3 Points into SPC, 2 into HP pls.

The Auth on the battlefield sighs a deep sigh of relief.

uA: Aww, and we just got back to working together. It was nice to know you are okay, Offbeat. Here you go.

Auth begins to kneel down in order to let Offbeat free, but is stopped by a swiftly-becoming-familiar voice.

aU: Wait. She and I need to have a few words.

uA: What about?

aU: None of your bloody business.

Auth sighs, feebly.

uA: It appears that somebody wishes to have a word or two, Offbeat. I hope you don't mind, they said it was important.

Upon receiving some sort of approval from Offbeat, both Auth and Offbeat are enveloped in brilliant sapphire blue flames. When they die down Offbeat is gone, but, by the yellowing in Auth's eyes, it becomes fairly clear that she has been taken into Auth's mind to have words with this "someone".

Offbeat would awaken in a monotone field, in front of the ruins of a large castle. Both because there appears to be nothing else in literally every other direction, and the sensation that something is calling her to the castle, that is where she would go.

Upon entering the lobby, bright red flames would appear in front of Offbeat, but at a safe distance. When these flames go away, a figure is left behind. He has the same basic body type as Auth, but is wearing a full suit instead of the trenchcoat style that Auth usually wears.

He's facing away from Offbeat, but his hair can be seen, looking as though each strand is a piece of silver thread. The being turns around, and opens his eyes. Slit pupils over red irises. This being resembles a proper vampire more than Auth does.

aU: Good. You've arrived. Welcome back, Offbeat.

This being says with a glare that demands respect. He floats in the air with fire spiralling out from behind him.

aU: You and I are going to have a quick little chat, and then you can go, okay?

The being's voice echoes through the room. Swiftly, he pulls out a box and flicks a switch in it to off.

aU: To ensure he cannot hear us. So, who was it?

He stops and thinks before sighing and trying again.

aU: That was probably too straightforward. I know that last time you were here, you spoke to somebody about something. I want you to tell me who it was, and I want to know what was said. And then we're done. Clear?

This being is extremely serious looking when he says it. It probably isn't the best idea to play around with him.

Meanwhile, back in reality, Auth draws some green bottles out of his pocket.

uA: Souls? Can do, that's not an issue. Sap...

Auth recalls the Green Sap Jar in the inventory.

uA: We have a jar of this green sap, I assume that will do? I'll have to check if it's okay with everyone else, since we only have the one... and we definitely don't have any spruce, I'll have to ask around to see if I can find any.

Auth looks concernedly at Omo.

uA: Do you feel okay walking? I believe it would be prudent to introduce you to the other residents of the Mindscape, seeing as your former home and the surrounding area has been completely and utterly destroyed.

Regardless of the response Omo gives, Auth nods.

uA: I do need to head back there, regardless. Come with me, if you will.

Auth heads back to everyone else, with Omo following maybe.

uA: Alright, everyone, I'm back, and not having a total meltdown this time.

Auth looks around at everyone. If Omo is with him, he whispers to her...

uA: You wish to introduce yourself? Or should I do it?

After Omo introduces herself (or not), Auth looks cautiously at Chloe, before looking for Marron, whom he seems to trust. After locating her, he looks nervously at her.

uA: Um, Marron, I need to ask you a question...

He coughs nervously.

uA: So, this might make me sound like a massive idiot, and I won't argue against you if that's the case, but... er...

uA: Could you tell me where I might be able to find some spruce Logs? It's kind of very important.

Auth looks at his hand. It's still covered in a deep-burgundy liquid, which is rather viscous. Though, it appears the place it was coming from has been plugged. Or stopped. Or something.

uA: I really should get something to eat. Or drink. Or something. I am feeling rather anemic right now.

With the zone 5 battle concluded, Op has apparently decided to take a bit of time to himself, standing a fair distance away from the rest of the group and staring off into the distance of the mindscape. The wind isn't howling, but the breeze is blowing, what with the rule of things that make people who are alone with katanas automatically seem cool in fictional media. After a long time of standing alone, Chloe's probably gonna wonder where the hell he went to, go wandering, probably end up finding out where he's standing and head on over to him. He continues staring off into the distance for a while, then decides to speak to himself.

"...With zone 5 now having been dealt with, it's time to head north. I suppose we're having a break from the action right now, though... maybe that's for the better. Could use the time to relax. Think about what might happen in the near future."

There's a long pause.

"Battle might be too strenuous to get a proper chance to say anything. Now might be a good time to see if there's anything to talk about, too... hmm."

He pauses again.

"If I can't be sure of how things are going to go for me, how can I be sure how things will go for anyone else?"

One more pause. He turns away from the view of the mindscape, and if Chloe is indeed there, he blinks before turning to face her completely.

"Hey. There anything you feel like talking about? Now's a good time."

<TURN TWO-HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX>
First, all the skillpoints are applied! The skillpoint allocations will be covered in this spoiler.

