Teag first waits for Urus to buff him, before he stays still, consumes a delicious Burrito, puts on the Timestop hat,and fires an Earth-type projectile straight at Pillager 3, applying the Field Disruptor axiom to the attack. If it somehow survives this, Vitalstrike should finish it off.

BATTLE - ENDGAME: HEART OF THE SPHERE:
Keane fires up the ol' Fighter Jet again, swooping through the air to K23. KEANE: agagagagagagagag HEXAGON ME BOY KEANE: allow me to quickly woe your aids. i mean aid your woes. gorilla. Keane casts Channel Magic, switching the statuses of Mexagon and WARE, before he pulls up the Triangle Emporium using the incredible dealtech of the Dealmaker glasses... and notices the sorry state of the party's funds. --- The screech startles some birds perched on top of the Sphere. Or whatever Locaa's bird-adjacent creatures are. --- KEANE: WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO ALL OUR CASH KEANE: who did this. who broke it. KEANE: I swear to god if nobody comes forward, I will drag you all into remedial budgetary classes. I'll drag you kicking and screaming if I gotta. KEANE: I'll use some of my stockpiled funds, but after this y'all are getting some serious thriftiness lessons! Keane spends 40 KROMER on a Panacea, using it on Hexagon, and then purchases two Eterna Teas with 70 Credits. He gives them to Mexagon and Hexagon respectively. KEANE: Alright! Drink up! Or, uh... well, just use 'em. I dunno, figure it out. I won't be leaving your side till you're all healed up, so chop chop! While waiting for Hexagon and Mexagon to heal, Keane pulls out the Bancannon and aims at WARE. When the Tilted Scale dies, Keane fires the Bancannon at Ware as a bonus action. -------------------- Carcinizing into God. All things become me eventually. Meta bullshit found contagious. Using their item action, they Infinidrop an Infinipizza into the inventory. SPHERE WAITING ROOM The Reflector suddenly drops out of a large wooden chute on the ceiling into the Sphere Waiting Room. THE REFLECTOR: apologies many apologies for our absence, our late arrival! THE REFLECTOR: we were waylaid quite busy with preparations. “CHLOE”: Is everyone doing alright out there? “CHLOE”: I’d go out and help, b-but I don’t think the Operator likes our build very much… -------------------- |

Before Teag Acts:
Both Rem Missiles fly through the vortex to shoot WARE. Remiel keeps the Teag mantle from last round. Remiel immediately unmantles onto X22, uses Liberating to remove Gibbet's Doomed (chance to roll a new Flux Mutation), and uses a bonus-action Focus Energy on Teag. Then, they move to mantle Chloe and shoot WARE with a basic attack. |

"...Hm. Just extension-of-will-style animated constructs, then." Blacklight nods, considering what he's been told for a moment. In all honesty, that kind of makes some of his attempted comparisons fall apart somewhat. Perhaps, hmm... "...In that case, the mechanical equivalent would be more like... an artificial limb, shall we say. Which is exactly what it sounds like. And now that we've cleared that up, I'm not entirely sure what analogy to make to properly explain... more complicated machine lifeforms." "..." Loading. Zone 6 - The Eclipsed Citadel Lato pauses. "Admittedly, you raise a point worth acknowledging. Though, if we are to leave this person with some time to recover, then... What do we do now?" While Lato still has a "get up ya fecker" method at the ready, she's holding off on it. And also holding off on the alternative plan of just yeeting the gardener at the nearest sorta-sapient plant. Zone 4 - The Old Pass Calibri didn't quite expect Daikon to take off that quickly. Whoops. "...Urgh, this is gonna make explaining it all to Droplet kinda hard, huh... Oh well, here we go." With that remark to himself, Calibri wanders in through the front doors of the church, falling down the giant hole onto an already-crushed piece of banquet table, then gets up and dusts himself off. After that, he walks over to Droplet, standing there in silence for a few seconds... "It's a long story. Chaos gave me a time machine and instructions to kill Isaac Newton so I decided to intervene in a different part of the timeline and negate Daikon's death. I'm honestly two parts shocked it worked, one part hoping I never have to do that again, one part hoping I don't get the time police chasing after me, and one part hoping I don't get thyme poisoning from