Scope Creep attaches its lower string to the Rainling like it does when tagging along with Melia, allowing it to hover semitangibly above the Rainling. The Rainling, which itself has flight, proceeds through the flames/Ash-door into the hall of players, checking out the Fog Of War'd left side. Behind it, Scope Creep creates a series of Thorn Patches made of dirt (it does earth damage!) to overwrite the Fire tiletype with a different tile. [BATTLE] something something Scope Creep MMP something something +10 something something what is this like the fourth mention of it Scope Creep's Sunling moves to L6 and attacks the W.Eye 1. It goes down, if the hit lands. Scope Creep glides forward to M3 (taking a step to L4 on the way to pick up the fresh Corpse, assuming the hit landed.) Scope Creep then turns its golden gaze towards the Bomber. (If Scope Creep lacks a Corpse: The Amplifier attached to one of its limbs shimmers, shifting from -20% Cost to +2 Buff Levels.) Its three limbs point horizontally, each aimed at the Bomber, and begin to rotate around an axis at the average of their locations oriented on the line between Scope Creep and the Bomber. Orbs appear at the tips of each, red, blue, and yellow, swirling around and then inwards into a single orb of pure golden light. Scope Creep used Tri Attack! It's not very effective... the wild Mine fainted! Foe Face was caught in the aftermath! Foe Bomber fainted! Scope Creep then retreats to N4 (if Tri-Attack missed) or N5 (otherwise). Scope Creep also throws a knife at Meios. [In other words: Sunling L6, attacks W.Eye1. If W.Eye1 is downed, Scope Creep ->L4(Swift, thanks to Protowell)->Grave Undertaking->M3(drop the Corpse in range)->Tri Attack Bomber (Also hits Mine thanks to being a Siege Spire reskin)->throw knife at Meios->retreat to N4(on miss of Bomber)/N5(on hit) If W.Eye1 is not downed, Scope Creep->M3->Amplifier to Buff Levels->Tri Attack Bomber(Also hits Mine thanks to being a Siege Spire reskin)->throw knife at Meios->retreat to N4(on miss of bomber)/N5(on hit).] |

Either the Bomber on W4 got teleported to R3, with byte1 being pulled along for the ride to Q4, or the Eye1 got teleported to P4. (Summary, I'm giving a conditional since Joe is impossible to plan around. If the bomber survives it gets hit with abduction, with Byte1 (or if I missed something that would've killed Byte1, then any available adjacent bytes) brought along for the ride. EMERICALD: Material-dissolving acid... anti-hat repellent... Google-targeting virus... apocalypse-tier grey goo... cartoonish boxing glove on a spring... don't know what this one is, maybe I should start organizing my pockets. As he tosses it away, the boxing glove on a spring rockets out of its disc, slamming directly into the Administrator and knocking them directly into the path of the incoming avalanche. Several other items find their way to misfortune, as well- the anti-hat spray is aimed directly at Louisi, the Google-targeting virus discharges several particles at Percy Dot Guv, and the acid begins burning through the stack of chairs at an alarmingly fast rate, approaching the floor rather quickly. The vial of apocalypse-tier grey goo just bounces, before rolling under the sofa in front of the couch. Seems someone had the foresight to Emericald-proof it. Percy
Emericald, being INCREDIBLY distracted, doesn't really register Percy's question at all. EMERICALD: Hm? Yes, yes, whatever you say. I'll tell Accounting to cut more corners. Cellblock Zetta Emericald and the Wisp spend 1 MOV to jaunt through the Telenode, up to Y3 (Emericald) and Y4 (Wisp). EMERICALD: Greetings! I bring an offering of peace! Emericald casts Roaming Blizzard on the Wisp, killing all the Bytes instantly. The Wisp uses its Energy Drain on the Bomber. An Apocalypse Rune spawns on W5. EMERICALD: Oops! That was not the spell that creates a beautiful meadow of candy. EMERICALD: That was the spell that creates a dangerous blizzard and causes dangerously low temperatures. EMERICALD: My mistake! Veldanura watches the scene outside for a moment, then turns her attention to the Hall of Players, only now seeming to care about the water and fire all over the place there. "Okay, that's definitely not part of... whatever this is. Luckily