Skillpoints
Dimitri: +1 SPC
Toast: +3 MMP
Crystal: +2 SPC, -1 STR
Darkside: Full Reallocation. y u do this
Emerald: +1 AGI
Chlorin: +6 MHP
Jon: +1 AGI
Lyra:: +1 AGI
DCCCV: Full Reallocation. Didn't you just join like a few turns ago
Mabuz: +1 SPC
Berg: +1 STR. Reminder that you still have 3 points left!
Hezetor: +3 MMP
Author: +4 MHP, +1 SPC
Chloe: +6 MHP
Marron: +1 STR
Mari: +6 MHP, +1 INT
Others: Crippling Indecisiveness

...For reasons unknown to man, the Crimson Rod in the inventory suddenly grows a tumor. The tumor doubles the amount of HP needed used to cast spells. If this nerf would require a build rework, PM me- maybe we could work something out?

...Anyway.

Toast pops open the Thymium Gift Box, and finds a Tome of Blood Molding! How handy! She then tracks down the Inferno Arachnid, and then rips through the Cocoon holding the Mimic. It takes (20) damage... and survives the attack! It then menacingly looks at Toast... before running off somewhere where it might do something. Huh. Toast then levitates around to Zone 2, abusing her items to mine the Cobalt Vein. Having Gravcore Ore in her crown probably helped matters. Sadly, the vein is small in size, but it still yielded 12 Cobalt Bars. She then heads back to the Clearing, before collapsing. Marron runs over to her, and pokes her face.

tc: H-Hey, Toaster!
tc: You alright? Hello?

She grabs that pillow that the Operative made for her that one time, and props it beneath Toast's head. She then sits herself down next to her friend.

tc: I-If you're not okay, I-I'll... do some necromantic stuff!
tc: ...Actually, no. I'll probably just sew you a body or something. It'd work just fine.

Siria then equips the Source Code, then reveals that she's actually been replaced with Crystal! Crystal is now playing as Crystal. Weird. She- heck uhhhhh, HE, tosses together Scanner MK3, an Adamantite Bar, a Cinder Log, and 100 Tiny Meaty Chunks of Abyssal Ornstein. This results in the Halo of Knowledge! Somehow! Crystal then flings together a Diamond, 10 Iti Fragments, 20 Cinder Logs, a cloned Breath of the Void, an Element of Dawn, a Gold Ingot, and a bunch of flamey stuff to create the Charm of Clear Mind! DCCCV then looks at the walkthrough. It's the walkthrough. Not much to say about it. JOE then uses a Wooden Plank, a piece of Cobblestone, an Iron Ingot, a Bottle of Bottled Bottled Water, a Spell Sack (w/ 3 Gold), some Marble-

Well actually, it doesn't seem that JOE has a way to get to the Hollowed Temple, or even toss around items from Zone 5 to Zone 4, or any other zone. He opts to buy some Marble from Glitch Temmie for 1 Gold. He then uses 9 more Iron Ingots, 20 Cinder Logs, 25 Glitch Gel, 5 Gold Ingots, 5 Durasteel, and... uh... wait, you're not using the iron anymore? But you are? And now there's a cauldron, even though you crossed it out? Why are things dealing (a-b) damage? Are there variables I'm not seeing? Why are things being turned into walls? How much damage do spikes do why are the glyphs divided into several categories the opin glyphs have skillpoints i um aaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

The GM's head explodes, instantly failing the craft. If you make it clearer what the item does, and what materials you're using though, I'll just instantly let you complete the craft. No materials (or monies) have been expent. After failing this, JOE mines more of the Durasteel Vein, yielding another 10 Durasteel. His mining period is cut short when a gigantic grassy thing appears that's apparently not happy with his existence. It might mining the rest of that hard. You should totally kill it. Chlorin then uses 16 Leather, 4 Titanium, 1 Iron, a small bit of Rope, and the Crimera Cloak to create the Fancy Cowboy Outfit! It seems to retain the -1 AC however. A shame.

Lyra then mentions grabbing food. Mari (somehow) hears her through the gateway to Zone 1, even though they're actually pretty far apart and such.

ut: Yeah. Get me a burrito or something.
ut: okay thanks

Roxxanne then brings the good news of WARE's defeat and other stuff to Chloe and the others.

ga: Y-You did!? That's amazing!
tc: Oh, you did? Nice. That'd probably explain what's up with Toast...
tc: She didn't get fatally injured or anything, did she? I mean, she'd probably come back from it, but... I just need to know.

ut: You killed... THAT?
ut: Hahahaha, holy gorilla. I'm not sure if I should be offended that I didn't get to put him down myself, or if I should be singing your praises for killing that little gorilla.

ga: Anyway, I think we'll all be fine for Mythril. Unless somebody wants to give me a chunk, in which case I'll use it to the best of my ability!
ga: And, uh... well...
ga: ...Maybe we'll get lucky and the Butterfly won't attack us?
tc: I kinda hope it does. I wanna tear its wings off.
ga: You WANT to be attacked by the gigantic eldritch butterfly thing?
tc: I-I mean... W-We could totally take i-it!
tc: Shut up, C-Chloe.

ga: ...Are you scared, Marron?
tc: N-No way! Are you?
ga: O-Of course! It's alright to be scared, given what we're likely to deal with.
ga: B-But, I believe in us! All of us, working together!
ut: Yeah, we could probably take it. Really, WARE's likely to be about... at least twice as bad as the Butterfly.
ut: There's really nothing to worry about. Sure, we'll probably lose... I'm gonna guess Marron, but it'll be fine. One loss is to be expected.

tc: B-Both of you can shut up.

