I bash the Royal Guard's head in repeatedly with a twig.

Hint Lord: 15/15 EXPENDING...

A man in a cheetah-print jersey appears at the edge of the battlefield. He pulls out a megaphone, and gives a speech.

"I'm Terry Hintz, people call me Lord of the Tutorial. I've been traveling the lands leaving my hints for all to see. I'm a pretty big deal. Got a lot of fans."

He then decides to join the [AS] side.

stats

Terry Hintz [AS]: HP: 40,000/40,000
Attacks:
Verbal Bash: Terry uses disparaging words to upset the opponent. Can either inflict Crying (-25% damage) or Pissed (inaccurate, but +50% damage) for 2 turns.
Cheer!: Terry gives a restorative chant. Heals one ally by 10,000 health.
Cool Pose: Terry strikes a pose that makes him feel like he's cool, but he really isn't. Gives him Regeneration for 2 turns.
Hot Dance: A mysterious attack, it's hard to decipher what's going on. 10,000 fire damage to one target. Takes 2 turns to charge.
The Last Cheer!: Terry gives a cheer that's so enthusiastically restorative, it brings tears to the recipient's eyes. Restores 35,000 health and inflicts Crying for 2 turns.
Super Cool Pose: Terry strikes a pose that makes him feel like he's super cool, but he really isn't. Gives him Regeneration for 4 turns. Takes 5 turns to charge.
The Hottest Dance: What is this?! This POWER! 40,000 fire damage to a single target. Takes 7 turns to charge.
Passives:
Lord of the Tutorial: Every 3 turns, Terry can scan an entity in addition to his regular move.

Spoiler Alert
Living Virus 2.0: HP: 20000
ATK: 10000
Inherent Instability (passive): Gives the Virus +5% dodge and ignorance. Description: Since Viruses (virii?) are so unpredictable, it would make sense that the physical version of one is! The physical form of the Living Virus changes enough that it might cause some attacks to miss, or some attacks of its own to hit
Hack (active)(5 turn charge): Prevents the target entity from using charge skills for 3 turns. Description: *Insert Sombra OP joke here*
Projectile Virus(active)(10 turn charge): Removes 5% of current HP upon use. Fires a fast, powerful projectile.
Description: The Living Virus takes part of its own body and fires it at the opponent
Adaption(active)(7 turn charge): Restores 30% of the Living Viruses missing HP. Virus cannot attack the turn it uses this charge.
Description: The Living Virus codes itself to have less damage by restoring an earlier state of being. Since this requires concentration, it cannot attack that turn
Randomized Attack(passive): Roll a D3. With a 1, Hack increases. With a 2, Projectile Virus. With a 3, Adaptation. Then flip a coin. Heads, the charge increases by one. Tails, it increases by two. This is the only way the Virus can charge attacks
Description: One of the Viruses attacks randomly increases how much power goes to it that turn. Also the only way the Virus can charge
Good to know!
TAIABTO: 5/5 (+2'd by somebody last turn, I forget who)
I finish coding a secondary AI, and implement it into the Living Virus 2.0. Randomized Attack takes effect twice, once at the beginning of TLV2.0s action, and once at the end

Trickle takes the 20 from Joe and the 10 from 1412 and combines it with his own 20 to make himself vulnerable!
The system will be given to Piono either next turn or the turn after that, I still have to polish it and all that.

"Heck yeah! Time to kick some butts..."

Trickle throws a potato at Obscura.
The potato then eats Obscura in an obscure(-a) way before turning into a teapot, one that weighs around ninety tons and squashes Obscura to a pulp.

Do it!!!
Just do it!!!

Don't let your dreams be dreams
Yesterday you said tomorrow
So just do it!!!
Make your dreams come true
Just do it!!!

Some people dream of success
While you're gonna wake up and work hard at it
Nothing is impossible

You should get to the point
Where anyone else would quit
And you're not going to stop there
No, what are you waiting for?

Do it!!!
Just do it!!!
Yes you can
Just do it!!!
If you're tired of starting over
Stop giving up.

This motivates the Anti-PETA Supporters and doubles their attack for the turn.

The Doctor: 20 / 20 (Waiting...)