for the janitor, I know some... friends in high places." She gets up and walks to the entryway, wading through the flames and water in a suspiciously non-affected way, then slashes a single time with her sword. Space seems to rip open in the wake of her blade, and for a scant few milliseconds, the presence of SOMETHING can be felt, as though the attention of an impossibly powerful being were brought onto the matter... The rip in space seals itself shut again, and suddenly there's a significantly reduced presence of fire, water, and general messiness. Also less SOMETHINGy, in case anyone was wondering. Veldanura nods in satisfaction, then begins inspecting the statues, her curiosity now taken by those things. Battle - Cellblock Zetta Monnobaki considers her options. There's one pretty obvious problem with staying where she is, and that is that "where she is" is about to be hit by a concerning level of destruction. "We need to move!" Monnobaki smoothly slides out of harms way to Q5, then selfcasts Megabless. If only overhealing were a thing for her... -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. This Update Sponsored By: Tenebre Rosso Sangue -- Louisi prepares a spell she knows! "ADMINISTRATOR": Avalanche.. avalanche.. The Administrator's robot hand flickers through a unseen monitor. "ADMINISTRATOR": Isn't that a spell from.. a.. different g- Louisi causes a small disaster, smothering the flames in snow, rock, and snow! F.F. and the general Hall of Players, as well as a chunk of the Rec Room, are covered in snow! ..somehow, this doesn't stop the fire. What. "ADMINISTRATOR": I- That's- the roof! There is now a large hole in the ceiling. One looking up through it can see... a blue sky? Percy has a minor religious crisis. (For context, a major religious crisis is a holy war. I think.) "ADMINISTRATOR": Well, gods are fickle things. "ADMINISTRATOR": Maybe you need to ask yours nicely, or something. "ADMINISTRATOR": I haven't really been paying attention to your babble. Rude. Meios enters the hall of players! The fog is broken! He somehow dodges all the fire and ice and F.F. on his way in. How skillful. Scope Creep follows Meios! Scope Creep then buries the fire in Thorn Patches! This.. actually succeeds in smothering it, somewhat! Unfortunately, it also traps F.F. in prison. oopsie Glitch clears the fog of war! He discovers.. Scope Creep's statue! Additionally, a shiny golden trophy adorns the wall. Approaching the room's exit, he locates.. a door! It seems to be locked, though. On further inspection, he can see that it's set up with a keycard lock. Or, well, probably a keycard lock- a quick glance tells one that it somehow seems built for.. regular keys? The extremely jagged slot on the lock would be a struggle to slide a keycard through, at any rate. He gets the sense that the person who made this lock does not have any ideas how locks work. Emericald discards a variety of Japes and Jongles! One of these Supreme Japes slams the administrator into the avalanche's snow! He goes flying off, landing promptly in it! Wherever the speaker on that monitor is, it can be clearly heard that it has landed inside the snow. "ADMINISTRATOR": *muffled screaming* The Administrator is too busy being stuck in a snowdrift, but Fuse gets the inexplicable sense that they are giving them a sense of approval. A thumbs up is flashed their way as the Administrator tries to free themselves. At the same time, F.F. prays. Her statue inexplicably smiles back. Was it smiling before? It's hard to tell. Actually, was that the same pose it was in earlier? F.F. may be feeling mildly unsettled. Veldanura walks into the hall, and summons the power of.. something! Whatever it is, the amount of snow, water, and fire goes down! F.F.'s statue bursts into a lack of flames. The girl themself does not. Also, the ice sticks around- seems like it has spawn immunity from just being created this turn. Or something. Whatever the case, the Administrator's hand gives Veldanura a thumbs up! It's unclear whether she can actually see the thumbs up from inside the Hall. Cellblock Zetta Things are going good! Can you keep the pace..? Ignore those exclamation marks. Everything is fine. -------------------- Just a guy who likes DTG.

