@Engie: Killing Crystals still does more damage, still penetrates AC, and Mindcrush has EXTREME Mana Costs, so really no-one other than Generic is in any position to use that liberally enough to really make it worth it over playing the boss fight as-intended. Sadly. Granted we can probably just rush his face down if he's low enough.

Battlefury, I think you have to be in Range 1 or 0 to press the button, otherwise we're going to get destroyed by the Faceless/Chaos Sabers.

NumberSoup, according to Pit's intuition, the place the button is launching us to is straight through the Hull Breach, so fixing that definitely kills us, and probably gives our souls to Chaos assuming he can teleport to our corpses.

Who needs to be de-primed? With a normal foxfire on a primed target, the illusions would deal 6-8 damage, which might be our best option. (1-3 base, +3 from INT, +2 from equipment, +2 from TemsFour skill, divided by 2, minicrit for 1.5). I can then have the illusion heal with the other bolt for 8-9.

@Teag: The de-priming attacks need to deal damage to work, and we both have huge AC values so the damage needs to overcome that. So Splinters will NOT work on either of us. Use them on someone who's AC isn't huge and that might do the job.

@Talist: Lin Rin has already done the job on me; someone else needs to get Insert. If you can on the meanwhile, mind hitting Crystal 1 just once to put it in the kill range? That would be grand and allow focus on Crystal 2, and if you're in range to hit Insert you're probably able to hit the Crystal as well.

@Consumer: This isn't mentioned in the Terraria session to be totally fair, but actually on the Forge through ARGs that Ire has made. The ARGs help set backstory a wee bit better. In particular, the first one helps set up Chaos'es plans a bit more clearly while the second explains what his deal is MUCH better (including his origins). The only other tidbit of information is from TvTropes, where Chaos explicitly states that omnicide is a goal of his to Zetta.

Also, as long as that Breach is there, in theory you might get phenomenally lucky and shoot through.

...The Splinters SHOULD work. Attacks can't' deal less than 1 damage, unless specifically stated.

As for Inception (Shard/Glyph), I'd say one at a time. Still a good deal, I'd say.
