Toast uses Shifting Sands on Teag, then Shifting Sands on the Operative. She then moves to
I was wondering if you could do me a favour. I was just wondering if you could... NERF THIS. Toast performs a 2x CORE COMBOB by, first of all, attacking the core, and, second of all, attacking the core after being Melody'd. This causes a 3X CORE KILL COMBOB. The nanobots are downed, I can't do anything! But wouldn't it be a shame if I could heal back all that damage the Golem has and hurt it at the same time? ...Oh, wait... =TURN ONE-HUNDRED AND FIFTY-THREE=
You still haven't completely sweeped the desert. Just gonna throw that out there... Roxxanne buys a The team then moves in on the Nightmare's Core... =BATTLE: THE NIGHTMARE, TURN FIFTEEN= It's over. The Nightmare has finally fallen. As the Stand-In Dreamer slowly splits in two, Zetta delivers perhaps the largest death-stare of a lifetime to Toast. With the loss of the Stand-In Dreamer, the entire ship has lost stability; the complex crystalline arrangements and other materials that made up the ship are starting to give way, entropic sparks flying as everything crumbles. Before you can make a move to escape, the Nightmare fades from your vision; the MW Antidisestablishmentarianism has activated its emergency escape protocol. From the relative safety of the ship, everyone watches the Nightmare crumble. What wasn't blown to shreds in the earlier Subcore explosions begins to either dissolve, or simply fall off into the endless gravitational abyss below, getting torn to bits by the sheer awesome power of gravity. With one final groan, the Nightmare lets off one final explosion, the blast wave nearly disabling the Anti. However, when the smoke clears, in the air still is Zetta, flying under his own power. While his stone surface is cracked and damaged, he's still fully capable of function. Still staring at you, he lets off a roar that only a Skykraken can, and moves in to- cc: nope nope nope cc: ze(t)(t)a. pull back. ge(t) (t)o (t)he moun(t)ain. Zetta halts his advance. Chaos continues speaking, a sense of disappointment in his voice. cc: we need (t)o fall ba©k! cc: don'(t) worry abou(t) wha(t) (t)hey do; nigh(t)mare moun(t)ain has more (t)han enough firepower (t)o hold (t)hem off. cc: geez was (t)he nigh(t)mare disappoin(t)ing cc: all (t)ha(t) hype a©ross a few games, and i(t) ge(t)s wiped in a mere fif(t)een (t)urns. sigh. Zetta glances back at Nightmare Mountain. He then turns towards the MW Antidisestablishmentarianism. cu: ©haos, don't worry about that iteration of the Nightmare's performance at all. cu: We clearly hadn't enough firepower, but I have the blueprints and alchemical codes for another ship that we can easily merge with the Nightmare, to say nothing of the contacts we already possess. cu: And this disregards that this Nightmare was incomplete anyways. No Throne Launchers or such. cu: We'll need money for sturdier Crystal Cannons if we opt to keep them as they are, but other than that, I believe we've found a formula that works against them very well-and now is just fine-tooling it to exploit. He turns to the Descendants. Or, rather, a ragtag group of adventurers as there's no Godmodder in Chaos's mindscape at all. cu: You punks. Let's see you traverse that hellish realm of darkest desire that is Nightmare Mountain! cu: Poetic, I know, but shut up. If you don't die there, me and ©haos will finish you off for sure, and then I get ALL THE SOULS, ©haos gets his big chance, and the infamous mass-murderers that are the Descendants will be removed of a vast swath of their number to the joy of the Council of Nine. cu: Best part is, you don't have a choice but to walk to certain doom! cu: You don't have a way to nerf me, and the Dreamer has restrained my power too-to a lesser extent than yours but enough to matter! If it would be destroyed, then I would have my near-total control of the mental realms restored, making me effectively omnipotent! In other words... Zetta's Skykraken form splits into a grin that stretches straight off the skykracken body itself and into the sky. cu: There is no chance of victory! You've already lost! It's lose now or lose later! Ahahaha! cu: FracturedEye, you liar, may you burn in hell-or rather, the Hollow-for giving these lunatic fools false hopes! Zetta's mass suddenly shrinks into his regular base form, the smug-looking magician-like guy a few of you have come to loathe, before flying away in an Orchid streak to, presumably, the very location. With the skies clear of Zetta, Gladius, after a moment of catching her breath, pilots the ship to Nightmare Mountain's base. ga: Can't believe we survived that, holy gorilla. Great work, everyone! ga: Anyway, back to the situation at hand... ga: Sadly for us, Chaos has some crazy anti-air defenses near the peak of Nightmare Mountain. We'll need to land at the base and work our way up the mountain. ga: Then, once we're there; who knows? ga: I could try and fix the Mindscape with a reboot, you guys could finally leave the premises... ga: I just hope we make it before anything else goes awry... The