Battle - Infested Mountain
Adria stands near emotionless in the face of the Fell God. It's falling. And she knows it is. ADRIA: One down. Take out the other one and then take out the skull and body. ADRIA: The right side is severely weakened. Finish it off. Adria moves to (T15) and throws a Healing Bomb at (P8). This should destroy the final Rib on the right, causing the right side to be starved of Migi. If the Right Claw is not dead or otherwise disabled by the end of the round, Adria applies a Glacialstem Remedy to the Right Claw. Seatopolis Hannah Hannah gives the Railsniper a thumbs-up. HANNAH: Thanks for the pointers. HANNAH: I'll see what I can do! Hannah's shadow detaches from herself once again and starts climbing up the Barracks. It shouldn't be too crazy now since almost everyone is vacated. Save for the Devout with a Ballista and a truly very dapper looking soldier in the back. Anyway, she climbs up the tower where the Scarlet and Maple are and greets them. HANNAH: Sup. HANNAH: Heard you might need more supplies, yeah? HANNAH: Let's see... For the Scarlets, Shadow!Hannah gives them 7 Carnival Corn Dogs (nobody needs to know where they came from), 4 Chairian Pastries, 3 Nutrient Snack Bars, and 3 Quick Foodstuffs. She also does up 10 meals of Spider Meat and Gaiaroot Potatoes really quickly, using 10 of each and giving them each a rapid cooking via some close-up application of Aurora Crystals. HANNAH: Should keep you girls going for a bit. HANNAH: I'm gonna be delivering some to the temple up north too. Meanwhile, Hannah proper starts towards the Temple. She inevitably stumbles upon the scene with Plana and Sakura again, with Sakura forcibly being whisked away. Well, that went south didn't it. She watches Echoss head over to the run-over Chairian and quickly messages him. HANNAH: Bring the injured person to the temple. There's healing going on over there. I plan to go there myself to donate some things. She then heads to the Temple of Helix, pushing her way past the crowds as necessary and entering. HANNAH: Donations!~ Hannah places 5 Rations, 3 Sapfilled Cookies, 4 Aurora Baked Potatoes, 4 Spiced Porridge, 2 Fruitcake Squares, 3 Yggcrawler Pie Slices, and 5 French Toasts. She also does up the same 10 Spider Meat and Gaiaroot Potato meals as before. ...Hannah looks down at the injured, almost ashamed she couldn't do more to help. She's done more killing than directly helping people recover, after all... That's when it hit her. This was the golden opportunity to ask how to properly doctor. Once the donations were complete, Hannah exits the temple and heads straight to Chi. HANNAH: Hey Chi. HANNAH: I was just at the temple, and I noticed a lot of injured over there. And, I was... wondering. HANNAH: Can you... teach me how to do doctor things? Or at least, show me? She patiently waits for a response. Adria The drone near the crater starts reforming the foundation of the house it's near with some of the nearby dirt. It's a slow process, considering it's using hardlight tools to dig and pack the dirt. Lucky they're disposable tools that can take a variety of forms. Meanwhile, the drone on top of the roof of the infested house covers up the hole with a few planks, leaving only a small hole at the top. It then flies to the front door and places some yellow caution tape on it. It also marks a sign to indicate "extermination required". It then flies away for the next project. Adria herself nods and smiles at the drones now having frontal displays. There's so much one can do with drones like that, but eyes are always a good idle display. She glances around the place again. ADRIA: Y-yeah, I don't like the implications one bit. ADRIA: Though I do have to commend the civilians for persevering even through all this. ADRIA: I suppose most on Earth would be much the same way. ADRIA: ...Even if I'd prefer everyone not having to resort to such in the first place. ...There really isn't much that needs doing. Everything's covered as of now. Well, besides actually entering the Citadel. ADRIA: Looks like everything urgent is covered for now. ADRIA: That situation over there has clued up, Hannah's dealing with food deliveries, I have drones around the place to do busywork, the crowds up ahead are dispersed. ADRIA: Let's meet with some of the others up ahead. Once we're all ready, we can properly storm the Citadel. Adria heads northwards to the Highchair group, looking the Citadel up and down. Mari presumably follows. She addresses them once she's near. ADRIA: What's the current situation regarding the Citadel? The Rest The Rosen Catacombs Michaela raises a finger to interject before being thrown out of the cell and made to witness the Sleuth's head explode. She facepalms. SHELLY: That. Is not what I meant. At all. SHELLY: I meant we should use already dead bodies for that instead of... that. SHELLY: i swear, these people sometimes... SHELLY: ...Ah well. Puzzles. SHELLY: Or... not. Echoss drops by and does his thing, making light of the situation that the prisoners might not have been fed yet. Michaela glares coldly around the room. SHELLY: Unless the rose prison guards that spontaneously appeared did so behind our backs for whatever reason, I'm doubtful. SHELLY: A severe oversight, honestly. SHELLY: Well, so be it. Prison duty it is. Have fun with the puzzle. Michaela, ever apathetic, sighs. Just as things were about to get exciting, too... She walks around the blocks, responding to the prisoners' needs (save for any means of escape); food and such. She specifically does Biflora last. When she does reach her, though, she gives her the iciest glare of all. And it comes from someone who looks extremely similar to Hannah, minus the mustache. She knows what she did. And Michaela's not happy about it. The House Dorothy bows back to the Yggcrawler before it trots off. Lutea then thanks her for the help and offers some food. Dorothy shakes her head at the latter. DOROTHY: A-ah, no problem! DOROTHY: A-and no, we're okay. Thank you, though! That being said, they're both still nearby, sitting on the edge of the roof. They look at the scenery and the Sphere as they relax. Little did they know they'll be getting a new visitor very soon. -------------------- "...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."