[Battle] Scope Creep's head rotates 225 degrees to look directly at the nearby Hostage. Scope Creep's golden eyes brighten and dim, lines of luminosity flowing over the simple oval-in-oval. The hostage, false or real as its intellect may be, is struck by the sense that within that pattern are countless secrets, inscrutable and eldritch and wondrous.
The Hostage is also struck by the sense that Scope Creep wants MP restore applied post haste. The Hostage complies. Scope Creep proceeds to float over the hostage to L9, snagging either VetranEye1's corpse (if the weatherling is being revived) or the sunlings corpse (otherwise) on the way. As it makes the journey, seemingly by coincidence, the M14 Hostage also turns around and is struck by a similar sense of 'That thing needs some MP'; if nobody else is making a similar request, it likewise complies. Scope Creep proceeds to cast Weatherling, creating a Windling on N8; with +20% MHP and Weatherling Damage, thanks to both the Corpse in range 1 and the Amplifier set to Buff Levels. (if the second Hostage didn't give MP, Rare Candy I guess. Otherwise, Scope Creep throws a knife at Aqua, which doesn't require permission because Aqua isn't a real kid, and would probably get permission because Aqua's build 'wants' SHP to break. After Aqua's choice of spell for the round, of course.) [Rec Room] Scope Creep may seem to have trapped itself via the Scopepatches, but looks can be decieving. It takes a motion sideways from conventional reality. A minute or so later, it reenters the... [set of areas where people can plausible see it] at N1, just outside the N2 window, and regards the small hole in the glass critically. |

Having resigned himself to the fact the fire is spreading, Paradox does the only rational thing and smashes the window that has a view in it open to provide an escape route if needed.
Meanwhile in the Cellblock, Parsnip resolves to swap out Weatherling for Purify in the future and steps back two spaces to N13 and asks Aqua for a Purify of his Manaburn. He creates a single illusionary trap of himself leering at the Blinking Eye3 with a MP Discount and recovers 5 HP and MP from the Ice. He also asks for MP from the Hostage as well. He may very well need all the MP he can get soon... |

The avalanche fails to do anything. Bummer. LOUISI: Welp, I tried. ...Louisi's broom floats over to where the Administrator's monitor is stuck and starts sweeping the snow away. It's clearing big chunks of the stuff out of the way too. ...Then she realized. LOUISI: ...peck, I'm an idiot. LOUISI: Tectonic Shift. She targets (H7-J8) with a big upheaval of non-Flammable Rock Rubble, the wood beneath the fire ripping itself away from the rest of the floor. Louisi closes her hand, and the Rubble quickly morphs itself and what remains of the fire into a cozy fireplace. LOUISI: I figured I should at lest *try* to make the place more comfortable after I rui- ANTI-HAT SPRAY Almost immediately after making a fireplace, Emericald ends up chucking the aforementioned spray at Louisi. Thanks to being distracted, both the back of her head and her hat are covered with the stuff. Suddenly, the hat both goes flying ahead of her and rips clean in half down the middle with a sickening tear. The sprayed part of the hat then literally atomizes itself due to being a hat. The spray on her head is quickly washed off due to being close to the Rainling. Dead silence from the young witch. LOUISI: LOUISI: LOUISI: She looks at her half hat, a flurry of emotions screaming across her face. Distraughtness (is that a word?), fury, sadness, exhaustion. All as the torn hat lay there, in her hands. LOUISI: m-my favorite hat... ...Without hesitation, she pulls out her phone and starts dialing. LOUISI: Abby, I'll be picking you up sooner than expected. ... LOUISI: Y-you'll see why. She hangs up immediately after that. She walks over to her broom, which should be done clearing the snow from around the Administrator, gives the monitor a tug if it's still stuck, then climbs on and flies straight out of the building through the hole in the roof. ...She'll probably be back here next turn. Cellblock Zetta After deftly dodging the Sagitarius' shot, Louisi steps next to the Teleporter to activate it once, then moves to (V13). LOUISI: Let's see how you like it! Trecim eats a Rare Candy to restore his MP, then casts Whirling Blades, hitting the Grace, Soldier and Face (and presumably killing the Grace and Face, so nobody else needs to shoot them) on his way to S13. Then he teleports to D17 and finishes his Blades by moving to D18 and hitting the Mine and Soldier2. He then spawns Exposed Machinery on E17.

