Trickle looks over at Joe.

"WOAH! Calm down, buddy!"
"Nobody messes with TinCube! NOBODY!"
"I AM INFINITE!"

Trickle, fueled by rage, pulls out ten thousand shields, both force field-like and not, and runs at TinCube. He deflects every single attack by Joe, making sure to slap Joe, too, but very very lightly, just to make sure he

Okay guys, so here's a question. If I were to... rearrange the power amounts of things, I COULD add back in levels. Although there is a chance that combat specials and the like might not be reimplemented for a bit.

Would you guys want the leveling system back even if it turns into a thing mostly for the sake of cool attack descriptions and getting levels rather than actual gameplay benefit?

I would much appreciate levels being a thing again, even if they're (usually) cosmetic. Helps me keep track.

The Fairview Survivor just stares.

"...That's a pig."

She then shrugs, raising her revolver for a moment, then stops as it whispers something to her. A few seconds pass. She then grins and pulls out a chef's knife instead.

"Thanks for the reminder. It's been a long time since I've had a goddamn slice of pork."

The Terror Pig has about enough time to regret being a pig before it's suddenly set upon by an extremely strong woman who happens to be wielding a kitchen knife, both due to the fact that now it has a number of awfully deep-looking stab wounds and slashes in one side, and also the fact that it just got bitten into by the same woman. She rather enthusiastically takes as large a chunk off of the Terror Pig's body as can fit on a plate, then rips it away from the pig and carries it off some distance. A moment passes.

"Shit, I forgot I'm not a chef."

She proceeds to shrug and eat the pork raw. Somehow, despite the fact that raw pork usually contains salmonella and thus would probably be excruciatingly painful and possibly deadly to most people, some foreign matter in the woman's body just ejects the worst parts of the pork automatically. The woman smiles through the scene of her devouring raw pork, then pauses and glances downwards at her stomach.

"...Aww... even meat doesn't help anymore... Hey, anyone have a bottle of Whiskey?"

Her stomach rumbles. Loudly.

Primary weapon: X-Corpse Shooter
Secondary weapon: NA
Tertiary weapon: NA
Armor: NA
Note how the Chef's Knife is too crappy to even count as a proper weapon.

Alright, due to popular request, the Leveling system is going to be re-instated. Although the power of the various abilities are being GREATLY nerfed.
Anyways, I've gone back and calculated the XP that would've been gained last round, so that has not been lost.
Important things related to the XP system that need to be covered are:

I retyped consumer and JOEbob's Combat Specials!
Combat Special: Megacorprruption (basic)
Alicia walks up to the (enemy), stern, back upright, looking very professional. There is business at hand, and regardless of its nature, it must be dealt with in the most professional of fashions. She walks right up to her opponent, and opens a briefcase. They look at her, confused, then look at it. At first they don't think much of it, but then realize that it contains all of the deepest darkest secrets of not one... but SEVERAL megacorporations! The things they could do with this... they grow incredibly heady with power, and reach in to take the documents... only to be eaten by the briefcase.

Combat Special: Portaltech (basic)
As a master of portals, you know exactly how to use them in such a way as to deal maximum damage to your targets. And you are about to demonstrate how easy it can be, you focus on your enemy, and create 4 portals, one on either side of yourself, and one on either side of them. You then jump through one of your portals, slamming into the back of your confused opponent, sending them tumbling through the portal system head-over heels… straight into your blades, which you bring down in a massive overhand swing that cleaves straight through them, using the momentum given to them by your first attack to increase the strength of the second.

Hezetor obtained 20K XP for landing a blow on the Simumodder, this caused him to level up, so he is now Level 1: Munchkin
With this increase in reputation comes his first Combat Special: Atom Smasher.

Trickle, on the other hand, did not get 20K for damaging the Simumodder, as the damage dealt during his post was for finishing an event. He still got a bit of XP because the desc he wrote for the charge attack made me laugh.