DCCCV then crafts the Hook of Absurd Mobility using the Toxic Scanner, the Christmas Hook, 1 Wooden Plank, 1 Dog Ingot (which decides to spare him for some reason), 1 Cobblestone, 10 Circuit Boards, 20 Wire Bits, 5 Phase Matter, the Fifteenth Sense, and the Frostspark Boots. He also purchases the Tome of Psycho Link, and then rewrites his skills. He also equips the Bloodstained Foil.

...In the distance, about a couple hunder meters away from DCCCV, is a feminine figure. It doesn't seem she's aggressive. Maybe she'll give chase once you enter a battle. Hezetor then looks up Mari's research on Thyme. There's... a surprising lack of information. Only the basics, along with the five recorded uses; once on a person called "Twinbuilder", once on a paper clip, once on a prince, once on an egg, and once on the Chairheir himself.

ut: Yeah. Surprising, right?
ut: I've mostly just dabbled in AI and entropic projects. Barely any thyme-based stuff.
ut: Mainly because it's rare, and also because it's deadly as hell.
ut: You've seen what it's done to Ire firsthand, I believe.
ut: ...Well technically, second hand. It was a memory, after all...
ut: ...I wonder if the actual me has more research on Thyme or not. He probably does.

Auth then talks with Omo. He hands her the Souls and the Green Sap Jar.

gg: Ah. Thank you.
gg: You could most likely use the sap from the Great Tree, however. Or perhaps you could go collect more sap, so that the loss of a single jar wouldn't be a big deal...?
gg: And... I can walk.
gg: Just stay by my side. I'm... yet to walk on these legs.

The two head to the Clearing. Chloe cheerily greets Auth upon his return.

ga: Oh, heya Auth! Auth and... Hm.
ga: Oh, who's your friend?

She stands up, and extends her hand in greetings to Omo. She smiles... and then expresses confusion, when Omo doesn't seem to understand what a handshake is. Omo bows, and then introduces herself... rather expressionlessly.

gg: Greetings. My name is Stella Omorika, of the Planet Sussui. It is a pleasure to be your acquaintance.
ga: A-And I'm Chloe Elem, of the planet... that isn't a planet, the Mindscape! Pleased to meet you!
[small][small]ga: Auth, is she okay? She seems... drained, to say the least.[/small][/small]

The two sit down to chat for a moment.

ga: So... if you don't mind answering, what happened to your legs? A-Are you okay?
gg: I'm... fine. My legs were obliterated by the Sphere, when it fired a gigantic laser at my place of residence. Barely anything survived.
ga: Ah...
ga: Well, I'm glad your okay, at the very least.
ga: Do you need anything? I could get you a snack or something.
gg: Please do. I haven't eaten for some time.
ga: Sure! Got any preferences?
gg: I... well, you probably don't have much of what I'd usually eat. Anything will do.

Chloe nods, and then pulls out a burrito from the inventory and hands it to Stella. She examines the treat for a few moments, before taking a cautious bite. Stella smiles weakly.

gg: Interesting. It's quite delicious.
ga: I'm glad you like it!

She nibbles away at the rest of the burrito. A new burrito spawns in the inventory. Chloe, then noticing the absence of the Operative, wanders off to go look for her... leaving Omo all alone. While that's happening, Auth asks Marron a quick question about logs.

tc: Sup. So, how's the wooden girl?
tc: But anyway, about the logs...
tc: I think that's actually a valid question.
tc: Pretty sure all the trees in this forest are oak. Oak and birch.
tc: You could probably scavenge around in Splinter Drift, or go and shell out the big bucks to Glitch Temmie to get some spruce.
tc: You could also beg Chaos to go to another island in the Mindscape that you haven't visited... but that's certainly out of your reach.
tc: ...Also, if you want, I could bake you something. Toast's out cold at the moment, and I think something nice and warm would be good for reviving her. No harm in making something for you, too.

Chloe then finishes her wandering, ending up a short distance behind the Operative. She waves, and gets in close.

ga: Y-Yeah. Talking would be nice.
ga: I-I'm... kinda scared about going up there. To the peak.
ga: Not only will we be fighting Zetta and Chaos... we'll likely need to duel the Butterfly, too.
ga: Call me silly and a worrywart if you want, but the thought of going up there fills me with dread.
ga: Marron, Ette, or Mari could get hurt, we both might d-die...

