Ok, so first it's C R I T I C A L H I T, not CRITICAL HITS. Secondly, the problem seems to be in how Python does rounding with float values, as it can store decimals but it still rounds them. Also, dodge chances below 5 don't round... but that's a problem with Python, not me. It still does round decimals on mini-crit rolls or in damage mods, so it should just work right.
Also, if RNG goes south, then blame the pseudo-random number generator as opposed to the atmospheric noise random number generator that random.org uses. Edit: I tried calculating what would happen if I put 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 in for the damage values. OF COURSE IT ROLLED A C R I T I C A L H I T. It calculated... Spoiler Alert damage. Originally posted on 2016-02-09 01:54:00 -------------------- It was inevitable.

Hey, since Insert already did the Entryway stuffs, could Toast just leapfrog into the WTF and shoot the last Transparisteel Barrier?
@Piono , DAMN IT. ALAS IT WAS TOO LATE, FOR IRE HADN'T NOTICED THIS POST UNLESS HE DID AND DISCOUNTED IT. YOU PROBABLY WOULDA BEEN CURSED OR SOMETHING. SINCE TOAST HAS A RELOAD WEAPON AND IS ALMOST DEAD, IT WON'T MATTER. THE STONE ROPE WAS A SUREFIRE WAY TO GET THAT STUFF THOUGH, IT'S A SHAME I MISSED INSERTS POST. SORRY SLEUTH. Aaron walks into the room, then decides to try and use the abilities of the Descendants.
He sprints forwards at full tilt, and kicks the glitched laser battery as hard as he can, sending it through the last transparisteel barrier at a speed that is most definitely not possible without forum game magic. (Like 80s magic, only lazier) He climbs in through the hole he has just punched in the transparisteel barrier and moves over to the railgun, to discover to his bepuzzlement, that the automatic firing system that previously made it unsafe to wield, as been both expertly and seamlessly removed from the gun, then stuffed into the barrel in a very haphazard manner. It also seems to be glowing red slightly. He looks at it warily and attempts to remove it from the barrel, hoping that the one who initially removed it from it's initial place within the gun didn't just rearrange its location to set it to fire upon being picked up while within the barrel. "He wouldn't be that spiteful, right?" Heh, you keep telling yourself that. The railgun, of course, goes off right as he sticks his hand in it. This DOES disable the auto-firing mechanism, it having been stuffed in the barrel being used to fire... Aaron's arm, and, by extension, Aaron himself, just also happen to be in the way of the projectile. Aaron is, predictably, insta-gibbed. Thank goodness this takes place inside the mindscape where he'll respawn. Erm, assuming Ire lets that entire thing pass, the railgun's available to pick up now without anyone needing to worry about it killing them. Aaron's currently busy being dead though, so I can't do it. EDIT: I claim an INT orb for Aaron! AND TOAST! WHY DID YOU SMASH THE ALTAR!!! IT WAS A PERFECTLY GOOD SLINGSHOT PROJECTILE AND YOU BORKED IT!!! Finally, I say we add the rocket launcher as a custom mod to our space ship, and if we get reason to believe it ISN'T intended to be aimed at us, then we hand it off to ©haos like was planned. "What do you mean, we? You aren't even here." Certain about that? I summon two spare cookies for puzzle reasons. These will provide some buff as determined by ire, given to the two players (or maybe even the same player) who guess the relevancy of Aaron to the grand scheme of things, and who the other character is and why he's here. The first part of the second guess is less important than the second. Ire, can we have a cookie system? People who have their own plots can hand them out to people who do good at guessing foreshadowing and stuff? As a side note to everyone, I can confirm we will be fighting memory Ayaze at some point. Aw, it's okay, Tem. I forgive you. I think Teag does, too.
I buy both the Tem Launcher and the Tem Flake Dispenser for a total of 6G. Ladies and gents, prepare to edit your ship designs!.. Well, if you want, anyway. As for the launcher, I'd say we deliver it to Chaos. If we're being honest, I honestly don't want Tem to die after what tem's been through. Besides, it's not like we can't take on a massive robot, considering what we've faced before, and consequently mauled to death. Yep. I'm still quite selfless. My SP is maxed out, so whenever we're in a pinch, I can activate Dragon Forme and become extremely resilient. Anyway, I move to the WTF and start putting all the stones from the cave-in into the inventory, making sure the way to the hangar is clear. I also try to dislodge the metal door from the wall by digging away bits of the wall around it. If Infernal Torment is disarmed, then I take that too. I go to the Memory Bed, take the teleporter to the woods, and place it in the hangar, because then... We're also not going to need the Waterfall area anymore, so I rip the Cavern Supports from the walls and ceiling, and then GET THE gorilla OUTTA THERE, straight into the hangar. I bloody hope I can do all this. Also, there's a new object for ship design. Check it out. Originally posted on 2016-02-09 04:39:00 -------------------- "...I will aid them. @Teag on shipbuilding: I knew that. The real question though: is it the range from the ship to another ship that the weapons need to care about, or is it the range from the WEAPON to the enemy ship? Because if it's the latter, that means we'd need to position ourselves explicitly to where we need to hit stuff. Hopefully it's the former, I mean, which would erase a lot of problems on my mind.
In any case, in terms of design, with that in mind, I'd lean more towards Teag or DarkSide right now. @Piono: ONE of them is the OP King, the red sillouette. I swear it. Seriously, it has to be. If not him, then Aaron. Either one. I hereby bet Aaron is either the Author, Eternis or the Oracle of the Void, while I'm at it. Probably the last one, as the Oracle is the one with the fancy runes last I recalled. As for our situation, huzzah, all goes well! Temmie is OK now. Deliver it to Chaos-we can handle ONE freaking robot (and I believe its one of the Morality Cores, meaning we won't WANT to fight it anyways). After that, all is really done here and there, and we'll get the ship going! Originally posted on 2016-02-09 05:57:00 |