The current ranking is as follows:

Tricklejest [AS]: Level 1: 23000/30000 XP
Combat Specials: Heroism, Lv: Basic
ConsumerOfAll [AS]: Level 1: 8500/30000 XP
Combat Specials: Megacorprruption, Lv: Basic
Hezetor [AS]: Level 1: 6000/25000 XP
Combat Specials: Atom Smasher, Lv: Basic
Twinbuilder [AS]: Level 0: 2000/25000 XP
Jondanger23 [AS]: Level 0: 18000/25000 XP
Toast [AS]: Level 0: 8000/25000 XP
Battlefury [AS]: Level 0: 2000/25000 XP
Sp33d0n [AS]: Level 0: 17500/25000 XP
Cyanogynist [AS]: Level 0: 10000/25000 XP
Talist [AS]: Level 0: 5500/25000 XP
Urus [AS]: Level 0: 8000/25000 XP
micbs [AS]: Level 0: 14500/25000 XP
engie [AS]: Level 0: 13000/25000 XP
Redstonetam15 [AS]: Level 0: 10000/25000 XP
Nikitaw99 [AS]: Level 0: 4000/25000 XP
CobaltShade [AS]: Level 0: 6000/25000 XP
JOEbob [PS]: Level 1: 10000/30000 XP
Combat Specials: Portaltech, Lv: Basic

Perceptual shift 9/10
PERCEPTUAL state 10/10
an item, 1/2 of a pair, appears in my hand. i store it in my inventory.
i ask the simumodder for a clarification on any downsides specials have, if there exist. since Portaltech(basic) has not been actualy used yet(in a post), I prepare to use it, before realiseing that theres a better way. oh well, i don't think you can alter specials. i use Portaltech (basic) on TinCube, before ripping off some of it with a mechanical glove, before the plant from last turn is teleported to a small alter. i place the tincube part on one part of the altar, as well as a miniature black hole , held in a shield to keep the world intact, and a lot of glutony essence (does it help that i haven’t eaten for 9 hours before this post?) . using a minor abiity from the PERCEPTUAL state item, a spear of opal energy flys forth, darting and dipping as it dodges around, avoiding a second light, this one a dark obsidian, which moves more sluggishly , but efficiently. the two lights strike the plant at the same time, starting the ritual. a runed circle appears, and above it several more, each smaller but more detailed, before a detailed circle of blue appears on the plants forhead and i think this image fits, just replace the 3 white symbols in the circles with a rock, a wisp, and a plant. user posted imagean aura of bloodred light, dim, but there, appears. the previous items dissolve into light, gray-white and [NULL];, flashing quickly, and flying into the circle atop the plant, which flashes a few times, before i retrieve a corrupted pair of pruning shears. yes, i'm taking the wrong side/corruption thing a bit far, no, i don't care. as the plant grows and mutates, i prune and snip, keeping it from overburdening itself. this also eradicates the last remains of the holy aura from the robot. then i break the shears and a shock wave of darkened life energy flows fast, before i lift my hand and it all zips inward, forming a small orb of concentrated power, which i infuse with some perceptual aura, causing it to also alter how the one i infect with this is perceived, though only slightly. i throw the orb, and it flys forward, 3 trails of different colours trailing behind it, green, blue, and brown. the orb impacts directly, and !8GiS)@*E48FWE happens. oops, perception removed that. let me try aga@$ !@#%^%^*%^%#$. nope. oh well. the plant-beast grows a new portion in its stomach, giving it the ability to use Any matter to fuel its growth, as all matter contains atoms (or light? maybe). the plant is warped, and appears on the field. it runs at the TinCube and starts chomping parts off, before i warp in and spears of dark opal energy fly forth, striking the TinCube in the parts of it nearest to the floor, holding it in place and sucking some of its life into me. a electric spear solidifies in my hand, and i throw it, the cube zapping and shifting, before my hands glow grey and yellow, and tear through the cube like a sun-hot hand through a tin cube, cleaving it in half again and again, before i slam my hands to the floor and a series of stone spikes fly up, bursting through what little remains, before a burst of fire flys from my hand, and they all melt to lava in a moment, spinning through the air and forming several small orbs and spikes, which cool Just enough to solidify, before i move my arms back, the spikes and balls moving backwards, and clap them together, all the spikes embedding themselves into the cubes remains, before they all expand, the foriegn matter filling the cracks and pushing the cube into tiny. little. shards. i swing my arms in a circle, which brings all the shards and sand of dirt and silt, forming a large arrow and thrusting it forward, where anything that remains is consumed by my plant-beast-pet, it then resumes protecting the mutating remains of a holy robot it layed its egg in.
[[also i wanted the levels back- just one suggestion: make it easier to level up for lvl zero people later on so the early players aren’t absurdly strong in an unremovable way- so if i joined in 15 turns, there wouldnt be a bunch of lvl 15 people i can't catch up to]]

