<ROUND THIRTY-NINE>
JOE decides to harvest and automatically replant the Lumipods in his farm. He gets about 7 Lumipods from the harvest itself, and 15 Uniform Logs. He only manages to plant 1 in the corner, as it seems like trees take up a large deal of room. He then uses a robot with only one nostril to harvest the remaining 6 Titanium at Toast's Crystillery. Why does it only have one nostril? No idea. Why does it HAVE a nostril? Again, no idea. And... looks like that's it for this segment!

<THE HOUSE, ROUND FOUR>
Toast saunters behind the house, and is immediately greeted with an arrow to the chest. It sinks deeply into her chest, but fortunately, the wound isn't lethal- probably due to the fact that the archer is firing needles for some damn reason. Only a few meters away is a hooded figure, and behind that, another one. The first of the duo is diminutive and strangely cute inside that hood, while the second one is tall and strangely bulky. The first of the two appears to be completely speechless. She pulls down her hood, a head of pink hair popping free. It's a familiar face for the mage- it's Marron!

MARRON: T-Toast? Is that actually you? Holy gorilla.
MARRON: I thought... I thought I'd... n-never see you a-again...

Mist condenses at the edges of her eyes. She promptly glomps Toast, her weight far too little to actually knock Toast over. With both arms wrapped around her long-lost friend, she keeps talking.

MARRON: ...Sorry for shooting you, by the way. I've been on edge the entire time I've been here...
MARRON: There are these... cultists, and they think I've been marked for death by their... god?
MARRON: Plus, there are these purple things that wanna eat me a-and...
MARRON: Well, I think you've seen those.

There's a sound from the ruins of a few nearby houses. The puppeteer pushes Toast away and draws an arrow.

MARRON: gorilla, it better not be those crimson gori-

Five crimson bois stumble out of the second floor of what could now only be called a mishmash of wooden planks. They all promptly flop onto the ground with what can only be called uncoordinated elegance. One of them springs up to their feet, while the other cultists don't even bother to stand up and simply roll into position to flank the reunited duo.

CULTIST: KILL THE HERETIC
CULTIST, BUT OTHER: DEUS VULT! DEUS VULT!
MARRON: gorrila.

The remaining cultists spring up, holding knives and staves in a variety of weird positions. One of them mimics the totally familiar motion of peeling potatoes.

MARRON: Seriously!? Can't you gorillas just go and gorillaing die already!?
CULTIST: YOU HAVE BEEN MARKED BY OUR GOD
CULTIST: HE DEMANDS YOUR SOUL! AND BY EXTENSION, YOUR ENTIRE BODY. INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, YOUR BLOOD, YOUR LIMBS, YOUR SKIN, AND OTHER BODY PARTS.
CULTIST: OUR GOD IS NOT VERY SPECIFIC.

Marron facepalms. Ette waves to the cultists, and wins exactly one wave back.

MARRON: Of COURSE we'd meet like this. Point is, these guys have been trying to shank my gorilla for the past day or so.
MARRON: Toaster... would you be a darling and help me slaughter these gorillas?

Anyway, there's a rather scary group of cultists here now! They're not too deadly on their own, but as they fall, they'll grant SP to their allies! Their specials cause them to evolve into a far deadlier form; prevent this from happening at all costs! Killing them has no moral penalties though [small](or at least, killing them isn't as bad as killing a normal Chairian, and won't /kill your karma)[/small], so feel free to pop their heads.

"I thought you were lost, or dead... and..."
Whatever else she planned to say is cut off by the appearance of the Cultists. She seems kind of annoyed by this.
"Yeah. Maybe catch-up can wait until after these guys are taken out."

Toast points a finger gun at the CHOSEN ONE (or Chosen1). A small flame appears at her finger tip. It's only allowed to flicker for a moment before Toast 'fires' the finger gun, sending a burst of flame straight through Chosen1's chest, before curving back to hit Seer1.
Ignite Blood + Bounce.
-5 MM. +6% Fish. +14 SP. -14 MP.
Toast shivers slightly, feeling a slight prickling on her scalp.

Meanwhile, her afterimages move around. 1 moves to P6 upstairs and opens the door, while 2 moves to U5 with the boosted speed.

uA: Hey, Marron, Ette. Long time no see. Oh, uhm, Ette? Please allow me to help. Just, uh, you might want to stand out of the way.

Auth smirks and opens his eyes, incredibly proud of himself. He gives the two of them a salute, then turns to the Chosen. Ink swirls around both of his hands, and then he puts his hands together and points at Chosen 2.

uA: Is that so? Well, I have a counter-proposal for you, sir.

uA: I COMMAND YOU TO DIE!

A massive, overwhelming beam of black smacks into Chosen3, and then turns and smashes into Chosen2.

Afterwards, he waves to the Shopkeeper drone.

uA: Hey Chaos! We'll buy some Crystals from you if you help us beat up the cultist!