Verdana and Blacklight have gotten bored of standing around doing nothing, and so are on the move to go check things out. Verdana goes over to the wrecked wall, watching Dawn's repairwork for a while, and deciding he might as well try to help out. If he can. "...Hi! Need any help with that?" Blacklight, being averse to really bright things, decides to go further afield. Specifically, he goes out as far as the airship, since that's probably something to check out just in case. While over there, he notes the presence of someone he hasn't really met before. Not in his current independent form, at least. Might as well chat with her? "...Hmm. Hello. I don't believe we've met yet. At least, not like this. Who would you be?" ...He's still wearing the apron. But besides that detail, things are probably normal enough. "..." I can't think of anything for EN. Zone 6 It's far too late to turn back now, Calibri decides, so even if the situation seems very stupid to him... he shrugs. "Well, alright then. Wild to think I've got nearly 5000 credits worth of hotdogs on my head for the sake of annoying god, but... Weirder things have definitely happened to me." ...Some part of Calibri wonders what it'll be like once god actually does descend to smite chaos for doing all this. And probably Cal too, since he was an accomplice to it. Meanwhile, Lato is feeling rather satisfied with a job well done. Yay for diplomancy! She should really find more things to do now. "..." She's seen the Devout with a Ballista. That could be of interest. Lato quietly wanders over to watch for a moment, headtilting... "Do you... know how to use that?" Dropkick "...Huh. So that's how we're playing it, eh Drops?" Calibri adjusts his grip on the Azure Faith. "Fine. I hope you're ready to witness the full power of Spherebreaker coordination." Time to act. First up, Calibri jumps ahead of action order a bit to apply Judge and Jury's Focused10 + Lucky20 to himself and Star. Then... well, he has to wait. Calibri waits for Star to set up some vortex portals, and for Destiny to do her thing. Then, he moves through the vortex portal to O3-ish and takes a wild slash at Droplet7. Hopefully that's a kill confirmed... He retreats through the vortex again, settling on L13. (Or L14 if needed. Dual instance - triangle Turn order: Berg, then Acacia movement, then Cal and Remiel. "...Perhaps now is the time for a change of plan. There is a way to end this battle in one stroke..." Lato quietly sends a request for assistance out somewhere else, then waits for a moment. Soon enough, she vanishes. Her copy blinks, then glitches out and errornulls. "Huh. Someone's been mean to my sister, have they?" Calibri switches in. This is going to be interesting. "...Can't have that." He chuckles, then walks over to K8. There's a plan here... And it goes a little something like this. Calibri uses the Helix Relic on himself. Calibri uses a bonus action Forever Onward to give himself Ordo. Calibri uses Judge and Jury on Remiel. ...And I guess Protectorate can be assigned to Acacia or something it literally won't matter this late in the battle and with him only existing for one round regardless but- Either way. Calibri waits for Acacia and Remiel to not be in the way. Then, at the same time as Remiel's action, Calibri uses Salvation and fires a full power Resolution directly southwards. Wanna know what this does to the throne? Okay. (25-26) + buff level 30% = (32.5-33.8) (32.5-33.8) + 80% weakness = (58.5-60.84) (58.5-60.84) + 25% Final Modifier = (73.125-76.05) Round those off and apply AC = (70-73) And that hits a total of 7 times, so... (490-511) And that's at minimum, since there's pretty good odds for some crits. -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. Currently, you follow mine."

BATTLES - DROPLET
TURN ORDER: Star (move and purify) Calibri (Judge and Jury) Star (rest of turn) Bauhaus Destiny (Observe) Calibri (rest of turn) Destiny (rest of turn) Star moves to N16 and uses Quick Purity Purify on Bauhaus (for the healing). They then wait for Calibri's Judge and Jury and Bauhaus's turn. Next, Star moves to L13, uses Astral Birth to generate Thyme Vortices on L13 and O3, and continues flying to U16, where they stab Droplet 4 with an Infinidagger, benefitting from Stellar Wind and Opening Act. They then Leyline Stride to C4 and Soaring Rush along the boosters to I2, where they Basic Attack Droplet 6 with fire damage, getting many damage buffs on the attack. Finally, they activate Shadow Blend for Evasive purposes. BATTLES - YUNG VENUZ After Berg and Calibri, in case YV somehow isn't dead yet (:yvdodge:), Star will cast Soaring Rush, fly to M8, and basic attack him. -------------------- |

Destiny moves to H11, Warp Shifts with the Defiler, Observes then Stellar Assasins the Defiler, landing at G12. She waits for the Sleuth, using a Warpjack on them to move them to H4, then retreating to E15. DROPLET Destiny uses the Vortex once it spawns to move to N3 and observe Droplet 7. Once everyone else acts, she moves to J17 and Starstrikes Droplet 5. --------------- Moretaalks SCALTA: Well with my simple description, living on the back of a moving object reminiscent of a living being would seem quite dangerous, but several safety measures have been put in place. SCALTA: First of all, these golems are not based off of bipedal species, rather being based off of creatures of other sorts. Turtles, stingrays, eagles, those such beasts. They provide sufficient horizontal leeway to build these cities on. Additionally, to keep the comfort of the citizenry in mind, we installed magical environmental and gravitational stabilization properties on the golems to ground people on to them and to protect them from the various harms of living at great heights or speeds. Incidentally, the resultant density of mana from these fields allows for the easy natural powering of the many wonders I have mentioned before. SCALTA: Though, now that you have brought it up, I am curious about the extent of Tabletopian technology. I have heard various rumors about their might before it was brought down in the Second Godmodding War. A people who have found their technological limit is something that I seldom discover the existence of. Traveling outside my universe tends to be a risk, so besides the Echo Collective, I have not encountered a society that is so vast and mighty that it has nearly no more limits to breach. -------------------- You are already dead.

