I think it might be that people are doing this as something they do in addition to the other sessions, and DTG0 and Terraria have both sort of dropped off in attendance due to not being updated, like, hardly ever anymore.

I quit most sessions because I could not figure out where the update was, and I was tired of searching page upon page only to find my own, old post. I still occasionally return to the Terraria session to Fire the Pinapple Device at somebody ![]() To sum it up: too many people and not enough updates. I still play here because it updates at just the perfect pace to be fun. Originally posted on 2016-05-26 20:52:00 -------------------- It was inevitable.

@Piono: That sounds sciency-enough. It's also probably true.
=TURN ONE-HUNDRED AND TWENTY= First up, Engie's new character, the Operative, has been added! Engie's old stats have been preserved. Special mods were touched up, though, and the base parameters (and SP cost) were modified. The Operative stands in the Furniture Graveyard. cc: geez, wha(t) (t)he hell am i even doing? cc: i'm jus(t) grabbing (t)hese random non-des©endan(t)s lef(t) and righ(t). cc: oh well. more people, more bodies, more fun. TEK meanwhile, has been sentenced to being locked in the Character Page for all eternity, until switched out again. Chaos has a sensible evil chuckle. Siria then enters the Furniture Graveyard, and while patiently waiting for the fightdop, pulls out the Impossibly Resistant Egg. Gun-fu happens, and the Impossibly Resistant Egg is destroyed! Out falls a Scrambled Platemail. It seems unusable [small][small](duh)[/small][/small] in this state, but if you can repair it, that'd be great. Localized time things happen in an attempt to repair the thing inside the egg, but to no avail; there is nothing inside the egg, as the egg has been destroyed. Plus, you'd need to do something more drastic to repair scrambled platemail. Toast then also attempts to revive Insert, but he's pretty alive already. This isn't dead-until-revived land anymore! Toast simply decides to chuck Insert towards the Crossroads instead, which fully heals him. Aaron then burns what's left to burn at the Splinter Fissure, making the whole thing possible to enter! It's still dark though, and who knows what might happen if you enter? He then puts out the fire quickly before anything bad can happen. Teag then wanders North of the Crossroads. It's blank. That's all you can really describe the place as. A few secretaries are gathered around a television set, completely motionless. You hear the familiar(?) noises of a Gravity Falls episode. A picture of TEK is pinned to a random dartboard, floating in midair. Numbersoup then tries to move east, but it turns out the Probe is rather unhappy with that, and rams and lasers Numbersoup for a total of (12-4) damage! cc: don'(t) go (t)ha(t) way please. cc: also, please don'(t) read (t)he upda(t)ed walk(t)hrough. cc: i don'(t) wan(t) you going in (t)here. Oriko then fails to cast Foresight while wandering into the Furniture Graveyard (the fight is already going), while Kirika is hit by a rather-fast moving paper airplane. It's going so fast that it actually pierces a web That One Friendly Spider made, and actually ends up launching Kirika over a few meters. It unfolds shortly after impact, reading; "What is this all about?" Oriko also remembers that the Grave was growing darker earlier. That was probably the scale incoming. Pricey then also joins the Furniture Graveyard battle. Redstone then goes to the Spire Chasm, and idles. He's not in the Chasm just yet; he's above it, rather. Mistri then VERY SLOWLY drags Patch to the Crossroads, and shoves him in the Alcove, fully healing him. This also makes him feel like not being a dog. =ZONE 6= SOUL reads the runes. The two lit up bits are legible; they read "PROBLEM. KEY. TARGET." and "MONSTER. MANOR." What could they mean? They probably relate on how to open the door. =BATTLE: FURNITURE GRAVEYARD, TURN ONE= One of the Scale Reapers is down, but it looks like this Crimson Scale is stronger than the other ones; it rose some graves up to defend itself, and it's calling down some allies now! Careful! Originally posted on 2016-05-27 02:06:00 -------------------- |

After being not close to total death, Patch feels like a bad thing is going to happen in the Hollowed Pocket. He quickly runs over and prepares for what he assumes is an inevitable battle, because nothing is friendly.

While I'm at the Crossroads, I take the time to briefly equip an axe, then chop off the entire spire that the Golden Bark is attached to. I then catch the spire, flip it so the bark is visible, and carefully cut an outline of the golden bark, removing it from the spire along with a large spire chunk. I then go into the alcove and slowly carve out the golden bark.

If someone kills that wall I can gib the crimson scale if needed. Might want to get that out of the way.
Otherwise, the Toast with the most joins the battle, moves to K9 and attacks the Scale Reaper, before retreating to L11. Originally posted on 2016-05-27 08:21:00 |

Aaron stops for a second and then mutters under his breath.
He then enters into the Cave of OCs, prepped for the stupidity that will likely be found there, he may not have personally dealt with that kind of thing, but he has memories of having dealt with that kind of thing. He also puts away Levis Ignis and Vi Naturae, they're not likely to be useful anymore. Originally posted on 2016-05-27 18:45:00 -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

