-Godmoddered Doc Scratch, armed with the FEZ, killing all the players. Good for you, yes. But also extremely bad for you. Because even with your mind powers you are vulnerable to being erased as a mere afterthought, retconned, all of those. I suggest a truce while we fix this problem. Hmm... Ah, I think I'm gonna pull out on this one.
I don't particularly feel like playing along with this particular **** pull, so I'm not going to.
To quote my reasons why, look at talist's post. Every single reason but #1. But I'm fine with talist getting mad about that.
This is dumb.
Stoopid. So stupid we have to spell it wrong to point out just how stoopid it is.
I'm sorry twin but this is the dumbest thing you have ever done. I don't care if you've been building up to some MAGICAL finale or some such crap, but you've gotten way too wrapped up in your own head and plotline to realize that, this game isn't just about one central plotline! It never has been! And Scratch was never going to work as a main antagonist, and none of us considered him one so now you've gone and created a situation that basically renders everything a completely moot point!
If the psi-godmodder was capable of what Scratch just did, then why was there even a WAR with him? Why didn't he just insta-kill everyone?
Why didn't he just march Steve out of that castle and into the Void?
Why on Earth did you think it would be a good idea to try and tell us nothing we do matters, that this is a non-interactive cutscene.
You're going DM of the Rings on us here, and I am NOT happy, because you were doing really well (with a few minor blips) up to this point.
So screw it, I'm outta here.
I'm waiting until you decide to fix the plot, because I'd like to point out that your so-called psi-godmodder waves under these circumstances JUST PERMADEATHED EVERYTHING IN THE TVTROPES SESSION TOO! Piono took a quick peek in the tvtropes session, twice, and Eric passed through on his way to finding a way into Godcraft, not to mention the fact that Blue, Engie, AND Ire are all present there. And since the tvtropes session happens simultaneously in the timeline of the multiverse, that puts TWO sessions in jeopardy.
I will not post on this game again until the plot goes back to not sucking.
I will watch it for that to happen, but I urge everyone else to not put up with this, and boycott until twin decides to get back to GMing the game the way people actually enjoy it.
If you are fine with this, I urge you NOT to boycott, since you don't have a reason to, but people who don't like this shouldn't have to put up with it.
Talist, would you like to continue the Wilson/Hank roleplaying in a PM?
Everyone else, you might be getting PMs in relation to the IUPC.
The Ancestral Artifacts weren't originally created to have offensive properties. They were used to create the first Terrors. When the Prophecy was created and it was stated the next Psi-Godmodder would gather up the Artifacts and use them to match and exceed the Psi-Godmodder's power, they gained their current abilities. That's why he didn't just kill everyone.
I had no intention to kill everyone in the TV Tropes session; that's not DTG2, that's TVTropes.
"So the legendary psi-godmodder has appeared. The Perfect Sphere's anti-godmodder field is currently the only thing stopping him from killing us, but it will not hold forever."
However, I soon notice something:
"Without anyone alive to contain them, SCP objects everywhere are breaching containment. The Psi-Godmodder forgets that many of these objects are unkillable."
Soon enough, many SCP objects breach containment, causing havoc.
"EXOS (the current AI in charge of the perfect sphere), use whatever means you have available to send these SCP's directly at the Psi-Godmodder. Many have attacks that can instantly kill him, and others (like SCP-682) are literally unkillable and will keep him busy for a long time trying to kill it."
"Commander, what are you going to do?"
"I am going to fix this at the source." *Shoots myself, appears in the battlefield*
4/??? Ender Explosives || The Teraporter (I am pretty sure this doesnt make the enderporter, the enderporter involved the chaos pearls or something)
My Action: I load an Ender Explosive into the Teraporter, fire it at the Gatekeeper, then deliver a massive slash into his armor when I move in on the Gatekeeper.
A 50-post charge does not have the power to completely and utterly nullify the powers of a high-level godmodder.
All of the SCP personnel are still alive thanks to the retcon!
You shoot yourself and kill yourself instantly! Nothing you do this turn will count since you're dead!
Thank you! I thought I was going to be alone in this. I myself admit it's a stupid idea (hindsight is always 20/20), but what's ridiculous I had the thought drilled, sponged, and shouted into my head, combined with 48 hours of the Daggergate Inquisition to boot. People just want another opponent...
Anyways, it looks like the Councilman summoned one of his big guys (good news! I'm actually following the story!). It's entity-summoning time! If we can all work together to summon a wave of entities, we can probably work together to overwhelm him, or at least buy some time so that we can plan against this brute force!...
... and I'm betting $10 you guys are going to dismiss it another stupid idea of mine. If so, I guess in your minds I'm just the perilous old fool, or an AG, but not a real AG, like the rest of you. *sigh*
You know I'm right here. I think it's a great idea, with some teamwork. So come on, everyone! Let's summon a large group of entities to overcome this massive threat! We can't accomplish this by ourselves!
Oryx, thanks for trying to help, but they're going to say it's a stupid idea anyways.

She pulls out SciAntimak.
It's time to change things up.
She then sets it to Physics mode and is about to fire it at the Limbo Gatekeeper when she remembers something.
Oh yes. I have that thing.
She then uses her COMB RAVE on the Limbo Gatekeeper!

Meanwhile, in a universe far far away... A president stands on top of a balcony. He's looking at the red waves that have just appeared in the night sky. He frowns.
What in... Does that have to do with the invasion?
A hundred miles away, a retro-futuristic city lies. All its citizen would normally be either going to bed or having a fun night out. However, all of them are staring at the same red waves. In an old, red building, a group of coworkers are staring at one of their own. A robot, lying on the ground. Dead.
~~
A space station lies in orbit over a cubic planet. A space station that, until a couple of minutes ago, was populated by kerbals and an AI. However, a mysterious red energy has struck them all dead. But not for long. At the center of the station lies a massive room, filled with large, man-sized tubes. The middle of the room is occupied by a massive supercomputer, connected to the entire station. That supercomputer was recently disabled by the red waves. They had prepared for something like this. A screen powers on.