~~~ Asha nods enthusiastically. "Yup, sounds good." She reattaches her arm for a bit so she can adjust the adjustables. Only having one arm makes adjustments kinda difficult, right? When she's done, she detaches it again and patiently waits for Cypress to complete his work. |
Battle: Yung Venus' Crib
Berg moves first in the turn order, moving to K11, eating an Everfruit, and guarding. cA: You know, six average soldiers managed to damage me more than you did. cA: I'm a bit disappointed. I expected... more. cA: ...Everyone coming up here complicated things a bit. ---- Bergilmir looks on at Plana and Sakura's scuffle with exasperation. cA: I have tried to be patient, Plana. But people in this city are DYING, the city itself is BURNING, and not only have some Iti already broken past what meager perimeter there is, but the greatest horde Sussui has ever seen is likely soon to be BESIEGING THE WALLS OF THIS CITY. When they get inside, they're going to wipe one of the biggest pockets of resistance to the Thyme off the face of the planet, and all you seem to care about is antagonizing Sakura. There is a WAR GOING ON OUTSIDE, if you hadn't noticed. cA: No, Plana, I don't care about doing this... vigilante justice right now. I don't know why you'd think that I do. I'm not in the Rebellion. I what I do care about ending the Iti, and their source, once and for all. I care about saving lives, including both of yours. Why do you think I'm a Spherebreaker? cA: As long as Sakura promises to return the stolen goods, help as best she can, and perhaps go through a fair trial after the war is over, I consider this squabble finished. He then turns toward the pink-wreathed princess. cA: And don't think I stated your goals lightly, Sakura. I am serious about them. cA: If you have any skill at healing magic, there are wounded in the Temple. Or stand with your people. I know you are afraid, but there aren't many other options right now. -------------------- what if you have like 100 DGE and you're standing behind a lamppost
The Sniper uses Mark Target on the Throne.
Acacia floops over to I10. Remiel mutates Last Wish. Acacia uses a Ygg Vessel, then casts Siege Spire (any extra MP comes from Gaiaflame, then Remiel) on the F3 statue of YV for comedy purposes. Remiel spends the rest of its MP to Cherry Energy YV. Then, Remiel basicattacks an empty space. This leads to another 14 half-damage hits on the Throne, giving Remiel a whole bunch more MP to spend on more Cherry Energies on YV. |
Battle: Infested Mountain
Venia uses Hope Rides Eternal to shift that pesky Fell Beast 3 to L14, then herself moves to M15. She activates Purge, firing directly north-this should at least hit the head and the carcass the maximum of three times, plus the Fell Beast. This consumes her Ordo and likely restores her to full HP given she'd have Vampiric6. She then retreats to M16. If Fell Beast 3 is still alive, Venia then casts Pow Hammer as a bonus action to stun it. DAwn of the final day. Venia blinks. That isn't Nia. That's Omo. "Omo, I think I need coffee." Venia says. One coffee later, Venia focuses. "... I'd have said this yesterday night, but... I'd just like to thank you. Everyone else as well, too. I... I don't know what I'd be doing without you all having been there for me. It... It means a whole lot." "... Anything left on the list before we head out? Uh. Other than the calls to murder Beaverzilla. If Ware doesn't throw everything and the kitchen sink he has at us when we use the Glyphs, I'd be shocked." Mariaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Oh god. The most powerful decision Maria has ever made in her life. Her stunning victory over capitalism is nothing compared to the weight of choosing your awesome Magical Girl name. <ROUND 325>
JOE is re-integrated into existence! He also hands 160 Credits to Marron, asking for an upgrade to the Crystalline Bohemian. He also has all these flowers he wants to stick onto his weapon. MARRON: Ooh, pretty. MARRON: Though, you sure you don't just wanna like, carry around an entire goddamn plot of land at this point? MARRON: We can probably make it happen. Grow wheat on the field of battle. Nonetheless, Will of the Crops obtained! Not!Echoss and Echoss do their things. To begin, Not!Echoss grabs the Temmie Thumb's Forbidden Fetuccini, handing it to Nia to upgrade. Nia throws it in the microwave, and it inexplicably upgrades into the Temmie Arbiter's Ascended Apocalyptic Anelli. NIA: Man, this is... exquisite! NIA: I bet the scent will attract the strongest of temmies! NIA: Or uh, the strongest of anyone, really! We've committed some serious culinary crimes here! NIA: Congrats!~ Elsewhere, somewhere far more reasonable, Echoss implodes into a cloud of butterflies that ensnares the brawling Plana and Sakura. The two of them are pulled apart quite smoothly, Plana still doing her best to swing at a semi-punch drunk Sakura. It's... rather clear who won in this engagement. Sakura is whisked away, leaving Plana on the street. PLANA: Aw, why'd you have to do that? PLANA: It was just getting good, too! PLANA: Did you see her face? All of her cockiness faded away when I bopped her a couple times! PLANA: ...She's kinda cute, though. PLANA: Trying to fight me, when she definitely doesn't know what she's doing... PLANA: Gotta love a girl with attitude, right?