Auth raises his blade, and clenches his left had into a fist, swinging that into the air. Four massive spires of ink leap from the ground and stab the Terror Pig through the hooves, and it gets suspended in the air.

Now, on to other business.

Auth uses his Ink Control powers to launch himself into the air. He summons a pair of Orbitar looking things, before summoning another wave of ink to fire himself at the Terror Pig. He holds his blade forward, and inserts it into the Terror Pig's gut. Due to it being suspended, Auth uses Inkscalibur as a knife to gut the pig, as the blade glows with the power of Violant. The pig's Blood marks the ground, tainting it with crimson red, as Auth kicks up off the pig, retracting the spires, and Auth throws her blade at the Terror, before retreating back to a safe distance.

Auth then turns to Alicia.

Ah, Alicia? Sounds like a familiar name. It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Cambridge.

Auth rocks on the balls of his feet. He's a bit tense at the moment.

SPECIAL ATTACKS:

CRUSADE OF THE LOST: 7/10 (+1 from Trickle)

SEEKERS OF THE NAME: 6/10 (+1 from Consumer)

+1 to Trickle

(Note to self: +1 Consumer. Also, another note to self: Catch up to Trickle and Consomme. Somehow.)

Aww. I was hoping to get 20K for that.
But this puts more tension between me and a Consommé, hahaha, and it seems that Hez is catching up.

Also, I'll make sure that I get 20K at one point or another, if you know what I mean. ;3

I run over to holy robot 1 and take out an Axe, the hilt mossy and green, before i swing at him/it. several spores swing from the axe and land in its joints and cracks. i swing again, hitting it hard in the stomach, and backflip back. green energy glows out from the dent, and any cracks it may have caused, before the axe morphs into a bow and an arrow appears. i pull back the bow, take aim, and release the arrow.it flys forward, the tip burning green, before it hits, and the spores from before grow quickly, weakening the robot and causing it to slow, before my arm flys sideways and the plant morphs, hardening and changing colour towards purple, before a strange liquid begins to ooze out of the robot, corroding its interior, while the exterior is barely held together by plant matter. i take out a wand, the top glowing muddy green, and swing it over to the plant-bot-thing, a tendril of toxic looking light flying through, and striking the plant-thing, which glows sickly, and suddenly expands, growing to the size of a large, well muscled human in moments, before growing a purple and green mouth akin to that of the 'chomper' in plants versus zombies and several tendrils, each spiked. it does not grow roots, however, and though it barely resembles the robot at this point, it uses the plating as armor, as well as a frame. i swing the wand once more, in an intricate pattern, a circle with 4 symbols and an orb in the middle, my wand leaving a glowing trail in its wake, before i thrust my wand upwards and many arrows of dim, sickly light fly forth from the circle, twisting and moving around. most strike my abomination of a plant, but a few fly out, landing on the ground or entitys, corrupting the world Ever So Slightly. the holy aura of the citadel dims, though not completely extinguished, and weaker enemy's suffer from poison. the many arrows that strike my beast strengthen it, and then i run forward, putting my hand on its forehead analogue, as blue-green veins and cracks spread forth from the point of impact, and the beast roars, quickly dimming to a whisper, before it is engulfed in blue and green fire. moments later, the blaze dims and the plant is still there, now more slender, though still quite large, it has hardened dirt and spikes on several parts of itself, like armor, but there is still a problem. it can't see. i retrieve a glyph from my pocket, the symbol bright green, and press it to the plants nose-analogue. 2 cracks, glowing bright, appear where its eyes should be, and the plant matter there falls away, before it opens its "eyes", which have dark purple pupils, and quickly blinks several times, then speaking coherently "hello, master. what are your orders?" to which i nod at the other robots, which stare in fear, and it runs forward, biting off ones head, before grabbing the other two and throwing them into the pit from when i tried to kill the observer, (it was already dead). i then thrust my wand into the ground, and my aura flows out, a wall of sickly light surrounding the beast, myself, and the broken robot, before the beast 'vomits' into the robot, a brown core slipping out and entering the robot. i point my wand and another tendril bursts forth, connecting the wand and the core, before the core splits open, and the same process as before begins, though slower this time as i have less energy to provide. i hand the first beast a thin blade and a throw a crystal into it, the crystal will matter in 4 turns time when the beast finishes digesting it.  the beast i have already created will guard the once still mutating from attacks if at all possible.