The tubes pop open. All of them are filled with kerbals. All at once, as if by clockwork, they awaken. Groggily, they step out. Confusion is in the air. A tall kerbal steps up to a short one who otherwise is his doppelgänger when it comes to looks.
What happened? Why do I have such a splitting headakhe?

WHAT!?
You claim the Comb Rave! I'm allowing this to be a Dual Rave, so if anyone else wants to use it, say so by next turn! If no one else does, then you'll use the Rave next turn as a standard one. Your Rave will be Antibent.
Your wave your hand to the skies and watch as a fairly large spaceship appears from the clouds! A large swarm of Aurum troops descends from the sky and begins an attack against the Gatekeeper! Tribytes, Blits, and Quoils all storm around the Gatekeeper and deal 8,000 damage!
I use The Metalbender to turn hte Gatekeeper's helmet into a huge 8-ball with a metallic fez. I then swich The Metalbender into Daggermode and just stab the Gatekeeper.
Personally, I don't care about the matter with the Trials, they're fun and different. Twin, I see that you are trying to continue the story. That's fine with me. Just know that you're kind of getting a little off track from DESTROY THE GODMODDER. Not that I mind, but...
I send the GATEKEEPER to AREA 51.
I throw an Emoticon at the Gatekeeper! It's so scary, I can't put it in here!
4,000 damage to the Gatekeeper!
If I can't see it, I don't know how effective it will be!

Wow.
She then dons the Remote Magnepulators. She remotely (because of the Remote Magnepulators) pulls out an Antimatter Nuke from an Antimatter Nuke Station, disables the detonator, and starts repeatedly whacking the Limbo Gatekeeper with it. While that would wreck a normal nuke, the carbon-nanostructure enhanced Antimatter Nuke can withstand the blows. Finally, she raises her hand high into the air, and the Antimatter Nuke soars upward. She then remotely slams it down on the Limbo Guardian. From such a height, that would destroy the bomb. However, she activates the detonator before it collides with the Limbo Guardian.

So, what do you think caused the red waves? Was it something to do with that game?
No, I think not. I've scanned the game and the waves with my Sensotron 3000, and the red waves come not from Minecraft but from THE FURTHEST STRECHES OF THE VOID!
And why did I come back to life?
It seems some sort of artificial intelligence rebooted you.

@Amp: I never expected this specific thing to occur, but a doomsday situation was inevitable. Regardless, I apologize profusely for whatever offense I have caused in the typing of those paragraphs, if I have caused it.
@Net: Please refrain from taking the meteor into Limbo, or directly out of its session, but otherwise, all help would be appreciated. Given the current state of everything, that is.
I equip the vaunted mustard-colored sunglasses formally referred to as Bipolarity. On a completely unrelated note, I don't care what our situation is, and what we loose. I'm not going to stop playing, no matter what occurs plot-wise. Upon placing the things over my eyes, I am imbued with the energy of the Furthest Ring in exponential amounts. This would normally be utilized strictly for the creation of horrifying beasts, but I shall manipulate the parameters for the categorization 'horrifying beast.' Actually, no. I do not need to. Instead, I summon a horrifying beast to assail the Limbo Gatekeeper. This beast is in no way mundane, however. It is an animate sphere of pure void energy. Its mere existence begins to rend the Limbo Gatekeeper into a congealed paste upon the ground. Eldritch sorcery tears at existence itself, mutating the Gatekeeper into some pile of organic goo that mildly resembles life itself. But only mildly. It would be a far more acute response if one were to say the pile was not life whatsoever, and merely re-fused essentia congealing into physical objects, which was essentially what occurred. The festering Gatekeeper is telekinetically slammed into the ground, in an attempt to kill the creature as expediently as possible in the current situation. Whether that means brutal mutilation or mere spellcasting is beyond me, though I am perfectly willing to perform both. Regardless of which contingency is the most adequate in our given situation, I make some arcane gesture with my hand. A mustard-colored aura surrounds me briefly, before utter silence pervades the plane of Limbo we exist upon currently. I stare at the Limbo Gatekeeper. A shadow envelops the creature, obscuring it from the eyes of all nearby. Tentacular shapes move within the obfuscated region, evidently performing some type of shadow manipulation. Within moments, the field of eternal darkness vanishes, leaving behind puddles of liquid darkness. Puddle of liquid darkness, as well as the Limbo Gatekeeper. The being appears to have suffered grievous mutilation within the moment the shadows were obscuring the view of all nearby. I proceed to summon nigh-unending hordes of eldritch beasts using the power of Bipolarity. The beasts swarm the Limbo Gatekeeper, assailing its Armor as efficiently as possible. I de-equip the mustard-colored sunglasses, their pulsating blue and red light providing slight illumination in the eternal gray void.
Grayhold Citadel, approx. 15:11
After nearly fourteen hours since the incident, the fortress appears to have withstood the vast majority of structural collapse that would usually accompany the destruction of a secondary support structure linked to the core of the labyrinthine fortress. Of course, the inhabitants of the citadel are relatively safe, in their time-locked nightmares. However, this does not mean that the main concern for the citadel's integrity would not detriment it. The monolithic fortress appears to have sunk into the ground around ten meters. From what can be observed, it appears as if the red inferno did indeed destroy all of the wards and spells defending the place. This includes the ones that keep the castle from falling into the Void, which would normally have been direct result of mining out the vast majority of the bedrock beneath the castle. The fortress is sinking into the Void, slowly, taking everything within it as well.
Now, I'd like to say that despite my earlier statement regarding the situation at hand at the beginning of my attack, I still don't feel that Scratch instantly killing us is fair. However, the most absurd thing of all is the wanton slaying of other characters. That being said, I attempt to find Split using The Enlightenment, and ask for his aid. He certainly has a reason to hate Scratch.
17,000 damage to the Gatekeeper!
You view Split. He's currently in the center of what seems to be a town hall, where he is being tortured in public view. He's locked inside a bedrock cell that is about to be dipped in lava. You look closer into his sunglasses. They seem to show your current fight against the Gatekeeper. An amused expression appears on his face, and he produces Broken Anachronism, starting to cut through the cell. Oh. Oh no.
This is not good. I can't handle this. If both of them come back at once... Oh boy.