+1 to JOE

Current Summons

Still not wanting to head anywhere near the Zomboss Training Facility, Marron takes potshots at the aforementioned facility from a distance. The bullets really don't do much; bullets against a gigantic building of undetermined material generally don't do much, unless you're playing Starcraft or the bullets are big enough. Marron however, does know of one type of bullet that can destroy buildings rather nicely; the ballista bolt! Which isn't really a bullet, but it's almost certainly close enough. Enlisting Ette's help, she wheels some logs into position to use as wheels, just in case she needs to move the piece of siege equipment.

She then creates a platform out of some wooden planks which is then planted upon the wheels. Then, a plump, sturdy log is placed at the front of the platform. A little notch is cut into that log, where a long rectangular rod made out of planks goes. It is then bolted to the plump log, creating a hinge for the weapon. Two large, flat-ish wooden boards are then attached to the sides of that rectangular rod, making the... "arms" of the ballista or whatever they're called. Two iron cables, which Ette grabbed from bits of the wreckage of the facility, are attached to the ends of the arms, and attached to a little slidy thing on the main rectangular rod. A large log is then loaded into the chamber which Marron carved out! She stands atop the mechanism, and tells Ette to fire it at the Zomboss Training Facility!

From beneath her legs, a gigantic log sails into the Zomboss Training Facility, piercing right through it and leaving a gigantic hole! Marron jumps off, loads another log in with the help of Ette, and then fires again! The second log breaks into bits and pieces upon impact with the facility! Marron then loads a third log into the device, which she sets alight using Crimson Eyes! This accidentally sets the whole ballista alight, and Ette fires it off before the ballista falls apart. The flaming log sails directly into the Zomboss Training Facility, causing a massive inferno! Marron then redirects the rest of her eye lasers into the facility, before dropping to the ground, clutching her literally on-fire retinas. Ette pours a bucket of water over Marron's face, extinguishing the flames that have caught within her eyes. A few eye drops later, and Marron's eyes have stopped hurting violently.

She then takes a notice to all of the +1's she's getting. She has a fanclub! Or something! Ette seems to suggest giving out little presents like the one that she gave to Speed. She gives a "Why not?" and decides to charge those later. Oh, she also talks with Battlefury...

tc: Hey, have I seen you before by chance?
tc: In Chaos's mindscape?

I command my basic zombies to attack Joebob and the other ones to target Marron in the EotB.

I also try out some rocket science.
"Let's see... Assuming Einstein's theory of relativity is correct, crossing the propellant with the payload will lead to a singularity that could cause massive damage to anything nearby if the polarities were to be reversed."
the resulting technobabble powered rocket flies directly towards Marron and detonates her face.

I look at marron and see them using a balista. this gives me the idea of using catapults. well, for this attack anyway. I start training a large group of people to build a simple and highly inefficient catapults, which they then use to launch marshmallows. the marshmallows land on a large and treacherous mountain, which lures the guards away from their posts. i then inform them they can make any sort of launcher they want, and have free access to gunpowder and similar materials. the slavesvolunteers make a wide variety of catapults. I then use the power of ridiculous faulty logic to convince the world scaling it up will still work, if only for a while. using the array of oversized thing launchers, I blow large holes in the walls of the facility, before switching out the explosive ammunition for plant seeds and rakes, as well as a single burrito. the plant seeds start to grow, though it takes time since i can't launch sun, and the rakes prevent the place from continuing to train zombies- the graduates all die from rakes to the face. the burrito lures in a player from PVZ2, and they go on a rampage through the place looking for it. after they exhaust their doom-shrooms, cherry bombs, and other explosive plants, I tell them where the burrito they sensed was. and they leave (the plot of PVZ2 is literally dave wants to eat the same burito again, so you go time traveling).

Marron facetanks the rocket from 1412. Of course the explosion hurts and topples her over, but the important thing is that it didn't kill her. Ette helps her sister up, and suggests for her to call some backup for now instead of needlessly wasting some energy. Marron bobs her head, and then uses Utter Chaos Advanced on the Zomboss Training Facility!

tc: I thought Chaos told me he didn't want to-

A glitchy limb appears from the floor, and shooshpaps Marron. She promptly shuts up.

20 17/20. (+8 from Battlefury, whewlad)
20 4/20.

+2 to Battlefury.

Aurelion Sol uses Celestial Singularity, and begins brewing up a star!

