<TURN TWO-HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT>
JOE begins by being sassy, and not using his mouth. He begins to dance an interpretative dance, using some purple sparkles and stuff that look like butterfly wings. JOE then snarls. He's then cut in two. cc: (t)y for warning cc: being ©orrup(t)ed by ware is bad cc: glad i ©ould free you from his ©urse There's a snicker from the saber. Toast flies to D7 and uses Shifting Sands on the Deleted. She shotwands the Glitched and retreats to H11.
~~ Alt shouts over the storm. OKAY GUYS I THINK WE SHOULD DO SOMETHING REALLY SPECTACULAR SINCE I DON'T KNOW IF WE'LL HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO IN THE NEAR FUTURE, BUT WHO KNOWS. PLUS THE WHOLE GANG IS HERE. YES, YOU ARE NOW PART OF THE GANG. IF I WASN'T SPEAKING WITH CAPITAL LETTERS, THE GANG WOULD BE A PROPER NOUN. THAT WAS A SLIGHT TANGENT, BUT I STILL THINK THAT WE SHOULD OVERKILL THIS PIG-FISH-DRAGON AS MUCH AS WE CAN. Alt steps to I9, then uses Final Song on whoever it would be most spectacular on. I had flavor text for this, but I can't seem to find it. She'll hum some spectacular song though. Originally posted on 2017-05-04 05:23:00 |

Actions that need to be in an order should be in the order presented, and only in this order! Anything that isn't numbered in this list comes after all other actions, including my own.
@Everyone: Don't stand in the cardinal directions of the center tile (J10). Otherwise you will be nuked. 1 @JOE: OK, so, you see that Grue? Run to G12 so it can't instantly destroy you. Or wherever you are safe as long as the Grue won't shoot the Broken. 2 @Toast: You must move first! You must Shifting Sands the Deleted off of a cliff, then shoot the Glitched. 3 @Emerald: After Toast! Nuke G7 with an Ornament Blast, where the Heartless may be. This should give you stuff and make the Glitched TP again. 4 @Chlorin: Move to G11 and attack the Heartless after Emerald. As Emerald nuked one of the Heartless'es positions, this means that it's revealed, so I think Ire will be leniant here. I will Mind Control Emerald to do this. 5 @Lyra: Move to F11 and Primecone South to hit the maybe-Forsaken and the Glitched. That's it for the numbered stuff. @Jondanger: Move to I9! Use Turn()! What the Broken did to you should also mean that your MP Costs are reversed, so you have full MP. If this isn't the case... Uh, attack yourself. @Auth: Turn the turret on Jondanger! Get rid of his Divine Shield! He's broken-if he spends one more turn with max HP he'll die. We need to reduce it, ASAP. Using ship weapons are free actions (I think), so if you can afterwards, double-Irrigo him. I think that the magical Friend-or-Foe should be reversed so the double-bolt will harm him successfully (and tick off some of the Broken turns). In case that isn't a free action, or Auth can't use it on Jon for whatever reason and must directly attack instead, Roxxanne will move to G9 and punch Jondanger twice to pseudo-heal him instead. If I'm right on how things work, however, Roxxanne will instead move to E11 (which Lyra should have vacated) to reapply both another Splash Enchant: Light and her Counter. The Temmie Hero will Herobow the Heartless if its real position is G7 and not F14; otherwise, it will not. It will move to F9 after this, and use Spinning Flakes. It will then move to E9. The Scale Serpent will definitely move after Roxxanne, if only because the Enchant Light should hit it if Roxxanne does apply it. Regardless, it will slither to either F8 or E12 and attack the Heartless, depending on where the real one is. If you weren't mentioned, wail on the Glitched or the Heartless, but not until Lyra has acted! If going for the latter, especially try to make sure that you can reach both positions and attack accordingly. Originally posted on 2017-05-04 05:42:00 |

I consider running as asked, but then I look at my MP.
and at the grues attack. and at how portal works. and at its modifiers. I also look at the grues location and see a wall between me and it, so I run to F9 and cast portal. is it intentional that it's attack is pretty much exactly what i can portal at full HP? meanwhile, my clone screams at the C.saber that it was an interpretive dance! and then calmly explains that the intention was to tell you that wares over there and we need help fighting his goons so he'll die and hopefully not kill us all. EDIT: I can't even Reach 12 G. i don't have enough MOV. however, I can reach 14 F i think. however again, that puts me in the path of the railgun. I'm also not feeling very inclined to listen to tazz. I do, however, thank toast for telling me. hm... If the railgun acts after the grue or not at all, then I go to 14 F and use portal. otherwise, If 12 E won't heal the broken or get the shot blocked, I got there and use portal. otherwise again, If 13 E isn't abyss or anything (like, what does that shade mean) and I can go there, then I do and cast portal. otherwise the penultimate time, I do whatever people say/ask with the knowledge that I have 4 MOV and 1 retreat. If there are no suggestions that take this into account, I go to 12 F , attack... the deleted i guess, and use my retreat to go to 12 G, which apparently can't/won't end up being absorbed by the broken? I nod to Tazz and Ornamental Blast G7. Don't think I have to move to do that, so yay.