Her eyes grow watery. She inches closer to the Operative.

ga: I-I'm...
ga: I'm scared...

She goes behind the Operative, and gently wraps her arms around him.

ga: K-Keep me safe, a-alright?

The two stand there together silently for what's really only a few moments, but what feels like an eternity for Chloe. The mood is then violently bludgeoned to death by the sound of Mari swearing.

ut: Son of a gorilla! Who the hell stole the gorillaing Phase Matter!? I needed that, damnit!
ut: How the gorilla am I meant to make a teleporter without it? I don't have a magical steampunker lady to sell them to me for a bargain price of 2 gold and 50 silver!
ut: FUUUUUUU-

Chloe awkwardly giggles, tears still in her eyes.

ga: I should probably get going back soon.
ga: I... wanna stay like this a bit longer, though.

<HOLEQUEST>
Darkside does something with a hammer. Nobody knows what happened. Damage is dealt to the Mythril Dweevil, but nobody knows the number dealt. Well the damage dealt is actually (9), but it's not as fun if I tell you. Emerald then feeds the Mythril Dweevil some delicious hand grenades for (7) damage.

The Mythril Dweevil then rocks all over Emerald, Riko, and Darkside for (6) damage each! The Gold Dweevil then bonks Mabuz to 1 HP! Then suddenly, out of nowhere, a treasure chest drops out of the sky! Somebody should open it! Or kill the Dweevil! DILEMMA!

what if you have like 100 DGE and you're standing behind a lamppost
The lamppost takes the hit for you, and dies.
does the lamppost just become magnetic
Yes. Yes it does.
also, overkill damage to the thing won't harm the things hiding behind it
so being next to cover terrain can't ever really be worse then not standing next to one

-???, Castle Ruins-

...Well, you’re not wrong. All of that would definitely have happened had Offbeat woken up.

Unfortunately, you have overestimated the “power” of Offbeat. Oh, so very overestimated. By the time you realize something’s up, it’s already been an entire… two minutes, considering the actual timespan of DTG: Chaos. You eventually find her still asleep outside… but considering how sound she’s sleeping with everything that’s happening, you begin to doubt if she’s even alive… or if it’s a very convincing cardboard cutout.

Yeah, it’s the cardboard cutout, and now we’re going to stop questioning it. This is clearly the most logical explanation and we're going to stop talking about it now.

Really, narrator? It sounds more like you're trying to avoid confrontation.

Kiyohime, please leave me alone. You're not even in the right game yet.

-The Current Stage-

=TODO LIST=
1. make cool hat that enables a guaranteed mini-crit/crit... if the user gets a natural mini-crit/crit beforehand
2. give cool hat to operative
3. equip Temmie Syrup Helmet
4. laugh as you create infinite fun thyme:tm: for the remaining bosses

"...Okay, bye, I guess I'm getting lunch."

Lyra yoinks a piece of Mythril to cover the costs of food, forgetting that gold is a thing that potentially exists. Lyra then heads off to "Generic Food Place #514", which sounds pretty much exactly like it's titled.

"Not exactly the fanciest place, but really, who cares? Food is a requirement."

* ...But nobody's at the register.

"...You're kidding me. I could've sworn this place was open. I saw the sign lit up and everything."

"Then explain the hole in the glass door you made."

"Thaaaat was a mistake. I could've sworn it was an automatic one."

And, uh... wait, I actually need to post this. You know, I really have issues with scheduling. I'm just going to skip the entire setup of whatever the hell I was going to do and just throw the hat in. You're okay with that, right? Right?

Cheap Plastic Visor: A cheap visor. Like, dollar store cheap. It's amazing this is what Mythril is worth in the food economy.
EFFECTS:
- x2 SP Bar
- +1 SPC
- "Crit-Store": Scoring a natural mini-crit or crit will guarantee your next attack to also be a mini-crit/crit.

Lyra then throws the visor at The Operative, and places the Temmie Syrup Helmet on in slight annoyance. Whatever I skipped was probably weird.

DCCCV continues to stand there. The hook shakes. Nia's nearby. Raising his voice so that she clearly knows that he knows she's there, he speaks.

"In the next few minutes/hours, there will be several new developments. I need you to be aware and ready for that."

DCCCV continues to speak, regardless of the strange looks everyone else is giving him.

"You may be wondering: Am I brave, insane, or a bit of both? The truth is, I don't know. I had a crazy idea, and I have no idea whether it will work or not. But in the end, I want you to think of this as tying up a loose end. There are things that still need to be done here, and well, I think someone holding this for an extended period of time is one of them."

Is he just rambling to himself?

"Besides, I've always wanted to hold a sword. Now that I have, this is quite underwhelming. It's lighter than I expected."

Yep, definitely rambling.