A holy war, you say...? *scribbling intensifies* "Ask nicely...?" Percy says to the absence of the Administrator, genuinely confused. "I thought that was what praying was fo-"
Percy is suddenly interrupted as Emericald's Google-targeting virus discharges up his lack of a nose. Percy grabs the flat middle of his face, trying to find his nostrils. Somehow nasally, he complains, "What the heck, man!" He starts coughing. Then, with a rasp, "Why are you carrying stuff like that around!?" I think he's still trying to sell you insurance. "WHAT SORT OF UNDERHANDED SALES TACTIC IS INFECTING ME WITH A VIRUS JUST TO SELL ME HEALTH INSURANCE!!!" I dunno. Is it working? "NO!" Then the cold breeze from the snow mixes in, and Percy's lack of a nose starts running all over his face. "How- I don't even understand!" Look at it this way! If you die here, you don't have to worry about how you've lost faith in your God and are probably about to go to the Trash Bin of Purgatory. "NOT HELPING!" Then the nausea kicks in. Oh boy. Grabbing his mouth, Percy looks around, desperate for a trash can. Unfortunately, it looks like those didn't get installed. *Shrug*. With nowhere else to go, Percy runs over to V4 and starts vomiting behind the TV. ...In his defense, he wasn't the one who didn't put any trash cans in the Rec Room.
And, being INCREDIBLY distracted, Percy forgets to be angry about this too! Convenient, right? Or was it all part of the plan...? [CELL BLOCK ZETTA] Percy, you sure are lucky you're not Percy. "Whaat?" Nothing. Nothing. Just, don't be surprised if you have trouble the next time you try to save something. "Like... that hostage right there?" Er- no, but also yes, because I don't know that you can save that hostage this turn. "I can't?" Probably? I don't quite get the "move the move mov." Percy considers the situation. "What if I just..." [INITIATE SQUARE BALLET]. Percy moves diagonally to X11 for 0.5 MOV, says hello to the hostage on Y11- "Say, are your current religious beliefs leaving you stranded? A hostage to murderous wire creatures? If I were you, I'd jump ship and pray to the Chrome Lord. The One of a Thousand Zeroes. He is the true creator. Together we can see the light." -uses his bonus action to start dragging the hostage, uses 1 MOV to move the move move hostage to X10, then moves himself forward to X10, pushing the hostage to Y9, totaling another 2 MOV, lets go of the hostage, then finally steps himself back to X11 for another 0.5 MOV. (For sake of bolding, Percy shoves the hostage on Y11 over to Y9 and then moves to X11.) "That maths to 4, right?" Couldn't you just Google it? "The Lord does not respond to such trivialities." Wow... the more you talk, the more I think Yahoo is a fair alternative. "HERETICS!" Nah. I think heretics would be using Bing. Anyways, with the hostage successfully removed from their room and safely placed next to... an actual mine... Percy. "Yes?" Weren't you trying to recruit that hostage? "Yeah...?" So, you put them right next to a mine? "Uh-hu?" Like, a landmine. An active landmine. "I did that. Yes." ...Never mind. I'm sure it's fine. "...Actually. You know what?" That it's a terrible idea to put a hostage next to a deadly explosive? "No no no. I think I figured out why I haven't been hearing from the Lord." Oh? Pray tell. "I have too many messages pinned in my Gmail. I probably just missed the one from Him." An... interesting hypothesis. To test this, Percy opens up his Gmail and starts physically pulling the pins out of his emails and throwing them every which way. And by every which way, I mean the opposite of that. Percy deliberately throws every single pin at Sag1. "It's a CLONE! The REAL Sag1 is in the Rec Room!" ...Percy, I think they're all clones. "LIAR!" Anyways, Percy casts a bunch of pins at Sag1, and by that, I mean he casts Pinning Shot at Sag1, giving the Page the damage boost from Designated Marksman! Because emails are just naturally attracted to pins, you know. The Page just can't resist. And it doesn't! The Page moves up to V8 and pokes Sag1. MENACINGLY! Percy salutes the Page. "Rest in peace, my friend." What if that was a message from the Chrome Lord? Did you actually read it before summoning it? "...I- I'm sure it wasn't anything important." Riiight. |