Time for some element-bending and molecule-building! I transmute 1/8 of the atoms in the uppermost 5% of the Gatekeeper's armor to chlorine, 3/8 of the remaining part into fluorine, 1/6 of the remaining part into oxygen, and the last 1/3 of that part into hydrogen, all using Mental Element. I then cause them to react, forming some aqueous chlorine trifluoride that burns some of the Gatekeeper's armor. Next, I fire Element's Maker at the Gatekeeper rapidly, firing 24 bullets of SCP-2046-144, 27 bullets of hydrogen, and 13 bullets of fluorine. I then use Mental Element to combine them into deadly fluoro██████ic acid (part of the name is censored due to danger of memetic exposure), stronger than even fluoroantimonic acid because that's just how SCP-2046 elements work. The resulting blob of Ɩчч24H27F13 flies into the Gatekeeper's armor, dissolving a hole through it.
Next, I summon up one instance of SCP-2300 for every element that is on the standard periodic table or 2046 that is also in the Gatekeeper's armor. They eat the armor and, if it is an alloy, spit the blobs of alloy minus one element back at it at relativistic speeds for another SCP-2300 instance to find, eat and spit out minus another element also at relativistic speeds. The SCP-2300 instance then begins to tear into the Gatekeeper, because these guys are really hungry and also because I told them to. I then cause the SCP-2300 instances to disappear.
For the wiki's sake, I finish off with Chemonuke on the armor.

I grab the Gatekeeper and slam him into the ground. I then throw the Moving Victoria virus, a taco made of redstone, the Bioterrorism USB, a lapotron crystal carved into the shape of a shuriken, SCP-148 tacos, a copy of the Horrible Meal, the Kannada letter ṭha, SCP-2300-84 summoned with Mental Element, every Billy Mays product, a bunch of Chinese New Year decorations, some beard hairs, a femur, a jar of toenails that is not a reality-warping SCP despite its resemblance to SCP-1297, a deadly test, fluoroantimonic acid, sulfuric acid, magic acid, a panther corpse, a massive pile of candy bricks, a replica of SCP-427, a glowstone key, a CD of Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up, a floppy disk with NetHack on it, the documentation of the Standard Compression Scheme for Unicode, the word "antidisestablishmentarianism" made of osmiridium, a telephone, a Nigerian 419 scam email translated into Hittite and carved on a clay tablet, a strip of moldy bacon and a baloney sandwich at the Gatekeeper.
5/??? Ender Explosives || The Teraporter (I am pretty sure this doesnt make the enderporter, the enderporter involved the chaos pearls or something)
My Action: I use a hyperdimensional communicator to open a line of communication with EXOS:
"What the hell did you do!"
"I went into the underworld to defeat a really nasty monster. Trust me, it is going to help against the psi-godmodder."
"How so?"
"Never mind how. Your job is to stall the Psi-Godmodder by any means needed. Start by salvaging a Catalysm Shield from the UOSS wreck, it prevents the Psi-Godmodder from one-shotting the entire thing and bypassing the normal means to kill it, which would take several turns."
"Then what?"
"Hang back, he should have his hands full dealing with other things now. No wait, send radio pings to {REDACTED}, get help."
I then use level 10000 MCMMO axes skill to break the Gatekeeper's armor with a few diamond axe hits.
SCP Foundation Action: The personnel in SCP-2000 survive because of the protection of the SRA's around it, which block reality bending such as the Psi-Godmodder uses. With the O5 council dead, the surviving personnel join up in an attempt to find a way to contain the current mess and take out the Psi-Godmodder.
EXOS Action: EXOS contacts the personnel on SCP-2000, and shares notes on strategy.
My Action: I summon a large amount of enderman souls and combine it into a Soul Shredder special attack to decimate gatekeeper.
EXOS Action: EXOS sends a drone to pick up the tuba with the godmodder in it, and then has the drone teleport back to the Perfect Sphere. The curse Doc Scratch used to shrink the godmodder and trap him in the tuba is broken when the sphere of influence is crossed, but the anti-godmodder field also nullifies the real godmodder's power. EXOS then throws the Godmodder into the Bridge's brig and keeps him there so he cannot escape.
SCP Foundation Action:
"Chaos is occuring out there. SCP-2907, SCP-817, SCP-613, SCP-1160, and SCP-2442 have already breached containment, and more will break out soon. The only good news: the other godmodder (the one that isnt killing everyone instantly) has been captured and contained by an unknown ally referring to itself as EXOS."