MW Antidisestablishmentarianism arrives at the foot of Nightmare Mountain, as Gladius stated earlier. The massive peaks of Nightmare Mountain loom ahead; five in total, the central peak rising far above the others. The ever-present beam of light from the Dreamer erupts from the central peak, while fonts of elemental energy flow from out of the four other peaks, flowing inward. Then, touchdown happens. ga: Hello everyone, and welcome to Nightmare Mountain! ga: The local time is... exactly the same as it was before. ga: We hope you enjoyed your flight on the MW Antidisestablishmentarianism! The landing area, while generically smooth and free from protrusions, consists of rough very-dark brown stone. Magma pours out of various cracks and gushes in the landscape, some of it flowing right off the mountain and into the void below. Each and every one of you feel as if you're being watched; the end of this trial is at hand... Or perhaps, this world. >Begin Chapter 4: Fallen Memories. ...waves of entropy suddenly rip through the skies! You feel distinctly different. Perhaps you should check your Character Sheets; you have a feeling the world just got updated. Anyway, the game is back to the traditional exploration segment! For some reason, you're yet to receive the Zone 3 Foe Rush orb. Perhaps some exploration would yield in you finding it? Be careful as you ascend; and maybe question as to why it's somewhat linear this time around... Originally posted on 2016-09-01 00:54:00 -------------------- |

OK, everyone! It's time for CHYG, and with it some build shakeups! Consumer, now would be the time to take Aaron's build.
"...Wait, he can't possibly-" Roxxanne briefly goes pale as a sudden realization hits her. The deal back at the Terraria wars was that Roxxanne worked for Zetta with Alpha and in exchange she'd get the Alchemiter slots to create her ship...But those were his slots in the end. Which meant that he had all the codes, every last one. "Oh gorilla no, the Nidhogg! Fuck, I forgot that he had access to the codes! I mean, it would take a hell of a lot of Grist without the Descendancy thing but I think his powers and his SBURB-based background cover that...Augh! No! This is bad! OK, new plan. After we get out of here-and we will!- We are going to make ABSOLUTELY sure the Nightmare never ever ever comes to full fruition, ever, and while I normally advocate for a small bodycount, I think we can declare Zetta as absolutely refusing to change his murderous habits and thus due for killing for good, right? Oh, who cares, almost all of you would do that anyways-but now it's official! I take this time to request a description of the Zettastone from our lovely FracturedEye. In any case, I'mma shake up my build. Excuse me while I shift stuff around. Second, SPC. I remove both of my allocated SPC Orbs there and put both points into STR, giving me a total of STR 3 and thus +1 DMG. This leaves me with 2 SPC (1 SPC Orb). With that done, I proceed to shift 12 Skillpoints from AGI, leaving me with 8 total points in AGI. I give 9 of these to INT to bump it up to 6, while I shift the rest into MP. Finally, I ditch the Mana Circlet for the Toreador Tophat, and the Glass Dagger for Scaleform. Because it could give me +1 Skill temporarily, I assign Icebolt to my 3rd slot (in place of Descendant) and use the unofficial '4th' slot to store in Enchant Weapon: Oh, and I nick the last HP orb. I'm keeping the SPC orb for now. New build: HP: 26 (+1 from HP Orb) MP: 16 (+2 from INT bonus, +1 from Orb) STR: 33 AGI: 8 INT: 6 SPC: 2 (+1 from SPC Orb) W: Scaleform H: Toreador Tophat A: True Mage Robes T: Jaggi Fang OK, ignore this. I'm stupid and insane and in accordance with that I will do something dumb. Because I know how this works I will shift my skillpoints afterwards back to this build, don't worry. I'm not intending to stay Mage forever and I'm doing it for exactly one reason. I remove all the points from all of the stats, a total of 62 if my calculations are correct. I pluck the INT orb that Piono is not using because Aaron isn't a thing, and take the Toreador Tophat. I now have a base INT, counting Items, of 3. With that, I proceed to stuff 27 skillpoints into INT to bring it up to twelve, leaving me with 35. With 35 left, I dump 30 into SPC, which I still have an orb for, to get a total of twelve there too. I proceed to put 3 into AGI so I still have MOVE and 2 into MP, bringing me up to a total of 15. I still take Scaleform, but with this build I now have 4 stable skillslots. I switch Silence for Dogsong and Descendant for Icebolt, keeping Melody, and add Turn() to the 4th. With the potential 5th from, say, Staff Scaleform, I slide in Enchant Weapon: Ice. All that follows is something I take full responsibility for. I still snag the last HP orb. Stats: HP: 18 (+1 from HP Orb) MP: 15 (+2 from INT bonus, +1 MP from Orb) STR: 0 AGI: 2 INT: 12 (+1 from INT Orb) SPC: 12 (+1 from SPC Orb) W: Scaleform H: Toreador Tophat A: True Mage Robes T: Jaggi Fang Spells: Icebolt Dogsong Melody Turn() (Enchant Weapon: Ice) Sanity levels: negative. "...