what I had to do to manage that." He pauses for another moment to let the moment sink in, then glances to one side and starts tapping his pointer fingers together. "...So... yeah. That's, uh... That's the shape of it. Hope you're not too upset at the level of bullshit going on. Because if I'm gonna be honest, there is no conceivable way this should have worked." Battle in the Sphere - Heart of the Sphere Fit this as early into the turn order as possible without breaking anything, thanks. My action basically got wasted last time and that left a bitter taste in my mouth. Calibri chuckles at Ware. "Never read a Spiderman comic before? When the guys who keep talking way too much suddenly go silent, and one of the minions you were relying on dies just as suddenly, that's not a sign of us feeling fear. That's a cue for you to feel it." >Chloe: Swordbeam on Calibri and then do whatever you feel like doing >Calibri: Move to N14, basic attack Tilted Scale (+45% damage buff and total 40 crit and Foam on top of that), retreat to M15, prepare to counterattack in the event that Ware starts flinging shit at me Sphere Waiting Room "...Actually, what if I just..." Verdana wriggles about in the pillar, then forces himself to slide out of it and flop onto G12. Because the back of a couch is probably more comfortable than a pillar. As for Lato, she's considering things. One can practically see the cogs in her head turning... "...If fire is not permissible, then perhaps..." She proceeds to throw a canister of liquid nitrogen into the thyme matter, then shoots it to flood that part of the room with Very Cold, a colloquial term used to describe things which are... y'know. -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. Currently, you follow mine."

Auth twitches on hearing WARE describe the Eliti they construct as pawns. He wheels around before preparing his next move, staring them straight on.
AUTH: Such callousness does you ill. Sacrifices may be, at times, required for the game but to disregard them as such is folly, and want to backfire. AUTH: You should take more care with your pieces. You should be more respectful to them. Lest it comes back to bite you in a more severe manner... Auth glances at the allied Iti that they have managed to recruit. Then, he moves. Somewhere. It doesn't matter, really. He floats high above the ground, allowing for full visibility. AUTH: Do not act as though we have made any major mistakes yet. We have chosen our priority targets, and you have forgotten yours. Light beams down over the entire field, and beams of red sunlight emerge briefly from his eyes. Nia, the Rocketeer and Taeda are revived from being downed, and then he floats back down near to the ground. AUTH: You do, and we undo. The game begins anew. You wanted talk? You've got it. I want to add more, but I can't do that until I know where I want to move. I should Appear myself in the waiting room to see how Nana is doing, not that I have anyone around to look. You asked for it bub
"Oh, yeah. I'unno, I was just kind of tired after Spark and felt like the big speech going in was more than enough, but if you want it so badly I can oblige!" Venia says, the smile of Malicious Compliance on her face. "I don't know if this is an Ire that gave up hope I'm talking to or if it's the Three Bug Stooges, I'll just assume the latter given that I can't really see Psi's leftovers stabbing themselves. Plus Ire doesn't sound like he'd have as big of a mouth as those freaks. But don't worry about it! I have every intention of pulling you three out of Ire's body, keep things straight. And then... Well, as you keep saying, there'll be a reunion, alright-burning in hell where you all belong!" Venia shouts. "We will fight and keep fighting, and we will never stop fighting until you are nothing! Your chances of victory are nonexistent, you piece of shit!" "Spherebreakers! Tilted Scale is about to go down! When it does-give 'em hell!" Turn order is, roughly, Calypse -> Gibbet -> Anyone else targeting Tilted Scale -> Anyone targeting the regular enemies -> anyone targeting WARE. Latter two can probably be combined into one block. Gibbet is asked to fly to W22 and soar into the vortex at W23, depositing at G4. They use Glitch Noose on the 1st Pillager-this does not quite void their threat but definitely dampers it and puts them on a timer. Gibbet then uses Super Big Cutty on Tilted Scale. It is unknown how Gibbet feels about this. Xavier moves to K8 and uses both of his actions to respawn God Hand 2, and uses his item action to throw a Pancera at God Hand 4, dispelling its Doomed. His God Hands teleport accordingly: God Hand 3 remains in its location, God Hand 1 teleports to K10, and God Hand 4 teleports to L10. The trio of Hands basic attack Tilted Scale. Meanwhile, Venia will wait for Tilted Scale to die. She uses her moves to shove Blossom2 to V21, then moves herself to S21, behind Cover from WARE, before firing a bog-standard basic attack in his face. Nullifier is a sad thing when Venia's build isn't a third of what it normally is without it... |

