Calibri moves to E11 and places an Illusory Trap at C13, then he just sort of stands where he is and shrugs.

<ROUND THIRTY>
Simeon tosses together 2 Gallow Feather Shafts and his scabbard, creating a somewhat larger scabbard for himself. He then slips in Chloe's Thymecursed Sword into one of the new slots, causing the whole thing to glow! He then moves to the Way Forward. Mr. Krabs then +2's his SPC, and swaps his secondary weapon to the Splintercast. He then checks out the nearby houses for signs of life... and (probably) luckily for him, they're empty. Terry then talks with the Informant.

INFORMANT: Entropic corruption. Yes.
INFORMANT: I'm sure one of you mentioned that before.
INFORMANT: And... wait, how'd I even THREATEN one of his crushes?
INFORMANT: Don't tell me; he's in love with a Chairian, isn't he? He does know that their bodies aren't really... "compatible" with other species, right?
INFORMANT: Honestly. I bet he doesn't even know much of their cultural standards...

Toast then does a wide variety of things, starting with teaching Chloe some magic. She pulls out her phone in response.

CHLOE: A-Ah! Sorry if this looks bad... but I don't really have much else to jot notes down on!
[small][small]CHLOE: Nine out of ten teachers will put a bullet through your head without the slightest pang of remorse if they catch you with your phone out...[/small][/small]
CHLOE: Just... let me... and... There!

She puts away her phone, then also takes the page of rules that Toast offered her.

CHLOE: Thanks, Toast!
CHLOE: Hopefully, I'll be able to make use of this!
CHLOE: ...S-Sorry in advance if I, um, mess this up! First time magic user here.

...Chloe promptly levels up! Her current trait, Inexperienced, promptly vanishes. She then gains the ability to select a new trait... which she'll decide at the end of the round, because voting on Discord. Her old medical skill, First Aid, has also been added to the Character Creation screen! She then opts to follow Toast to the Way Forward, hiding from sight as Toast reveals her (illusory) self to Acacia...

...Toast's illusion is met with nothing but contempt from Acacia, who's completely unfazed by this lone soldier that's come up to meet her. Her fellow soldiers raise their weapons to attack, but are quelled with a single wave of Acacia's arms.

ACACIA: Let's just wait for one second. Maybe this'll be cute.

Toast goes on to explain that she's the strongest member of the Outsiders, and that she's here to convince them to move on, unharmed.

ACACIA: Oh. It was cute.
ACACIA: Anyway... why are you here? All alone. It'd be effortless to just... blast you in two.

Toast answers with that conditional she wrote earlier. She laughs when Toast mentions that everyone else wouldn't stand a chance against her.

ACACIA: Oh, wouldn't they now?
ACACIA: Actually, we've received several testimonies that directly contradict what you've just said.
ACACIA: There was a cart full of them, actually. They talked about how you effortlessly wiped out their checkpoint without suffering any losses.
ACACIA: There was also one poor soul who was driven completely insane- we assume it was to forced mind control. Actually, we KNOW it was mind control; I'm not gorillaing stupid.
ACACIA: People don't just call the gorillaing Highchair in a panic, then suddenly change tone mid-conversation. I bet you felt clever doing that.
ACACIA: And then there was the scan, showing off some of your magical potential; honestly, you're all too big a threat to keep alive.
ACACIA: Heh. You're far from weak. We all know that.
ACACIA: You might say that I'm actually intrigued to see how you'll do.

Toast then tosses down the Gallow's head. There's some shocked gasps from the crowd, including Taeda!

TAEDA: W-Wah!? You actually killed the Gallow!?
TAEDA: That's... That's amazing!
TAEDA: U-Um...
TAEDA: A-Acacia!

Acacia turns to face Taeda, unamused. Her voice holds the most potent of venoms...

ACACIA: Taeda. I am in the middle of something.
ACACIA: This had better be good.
TAEDA: E-Eek!

She's stunned into silence. Acacia raises her voice.