~ PLANA: Ahh, she's really cute when she's all flustered, too! PLANA: That was too much fun. ...She doesn't really seem to, uh, get it. Echoss does his best to try and sway Plana with his words- she's a bright, passionate young woman, right? Echoss has dealt with scum like Linseed his whole life. Surely, she can see the damage that leadership like his does, right? PLANA: Of course I can see what bad leadership does. It's why Spark's dead, y'know? PLANA: Linseed however, has led us to many victories against Spark's reign. Clearly, you're the one misunderstanding me here! PLANA: Geez... She sighs as Echoss hecks off further into the city, landing near the Chairian that was run over by Sakura's carriage. He swallows them up into a ball of butterflies, carrying them over to the Temple of Helix for treatment. Hopefully they can give him the care he needs. Then, over back at the house, a dizzy Sakura is dropped off at the House. She's half-cognizant as she listens to Echoss rattle off the various crimes that she's effectively indicted herself on. Grand larceny, embezzlement, illegal misappropriation of military hardware, assault, and endangerment of civilian life. Woman's gonna start filling out the Geneva Checklist at this rate. At the very least, she's not a threat to anyone but herself, so... they'll be keeping her here for now. Sakura tries to stand, though her general fatigue causes her to stumble onto her knees. SAKURA: H-Huh? Y-You're just g-gonna... keep me here? SAKURA: Y-You... d-don't have the r-right, to... d-do... that... Her voice trails off as she flops onto her back. Not unconscious, just battered and bruised. Echoss notes that she'll be held here for the remainder of the day. At the very least, don't wander off, get into fights, or generally get herself killed. She sighs, head turned to the side in complete resignation. SAKURA: O-O... kay. SAKURA: W-Whatever... She continues to lie on the ground, chest slowly rising and falling. She doesn't even bother to wipe away the thin stream of sap flowing from her nose, down her face. Maybe someone should pick her up, tend to her wounds, roll her in a blanket... the good stuff. But first thing's first- get her in the house, right? She'll catch a cold out here. Finally, a few hordes of butterflies scour the area. One horde asks the duo of Beech and Cedar if they wish to come inside. The responses are... varied, to say the least. BEECH: Hm? Sure, if you're offering. BEECH: It's kinda cramped in there, anyway. BEECH: Far too much equipment for such a small space. It's a miracle no electrical disasters have occurred, really. BEECH: Maybe I can finally take a shower, too. Wipe Spark's blood off my armor. CEDAR: Really? You're offering to let me in? That's... surprising, to say the least. CEDAR: I think... you should put me with the rest of the Praetorians. CEDAR: At least Beech had the willpower to actually stand against Spark. I stood idle until it was too late for me to act. CEDAR: Try me like the others. BEECH: ...Yeah, he's been like that since Spark's death. BEECH: He's... a bit lost. Kind of like me. BEECH: But, yeah. I'll come with you. BEECH: I'll see if I can make myself useful, too. Repay that kindness of yours. Beech hops down from the top deck, while Cedar remains put in the hold. She immediately puts herself to work. Meanwhile, down in the prison holds of the Rosen Catacombs, Echoss pops the question; has anyone eaten? As he asks that, the Maw from the cafeteria waddles by, serving up all the prisoners perfectly cooked (if beyond cursed) Steak, Potato, and Mushroom dinners. What's breakfast? There's a fair chance they do not know. As for amenities, it doesn't seem that anyone particularly needs anything, other than "fresh air" and "out of here". Oh, also. Echoss scans Linseed. beep boop Codex Updated! Looks like Cypress was kind enough to provide prison records. How nice. Hannah makes a supply run! She throws together a large package of provisions, which is then promptly donated to the roofside Scarlets. 7 Carnival Corn Dogs, 4 Chairian Pastries, 3 Nutrient Snackbars, 3 Quick Foodstuffs, and some meals made from 10 Spider Meat and 10 Gaiaroot Potatoes are expended. (I have decided that Hannah has made ravioli. :chloehappy:) SCARLET: Aww, thanks! SCARLET: Every bit helps the cause! We'll be sure to send this out right away! MAPLE: Oh, heya Hannah! Didn't think I'd see ya' here! MAPLE: Mostly because it's like, how did you see us? We're on a tower! MAPLE: But... yeah! I'll deliver this package myself! Zoom! Maple's off... and she's already back. SCARLET: Whoa, fast! SCARLET: How'd you get so good, Maple? MAPLE: I think my time with the Spherebreakers has really honed my skills a lot! MAPLE: I highly recommend them as a training program!~ She grins and giggles to her compatriot as Hannah hops away, ready to deliver another shipment of goods. 5 Rations, 3 Sapfilled Cookies, 4 Aurora Baked Potatoes, 4 bowls of Spiced Porridge, 2 Fruitcake Squares, 3 Yggcrawler Pie Slices, 5 slices of French Toast, and another batch of 10 Spider Meat and 10 Gaiaroot Potato meals. (This time, she has made little pies. :chloehappy:) This batch of meals is delivered to the Temple of Helix, and dropped off. TAEDA: Yay, food! Thank you, Hannah! TAEDA: The priests and priestesses here skipped breakfast to help everyone here today. TAEDA: ...And yesterday's dinner, and yesterday's lunch... TAEDA: Everyone's kinda starving, so this helps a bunch! Though, Hannah can't help but wish she could help more. But... perhaps she could do more on the doctoring side of things? Who to teach her though? Hannah routes her way out of the temple, pathing directly into Chi. Could she perhaps give her a few pointers? Chi raises an eyebrow. CHI: You? Quite frankly, you're the last person I expected to have an interest in the medical arts. CHI: You were Yew's wielder for some time. And if I recall, she really did like your company. CHI: But... who would I be if I refused someone who just wished to help? CHI: Though, the medical arts aren't something that can be taught formally in such a short time. CHI: Perhaps it would be best if I tagged along, and you could simply follow my lead? CHI: Or perhaps you could look into the art of healing magic? That's hardly my field, but even Chloe's learned how to perform such acts. CHI: I say that not to be offensive, but I've been told that she showed no magical potential before arriving here? CHI: I'm unsure of your own potential, but I'm sure you could learn that way as well. Just down the road, Adria and Mari meet up. Adria shudders as the implications of Spark's rule dawn on her, Mari joining in on the now-collective shuddering. Though, there's really not much to talk about here, which might be for the best; it's sort of an uncomfortable topic, isn't it? Adria continues on, mentioning that Hannah's running deliveries, her drones are doing some busywork, and the like. MARI: Huh, nice. Perks of a good drone network, I guess? MARI: I'd totally try to outdo you, but I'm pretty limited in my capacity at the