(Since I am fairly sure Obscura is of ambiguous gender, I'll generally be referring to Obscura as tem.)

Obscura suddenly shudders in the most undefinable way. Perhaps fear? Envy? Who knows. Tem suddenly feels the undefinable presence of something more undefined than tem. Something undefineable happens go tem, and as a result, tem takes damage. Tem then finds temself in another place and another time. These things, however, can be defined. From what tem can tell, the place is something akin to a vast plain made of clay, while the time seems to be approximately three days in the past. How can tem tell? Well, tem has a fancy digital watch, silly.

Anyway, Obscura notices a corner shop a short walk (does tem even walk or just float or something?) away. The corner shop's loneliness in this massive, desolate clay desert did not come as unusual to tem. What did seem unusual was the fact that it wasn't actually in, on or near a corner of any description. Tem decides that a corner shop being misnamed is a perfectly good reason to check it out.

As tem heads inside, tem notices a newspaper near the counter, sporting the date along the top. It also features a fern growing competition being cancelled, due to lack of participants. This is incredibly important, and I would like you to keep this information in mind as you read further on. Make sure to pay attention to every detail in this paragraph describing the competition; I wouldn't want you to miss anything. The ederly man behind the counter notes your interest, and offers you a flyer for the competition. As you scan through it, you take notes of the encyclopedia worth of rules, and make sure to closely examine the list of banned fern species.

Obscura, on the other hand, is interested in something else. Something... undefineable. The man comes around the side of the counter to show tem a yellowed bounty poster. There's no picture. Or bounty for that matter. Given how undefinable it is, it'd be folly to try and quantify it's threat level. Obscura makes it tem's mission to seek out this mysteriously undefined... something, and defeat them. But first, tem would need to train. In an undefined way, of course.

Day after day after day for three days, Obscura [REDACTED]. Training montage over? Cool. Tem is now thoroughly [REDACTED]. Tem was the most undefined [REDACTED] in all of [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. The undefinable something that claims to be more undefined than tem must know tem is here now. Perhaps the undefinable something will fear tem. Or perhaps envy tem. Who knows.

Obscura approaches [REDACTED], forcing tem to bask in tem's undefinedness. Something undefineable happens to the undefineable something, causing it to take damage. A few moments later, the damaged, undefined something suddenly vanishes, to another place, another time. Huh. Ever get that feeling of deja vu?

And the moral of the story is...
[In case I hadn't hinted at it enough already, Obscura has met tem's past self (the one at the very start of this attack). And the Obscura at the beginning of this attack was sensing their future, somehow more undefined future self (due to their training) all this time. I just thought I would need to make that clear. I just thought being so threatening to your future selves' primary quality that they would attack you was pretty interesting.
...
The fern competition was just a Stanley reference.]

Also, this technically isn't a paradox, unless Obscura dies from the attack somehow. In the case of Obscura somehow being dead, this will instead summon some random ally with covert stats.

[SO LET'S TRY AGAIN]

An new challenger approaches, for real this time...

I appear from somewhere with a cloak of the pink fluffy dragon while I wore the suits of blue and pink while I got the book of monsters and mysterious beings in my pocket.

Meanwhile, I got the call from someone which is my master.

Tailclaw: I have deployed you into the battlefield so do not die because you gotta keep fighting and keep the zombies up.

I am [AS]

I look at the Worshipper before I flick both of my fingers, generating an red and green knives on my hands before I smile at it.

I toss the red knife at the worshipper then the red knife turns the worshipper red before it bursts into flames, running around the place before lying on the floor.

I toss the other knife which is the green knife but the knife turns into an acid before the worshipper turns into a skeleton before I toss a spell which makes the worshipper explodes into bits.

