Healerbot equips the Rallying Blade, which has a really-good Heartharena ranking of 87! Insert then swaps Fireball for Zillycharm. Given the lack of players posting in DTE, it suddenly crashes! The Encryption fully restores it's HP. Darkside then adds new requests to the Walkthrough. Teag attempts Patent Infringement on Bill Cipher's top-quality Jarate, causing the jars of piss he filled to explode in his face. This does nothing but destroy the jars. He also attempts to stuff a Lesser Memory Orb into the Hard-Light Projector, which... works. A projection appears of the memory...

There is a picture of Chaos sitting down in-front of a television. He leans forward, and pops in a tape he found lying around. Next to him is a stack of similar-looking tapes. The video then begins to play. A Temmie (presumably Glitch Temmie) is on the screen, wearing a square academic cap and holding a pointer.

TEMMIE'S INSTRUCTIONAL TAPES [053]: DENIZENS OF THE MINDSCAPE

h0i! Welcome back to Temmie's Instructional Tapes, edutainment tapes for the up-and-coming tems for the glory of the tem empire. As you probably know, there are three main types of Denizens in the mindscape. That would be:
-Memories
-Creations
-Outsiders

Memories are as the title implies; memory orbs given life to prowl around the mindscape. They're by far the most common, with some important figures in the Mindscape like the deceased Lord Helix and Dome being some of the most prominent memories.

Creations are also as the title implies; creations of Chaos or others either built by hand, or willed into existence. These tend to be war machines, but some of them were made for recreation (ex: OC's), labor (ex: Chaos Drones), or transport. (ex: Chaos Dropships)

Outsiders are things that were simply pulled in from the outside. These could be the Descendants Chaos is planning to murder, forced intrusions by Godmodders or Herobrine, or anything that simply implants itself in the Mindscape.

While there are a few cases of creatures that don't fit into any categories (ex: outside programs) and those that fit into multiple categories (ex: anarchistsCreation), they're mostly irrelevant. Now, I know what you're thinking. "Tem Temmie, why are we learning about these denizens?" Well, here at the tem empire, we produce a variety of goods to cater to each category of denizen, like the-

Meanwhile, on the Temmie Workship, Gladius converses with Roxxanne...

In other news, thinking of adding official weapon switch / spell switch rules for the CHYG update: Switching weapons, equipment or spells mid-battle takes a full action, without moving / attacking. Thoughts?

=BATTLE: THE NIGHTMARE, TURN SEVEN=
The Determination Extractor is out, as well as Ware Entities 8 and 10! Subcore 1 was also proc'd, spawning a wave of "statues"; it looks like they're rather durable, but can't really move. Just be careful when the lights die after your moves this turn.

ALSO TAKE NOTE OF THING'S POSITIONS, HINT HINT.

Roxxanne suddenly gets her voice back; True Silence is gone! Anyway, just keep on moving, and be VERY careful about those statues...

Both the Haxors and the Rays are weak to Lightning, so I might hang about to increase their DEAD Stat. Speaking of lightning damage, you might want to get over here, Operative.


If modpack doesn't act, he moves down to F15 and shoots the Zetta Tentacle. He then uses retreat to teleport back to the ship.

Toast moonwalks to F12 and attacks the chaos haxor. Assuming it dies, she then shuffles back E11 and attacks the Zetta Tentacle. If this killed it also, Toast breakdances over C13 (E11 -> D12 -> C13), attacks the Chaos Saber, and moves to E12. Phew. Chainsaw_rampage.gif

If she can't attack the statues, she instead attacks the Zetta Tentacle.

If she doesn't kill the Zetta tentacle either time, she moves to F12.

If it WAS flirting, the Chaos Anti Flirt OS would fire a gigantic, body-obliterating laser from orbit, punching the flirter straight through the surface of the mindscape, and send them right into the Hollow, where the Secretaries would divide that flirter to death while the flirter is used as a baseball in a really competitive game of buttball.

After that, they be tossed directly into the Hollowed Temple, forced through a gauntlet that's suspiciously similar to Enter the Gungeon, and murdered multiple times over by sharks and circles with arms. Why circles with arms? Because I can't draw graphics. In the off-chance they survive that, they'd need to survive an epic bullet-hell boss fight with all the plot details, as you fight-

@Ire: To be blunt, I think the reason why so few people were interested in DTE was because nobody really expected it to be a main-style DTG strife thing. Heck, I didn't expect it at all! Seriously!
Also they all saw my first attack get no-selled thanks to an immunity or two, and maybe immediately turned their back. Or maybe everyone thought it wasn't worth it at this point, Idunno. SOMEONE fill me in on that, please.
The reason I ditched was because I expended my creative energy completely, and to have an attack like that no-selled really hits hard and demotivates you completely.
So yeah. Take that as you will, but that was likely never the best idea. It was a formula that was done many times before (the standard DtG formula w/ vulnerable players) with no real satisfactory reward for completion (Just another item in the inventory) and lots of punishment for failing (dying in the Nightmare Fight; a very important fight, mind), let's be honest.
So that's my take on it. Feel free to disagree. Or agree. Or add. Or subtract. Or multiply. Or divide. Or be a secretary and do math wizardry. Or do nothing. Your choice.