--OUTTA DA HOLE--
Dark notes Mari remarking about how there was no Phase matter left for a Teleporter. He laughs, as a clone picks up the phase matter in the Creature Testing Chamber and puts it in the inventory. "There was a metric gorillaton of it in Zone 4. A couple hundred units in the Creature Testing Chamber from Zone 5's destruction." The DarkSide near Mari hands as much as she needs to her.

Dark pauses for a moment after handing the phase matter to Mari, before looking up to Nightmare Mountain. "So it's finally time... at long last I'll have a chance to pummel Zetta's skull into the ground. Though I don't know whether or not I should be needlessly excited or even just a bit terrified at what else is up there. Perhaps both."

He sighs, turns, and walks away, speaking to nobody in particular; "Soon... soon I'll get some closure. Just wait... I haven't forgotten about you yet..."

--HOLEQUEST--
"MIMIC! KILL IT WITH FI- oh wait... maybe ice would be better."
The mimic becomes instantly encased in ice. Dry ice. Then, after a certain amount of time, I grab the Mythril Dweevil and shatter the ice with it, like a hammer, by smashing it into the ice really hard. I do the same to the mimic if it didn't also shatter into pieces from the impact.

fire [c-d fire damage.]
water [applys soaked.]
air [+4 Mov to the target, but push them into a wall in range 5( else, the floor) and deal damage based on how close the wall is. floor is like a 5 away wall.]
metal [set a tile to "spikes" for 2 turns- spikes deals damage to anyone on it.]

Duragold glyphs:
5 celestial type, 5 maelstorm type.
celestial - use your action, gain +5? +10? SP.
maelstorm- create a maelstorm on the target square. maelstorm takes [glyphs used x1.5, rounded up] MOV to escape, and has glyphs used x.7 capture range rounded up. when within maelstorm, do 4-4 damage per glyph used. entitys within maelstorm can stand inside one another somehow.

3 Opin Glyphs:
when used, consult consumer; they decide what to have random explosion/exposure of/to opin flame do to the target. these glyphs do not regenerate. you may toss as many as you have if you wish at the enemy; this will linearly increase effect.
the Opin glyphs are supposed to be essentially "this does..... something...? "
depending on GM bs, it would probably buff bossfights and do weird things in general.

a feature I want on the entire weapon- scaling with INT, if possible, or requiring [something] INT to use, either or.

meanwhile, I tell the core that I do not want to fight, and didn't know it was the source of the enegy when I attacked it by accident.

Emerald stabs the Dweevil with its arch nemesis: Exactly 2root(i) tomatoes. Yes, stabbing with tomatoes

I'LL CRAFT EVENTUALLY! PROBABLY LATER TODAY

Emerald decides that he wants to make some more armor, because WHY THE FUCK NOT.
Ingredients used: Insanity's Topper x1, Mirror Charm x1, Iti Fragment x5, Gaoler's Honey x1, Anti-Wire Bits x23, Titanium Ingots x2, Durasteel Ingots x5, Dog Residue x653, Hollowed Logs x8.

Crafting thingies
Enerald collects all of these ingredients, being especially careful with the dog residue, before sitting down and laughing for a moment. Then he begins to work.

He sets the Insanity's Topper off to the side for now, it won't really be used other than as an assistant to the main event, so to speak. He takes the Iti Fragments, Durasteel Ingots, and Titanium Ingots, and then melts the Titanium and Durasteel together into a molten mass, which he drops the Iti Fragments into the slop. He pours the molten metal into a simple chestplate mold he made, with varying different segments and sizes to make some plats armor, making sure that both arm pieces have one Iti Fragment each in them, and the main chestplate has the remaining 3. He sets that off to the side and waits for it to cool as he moves into the next section of shit to do.

He takes the Hoplowed Logs and Dog Residue, in addition to the Anti-Wire Bits. He takes the Hollowed Logs and hollows them out from the inside, making them Hollowed Hollowed Logs, for a bit of redundancy. He cuts the Logs in half into semi-circle pipes, and placed them together in the semblance of leggings. From there he takes the Anti-Wire Bits and starts stringing the segments of Log together, allowing for some customization of size. From there he takes the Dog Residue, handling it with gloves, although he internally doubts that gloves would really protect him, and carefully applies it to the knee joints of the leggings, only using up some of the Dog Residue, and sets the rest off to the side.

From here, he takes Insanity's Topper, the Mirror Charm, and the Gaoler's Honey, and grins. Time for the fun stuff. Now then, he wasn't completely sure what all of these did, but Gaoler's Honey presumably would allow for greater than average mindscape manipulation if applied right, the Mirror Charm, which helps with sleep, and therefore dreaming, and the mindscape, should boost the power of the Gaoler's Honey even more, while the Insanity's Topper had more of a passive effect of lessening ones mental stability, allowing for ignoring ones perception of physics. He takes the Mirror Charm, and the Gaoler's Honey, and, firmly holding the belief in his mind that this would work as he thought it would, gently lowers the Gaoler's Honey into the Mirror Charm, where it hangs there, as if it was trapped in some kind of transparent amber. He grins, and laughs softly. From there he adjusts the length of chain slightly and sets the Mirror Charm, now with Honey, around the top of Insanity's Topper, resting on the edge of it.

