if there is a predator in there, of course, it'd get hit by the pickaxe. as well, seeing the pickaxe stop, and also seeing the no-longer obscured predator, I'd warp forwards, wrench out my pickaxe, and quickly thrust it in again, this time aiming for the eyes with both sides of the pickaxe (which is shaped like this (---) [ ( = pickaxe head, - = handle, ) = other pickaxe head]), piercing both eyes at once. if the enemy dodges, I dodgeroll back, avoiding their attacks, and fire two beams of energy, one at each eye. being energy, the beams move at the speed of light, making them undodgeable.
action summary: destroy a decent amount of tall grass and take the first strike at any enemys contained within.
With the first television broadcasts coming out already, the woman in a business suit calls out "OK, we need to buy some advertising and slots on more networks so we can get more people watching our show. Jerry, you're on it."
With that, the subordinate named dashes into the TV studio, and quickly makes several phone calls to various TV networks. And Netflix. While the advertising certainly isn't cheap, it'll boost viewership, and thus lead to more revenue.

Looking around at the current setup, the woman nods, and says to another one of her employees "I think it's time that we start merchandising. OK guys, let's get our first line of action figures out. Tim, Burt, Cherry, you're in charge of getting photographs!"
The three interns salute and immediately dash across the field, accosting various combatants with their implements of photography. The Acolyte, all the AA players, Dath Vader, the Transparent Pillarobsidistone, and both Black And Shield knights find themselves getting photographed in quick succession, the photographers running off before their victims can recover from flash blindness.
Back at what is rapidly becoming the woman in the suit's 'base camp' for lack of a better term, a series of 3d printers has been set up, and the woman gleefully sets about loading them with the pictures the photography crew took. An AI correlates the photographs together, and the printers lurch to life, churning out cheap plastic action figures of most of the individuals on the field.

I suddenly realize that using a pickaxe isn't the right way to cut the grass. I should be using a lawnmowera bucket of water! water removes tall grass on contact, and it'll push predators away to boot! as well, water doesn't keep track of who placed the source when it spreads out, so it won't trigger the agro of any nearby mobs! all around, a good choice.
if I already encountered a predator, I do the same as above, but the water is more focused on pushing them away to stall their action.
as I wait for the water to spread out, I ask goldhero if they think things are going well so far.

I block the next attack against the Mooks by lecturing the attacker on how a plumbus is made.
Today on How They Do It : Plumbuses First they take the dingle bop and they smooth it out with a bunch of schleem. The schleem is then...repurposed for later batches. They take the dingle bop and they push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, becasue the fleeb has all the fleeb juice. Then, a schlami shows up, and he rubs it...and spits on it. They cut the fleeb. There's several hizzards in the way. The blamfs rub against the chumbles, and the...plubis, and grumbo are shaved away. That leaves you with...a regular old plumbus.
I command my Staff of Ice to hit the 7HP assault rifle mook and the two 10 HP assault rifle mook. I then listen to plague's talk. After the talk I then make a plumbus out of plague.
I open palm strike the 7 HP Mook in the nose... this causes to take significant damage for reasons that are immediately obvious if you think about where your nose would go if it was violently jerked upwards.

I rub my hands together, then lift one hand up to the sky and bring it down towards the PA side. Plenty of kinds of different knives begin raining down upon the Mooks, and also the Acolyte, although that will do all of nothing I would guess. These knives seem to always land point first into either the ground or some Mooks body, only for the knife rain to inevitably fade, the power spent, and the knives disappear
Your attack deals a total of 100 damage to the Pro-Acolyte side! The Shield Knight and Black Knight take the brunt of the attack, taking 26 damage each, but the Mooks suffer 3 casualties! Two Spear Mooks and an Assault Rifle Mook are killed from full health!

You can't dodge an attack that already killed you! Instead, you take up the turn to respawn. You have been given a 2-turn Grace Period to discourage PvP.

The Shield and Black Knight deal a finishing 12 damage to the Pillarobsidistone!