"Greetings "new Challenger" (I do not Know your (((IC))) name)"
"When i sensed your approach (((saw the placeholder last round))) I was hoping for a new ally..."
"i guess that hope was made to be dashed."
"regardless, i do not wish to be too hostile. I don't have any reason to dislike you, really."
"so, greetings."
"also why did you attack the worshiper? hes only healed things so far, and never did anything to you"

I glance over to the zombies... they look like they might be a problem if i leave them alone. targeting the coneheads, I blink over to the first one and kick it in the shin. it stumbles back, and I blink again behind it, stabing it in the back, before swinging my sword of solid-state energy in  a half circle behind me. the zombie slips off the blade and falls back. it slowly gets up, and starts to attack me. I then inform it that it is already dead. because it is so stupid, it thinks this means it has 0 hp, and loses any hp it still has, rather then "you are a zombie so you are (un) dead.". the other 3 coneheads i'm targeting, upon discovering this, lose a significant amount of health, though the placebo effect doesn't kill them entirely. i then throw doeskin at them, without knowing what it is and only knowing my computer auto-corrects doesnt to it. I blink over to them in succession, landing a slash and then jumping back, kicking them in the process, in order to gain a better vantage to my next blink. I then blink to a decent distance and lure all 3 of the targeted and still living coneheads in a line, before throwing the sword. since it is made of solid-state perceptual energy, and I am a skilled user of perception, I can make it stay on path, fly really fast, and always slice the zombie perfectly. the 3 coneheads then die, again, and have a peashooter spit on their graves repeatedly.

You do realize that you can't start out on the PS faction anyways, right?

As for my action, I look at the Royal Guard and hack it, because everything can be hacked, and everyone. after hacking it, I hack it's blade, and then pull out a hacksaw and hack at the guard's face. due to the other hacking it can't raise its blade to defend itself and dies.

Okay, rebalancing is being done here, because the base damage for something with 40K health and 15 charge is only gonna be like 8.5K
Crying already has an effect, as a warning. Pissed off changed to Enraged because I feel that name fits better.
Cheer!'s effectiveness reduced to 8000.
Regen effectiveness of Cool Pose set to 5000 for 2 rounds.
Last Cheer given charge time of 5 turns

Limit Break: Crimson Eyes!
Now, nobody has made much note of this, but being a Ruby Rose... expy let's say, Marron's eyes have special properties to them as well. While Ruby's eyes do that... shiny white freeze and kill all Grimm in a certain radius thing, ©haos isn't really into boring things like that. He decided to give Marron something extra that she's about to unlock. Marron looks at her opponent angrily, holding her weapon at the ready, and charges at them. The enemy laughs, and because of having watched her actions before, easily knocks her to the ground. The combination of both the narration prompt talking about her past with Chaos and having been just utterly disgraced by that failed attack which honestly should have hit if not for the narrative prompt interfering sends her into a rage. She stands up, glares at her enemy and screams. And lasers come out of her eyes. A massive blast of dark red energy screams across the battlefield and completely engulfs her opponent.

Obscura takes 8000 [REDACTED].
...Oops. I missed.

Alright, I'm sorry to announce this guys, but I've finally decided I'm going to drop the leveling system. I've just... had enough of that particular problem. It WAS kind of cool, but I'm fairly certain it's been nearly doubling the length of my updates trying to not only keep up with all the EXP gains but coming up with combat specials and new limit breaks constantly. It takes up more than half of the space of the EoTB for goodness sakes!

As it turns out, that's a bit more than I'm able to handle, and it's been sapping my motivation to do this on several occasions. So after several weeks of deliberation, I've decided that yes, the leveling system needs to go.

It was a cool experiment, but ultimately one that didn't pan out.
Sorry to you guys that were looking forward to your high level stuff. Final Smashes and might still make appearances later on. Comb Raves definitely will if this game lasts long enough.

EoTB:
The first thing that happens is Aurelion Sol flying high up in the air and curling around itself once again. The light seems to be sucked from the air around it (and the air too) as it creates another Celestial Singularity. Hat_Daggzz aids his leader (I won't say owner that's derogatory) in his assault on the Terrifying Porkchops, and wipes out two of them, the Egghead Zombie follows with and bludgeons two more to death with its head. The PETA non-supporters all rally together. They've been minicritted and they already hit like trucks so whatever they hit is going to be feeling it almost immedaitely. And they choose... The vengeful God. In a flurry of ham sandwiches and butchers knives the blood shield is completely destroyed and the Vengeful God itself takes 8000 damage.

The Hanged Man takes out the GLORY TO ARTSTOSKA THE ZALISKA and takes a shot at the Worshipper, dealing 10000 damage. Terry Hintz Cheer!s up one of his allies, Hat_daggzz specifically, and restores 8000 health to him. The Lving Virus glitches out, spazzes and then no-clips through the air propelling forward at high speed, smashing into the Obscura at high speed with a sad and disconcerting twanging sound and a poof of various random particle effects, dealing 10000 damage.

