How about
Wand of Skys: 3-5, magic, range, air, Passive: Celestial aura: increases spell damage/effect by 25%. attack damage rises by .5 per spell.
Spell 1: portal, as described and Spell 2: Meteoric burst ,4 range, attacks an chosen entity in range with a power that scales based on mana used. (so 10mana=20dmg, 20=40, etc)
Special: Celestial Pentalty : 150 SP
player defence rises by 10. from then on, can chose between (sun)attack up, normal stats otherwise, Or (moon)def up, normal otherwise, Or (astroid) speed+range up, attack up, defence down, Or(star) range up, attack up,defence down, 'agility' down, Or a sudden burst of energy that ends the effect,(earth) max length 7 turns,
i don’t know how sp would be gained, maybe just over time?

Lyra notes how Xavier, an overly egotistic jerk that would certainly do unspeakable horrors on anybody he could be allowed to. This won't do at all for Lyra, this guy needs to learn some humility...

"Hey, Glad's! Is it okay with you if I pull a small practical joke on Xavier? He kind of fell asleep, so now I've got the perfect window to do it!"

Roll 1d20 for Bluff Check...

(23) [18 + 5 from being prank-related; it's Lyra, after all]

Well, now everybody's pretty much convinced of the small scale Lyra says it is.

[One Ire-response later]

Lyra has been cleared for her prank, and you can clearly see her smile beaming onto you for allowing her to do that.

[One death by audience participation later]

Lyra has stepped out onto the field. Xavier's currently unconscious body is there, too. With a band of cloth wrapped to her mouth to keep her from premature laughing, she gets to work...

Using the hammer, she smashes 3 Iron Ingots to create a frame for a round set of glasses, gluing 9 Glass Shards together for the actual glasses part of the glasses. Despite the very obvious non-magic of them, Lyra still requires something of them.

"[Spell Name Here]"

For security reasons, the spell name was removed by myself. No way in *heck* would I let you use it too.

* Mari's Glasses are in hand.

(THANKS FOR REMOVING ALL OF THE ORIGINAL TYPING OF THIS, CHROME)
Whatever was protecting Xavier's head now isn't, as Lyra has slipped it off and placed those glasses on.
It becomes apparent that every last person in the team has issues when this action was not stopped.

You could allllways just try to do another prank, you uncreative HA-

Quiet, please. Look at what you just did.
user posted image
And now look! The skills are all wrong and related to that character! LOOK!

SKILL: Spikeball. Spawn 2 spike balls on any tile in Range 3. Anything that directly touches those tiles, either by standing or being shoved into the path of one will then take (9-10) damage. Each one lasts 3 turns. 7 MP.
SKILL: Gravity Slam. Send everything in Range 1 directly to the closest available wall or spike. 9 MP.

And there's even a SPECIAL! THAT IS NOT A NORMAL!

SPECIAL: Area Gravity. Spawn a "black hole" in Range 3. The tile that you target and all tiles in Range 2 surrounding it reduce the accuracy of any range attack by -20% to enemies. Lasts until you try to place another one.
COST: 200
FILLS BY: Dealing Damage, Missed Attacks (By anyone in your battle, x5)

This is what you did. Are you proud of yourself?

I was perfecting that technique for months trying to make sure it works perfectly just in a scenario like this. He was acting like a big, arrogant jerk, so now I finally get a reason to do something about it!
And don't worry, I'm perfectly fine with the opposite tactics!

Why am I not shocked at this turn of events?

MOVE: I6
ATTACK: Skeleton Head Thingy
APPLY: Nothing, it's immune to all the things. We just have a relatively good opening to hit it now.
RETREAT: G8

MOVE: M9
STUN Wither Skeleton 2
TURN END

@JOEbob: Okay, I'll cover these point by point.
Wand of Skies: Okay, the scaling for this could be upped to 1 if it was on a per-fight basis; the scaling only lasts for the battle. +25% Spell Power is really, really good; crazyoverpoweredgood. Maybe you could get additional spell damage per spell, starting with a slight penalty?
Portal: Portal is amazingly good versus bosses, with highly predictable attack patterns. You could very easily make yourself outright immune to bosses.
Meteoric Burst: There's plenty of better spells you could take, to be honest. Mindcrush has a far better MP to damage ratio, and such.
Celestial Penalty: +10 AC for SEVEN TURNS is already overpowered in itself, especially with that low a cost AND passive SP regen. Seriously.

