@Teag @Sunnyau @Rotomslashblast @Cyanogynist

To be frank, I'm sorry, but the battle already has 11 people and you can't ALL join. (Well, you can but this triggers extreme hardmodes for no benefit whatsoever). This is an extraordinarily sensitive battle due to the extreme difficulty, so not only can we not do any other battles for fear of losing someone and needing a switch to someone else. As such, builds have to be HIGHLY optimized for the fight, if not outright made from the ground up for it.

@Cyanogynist, I hereby give you the greenlight to join. Your abilities, as far as support goes, are perhaps more vital than ever. Sorry, guys-I don't really like telling people they can't participate, but this was a really hard decision on my part.

@Sunnyau @Teag @Rotomslashblast: There's a considerably less extreme battle going on at Zone 3 against Glitch Night Ghosts. There seems to be something important behind there so I'll straight-up say it may be worth your while to head over there and put your talents to use. I understand the Bill fight IS more interesting, but skillpoint gains from Bosses seem to be global so there's no real point in joining just for its own sake. For Sunny and Rotom, this is also a considerably less sensitive mission to get to grips with the fighting abilities without dying in literally seconds due to a misstep.

@Lyra: As you haven't used your weapon, I realize that the entire point of preserving the Rallying Blade is kind of lost if no-one uses it, and the Chroma Hammer's abilities are kind of...Less than stellar on Bill proper, as he's got a good array of immunities. I think there are a few status effects that could really ruin his day without being no-sold (Glitch stands out due to losing accuracy, the primary defense against some of his ridiculousness). I've thought of a few things, but could you at least consider using the turn to quick-switch to the Rallying Blade? The Divine Shield effect will be by all means amazing and wholly appreciated, BUT I'm not saying don't remove Chroma Hammer if you have some particuarily good ideas, merely that it might not be as good.

I'm not 100% on this either, but if you've come to a decision, at least make it this turn.

/null, but an important one.

-Overriding previous post(The edits have malfunctioned)-
I craft more circuit boards and code one of the boards using the computers in the MW Anti with computational algorithms.
@Tazz, how are we gonna go there? We are in Zone 4!(Also, I am just knowing that those pts are global. Thanks for that.)

@Sunnyau: There's a gateway to go to other zones at the Base, right next to the MW Anti.

<TURN ONE-HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FOUR>
Teag gets a free switch to his old equipment... and his regular skills? I don't recall you switching skills. He then heads over to help Darkside with something he'll be doing on his action. He then asks about the effects of the Immortemity Potion.

"It's nothing like actual immortality; otherwise, we'd have more money than we could ever hope to work with. What it does do, however, is temporarily triple your Max Hit Points for... five turns, I believe. It also fully heals the drinker. It'd be good in a pinch. Or when dealing with foes who can deal an upwards of 70 damage per attack, wink wink nudge nudge."

Toast then updates her special conditions, while her clone, Alt, works on a ribbon for Marron, expending 10 Titanium and 1 Gold (ingot). Once you're done with your demonstration of how the ribbon works, she takes the ribbon, lowers her hood, and ties it into her hair. After a quick test of the enchantment herself, she tries (and fails) to conceal a smile. You then inquire as to whether she'd want to join you or not.

tc: ...you know what?
tc: Fine.
tc: ...as long as you or Ette are around, I guess I'll help...?

Ette proceeds to glomp her, almost knocking her off her feet. She shakes free of her grip, and gently dismisses her to your side.

tc: Just get it in your head that I won't throw my like away for you, or anything like that. Hmph.

...Marron joins your party! Kinda! She won't necessarily listen to you, though...

tc: Truth be told, I still think SOME of you hate me.
tc: I bet Roxxanne or your resident edgelord...

Ette waves her arms around, conveying her message.

tc: ...that edgelord being Darkside, and maybe... eh, I bet a bunch of you would like to bring me to my knees. Again.

She then silently hands you the burrito, which you take.

tc: I also suppose that I could give you my old scythe. It's not like I'll be putting it to any use, so...