<ROUND 337>
Shelly winces at Vulcan's mutterings. Perhaps a little listlessly, Shelly then mutters a few things to herself. Some kind of unfair advantage? Were Vulcan listening, she wouldn't be able to make heads or tails of it. So she continues her mutterings, uninterrupted. VULCAN: ...His vessel only houses one. VULCAN: The other vessels shine too brightly... She drags her rapier across the ground, the faint light of Ordo enveloping its blade. There's a gentle scraping, but no real reaction of sorts. What's she looking for? JOE does a lot of crafting! First, some amount of wood is turned into simple paper cover tiles. 3 Paper Barriers created! Then, 9 Plasteel Ingots are made into... a weirdly flexible trap of sorts, which we'll call a Slapbracelet Prison. 10 Sanctified Rounds are then ground into something he calls "Purification in a Bottle", which seems really unsafe but okay. He then... falls flat on his face as he attempts to craft another item. Seems like that's a bit too much effort for a day... or just too many crafts. He's still able to politely ask Chloe to go and grab a variety of Tier 1 Elemental Crystals, which she does in record time! +8 to all Tier 1 Crystals! How's she doing this while she's in the Sphere, though? CHIBI CHLOE: ... CHIBI CHLOE: :D Ah. It's a Chibi Chloe doing the work. Of course. Keane questions what happened to all the cash. Chaos spontaneously manifests within sight range of him, throwing a rock up and down. CHAOS: i[t]'s [c]alled [c]api[t]alism baby CHAOS: anyway, you wan[t] a ro[c]k [t]oo kid CHAOS: [t]his one [c]osts 15k CHAOS: be[c]ause... Chaos pulls out a sharpie, and draws a simple happy face on the rock. CHAOS: [t]his one is a [c]olle[c][t]or's pie[c]e CHAOS: i [c]all him he[c][t]or CHAOS: be[c]ause i'm unoriginal CHAOS: wan[t] i[t]? ...Hector is truly a valuable rock. He must be acquired. Must. The Reflector drops into the Sphere Waiting Room. Marron perks up, waving to them. Perhaps they'll come over? She continues to sit against Asha's legs, her mood having recovered just a little. MARRON: Oh, hey. MARRON: Is the Scion in there? I wanna say hi. MARRON: And maybe, if Chloe and Ette get pulled down here too, we can catch up on the game we were meant to play! Marron wants to be gay, but in a tabletop game. A very important thing to want. Asha decides she wishes to rejoin the fray! She plays with Marron's hair as she considers these things, the seamstress blushing gently. But... also, what about games? MARRON: Mmm, alright... MARRON: Be safe, Toaster! MARRON: And go kick WARE's butt for me! MARRON: When you get back though, we've gotta play that Pathfinding thingy! Pathfinding. That's the name, right? Sakura and Blacklight meander around verbally. Sakura blinks once, then twice. SAKURA: Hey. Question. SAKURA: What the gorilla are we talking about, anymore? SAKURA: If you're making a point, you're sure as hell taking a long time to get to it. SAKURA: C'mon. Make up your mind. She sits up from the couch, threatening to flick Blacklight in his maybe-corporeal forehead if he doesn't get to the point. If there's a point to be made. Analogies are confusing, and Sakura is losing her patience. Waiting? Coming to a proper answer? How absurd. Meanwhile, down in the abyss that is the basement of the Citadel, Lato and Marron are left with a looming question; what do they do now? Especially if he's not going to recover right away. Marron pauses and thinks. What would a good and reasonable person do right now? What would... Ette do right now? Actually, she's pretty sure Ette would be on-board with waking this guy up. But, hmm... MARRON: Uh... MARRON: Maybe we can like... bring them to the temple? I think there's like, a lot of healer-people there. People who can take care of them, and