@Lyra: Since there's a good chance that Xavier will be woken up next turn... why not get a response now?

ga: A practical joke? I mean, as long as it won't main, injure, or kill him...
ga: Since your sense of "practical" and "joke" may be a little skewed...
ga: Then, sure.
ga: Say, is he doing okay? I haven't been following him lately...

Alt heads over to the Bonfire, and places the lava bucket on a stand over it. She chucks the lava in it at a nearby cinder tree, causing it to set more on fire than usual. Usually this is the part where a normal person would slice their palm to let blood, but thats not exactly an option for Alt because:
1. she's not a normal person
2. neither of her arms are flesh and blood.

Instead, she slices her cheek, collects the blood and lets it pool at the bottom of the bucket. It has a faint green tinge to it, but it's otherwise normal blood. In with this, she pours the Cinder Tea (which pairs surprisingly well with the blood), and stirs it a little using her right arm. Afterwards, she goes over to Soup, and takes the souls they automatically obtained from the slimes and snow golems. She then moonwalks back over to the bonfire and magically funnels the souls into the mixture brewing.

As everyone knows, souls and blood mix together just as well as oil and water. So they just sit atop one another. To make them combine, we're really gonna need an emulsifier.
...
...or, well, we could always just combine them magically. That seems like a better solution overall, so let's do that.

Toris Scrant Anhoc O'oh! Linis!

The souls collectively surround and intertwine with both the blood, linking to each other at their very cores. Neat. Alt now begins to stir this mixture. After a few minutes, she leaves the Soul Tea (really the only thing I can call it with certainty, but I'd wager that it's estus right about now) to sit. She then places a bunch of cobbletstone (much of which she generates herself) pseudo-haphazardly around the area. ©haos might not realise it, but the way its arranged heavily resembles an incredibly small terraria world. The Mindscape begins to fill in the blanks of the world according to Terraria worldgen logic, then realises how silly this is, and stops. At least it generated some clay. Alt recollects everything placed, and uses the newly created clay to fashion a nice flask with one of those fancy spinny wheel things that let you make pots and stuff.

Now, she gets on with the final stage of this crafting sequence. She grabs a couple of cinder logs, and places them over each other, effectively making a campfire. By giving her crystal arm the properties of DS's Nitre somehow, she causes the fire to become endothermic. She burns 3 pieces of hollowed bark over this fire, then places the Soul Tea over it. That should be about it. Leave it for a while, sprinkle the newly made Hollowed Ash into the 'Soul Tea'/Estus. The Estus loses its rich golden color, instead adopting a cold, electric blue. It is poured into the flask, which immediately becomes cold to the touch.. Boom. Done.

Ashen Estus Flask crafted!

Before anyone asks, it's for insert.

~~

Toast tosses a Green Sap Jar to Ette.
For you.
She then dashes down to G12, where she fires both weapons (once again) in the general direction of the shard sentry.

How about 'portal' costs more mana the stronger the redirected attack is?
i did say i didnt know how sp should be gained, and the exact up amount is to your discretion; only the defence was +10, and i'm prettty sure the health is the lowest stat point-cost-wise, the metioric thingi scale was example,
and to end this comment, all my ideas were not meant to be takes as perfect ones, or anything; they were more like guidelines then anything.

Before Lyra leaves to """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""prank""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Xavier, she earns a suspecting glare from The Author.

Something tells me this "prank" won't be as harmless as you imply.

Auth doesn't bother stopping the foxgirl from actually doing it though. He doesn't want to get hit with anything that could potentially cripple him. Further.

The Author then moves closer to the Exit, on H13, to allow him to safely shoot himself in the arm and heal. He applies a new buff, Guardian(3) to himself, just to lower his chances of becoming ded.

If Auth finds out what Lyra did to Xavier, he'll laugh. Then feel slight, slight pity for him. Then laugh a bit more.

In regards to Roxxanne...

Auth seems more happy that Roxxanne was enjoying the food he made than anything else.

Auth bows to Roxxanne when she thanks him, and calls him nice.

Don't mention it, Roxxanne. I'm happy you enjoyed it!

Auth smiles just wide enough for his elongated canine teeth to be seen.

Auth takes the final plate, and leaves a Specter, which cleans up the Teahouse while Auth deals with the cooking equipment. Afterwards, Auth changes back into his usual outfit.

(I'm not sure what order this happens in.)

Temmie!Roxxanne: Flee Xavier's Backpack.

