Roxxanne seemed to chafe at the mention of her age being 'like a thousand or something.' Her brow furrowed, she looked ever so slightly angry at the question... And then, in a low, timid voice, she squeaked out a response.

"...I'm only two..."

Temmie Roxxanne's face. So red. So adorable.

----+----

I have no nerf ideas. Hooray! Now to just wonder what to make with the Mythril and everything else...

With the battle concluded, Operative sighs, shaking slightly from the rush that he'd just been through. Then, he heads on over to Chloe, sitting down beside her and watching with a look of mild concern.

"You okay? The Doomed status effect doesn't sound good for one's health or well-being..."

He also swaps to using the Farenheit Amulet, +1's his INT, then swaps Shock Bolt out for Pulse Grenade and picks up a reskin of Frost Armor called "Static Shield" as a third spell. To put it simply, replace the slowing effect with a stun chance counter, replace bonus ice resistance at a certain INT threshold with lightning resistance.

Also, he changes his special so that it now charges x4 off of Chloe taking damage from any source, instead of him taking lightning damage.
Curiosity compels him to briefly wonder about how much of a damage nuke he'd get if he took all the power generated by UNLIMITED and focused it into a single smash against one target instead... There's a lot of "wasted" energy in that special of his.

DarkSide, upon coming out of the portal, begins walking... back to the M.W.Anti?
"I have this really weird feeling that our VIP NPCs are going to be attacked as soon as you guys go through the portal to Zone 5. So I'm staying behind in case they are attacked. Especially the morality cores, which are especially vulnerable."
He continues to walk. "You all understand, I'm sure. Good luck in there. I mean, unless some of you want to help me fight whatever the Master Bait will summon, if anything."
He walks all the way to the ship, and takes the teleporter to Zone 1, where his clone spontaneously dissolves as it is replaced by the real deal.
---
DarkSide takes one of the hotline fishing hooks, as it would be the only thing strong enough to even pull up what he thinks he'll be pulling up. He carefully attaches the Master Bait to the hook. "Mari, I would stay back if I were you. This is gonna be a humongous haul, I can already tell," he says as the fish start jumping from the lake, trying to take the bait but ultimately failing.

DarkSide masterfully casts the line out to the middle of the lake, the line quickly being pulled down as if something massive got caught on the hook. DarkSide hauls the line up with all his might... and, oddly, a spark of dark purple and black flame comes off his head... what WAS that? Nevertheless, it seems to have boosted his AGI by 1.
---
Ohboy, more G.O.D nerfs/reworks. There's a few options this time:
ALL: Remove the suicide move.
1: Return the maximum and minimum self damage to that of the Web (33%), but bring back the stat buff as 6MP. Or something along those lines.
2: Something else related to MP idunno

<TURN TWO-HUNDRED AND THIRTY-TWO>
A text-only dop? Haven't seen one of those in a bit. Anyway, shall we begin...?

Battlefury begins by emitting a victory screech. The screech does nothing but make Chloe flinch, and hurt the ears of others around him. But hey. SATISFACTION. Toast then heads over to Marron's house, and assures Marron that she's okay. The puppeteer breathes a sigh of relief as she sits Toast down on her bed.

tc: Great! Anyway, I'll get you something to drink...

Marron pours a cup of Temmie Tea for Toast, and then pulls out a fresh Cinnamon Roll from the oven. Frosting drips down its golden-brown surface, and it looks absolutely delicious. It's also about as big as a banana in terms of diameter. She slides the roll onto a plate, then hands Toast the two foodstuffs.

tc: Here you go, Toaster!
tc: While I'd normally pressure you to try it, I know one of you will use it for healing, so... no pressure.
tc: You could probably try at least one bite, though. It'd be a shame if you didn't try at least a nibble...
tc: I rarely ever seem to make these; they're just a lot of work, and really, I personally find cookies to be a bit better. But hey, maybe you like rolls.

x1 Cinnamon Roll obtained! x1 Temmie Tea obtained! Marron then pours herself a cup and downs it rather quickly. Once the cup is drained, she sits down on her bed, right next to Toast, and pitches a question to her friend.

tc: H-Hey Toast...
tc: Would you... mind terribly if I-I...
tc: ...stuck with you once we left the Mindscape?
tc: I really don't have anywhere to go once all is said and done, and well...
tc: I think spending even more time with you would be awesome!
tc: So, what do you say?