==Limbo==
I form the EVERYSWORD into a lightsaber and stab the Guardian with it.
Everysword || Gun == Everygun 1/???
I then Origin Wand up the Everygun at which point I fire a lazor at the Guardian.
Good grief, Twin. This is NOT terrible. Granted, the sudden Scratch Zaps Everyone Dies is...Strange. But I approve, at least somewhat, of Real-World Consequences. It's forced creative use of side abilities, caused the battle to get more serious...
Unfortunately, you might have chosen the wrong thing to do once we HIT Limbo. I think a few of us would have appreciated some sort of diplomatic mission, or perhaps a puzzle, or even an espionage mission. Kill the X /is/ getting boring.
Act 2! +2 to Ire! I will reserve my part on this for later, but for now, I will say this: It is always far better on paper. It always, always is. Trust me it always is.
The Withering > Fine = Brine (Level 10: 11/11) Suck it, L()rd!
Hawking's Miss > Fine = ??? (Level 10: 2/11)
Orb of Sanity && Essence of every Therapist ever && Hyperconcentrated Sanity Fuel = ??? (Level ?: 2/?)
I use my powers of Pulchritude that my possession of the Sleuth Diplomacy techniques implies I have in some measure, in combination with what little I can scrounge up of the good and sacred in any world, and create...A flare. I light it with the sacred fires of Divine Charisma and throw it into the air of Limbo. It explodes like a Firework, displaying a single symbol. It is a symbol that can only be seen by those of a selfless spirit (or are just far too powerful for their own good), those lost and imprisoned and now seeking redemption and restoration. It is a symbol for backup. It is a symbol reaching out for help. Whether or not anything comes of it is a different story
With that said, I'm through messing around. Oh no, no more Mr. Nice Tazz. I want this distraction out of the way so we can grab the Owl Pendant and start reminding Scratch that he's a side character. I take my copies of the Origin Wands, which are still a thing, and use them to pen up another deadly 'Tabletop Setting,' where all the dice rolled are Fluorite Octets and are all also used against the Gatekeeper. Except, this 'tabletop setting' is more or less me actually just writing up a torture chamber, an insane death course for only the suicidal or very, very unfortunate. In any other instance, this would be overkill, and far too cruel, but at this stage, I know no other method to deal the requisit damage. the Oblivion's Topper will not do, my COs and BTs will not (alone) do, and my Alchemies aren't enough, yet.
Oh yes. it's time. It's time...For the Doom Course.
the Gatekeeper panics as it's sucked into a portal right to my newly-crafted Doom Course just as I finish it. *snipped because post-too-long error*
The utter wreck, physically and mentally, that is now the Limbo Gatekeeper, is returned to the Battlefield just in time for more attacks.
...
Twin, you're an awesome guy, and I think this was just one thing that sounded much cooler on paper than it did in practice, which happens...A lot. Trust me it always sounds much better on paper. You have done an excellent job in both balancing the game and guiding the story all things considered, and this is just one slip up. Everyone has these moments. Don't let it get to you, too much. Learn from it and prosper.
BRINE: A metallic amethyst ring. When worn, it will rip the wearer's left arm off and replace it with an arm of pure dark energy that can change form at will, although its form seems to default to a pickaxe forged from shadow.
Some stray souls see the light and feel drawn towards it.
Unfortunately, I had to cut out the actual course because it was giving me a post-too-long error, but I did read it. All of it.
So, I just want to clear this up. This is what seems to have happened:
Any Descendants, the people directly behind the screen playing Minecraft, have suffered spontaneous DEAD.
Their Minecraft avatars are also DEAD and somehow we have their gear.
All other characters are fine but panicky.
The Godmodder is in a tuba.
Please confirmate. Thanks.

I open fire with the Everygun, and it automatically matches the weakness of the Guardian.
Everysword || Shield == Everyshield 1/??
I Creation Pen up this as well. It will block as many attacks aimed at me or one other designated person as it can.
I look into Tazz's flare, and see into the depths of the future through its light...
I then scribe the Epic of the Everyman, down to the last detail...
I write of his awakening, and his discovery of his powers. I write of Snuffy, his first companion, who gave her life to save another. I write of Chairman Jack, the creature the Everyman made his own. I write of Ryan, the manifestation of the Void that the Everyman saved from its very nature. I write of Mary, the human the Everyman gave existence to. I write of his sacrifice to save the civilization he spawned from the Icosahedron. I write of his dissolution unto the Black Star, and the civilization that lives there, spawned from his death. I write of the arrival of the Everyman in Limbo, drawn there to save another civilization from great evil. I write of the Players, whose deaths merely bring them to an impending resurrection, and the Psi, who sent them there to his doom. I write of an AI on long-distant Earth, seeking naught but destruction for a living Universe. I write of a realization. I write of an >Ascension. I write of the Everyman's aid in saving Minecraftia. I write of a saving in general terms. I write of a First Guardian, hiding in the Void, coming into his true power and defeating the Psi. I write all of this. I write of a writer, writing the future. I write of a guardian, of an artifact that will save the worlds. I write of the Players' battle with a guardian, and the guardian's realization that they are worthy. I write of what comes after, drawn from an inspired pen...I write of the victory over beginning and end, of the victory over a twisted Guardian from a misled world. I write of the manipulator behind the scenes, pulling strings and tying knots in what should have been. I write of the Players' climactic final battle. I write of their victory...Or is it? I write of a succession, of a third story yet to come...
I cap the Creation Pen. The paper crackles with the green fires of Divine Charisma...
"I think I just wrote the future."
I look over at the Everyman.
...
"I think I might be RIGHT."
The Everyman looks a bit confused.
How The Everyman Works.
Each turn, the Everyman can CREATE, IMBUE, or STATISTICIALIZE, in any combination, for three actions.
RESOURCES:
The Everyman has resources he must balance. I am omitting the strength/agility/etc. stats, which will be potion buffs instead.
Creativity:Powers CREATION and IMBUING. Gained through inspiration. Walls of Text are generally helpful. Also gained from some foods. If all else fails, sniff paint.
Nutrition:Held for STATISTICIALIZATION. Neutralizes NEGATIVE STATUS EFFECTS by expending points. Also heals by expending points.
HP:The Everyman has HP similar to that of a Player, and of similar resilience. It can be restored by normal healing, or through expending Nutrition.
Armor:Self-explanatory. Negates damage.
Mechanics:
CREATION AND IMBUING: Expends CREATIVITY in a manner similar to Alchemization, to power both item and entity creation.
ENTITIES: The Everyman can CREATE entities with Creativity, or IMBUE template entities with COMPLEXITY and an ITEM to create unique entities subordinate to the Everyman.
COMPLEXITY:A measure of entity power. As an entity gains power, it will develop increased complexity and gain more powers-active or passive abilities, that is.
I'm expending my theoretical past charges on this one. After we leave Limbo, the Everyman might just ascend to the Battlefield. And by might, I mean I intend him to.
I've followed this thread for a long time, bro. It's alright! You didn't REALLY mean to do that, and thats what I care about.
Up to now, I'm confused on everything, as I haven't seen the last... ummm... 25!

