What if Bill just shoots Mabuz twice? Then he (Mabuz) is at the very least 180% dead. If Bill can do this, it may be better to put the Divine Shield on Toast, have Mabuz at Range 3+ and continue with the current plan. Otherwise Mabuz is gonna be a lot more dead that usual.

I presume Bill won't be able to shoot anyone at Range 3 with his second shot while I'm in Range 2 if last turn is anything to go off, but maybe Ire can confirm/deny that?

The Operative has an angle of attack already figured out. Noticing that the summons the Tem of Cinders made appear to have no ZoC, he runs right past them to J6, slashes at the Tem of Cinders with katana in Electric mode, then just stands there and smirks at ToC.


Meanwhile in the background a lot of lightning energy is used to erect a gigantic middle finger aimed directly skywards to send an offensive message in the general direction of Xavier's house

<TURN ONE-HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-SEVEN>
Battlefury makes a clone, then sends it towards the Rundown House. The clone conjures a speaker array, with audio so loud that it sends it flying through the woods due to sound waves and pure science. The drone hand (now known as the God's Hand) proceeds to fire another laser from it's palm, destroying the array before it can get the seventh line of dialogue off.

ut: I should file a noise complaint.
ut: You gorilla.

You then expend the remainder of your Antimatter Bombs (except one) and one Containment Chamber to create an Antimatter Chamber. You then soak it in crude oil, and cover it in attack notices. Before you can do anything else, the God's Hand proceeds to grab the chamber, drags it away from the house and towards you, and then pegs it with a laser. It explodes, instantly killing your clone. This fails to affect you in-battle, but you fail to talk to Xavier. The Shade of Darkside then remarks about stuff to nobody in particular, but Chloe's not far away from you, so...

ga: I honestly don't know how he COULD be so cruel...
ga: He used to be a decent person, too...
ga: Maybe he got lonely...?
ga: I have no idea. He's still a cocky gorilla though; I don't think he gives a damn about your true strength, or your tactics.

Roxxanne then loses her gorilla. The moment you mention an apology, he speaks up.

ut: Apologize? Sure.

The God's Hand floats over to Chloe, hovering a few feet from her. His voice sounds genuine.

ut: Hello, sister. I'd like to say that I'm sorry for trying to remove your head with a laser.
ga: Really?
ga: Aw, thanks.
ga: I forgive you, don't worry.
ut: Thanks. Why not give me a hug...?
ut: (And I mean hug the hand, because I'm not coming out.)

Chloe walks up to the hand, and gives it a nice, warm hug. She embraces the hand for a few seconds, letting her flames flicker off her body freely.

ut: I'd also like to tell you that you're about to get absolutely destroyed.
ga: Wait, what-

The hand proceeds to ensnare Chloe, crushing her slightly. It then tosses her up in the air like a ball, floats into position, and proceeds to spike her like a person would a volleyball, launching her away from the house. She impacts a tree and suffers (18-1) damage, the wood nosily cracking as she impacts it. It takes a moment for her to push herself back up from the ground, a bit of blue glitched substance left on the tree she slammed into. Xavier has a laugh, while Chloe's words are interlaced with coughs.

ut: I'd should also tell you that I lied, and that I'm not really sorry.
ga: T-That's obvious...

The God's Hand flies away, and goes back to addressing Roxxanne as she talks.

ut: Hah, good luck even entering the house. I have this next-gen thing you may or may not have heard of, called a "door".
ut: It's great because you can't open it.

Roxxanne, despite being absolutely fed up with him, still tosses Xavier the corpse of Redstone, which decided to stick around after his death. The hand examines the scraps.

ut: ...these are literally just the bits and pieces of a robot.
ut: "Some of your research handled" my gorilla.

You then mention that Chloe is an a relationship with the Operative.

He finally opts to talk, sounding totally nonchalant.

The hand proceeds to fly back towards the Rundown House. He doesn't speak much after that. Toast then speaks with Experiment 15, asking what to do to stop her. Her voice remains somewhat light, if a bit weak.

aa: i can't be stopped =|
aa: well, actually, it depends on if you can kill my master...
aa: maybe i'd be free then...

She keeps walking forwards. You then opt to expend some MP to launch Experiment 15 out of the house, wood breaking as you punch her through the fragile framing of the house. There's an ear-piercing shriek of pain as she's launched. You then exit the house. 15's landed near the shrinking panel, completely limp. As you walk towards the panel to escape, her body violently convulses, and there's a pulse of red. She floats up, reorients herself, and levitates downward, both feet landing squarely on the ground. Of note is that she's completely unharmed; no marks on her clothing or skin; it's like you didn't hit her.

She resumes her menacing walk towards you... While you could just fly away, she's still near the shrinking panel; you want to be big again, right? ManOfThemMen1 then joins the game! Welcome!

Teag then hits the fabled x5 First-Post Combo, obtaining the First Strike.

The Shade turns to speak with Chloe, but is then interrupted by Xavier's robot. Clearly he doesn't trust Xavier for a second. He couldn't interrupt because reasons.
"(Well this isn't going to end well)".
And then she was slammed against the tree. Hard. The Shade's eyes look to The Bonfire fight.
"I feel... the presence of a very pissed off robot assassin... Hang on, I'll be right there, Chloe!"
The Shade immediately runs towards Chloe, and helps her to her feet, keeping an eye out for any more unwanted guests. He's legitimately furious at Xavier for... well... everything he's been doing so far to Chloe.
"Why... who in their right mind would even THINK of doing this!? To their sister no less! AUGH!!"
Once Chloe is back on her feet, he opts to help her get back to the ship (Thankfully, this shade is completely separate to the original, so no fire weakness), while talking and healing any wounds;
"I wouldn't be surprised if being alone for so long made him go mad. I know what it's like. If you're alone for too long, with literally nobody else to speak to or nobody to socialize with, it messes your mind up as you think about all of what the world is.
It's partially what made me into the... uh... 'edgelord' (as people love to call me) I am today.
Whatever turned him sour, it must've been huge."
The Shade gives a mischievous smile.
"...And don't worry about his cockiness... we'll sort that out eventually. And don't worry about me; I won't participate in any torture this time around. Didn't enjoy it the first time around anyway; I actually kind of hated it. Woulda preferred a simple duel, to be frank. Though... I feel like the Operative especially is getting furious over this; god knows what he'll do after this."
When the two reach the ship, The Shade runs in and grabs a cup of coffee. "Here." He hands it to Chloe, and proceeds to tend to her wounds.
It's clear that The Shade, and by extension, DarkSide, values trust and common gorillaing sense above almost all else.
"Don't get me wrong, though; the Operative's got many things going for him. He may be made of metal, but he's got a heart of gold, from what I could tell. Figuratively, and perhaps literally. Har."

WELL THEN.
While my Shade tends to Chloe and does strategy with Roxxanne, I head to the Crossroads and heal up at the Alcove. (Does this heal up my MP as well? It doesn't change much if not, but it would certainly help).
If Chloe is about to do something rash, I will instead bolt to her position, grab her arm (however fiery it may be), and convince her to not do what she was planning on doing.