You attempt to inflict poison on all of the weak entities. The only entities weak enough to count happen to be the Holy robots which get eaten anyways.
All four Holy Robots destroyed.

Trickle, I believe we had issues with retroactive edit wars in DLE. The same thing is applicable here. Unless it's something of utmost importance, and probably not even then, you really shouldn't be editing posts specifically to counter other player's attacks. No rule was made about it before, so you get a pass this once, but don't do it after.

Ninjaneer: HP: 40000/40000
Attacks:
Build Sentry: Summons a Level 1 Sentry.
Upgrade Sentry: Turns a Level 1 Sentry into a Level 2 Sentry, and a Level 2 Sentry into a Level 3 Sentry.
Sentry Jump: Deals 5000 damage to the Ninjaneer and grants Airborne status for a turn. Requires a Level 3 Sentry to use.
Wrench Slam: 10000 damage. Minicrits if airborne.
Specials:
Skip A Bunch Of Steps: Summons a Level 3 Sentry. Takes three turns to charge.
Passives:
Hidden: 50% dodge chance when not airborne.

Level 1 Sentry: HP: 5000/5000 Attack: 2000

Level 2 Sentry: HP: 10000/10000 Attack: 2000
Passives:
Dual-Fire: Can attack twice in a turn.

Level 3 Sentry: HP: 15000/15000 Attack: 2000
Specials:
Rocket Launch: 10000 damage. Takes two turns to charge.
Passives:
Dual-Fire: Can attack twice.

1000 damage to the Terror Pig, and it is now Burning for 2 rounds.
1 Terrifying Porkchop summoned.

I... don't even know where to begin rebalancing this entity. It has more health than a standard entity twice its base charge time, summons alarmingly powerful minions on a whim AND has an incredibly powerful passive. This thing is strong enough to be an Elite, little to no questions about it.

I do a thing, which summons a shrubbery, and pull out a random keyboard, where I begin typing the code for an entity
Virus: 1/10
OOC: Should I put stats for the entity, or does GM do that?

Welcome!
You summon a shrubbery, which is shortly eaten by the Terror Pig.

There's two ways to do it. You can try to calculate the stats yourself based off the "standard entity strength" given in the rules (a basic entity of 10 charge strength would have 35K health and deal 5K damage.) and then I'll balance it from there. If you want to do something complicated with your entity, it's generally best to PM the GM about stuff to work out the details.
But yeah, generally its "Player draws up rough draft of stats" followed by "GM nerfs/buffs entity"

Loudly.

You proceeds to deal 2000 damage to the Terror Pig and then eat the Terrifying Porkchop your attack spawns.

Okay, first, you're directly breaking the rule against combining your own charges. You can kinda circumvent it by having entities that spawn with the intent to combine afterwards, but that only counts if there's time where they are vulnerable in between. Combingin artifacts is DEFINITELY a no go. You're going to PM me or otherwise state the stats or you're getting your charge nosold.
Yes, there is a downside to specials, spamming them will decrease your damage output, and every use after the first of a given ability halves your XP output.
You deal 3000 damage to the TinCube, even with Trickle's efforts to stop you.

Yeah, point. It might get easier to level up, but I'm going to decrease the "power" of the leveling, so that new players won't be at a significant disadvantage anyways.