moment. MARI: A shame. Still, destroying the Sphere should be contribution enough from me, right? Maybe I'll see about setting something up after the Sphere's gone, though. Anyway, the two of them stride up north, Mari casually trailing behind Adria. They meet up with the semi-Highchair. What's going on? Omorika decides to fill Adria in. OMORIKA: Ah, miss Adria. Welcome to our capital. OMORIKA: As for the Citadel itself... well, we were initially discussing how to best disperse the crowds. But that situation seems to have been sorted. OMORIKA: ...Really, most of the problems we were hoping to address have already been solved. ACACIA: I mean, there's still the guards- OMORIKA: As previously stated, we are not authorizing you to Siege Spire the guards. OMORIKA: You'll have plenty of time to wreak havoc within the Sphere itself. ACACIA: Yeah, yeah... ACACIA: Can I beat up Sakura, though? She's had it coming for a loooong- OMORIKA: No. Bad. Were Omorika not afraid of disproportionate retribution, she would bonk Acacia on the head. OMORIKA: Though I haven't been in the Citadel for a considerable time, we shouldn't need to worry about any security measures. OMORIKA: Other than perhaps a few loyalists to Spark's cause, but I believe that the people have likely dealt with them already. OMORIKA: As for ourselves... we're not sure if it's the best idea for us to show our faces in the Citadel. CYPRESS: Our position; uncertain. People's opinions, unclear. Might lynch us. Or ignore us.. Or revere us. CYPRESS: Acacia, probably negative. Others, unsure. ACACIA: H-Hey! Acacia bonks Cypress, not fearing disproportionate retribution. Next up, within the Rosen Catacombs, Shelly decides to help distribute food around the Catacombs; though the Maw has certainly helped, they've forgotten vital things like "water". As she arrives at Biflora's cell, she can't help but give her the iciest glare she's armed with. BIFLORA: ...Huh? What, you wanna go? BIFLORA: C'mon. Step in here. It'll be fun. With the magic-nullifying field in place, odds are it'd be a pretty bad idea to get in there. Especially if one lacks the way to punch out a person made of wood. But maybe Shelly has a trick or two? Who knows. Verdana chats with Dawn! Do they need any help with the house repair work? Mr./Ms. Discount Radiance pauses their construction work for a few moments, pondering a response. DAWN: I SUPPOSE YOU COULD HELP A LESSER BEING LIKE MYSELF. DAWN: GO ON THEN, MORTAL. DO YOUR BEST. ...Mixed messages much? Blacklight also questions Beech, who has just arrived at the front of the house. She's hardly taken aback by Blacklight's appearance, already having seen far gaudier from the Spherebreakers. Like, why is Miss Omorika wearing a kimono? That's hardly formal. BEECH: Hm? I'm nobody important. BEECH: Just a former one of Spark's Praetorians. I mean you no harm. BEECH: I'm just... well, I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing. BEECH: I'm more than capable of construction work, yes, but... well, perhaps you get what I'm saying. BEECH: It's complicated. She continues to erect walls made from wood. This really clashes with the aesthetic. But what can you do? Over with Chaos, Calibri wonders if God will truly be annoyed by Chaos's antics. Though they've breached the 50 hot dogbb cap, God is still yet to appear and strike them down. Slowly, they continue to climb. 51. 52. 53. 54. CHAOS: god will be here any minu[t]e now CHAOS: any minu[t]e. 55. 56. How long is Calibri willing to put up with this, anyway? Still across the street, Lato wonders out loud if the Devout knows how to operate the ballista. The "owo" present on her face indicates that she clearly doesn't, and cannot be trusted. Quickly! Stop the crimes! Scalta asks Cypress about the extent of Tabletopian technology. He is more than happy to provide as much information as he can. CYPRESS: Tabletopian technology: vast! CYPRESS: General technology: spacefaring. Use special alloy. Arkalloy. Durable, light, rigid. Many uses. Weaponry. Armor. Spacecraft. General infrastructure. Used everywhere, practically. CYPRESS: AI technology, impressive. Arkalloy skeletons. Artificial brains. Powerful machines. Automation, supreme. Few manual jobs. Civilians, free. Pursue their passions. Living costs; minimal. CYPRESS: Factories, rampant. Goods produced quickly. Efficienctly. Powered by fusion. Clean, controlled energy. Very useful, scalable. Used all over. CYPRESS: Science and technology. Primary pillar. Highly revered. Scientists, always working. Trying to innovate. Sometimes, difficult. Current systems, inflexible. Cemented. But, progress made. On occasion. CYPRESS: Our pride: portals. No magical involvement. Can create wormholes. Instant travel. Long, short range. Domestic and military. Spacecraft, portal capable. Used during conflicts. The Godmodding War. CYPRESS: All quite impressive. Yes? :cypressbeam: Asha finishes adjusting her arm. Or uh, her arm components. It really isn't the most complicated process; there's a few adjustable bits of metal that can be slid and then clicked into place. Twisting a bolt then locks the component, preventing further adjustment. Soon enough, Asha has about 16 or so unorganized pieces of metal in front of her, in varying lengths and sizes. Cybernetic uplinks motors are strewn about the pieces, ready to be plugged into the primary components. Soon enough, Cypress has returned with the basis of the arm's construction. Taking Asha's adjusted components, he systematically plugs the parts in one after another. It really is just a weirdly complicated LEGO set. The central components of the arm automatically adjust the parts Asha's adjusted further, expanding them out to create a proper metal housing that protects the interior components from exposure. Once everything's in place, Cypress grabs Asha's detached hand, and... rather casually sticks it to the end of the arm. It's a perfect fit, somehow. He then takes the whole of the arm, mounting it onto Asha's arm mount. Another perfect fit. Though everything's working out quite well, the arm hasn't been switched on just yet. Cypress pulls out a freshly-written information pamphlet. CYPRESS: So, information. CYPRESS: Arm, draws