There. It is done. The breastplate has cooled, and he applies the rest of the Dog Residue to the joints to allow for firmness while still retaining freedom of movement, the arm bands and main chest piece crackling with harmless, although cool looking, purple energy, the Leggings were complete from the moment he was finished with them, and the named as of just now Mad Dreamer's Topper.

The Dreamer Suit: A suit of armor made of lots of various things, including several dangerous materials. Allows one to impose their belief of themselves upon the mindscape, through applying their own Mindscape locally around themselves, and allowing them to conveniently ignore any repercussions this would have. After all, what makes madmen so dangerous is their ignorance of the world, and in a world where mind before matter is literal, this makes them infinitely more so. Differs in effect based on INT. The hat somehow doesn't interfere with your Helmet slot

Less than 3 INT: +2 HP, +1 AC.
3, 4, or 5 INT: +3 HP,+1 AC, +1 MMP
6, 7, or 8 INT: +3 HP, +2 AC, +2 MMP
9, 10, or 11 INT: +3 HP, +2 AC, +1 MP regen, +1 MMP
12 INT: +3 HP, +2 AC, +1 MP regen, +3 MMP

While reading the info on the data stick Hezetor overhears Marron and Chloe being scared of the Butterfly and he barely contains his smile, except when Chloe hides behind the Operative, he seems to lose interest after that and return to the data with disgust.

Regardless, after analysing what he saw in the data stick, Hezetor lets out a sigh.

"Quite deluding. Let's see the entropy info."

Oh, he may be sitting on a throne and reading data on text, but he notices the feminine figure and casts a long distance spell to check on her, what he sees is on a tridimensional image sphere next to his throne.

No update today, due to EOTE 8. However, maybe a FREE item (that's worth one gold) will make up for it?
Item Purchased: Camera Drone Report. Read it over, if you want.

Oppy nods. He's well aware of the troubles that lie ahead. The breakthrough. Making it so that the people who want to leave would be able to leave... it suddenly occurs to him that some people might end up parting ways after all this adventure is over. That's kinda disappointing, but at the same time, all things end eventually, maybe. He decides not to think of that yet. Goodbyes can wait until absolutely necessary.

"I don't blame you for being scared. Given what we're about to fight, it's only natural. Chaos probably won't be thrilled with the idea of letting anyone out, Zetta's proven in the past to be a formidable opponent already, and the Chaos Butterfly... well. The less said about that winged pile of bad times, the better. I think I remember us having a solution, though..."

He pauses for a moment. Slowly, he decides to hug Chloe tightly.

"...I'll be fine if I die. It never sticks. Since you're somewhat more vulnerable in that regard... well. I don't care if I have to fight all three of them at once, I'll make sure you live."

There's a pause. He glances over in the direction of North, the final boss area in the game. Don't question how he's doing that in zone 1.

"Although honestly it's probably in Chaos's best interests to make sure you don't die too."

He then turns his attention back to Chloe, holding her tightly and not wanting to let go. His body seems to be sparking faintly as electrical currents run through the wiring, thankfully nowhere near enough to be painful. Maybe a light tingling at best... honestly, one would probably be more akin to associate it with the hum of power armor more than the shocking of, say, an electric fence.

"...I'll stay with you as long as you want me to..."

+1 to SPC.

"...Is your special charged? There's... something I feel might be worth trying once it's time to fight."

--HOLEQUEST: DEEPER AND DARKER EDITION--
Mabuz realizes he is in a critical health state. 1 HP left. Things were looking dangerous for him in THE HOLE. But Mabuz always has an ace up his spacious sleeves. He would raise his eyebrows if he had any as he reached, well, up his right sleeve. Mabuz pulled out what appeared to be an orange octagonal badge with a yellow fist on it. My god, could it be?

It is a Mega Rush Badge, which greatly increases attack power when the wearer is at 1 HP. How he managed to smuggle it down here is anyone's guess, but what is important is that he has it. Mabuz decides to utterly wreck the Mythril Dweevil with a simple bone shards spell that is greatly boosted by the powers of Mega Rush! The badge quickly disintegrates afterwards for balancing purposes.

Toast is unconscious.
Future!Toast goes to Bill's Shrine.
There, she grabs the gold.

That's a haiku about my actions this turn.

<TURN TWO-HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN>
After this update, it'll be one turn until NORTH. Have fun with that!

First, a few more stat points are thrown around. These will be listed in the spoiler.