~~~~ Duke Fishron Battle: I hit Duke Fishron I also throw my 2 points into INT (CRAFTING IN PROGRESS) I take all 20 Fake Mythril bars, 15 of the Runic Alloy, 10 celestial essence, and 2 adamantite bars. This should be an interesting crafting. First, I start out with what is likely the most important step, which is to create the wings of my armor. I take the Runic Alloy, and, taking the Celestial Essences, begin working on infusing the very essence of flying creatures into the Alloy. Surprisingly, it isn't that difficult. Probably because of the fact that Runic Alloy is magic in general, and you can fuse essences with metal easily in Terraria anyways. So now that that's done, easier than I expected, I begin working with the 20 fake Mythril bars, creating armor and leggings, grey and kind of shiny. Also rather easy, but that's because of the power of RPG blacksmithing, where you can just take enough of any random thing and form it into whatever the [REDACTED] you want.I leave two slits on the back of the chest plate, which will be needed for the next step of the process. I take 14 Runic Alloy, infused with Celestial Essence, and begin flattening it, and shaping it, forming two separate wings, symmetrical when laid side by side. I take the Adamantite, and melt it down, covering the wings in it, creating a sort of protective shell, and giving it an overall reddish hue to the wings. Then I insert the wings into the armor, melt down the last bar of Runic Alloy, and carefully pour it around the slits, waiting for it to harden and fuse the wings to the armor. Criemi'kie: A scarlet red pair of wings, magically fused with the essence of flying beings, and a set of fake Mythril armor. Simple enough. Grants Flight. +2 AGI, +2 INT, -2 MHP, -5% crit chance. If it needs nerfing, remove from right to left 50% Dark resistance, -25% Electric resistance Originally posted on 2017-05-04 21:16:00 |
@JOE, Although that is a good idea, the way the Broken is situated makes it incredibly difficult to angle the shot without hitting it. Hitting the Broken is bad, since it effectively acts as a 40 HP heal. G12 is the most convenient tile that I can see which fills the following criteria:
- Grue shot doesn't hit the Broken. - Grue shot doesn't hit allies. - Isn't in a cardinal direction of the central tile. - Relatively safe in general Originally posted on 2017-05-04 21:24:00 |
<TURN TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY-NINE>
To begin, JOE tells the Saber that it was an interpretive dance. cc: i was aware cc: i in(t)erpre(t)ed i(t) as me needing to kill you cc: just like (t)his! The saber proceeds to kill JOE again, for giggles. Meanwhile, Emerald gets confused and tries to toss his two points into INT, but there's not enough Skillpoints left to level it up! He then combines 20 Fake Mythril, 15 Runic Alloy, 10 Celestial Essence, and 2 Adamanite Bars to create the Criemi'kie! It seems to have -5 MHP and only +1 INT on it, but it provides reallygood stats and flight so that shouldn't be an issue. Meanwhile, Siria returns to the game! Yaaaay! <BATTLE: FISH FRY, TURN SIX> Duke Fishron is slain! It's corpse, mere chunks of bacon and fish within the inventory, have been reaped as spoils of war. There's also the new weapon, the Tsunami, as well as the spell Razorblade Typhoon, and the trinket, the Fishron Wings. Anyway, with the battle said and done, everyone takes a moment to rest. Marron plops her butt down on a bench, Mari sets her backpack aside and props her head on a bench, and Chloe takes a seat near the fire that went out during the storm. She invites the Operative over. ga: Hey, Op... ga: As much as I'd love to make a moment to rest and be with you, I think you have a place to be! She somehow gestures towards the Portal to Zone 5, which is incredibly far away from her current position. ga: The others almost certainly need you, and well, I think we'll be fine here on our own. [small][small]ga: Maybe I could pitch a tent, and Marron, Mari and I could pretend we're camping out. That'd be fun~[/small][/small] ga: Before you go though, I'd like the chance to fix you up. Just a little. I can work a wrench and stuff- I repaired a freaking airship, so... ga: O-Of course, I'd only do it if you're fine with it. Maybe you'd consider that too nosy or private or something... ga: But I'll be here! At the same time, Marron converses with Alt... once she's lit a bonfire on her ashes to revive her. tc: Hey, welcome back! tc: Anything else we should do? I'm totally fine with just spending a few moments with Ette and gearing up for when we head North, but if there's something you wanna do, I'm all ears. Mari, instead of attempting a conversation, just moans, and shuts her eyes. Carrying around a temmie will do that to you. <BATTLE: ...TURN FIVE!?> ...A pulse reverberates throughout the field. A heartbeat. A sign of demise. A low moan fills the air as several, veinlike arms rise from that pit in the center of the field and grope the platforms around them, their fingers easily cracking them. These cracks soon blossom across the platform, splurging with light as space itself seems to warp. Space then strains itself, before cracking into fragments with the most god-awful noise anyone's ever heard. A mass of veins tugs upward, revealing a grotesque heart with a masked face. What appears to be a massive monitor of sorts has been pierced by two arms, each dripping with- you know what. why describe the thing. when I can just. It screams. ![]() [big]You are accosted by the Telltale Heart.[/big] [small][small]Special thanks to Twin for drawing this eldritch horror. Go PM him saying "thanks for the nightmares, twin" or something.[/small][/small] Anyway, this thing's absolutely massive, and packs an array of deadly attacks. While you can try and reduce the frequency of the deadliest of the attacks, there's no way to completely avoid them. You'll need to be careful, and weigh your options. And also be careful with the veins. Either destroy them in one fell swoop, or don't attack them at all. Originally posted on 2017-05-06 03:45:00 -------------------- |