Veldanura is visibly uncomfortable standing in so much snow. Parts of her exoskeleton chatter loudly as she shivers, which is a bit weird for someone who's technically not a biological entity anymore, but it might be a "feels what she should be feeling" thing. "Egh. My kind aren't suited to the cold. We're better suited to a nice hot desert." Since she's here and doesn't feel like leaving yet though, she just endures it for now, using her sword to hack away at the bits of ice still taking up space in the room. Violence is not the answer, violence is the question, and the answer appears to be "for all things". Probably best to keep a wide berth, just in case. Battle - Cellblock Zetta Monnobaki does her best impression of a raised eyebrow at the watchful eye zone slightly in her way. "I seriously doubt you can hit me through a wall." She moves to R4 and basic attacks Firefly. Good thing her basic attack can heal and remove negative status effects despite not being listed on the readout for some reason, really saves on the whole mana thing. -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. Posts under this post will be counted for the next round of combat. ..unless you ping me and specify its for this dop! This Update Sponsored By: Portal 2 OST -- Scope Creep walks sideways. Well, kinda. They clip out of bounds, experiencing horrific screen tearing before arriving back in reality, escaping the hallway of Scope Patch Doom. The Administrator would be incredulous as this exploit, but he is currently still in a minor state of Snowdrift. RIP? Maybe it's for the best. Parsnip smashes open a window! The Administrator's muffled rage can be heard, as can the non-muffled non-raging sound of "glass breaking". Somehow, the window's power remains on. Must have good wiring. Louisi provides community service! Sweep sweep sweep.. broom broom.. She actually manages to clear a non-insignificant portion of the Snow! The Administrator manages to pull themselves free from the snow bank, spinning around in a circle once or twice before crashing into the wall. He's probably fine. She then provides slightly less state approved terraforming, and creates a fireplace out of the rubble! What remains of the disaster manages to transform into a.. surprisingly cozy fireplace. The warm glow illuminates the.. actually already pretty well lit Rec Room. But it's the thought that counts! Louisi is rewarded for her good deeds with.. with.. the murder of her hat. It's extremely graphic. The Administrator manages to stop their wobbling through the air to give a horrified look. Or, well. You get the sense that they have a horrified look. In reality, their monitor still just shows the letter A and nothing else. ACCOMPLISHMENT GAINED??: MURDER WITNESS In response to this, Louisi flees. The Administrator watches her go. "ADMINISTRATOR": ..I don't actually know what's outside of the loaded map. The Administrator stares at Percy. "ADMINISTRATOR": Well, it was meant to be mildly condescending, but- All in good jest, I assure you. Percy is saved(?) from mild confusion at the Administrator's confusing interaction with a sudden attack of nausea. Well, to be more precise, the sudden attack of a actual virus which itself attacks him with nausea. There's a chain of command here. Regardless the cause, Percy is forced to zip behind the TV, vomiting. The Administrator scrolls through their emote menu and quickly projects a face that looks suitably disgusted. "ADMINISTRATOR": I'm sorry, did someone just throw a actual virus at you? "ADMINISTRATOR": That is strictly forbidden under the testing protocols. "ADMINISTRATOR": ...you.. did.. all sign the testing protocols. Right? Did you? Who knows. I do. Veldanura clears out the rest of the ice in the Hall of Players! She earns +3 Karma, which would be a lot more impactful if Karma was still a real stat. In response, she notices the