The Operative seems to be positively beaming right now (and not in the sense of throwing that spell around), currently very happy with the turn of events. He doesn't even seem to care about the flames flaring up and causing the front side of his body to glow red hot. He glances down, then back up at Gladius, shrugging.
"Don't worry about the flames. They don't seem to have even hurt..." He then pauses, and remembers that most of the available trinkets are kind of weak. Thinking about it for half a second, he then smiles at her. "...Although some fire resistance to ensure that the fires don't actually start to hurt would be nice, come to think of it... I'll leave it up to you what you want to make or modify. If you're in need of an idea, well..." The Operative slowly takes off the Finale Amulet he's wearing and hands it over to Gladius, replacing the empty trinket slot with a Rabbit's Foot because why not. "Here. Finale Amulet. I've found myself appreciating the benefits of additional damage and armor when it counts. Given that the next major battle I might end up being involved in happens to be against a certain triangle with a high-damage attack, right now, I think I'll be finding a bit of life insurance more useful for the time being, so don't worry about my battle effectiveness suffering. Assuming I go into that particular battle in the first place." In the meantime, he expends the 3 skillpoints on improving his AGI by 1. Just a tad more, and he'll have maxed agility... He then patiently waits for a response from Gladius, smiling softly at her. Originally posted on 2016-10-17 13:46:00 -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. <TURN ONE-HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-THREE>
kek Teag takes a seat in the park, while his clone goes window shopping in the Temmie Superstore. There's plenty of nice things that you see; furniture, food stuffs (especially cookies, which the Temmies seem eager to sell away oh god the CPS is too high for mortal consumption), and of course, clothes. They're all Temmie-sized. You're also given a free Window, as that's what you were shopping for, obviously. You also inquire Glitch Temmie about an Immortemmity Potion. "Isn't the pun great? I might have one in stock, somewhere, if you're interested. If you're rich enough, I might even let you buy it..." Alt!Toast / Alt then quickly apologizes to Marron for what she would call her "incompetence", then fixes up Marron's Ribbon with the use of 1 Silkweed. There's a hint of a smile on her face as you give it to her. tc: Huh. It's actually pretty nice. tc: I would've done it myself, but, well... tc: The Cavern of OC's happened. God did that SUCK. tc: If you could enchant it, that'd be nice... She awkwardly faces away from you as she mutters a barely audible "thanks." You then equip the Rabbit's Foot, Counter, and Prayer, while also grabbing some items from Zone 2. Darkside then leaves the tiny house, restores his size, and heads to the Outer Wall. He also scans the Glitch Night Ghosts. Bestiary Entry get! You also look inside the small Alcove. It's a small room, with a single chest in the center. Delta then attempts to look for a minigame, and finds nothing of the such. However, you feel that a battle will be occuring soon. You also fix your hat. Chlorin then goes out of his way, using 4 Iron and 10 Wooden Planks, and manages to make two Explosive Ballista Arrows given the material's he's collected. Numbersoup then looks the Metal Debris, obtaining 8 Titanium worth of shards. You then also down an HP orb, and put 3 points into INT, while also switching spells and specials, and other things. Lyra then takes the Sciencey Blueprints... but then opts to put them back. They probably belong to Xavier... given that he's signed them. You do opt to examine them, though. Blueprints Next, you examine the Stasis Pod. It's broken, with glass shards covering the floor. It seems strange, though; there's various devices on the ceiling, none of them which seem to even inflict a state of stasis on whatever's inside it. It really seems more like a simple containment unit. You then create 112 Torches, and slowly proceed down the hallway, lighting it up by expending 30 of them. Nothing appears to kill you; not even when you head back down the hallway. At the end of the hallway is a locked door; maybe you should blow it open. Jon then re-equips his scatter, while Roxxanne talks with Xavier. ut: Oh, a Living Wood Wand. Interesting. ut: I've been intending to research more magical items for some time. ut: Fascinating. That'll do. One of the X-Sabers liberates the item from you, then flings it through a suddenly-open window in the House. ut: Very well. You will receive your assistance. The Sabers ready themselves as you walk into Bill Cipher's shop, purchasing Prayer and Infusion, swapping for the former. You also receive a 2-Gold discount due to dark 'arts' done by Lyra. Heh. You then proceed to engage in STRIFE with Bill, infuriating him! WHAT!? AFTER ALL 1'VE D0NE F0R Y0U!? He seems taken aghast, staring at you with massive intensity. He then laughs. Y0U 1MB1CLES! D0N'T Y0U KN0W H0W HARD 1T 1S T0 K1LL A