I should perhaps have posted far sooner than I have done so, but, oh well. EN briefly considers her options of what she could do, then shrugs and just unfolds her wings out again, apparently doing so to catch the warmth from the sun on them. Which is a fancy way of saying she meditates.

"Well, that could'a gone worse. Shouldn't take long to clean up the rest of those... uh... thingies."

In the meantime, Verdana and Calibri are... still hanging at the back, away from the pack.

To begin, Miki suddenly and inexplicably transforms into Asuka Ninomiya, in what might be the fastest RP-character switch to date. They're also a holographic projector, too. And that's about it.

<THE BUNKER, ROUND FIVE>
With the very slight help of the Chairian Forces, the Iti are struck down. The once loud battlefield has gone silent, the only sounds being that of the Iti dissipating into black smoke. Only a few fragments remain of the Iti once the smoke clears; small charred black splinters, with veins of purple running across them. The few surviving Chairians stand along the carnage, catching their breath.

CHAIRIAN LANCER: W-We survived...
CHAIRIAN ARCHER: It's rare for us Legionaries to survive ambushes like that. Thanks for your help... and for what it's worth, sorry for trying to kill you.
ARCHER: Take the body of our swordfighting friend over there. I think they're still alive.
LANCER: R-Right!

The Lancer walks over to the body, and rouses the lady awake. She's delirious and pained, but she manages to stand up with help.

CHAIRIAN FIGHER: Hah...
FIGHTER: I'm... alive?
LANCER: I-I know, right? Crazy!
LANCER: We'll get you out of here- there's a checkpoint up to the north, and we should be able to get transport to the Citadel Outskirts from there.
LANCER: They'll be able to fix us right up!
FIGHTER: T-Thank... helix...

She passes out. The archer decides to share a few things with the group.

ARCHER: Again, thank you for your help.
ARCHER: I suppose that before we go, the least I can do for you all is give you a few pointers...
ARCHER: Okay... take these.

He hands you a small book, and a weird metallic device.

ARCHER: The book contains a few sketches of the nearby areas; nothing much, but it'll help you navigate the area. Just north of that area labelled the Crossroads is one of our camps; careful when you go there.
ARCHER: Us Chairians have never really been accepting of outsiders... and during these troubled times, I wouldn't be surprised if they attacked you right away. Especially with those rebels about...
ARCHER: And that metal thing is a Scanner. It has connection to a database we have in the Grand Library.
ARCHER: Everything you scan will be uploaded to the database, and you'll be able to get information on the things you've scanned.
[small][small]ARCHER: Don't question how you've been scanning things before receiving this, alright?[/small][/small]
ARCHER: I hear the lady in charge there- Omorika, I believe; she's been having troubles with the database. Scanning things might help her fix it up; who knows?

The archer watches as the Lancer drags the Fighter up north.

ARCHER: I'll stick around for a moment, and answer a few questions. You likely have a ton of them.
ARCHER: I'll be leaving soon... so don't waste any time, alright?
ARCHER: Maybe I'll see you around.

With the conclusion of the first battle, all players have obtained 1 Skillpoint! Use these to upgrade your character! While you'll usually get 1 per battle, those points will add up quickly! Anyway, now it's time for a bit of exploration. There's a new tab called "Zone 1: The Chairian Outskirts." You can give coordinates on where you want to move on the map, and examine objects in the world around you. You'll likely want to explore some nearby zones, if only to obtain some sweet sweet loot so that you'll perform better in combat.

Now, go forth! This world needs saving, even if the people up north don't think it does! Just be careful- death could be around any corner, and there's more then a few hostiles about this forest...

She moves to the next area north and inspects the package closer. If she can open it, she does.

Destiny decides to take out 1 point from AGI and SKI and put both of them into STR. She then puts the 3rd point she got from battle and puts it into SKI.

Destiny walks North and notices the save point. She SAVES the party's progress so that if they die, they don't have to fight the Chairians and the Iti again.
Destiny then walks up to the Archer after Soup talks.

So I am assuming that you are an organized force, and thus I can conclude that you come from a civilization. Yeah, I know, obvious stuff, but is there some kind of metropolis on this planet? How far is it from here?
How will we be treated when we get there?

Oda continues north to where the package normally would be, but it's safe to assume that somebody's already looted the entire thing, box and all... revealing said body mentioned in the description.

"...This soldier needs a medical evacuation, stat. In a three-way battle of armies, it's easy to end up with a team of the two weaker ones, and... whatever those were, they definitely seem extremely threatening."