You also obtain the Nightmarron! Marron then mumbles to herself about it being "overly complex", and that she never really learned how to properly use it. It looks dangerous, yet strangely familiar to some of you. Notes are scrawled across the base of the weapon, pertaining to some buttons on the weapon. The notes read things like "useless", "don't press", and things like that. Darkside then casts Heal on a Glitch Night Ghost. Thanks to Crit Aug, the Glitch Night Ghost is hit with a whopping (48) crit-augmented damage! It explodes into a mess of smoke. The other ghost takes offense to this, and prepares to strike!

S T R I F E !

...a few Glitch Crimeras and Eaters fly in. It seems they've taken notice. How nice. Rotom then lunges into the fight with Bill Cipher, along with Cyanogynist. Sunny then -ifys 3 Circuit boards with 9 Wire Bits, then adds "computational algorithms" into them. The Operative then equips the Farenheit Amulet, and and keeps chatting up Chloe. She remains somewhat silent until you talk about your name. She's instantly apologetic.

ga: ...ah, gorilla! I'm so sorry for bringing back bad memories...

You then say that you COULD bring up your name. She seems the slightest bit interested, it showing in her voice.

ga: No, it's fine. I don't need to know.
ga: There's something to be said about an air of mystery to a guy...
ga: It's a bit alluring, hehe.

You then offer to take her somewhere inside the ship. She declines.

ga: I'm perfectly content just sitting out here. The weather's perfect this time of day; nice and hot!
ga: Thanks, though! I appreciate the notion.

As you head off towards the Bonfire, she yells something out to you as you go.

ga: If you need any help with your fight, don't hesitate to call me!
ga: ...Stay safe!

She casts Flaming Circle on you, granting you a defensive aura of flames. You then arrive at the area of the Bonfire, and walk through a fog gate, into an area filled with ruins and cindered ground. Two figures stand at the center of the rocky plane, near the bonfire that the zone is named after. The two figures draw their weapons out; one has a massive spear crackling with lightning, the other has a hammer nearly the size of his massive body...

S T R I F -

...The Pool of White in the zone is promptly struck by a Crimson Scale. The white matter of the pool is flung about the zone, a small portion of it remaining in the pool after impact. The white liquid then proceeds to slowly inch up the scale, consuming it. There's a loud noise as the scale shatters, a roar unlike one you've heard before echoing throughout the area. The pool of white turns into a pool of red, the little globules of the pool scattered around the zone now levitating and flying towards the main mass.

Two arms extend out of the amorphous mass, seizing both figures in the blink of an eye, and then tossing them off the cliff of the zone, instantly killing them! Another pair of arms emerges from the mass, pulling the whole Bonfire into its embrace. The entire red mass lights up in flames, and it begins to convulse. It touches down on the ground, and begins to shape itself; Four legs; two pairs of strangely different ears... The mass, as it begins to solidify into this new form, begins to speak...

"h00001iu1iu2i111!!!

tem ibzz... temmm igzb...

true her0."

A mass of burning scale fragments rips out of the creature, forming into a longsword. The creature, almost certainly a Temmie, gallops towards you in a blinded rage, letting out an abyssal "h0i" as it charges forth!

S T R I F E !

<ZONE 6>
SOUL takes a perspective selfie, then accidentally crushes the Monolith. Nothing seems to happen, despite the Monolith getting crushed. It does glow, though...
(1 / 10)

<BATTLE: BILL GODDAMN CIPHER, TURN ONE>
Okay, Bill's already gotten some good damage off! Be wary of those players with Oblivion and Providence on them, and be sure to dispel them! If you have Manaburn, hitting bill with it is a very valid tactic! Do take note of Bill's deals, which I will list here.

HEY, CHL0R1N! 1'LL G1VE Y0U A SK1LLP01NT, 1F 1 C0ULD JUST HAVE 15 MEASELY SP! DEAL?
Y0U THERE! S0UPB0WL! 1'LL M0D1FY Y0UR DAMAGE BY 6 F0R THREE TURNS, F0R JUST 5 0F Y0UR SP! H0WZAB0UT IT?
HEY J0N! H0W'S 1T G0ING? H0W W0ULD Y0U ENJ0Y x1.5 DAMAGE F0R TH1S WH0LE F1GHT, 1N EXCHANGE F0R... A SMALL SUM 0F HP! F0R ME, ANYWAY! HEH!

<BATTLE: THE OUTER WALL, TURN ZERO>
A word of warning for this fight; you'll be moved down as far as possible after you end your turn! Think of this battle map as a "sideways" view; that'll help you comprehend it easier.