ACACIA: Hm? Nothing to say?
ACACIA: Well, then why'd you bother grabbing my attention?
TAEDA: N-No, wait!
TAEDA: I... I-I think that they're g-good people!
TAEDA: W-We don't need to fight them! They've-

ACACIA: They've razed an outpost. Yes. Good people. Helpful people.
ACACIA: I'm going to politely ask you to shut the gorilla up before I execute you myself.
TAEDA: Y-Y-Yes, Lady A-Acacia.

Taeda stands completely still, arms to her sides. She's sweating... droplets of sap. Acacia proceeds to pull out a scanner, and promptly analyzes the illusion.

ACACIA: Alright. Says here that you're a team player.
ACACIA: Makes me wonder what you're doing, treading out here by yourself...
ACACIA: So. What are you planning? Of course, what you're planning doesn't matter...
ACACIA: ...if I kill you where you stand.

Acacia grabs her staff, and holds it up into the air. Toast can feel the ground trembling beneath her- in fact, judging by the reactions of the army, everyone can feel the vibrations. A voice cuts through the rumbling, prompting Acacia to stop her channeling.

TAEDA: N-NO! DON'T DO IT!

Acacia gives Taeda a smile. Of course, it's not of the nice sort.

ACACIA: Taeda. Here's a few words for you to meditate on for the remainder of your life.
TAEDA: W-Wait! P-Please, I didn't mean to-
ACACIA: Did I.
ACACIA: gorillaing.
ACACIA: STUTTER!?

The tip of Acacia's staff promptly morphs into a spear. Using it in what's totally the intended way, she slams into Taeda, sending her spinning through the air into one of the nearby houses. There's a resounding bang, and the collapsing of the house. With her plaything disposed of, Acacia gives this same smile to Toast.

ACACIA: Anyway. Shall we prepare for combat?
ACACIA: Go on. I'll give you a chance before I snuff your light out.
ACACIA: It'll be fun, see?
ACACIA: Hopefully, you don't die before my little "surprise" gets here.
ACACIA: Spark sent it. It's a present from him.
ACACIA: Anyway, this is farewell then, isn't it...?

You are accosted by...

[big][big][big][big]ACACIA[/big][/big][/big][/big]
The Chairwitch

PLAY - Dear Metallia (The Witch and the Hundred Knight)

The Man then talks with the Informant, asking about a briefcase.

INFORMANT: Briefcases? Yeah, I've seen them around.
INFORMANT: Do you have a specific one in mind? If you do, you're gorillaing crazy and I can't help you.

JOE then tries to send a bot to inspect the ruined houses, but Acacia ends up seeing it.

ACACIA: Oh, cute.
ACACIA: Blip.

A storm of splinters ends up filling the bot, sending it crashing to the ground. You can't win them all. Especially if the same little robots are your response to literally everything. The Author then decides to craft his Fallen Garb using the Gallow Wing and... actually, it seems like that's all his crafting used! His second bit of crafting yields the Abyssal Catalyst, making usage of a Shadow Crystal, 2 Goneblossoms, 1 Iron Ingot, and 2 panes of Hardened Glass, taking 40 Credits.

...Then, given the results of the voting, Chloe learns Blade Lock!

<THE SET, ROUND THREE>
It seems like you've pulled most of your higher-DPS characters. This may or may not have been a pretty bad idea, but you still should be able to pull through! If not, you can always perform a tactical retreat, and come back later. Reisz won't be going anywhere. Anyway, if you have Splash attacks, it'd be wise to toss them in Reisz's general direction.

<THE WAY FORWARD, ROUND ONE>
Oh boy. Acacia has some INCREDIBLY powerful attacks, and an absolutely monstrous trait. Don't let her see you; if you're out in the open during her turn, she'll likely blast you to bits! Be careful!

Auth gathers materials. Before a big fight (which is coming), he wants to prepare some better equipment than his basic garbage.

First, he...

CRAFTING 1 START!

Fallen Garb (T2)
Come, come, do not let me die.

Stat Changes: (+4 MMP)(+2 INT)(+1 SPC)
Resistances: Dark (40%)Piercing (-20%)
Bonus Effects: (One Winged Angel) - Reduces MP restored by Meditation to 25%, but, once per battle, you may be attacked while Meditating, and restore the full 25% MP.