Yah for smelting! Now I go to the Grav-Core Testing Room, and take what remains I can get of the two destroyed guard bots. If there are any usable electronic bits or functional weapons, I keep those. Any other unusable metal bits I smelt down to ingots.
I also check out the Sealed Metal Door. If I can somehow get that thing in the furnace, I definitely do so. I also pick up some stones from the Massive Pile of Stones, loot whatever destroyed defense bits from the Weapon Testing Area, and ask Glitch Temmie if I can take/smelt down the vault. I also smelt down the Titanium Table. If I can do that all in 1 turn, that is. Originally posted on 2016-02-09 17:10:00 -------------------- It was inevitable.

Well done tazz, you guessed the easy part! The red silhouette is, indeed, the OP King. You get a small piece of cookie! The rest of cookie #2 will go to you if you can figure out why he's here, and what his relation to Aaron is.
As for your guesses relating to Aaron, no, it isn't the OP King. The OP King would not rig the flaming railgun to shoot himself in the face. He is not Eternis, as Eternis isn't allowed to directly interfere with things when the Author isn't able to sneak him pass the gaze of the other omega reality-warpers, which he can't do because he's still chained to TT2000's old update terminal by the Narrative (which, consequently, is why HE can't be here either). The Oracle of the Void can't be Aaron because he's dead, and has been for a very long time. PLOT TWIST! Okay, I'll give a run-down of what was supposed to happen in Eric's side-quest in the second tvtropes session (well, what I had planned before I left at least): Eric brings several others (Hank, Astria and Wilson were on the list, and I was hoping to get a few other characters such as Unity, Darkside and someone from tazz or twin) to the old tower that used to be the oracle's home. Some stuff goes on, the oracle explains that the reason Eric's been unreasonably hard to kill is because the oracle of the void placed a powerful ward on him, since up until now, he's been the only chance at continuing the practice of rune magic. At that point, him and Eric would've taught the various other characters how to do rune magic, and therefore decreased the unfairness of me being the only having rune magic by making it so that I wasn't the only one with rune magic. At which point Project Nexus would show up and start shooting at the tower. Piono breaks in, everybody starts scrambling, and the following things happen in no particular order: Eric has a showdown with Piono, gets his butt handed to him again but gets rescued by Hank, Piono obliterates the Oracle of the Void, and the Oracle of the Void reveals to everyone that he's been dead for over a hundred IRL years (AKA, he's been dead since before our 1900s.) and only the various voidic prophecies have been allowing him to act by proxy through the use of the magical construct that everyone has actually been interacting with (yes, that means that every single runic spell the oracle of the void cast, was cast trillions of years ago from the fictional multiverse's perspective) I think that about covers it. So, no. Try again. Originally posted on 2016-02-10 02:46:00 -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

/null it was some semi-non-canon Piono nonsense. It was a robot designed by the OP King to try and test his skills and limitations and create some chaos while he was at it. The OP King was there, but he wasn't going to do anything directly.