who's first instinct isn't to... throw them at a plant or something. MARRON: ...You're gonna need to lift them, though. I'm like, kinda short. And not great at lifting. MARRON: I'd probably bump their head along the spinny staircase and give them cerebral hemorrhaging or something. MARRON: So. Yeah. How to carry someone up a spiral staircase, though? Surely, this is the most difficult task Lato has ever had to face. Not even Marron's brain running at full capacity can figure out how to do this without causing multiple casualties. Or without exhausting her tiny lil' frame. The gardener is made of wood, after all. That's kinda heavy. Next up, Calibri rushes off after Daikon, who is speedrunning the reunion arc with Droplet. Can't the man slow down? He has time manipulation powers! Why does he need to rush? Or maybe that's the exact reason he is rushing. Calibri does his best to explain exactly what just happened. Chaos gave him a time machine to kill Sir Isaac Newton, Herrscher of Physics, but he decided to use said time machine to negate Daikon's death. Also, the time police may or may not be after him. This probably shouldn't have worked in any way at all. Droplet stares somehow literal daggers into Calibri's eyes. Tiny ones made of her emotions, but still. DROPLET: SO. Let me get this straight. DROPLET: YOU PLUCKED MY BOYFRIEND FROM TIME, SAVING HIS LIFE. DROPLET: That's... yeah, a good thing. DROPLET: ahem DROPLET: AND THEN YOU LEAVE ME TO BELIEVE HE'S DEAD FOR MULTIPLE DAYS INSTEAD OF USING YOUR TIME TRAVEL gorilla TO RETURN HIM TO ME, CAUSING ME YEARS WORTH OF AGONY!? DROPLET: Y-YOU gorillaHOLE! GO AND SUCK A HUGE- Daikon shifts his position forward in timespace a little, warping right next to Droplet. He immediately pulls her into a hug, leaning in to give her a deep kiss. Calibri is left standing there as a third wheel. Iti can kiss? That's a new one. They're even holding hands, oh god. That's the least acceptable part of all of this. Daikon pulls away from Droplet, leaving her speechless and blushing. DROPLET: D-Don't... t-think that absolves you either, h-honey. DROPLET: W-We have... a lot to talk a-about. DROPLET: B-But you. Calibri. Y-You can... g-go. DROPLET: Just. Leave. DAIKON: ...She means thanks. DROPLET: dear, please stfu DROPLET: B-But... y-yeah. DROPLET: Thanks. I-I... guess.[/color] Wordlessly, she takes Daikon by the hand, leading him into a sideroom. Calibri soon feels a tugging on his leg. It's a very, very sleepy Yume. With no hands on the flute they found / evolved, they doot happily, if somewhat quietly. With their other free hand, they grant Calibri a small token of their appreciation. Dreamer's Sketch obtained! It's a... crayon sketch. Though, holding it makes them feel rather sleepy. Perhaps this is for more than just hanging up on a fridge? Finally, Lato chucks a canister of liquid nitrogen at a pool of Thyme Matter. It inexplicably explodes into a cloud of frost, freezing the Thyme Matter solid. Apparently, Thyme Matter can freeze. Cool! Literally! Auth talks down (up?) to WARE. How dare they describe the Eliti as mere pawns? Such a mindset will bring nothing good to him. WARE responds by placing a Seeker right in front of the Author, and then striking it from orbit with a barrage of ACME brand anvils. WARE: We cannot care less. WARE: Without me, they would not have life. WARE: Does it not make sense that they should die for me, their creator? WARE: I am their god. Their lives are mine to play with. WARE: Some may struggle against god, but what are they to do? WARE: They cannot kill something so far above them. WARE: They cannot kill something you came here to save. Auth then promptly revives a fair portion of the party. WARE is unimpressed. Unintimidated. Unsomethingelse. WARE: As if this was not calculated. WARE: Your resources, your powers... they're all limited. WARE: Spark knew this. We knew this. WARE: Now that your power is spent, how will you hold against the inevitable end? WARE immediately prepares to kill another five or so members of the party. I mean, I don't know how many he'll kill this round, but I'm assuming at least two. Venia opens her big mouth. WARE shudders existentially. Though, who is she talking to, exactly? A Descendant who's given up hope? Or one of the "Three Bug Stooges", members of a legendary comedy group who's performances all end in a violent death? WARE: We simply are one and the same. WARE: