It is quickly revealed that the outfits certainly don't have an INT boost to them, as the Mooks swarm on the Herald like starving rats would gather round a corpse. The Herald is once more pinned to the ground, this time without any stuck rapiers, but instead held down by the Mooks on all sides.
For some reason, London Bridge is Falling Down starts playing in the background as a shadow forms over them.
Which seems to be getting closer.
And still closer.

The Herald and the Mooks are unceremoniously buried under a mountain of various blade-down rapiers, with the Witch Herself sitting on an ornate marble throne above it, drinking absinthe for whatever reason.

The godfather, finished with his attack on the soldiers, turns towards the Herald, golden revolver aimed.

For a while, the godfather does nothing. Neither bullets nor words were sent careening towards the Herald, nor did the godfather move a muscle.

Then, the Herald feels movement behind him. "Ahh, the good ol' 'distract me so they can strike me from the back' tactic," so thinks the Herald. He turns around to see quite the giant of a henchman preparing to smash him with a big club. The Herald, of course, prepares to counter this incoming blow. Just then, three rapid bangs come up from behind and before the Herald could look over, three bullets from the godfather's revolver have hit his back. As he is recoiling, the henchman then brings down the club on him and promptly moves out as the godfather unloads the rest of revolver's ammo on the Herald.

The Orbital Heli eliminates a soldier (-1 Morale), and the Orbital Fighter deals 1k damage to another. Then the two remaining soldiers roll Morale. The first one fails the check, and defects.
"Oh Helix, I don't want to die!"
The other one succeeds, and shoots the Orbital Heli for 4k damage.

The Herald facepalms as he watches half of his remaining advance force leave him.
"That was just the first wave. The next, courtesy of my colleagues, will come just about.....Now."

The godfather, not really godmodder-damaging material, orders a random but trustworthy goon to bust the Wizard's kneecaps.

Once that is done, the godfather pulls out another golden revolver and shoots the Wizard in the kneecaps for good measure.

All this was just right before that marathon that the Wizard was planning on doing too. Such a shame.

The confusion stops after approximately seven picoseconds, however, as She puts her mind to thinking of a new attack.

But in the meantime, we need to do something with the new enemies that have just walked in! She summons an Angel of Massacre and has them purify the Wizard. That is, rain hellfire upon them until they repent and come to our side.

In that cast, my flashlight worked, being brighter then the air glowing (that is the point of a flashlight), which makes it , when shined on something opaque, cause it to have a shadow! regardless, I take out a flashbang, and wrap it in a mesh that lets through only thin beams of light. everything else is hence a shadow, and instantly turns to diamond.
this somehow only affects the herald.