Materials Used: Ebon Cloak, Gallow Wing, Gallow Feather Shaft (x1), Feather Rope Coil (x3), Aurora Crystals (x1), Gallowsdown Fluffballs (x5).

...Uses the Feather Shaft he acquires as a make-shift needle, placing an eye within it using his conductor's baton. Using the Sharpening Kit, he makes the end of the feather-shaft a sharp point. Then, he splays the coat he was wearing until recently upon something flat. Using his new sewing needle, he makes an incision along the back of his coat, right where the right shoulder-blade is. He places the lifeless wing beside it, and forcefully smooths off the end of it, and curves the end both so that the wing will stay in his coat, and not stab into his back. Then, he make a slot for an Aurora Crystal. As fire brings destruction, it also brings knowledge and nurtures life. Thus, the wing springs back to life - slightly. It's not going anywhere.

Auth places the wing into the slot made for it in his coat, then makes three more incisions. In order to stop the wing from suffocating him, he'll need to restrain it. He places three of the Feather Nooses into the slots, unties them, and uses the feather rope as a rope to hold the wing in place. Once bound, the wing decides to stop flailing around, and goes to a folded, default position. Auth then uses the Gallow Needle for its intended purpose. He takes the fluffballs formed of Gallowdown, and twists them into a thread. Using 5 of these fluffballs, he has enough thread to use.

With all the skill of a talented tailor, stitches the new additions to his coat into place. They shouldn't be coming loose, and Auth tests this by putting the coat back on. Everything seems fine, for now.

Auth takes a breather, to think about his recent adventure, but then a red blast fires towards him. The wing wraps around his front, and takes the brunt of the blast. Auth is reassured that everything he intended to use the resources for is going well.

CRAFTING 1 COMPLETE!

During the brief period between craftings, Auth sends a spectre, bearing the Iron Pickaxe made before, to run over to the Gold Vein in the Forest of Departure. It uses the pickaxe, obviously, to mine as much of the gold vein as it can, as quickly as possible. When the Sentences surrounding the vein inevitably try to hang it, it takes all the gold it could get and returns to Auth. On the way, it actually runs right past Auth and goes and buys two lots of Hardened Glass from the Drone over at the Ruins.

Hopefully it got some.
CRAFTING 2, START!

Abyssal Catalyst (T2)
Converts Lifeforce into a larger pool to draw from.

Effects: (+2 MP Regen) (-2 MHP)

Materials Used: Ink Catalyst, Shadow Crystal (x1), Goneblossom (x2), Gold Ingot (x2) (If aquired, else Iron Ingot (x2)), Hardened Glass (x2)

Auth first breaks the Shadow Crystal into pieces, and places them around the Ink Catalyst. It, almost as if alive in some way, reaches out with black threads and absorbs the pieces of crystal. Once they've all been taken, it gains an effect similar to that which the Shadow Crystal had before, but leaves residue behind after it has come into contact with something. Auth examines the new crystal. It makes everything around it glow, by seeming to draw the darkness around it, on other objects, into itself. Auth draws pitch black ink from it, working just like it did before.

Of course, it can work better. Auth pounds the two Goneblossoms he has into a fine powder, which he pours over the newly formed Crystal. It consumes the powder ravenously. It grows, slightly, as though a small animal which has just been fed. Perhaps this crystal consumes dark energies? Anyway, Auth smiles, as this was actually the effect he wanted. He knows, though, that he should restrain it somehow. He makes a cast of the crystal, and using that cast, makes a metallic outline of his case for it, outlining each side of the shape of the crystal. Using the glass he bought, he fills in these lines, keeping the dark energies contained.

Auth then caps off the outside of the Catalyst's casing with spikes at the top and bottom of the octahedron-shaped crystal. He shoves it back into his pocket, accidentally cutting his finger on the crystal. He's feeling significantly, more tired after the process, and brings the crystal back out to look at any damage he might've done. There's no blood on the outside casing... but the crystal itself has gained a slight tint of red.

CRAFTING 2 COMPLETE!

Auth then ducks into the forest in De Wey Forward, and clenches his teeth and fists as he sees somebody bullying Taeda. Auth would like Acacia to, as the memes put it, "stop it no bulli".