<BATTLE: THE BONFIRE, TURN ZERO>
...This Temmie has lost itself. Anyway, this "boss-esque" creature has four different forms, which it can switch to at the end of every turn! You doubt that it'll have minions; it's just an honorable battle against a Temmie. Of death.

@rotomslashblast: OK, I politely asked you to edit your action to not join the fight. I'm sorry, you really do have to leave or bad things happen, and I kind of want Cyanogynist to be in the fight over you right now, especially since this is a high-coordination fight and you've just started. It's like throwing the new guy into the maws of the angry dragon with no anti-dragon training at all, and that'd be a mean first experience. I'll politely ask you'll leave.

If you do not, I will politely have everyone veto you out of the fight.

If it helps, there's an equally important and way less intense fight at The Bonfire area that needs players on the double You can head there and give The Operative a hand-I'm sure he'll appreciate it, and I will too.

speaking of which...

@Hot Pocket: Welcome! Can I just say that is one of the most insane burst damage builds I've seen yet? Shifting Sands may not be worth it compared to Blink (as Blink doesn't end your move so you can still shoot), but that's your decision and I can respect it.

----Bill's Shrine---

OK, so, a bit of news: Bill obeys LoS rules, so his 'directional' attacks (the + and X shaped ones) cannot pierce walls. If you can't get out of Range 3, staying behind a pillar might be REALLY smart.

@Chlorin: You may accept the deal. It's safe (it takes your SP, not your HP)-Bill gave you a concrete prize for concrete costs and no BS. Also, don't move to H8! There's no benefit and you can't even do that! Move to K10 and shoot Bill, then back away! Do not stand on a row, column or diagonal that Bill also occupies, either!

@Soup: No deal. That's going to backfire. "modify by 6" means negative. (Ire gave us that free.) In general, if Bill doesn't deliberately give us a positive value to work with we won't take it. Also, move away from Bill, please.

@Jondanger: This one's kind of a 50/50 as you will die if you take that. If you do, I'll make sure someone hits you with Autorevive just to spite Bill. Also, make sure you attack Bill either way. Keep out of his horizontals, diagonals and verticals!

@Swat Temmie 1: Fire on Keyhole, then back off to D3.

@Swat Temmie 2: Fire on Keyhole, move to J4.

@Swat Temmie 3: H12, Fire on Bill, Retreat to G13.

@Swat Temmie 4: K11, Use Terrain Repair on J12.

@X-Saber 1: Attack Keyhole (with a Follow-up Slash), Move to J5. This should kill Keyhole cleanly, if he doens't pull clutch dodges out of his rear.

@Mabuz/Nomble: You're both where an Oblivion'd SWAT Temmie will be, so move away from there.

@X-Saber 2: Attack Bill from H10 (Follow-up Slash is OK), retreat to back where you're standing.

@Lyra: Move to within Range 3 of Toast without standing on a diagonal/cardinal of bill's and apply Divine Shield to Toast.

@Toast: Rev up. Ignore Oblivion for now; we'll keep away from you, just keep close to Bill. (also he may damage himself if he uses Oblivion's Glare while you're right next to him and that'll be funny.)

@Healerbot X: Use the Crusader Rounds on Numbersoup.

All good things must come to an end, and while this isn't a clustertruck JUUUST yet I'd love to see Bill squirm. I activate my Weapon Skill and reroll my weapons, then move to D13. "You are a thief, liar and con-artist, good sir! Surrender for your criminal actions!...Wait, I should have probably said this earlier-wait wouldn't you just escape whatever prison-AUGH I hate this kind of situation! I can kill you! I will kill you!"

----The Bonfire----

Ayaze will spawn in at F12, and the Arrow-Kun on H12, at the Bonfire battle. The Arrow-Kun will move up to I10 and Guard, I guess, while Ayaze snipes The Tem of Cinders from where she is right now. Range 8, gotta love it.

----Zone 4----

Roxxanne's clone will head to the Cavern Blockage in Zone 1 Via portal. Because the clone probably still has Scalebrine's Trueform, she'll use its powers to quickly dig up and add to the inventory as much ore as she can, careful not to damage the ores with the entropic energies of the Trueform.