TinCube charges straight into the Terror Pig for 6000 damage, getting bonus from the attack descriptor Trickle gave it last round. Not only that, but the force of impact sets the Terror Pig on fire again, adding another round onto burning.
The Spiked Paragoomba doesn't have the same luck, but it still deals 1500 damage.
Two Terrifying Porkchops are spawned.
The terrifying Porkchops return fire, or, uh. Something like that. Regardless, 3500 damage is dealt to the Spiked Paragoomba, and because random.org is a meanie, set it on fire for 1 round.
The Terror Pig lets loose an earth-shaking squeal and charges straight for the TinCube, goring it with its massive tusks for 10000 damage.
The Simumodder decides that he likes the current weather, and kicks it up a notch, making it so that now not only do all entities have a chance of inflicting burning with their attacks, but burning will not wear off while the weather remains. He also enchants the terrifying porkchops to be fireproof, because its just asking for quick-cheeze otherwise.

Things tick up and down. 2 Holy Robots are spawned, and the Terror Pig and Spiked Paragoomba both take 2500 damage.

Weather: Gasoline Rain (Every entity attack has a 25% chance to inflict burning, prevents burning from losing duration)
Terrain: Cathedral/Factory (Spawns two Holy Robots every round.)

Sorry for the retroactive editing for Joe's attack, I was just pretty pissed at him for doing that. Sorry. D:

Anyway, Trickle runs at TinCube in slow motion, while the song "WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD" plays.
Since the song is so positive, Trickle loads it into the MP35, and shoots every time the world "wonderful" is played, thus healing TinCube.

"Yes, it works like that."
"And you can't make it not work like that."
"Since it's my weapon."

Trickle then proceeds to put on a smug teenage-like look on his face.
That smug fucker.
That cheeky, smug fucker.
He infuriates me.
A bunch.
I guess...?

I'm really tired, Pi, don't judge me B(
Yes, I put on shades for that face since the normal : and ) produces an emoji.

noting the apparent problem with my charge that was 2 parts, i request to be forgiven, as i did not know it was frowned on.
EDIT: +1 tricklejest
if it helps, i wont put anything in my charge slots this turn.
perceptual state 10/10 doing now
PERCEPTUAL shift 10/10 doing now instead if ok? otherwise i use it from before
EDIT2: what if there just separate things i can use at the same time? is that better?
the perceptual state & shift are like a weaker version of my Leg. armor from DLE, if acceptable. i think piono is seems more active with things like saying if something is too op, so if it is, i hope theres no fundamental problems, just strength or charge amount.
max energy if there are no problems: 200. per turn charge: 40. effects are portals (like i used in portaltech but manipulatable instead of used the same way each time) and general effects that are individually balanced.
does not start with any energy.
portals cost 40 energy, and i will auto use them to protect myself.
noting that the plant didnt appear, and after mentioning to the gm and finding out i couldn’t attack and summon (shoulda figured), i decide to just attack instead this turn. the shift and state charges take the form of a sword( as in thats what they are, not they can change shape) and i leap forward, slicing at one holy robot before leaping back onto a hill and preparing for them to arrive, drawing a circle on the floor, trying to add a gun to my sword, and generaly fooling around.
once they arrive, i roll past them, spin, and start fighting with my sword again, it visually shifting to a dark sword, like a reflection in a broken mirror went through a 'darken' filter, slicing several times at exposed points like the knees and neck, before i plunge my sword strait into one of their torsos, lifting them with it and diverting their power. the robot quickly shuts down, and i swing it at the other. the other bot flys off my blade at just the right time, pushing them both off the cliff. i leap down, kick the active one in the head, and jump off the pile. this shift causes them to fall into an unloaded chunk, flying downwards before it finally loads. they are now inside solid rock. after 4 more seconds, the simulation realises 'hey, they should be above ground', so it telaport them. . .
strait into my sword. i yank it out, and start fighting again, easily striking past their slowed reflexes and heavy damage. after a few more blows and a knee to the gut-analoug, i chop off his head and put the bots remains in my inventory. then i go to a smeltery, and throw them in, just in case. after i make the metal into limited edition commemorative coins of the battle of simumodder, i buy a ice cream cone and- oh, right, this is my action. well, they probably died.