Its time to bust outta here. I use the auditory piston, and funnel some of my health/life energy into it, to have not only pigmen, but an enraged pigmen swarm appear and swarm the gatekeeper! I follow their swarm, and up close I unleash the X-VIRUS, infecting each individual component of the gatekeeper with a horrible virus that will slowly deplete it's health! I then use the X-Stalker, and run between its legs, and jump up and stab it's back, so forcefully that the pigmen are pushed away as I stab it in the back! The resulting shockwave hurls me upward, where I seize an opportunity and rip off my legs, and my left arm, and attach them all into my right arm, and using my downward momentum, I CLOBBER the gatekeeper with a massive punch!
I was making a Armor Bomb that Damages the Limbo Gatekeeper on his Armor for 10000 Damage or 0.5% of his Armor and i was Trying to Break open his Armor but it's still too Strong so i have to keep trying
I guess I join fseftr on their quest to find Split, despite the fact that we are almost certainly destined to fail. I decide to ask the Council why I specifically am here, while I'm at it. Or is this just based on our trangressions as a group?
I also take out the Brewer's Eight, and fling them with all my might, contemplating how many status effects I can push onto the Gatekeeper. I then pour a Bottled Item Fusion over the Unpersoners, Octoroon Rangoon, a Cheap Sword, and the Prince's Chisel.

You follow Fseftr on your quest to find Split, but before you do that, you head back the Council Hall.
We brought you all here based on your crimes as a group, but some of you are definitely more guilty than others, and all of you have at least one reason to be here. For instance, you have spread the cherubim plague of Trickster Mode, have willfully created Spaders, beings illegal in 88 universes, and allowed Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff to corrupt large swaths of GodCraft.

Okay, hey twin, you aren't a bad GM. You got a little wrapped up in your own story is all. I hope that what I said didn't hurt your feelings. I was little bit pissed (maybe still am a bit) but none of what I said was meant to hurt your feelings, I just have a tendency to rant, even if I don't feel particularly strongly about something.
And like everyone else has been saying, you aren't a bad GM. Part of the reason I got pissed off was because that move was really bad compared to how good of a GM you actually are. People being dumb doesn't make me mad unless the person in question is actually really bright. You're a great GM, and as little sense as it makes, that's the reason I got mad.
A minor retcon with the Scratch event isn't out of place, but beyond that, you haven't really messed up enough (and that's not even taking back a word I've said in either of my rants on this event) to need to fix anything more. You're an amazing GM, and your capability to balance all of these things out together is amazing, and I've learned a lot in terms of being able to improvise and write, just from watching you run this game.
Okay, question, since Scratch has little to no idea about Eric (who does have wards set up about this kind of thing, even if they are running a little thin at this point) and he also probably wouldn't be affected by the mind control (sitting out, he'd also stay out of the godmodder's range once mind control started.) would he be affected by the kill? I'm assuming piono would not be because he's currently armed with Rapture, the Archangel's Blade, AND oblivion's destroyer, which would completely break everything.
This entire thing is, of course, assuming twin doesn't decide to find another way to drop us all in limbo. (which is kind of what I'm hoping)
Alright. Thank you.
Even if Eric's wards weren't bypassed completely (which Scratch could probably do), you don't necessarily have to be dead to be in Limbo. Flare Flames proved that much when he went through the entirety of Antichamber alive.
Going off making some more Gold coins from Customers in the Limbo World by Saving the Citizens from Evil Hope i will get up to 1000 Gold Coins and i Used my Power for the Limbo Gatekeeper and Punches his Armor so HARD! that it would Seriously Damage his Armor and as i See i am going back to Shops to get more Power
Total Damage so Far: 50750 Damage
Steel Diamond Katana Stats
Level 1
Damage 1500
Damage/Experience til Next level 6250/50000
Regen Crystal into Crystal Dust 3/3 This will be Made and in Reviewed
Knockback and speed aren't really counted in weapon stats, and weapons don't normally have a fixed damage stat (Pricey, this goes for you too). The amount of damage a weapon deals is determined by the originality and creativity of the attack you used it in. Alchemies created from the Alchemtier, however, DO have a fixed damage stat that can be raised if the attack is original.