The zombies have been split between two targets, the primary group of zombies shambles after JOE, chunking 2 hit points off of his bar right away. The coneheads and bucketheads shamble after Marron and deal 3 damage. This makes me realize that really, player HP needs to be higher than the equivalent of a 10 post charge entity, and buff it to 20. 60K may seem like a lot but I don't want players to be spawn campable. The ZTF continues chruning out zombies as per the usual.

The Obscura looks around, and just decides to nondescriptly increases its own attack. This is getting ridiculous. Expect pain when this thing unlocks AoE attacks. The last terrifying porkchop goes after one of the zombies, and kills and eats it for breakfast. Specifically breakfast, not lunch dinner or any other meal. Just. Breakfast. The worshipper, lacking the explicit ability to heal itself, instead heals the Vengeful God. The Vengeful God summons up another fanatic warrior. Things aren't looking good for the PSes... not good at all.

There's another flash of red light. The Simumodder laughs as lightning criss crosses the sky and a thick, red liquid begins raining from the sky. Weather changed to blood rain. The Vengeful God feels itself being... empowered. The Vengeful God now has 1 passive blood gen every round, and gets double action. While the rain pours down thick, helicopters are heard, and down from the sky descends riot police. They immedaitely begin breaking up the riot, and misinterpret the AS as rioters! Riot squads will now spawn every round.

Notice: Blood Rain is a boss weather, this means that it can hold another weather type in addition to what it is right now, and will not lose the boss effect until the Vengeful God dies. Riot Control on the other hand WILL be changeable. Right now it would take a SMASH or a joint charge to change it, but give it a few rounds and you can regain control of the terrain. Mixed amidst the rain drops are a pair of +4s, one for ire and another for JOE.

Everything counts up and down.

Itinerary:
Destroy the Simumodder!
Keep down the Vengeful God’s summon count!
Defend the Zomboss Training Facility!

I attack the zomboss training facility. armed with a handheld bonk choy, some shoulder mounted snapdragons, and a few other surprises. when the first zombie comes to stop me, I don't even look at it. the snap-dragons shoot some fire and the earth swallows them whole. I don't need to look if i know exactly where they are. next, a buckethead approaches, and I kick it away. the fire from the snapdragons lights up the Gatling pee i throw at it, causing it to deal double damage. having snapped the bucket, I ignore it, as the snapdragons can kill it before it reaches me.
after a similarly easy myriad of attacks, I exhaust most of the facilitys defences and plant a green-glowing acorn. it immediately creates a 30 meter tall oak tree. I raise my hand and vines spread and float from a small seed, and float it to the tree. several green pods appear on the vines and the tree grows several limbs of bark. from then on whenever a zombie wandered through the area, the tree grabs it, rips open its head, and takes control, sabotaging everything undetected. then I explode the other side of the facility.(to draw attention away from the tree)
this longpost+charge hurts the facility and hopefully kills it
blood 11/11 +4 simu handing off to ire
next charges: 1/~10 dualty
1/15 blood mage
+2 ire, as always.
entity orders:
vengeful god uses convert, then summons a worshiper.
worshiper heals vengeful god.
fanatic warrior attacks aurelien sol
terrifying porkchop attacks aurelien sol
riot squads (apparently mine to command? thanks simu http://b3.ifrm.com/static/emo/1.png ) attack the facility.

for my normal action, I add onto the blood rain.

the guy in a red cloak causes tornados of fire to appear and ravage the land, before fusing them all into a single, very big tornado of fire. this tornado of fire is located directly on top of the [AS] side of the field, and I help the red guy give each of the [PS] entitys a fire shield to protect them from fire, and making an automatic-[PS]-fire-shield-generator.
[INTENT: add onto the terrain a firestorm effect which gives AS entitys burn, but leaves PS entitys alone.]
[yes i know you said i use terrain and weather way too much, but really, i thought about it for a while, and changing the weather to apply burn to [AS] is ridiculously more efficient then any attack i can do. even if the zombies function as a hoard, and even if it affected the PS, it still deals far more damage then any attack. they just have so many (lower strength) entitys.]
[also, you said you can't join as PS, but i'm pretty sure ire did?]