=TURN EIGHTY=
-10- Turns until Engie is horribly eviscerated. (This is a lie.) Aaron rushes into the Weapons Testing Facility, and jump-kicks the Glitched Laser Battery, sending it flying into the Transparisteel Barrier! Both objects are destroyed, and the railgun is ripe for the taking! Aaron then realizes that the auto-firing device has been misplaced, and goes to remove the device from the weapon's barrel. Sadly, this has the effect of insta-gibbing him and the auto-firing mechanism. The Railgun is now ready to loot! The passed Aaron also equips the INT orb. Darkside then purchases both Temmie items, COMPLETING the collection of equipment for the ship! The ship then obtains the Wallet Warrior Mod, increasing the Core HP by 10 to celebrate this achievement! Darkside then works hard to clear away the cave-in for potential loot, and gets about 158 Clear Round Stones in the process. This opens a way to the Hangar from the Weapons Testing Facility. He also manages to cut out the Iron door, and loots the INFERNAL TORMENT! And six Origin Blaze Rods. Darkside then continues his wonderous romp, and moves the Gateway to the Recollection Woods to the Hangar. Gladius decides to be useful and shoves it in the ship's Cargo Bay for easy access. Darkside then removes the Cavern Supports. He barely escapes to the Hangar, and watches as the whole Waterfall zone collapses. This action adds the Cavern Supports into the inventory, and destroys the whole zone. Gladius simply stares at Darkside. ga: ...did you REALLY need to do that!? ga: I think we're pretty lucky this place didn't collapse with it! You are then treated to a whole three-minute cutscene with Gladius nagging at you about how silly you are and how irresponsible you are, and the whole nine yards. Nobody is pleased with this. Teag then loots the Guard Bots, and obtains several nice bits of wiring (16 pieces of it), and a broken Pulse Rifle; it seems like if you can find a way to repair it, say through alchemy (wink wink), it'd be simply BETTER than a standard Rifle! Teag then smelts the Broken Iron Door for 12 Iron Ingots, and then approaches Glitch Temmie, and asks to smelt the Vault. I still need to use that, Teag. It looks like Glitch Temmie is planning something; tem's made quick sketches of some sort of rapid-fire laser cannon, improved propulsion engines... Teag then loots a few more Wiring Bits (7 this time) from the damaged laser defenses, and then tries to smelt the Titanium Table. It seems that the table is too well constructed to melt. You'll need some serious heat to do that. Insert then checks Coffee Machine && Healing Aura. ALCHEMITER: Coffee Machine && Healing Aura = Infused Coffee Brewer (lvl 2) (Cost: 15 Grist) Spoiler Alert Insert then shoots himself in the face with a Beam for some reason, committing suicide. He promptly respawns; Auto-Revive rezzing him with (17) HP. It occurs to you that you accomplished nothing; you didn't even lower the price of Temmie Armor! ...we're not gonna decrease the price if you simply go and kill yourself like that. Numbersoup then tries to do something, but alas, the bodies have already been looted. Engie then disregards any sort of warning and jumps through the portal before the Rocket Launcher can come through. Awaiting him on the other side is Zone 4; Nightmare Mountain... ...and a whole ton of monsters awaiting the cargo shipment. cc: ... cc: i don'(t) even have words for how s(t)upid you are. cc: ... cc: oh my god please kill him. righ(t) now. cc: (ze(t)(t)a (t)ha(t)'s your ©ue) Welp. The Portal short-circuits behind you, and Zetta promptly pops out of the ground at Chaos's command. S T R I F E ? ? ? Toast then downs a jar of sap. This seems to remove 4 turns from her curse. It also doesn't bother to poison her, as she isn't in combat. Aaron then ghost-summons a cookie and flings it towards Roxxanne, who simply stashes it in the Group Inventory. Pricey then +1's his SPC, and moves for the Hangar. Gladius then gives a call on the suddenly-present lab PA. ga: Everyone, please report to the Hangar. We need to pick a ship design, now. If possible. Everyone heads over, since they have nothing better to do. Everyone except Engie, who seems to be in quite the pickle. The lethal explosive type of pickle. ga: So, the rules are simple; you can vote for TWO designs! You must spread your votes out, so no stacking two on the blue ship. ga: Just post your votes on the thread, or PM them to the GM. Whoever that is. ga: One more thing; found this in the cargo. You obtain the Foe Rush Zone Two orb. It'll freeze the Zetta Clock when used, and will last for 3 waves. It has a Player Cap of 7, like the last one. ga: Hey, if you feel like it, you should divide and conquer! One group fights the Foe Rush, while one group fights the bonus round... ga: Or if you'd rather just take off, that's fine too; we can do it later. =BATTLE: SHIPPING AND RECEIVING, TURN ZERO= cc: i'll be hones(t). cc: i really (t)hough(t) you were ©apable of more ra(t)ional (t)hough(t). cc: i'm an idio(t) for (t)hinking (t)ha(t), ©learly. cc: please ex©use me while i summon up a (t)able and bash my face in(t)o i(t) for one damage a sma©k. Zetta speaks up, now having been summoned to the field. "You have got to be kidding me. No-one is this stupid...But, I can't really deny getting an easy soul all my own! After all, you certainly don't deserve it if you're THAT reckless!" ...well, since not much is going on, Numbersoup, please remove the current poll.