SH0PKEEPER! G00D LUCK, GL1TTER! Y0U'LL NEEEEEED 1T! He laughs as he ascends into the air, cane at the ready. ![]() Battlefury, Siria, Insert, Numbersoup, Redstone, Jon, Lyra, Mabuz, Battlefury, and Toast instantly spring into the fight, along with four Temmie Swat members, and both X-Sabers. Nomble then expends a Green Sap Jar, 4 Titanium Ingots, 4 Glass Shards, 3 Wire Bits and a Vent Lid to upgrade the Tubas, adding the Song of Healing! Mabuz then downs an Orb of INT, which he created just now, before creating the Sap-Caked "Magitech' Helm with his cloned helmet, the Circuit Board, 20 Wire Bits, 2 Other Grave Fragments, 5 Pieces of Cardboard, and 2... Mana Circlets. The crafting succeeds, but you'll need Mythril to advance further. The Operative then +1's his AGI, passes his Finale Amulet to Chloe, swapping it to a Rabbit's Foot, conversing all the while. ga: Really? The flames didn't hurt? ga: You're just saying that, but thanks. It's reassuring to know you're alright. ga: But I'll get right on your new trinket! Just give me a second... [small][small]ga: I need to make a crafting post, don't I? Well, it shouldn't be too hard...[/small][/small] Chloe Does a Crafting ...Chloe eagerly runs over to you, piping hot amulet in hand. She pours a bottle of Waterdrank Water over the trinket to cool it down quickly, and hands it over. Fahrenheit Amulet obtained! ga: It might still be hot. Don't burn yourself! ga: Oh! I've been meaning to ask... ga: ...do you have a name? I know you call yourself the Operative, but that's not your actual name, is it? ga: I understand if you can't tell me, though. She then sits herself down on the steps of the MW Anti, taking a breather. She seems a bit drained. <BATTLE: BILL'S SHRINE, TURN ZERO> IT'S BILL GODDAMN CIPHER. Be VERY careful when engaging him in combat; he packs an instant kill, massive AoE damage, and other fun toys! Be sure to get tactics and buffs from your resident specialists... Hey, you bring yourself on!
Toast moves to J9 and uses Counter! (Could you update my special fill conditions? I feel like I'm going to be Refusing to Die a lot in this fight. Maybe a preemptive nerf to x15 would be appropriate.) Speaking of the number 15, is it just me or is there 3 more 15s on the Bloodstained Foil than last turn. i cant stop upgrading stuff pls send help D: Alt places the ribbon over a table, levitating it using her gravity stuffs. Adjacent to it, she begins making a helmet. She fashions it in the style of a Knight's Helmet, minus the visor. She uses a number of Titanium Ingots, due to her being able to create a stronger, but lighter helmet. Also, unlike the Knight's helmet, she makes the helmet with a series of interlocking and overlapping plates, linked at a hinge on the side. Once she's done that, Alt, once again using her hand as a mold, moltenifies down the Gold Ingot and 3 Titanium into a few shapes: a small, silvery-gold wing badge- or brooch-type thing and a pair of medium-sized wing shapes, which she fuses to the main piece, creating sort of a winged helmet. Alt takes the small pin, and places it on the edge of the ribbon, out of the way. Now the first part was done, now for the magic. She repeats an incantation of a girl who is long dead, yet hasn't even been born. Trean Erlos raebon! A tether of light blue energy connects the two items, and Alt!Toast's right arm glows. The helmet is drawn closer to the ribbon, and begins to fade. She repeats the incantation, the two items are drawn together as if magnetised, the helmet becomes completely ethereal. The pin rattles a little bit, and glows blue. With Marron's permission, she offers to demonstrate how to use it. You can summon the helmet by making this motion, Alt!Toast swings two fingers forward through the air to the left of her head, parallel to her ear. Kind of like a flight attendant showing passengers where the electromagnetic particle accelerators are.The helmet collapses out of the pin, overlaping plates unfolding and forming a helmet. ...and desummon it by doing the opposite. She demonstrates, doing the same action backwards. The helmet collapses down, then fades. She passes Marron the ribbon, which was now adorned with the pin, and continues, So, how about joining us? I don't think anyone here is still angry at you, and we could always use another ally- we'd be glad to have you. What d'you say? Assuming she agrees, she follows up with the following: ...hey, are you gonna eat that? Alt!Toast looks postively drained from this excercise. (OVERLOAD, 3) ~~ Meanwhile, SOUL steps back, and tries to use the laptop camera to take one of those perspective selfies where it's like you're eating/holding Uluru or whatever equivalent other peoples have. It does the good old 'oh look i'm holding the Monolith. Then it changes pose, and pretends to be leaning on the Monolith. Finally, SOUL puts the monolith between it's fingers, with the good old 'hey is it usually this small?' Hpwever, SOUL slips, and accidentally crushes the Monolith, which is now suddenly really small. Whoops. If that doesn't work, it tries the key in the Archive tower. BLEACH. Originally posted on 2016-10-18 02:25:00 |

"Well this should be easy."