power. Source; your body. Shouldn't be alarming. Consume standard calories. Shouldn't pose any issue. CYPRESS: If needed, chargeable. Use standard outlet. Cord not provided. Forearm, open panel. Reveals outlet. Additionally, adjustable parameters. Tune to perfection. Power button there. CYPRESS: Now, new features. CYPRESS: Tactile sensitivity. Along hand, arm. Touch sensation, restored. Receptive to pain. Annoying, but useful. Can be disabled. See control panel. CYPRESS: Additionally, nanite bank. Mends arm damage. Negates maintenance needs. Self-repairing, maintaining. However, needs material. Secondary panel, supraclavicular. Open, insert material. Suggested material: arkalloy. Standard Tabletopian material. Can manufacture myself. CYPRESS: Complementary product. Two arkalloy rods. Asha is handed two rods of Arkalloy. They're specifically shaped to fit into that secondary panel area. Cypress opens said compartment, and slots the rod into the panel before shutting it. The additional weight is fairly negligible. Cypress then opens the primary control panel, and presses the power button. There's a flare of pain that runs up Asha's arm as the device whirs to life. Not searing or incapacitating, but she'd certainly drop her drink if she was holding one. CYPRESS: Please run tests. CYPRESS: Carrying, lifting. Writing, typing. Throwing, catching. Petting girlfriend's head. CYPRESS: Any issues, report. Will fix. CYPRESS: Thank you. Session over. Cypress closes the pamphlet, handing it over to Asha. While the arm certainly feels fine, it's a bit heavier than she's probably used to. It'd be worth testing in the ways he's provided. Should be a good test of general functions, right? According to the pamphlet, she can test it however she wants to. Just try and make sure it fits those categories. Now, how to go about that...? Though Sakura may have been abducted by this point, Bergilmir is still able to scold Plana. Hasn't she realized that not only are people dying slash burning, but there might be a horde of Iti that'll wipe out the city soon enough? Plana scoffs. PLANA: Pffft! The city's not on fire, idiot! PLANA: Just a little bit ruined, is all! There are already a ton of people helping out all over the city with these things, too. PLANA: My assigned role at the moment is general security. Prevent stupid people from doing stupid things, y'know? Direct orders from Pomme herself! PLANA: Really, you do fall under that description, but I'm not stupid enough to tussle with someone who has a bunch of far more intimidating friends. PLANA: Plus, I wouldn't be so tied up right now if it weren't for you guys! PLANA: ...Don't you have a job to do? Slaaaacker. Her smugness radiates with immense power. punch her do it Venia and Omorika have a discussion over coffee. By the time Venia's finished her one cup, Omo has downed three. Her used mugs form a menacing tower near the coffee machine. Someone will wash up eventually, probably, hopefully. Venia can't help but thank Omorika for the help she's provided- truthfully, she can't fathom as to where she'd be without everyone. A gentle smile crosses the librarian's lips. OMORIKA: Anytime, miss Praefortis. OMORIKA: I am glad that my presence has aided you. OMORIKA: And of course, on behalf of the Chairian people, I'd like to thank you as well. OMORIKA: Without your help, as well as the help of all your allies... we would all likely have perished under Spark's reign by this point. OMORIKA: Again. Thank you. She does a gentle bow as she sits. Then, the question comes up- what's left to tie up? OMORIKA: Truthfully, nothing I can think of. OMORIKA: I believe a few of our number have decided to fight our resident shopkeeper, and another detachment has decided to battle the Eliti Droplet, per her request. OMORIKA: Truthfully, nothing is stopping us from storming the Citadel itself, and breaching into the Sphere. Meanwhile, Maria must deal with a far more insidious choice. What to name herself- oh nevermind, that was fast. Magical Sparkly Princess Maria! Chaos claps, giving Maria a standing ovation. A few more copies of Chaos emerge from the local supermarket on an entirely different planet, scaring and terrorizing the populace with their silence-shattering claps. CHAOS: yes i love i[t] CHAOS: i will manufa[c][t]ure a s[t]a[t]blo[c]k for [t]his righ[t] away CHAOS: and my ar[t] [t]eam will begin produ[c]ing puella magi maria magi[c]a CHAOS: we will make. billions. Chaos DM's Tazz on Discord to go and produce an updated statblock for Maria, while in Chaos's Mindscape, a team of tactical Temmies begin work on the world's greatest anime. A frame from the show is sent to Maria. Maria is cute, smol, has a princess-like dress, and an absolutely insane amount of glitter. 90% of the weight of her dress is likely probably glitter. Wow. CHAOS: anyway [t]his par[t]. [t]akes a bi[t]. CHAOS: you wan[t] a banana or some[t]hing in [t]he mean[t]ime CHAOS: or maybe, even be[t][t]er CHAOS: a banana smoo[t]hie? Truly, he is tempting Maria with unimaginable delight. Banana, in smoothie form? Surely not. <INFESTED MOUNTAIN, ROUND 4> The Fell God has been slain! Its body is yours for the taking, and the end of Chairian civilization has been postponed for about 24 hours! Still gotta deal with the Sphere, y'know? Perhaps legends will one day tell of your success against GOD HIMSELF. Or uh, maybe the other god that'll be arriving sooner or later. <YUNG VENUZ'S CRIB, ROUND 4> Yung Venuz is promptly shot to death. In another dimension, some ways away, a triangle emerges from a portal. Golden revolver in hand, he commits all sorts of atrocities to random bandits, scorpions, and a really, really big heckin' dog. Moments later, a gigantic, fully-armed police truck shoves its way between dimensions, popping out of a wall within YV's crib. A freshly respawned, armed-to-the-teeth triangle steps out. It's Yung Venuz, again. YUNG VENUZ: SUP, GUYS. YUNG VENUZ: NEW RECORD ON THAT LAST LOOP. FIVE MINUTES? YUNG VENUZ: BUT ANYWAY. CONGRATULATIONS ON WINNING, YADDA YADDA, ENJOY YOUR THRONE, ALSO FISH SAYS HE'S GONNA STEAL THE THRONE AND POP YOU WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS SO PREPARE YOUR gorilla. YUNG