Stat Point Allocations
Soup: +2 STR
Battlefury: +6 MMP
Berg: +6 MHP
Operative: +1 SPC

Lyra then... sorta kinda flubs her crafting heavily. Oops. You'll need to put at least a bit of effort in, sorry. Or alternatively, toss 2 Gold towards Glitch Temmie. Tem will happily take your gold and turn it into the visor for you. Tem charges a premium on cheap plastic for whatever reason. DCCCV then tries talking with Nia...

aa: ...
aa: please
aa: put it d0wn
aa: i d0n't want t0
aa: delete y0u : (

She inches forward ever-so-slowly. It doesn't seem she really heard you. Darkside then goes and grabs a ton of Phase Matter (x121) from the Creature Testing Chamber, and dumps it into the inventory. He then hands her 10 units of Phase Matter.

ut: Oh. Thanks.
ut: Good to see that somebody's good at replacing things for other people.
ut: Now I can get started!

Mari snatches away the USB from Hezetor for a second, and plugs it into her armband. After a few moments, her Drone begins to pull random things from the inventory, and begins to artfully wield together... something. She then tosses the stick back at Hezetor. The drone grabs 10 Iron, 10 Titanium, and 10 Durasteel. It then grabs that 10 Phase Matter that Mari took, along with 25 Wire Bits, 3 Hardened Glass, 6 Circuit Boards... and the Teleporter Unit found in the Shipping Caverns. The drone plops the unit down near Mari.

ut: Oooh! Score!
ut: I should be able to cannibalize this for the other components...

After tinkering with the teleporter for a few minutes, she manages to salvage 50 spare Wire Bits from it. She then pulls out all of the key teleportation components, turning it into a personal teleporter of sorts. She then kicks back as her drone does all of the heavy lifting for her, only pausing it for a few moments to insert components and fix whatever errors the drone might make. JOE then tosses together his Wand of the Skies, 1 Wooden Plank, 1 Cobblestone, 17 Iron, a Bottled Bottled Water, a Spellsack (for 3 Gold), 30 Marble (for 1 Gold), 20 Cinder Logs, 25 Glitch Gel, 5 Gold Ingots, 5 Durasteel Ingots, 3 Diamonds, and 70 Chunks of Abyssal Ornstein. This creates the Glyph Bag! It's received some modifications... but I think you'll find they make the weapon more fun!

Emerald then uses Insanity's Topper, a Mirror Charm, 5 Iti Fragments, the Gaoler's Honey, 23 Anti-Wire Bits, 2 Titanium Ingots, 5 Durasteel Ingots, 653 Dog Residue, and 8 Hollowed Logs. The residue opts to enact the "ENDGAME MERCY ACT" and doesn't eat Emerald alive. These items are combined into the Dreamer Suit! Hezetor then views the data on Entropy on Mari's USB.

Entropy
en-tro-py "lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder."

Entropy can be simply defined as "disorder" or "randomness" for our purposes. Perhaps one of the strongest parts of Entropy is it's unpredictability; while a program free of it might act the same way every time, allowing one to eventually figure out and exploit the program, a healty dosage of entropic energy can allow the program to change. What might work one time may never work again. A new defense, a new means of attack; entropy can create these sorts of things.

Entropy is... truly impossible to understand and pin down. Only a few things are certain.

1. Entropy is both a means of creation, and a means of destruction.
If the "Chaos Butterfly" as it calls itself has proven anything, it's this. Being part of the basis of Ire, I believe that entropy is a large part of every attempt's varying personalities. From the star-crossed "lovers" that were 4 and 5, to the glitchy mess that was attempt 7, and the near-success of 14; entropy is likely the determining factor in how each of them act.

2. One source of entropic interference alone is unpredictable. Two is even more so.
Imagine having one random number generator that can produce any number. Infinity possible configurations. What happens if you have two random number generators? Then you have infinity combinations to the power of infinity. Following the tests with 12 and 13, it has been confirmed that having two sources of entropic interference causes even more rapid and radical changes. If three sources were to merge at once, I shudder to think of what would happen.

Now, the single biggest known source of entropy that I know of is Attempt 14, who has gone completely rogue. For further research into the subject, I'd need to study him further. But there's no time for that. He needs to be destroyed.

Nia; she's told me how to do it. I don't know how. Is it the entropy that's given her these ideas? Everything she's said, everything she's theorized; it works. Her theory on how to build a portal device that can access different worlds. How to improve and hone my own weaponry. It's like the entropy itself wants me to hunt down and kill Attempt 14 itself.

Entropy is truly fascinating. Perhaps once I finish my hunt- or maybe even during it, I can go and jot down more accurate findings. Nothing like a field test to determine how things work.

-Xavier Elem

The log ends abruptly.

ut: ...I pirate my notes from myself. Real me. Don't judge.
ut: Anyway, I wonder what actual me is planning? He's probably doing lots of prepwork if he plans to actually freaking kill WARE by himself.
ut: What a casual, though; he's only discovered portal tech now? Then again, if Nia's really that good at theorizing working prototypes, he's probably out-geared me by now...