The illusion looks puzzled when Acacia talks about the Thymescapers being more capable than Toast is making them out to be. "Wait... so you're saying that any of us could beat you? (i was paying you a compliment jeez) If that's the case, maybe I should just save my energy and hand this fight over to someone else. In the meantime, is there anyone here that could give me some practice."
She sweeps a single finger gun across the detachment of Charians, before stopping at the second Cannoneer.
"How about you?" she offers, "You seem more capable than your magical girl leader, so I'll designate you as team captain. Let's go: you and the rest of your squadron vs me. It's more fun if I don't have allies, since then I won't have to worry about hitting them by mistake."
The illusion moves to H8.

Acacia also gives Toast a chance before [she snuffs her] light out. The illusion is unfazed.
"Oh, giving me the first move? That's pretty bold, considering you've only just met me. I'll pass, but I'm sure you wouldn't mind if I handed it over to someone else.
...Ever heard of railgun diplomacy?"

Illusion1 smiles knowingly. The second illusion stays put among the trees.

Meanwhile, from inside the house, Toast mirrors the illusion's smile, consumes a Waterdrank, then

Elsewhere from these events, still within sight of the Thymium Field, sitting nearby some simple rocks on a yawning prairie, a young idiot who's lost absolutely everything furiously types into a computer, then repetetively backspaces his own words.

cU: ...SON OF A...ffffffutz. I hate that total birch!...

Tazz's term as a First Guardian ended rather abruptly. The machine just cut off, and he found himself back in his normal body like Yuuki-Chan was a complete perverted dream-though some part of him feels that it wasn't. He hasn't seen a sign of Roxxanne or Twin, and as much as he may dislike the former for previous actions, he still worried about her-and especially Twin. He would readily admit that, no matter how much Twin beats himself up for his performance, that Twin was infinitely better at his job than Tazz ever was. Roxxanne did love to rant about First Guardian 'incompetence,' and Tazz had a terrible feeling that she was right.

He had jack shit of a clue what was going on anymore. The English Eye was being staunchly adamant about giving any good advice on the greater picture, as usual, and his First Guardian Powers had been politely revoked (thankfully not through the unexpected medium of being drained of fire). Godmodding wasn't doing much to divine what was going on, either, but when that's happening, you pretty much know that shit is about to go down in an explosive way.

Thus, Tazz is now running around, attempting to recruit as many Descendants as possible for whatever upcoming catastrophe was happening. Cliche as hell, he knows. His current party, for the curious, consists of his reuinted SBURB players, his once-intended assassin turned queer ally due to the incredible circumstances, and of course, the big fat AU-Ursine himself, Golden Freddy. Of those, however, only the last of these are actually awake.

gF:: I PRESUME THAT SOME OTHER FACET OF THE CHAIRIANS HAS IGNITED YOUR IRE ANEW? HAH. IRE.
cU: Apparently the Chairian Military allows full-blown executions for raising your voice. I know military work is harsh, but that's just flatly illegal! After we've proven we're honestly helping their asses! If this is Chairian Diplomacy, we might as well just call all of this a lost cause...
gF: YOU KNEW THOSE MOTHERgorillaERS WOULDN'T BE SO HOT TO gorilla ALONGSIDE ANYONE NOT MADE OF CHAIRS AFTER THE WHOLE DEBACLE WITH IRE.
cU:You don't have to repeat it, pal, but you'd think they'd be rather chilled after all that's happened to them at the hands of outsiders, no?
gF: A QUESTION. YOU WERE THERE FOR WHEN THE CHAIR GOD WAS SUMMONED. HE WAS SUMMONED WITH WITNESSES, WAS HE NOT? YOU COULD REVIVE THEM.
cU: Godcraft is, at best, a fucking bedrock cube, and at worst, atomized. The odds of that are... Waitaminute.