I join the search for split, but I also use my COMBAT OPERANDI: QUANTUM VORTEX on the gatekeeper, assuming I can.
// Twin, you are the best GM DTG2 could ever had, and put in so much time and effort into it, and this game IS supposed to be about this one plotline, not a bunch of side ones. I side against talist on this one. //
You take out Quantum Catastrophe and begin to charge up its massive powers to fuel a Barbasol Bomb of epic proportions, aiming it at the Gatekeeper! However, the charged shot ends up becoming incredibly powerful - too powerful - and implodes on itself, creating a tear in reality that becomes a massive quantum vortex! The Gatekeeper is dragged in, and you use the opportunity to fire your Quantum weapons at it, dealing 30,000 damage!
ILLEGAL GODMODDING INTRO DETECTED AT FORUM GAMES > Destroy the Godmodder 2: Operator! At Trial 4. Complete retooling of intro recommended.
I then Stab the Limbo Gatekeeper with my blade of the cosmic whole and burn it.
Unknown Entity: 24/50
Unknown Entity: 24/40
I think the power of the Psi broke you.
8,000 damage to the Gatekeeper!
The Limbo Gatekeeper, which was previously only immobile, suddenly springs to life! Two piercing red eyes appear from under its helmet, and it grips its scythe with a fierce intent! It looks like it has spent the past turn watching your attacks and learning from them, and is now going to counterattack and respond to your attacks in the best way it deems possible!
The Gatekeeper charges at all of you, his scythe morphing into a large amount of the alchemies you used this turn! His scythe turns into Brine and fires a volley of blue fire at you, then it turns into the Metalbender and forces all the armor you have to crush you, then it turns into Chemocide, firing up into the clouds and creating a massive rain of chemicals, then it turns into the Hazel Wand, manipulating the Inky Abyss and creating a giant ball and chain of pure ink, and then it turns into the End, firing an amethyst laser beam! Tazz, Erelye, Cobalt, and NinjaV take 13 damage!
The Gatekeeper then tosses his scythe into the air, and when it comes down, it becomes a double scythe! It quickly turns into all of the legendary cherub weapons and fires, a giant animatronic head that bores its eyes into everyone's souls, duplicates of foreign players from another session, a mental longsword that casts the entire arena into darkness, and a blade charged with a large amount of status effects that warps everyone into a vortex! omglolsguy and stronghammer take 13 damage! Fseftr and Modpack take 15 damage! Irecreeper takes 0 damage!
The Enraged Pigmen and Everyman deals 14,000 damage to the Gatekeeper!
Fseftr, Modpack, and Generic all end up walking through Limbo's forgotten architecture for quite some time, a full second, and end up reaching Town Hall after a year. As they all scratch their heads at Limbo's completely skewed sense of time, they see that Split is still attempting to cut his way through the bedrock bars! His cage is almost completely submerged in lava, and it doesn't appear to be hurting him...
When he sees all of you, he gives you a completely venomous glare.
Well, well, well. Isn't this just precious. The cavalry's here, huh? Some of you finally bothered to come here and rescue me? Hah. Of course not. I felt some pretty weird crap going on with the Red Sun, and look at that! You're all dead. Tell me, what did you in?
You all tell him about Scratch's ascension.
Hey, it was bound to happen sooner or later. And I already figured as much, what with omniscience and all. You know, I would made a great Psi-Godmodder! All I had to do was bust out of here, which I almost did! The Ultimate Reward was right in my grasp! But... There was this voice in my head. Telling me it wasn't right the time. I felt like I had to listen to it.
So here I am. Looks like this angry mob's trying to hurt me. But I can't be killed in this place. I guess I deserve it, what with being a psychopath up in the surface and all. And of course Greenie got off scot free, because he's the hero and always gets what he wants! ... But that sideplot is so two acts ago. I guess I'm old news now. You know what; let's have a look at all of you.
Split watches you from his cage.
Modpack, looking good. You suffered a Shatter an Act ago, I can tell. The scars are still in your head. Looks like Alex is gone, and so is Chaos. Fseftr, you've got a lot of great gear now. Hmm, I'm impressed. Sort of. I've still got my old stuff, that can accomplish so much more! It's a lot more useful. A lot more significant. And you...
He surveys Generic.
I don't think I remember you. You must be new. But hey, I take it you remember me, right? Greenie must have told you all about me. He must have told you all about me. How I was so evil and loved watching people die and wanted to break everything apart piece by piece just to see how it worked. We wanted the same thing, you know. It was just that our morality was different. And you know, I don't think Greenie wants to accept this... But I was in him too.
The original TwinBuilder... He was prone to fits of anger. And he had his eye on the Narrative from the very beginning. Ever since TT2000 took up the Update Terminal, TwinBuilder wanted to control it. To put himself in that place of power. To watch everything from up above where he could never be hurt. And I guess I stem from that. Control.
But enough about me. What's up with you? Besides being recently deceased, there must have been a lot you did, right? Go on, we can talk. You'll find that in death, you've got all the time in the world. And besides, there must have been a reason you came to look for me, right?
You all look at each other uneasily.
You are now in a conversation with Split! You can decide what to say to him in your posts. Perhaps you should ask for his help? His powers could be invaluable... Or just talk about other things... Either way, it looks like he's very eager to have a chat.

Well, even if sidequests and RP didn't exist, I would still have some problems with this because it is saying "rocks fall, everyone dies" and Trail 4 is scarily similar to Trail 3 gameplay wise.
Can we use Spoils in slightly more creative ways? I'll try it. I get out a poison potion from the Potion Supply and the Magma Multiplier. I fire the Multiplier, not at the boss, but in fact at my own potion. It heats the potion into a furious boil, eventually evaporating it inside the bottle. I then launch the bottle of super heated toxic gas at the boss.

(The reason Wilson said "I assume you're Hank" is because he was coming in towards his store from a distance.)
Wilson looks up at Hank (who I assume is still here) and feels something very strange for a moment. In another reality at this moment, Wilson's thread of life was snapped suddenly as he was thrown against the back wall, breaking his spine and killing him. That reality involved a different game master, one who doesn't listen to players. However, it is not our reality. We have TwinBuilder as our game master.
Wilson shudders as the feeling passes. He has tears in his eyes from the recent encounter with NinjaTwist as he looks up at Hank. N- no... not really... Bu- but, isn't it some kind of organization and you're a member? *sniff*

> Action: ꓓꓲ ꓓꓯꓓꓡꓲ ꓕꓯꓢꓔ (The Deadly Test) (Deadly Test File, 7.357 EB)
I give the Gatekeeper this test:
1. An SCP-409 shuriken is flying toward you at 3.67144 m⁄s, decelerating at the rate of 0.012945 m⁄s2 due to air resistance. It follows the flight path below. How long does it take for the SCP-409 shuriken to hit you?
2. A circuit is connected as follows. You are represented by the resistor. How long does it take for you to burn up and/or melt, assuming that no cooling occurs?
3. A 164,493 meter long pole is travelling at 420,069 m⁄s toward you. Ignoring gravity, how fast does it take for the pole to travel straight through you if there is no air resistance and the resistance that your body provides decelerates it at the rate of 0.00492323 m⁄s2?
4. I swing a highly dense baseball bat at your head at 211,452,112 rad⁄s. Assuming that the part that hits you is 0.78413 meters away from you, what is the momentum transferred from the bat to you assuming that the bat is unbreakable and weighs 195.583 kg and you weigh... well, you look like a freakin' hamboooooone so let's say you weigh 100,000 kg.
5. You fall off a cliff that is 519,329,433 meters on a planet that has a mass of 7.49301889 × 1028 kg. The bottom of the cliff is 4.13612 × 1011 km from the center of the planet. Calculate the amount of time it takes for you to hit the ground and the force at which you hit the ground (hint: it's probably fatal).
6. You are strapped to the top of a moving car travelling at 134.39421 m⁄s. At t = 0 s, it decelerates at the rate of 0.14423m⁄s2 and crashes into an osmium cube embedded into the ground at t = 5 s. The osmium cube does not move. An instant before the collision, the straps disappear and you fly off into a wall of spikes made of SCP-409 50.515253 m from your position when the collision happened. Assuming that you are 1.42069 meters above the ground before the collision and there is no drop in height between the collision area and the spiked wall, calculate a) when you impact the wall and b) the height at which you impact the wall.
7. You are fired out of a cannon at 2,696,393 m⁄s straight up into a ceiling 60 meters above you. The ceiling is unbreakable. How fast are you going when you hit the ceiling?
8. You are thrown into a pool of aqueous Uuo118+ ions that dissolve you instantly. You start out 50 meters above the pool and are thrown straight down with a velocity of 12 m⁄s. How long do you have to survive.
9. A wall of deadly flesh is racing towards you at 50,000 m⁄s. You can run at... maybe, let's say 1 m⁄s. If you get a 10-meter head start, how long does it take before the deadly flesh catches up to you?
10. EAS Tones laced with chainsaws are playing and only you can hear them. If you have a 2.9323% chance of dying every second for every decibel above 101.22323 dB and the EAS Tones increase in volume from 91.139423 dB by 0.99932838 dB every second, how long will you survive on average?
11. A rocket accelerating at 1.414423 m⁄s2 goes around the world 41 times before crashing into you and exploding. The rocket starts off travelling at 134.423 m⁄s. How fast is the rocket travelling the instant it hits you?
12. A bunch of rogue androids are coming to kill you. You have a 43.32388-meter head start and can run at 1.342093 m⁄s, but decelerate at the rate of 0.515293 m⁄s2 after t = 4s. The androids move at a constant rate of 1.349942 m⁄s. How long before the androids catch up to you and kill you?
13. This question is worth 99% of your grade. What is the square root of minus 5423745892927? Grid it in on a standard SAT scantron sheet or your answer will be marked incorrect. Also, if you answer correctly, you will still fail because SCREW YOU!.