Hezetor then tries to get a good look at the feminine figure. What follows is a jump-scare that'd jolt anyone weak-of-heart; instead of any sort of usable image, the <0> of the Chaos Butterfly makes up the entire image, staring directly into Hezetor's soul. JOE is then promptly ignored by the Core, and smote by those really annoying 20-damage energy balls. Ouch. How annoying; he'll need to somehow evade the Core and mine the ore... Future!Toast then heads off to Bill's Shrine, and loots the gold via usage of a shovel. This grants 6 Gold... and 52 Gold Ingots.

Roxxanne then lifts and carries Toast to the MW Anti. Marron objects for a moment, then shuts up once she realizes that Roxxanne isn't trying to kill Toast. She and her sister follow her along to Zone 4 (while also yelling for Auth to come along if he wants snacks), and they help Roxxanne carry her into the MW Anti. They then sets her down on the couch that's in the cargo hold.

tc: ...Thanks, Roxxy. I... appreciate this.
tc: A-Anyway. Mind watching over Toast for a sec. I'd like to prepare her a nice treat for when she wakes up. So, pardon me and sis...

Marron searches the MW Anti for some sort of a kitchen... and to her dismay, there's only the broken remnants of a toaster that got corrupted by dogs. So she heads home for a brief moment, returning with a tray of cookies in hand. She plops them down next to the couch, then sits next to Toast's head, where's there's enough space on the couch for her to rest. A cookie is then placed upon Toast's head in an attempt to revive her with the scent of baked goods. Marron then reluctantly holds out one cookie, offering it to Roxxanne.

tc: Roxxy. You may help yourself to exactly one, and I MEAN only this one cookie.
tc: Consider it payment for watching out for her, alright? Nothing more.

Elsewhere, the Operative embraces Chloe... lightly jolting her with his body.

ga: D-Don't zap me. Even lightly. It feels weird. And not a good kind of weird, either...
ga: But... thanks for being here.
ga: Hopefully you can keep me safe. Not that I really have doubts, but...
ga: A-Actually, I guess Chaos will be helping you, too. So we have that going for us.

He asks if her special's charged.

ga: Hm? Yeah, it is.
ga: Do you have plans for it? If so... we might wanna discuss them now. During this calm before the storm.
ga: Maybe I could touch up my armor...

With Mari no longer yelling about stuff and things, Chloe is content to remain there with the Operative. The wind then begins to pick up, howling as it rustles through the leaves of the trees. A storm of pink leaves flutters by, only to be sucked up by the gravitational abyss as it leaves the grip of the island.

<HOLEQUEST>
Darkside encases the poor innocent Treasure Chest in dry ice, and then shatters it with the Mythril Dweevil for (7) damage. This also hits the Dweevil for (1). The chest then stops being a chest and instead reveals that it was in fact, the mimic. How annoying. Emerald then stabs the Mythril Dweevil with some tomatoes. The tomato pierces right though its body, a spray of blood following it. It then dramatically flips over, the chunk of Mythril that once adorned its head being sent crashing to the floor. Its four legs then curl in, making its corpse resemble that of a dead spider. 1 Mythril looted from the body! All that's left to do is finish off the other foes in the area! Mabuz then attacks the Gold Dweevil, given that the Mythril one kicked it. The power of Mega Rush allows him to deal (10) damage to the Gold Dweevil!

The Gold Dweevil decides to bash Emerald for (6) damage as revenge for the death of the Mythril Dweevil! The Mimic, having just re-awoken, spends its turn idling.

"Well... That was rather dark. Not quite the mood I would have wanted to be in immediately prior to facing it." Roxxanne says, very engrossed by the footage report that was received, as out-of-sight from Marron as humanely possible. "Better consider investigating all of that... Aaah, I wouldn't have time." Roxxanne adds, rather dejected.

"...Uh, what's with Toast?" Roxxanne says, looking up at her and noticing her for the first time since she collapsed. It appears that her own devices left her very, very preoccupied. "Oh cripes that doesn't look good, aaahhh!"

Roxxanne rushes upon Toast's unconscious body and checks her pulse in a sudden cold sweat. Her dialogue at this point is both unusually foregin and, you suspect, very profanity-laced, making it nigh-incomprehensible-but the assurance she is still alive stems the tide of that. "...Oh, good grief, since, since when... Augh, I'm such a failure! Why didn't I notice this?!" Roxxanne starts spewing more profanities mostly aimed at her own inadequacy in failing to catch this, among other slights real or otherwise, before composing herself again and then, as if absolutely none of it had happened, stares at it very thoroughly, as if trying to detect some inperceptible impurity within Toast. When she sighs again, she just kind of picks up Toast in her arms like she was carrying a very large baby. "If nothing else she shouldn't be laying out here in the open..."

Roxxanne moves Toast to the MW Antidisestablishmentarianism post-haste, barring any preventive measures by anyone.
