Mabuz decides to prepare himself before going to the Creature Test Chamber. Using his 3 of his 4 Skill Points, he gives himself +1 to INT. The last one is put into HP to increase his MHP by two.

He will also expend a Shop Coupon to clone himself a Sap-Soaked Helm, which he will promptly equip in place of his Mana Circlet.

After that, he moves to the Creature Test Chamber in preparation of the impending encounter.

Alt!Toast speaks to Ette. I'm sorry that you had to see that. Redstone had inadvertently lost the Temmie's trust in us, so they saw it fit to punish him for it. He's made a lot of terrible decisions during his time with us... but I'm not sure if it was worth this. Please try not to judge all of us for this- we're not all like that.

Alt!Toast remains silent for a few moments, before getting up. I'm gonna go talk to Gladius. You can come too, if you're feeling okay.

She walks down to the airship, and calls through the door. Gladius, are you there? It's Toast. I'm not trying to hurt Redstone, or you. I never wanted this to happen.

She continues.

I'm not here to try and justify their actions. If you can't forgive them for this, that's fine- I'm not asking you to. I just want to make sure you and Redstone are okay.

If she is outside, she raises her voice just a little.

The Operative quickly attacks Arrow-kun number 4, questions his ability to throw projectiles through walls... then, notices the situation going down over at the MW Anti. He just stares at the ship. While he personally agreed to Redstone's less-than-stellar fate, he didn't take part in the actual murder itself... perhaps, that might help. So he picks up a phone.

The phone inside the MW Anti goes off, ringing incessantly until it is picked up by Gladius, whenever she feels like doing so. Once she has done... there's an awkward silence at the other end, until The Operative coughs to let her know he's there. He then speaks.

"...I'm not going to try to justify the actions of anybody today. I'm just going to straight-up tell you exactly what the situation was, without any attempts to hide the truth. To put it in short, Redstone's repeated instances of... extreme lack of self-preservation and rational thinking have lead to him causing some problems for the group. For a more detailed explanation..."

"I have heard, from an assassin who was here before I arrived, that he was responsible for a sticky situation early on, when he provoked a horde of spiders into aggressing with the party at the time, resulting in massive loss of Spider lives. While I cannot verify that particular instance for certain, there is no reason for that particular assassin to lie to me. We work together, after all. Perhaps the Spider who tags along with us might know something about it... If it did genuinely happen, then that particular scenario alone would peg him as somebody who is... less than helpful to have around."

His voice begins to crack a little, along with his emotionless facade. Seems he's a bit upset.

The Operative struggles hard to so much as be able to think of the next word, let alone say it. It just... isn't something he was supposed to do, and the sheer stress on his mechanical parts is almost too much for them to take. But, once he does say it... well, there's a surprising level of emotion conveyed in what he did manage to say.

...Dead silence at the Operative's end of the phone results, as he waits for a reply.

<TURN ONE-HUNDRED AND SIXTY-NINE>

Teag then tries to talk with the Abandoned again, but it seems that the voice is gone. How sad. He then opts to simply grab the Gasterblaster Tome out of the Secretary's hands, the white fading off of it as it changes hands. Teag then runs back through the forest, leaving the Secretary there dumbfounded. Teag then decides to learn Gasterblaste-

...you can't make out the writing in the tome. It's distinctively messy, and temmie-like. Gasterblaster Tome added to inventory! Darkside then moves east of the Cavern of OC's, moving through the Escape Pod's former location. He then falls straight off of Splinter Drift finds himself right on the edge of Splinter Drift. Several platforms jut out of the side of the island, while some strange ghostly creatures hover not far from the wall. They seem to be guarding the "northern" route. Roxxanne then feeds ahigh-quality rip into the Abandoned.

Insert then attempts to grapple up again to the Spire Watchtower. Didn't this fail last time...? Somehow, you manage to succeed this time, and ascend the Spire Watchtower. You then obtain the Heart Canister! It promptly breaks into two HP Orbs. Pi then runs around and loots some dead Redstone Corpses. They fade moments after you pick them up, as players normally do. Numbersoup then moves to Zone 2 and talks to the Boxhead Guy.

...he promptly teleports away, now standing behind you. He's wearing a fancy suit, as well as a monocle and top hat. He glares at you, and laughs. He then puffs into a pipe he's suddenly materialized, talking moments later.

Blam suddenly vanishes from sight, a burst of purple light signalling his absence. Jon then attempts to aggress Origin Skeletron Prime, but suddenly decides that it'd be a bad idea. Sunny then crafts together a few Wire Bits (3) to make a Circuit Board. That was easy. Siria then enters the Transmission Hub bout, while Numbersoup, Mabuz, and both Oriko's decide too, that engaging Prime is a bad idea. Mabuz then clones and equips a Sap Soaked Helmet with a Cipher Shop Coupon, and raises his MHP and INT using some skill points.

Toast then talks with Ette. She nods slowly. It seems like she'll still follow you; she's just a bit scared. As per request from the Discord, you don't go over to talk with Gladius, while The Operative spends a long while on the phone with Gladius.

It takes a few attempts to get hold of her. She's quiet throughout the entirety of your speech. When she does start speaking, her voice is quiet and shaky...

ga: I-I-I can forgive you, at least...
ga: I can also... barely comprehend why you murdered Redstone. Several times.
ga: Death is an awful thing. For somebody to experience it so many times, at the hands of those he called his allies...