Tazz's hair continues to block out his eyes from direct sight, though the glowy-ass glow of the English Eye pours through regardless.

cU:...Why do I always feel like I'm completely useless on my own?"
gF: CUT THE SELF-DEPRESSIVE gorilla. IN ANY CASE, I PRESUME THERE'S SOME NEWFOUND LOOPHOLE THAT YOU MAY NOW EXPLOIT TO RESURRECT A CHAIRIAN AND GET A SANE PERSON'S TAKE ON IRE'S POINT OF VIEW. THEN WE CAN FINALLY SUBVERT THIS WHOLE FUCKING STUPIDITY OF NOT BEING IN THE SPHERE AT ALL BY HAVING A PROXY.
cU: Freddy I already have a proxy.
gF: ...GODgorillaIT WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME.
cU: I suppose it's irrelevant either way. All the Chairians that went to help Ire for the MBOA died. A bit of void-travel shenanigans with the Moorblade, and bang! We're right back to around the time of the MBOA or Act 4 where we can stealth-revive 'em without much fuss.
cU: I'm not sure if the Narrative would allow a Resurrection of the Chair god outright-we might get lucky. More likely than not, though, we'll just get some of the rank-and-file Chairians, but that could be a start. Better than just sitting here.
gF: THIS BRINGS ME TO A POINT. PERHAPS THIS IS JUST A NARRATIVE DEVICE TO ENSURE THAT PEOPLE OTHER THAN ME UNDERSTAND, BUT gorilla THAT, I DON'T gorillaING UNDERSTAND. WHY ARE WE HERE?
cU: That's some pretty deep philosophical stuff right there-
gF: gorilla NO, I MEAN, WHY ARE WE CHOOSING TO SIT AROUND BY THESE ROCKS IN SIGHT OF THE SPHERE? WHAT TACTICAL VALUE DO THESE ROCKS HOLD?
cU: Oh. Uh, yeah, that. Probably got some narrative spotlight if we're talking about stuff this obvious... IN any case, ehehehe.
cU: Fellow Descendants (I think Anti-Godmodder doesn't cut it here), I KNOW you can see us-hear us-at this critical juncture, so I have a bit of a message for you regarding the situation.
gF: TAZZ DO NOT GO INTO A GODgorilla YEAR LONG EXPOSITION HERE. DO NOT.
cU: OK, OK!
cU: To get to the heart of it-I'm here as a last ditch form of backup.
cU: Godmodding and Waluigi Thyme are both methods of manipulating the Plot on some level. Their powers can work together, or against, one another with surprising levels of success due to this.
cU: What this means is that WARE cannot use his powers over the Thyme to nerf me, as an Alpha Godmodder. The weakest of all, but he still can't do it, even if he focuses exlucsively on doing so.
cU: However, I theorize that the Chaos Butterfly inside WARE isn't gonna take too kindly to such, and I also theorize that WARE is completely capable of breaking out of that wooden cocoon whenever he pleases-that his imprisonment there is Ire's attempt at delaying the worst.
cU: The Chaos Butterfly likely has most of the control over his mind, though, so... If I were to step into the sphere, make myself a threat to WARE, it'd likely blow up the planet.
cU: I've put myself here as a last resort-in case you guys somehow can't reach WARE, I'm gonna put up my own fight against WARE in a last-ditch attempt to save existence.
cU: Survey says it's doomed to fail, of course.
cU: But don't get me wrong, survey also says that you're going to succeed.
cU: Now please kick Acacia's hindquarters so hard that she becomes multiversal laughingstock. I see what you're doing, and I'm recording this for posterity.

----+----

Mr. Krabs doesn't look terribly pleased at the exploits he shouldn't logically be able to see, but nevertheless gets through a text-based interface. Mr. Krabs spawns in with Comet's Teleporter. He shifts to M3, then uses Terraform to create Cover at L2 and L4, as well as a Fortified Tile at M2, where Teag should be. He turns to Teag-"Fire at will, matey! Ahahahahaha!"

"Calamity, was that Taeda?"

Simeon rus over to The Way forward, and takes a preliminary look at the theatre of combat. Once again, this was no place for a swordfighter. He switches up his loadout, donning the Forest Mantle, and adds 1 skillpoint each to his defense and strength. He also picks up the Refined Recurve.

He enters the battle on L18, and sprints to F15. Dropping behind cover, he thinks things through.

"The Spider Riders. Last time, I got perforated. Avoid those."
"Bravado: a mistake. Play it safe this time, be calculating."
"Taeda. She saved my life, time to show her that she made the right choice."
"I'm behind cover, with a bow, with lots of enemies bearing down on my position. Been there, done that."