Lyra may have rolled 23 on D20. Roxxanne, however, does not care for your D20 bullshit, and considering who she's dealing with, knows better than to trust that this is a "mild" prank.

Xavier also fucking deserves it, and Lyra wouldn't be so stupid as to personally attain Roxxanne's wrath. Roxxanne is arguably Lyra's greatest hard-counter.

"I know exactly what you're thinking of doing, Lyra... Do it. He does need some skill-switching. And also, some attitude adjustments. As long as he doesn't suddenly gain enough IQ points to suddenly turn super genius and build a mass party-wipe death trap out of like a toothpick that we couldn't see coming, you're clear as crystal. Oh, but keep his weirdo shield, if you can. That's OK. I don't care what lesbian fetish you may or may not have, either, it'll be hilarious. As for everyone else, laugh. Just laugh. It's funny, and we all know it." Roxxanne says, merrily marching out of the Backpack as Lyra comes in. She proceeds to hit up an exit tile and poof, because she was never important.

Roxxanne isn't actually in that battle, though. Roxxanne is back at the teahouse, now just realizing that someone made a big ton of food. "Aaaaaah! fooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!"

Roxxanne's table manners were lacking for the whole occasion. She mercilessly scarfed down everything in sight, only barely aware of the standard etiquette, all spurred on by ravenous hunger. Roxxanne really didn't know what to say to Auth in response to it all, either. She hadn't been treated this nicely by anyone! She just had more shouting similar to the above until it was all done. "Thank you, niceness person Auth person, colon three! You're a very niceness!" Roxxanne says.

NOW WE DO THINGS.

First off, because I'm no longer hitting up the OSP battle, I opt to change from Icebolt to Blarksphere, as was my intent beforehand. It won't really be important, I think. I then spawn in at H9 in the Foe Rush, with my Temmie Archer spawning at H10 and the Scale Serpent spawning in at I9. A reroll of Scalebrine before the fight landed me with the Brain on a Stick, so a Glitch Zombie comes a-knockin' at I7...Because everywhere else adjacent is taken. Boo.

The Scale Serpent will move to J6 and 'attack' insert by mildly poking him in the eye, before retreating to K6. That should wake him up.

The Temmie Archer will fire upon the Shard Sentry, then move to F14.

The Glitch Zombie will shamble up to I5 and attack Darkrai directly.

I will move up to N5. If I still have the Undeath Orb, or another weapon that can attack and kill the Moai from where I stand, I use it on the Moai for lethal. If not, I use a Blarksphere on it instead.

@Marron: Yo, could you be all awesome and stuff and murder Darkrai? Yeah. The Green Sap will work it's magic on the time bomb.

@Insert: Respawn Chlorin upon being woken up. Put him in range and LoS of Darkrai.

@Chlorin: Help attack Darkrai.

@Everyone: Attack Darkrai if you can and you're not occupied. I also think it's time to all step away from the fountain. Like, stay close-ish if you're melee DPS but otherwise stay away.

@Teag Sentry: Just in case, it attacks Darkrai.

Chlorin is revived.

Well that place was definitely weird.

Chlorin shoots Darkrai before GTFOing to L2.

I quickshot the GS01 and push it back into (the abyss or into the wall?). I then move back to G14 to avoid the Hands.
I then take myself a computational board and plug it into the Sniper Rifle. It then seems to transform itself and the caliber transforms into a battery. Seems that it shoots code-lasers that are focused?

[big]Turn 190 Actions:[/big]

Shoot feels that it's finally time to kill Darkrai this turn. Chlorin has already attacked him once, so following up with another attack will surely end it. Shooty, for not using the shot to attempt to kill the 1st Dog and stop the timebomb, says a quick sorry to Marron and Ette and then fires a shot over the sleeping Xavier and into Darkrai.

> Pulse Rifle shot at Darkrai.

The Operative sighs as he comes down from the high of being in UNLIMITED mode, briefly shutting down... before he wakes up again and remembers the battle. Then, he dashes all the way down to I9 and smacks the Axe Hand if it still lives, or I10 and smacks Skeletron Prime if the hand is dead. Then, he retreats to K7, assuming it's unoccupied.

"I hope the Shattered dies soon. It's proving inconvenient, and I really don't want this battle to be my first death."