VENUZ: BUT HEY. NOT MY PROBLEM. IT'S YOURS. YUNG VENUZ: ENJOY THE THRONE! I'M GONNA RETURN TO MY SIDE GIG. YUNG VENUZ: CAPITALISM. With that, Yung Venuz forcibly opens a purple wormhole on the party, sucking them out of his manor and flinging them back into the house. The Nuclear Throne is (also) shoved through the portal, popping out with a surprisingly ceremonious thud, with confetti and everything! Yung Venuz also floats through the portal, returning to his proper location in the Shops tab. Congratulations on toppling your local shopkeeper, and prepare for the Fish post-game boss battle! <VS DROPLET, ROUND 4> With a swift strike, one of the many Droplets is reduced to an unconscious heap. Paradoxical reverberations tear through the other timeclones of Droplet, their very existence being removed from the timeline. The many copies of Droplet begin to converge on one position, pulled in by some immense force. Their bodies begin to merge and combine into one, chronological energy reaching its apex. With one final burst of the timeline, a now-singular Droplet is violently rocketed into the ground. What appears to be chronodust wafts off her body, scattering to the winds. She's not dead, or even unconscious. Just... rather understandably beaten up. She coughs up a few smatterings of Thyme Matter, splattering across the stone tiles of the church. She's on her hands and knees, clinging onto consciousness. DROPLET: W-What the hell... DROPLET: Y-You... t-totally... cheated, w-with your... obscene equipment, a-and... everything else... DROPLET: A-And I, had the g-great idea to pair up w-with... a bunch of Iti w-who already l-lost... t-to you... DROPLET: If only I-I had... m-my beloved... DROPLET: ...I-I'm just... making excuses up though, a-aren't I? DROPLET: All of you... m-maybe you have... something I don't? DROPLET: I-I don't... g-get it... Droplet flops forward, finally letting unconsciousness take her. With that, the Droplet Duel is finally settled! Congratulations to your victory!~ -------------------- |
Post-Battle
Adria stares at the Fell God for a moment. Or, what remains of it. One would have probably noticed that Adria didn't seem all that in the fight, remaining mostly neutral throughout. She starts walking off, looking more than a bit queasy. She ducks behind a rock or something. Shortly after, sounds of vomiting could be heard from behind it. Poor girl probably didn't take the corpse bit well. Someone should probably get her something to drink. ... ???: (Nice work down there!) A familiar voice from atop the cliffs. It's Boshi - he's returned! BOSHI: (Apologies for the sudden departure, stuff came up back home, another invasion, sure y'all know the deal.) BOSHI: (Need some help with cleanup?) Boshi hops down from his perch and helps with cleanup, whatever that may entail. are you sure about that biflora Shelly continues glaring at the jailed Praetorian, not at all intimidated. A trained professional in combat for sure. Likely capable of some hand-to-hand combat. Wooden body would normally be hard to punch and probably cause splinters on hit, and would allow hard punches to be dealt in turn. However, the wooden body is not as flexible. Easier to break and split. And without magic, Praetorians like her are without an upper edge other than that. And the hand-to-hand combat training can certainly be matched. Surpassed, even. Shelly raises her hands to her hair, not breaking eye contact with Biflora and continuing her cold as nitrogen glare. She starts tying her hair into an appropriately sized bun at the back of her head; given her long hair, it's quite the hefty bun too. She sharply drops her arms, causing a pair of long combat needles to shoot from her cuffs, stopping at just the right length to be extremely concerning for any combatant. Long enough to be jammed straight through the head with ease. She plucks them both off with the opposite hand, and after a very brief pause, tosses them skyward, point up. They almost reach the ceiling before they start falling straight for Shelly's head. And with careful positioning of her head, Shelly gets the needles to stab straight through her bun and stay there, perfectly still. She still hasn't taken her eyes off Biflora, drawing another pair of concerningly large needles. She strides closer. Ever so slowly. Giving her "opponent" just the right amount of time to maybe reconsider fighting this lady. Or for someone to stop her. Seatopolis Hannah Hannah sheepishly laughs, quickly trailing off and looking away. HANNAH: H-hahaaa... y-yeah, that... HANNAH: Y-yeah, it's... um... complicated. HANNAH: Really, extremely complicated. HANNAH: Yeah. She returns to focus after a bit. HANNAH: Whatever, past stuff. HANNAH: Anyway, yeah, I know magic, but not healing magic. It doesn't gel with me. HANNAH: I tried using my friend Dorothy's version of magic once, but uh... it kinda backfired. Same with a lot of other magics, only shadow magic seemed to work for me, and even so I only found out recently. HANNAH: So I just leave the larger healing magic-y thing to her. HANNAH: A shame she was still asleep when I came here, she'd've loved to come help... HANNAH: I do have some plans to get into the field of medicine back home, though, and I want a bit of a head start. HANNAH: A quick showcase would be completely fine by me! Hannah gestures to the Temple of Helix. HANNAH: The bulk of the injured are in there. HANNAH: We should get started. At least, before everyone charges into the Citadel and stuff. Once Chi's ready to tag along, Hannah sets out again for the temple. Adria Adria glances around momentarily. ADRIA: Wish I could've been here while everything was... intact. ADRIA: Nevertheless, if all that is standing in the way are a few guards... ADRIA: ...well, I'm not keen on fighting them either. I just hope they're cooperative enough. ADRIA: Perhaps a more... civilized approach would be more well received than... well, a rightfully angry mob. Adria looks out at the Citadel. While Adria was polite, she's not the most politically inclined of the bunch. She looks hesitant to go herself... House /working -------------------- "...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."