Siria uses the Overclock that she apparently still has to kill the grave at G8 and then shoot the Crimson Scale. If it turns out the Overclock was an oversight, she instead just shoots the Grave.
She then ascends to the realms of non-battle for a second in order to craft once more. Firstly, she works on repairing the Scrambled Platemail. The name appears apt, as the whole thing looks to have had its molecules randomly swapped around and set into high-velocity collision courses with other molecules by Bill's wrath, resulting in a whole heap of mess. She grabs 50 Iron Ingots and gets to work repairing and enhancing the platemail. Her arm reconfigures itself into an atomic manipulator, or the mindscape equivalent, and quickly returns the platemail to a semblance of an ordered shape, instead of the warped, melted blob that it partially was. She then reconfigures the platemail again to an even better state, molecules and atoms clicking smoothly into place and leaving the platemail near-perfect, aside from having lost a lot of its mental 'weight' and ability to protect after being eroded and scrambled by Bill's cane laser wrath. She fills in its worn-thin patches by the careful application of the iron, the platemail regaining its ability to protect through the application of a considerable amount of metal. And by considerable, I mean considerable. The platemail soon stands reformed, looking heavy enough to grant its wielder a considerable amount of protection but also easily heavy enough to impede movement and dodging. For the kind of person that would wear this, though, dodging would quite likely be unimportant in favor of just standing there and soaking attacks on this absolutely massive suit of armor. Next, she decides to finally enhance her Sniper Charm. What, did you think that cosmetic change was for nothing? Firstly, she reconfigures the charm, scanning the form of the current charm on the string and saving it, before instead grabbing a Titanite Shard and instantly melting it into a small blob of metal, before forming it into an exact replica of the original charm and letting it cool. While the charm is cooling (cooling metal is at the greatest point of metaphysical malleability) she reconfigures her own form into what is basically a hollow sphere of nanites with several arms extending from the inside surface, tipped with various magical foci and manipulators. She engulfs the cooling charm, letting it float at the exact center of her, held in place by a precise stasis field. The foci and other devices extend to the charm, layering a complex pattern of magic onto it and etching the outer edge of the charm with a ring of runes to anchor the enchantment. Siria quickly realizes she can't properly fix this spell without reagents, and grabs a non-enhanced Longbow from Basicitemlandia and 10 pieces of Cardboard, ripping the antimagic properties out of the cardboard and leaving only its magical properties. She also grabs a Mana Orb from Basicitemlandia, for its magic-storing properties. She decomposes the Longbow into basic item concepts and pulls out its weapon skill, Focus, infusing that into the charm along with the magic from the Cardboard and the mana-interactive properties of the Mana Orb. Simply put, the Sniper Charm now has a toggleable effect where it will drain one mana per turn when toggled on. This mana drain, depending on Ire, either grants a chance for the user to gain a free (non-action-consuming) use of the Longbow's skill of Focus each toggled-on turn or grants a free use when enough mana has been stored. (This mana drain, if on, would naturally counteract the natural mana regen of players through draining one mana as the player gains one mana, leading to no net change in the mana total.) The enchanting and cooling done, she strings the new charm onto her Origin String to complete the upgraded Sniper Charm. If the grave at G8 has been destroyed, but the scale is intact, The Operative dashes to I10, then blasts the Crimson Scale with a Shock to get around the fact that it has AC, then retreats down to I12.
If the grave at G8 has not been destroyed, The Operative instead blasts the grave at G8 with the shock bolt. If the grave at G8 has been destroyed, and the scale is dead, he instead moves to G11 and casts Counterhappy, staring at Scale Reaper 2 with an impassive look in his eyes. Oriko is not happy with being attacked, so she moves to I11 to avoid getting Countered, and Orbs Scale Reaper 2 directly in the face. Kirika replies back with "I'm not happy with being eaten. Is that something you do? Eat teenage girls? That's realllllllly creepy."

=TURN ONE-HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONE=
=7= turns until I reveal the :.tobdog:'s true power I'll be moving both Darkside and Wilson to the AFK areas soon. Take note. Teag takes a nice, long look at the wanted poster. It's a picture of Techpiece, as you expected. The secretaries must not care for him for whatever reason. Teag then talks with the secretaries, asking very politely for the Gravity Falls episode. Suddenly, all at the same time, they slowly turn around to face him, legs unmoving as they do so. Teag then goes "please", causing them to move closer. Something akin to "demonic whispering" can be heard. ˙uɹs ˙bʌʇ ˙ɥʌɹooz ɥ,ʌxʌɹʞsxʌb nן ʌɯן ɥ,ʌs They keep inching closer, still... Patch then runs in for backup, and prepares for combat, but nothing seems to start. They're just slowly inching forward. Insert then axes a spire, and slowly but surely harvests the Golden Bark, adding +1 Gold to the group total. A toaster then joins the Furniture Graveyard battle. Sunny then quickly crafts a scope (actually using a crafting table and detailing a grid is actually pretty creative), but the Glitch Gel seems to be a really bad optic; all you can see through the gel is glitch distortion... Nonetheless, Glitchy Sight created. Numbersoup then continues to not appreciate Glitch Slimes, and gathers 54 Glitch Gel from all of their corpses. Aaron then doesn't do anything, as he doesn't really know where the Cave of OC's is! It might be down the fissure, or past where the probe is! He then stores his memory orb weapons. Siria then expends 50 Iron Ingots to repair the Scrambled Platemail, via method of atom manipulation. As expected, the Platemail is the ideal armor for anyone planning to go pure tank. Who needs movement, anyway? Right? [small]Right?[/small] Siria then enchants the hell out of a Titanite Shard, upgrading the Sniper Charm, giving it -1 MP Regen if you lack Focus, but a 1/5 chance each turn to give a free Focused status to the wearer every turn! Which gets stored in the charm. Yay! This consumes a Titanite Shard, and 10 Cardboard. Redstone then tries to move east, but totally ignores the Probe. This results in him being beaten into the ground by a Probe and lasered, for (15-1) damage. The probe wants to be acknowledged! Redstone limps back to where he once was. Kirika then flings another paper airplane at the ship in the distance. She'll probably get a response back. =TURN TWO, FURNITURE GRAVEYARD= Nothing too interesting to report here. Do note that if the foes here drop to 1, the fight will auto-clear, given the strict time limit of this zone. Originally posted on 2016-05-29 02:06:00 -------------------- |