...Say, while I have it, what does Trueform even look like?

Chlorin accepts Bill's offer.

Deal. You might kill me faster with your special, but it's a freaking skillpoint.
But still, I'm going to kill you.

Chlorin then moves to K9, shoots Bill, and retreats to M8.

@Operative

Play around with skill points, get 14 MP, get Mindcrush, and use it on the Tem of Cinders to see what happens. The log for it states that it acts LIKE a boss, but it's not actually a boss.
EDIT: Damn it. It doesn't work.

I request a description of the Anti-Glitch Rifle Rounds and Nightmarron. Maybe a story update, too...?

~~

@Healers, don't remove Providence from Battlefury until next turn. If he uses Providence's Glare, then it will take one turn to take effect, then players with the debuff will be affected. This means that he wastes his action.

Toast yanks the chain on the Jadesaw, causing it to glow light blue and giving it a misty aura. Ice. Nice. She also moves to J10.

Come on, Bill, you know I'm almost immortal at this point.

Meanwhile, Alt!Toast enquires Ette regarding the puppet in the Escape Pod. She also removes the woodworms and water from the canister holding Ikea's disembodied head. Alt places the woodworms in a box, and the water in bottles. In typical Toast fashion, she shows her insanity by then placing the bottled water in bottles.

~~

SOUL picks up the pieces of the Monolith, and chucks it down the abyss.

Oh boy, a new person! Just out of curiosity, though, have any reason why you're playing?

>Lyra: Await orders.

"Say the word and I shall shield ye, comrades! ...I can also kill his friends, if you need. That works, too."

IF Nobody puts up a suggestion for Lyra, then use this set of actions (I can DefendShield people that need to get within Range 1 of Bill so they can take the Pew to the face; he likes to be up-close):

MOVE: I3
ATTACK: Keyhole
RETREAT: J4

You're not clever, Bill.

Here's a deal that's actually good.

Bill will gain 5 SP, no more, no less, each turn for the rest of the battle. As well, each and every player in the Bill fight will deal 1 additional damage, no more, no less, for their basic attacks for the rest of the battle. So, what do you think?

I attack Bill and retreat to E7.

The Author warps in on the MW Antidisestablishmentarianism. He would normally by faffing around with RP by this point, but there isn't time for this.

He takes out his Notebook... and it instantly gets stolen by the Glitch Temmie.

He doesn't seem surprised by this. So he takes the Temmie to the Bonfire to back up the Operative, as...

HP : 23
MP: 17
STR: 2
AGI: 4
INT: 7
SPC: 1

Items:
Glitch Temmie: (1-5 Damage) (1 Range, 1 Retreat) Magic/Melee Weapon Passive: Hungry: Steals 1 Temmie Flake per turn.
(sorry that was Notebook.)
Mana Circlet
Cloak of Concealment
Finale Amulet

Spells:

Melody/Prayer

Special: Prophecy of Annihilation:
Deal (7-10) damage in a line. Range 3. Create Abyss tiles along the line. Enemies hit are knocked to either side of the fissure. Tiles adjacent to the Abyss tiles are converted to Wildfire tiles, which deal Burning for two turns on anything passing through them. They disappear ofter three turns.
+2 from beginning a buff/debuff, +1 for every turn it lasts, +1/3 HP healed (because my skills are based on Support)

My Action: The Author enters the Bonfire Fight on G12. He then steps forward to G11, right behind the Operative. He gives the Operative the Melody buff. Then that's it.

(I think that was right?)

The Operative seems to be focused on something in his mind... He seems almost distracted, but nonetheless manages to pull himself together enough to take action. First, he semi-concentrates on casting Counter on himself, then he crosses his katana over his chest and smirks at the Tem of Cinders, the flames that Gladius earlier set up around him still burning strongly as arcs of lightning can be seen passing along his arms and legs.

"Hoi, fallen hero. Come. We fight like men."

The static electricity is building... The Operative charges his way up to G6, arcs of lightning rushing along the blade of his katana as he takes a quick slash at the Tem of Cinders's body, before combat-rolling retreating to F7. He seems to be very happy to have an opponent to fight, and a way to test out the recent enhancements to parts of his gear. Who knows, he might even be able to fully charge his ultimate in this battle... won't that be fun?