If he were the same person they met twenty minutes ago, he would've called out, "Alright, let's have a shootout!" However, he wasn't. Nearly dying really changes how someone lives.

Auth spawns on M18, moves to M15, opens up the chest, and then retreats to N16. Then, he slumps against the wall of the house, and looks at the l00t he just got.

They say that there's no rest for the wicked, until they close their eyes for good.

As someone wicked, fundamentally, I disagree. One may always repent. I may have done terrible things in the past. That's why I help this coward now.

"Growth. Profit. Grofit!?" - Frohd Bek
----
Terry walks into Da Wae Forward at exactly the same time that Acacia started her whole thing.

A red holographic projection of Tazz, and some text below him, appears on the very left of Terry's line of sight. The projection says:

"...Now please kick Acacia's hindquarters so hard that she becomes multiversal laughingstock. I see what you're doing, and I'm recording this for posterity."

"Okay, not-Spacemom."
----
Terry spawns at L18, moves to H16 (hiding behind cover), then uses Sipp.

waiting for the strange phenomenon of [his actions happen well after he's decided to do them and thought all of the movements] to finish, JOE opens up a HUD to check on his newest abyss walker.
...dead. because apparently using the same non-human body whenever the main body is occupied is much less creative then using your main body all the time like everyone else seems to love doing somehow.
Sadly, JOE cannot be in multiple places at once unless using Trion Form. because he only has one physical human body, and he doesn't have enough trion to use a non-human one for all his combat.
after Grumbling for approximately 14 minutes, he proceeds to call in a new soldier. next round... eh whatever. for now, 3 Tank-bots drop from the black sphere Border's keeping open at his request, before immediately having their "tank threads" replaced with legs from an abyss walker that doesn't have any weapons. scuttling towards the ancient ruins, they rev up their "drill fists", before arriving and climbing down into the black abyss holes in the floor. they do this in the top section with the fountain of dew. they then each, after going a fair distance down to the point where human eyes might mistake it from being night-time based on light level, they each start digging a platform out, then stand on it and expand it. before long, they have a underground area cleared out of roughly 3 meters of vertical space and its under H28- 32, I 29-31, G30-32, F31 &32, and E31.
the stone they mined in this manner is placed in the inventory. hopefully, this shall help toast. with like, things.
or something.
in battle, JOE then moves to 8F and meditates.

The Man goes over to The Way Forward, spawns in at N18, and moves on over to P16.

Boshi moves to (O11) and shoots a Hidden Shard at the Shuria. This should kill it outright, assuming RNG doesn't screw me. He then drinks a Rejuvinating Remedy.

-----

Somehow, Hat Kid saw the entire De Wey Forward scene take place. Camera Badge, ho! She... doesn't seem at all affected... or at least, she's trying her hardest not to show her disgust. She's failing, and it somehow made her look even more adorable. At least Boshi managed to keep his disgust in check; you could barely see it.

There's some further evidence of telepathy between Boshi and Hat Kid. Can't tell if that's merely interesting... or terrifying.

...And they both receive information about the Sphere, thanks to... some voice from the sky or something? Who knows, man... they tend to not keep up with recent advances in reality-bending tech and stuff.
Upon realizing that things were far more serious than they thought, the two of them immediately change from being disgusted into being utterly shocked. The sudden revelation for the reason everyone was here must've got to them pretty badly to give both Hat Kid and BOSHI, OF EVERY YOSHI EVER, a shock they won't soon forget. Actually, Boshi looks like he'll have a mental breakdown at any moment... I wonder why?

"(...n-no... this c-can't be happening...)"

Hat Kid looks equally morbid, as if her fears had all come true at once. Her cuteness level even decreases... very slightly.
She grips onto a seemingly empty hourglass tightly. She'll need to show her... other form... to the party sooner rather than later.

Whatever the case, they'll be saving their mental breakdown scene for after the fight.

Emerald moves to G15 and Shield Slams Reisz again. Hopefully his ZoC should prevent her from screwing around too much...

This Acacia person seems pretty evil! Better kill 'em!

Spawn at L18, move to I17. This counts as taking cover, right?