We are Ire. We are the child of Psi. WARE: You are talking to the greatest being to ever exist, waiting for you to exterminate its rogue element. WARE: The relationship is not equal. WARE: His existence is too tightly coupled to mine. WARE: I do not require him. But he requires I. WARE: Every strike, this shell grows closer to breaking. WARE: We shall shatter, and from the ashes I will rise. WARE looms over Venia, looking down on her as if she were but a lowly fly, whose last embers of life were slowly dying out. Not an inkling of sympathy looms in any of the triad eyes. And yet, thymium tears drip from the rightmost eye, piercing through the shroud that veils WARE's face. <HEART OF THE SPHERE, ROUND 5> WARE's form begins to distort, their programmatic body shuddering and beginning to break apart. From the cracks in their form, crimson eyes peer through, twitching and spasming. The eye protruding from their forehead recedes back into their body. WARE begins to speak to themselves. WARE: ...Stop this foolishness. WARE: You're being childish. WARE: You've witnessed the deaths of your creations hundreds, if not thousands of times. WARE: Why would it be any different now? WARE: But, if you're going to throw a temper tantrum... that anger. WARE: USE IT. LET THEM KN<0>W H<0>W Y<0>U FEEL. WARE: Y<0>U ARE A DESCENDANT. A DESTR<0>YER <0>F ALL THAT IS G<0><0>D. WARE: ELIMINATE THEM. WARE unleashes a shriek, their chair accelerating to speeds not processable by the human eye. He creates afterimages of himself as he rushes around the room, creating the illusion of there being hundreds of copies of himself. These blitz through the party's ranks, slashing at everyone with a wicked sharp scythe made from wood. These copies all converge on the same location, fusing into one as WARE returns to a standstill. WARE: I can sense it. You enjoyed that. WARE: So. Why do you hold me back? I know you've been trying. WARE: But, why bother? Don't fight against the inevitable. WARE: Grant me more control. Allow my power to grow. WARE: Let me into your heart. From WARE's throne, six crimson butterfly wings rip from the throne, bursting through solid oak. Splinters rain across the arena. The crimson eye re-surfaces from their forehead, scanning the party. With this, WARE's resistances have changed! Be ready to adapt to the ever-changing circumstances he'll throw your way! And, with Longform active... you'll need to balance both damage and survival! -------------------- |

MirrorJOE Swift-casts Terraform(Fortified for Hexagon, power well for keklechaos2, ...farmland! for yggcrawler. Not sure if there's a 4th tile If MirrorJOE is still alive, it cherry energies the yggcrawler and retreats to V3. MainJOE cherry energies MirrorJOE if MirrorJOE hasn't died yet, harvests the Manablooms in the corner with his item action, and casts Mirror Image to X4. Also, I don't think MainJOE got a fruit for casting Illusory Trap last round, and casting Mirror Image should likewise give him his roundly Fruit. MainJOE then spends 4 GP for Goneblossom3. Destroyer2 uses Further Mutation again to gain the Barrier Spines passive, drinks a Detachment Draught, then picks MainJOE as its Symbiote target for now. [Trash-talking WARE because he wants that I think] "well you tree man, apparently you think our powers are all measured and limited, but you failed to account for the power of FARMING." "with FARMING, every time we FARM one of your Iti UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, it drops A COMPLETELY AMBIGUOUS QUANTITY OF RESOURCES. since even we don't know how much we're FARMING and sometimes it just kinda doesn't work, there's no way you could measure our capabilities of FARMING. I'm clearly the protagonist here, because if your argument is true, FARMING is the road to salvation. Thank you for this Farm, incidentally! It's very nice and indeed what I wanted" [Overworld] [Craft1] First up, Knowledgeable! rather than use a helix tome like planned before, JOE decides to use actually useful knowledge, heading to the Eclipsed Citadel. There, he finds countless historical documents about incidents and battles, borrows a few, and sits down at the free desk. after reviewing several documents of tactics and jotting down summaries of everything he thought was notable, he returns the documents and excuses himself to a toilet stall, the proper place for what's to come. ensconced in the stall, he takes out a