She remains silent for some time.

ga: I'll come back out of the ship... when I'm ready.
ga: Just please get you and your allies to promise me one thing.
ga: T-That nothing like this will ever happen, ever again.
ga: Promise me that one thing.
ga: Then... maybe I'll be able to forgive the rest of you.

She stutters for a few seconds. The crackling of flames from her body intensifies for a moment.

SOUL moves two areas south, then two areas east. It finds a generator of sorts. How interesting. It also passed by a statue of Bill. Then, via usage of scrying, it examines the cracks. They make up most of the sky in that zone, flashing repeatedly through red, yellow, pink, rose, red again, then maroon. How interesting.

@Lyra: Fear the Arrow-Kun you are adjacent to. Not a big deal if you don't, though, or it just dies. I'll wait for your attack on this much, then go.

I immediately rush up to G8. Now, I do the following:
1: Attack Ayaze, restraining from Lethal.
2a: If Ayaze is down to under 3 HP, I use Aura of Smooth, nailing Ayaze and the Arrow-Kun as it hits in Splash 1 around me-I then use my free Item action to feed her a cake, and back up to D7 via retreat.
2b: If Ayaze is above 3 HP, I attack again, restraining from lethal.
3a: If I have just used Aura of Smooth on Ayaze (which is to say, I was successful because at 3 HP I cannot fail the roll at that HP value or below) and backed up to D7, I attack the Abandoned and Retreat to G16, thanks to boosters.
3b: If Ayaze is under 3 HP and I haven't used Aura of Smooth, I do so and feed the Cake to her afterwards, then Retreat to D9.
3c: If Ayaze is above 3 HP I attack again, restraining from Lethal. I then back up to D9.

@Toast: Shifting Sands the Thymebeat Speaker adjacent to the Ice Pillars. We just need it gone, fast.

@Everyone else: If you can attack the Abandoned, then by all means do so.

@Rip: We'll default to that as Grand seems to be the best option right now, but we need a rip that now Triggers TWO things. I suggest SHACK/STYLE if at all possible, but anything works as long as it does.

Redstone starts coughing very hard. So hard, in fact, that he coughs out his HP Orb. He then starts crying blue liquid, which then burst through his whole body. Unspeakable things happen to his body, including 20 exorcisms, flailing limbs, and basically everything turning the wrong way. Redstone finally gets to end his suffering with a death with his head halfway through his 21st exorcism. He does not respawn, however. He simply poofs, and all his gear is automatically vented into the inventory.

A yellow Novakid respawns near where Redstone perma-died.

Folks, I think it's time for a respec, both in personality and build.

Chlorin retrieves 4 Titanium Bars, melting 1 down into the chamber, and then melting the rest into the other parts/search them up on google. He then takes 1 Wooden Plank and carves it into the handle. He then assembles them. They all click together instead of having to use nails and bolts to make them stay together.

Chlorin gives the revolver a test shake. It stays together.

Titanium Revolver

(7-10) Damage, 3 Range, 1 Retreat (RANGED) Weapon Skill: Quick Shot. Shoot someone at Range 2 for (4-5) Damage. You can still move if you haven't before.

SOUL flicks the generator off, then moves to The Lone Console, where it inputs RYPRRM into the terminal, or any variant of those letters, keeping the order intact. It then asks if the secretaries in the Decent could watch the Blue Herring, stating that it's actually a variant of SCP-173 and may (re?)kill us all if we look away. SOUL then states that it will be able transform 'SCP-173' into a normal fish if they watch it carefully and don't pay any attention whatsoever to SOUL for about 30-45 seconds.

SOUL places the Blue Herring down in front of them, then stands between AC and the Monolith. It taps AC on the shoulder, stands back and smoke-dodges a inevitable explosions until the Monolith is exploded. Once it has been exploded, SOUL calls out to the Secretaries that the fish is safe now, and grabs it while they deal with AC.

SOUL THEN GOES TO THE BRAIN BLEACH ARCHIVES FIRES THE KEY AT THE TARGET. HOW DID I NOT SEE THAT ALREADY.

She then moves to F4, uses Shifting Sands on the Thymebent Speaker at E9, before soaring down to D11. The Abandoned is lacerated, and Toast moves to G12 with her Retreat (2, not 1).

Alt!Toast assures Ette that such violence will never again happen to a party member- including her and Marron. She then takes a day in the inventory. Alt!Toast moves to the Testing Facility, and places a tight net over herself and pins it to the ground. She then, quite simply, uses Shifting Sands on the closest drone, trapping it beneath the net. She then, even more simply, places it in the inventory.

Alt!Toast smelts 3 Durasteel Ingots into a mold-shape (okay seriously is it mould or mold) with an indent, similar to the one on her back, which holds (the?) Pit Lord. She then tears apart the two Observation Drones, and digs into the gravcore material within (they would hopefully give 1 Gravcore Ore each (along with some other stuff, presumably), since they would probably be about the same size as the gold hunk). She melts down what she assumes to be 3 Gravcore Ore into a pendant-esq. shape, which she embeds into the mould-shape, which she seals to the front of the armor. Due to less strain on the wings from the armor weight, she re-inherits the +1 AGI from the Pit Lord.

Prime!Toast will gain this benefit after she leaves the fight she is in.

Wow, first ever Perma-Death in this game because what you did I would even add a few suggestions on DTGCAH, Roxxanne sends Redstone into a death montage, Redstone died a lot for nothing and Skill Points loss. Oh I might even add more stuff into this.