Marron waits expectantly for her response. In the mean time, she tosses a point into STR. JOE then has a brief misunderstanding about Dodge, and tosses his points into AGI to get that 20% Dodge. He also moves to the Furniture Graveyard in Zone 3 in an attempt to get the Mythril Ore. He reaches his arm into the digging pit, but finds that his arm can't actually reach through the solid mass of wood (or uh, splinters) between him and the ore vein. Emerald then realizes that he's actually alive. That's slightly awkward. Teag then tosses his points into HP and MP, while Jon tosses his into SPC. HealerX joins this points party, and lobs his into HP. Temmie Roxxanne then discloses that she's actually two to Mari, then turns a bright red.

ut: ...
ut: You, the cruel gorilla who commanded a raid on my house, are two years old.
ut: That's... uh.
ut: ...
ut: I still really don't feel that much remorse for you, honestly.

Mari just sorta stands next to Temmie Roxxanne, who's currently still flopping about near the fire. She's' not charmed by Roxxanne's cuteness. The Operative then sits down next to Chloe, and asks if she's okay. She weakly nods.

ga: I-I'll be fine, don't worry.
ga: That status made me feel like I could drop dead at any moment; my vision was blurring,
my limbs were shaking, I had this killed headache...
ga: I really wish we cured it a little sooner, but that's greedy of me.
ga: Y-You okay? I hope so, at least...

She sighs, then motions for Ette to help lift her up, which she does. Once she's back on two feet, she plants a small smooch upon the Operative's cheek.

ga: Thanks for protecting me.
ga: It was kinda fun being alongside you back there, despite the pain.

She stands idle as the Operative re-equips the Farenheit Amulet.

ga: Oh, hey!
ga: Want me to try my hand at upgrading the Amulet again? While it'd almost certainly take me a chunk of Mythril to do it, I could probably combine it with the Leo Ring to give you some absolutely absurd counterattack power! How about it?
ga: If you have other ideas on what I could do with it, I'm willing to listen, by the way.

She waits for a response, while Ette stands at her side just in case she needs any more assistance. The Operative also equips Pulse Grenade (with Chloe selecting Flashbang as his second grenade type to cover his bases), and Static Shield. He even changes his special to accommodate Chloe getting injured. Chloe giggles at the gesture, and also adds a fill requirement to her special, weakening one of her other requirements so that she can add it.

ga: We can keep each other safe!
[small][small]ga: Wait, you just switched off counter. Uh, well... I could make the amulet provide passive counters? Don't feel pressured to switch back though, okay?[/small][/small]

The Operative then thinks that he could easily slap 100 damage onto something if he decided to make his Special deal raw damage. Darkside then goes fishing at Zone 1, using the Master Bait. While Mari seems to understand exactly what he's fishing with, he stands next to Darkside as he casts his line out. He then pulls on the line, and lands... a strange, mushroom-lined crate, gaining +1 AGI in the process.

ut: What, did you think something terrifying would appear?
ut: There's absolutely nothing to fear while fishing. You're only really in danger if you use a Truffle Worm. Which I figure, is probably in this crate.

Mari breaks open the crate, and finds a Truffle Worm.

ut: Surprise! But not really.
ut: Oh, this was also in there...

Mari pulls out 20 Adamantite bars, 20 Fake Mythril Bars, and 20 Cobalt from the wreckage of the crate.

ut: Anyway, shall we go "fishing"...?
ut: As long as I stay in the back, I feel I could go into combat again.
ut: Maybe we could even use the siege machines.

Meanwhile, a swarm of Nerfbats, Buffbats, and Argubablybothgoodandbadoriguessneutralbats descend down upon the party, altering a bunch of equipment!