statue of her shimmer- upon inspection, it seems a new statistic has been added to it. ICE BROKEN: FOUR It's unclear exactly why it's tracking this for only her and not any other people clearing the snow. Maybe she has a VIP pass. F.F. ignores the potentially sentient statue, and proceeds to.. stuff the fire into her character sheet. "ADMINISTRATOR": ..that's.. really not how it works. You know that's not how it works, right. Robot voice? Fire tiles are a part of the map. You can't put th- ACCOMPLISHMENT GAINED: FIRE F.F. is no longer on fire. Neither is her statue. "ADMINISTRATOR": "ADMINISTRATOR": what The Administrator clears their throat. Or, well, the monitor makes a sound that sounds like clearing its throat. Presumably whereever the voice is being transmitted from the speaker just.. look, you get the point. "ADMINISTRATOR": Sir. "ADMINISTRATOR": Please refrain from any continued violations of testing protocol. "ADMINISTRATOR": Endangering the security of the PAVCS test is a EXTREMELY grave offense. I may be forced to take.. offensive measures. He tries to say this in a scary voice, but frankly, Emericald is being threatened by a three foot high floating monitor. If Emericlad is afraid of the letter A though, he's in for a rough one. Cellblock Zetta The map has received a significant shakeup with mass wall destruction, flooding, and the appearance of the Avatar! Defeating it and the Praetors will end the map. Make sure to rescue your hostages! I promise that the map isn't as complex as it looks. You got this! --- POST IS FOR PREVIOUS DOP ---
Meios casts Riposte, evidently too distracted to do anything else. -------------------- Have you ever heard the tale of Godmodding?
They say that a Godmodder is a master of a universe, able to bend its laws to their whims. They say that Godmodders are cursed to forever create their own opposition... adventurers, who crawl from the woodwork of the world to oppose the Godmodder. But they say that there are no more Godmodders. Unfortunately for them... I'm still here. |

Trecim uses the Scroll of Phase Shift, swapping places with the Hostage on F21. He then moves to C20 (3 MOV), begins dragging the D21 Hostage, and then spends the last of his movement to move to D19, depositing the Hostage on E18. Then he basic attacks the Veteran.

[BATTLE]
Scope Creep still wants MP restoration. The Hostage knows this. It is as self-evident as 1+1 or 3+fish=pineapple. Thus they act. MP having been restored, Scope Creep and its attendant corpse are blown by the highly localised windstorm to L7(where Scope Creep throws a Knife at the E.wisp, or Aqua, or whatever.), then N8 and O7. Scope Creep then unequips its held item: a pine needle. Scope Creep then unequips its held item: a pine needle. Scope Creep then unequips its held item: a pine needle. Scope Creep then unequips its held item: a pine needle. Scope Creep then un(...) employing an incredible number of pine needles retrieved from the area outside the window that Scope Creep(in the rec room) was in until the window broke and let Scope Creep back through (retrieved via inventory-style wackiness), Scope Creep scatters several collections of jittering physics objects to N11, R8, Q5, N8, J7, and K7, a needle in each being knocked loose by impact with the ground and bouncing into the nearby avatar, grace, samurai, sentry, screamer and sentry, respectively. Scope Creep is then blown (retreats) to M7. in the Meantime, the Windling goes to M12 and attacks Grace1. [WORLD] Scope Creep glances at the chairstack.
most of the fire has been put out. However, someone forgot to put these chairs out. Thus, the chairstack is on fire. This is corroborated by the chairstack tile being the color of the fireplace. Scope Creep watches as the fire begins to spread. |

Parsnip winces. He asks for some MP from the nearby Hostage before the later flees to the right in a bid for the telenode.
Parsnip limps over to O13 himself and takes a Rare Candy to restore a bit of MP to Bonus Wild Wind himself once more. Ice grows at P14 to cover the Hostage. He than meditates |