Without a second thought, I hit a Glitch Night Ghost with Heal. Because it's weak to light, it deals heavy damage. If possible, make my crits proc with this so I can instagib it. With Heal. I'd do more damage with Heal instead of Night Meld. Thanks, light weakness. I mean, I'm not going to the bill fight, am I? Naaaah, I'd be useless pretty much, and I kind of want to do my own thing. This might be fitting for the bill fight. OH RIGHT. YOU HAVE 5 MOVEMENT GENIUS. PUT THAT TO GOOD USE. Chlorin instead moves to I13 and Novakid Hadoukens the Bill Banner on L13. Who said you have to be a melee character to use Fireball? Chlorin then retreats to G13. Originally posted on 2016-10-18 03:57:00 -------------------- You are already dead.

OK, I have the plan. It's less complicated than the Ayaze fight plan, at least to start, BUT the big rule for the whole fight is this: If you get in Range 3 of Bill without a way to save yourself and he didn't teleport to you, we will mock you. The other big one is to stay out of the cardinal and diagonal directions Bill is in if at all possible.
@Temmie Swat 2: Move to H3, use Fix Terrain on the Shattered Rune on I2. @Temmie Swat 4: Move to H13, use Fix Terrain on the Shattered Rune on I14. @Fire users: Burn the banners before they do something stupid. @Toast: Rev up. Preferrably with fire, in case you can't reach Bill. @Everyone: Attack Bill or get ready to attack bill. Also, move up and spread out. If you have Autorevives and no real decent attack ability or chance to attack, start applying them to the people who do. I move to J10, smack bill in the face with Scalebrine, and back off to H11. The Operative smiles and utters a quiet thanks to Gladius when she hands him the Farenheit Amulet, and decides to immediately swap out the Rabbit's Foot to wear that instead. True to what he said, his body appears to have taken very little actual damage from heat exposure, aside from maybe some minor glowing, which cools off fairly quickly with time. He smiles faintly at her once again.
"Heh. Real talk, here, I made sure to install a slightly less crippling way to tell when I've sustained damage. If I don't get physically damaged by something, it doesn't hurt. Could probably nap comfortably on a bed of nails, so long as they don't piece the armored plating." Then, however, she brings up the topic of his name. He flinches a little, purely instinctively, but manages to not let his discomfort show too strongly, hiding it by crouching to sit down beside Gladius. "...My name... yes, I have one. Unfortunately, I don't happen to like my name too much... it reminds me of my past. Back when I wasn't in a body that felt right... and, of course, other issues were present around that time. I'd prefer not to remember it, just in case one day, I wake up and all of this..." He gestures to his own body, the armor plating moving away a little to expose the circuitry beneath it. "...Well, let's just say, long ago, I was human. Not sure how long it's been since I've been augmented, but I don't care either. What matters is the present. I'm surprised I still even remember my name, what with how long it's been since I used it. I'll tell you if you really want to know, since it's only fair, as uncomfortable as I feel with anything that reminds me of what I used to be..." He pauses. "You alright? You seem a bit tired from that crafting there... Feel free to take a rest if you need to. Well, assuming there's a bed somewhere in this ship anyway... Haven't seen any, but ya never know. I, meanwhile, plan on investigating some other business, since I'm probably not needed over at the battle against the triangle at the moment." He then gets up, offering a hand up to Chloe if she feels like standing up, and would accompany her to wherever would be a better place to rest in the ship if she wants to head there. Then, once she's comfortable with the situation, he decides to head off to The Bonfire, stopping as he notices the bloodstains. His expression... That's the expression of somebody who's anticipating a battle. Picking up the white flame if possible, he then heads towards the figures, katana at the ready. Possibly a bit late for tactics, but a reckon we should get the Bonfire fight going at the same time. I would personally reccomend people with some lightning resistance (or Operative-esq. synergy), and a fair bir of HP and mobility- but not necessarily all of those. And @sunnyau, you need to tell Ire what you're programming onto the circuit board. You just keep telling him how you're going to do it... EDIT: And another thing, for everyone in the Bill fight who has prayer or a similar spell: don't remove Providence immediately after it's applied. Wait for Bill to use Providence's Glare. It both conserves your mana, and reduces the damage that people take. Oblivion should be removed though, generally. Originally posted on 2016-10-19 03:54:00 |