Changelog
BUFFS:
-Radiance now restores 20% of the player's MHP upon revival.
NERFS:
-The Ember now grants 20% bonus MHP. No longer faithful to Dark Souls, but meh.
-Augment can only provide a max total damage boost of +20 from the crit / minicrit, with +2 Cap being added per SPC.
NEUTRAL:
-Toby Fox's Reality Manipulating Stick changed its Resistance Pierce for +1 Spell Damage and an extra +3 MMP.
-The G.O.D. has lost the suicide move, and has been granted 6 MMP as compensation.
-The Inkscalibur has had it's base cone damage nerfed by 1 and may only apply buffs at Range 1 with the cone, but Inkbolt now has +1 Damage and can apply 2 buffs at once.

Anyway, with all that said and done, why not go and explore Zone 5? You could probably go South now, if your name isn't JOE. You might also want to fight Duke Fishron for additional loot. (okay I kid you can go South now, JOE) I'm also still accepting item buff / debuff suggestions, so go ahead and toss those my way.

As DarkSide pulls up the crate, there's only this really annoyed face of 'why did I expect anything more. I'm from Terraria, I should know this gorilla by now'. He walks over to a tree near the edge of the area, and smashes his head on the tree a few times in self-disgust. He then walks back. "Bleh... Despite being from the thing's origin game, I seriously thought, due to mindscape gorillaery, that it would result in something different... eh, whatever."

Then, the Truffle Worm. "Oh, Duke Fishron? That thing's a piece of cake in normal mode. Beat 'im many times. I just hope this isn't the Expert Mode version..."

DarkSide places the Truffle Worm on the hook in preparation, then waits for 2 more people to come over before casting the line out. He also drops his AGI and STR down by 2, and his INT up by 4, giving him a new spellslot. In this spellslot? Turn().

"Let's do this."

The siege machines teleport in out of nowhere, both of the siege bows loaded up with Adamantite Ingots.

Alt decides to use DTG logic, and states the age-old saying, 'moss tends to be found on the north side of stuff'. Yes. You are sure that's how it goes. She takes a compass out of her pocket. Since the islands of the mindscape have an incredibly strong gravitational force, the pointer on the compass will naturally be drawn in that direction. Alt then points out that north is downwards. The moss on the hornets is pulled downwards, and due to the sheer quantity of moss being attracted north, they are pulled through the earth

Alt then casually slides next Darkside and Mari in the clearing, likely covered in moss. Or not. Who knows.
Let's go, heck yeah!

~~

Toast replies to Marron.

Of course!

She pauses, then revises what she said.

...by which I mean I wouldn't mind. I wasn't saying 'of course I mind' or something like that or...

She trails off, and brings her head back to the present.

Anyway, that sounds pretty awesome. Admittedly, I'm not really sure what I'll be doing after all this. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to track down my home planet again, there are a TON of things to do there, and I haven't even scratched the surface. Otherwise there's an entire universe out there to explore.

Afterwards, she pauses to take a few small bites from the Cinnamon Roll. She resumes speaking before she's actually finished with the bite she's taken.

Mmmhm... Ish good.

Once she's finished with that bite, Toast continues, shrugging, but smiling.

I really don't know what I'll do.

Upon hearing of this, Roxxanne gleamed in pride. "I am a master tactical person, colon three."

Temmie Roxxannes' face twisted into something akin to frustration upon seeing that truffle worm... And she looks towards the sky, probably to complain to the GM.

"Ireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, stop delaying the gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame! We are awesome and everyone knows it, but we have so much stuff to do that I wanna actually do the thing we set out to doooooooooooooooooooo, colon u!"

Roxxanne votes to immediately head to Zone 5 and get this fight over with.

"...Huggle."

Temmie Roxxanne attempts to hug Mari.

----+----

Meanwhile, Roxxanne jumps up into the sky an incredibly unrealistic distance even for AGI 12, only to come down upon Lyra, arms oustretched. "Glompstriiiiiiiiiike! Hug ambush! Colon threeeeeeeeeeeee-"

Roxxanne misses and hits the ground behind Lyra. "-owieowowowowow. Ow. OK, no more Jump Boosts that only last a second."