Acting quickly, Oda lifts the body and places it down next to the sap tree. It's not much, given Oda's very limited medical ability, but it puts them out of any immediate danger.

Auth nods his head at the Archer, moving with them and their party into the Crossroads.

uA: Well, we are happy to help. I doubt most of us have any hard feelings about a misunderstanding. I know, at the very least, I do not.

Auth looks rather concerned at the Chairian Fighter who's wounded and passed out.

uA: Oh, my. I'm so sorry about your condition. Please, allow me to help.

If he's permitted to help, Auth places his pointer and middle finger to the delirious fighter's forehead. Valiance is used on her, in an attempt to bring a spark back to her eyes, before they go North.

uA: That should do the trick. I hope that the rest of you fare well. We may visit after we can gain your trust.

And then a certain name is mentioned. Omorika...

uA: A-ah!? That name-! I-Thank you. We will do our best to acquire everything we may find. I'll see you around, hopefully.

Auth turns around, to spot a metallic lady with huge wings. And he smiles, remembering her.

uA: Heya EN! Good to see you! Mind if I follow you?

Auth also puts his new Skill Point into MP, as he follows EN flying through the sky to the Untamed Woods where Verdana is trying to tame a Seeker.

uA: I-Th-Wh... That's... uh... a really bad idea. I'll try and save him after he gets mangled.

With disposal of the Iti well and truly done with, now there's the matter of what to do. EN and Calibri both seem to be shimmering faintly, as though there's a thin barrier separating them from the surrounding atmosphere now... (+1 RES to both)

There's a suspicious absence of a certain albino medic guy. Calibri just stares at the space where Verdana was standing for a moment, his eyes having turned a concerning shade of black, then immediately sprints off as though knowing exactly where and what the guy might be doing. EN frowns, then spreads her wings a little wider and rockets into the air to follow them, being too slow when walking to keep up.

Too late. Verdana's already found the bag in the Untamed Woods, and by extension, the pinned Iti Seeker. His reaction is to... apparently be quite concerned for the little guy, crouching down to get a better look, then pausing for a moment. The inventory... maybe something from there could help.

"You okay there, little guy? Or gal, I can't tell with any of you yet... Here!"

He proceeds to horribly miss the main problem that the Seeker is undergoing, giving it a single Ration on a plate that he pulled from where-the-hell-was-he-even-keeping-that by placing it down in front of the little guy. There's a pause. He then realizes that the bag is kind of inconvenient, quickly picking up the travelling sack and apparently moving it one-handed to free the Seeker. In the background, Calibri proceeds to run onto the scene and screech to a halt a fair distance away, while EN lands behind-to-the-side of him.

"If that thing attacks my not-quite-bro, I'm putting it down immediately."
"Ya don't trust his judgement?"
"No, I- it- they- those things- we only just got out of a fight with them and you're already telling me I should let one of them stand so close to..."

There's a pause.

"...I can't trust it. Not yet. What has it done? Existed, gotten trapped... and yet he's already over there, freeing it and trying to give it food..."
"Just... let this happen. If yer right, ya can step in. If he's right... uh..."
"..."
"...I ain't thought that far ahead, yanno."

Toast runs her crystal hand through her hair. It gets caught on a few knots, causing her to yelp in annoyance.

Maybe she's not here here, with us, but here, on this planet. It's really the only lead I have in the real world. Maybe if I stick it out here, I'll be able to find her, or find whatever this thing is that Chaos has put her up to.
...Plus there's the whole reality dying thing.
Having reality not die would be great.

She breathes deeply, and becomes a mothergorillaing sorcerer. Maybe she's in slightly better spirits. Maybe she just has more SPC now. Who knows.

Toast heads up to the Untamed Woods through The Forest Crossroads. She timehops through the zone (heading to the east), to avoid disturbing the certain albino medic guy and his potential pet. As she enters this new place, she takes a piece of charcoal and draws up a map of the area in the Map Book.

Terry throws a card into the ground. It just so happens that this card is Daria, Dimensional Witch. And it's even the alternate art one!

"Here comes some real magic!"

The card glows a bright blue, and disappears.

With a bang and a boom goddamn pillar of light transformation, Terry too, turns into a mothergorillaing sorcerer. (The new sheet is in the "Terry (New)" tab.) (Everything is changed but the special.)

Terry then goes to the Forest Crossroads, then shoots the Iron Ore in the face-analogue repeatedly.

Oh, and the Voice takes 5 damage. Probably.