brainburn crystal and looks at it, setting his mind on fire! Before the fire can do much of note, he eats a psychoid seed and a psychoid leaf, drinks a bucket of saltwater he mixed another psychoid leaf into, and then vomits into the bucket, using the psychoid psychic powers to channel his knowledge into the leaf in the saltwater, thus creating a bucket of Knowledgewater! By drinking this water, Anyone can gain Knowledgeable! ... There are consumable items made of Thyme Matter from a bath. Which you drink. Vomit is nothing. But nonetheless, anticipating odd reactions, JOE then uses that infusion altar in zone 1 to transfer this property to a bucket of non-vomited water. [resources consumed: possibly a brainburn crystal, 1x psychoid seed, 2x psychoid leaf, 2x saltwater bucket.] [Craft2] Next up, eleblight. But crystal bombshells are boring and also JOE doesn't know how they work, so fully generic elemental blights aren't a thing he can get to right now. Thus, he goes for the simplest of the Eleblights to apply first- or rather, the simplest duo: 'Glacblight' and 'Toniblight'. All you need is a water balloon! unfortunately there are no balloons available. except one set! Bileprincess sacks! JOE takes a Bileprincess sack out of the inventory; carefully slices it into smaller sections using the incredibly sharp Will Of The Crops; uses Wire scraps and green sap as a sort of makeshift thread+sealant in order to make the smaller sack-patches into whole (smaller) sacks, and then fills each sack with water. they all leak pretty badly, but they hold water well enough to put in the inventory for later, and are stretched far enough to pop on impact, soaking the target, which the shallow water tile tells us is enough for ice and electric blight! [Resources consumed: 1? Bileprincess sack, some infinite-number resources. maybe some bottled bottled water.] |

In The Final
In spite of WARE's taunting, Adria keeps her mouth shut. She has nothing to say to them. It's as if she's trying to make herself not stand out. Adria's Exosuit swings its sword at the Arbiter to remove a shield. She then pilots it to (F5) via Vortex and lets loose an Overclocked RAC. Targets are as ollows: -Traktor Cannon on (X19), removing a shield from the Arbiter and shoving the Cinders next to it into water. -Traktor Cannon on (O4), shoving the Cinders into the abyss, killing them -Traktor Cannon on (D6), shoving the Cinder into the water. It does not move the Everbloom. -Light Laser Turrets on Cinder 4. -Traktor Cannon on (Z7), moving the Cinder there into water. -Twin Railcannons on Cinder10. Hope we get a crit! If Shallow Water is the same as Water for the purposes of the Cinder's passive, instead use Traktor Cannon to shove into Shallow Water. -Underwing Cannons at (S24) in case Cinder10 didn't die. If it did die, Stratoshield on Ette, Elveil set to Fire. -Stratoshield on Hexagon, Elveil set to Fire Adria then casts Symbiote on the Exosuit, using Automana to restore 30 MP to do so. After casting, she gains Uninspired4. She then uses Accelerate to reduce its duration to 2. (2 Chronodust spent) The Symbiote uses Hardened Carapace, giving the Exosuit Bonus SHP and Mending. The Tem Mist uses the Engineered Burrito in the inventory, gaining Mending30 and Empowered8 for tems lifetime. Tem then uses Onrush, attacking Cinder4. Having enough damage to oneshot the other Cinders, tem then attacks Cinder5 and Cinder3 in that order, killing each of them, and then attacking Everbloom2 and landing at (J17). Tem then uses The EGO Inside Me, before Basic Attacking West, killing Everbloom2 outright. Tem then stays there, sitting pretty with tems Empowered20. /working -------------------- "...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."

BATTLES - SHOVELWARE
Star flies to (L24) and switches to Star form on Sol Ultima. They basic attack Ette (benefitting from Fervent Emotion and +40% damage from their trait). If Ette is not fully healed yet, they throw an Infinisyringe at Ette. They then retreat to (K26), and if their item action is unused, they eat an Infinipizza. WAITING ROOM The Reflector does not acknowledge Hannah's acknowledgement of their prep. It's probably a bomb. They do acknowledge Marron's question, though. "CHLOE": Wait, really? "THE SCION": You... remembered? "THE SCION": I'm glad... But I don't know if we'll ever get the chance... "THE SCION": After all, it's the end. -------------------- |