I activate the Black Ring. Perhaps the potency of inky sorceries shall be amplified with our proximity to the Void itself. As a general rule, void energy seem to augment the capabilities and power of ink-based magic. A vial of Visink within my inventory is drained completely and utterly, at the behest of my will. The magics of the Inky Abyss seep into my form, congealing into some sort of... liquid aura around the ring itself. The liquid aura is composed of one unadulterated substance. Vis-infused ink, mixed from the finest ink, and the most potent liquid Vis, the latter of which having been melted down with some of the most archaic and outdated crucibles in the history of thaumaturgy. Just thinking of it brings me back. But, I digress. Memories of times before the war on this game will get me nowhere in this situation, considering all temporal instances of me currently upon the part of the alpha timeline we consider 'the present' are dead, and within this Limbo, to combat a Gatekeeper for escape. Ascent to GodCraft once more might be a more accurate statement. Despite the fact that the location we are currently present within is not on the same plane of existence as GodCraft, or even within the same gravitational analogue. Not that gravity has any significance in the current endeavor. However, it would do to state that, or merely show that I very well realize that the name of the current Trial is symbolic. But, I digress. I watch the flowing black runes bolden slightly on the surface of the ring. It is rather difficult to discern, given the fact that the ring itself is made of solid ink, but is legible. The liquid aura begins to wildly twist its inky tendrils in the direction of the Limbo Gatekeeper. The fluid, imbued with both Vis and the Void, races towards the Gatekeeper, in an endeavor to slay the creature, evidently. The tendrils wrap themselves around the Limbo Gatekeeper, before pure darkness obscures it. The being's eyesight has clearly been temporarily obscured. The inky tendrils move in deeper, slowly cutting into the entity, causing a variety of implications. Primarily asphyxiation, and the possible paroxysm. I can tell, despite the fact that the being is currently utterly obfuscated from any vision, because we forge our own realities with the decisions we make. The tendrils tear into the Gatekeeper, attempting to cause as much damage in as little time as possible. The shadow veil disappears, leaving behind a rather ink-stained Limbo Gatekeeper, positively shuddering due to the corrosive influence of the forces affecting it.
Grayhold Citadel, approx. 23:26
The citadel, despite the efforts of Netpatham, continues sinking. It appears as if the large amounts of Flux produced by the destruction and/or disruption of the spells spontaneously melted the HALI arrays without any distinction for the fact that they would have likely slowed the descent. Instability has no friends, sadly.
—
Upon the roof of one of the buildings within the network of facilities encompassing the meteor, a dark-haired elf peers through his glasses, examining what appear to be projectors. Virnul stares at the hard-light shield projectors, and listens to the apparent communication. I seriously doubt anybody within the meteor could hear besides him, as they are beneath around a network of dense stone and metal. Virnul speaks up.
Kalare asked for help? It looks like I shouldn't have to question this situation at all. A disembodied voice is telling me that Kalare, who is currently lying on the floor, completely freaking dead, of all people, asked for aid. Completely plausible.
As long as these things don't kill us all, thanks?

Wherever the hell we are: I use Battle Technique: Minimalist, targeting the Gatekeeper.
"Hey, how come Blue didn't end up in here? I mean, Psi-Scratch DID pretty much apparently kill us all with Fez magic and Narrative power combined. Surely he got her too?..."
I then pause.
"...Wait... if he killed her, then..."
Gray fire ignites around me, a dead and mechanical tone to my voice.
"One simple request. Let me be the one to kill Scratch."
-Elsewhere-
"APOLOGIES, HEX. BUT I CANNOT DEFY PROTOCOL."
"Consider this an override. Or, at least, a re-prioritization."
"HELLO, ENGIE. PROTOCOL 272-CATALYST WAS INVOKED. WHAT COULD TAKE HIGHER PRIORITY?"
"If you must obey protocol as much as I programmed you to, listen carefully. Find every ally you can. The HMAS Victor. Grayhold. The Anachron. Literally as many allies as you can. Safety precaution. But leave Psi-Scratch alive. I want to kill him personally."
"ACKNOWLEDGED."
The Mainframe turns, countless powerful sources of thrust turning on and pushing the huge machine at 299792457.99999999926354 m/s towards the first contact on the list - the HMAS Victor. Yes, this is nearly light speed. Yes, this is something supermassive to the point of dwarfing universes. But no, it will not, as possibly feared, accidentally crush the HMAS Victor completely. While such a sight would be hilarious, it would also defeat the purpose of heading on over in the first place. Also, I installed brakes.
Wilson's shop:
Hank nods. Yes, its a new organization... sort of. IUPC stands for Inter-Universal Peace Corps. We're sort of working towards being the peace-keeping force for the multiverse.
I think I'm still not entirely sure how this sits with me plot-wise, I may or may not decide to have Eric not interfere with this directly.