@Tazz: I feel like a similar thing happened in DtE; the boss that was summoned before everyone ditched could do, what, like, 20 player damage in one shot? That certainly wasn't gonna get people playing, that's for sure. It's basically a ton of uncontrollable risk for so little reward (get temmie help, only to be trapped on a near-death ship in an important battle no less; defeat a boss that deals 20 damage to players for progress towards some item that gives crits but has a chance to be deleted) and so much punishment for failing that it's impractical to continue (Loss of morality core Gladius and temmie allies, as well as a few of our own; death in DtE means death in an important main game fight). I feel like something's up... and it ain't good.

ANYWAY...

D.T.1 moves to (B2).
#2 moves to (D2).
#3 moves to (C2).
I move to (E5), and guard.
I also wolf down that STR orb.

Why do I feel like this is a good idea? It's a good defensive/supporting position. Best to take a position where I could easily support my allies while also being close enough to help defend the core. That's kinda what I've been doing all this time.

Welp, glad True silence is over. Hopefully the Gap Breaches can be repaired like any other. Also, way to make pretty much almost the entire point of cheesing the fight (if even that) with 10 pretty much more of a punishment, Ire. Really like that 100 Hull damage that probably was going to be inflicted because of 10 draining ship HP all at once, if not more than what 10 would have done, totally rending the point of fighting it at all moot if it was always going to explode like that. Totally doesn't marginalize our efforts and make an already tough level even harder, on top of throwing a ton of crud towards the Temmies and basically have <FracturedEye> lie because it might be backup but this really isn't helping nearly as much as it is us trying to save the Temmies while fighting a hard-ass boss/ship (though we do appreciate their help). Or that he's coming back with a buff no less.

You must really hate it when your fights are cheesed even if in this case you could have just said it was rooted too tightly to be moved by Telekinesis. If you don't, then you're really overcompensating whenever we figure out stuff like this and this really has to stop, as this is arguably worse than the long, drawn-out and above all else irritating 10 fight I was expecting in the first place.

Roxxanne stabs Shard Golem 2 in the face and stays right where she is. I don't know how it's gonna bleed but it's not immune, so..."Bet you can't hit me, you jerkface! :3"

Super Greed sits tight.

Siria will Teleport to T16 aboard the Nightmare and snipe the Heartless, or the Heartless Illusion there.

@Nightmare Left Wing: Bum-rush that core before those statues can become a problem.

@Nightmare Top Wing: Get out of there, nothing to see. I'd prefer it if some of you could filter over to the Left Core to aid the attackers there, or the Right Core to get the needed DPS in, which we will need very soon.

@Gladius: Move to D9 and shove Shard Golem 1 into one of the Gap Breaches via Telekinesis (if one must be specified, the G7 breach). It is, after all, a Large Hole that anything could pass through.

@Tem Deckhands 3&4: Move towards the Breaches and repair the holes at F7 and H7.

@Tem Deckhand 2: Move to G5 via I3, and repair the G6 Breach.

@Tem Archers 1&2: Move towards the Breaches and repair the holes at F8 and H8.

@Glitch Temmie: Move Clone 3 over to repair the hole at G8.

@TOFS: Fire the other Railgun at the Nightmare and move the MW Anti to G5. Yes, that's right in front of the Nightmare.

@Splinter Helicopter: Move to F10 and have at Glitch Eater Group 2.

@Oriko: Turn the Turrets on the Glitch Crimera Group 2 after we've moded the MW Anti within range.

@Glitch Crimera: Move to G12. If the Glitch Beam can target and damage them, fry the Glitch Eater Group 1 with it. Crimera supremacy. Otherwise just keep nailing the Nightmare with that scratch damage.

@Mistri: Kill the Shard Golem, please. You'll take a hit but that's alright, you're next to the Coffee.

@Battlefury: If Siria's snipe reveals the Heartless is not real, Guard-that should heal you slightly and you can't take on that room alone. Alternatively, Thunderburst the other room as that should just do a lot of damage to everything in there at once. If the Heartless closer to you IS real, cast Earthbomb on it and try to make sure it stays near Zetta's tentacle, because...

@Zetta: Yes I am politely asking the boss to cooperate, the WARE entities are problems for both of us. If the Heartless next to your tentacle is the real deal, Pull the Heartless to your location, then either chew it up and spit it out (Gaping Maw) or do some other kill method that doesn't involve your obsession with devouring things (Mortem Falace if it's HP is low enough, Absurdly Powerful Magicks, The Breaker so something else can kill it if you can't, or something).

Description: A recreation of a trusty spax that Redstone once used in Sgear.

Redstone equips this item and teleports to F17. He then guards if possible.