Teag sits around, not knowing what to do, until suddenly, he remembers something and gets an idea!
He performs the exact same crafting sequence Darkside did a couple turns ago to make two more of those Potions of Temmie Syrup Burrito. He then quickly builds a mundane helmet from 5 iron, as a base.
Teag then creates two cans out of 10 Iron, because drinking hats simply don't work as well when drinking out of bottles. In Teag's opinion, at least. Teag pours the two Potions of Temmie Syrup Burrito in to the cans.
He then smelts 20 Glass Shards in to something roughly in the shape of a somewhat V-shaped straw. He then weaves 6 Silkweed in to two very nice pieces of fabric. He uses them to tie the cans to the helmet.
Finally, Teag inserts the straw in to both of the cans and seals them around the straw. The result is a cool little drinking helmet.

INPUT: 2 Potions of Temmie Syrup Burrito, 15 Iron, 20 Glass Shards, 6 Silkweed
RESULT: Temmie Syrup Burrito Can Drinking Helmet.
Not sure entirely what the stats would be, but I'm thinking HP Regen, MHP, and maybe something else.

Teag presents this hat to Gladius, to see how she feels about it.

<TURN ONE-HUNDRED AND NINETY-ONE>

@JOEBob: Okay, so I have an idea for Portal now. I'll just post it spell format...
Portal (0 MP)
The first attack directed at you deals damage to your MP instead. Every point of MP can absorb 2 damage. Deal the amount of damage absorbed back to your attacker. "Overflow" damage goes straight to your HP.
...I'll be honest, I also don't know what you're saying in your latest post. Sorry.

To start this update off, Lyra decides to take a break and go and screw with Xavier. She goes to Xavier limp sleeping form, and creates Mari's Glasses from 3 Iron and 9 Glass Shards. He then slips the glasses onto Xavier. His body starts shaking and convulsing, him waking up from the trauma. Parts of his body change size and shape, and his hair goes from a rough blonde to a combination of blue and black, shooting up in size, flowing down his back.

By the time his convulsions are done, Xavier has somehow changed gender, and general body type. He stands up, his(her?) legs shaking. Mari!Xavier is barely able to speak.

ut: W-W-What the gorilla did you do!?
ut: What happened to my voice!?
ut: Why am I... cute?

He proceeds to collapse, applying the Sleep status to himself once again. Marron, seeing the now-collapsed Mari-Xavier, doubles over in laughter. She soon drops to the floor, rolling around, laughing all the while. Once she picks herself back up, it's clear that she's trying her hardest to hold back the laughter as she talks.

tc: HAHAHA, YES!
tc: I have absolutely NO IDEA what you did, but it's gorillaing beautiful!
tc: Oh man, PLEASE show him to Chloe. That'd be absolutely hillarious!
tc: "Hey Chloe, go meet your big sister!"
tc: pffft

Marron resumes her laughter, hardly paying attention to the fighting around her; she's probably not going to stop until the end of the turn. But anyway, Xavier's stats and skills have changed! Meanwhile, Alt uses her own blood, some Cinder Tea, illegally-obtained souls, 15 Cinder Logs, and 3 Hollowed Bark to make the Ashen Estus Flask! Insert immediately equips the flask. Roxxanne then switches to Blarksphere, and moves into the Foe Rush. Marron's happiness seems to fade a bit with your presence. Teag then assembles a drinking helmet out of 2 Potions of Burrito, 6 Medical Herbs, 2 Everlasting Apple Pieces, two Temmie Flakes, 1 Green Sap Orb, 15 Iron, 20 Glass Shards, and 6 Silkweed. You give the helmet, dubbed the Temmie Syrup Helmet over to Chloe.

ga: Is this what I think it is?

She examines the somewhat heavy helmet, and sees the potions slotted in.

ga: It is! Awesome!
ga: I didn't think any of you would actually make it, but it's so nice!

She takes a sip of the Temmie Syrup Burrito. Her face winces slightly.

ga: That didn't taste how I expected it to.
ga: Wish the formula was a little better, but eh.
ga: Thank you!

Then, Sunny puts a circuit board into his Sniper. Nothing interesting happens... maybe you should put a bit more effort into crafting?

<BATTLE: FOE RUSH ZONE THREE, TURN EIGHT>

The well in the dead center of this memory begins to start leaking all over, drips of water bursting forth like a broken barrel, while the main reservoir of water within starts expanding over the cusp. A deep rumbling sound is heard all the while. Naturally, deep rumbling sounds can only signify bosses, so everyone braces for the dynamic entry-just as it starts happening. The well violently explodes in a mass of water, spraying everywhere and preventing an immediate retaliation. You can barely follow the figure that popped out: Some kind of small unicorn, with a door in its mouth and an artificial left foreleg.