BAD NEWS EVERYONE! It seems that Bender will not get a chance to rest, for I have found a way to send his avatar to Limbo!

CHANGING AVATAR AFTERLIFE FROM ROBOT HELL TO LIMBO
I get the Magic Cueball Eye, and promptly install it in place of my All-Thieving Eye. I then inspect the eye with my eye, even though that makes no sense and I probably should have installed the eye after inspecting it. Anyways, I proceed to take out my Matter Manipulator and start whittling the Gatekeeper away, until I've mined out his entire left knee, which I then store in my inventory as a bunch of blocks.
After this, I steal the Gatekeeper's luck and roll the Pale Octet at it, then cleave through its right knee with the Hope Crusher.
As I'm about to leave, I consider the Council's words. ... Everyone? "Well, what about Talist? What's he done?"

You use all of their combined Trickster power to deal 30,000 damage to the Gatekeeper!
Yes.
HAWKING'S MISS: A jagged sword that is asymmetrical and has several missing chunks cut from its form. The blade is a solid black due to it sucking all light around itself, warping the image of space around itself.

Bow && Osmiridium && Khamhaeng Essence && Ancient Thai-Script Inscription = Thai Osmiribow (Level 4: 1/5)
14,000 damage to the Gatekeeper!
5,000 damage to the Guardian!
Everysword || Gun = Everygun (Level 9: 1/10)
All of it.
70,000 damage to the Limbo Gatekeeper!
The Everygun didn't finish!
Everysword || Shield = Everyshield (Level 9: 1/10)
As long as the Everyman can't boost your own charges, this works. Everyman added!
Thanks. How long have you been following for?
You decide to go to Erelye for answers. Using the Enlightenment, you see that the town Split was in isn't very far from your current location. You branch off from the main fight and, for some inexplicable reason, try to look for Split.
Diamond && Concentrated Magic in a Jar && Wand = Diamond-Tipped Wand (Level 2: 1/3)
Supercomputer && Cold Fusion Power Cell = Fusioncomputer (Level 1: 1/2)
Strohl Munitions AP-229 Plasgun && Star Cannon = Gamma Ray Cannon (Level 3: 1/4)
5,000 damage to the Gatekeeper!
Potion of Microstrength OOO Glarum Dust = Potion of Microstrength II (1/2)
X-Stalker && Limbo Dirt = Fallen Stalker (Level 5: 1/6)
You sacrifice 10 HP to supercharge the Auditory Piston and have it summoned Enraged Pigmen!
40,000 damage to the Gatekeeper!
4-5-8-4-3-3-3-7
A large blue fire appears around the Gatekeeper, Burning him!
Unpersoners x Octoroon Rangoon x Cheap Sword x Prince's Chisel = Hope Crusher
Alright. Thank you.
Even if Eric's wards weren't bypassed completely (which Scratch could probably do), you don't necessarily have to be dead to be in Limbo. Flare Flames proved that much when he went through the entirety of Antichamber alive.
7,000 damage to the Gatekeeper!
The Crystal Dust will work as a brewing ingredient.
It's never too late to join! Don't worry!
POTION OF MICROSTRENGTH II: A better version of the Potion of Microstrength.
> The_Idea_Modpack_Mod_Man: COMBAT OPERANDI => QUANTUM VORTEX
You expend 5 of every Sacred Item.
You join Fseftr and Generic to search for Split.

*sniff*
There's a difference between a hero and a champion. A champion overcomes threats, but a hero overcomes fears.

GODDAMN IT

Nope, sorry guys, no Destroy the Godmodder relevant stuff here...

Nothing much has occurred, save for the fact that the fortress has sunk another fifty meters. The tops of the lowest buildings in the place are beginning to submerge in the ocean of stone.

Lothyra uses her COMB RAVE on the Limbo Gatekeeper. She then thinks.
Hmm. Maybe I should start creating some Octets. Now what would be the first one? Oh, I know.
She then alchemizes Fluorite Octet && Carbon Nanogel.
All of a sudden...

AA: Lothyra? Are you there?
UA: Bender? You're alive?
AA: Of course I'm alive! It's not as if some living puppet with superpowers killed me!

BAD NEWS EVERYONE! It seems that Bender will not get a chance to rest, for I have found a way to send his avatar to Limbo!
Yes!
Hooray!
All he has to do is run this computer program inside this flash drive...
The person currently speaking jams the flash drive into Bender.
HEY! WATCH IT!
And he's back in action!

After this, I steal the Gatekeeper's luck and roll the Pale Octet at it, then cleave through its right knee with the Hope Crusher.
As I'm about to leave, I consider the Council's words. ... Everyone? "Well, what about Talist? What's he done?"

Lothyra uses the Remote Magepulators to safely pick up a gram of antimatter and through it at the Limbo Gatekeeper.
Now, what weapon should I create? *looks at list of hard-sci fi weapons* Oh, I know.
Lothyra then alchemizes Hollow Nanoiron Torus -O Shrink and Laser Medium Gas Mixture && Small Canister = Laser Medium Canister
LASER MEDIUM GAS MIXTURE: A mixture of carbon dioxide and nitrogen that is good for being used in a gas dynamic laser.
All of a sudden, a familiar silver robot appears on the battlefield.
BENDER?!
I'M BACK, BABY!
Bender then fires iQuantimak at the Limbo Guardian.
That's what I should shoot at, right?
How did you get here?!
The professor ran this computer program. I don't know. Let's just call it magic for now.
Okay...
(BTW, if you havn't guessed it already, I'm trying to create a realistic laser weapon.)