"Look at him, attempting to mock us. It's soooo adorable. What, you think I'm afraid of the both of you? No. I'm not. I don't think the others are either. That fight was a cakewalk. Get a real ship and fight us again. And lose again. Because we're just better than you. Deal with it." I throw my skill points into SPC. Anyway, now that TemsFour/Two ultimately ended up being useless to me in the long run, I decide to swap it out for Augment. This is actually really good for me, because I can give two turns of Crit augments as I apply my skillpoints to SPC. Originally posted on 2016-09-01 03:36:00 -------------------- "...I will aid them. I firstly swap around my special to the 'triggered on demand' one I made in the Discussion Thread.
Secondly... I take a point out of AGI and move it into SPC, then dump 6 skillpoints into SPC. This leaves me with 4 SPC and 4 AGI. Thirdly, I declare a tentative plan to upgrade my weapon once again, pending having the funds allocated for Mythril: combine either Joy or a pair of Twin Pistols with Siria's sniper rifle to get a dual-mode weapon. Fourthly, I declare another tentative plan to swap around my Scanner MK2 to gibe +1 SPC instead of +1 INT, with lots of crafting. I immediately INGREDIENTS: 5 Durasteel, 15 Titanium, 1 Gold Ingot, 10 Glass Shards, Joy, "Longbow" Experimental Mass Driver. PROCEDURE: Siria grabs Joy and examines the pistols closely, then tosses them into a crucible heated to 4,000 Fahrenheit and melts them to slag and scrap. She then telekinetically lifts the liquid from the crucible, shapes it into a ball, and tosses the Titanium into the crucible. The rifle is raised into the air and completely disassembled, parts splaying out everywhere in a powerful telekinetic field. Most of the parts are heated to white heat and then reshaped with telekinetic force as new parts are added, cast from the molten titanium. The molten Joy, all traces of its previous form completely destroyed, is merged with several core parts from the former mass driver before a Gold Ingot is grabbed from the inventory and melted down to create runes over the top of the ball. The weapon-ball is inscribed with countless burning golden runes representing transformation between two disparate states, before it slams into the center of the pattern of new parts and a web of power spreads out for it. Still-hot parts click into place at blinding speed, the durasteel ingots instantly melting into a flurry of molten metal that slams into the framework, arranging itself as though in response to an otherworldly will. The weapon glows with a blinding flash of light as the final touches are made by the rudimentary intelligence of the core orb, before settling down into floating at perfect eye-height. As almost an afterthought, the glass shards reshape themselves into a perfect scope for the extended sniper rifle. The weapon clicks suddenly, as though attempting to change its form in some way, but the attempt dies down after a second. I guess it doesn't have the power. Perhaps an upgrade...? Widow's Kiss (unpowered) crafted! This weapon holds untapped potential, but will require a bar of Mythril to unlock it -- this is merely a shell by comparison. Upon the use of a bar of Mythril, the weapon will gain transforming abilities and more than a bit of a buff -- as it is now, it's no more than one half of the Overwatch reference that it will eventually be. Siria equips it immediately. Stats: More or less the same as the old weapon that it was, perhaps with a buff to 8-8 damage. Upon the use of a bar of Mythril to fully unlock its potential, it will gain the ability to transform to a state mimicking the Dual Pistols' stats, with the same rapid-fire (and both of its shots affected by STR) In sniper form, it has the same Greater Focus ability as it did before. Feel free to buff if you want to, Ire, but keep in mind this is a weapon that I plan to 'unlock' with Mythril later on. <ACTIVATING HYBRID NARRATION....