"Oh, you're facing that?" Zetta says, telepathically. "I have no clue why you are, aside from masochism. One of my first orders of business around here, you know, was to entrap the more dangerous and rowdy memories in those orbs you see lying around to keep them from interfering. The Origin Spider, EBF, Chairiel, and whatever the hell that Pane executed to fight you in its steed-and I probably would have done it to the Sleuth as well, had you not already slain him. Too dangerous to leave lying around like that, and most uncontrollable. I naturally had to cut out most of the surrounding environment to be sure. In other words, take pride in the fact that you're facing things that you have no real reason to face and weren't in your way at all to begin with. Good job getting off track!"

The 'Unicorn' slams to the spot where the well was, landing on the water like it was a hard surface. You can now clearly see the glitchy marks and the memory core that signifies its status as a memory, and not the real thing. You can also see that this particular memory has murder in its steely gaze and looks more than ready to kill you.

"Now, small tip. That guy is half the asinine and overpowered Author Avatar you all know and love-slash-hate that I refer to as Xi, and half Chaos's phobia of water personified and, appropriately, spiteful of all things living and not water. Soooo...Enjoy your ticket to Davy Jone's locker, and say hi to Captain Ahab while you're down there!"

The water around the arena shakes and rumbles, and looks almost ready to grab at your neck...but, after a few seconds, nothing happens. The Memory Xi, who seems to be dead silent, stomps its hoof in irritation.

"...Or, his special isn't charged yet. Ugh, whatever. He could probably still kill you on his lonesome, but I'd appreciate the irony if your ultimate fate was to drown to the guy you deliberately summoned to fight you."

Xi whinnies in frustration, before turning to you, murderous intent in his glitch-prone eyes.

You are accosted by the...

ahahahahahahahahahahah no, not for you, Teag.

----OSP----

I instant-message Lyra: "If Gladius asks about the transformation and isn't fond of it, it was your fault."

IN any case, if you guys could wrap up very quickly? The Foe Rush needs tanks, and lots of them, fast.

----Foe Rush 3----

"Hello, 'Mari.' Your attempted murder of Marron really only added to your crimes, even if you were stopped. Also your skills sucked. SO, we had Lyra 'adjust' you mid-fight. As you can tell, Lyra is our cosplay master. If we need to go to any conventions we know who to call. Hopefully your new form will help you appreciate your sister more, be more useful to us all, and basically repair your broken life... and I'm not sure how Gladius will actually react to all of this, but hey! Now you get to know what it's like to be an adoriboo anime, colon three! We see no real reason to change you back for now, or really ever, so... Get used to it. 'Mari.' "

Roxxanne is barely containing her laughter. She can now instantly emphasize with Lyra's pranks, now and forever. Of course, there's the issue of the other things now ongoing. "In any case... Let's start tearing this dude down."

I stay put and slam Xi with a Blarksphere from where I am, and I stay where I am because where I am is safely within Range 6 of Xi. As long as nobody moves him back I'm OK.

The Temmie Archer will snipe Xi where he is and move back to G13. The Scale Serpent will move to I8 and use his Entropic Fang on Xi before Retreating back to J9. The Glitch Zombie shall move to I7 and generically smack Xi before bounding back to J7.

@Battlefury: Dog, Range 1 of Xi. Keep them there, we'll need 'em close as long as it'll last, preferably. You're fairly tanky yourself, enough to survive a Sacred Swirl/Mythic Drill combo... Once. Don't use that yet, though, keep back.

@Toast: You're the only other real person that can tank his blows, regrettably. He'll probably dispel your AC very quickly, mind, but defensive buffs were never going to work on this guy in the first place, for the most part, and the way he acts basically means that when you don't have to tank, you're going to have a hard time drawing aggro as he can probably easily sneak around the backlines to snipe the squishies...

@Everyone: Don't stand too close to Range 2 so he feels tempted to use Sacred Vortex, unless everything in that range has good AC. Also, don't line up on his cardinals/diagonals so he can't easily Mythic Drill you afterwards. The exception is if you're tanking, of course. Also, don't stand too close to any water tiles, and don't group up, whatever you do! He'll enjoy using Transfer Heat if you do that, and you will feel salty about dying to it.