I spend my turn switching Pushdown for Shifting Sands, changing the Muton Armor for Criemi'kie, and changing the Knight's Helmet to the Somewhat Large Sugegasa. Then I change my Trinket out to the Frostspark Boots. And then, since I have double action, I tell the Zombie Elf to move to F6, then I wait for Auth to move, move to H5, and then fire off another Ornamental Blast at that Vein. Could have sworn I got a crit on that thing a couple turns ago though
Oh, and I put my 3 Skill Points in INT now. THERE. YOU HAPPY? I PUT THREE IN. I change my Special's Name to Murder Assistance, and give it some mods, which I'll probably never use (+1 damage every 3 STR)(+1 duration every 3 INT)(+1 Range every 4 AGI) Originally posted on 2017-05-06 11:15:00 |
A speaker on JOEbob's person, hithero unknown to him, suddenly crackles to life as a familiar voice emits from it. "Ohmygosh, Chaos! Uh, if you can hear me, I've got really good news! If you can help us deal with the Shattered, you could get like tons of new arms added to your arm collection!" Roxxanne says. "Like, at least eight, if things go well and the corpse isn't unretrievable or something!"
Roxxanne in the battle is no less disturbingly cheerful to her kind-of-enemies. "Oh, heya! Remember me? I'm Roxxanne, the person you were fightin' earlier! Uh, so sorry for killing you and all that, and also that I'm not as cute and nice and purple as I was before, but hey, uh, if you can just not fight us, that would be awesome. We're gonna murder it! THAT thingy! The wing thingy! Mr. Red Face That Isn't Chaos! Greater Than, Zero, Lesser Than! It hurts you even more than Xavier! Oh, also, we totally killed him. Xavier, I mean. He is a dead, rip, there is no more Xavier Elem in existenceierier here, no siree! If you think otherwise your sensories are a LAIYAIN TO YOU!" Roxxanne technically isn't lying, as she has nearly zero intention of getting Lyra to fix Mari back into her original form, so Xavier for all due intents and purposes no longer really exists. @ConsumerOfAll: You won't live past the first cast, so don't Turn(). Just use A Bad Idea straightaway, and we'll see if you retain it upon reviving you. THAT bad idea. Everyone else-stand clear! For good measure, stand clear of her cardinals, diagonals, Range 1 and the direct line between her and the nearest Vein/the Heart. @Crystal: I'll be honest, I'd switch Siria over to Assault form. The level of range the Sniper Form has is currently not really that useful compared to the extra damage, especially not with that many foes in your face. Speaking of those, I'd shoot them. The Rail Turret and Dirtbag 7 once each, to be precise. Roxxanne can take care of the Turret with the damage you've just dealt. @Toast, Chlroin, HealerbotX: Kill the bottom vein! @Battlefury: Emerald: Kill the top vein! @Auth: You were mentioned here, but certain tactical adjustments were made and we realized that we needed 2 more damage due to AC that should be applied. So, uh, just buff peeps with something. Roxxanne will attack the hand she's immediately adjacent to as that's really easy. She will then move to G16, punch the Rail Turret once, and then retreat to immediately adjacent to the hand. My hope is that I'm targeted and dodge (3/4th odds are pretty good), countering it and killing it, should no-one be able to go out of their way to attack it. The Temmie Hero will finally put that MP pool to use by Tembowing the I5 hand, then Flakespin at G8 before moving to H6, which should remove both Hands from the equation on the left side. @Everyone: We are going to kill veins in PAIRS, and only PAIRS. Anything less is just wasteful. Veins cannot dodge so we must simply guarantee that our lowest-damage attacks will always deal the required 30 damage. We must also keep out of their cardinals and diagonals at all. I'll keep vein status up to date, but in particular, the 15 and 7 rows and twice so the C column is a deathzone. Do not allow yourselves to be caught there! Don't get caught in the G column or 13/17 rows after this turn, either. And keep an eye on the diagonals of the living veins, too; don't stand on those. I will MC you to kill veins, or request edits to unkill veins, if more than one person isn't responding. People should split into groups dedicated to keeping enemies, hands and the other WARES in check and those who will deal with the veins. Only be the latter if you can actually consistently reach the Veins. Consider the former more heavily if you have methods of multiattack in particular, as that means less people who have to focus on the hands per round. Originally posted on 2017-05-08 07:43:00 |