Auth is incredibly bored. He suddenly lacks someone to talk to.

http://b3.ifrm.com/static/emo/4.png

So Auth casually walks around. He quickly notices Roxxanne flying into the air. Like, super high...

A concerning amount of high. Auth dashes towards Lyra and Roxxanne, but he doesn't make it in time, watching Roxxanne slam into the ground. Hard.

Roxxanne! Are you okay!?

Auth kneels down, and offers Roxxanne his hand to help her get up. Auth offers a cloth to Roxxanne so she can clean up after she gets up.

Careful, Roxxanne. It won't do us much good if you hurt yourself really badly like that.

Auth smiles reassuringly, before waiting for everyone to get to Zone Five. He has zero reason to talk to any of the NPCs. If they want to talk, they need to start it.

Emerald takes the 20 fake Mythril bars, and tosses 1 point in HP and the rest in STR, then equips the Christmas Tree Sword. It's better than his current axe, considering, you know, effects, and opens the Mystery Box from the patients, hoping for some Mythril, or a Mythril tier item. And then he, uh, stealthily takes Revan's Muton Armor and puts it on himself.
He resets his stats to the default, then throws 33 points into STR, and then throws the rest into AGI

"uh"

Lyra stares at the formation of cells that vaguely resembles a being called Roxxanne, considering she has just crumpled herself by horribly whiffing her goal of hugging Lyra.
Lyra, seeing an opportunity to be the kind of person she has become for whatever reason, places a star sticker next to her.

"Okay, uh... we're going to the place infested with JOE's corpses, right?"

Lyra shuffles along to the start of Zone 5.

Roxxanne mumbles for a bit, then her right arm, in cartoonish boneless glory, picks up herself by the head and rights her to her usual stance of floating a half-foot above the ground, because Roxxanne's shortness has to be compensated somehow. "I'm an OK! Falling damage is for wimps, and I am not a wimp, greater than colon three!"

Roxxanne proceeds to hug Auth around the waist. She's surprisingly low-weight. Or not. Stupid (or not so stupid) Trickster shenanigans.

"Onwards! Let's do mindscape surgery science rocket thingy on WARE and such! I think! Colon three!"

Operative glances up at the sky.

"Excuse me, the 12 INT bonus is an extra skillslot. I'd like my counter back."

He then turns to Chloe.

"I'm fine. Sorry about not being able to help as much as I would've liked."

He blushes a little when she kisses him, giggling a little and moving to return the gesture, then takes a look at the Farenheit Amulet. Then, he pulls out the Leo Ring and holds that up, looking rather contemplative. It seems he's had a thought or two.

"Hmm... Yeah, that could work... Got an idea for that combination in mind, dear?"

...Erm.

He pauses for a few seconds, thinking about just what kind of additional effects could be loaded onto a nuke-like special. Maybe one which increases the damage depending on how much health Chloe is missing, just to emphasize even more strongly that hurting her when he's nearby is a terrible idea... Who knows? He'll have to think on that one.

<UPDATING>
Darkside begins by bashing his head into a tree, slightly berating himself for thinking that the Duke would spawn. Mari gently laughs, fingers partially obscuring her mouth.

ut: Heh. Mindscape gorillary happens to all of us at some point, I think.
ut: It happens.

Darkside then casts out the Truffle Worm into the water. Of course, what that'll do will probably happen at the end up this update. Muhahahahaha. In the meantime, he alters his stats, granting himself Turn() as a result of it. Alt then does some stuff involving a compass, and directs the Moss Hornets down through the earth through logic or something like that. While the hornets fail to be pulled through the ground, they do end up crushing themselves... and die! They leave 1 gold behind for some reason. She then moves over to help Darkside at the clearing. Toast then replies to Marron, stating that yes; she may come along.

tc: Yessss! Thank you!

Marron promptly pulls Toast into a hug, soon releasing her as to keep letting her talk. She expresses gratitude at her enjoyment of the cinnamon roll. Toast then expresses that she doesn't really know what she'll do after she's done with the Mindscape.

tc: You and me both.
tc: Whatever it is... I'm sure it'll be fun!
tc: Hopefully Ette likes travel. I wouldn't really know.
tc: Last time we went travelling, we got locked in a glass containment chamber for god-knows-how long, and... well, you know.