> <HYBRID NARRATION MODE CHOSEN.> >Healerbot: Victory dance. You start respecing. >I said victory dance. "No+ ye+." <RESPEC-OS BOOTING UP...> 3 skill points from END OF CHAPTER 3 -> 1 SPC. It's not useless anymore. Huzzah. Weapon Switch: Syringe Minigun. Now I'm even less useless at 0 MP. Trinket Switch: Computerized Aimbot Sight. Sunny's AFK, so this succeeds. Helmet Switch: Still the Dogstack. Every single percent of dog on death counts. Skill Switch: Healmore is unchanged. Skill Switch: Beam for TemsTwo. "Another one." - DJ Khaled Skill Switch: Potential empty slot given by the Ubercannon for... A NEW SKILL HAS JOINED THE ROSTER. Inversion 10 MP Effect: Range 2, turns an enemy's resistances into weaknesses, and vice versa for 1 turn. Inverted resistances are halved (when turned into weaknesses) for elites, and divided by 4 for bosses. Bonuses: (+1 range at 4 INT) (+1 duration at 12 INT) (affected elite resistances are 2/3 and affected boss resistances are 1/3 at 6 SPC) (affected elite resistances are fully utilized and affected boss resistances are 1/2 at 12 SPC) "Okay, now we do the victory dance." -one victory dance later- >Healerbot: Play some cutscenes of the Terrarian Godmodding War. You hear some important words at some parts. "Project Eclipse." You let it sink in for a while. >Healerbot: PANIC MODE. You start crafting. >I SAID PANIC MODE. "Af+er I craf+." INPUT: 1x Syringe Minigun 6x Hollowed Bark 15x Titanium Ingots 4x Durasteel Ingots 1x Hallowed Bar 2x Greater Healing Potions 1x Green Orb PROCESS: Healerbot grabs the Syringe Minigun. Then it buys a furnace, and a Weak Infusion Altar from a conveniently-placed "everything is the price of an air molecule" store. It then drops the Durasteel, the Titanium, and the Hallowed Bar into the furnace. Healerbot then pours the Greater Healing Potions into the mixture, then cracks the Green Orb like an egg, dropping its pure healing essence into the mix, then finally throws the Green Orb shell away. It starts mixing the resulting mixture with a giant spoon. Of doom. From the popular incremental game Candy Box 2. It gradually mixes more furiously, until the mixture's color is pure. It starts pouring the alloy into an ingot mold set, also acquired from said store. Wow. They really have everything there. It then puts the alloy and Hollowed Bark into the Infusion Altar, combining their essences into one better alloy. The Minigun crackles with red healing sparks, and gravitates slowly towards the smelter. Healerbot then melts the alloy ingots into metallic fluid again, then puts it into a convenient Syringe Minigun-shaped mold. I'm not even going to ask how they get these or how they know we need these. You know what time it is. It's Altar time again. The Syringe Minigun is fused into the Alloy Minigun by means of Infusion Altar, creating a greater weapon than before. It's larger. It's harder-hitting. It's more effective at healing. It's the Syringe Ubercannon. A 12-barrel minigun inscripted with the Healcomm logo on its sides. OUTPUT: Syringe Ubercannon: ?-? damage, ? range, ? retreat. (RANGED) Weapon Passive: Infused Crusader Rounds (Gives holder 1 spell extra slot and ? extra max HP. Attacks from this weapon can heal allies. ? damage reduction when hitting enemies.) Healerbot equips this new weapon. >Okay, now we panic. "We're gorillaed." >I have a request. On the subject of Durasteel, while we do have 20 ingots, those ingots are very valuable. Lower the amount that you're going to use to about 2,3 or 4. Also, the HP Orb. Two words: PLEASE DON'T.