Temmie Roxxanne then hugs Mari. She promptly retorts by kicking her in the face, sending her rolling away.

ut: For a self-proclaimed "master tactical person", you've surely picked an awful time to be lovey-dovey.
ut: Besides, isn't that Author guy already your boyfriend...?
ut: My my, aren't you a terrible little tem, cheating on him so...
[small][small]ut: Plus, I'm pretty sure the Duke Fishron battle is mainly for NPC's. Just so you know.[/small][/small]

Mari smirks at Roxxy, her tongue only just visible between her lips. Emerald then takes the 20 Fake Mythril Bars, and does nothing with them. Okay. He then heavily alters his stats, loots the clothes from an AFK player, and the puts that on as well. He also tries to open the Mystery Box, but it seems like it won't open unless he specifies what he wants to get. Welp. JOE meanwhile, at the Splinter Drift, tries to dig around the thorns splinters. But the splinters are everywhere. EVERYWHERE. His success is nonexistent. The Operative then glares at the sky. The sky is intimidated, and gives him back his Counter skill. He then asks Chloe what sort of combination she has in mind for the Fahrenheit Amulet upgrade.

ga: Hm...
ga: I'll probably end up using 10,000 souls, the Soul of Ornstein, probably a few bits of metal and logs of Cinder Wood, and of course, the amulet and a mythril bar.
ga: I have two... no, three directions I could take it, I believe. Hey, mind giving me your opinion...?

Potential Forms
VERSION 1:
ga: This version's more "normal". That's... really all I can say about it.
Fahrenheit Soulruby: Gain +3 DMG, +3 AC, and +25% Counter Damage below 50% HP. Also grants 50% Fire Resistance, along with a 25% bonus to Counter Damage. Passively grants Counterhappy0.

VERSION 2:
ga: This version drops the whole finale thing and replaces it with raw counter-based power. It's pretty awesome.
Phoenix Ring: Grants a 50% bonus to Counter Damage, and passively provides Counterhappy0. Also grants a +1 to Counter Range.

VERSION 3:
ga: I'm glad you want to protect me, and well, this version will help you carry out that wish~
ga: Don't feel pressured to pick it, though. The amulet was a gift for you, and you only, after all.

Glowing Heart Amulet: Grants +2 DMG and AC if either the wearer or their closest ship are below 50% HP. If within Range 2 of your closest ship, they automatically join you in counterattacks, no matter the distance. The effects of this Trinket are applied to both the wearer and their closest ship.

...She has very detailed blueprints. Nobody's really sure where she got them from, or when she got the time to draw them up.

Darkside then casts the line out into the lake, Truffle Worm on the other end. Nothing happens.

ut: ...Wait, can't the Duke only appear in the ocean?
ut: I think we're getting screwed with agai-

Duke Fishron suddenly pops out of the pool, despite the pool being hardly deep enough to conceal him beneath the surface. Mari promptly flinches and falls on her butt.

ut: MOTHERF-

...No boss subtitles appear.

ut: No way.
ut: This thing's just an elite? Well then.

Mari stands up, and readies herself for combat as Duke Fishron roars... in the exact same fashion as a giant eyeball, a world-eating worm of death, and a gigantic skeleton head with no lungs.

S T R I F E !

And then, lots of players decided to venture into Zone 5. Given that some people haven't distribute skillpoints, and that some people may want to make last-minute preparations for the battle in Zone 5, I'll wait a turn before launching that. Just be warned; you can't run from the fight once it starts! It'll be long, brutal, and very, very screwy. Seriously. Don't forget that NPC's can't join you in Zone 5, so... say your goodbyes, I guess? Or don't; they'll be in Zone 1, having a battle with a certain fish.

<BATTLE: THE CLEARING, TURN ZERO>
Duke Fishron's battle is special in the sense that there's wind, and that people in the battle will still be allowed to join the battle at Zone 5. Be careful with the wind! Also, given the low player cap, getting all the NPC's to aide you would be advisable.