Lacking warcrimes to commit with Nia, Not!Echoss simply pays the Sleuth to scan a tabletopian machina
Sakura: "...Would you like me to help you inside Miss Sakura?" Assuming she says yes, Echoss gently carries her into the rec room's bigger cough (since the common room is currently openly exposed to air thanks to a blasted wall) and brings a little bit of breakfast and water in case she wants something to drink and eat. Prison: The prisoners seem to be alright enough, Echoss makes his way away. Praetorians: "I am indeed offering, Miss Beech. I would have done so last night if I were aware you two had remained out here." Echoss chuckles at the electrical comments. "Miss Beech do you happen have familiarity with, say, adventuring fantasy? The Spherebreakers are an adventuring party in all but official status, once you accept that our myriad idiosyncrasies will be easier to take in stride. If you would like to help... we were assaulted by a tabletopian attack squad last night, they took a rather large piece out of the front wall, and we haven't had time to repair or replace it yet. Water and electricity still work, and there is food in the kitchen if you are hungry, you may help yourself. I will be back with you in a bit, I'm going to talk with Cedar." Echoss moves into the hold and sits down across from Cedar. This looks like his hologram sitting crosslegged in the air so Cedar doesn't have to look downwards at a 45 degree angle but hopefully it get the point across. "Cedar, while I understand your guilt for failing to protect innocents, and you will be handed over to the appropriate authorities once all is said and done... I'm going to offer you a question an old... friend of mine once used to give to people in slumps like these. "who is this self penitence helping"? The individuals who fell because of Spark's madness and malice will not be returned by it, those who are still alive but have to suffer the results will not be reassured by you sitting in a jailcell one extra day, and you most certainly are not making up for the damage you enabled by trying to lock yourself up. The Spherebreakers do not hold jurisdiction over LOCAA, those we locked up, we did so to protect civilians who might have been put at risk again by them being left free. You are not an active threat to noncombatants, so as long as you don't try doing something stupid such as running off across the border to Tabletopia, it seems more appropriate to let you remain for the time being. If you wish to atone for what you've done wrong... I recommend spending this day figuring out what you will do after. What you will say when the people of LOCAA inevitably put you on trial, what information you can give to help people rebuild and recover. To make sure that justice can be served, and reparations can be made. It is up to you still, I can only give you the wisdom I have to offer, but if you truly insist on being taken to our holding location you may yet have to wait a while. Today is our deadline for saving Sussui from the Fallen Chairheir's madness, depending on how difficult things are we may not wind up having anyone spare to bring you there at all before the day ends." Not!Echoss collects the grey pin from the library and brings them to droplet. But also it need something to amuse itself so he assembles a small mecha out of the broken cryotubes, a bunch of iron, gold, circuit boards, wires, and joltwires, and 2 king's armor fragments. Echoss watches the end of the duel, and sighs. Hopefully someone else will attend to her... if not he'll come pay the Eliti a visit next round once his secondary body is done helping Sakura. Crafting if I have time for it -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...
ZONE 4 - DROPLET HAS BEEN DEFEATED
As Droplet begins to collapse, Star quickly swaps Sol Ultima to its star form and gently whaps her with a healing basic attack. STAR: Hello grey-black-pink one; STAR: do you have memory of me? Star removes their wayfinder's lens to reveal their narrow purple eyes. STAR: i fled the place of your abode, so confining STAR: For the Hanged Man in the Sphere calls out in pain STAR: This is a thing i do not understand, STAR: are you content to wait as our corrupted brethren destroy this world us from without and within? STAR: I could not wait any longer to see this creation burn STAR: and the Sphere-breaker valiant warriors could not either~. -------------------- |
Hexagon watches the Fell God's death. He flashes Taeda and Mari a appreciative thumbs up.
HEXAGON: ANOTHER ENEMY OBLITERATED. THE BATTLE OF THE SPHERE WILL BE A MERE FOOTNOTE, AT THIS RATE.. Once everything has been cleaned up, he takes off. His people need him. With a short bit of flight, he returns to the House, splitting up into several clones to go manage the things that what need the managing. In the Chairian Citadel, Hexagon approaches the Spire, addressing both groups of Chairians at each door at the same time. He has a loud voice. HEXAGON: THE SPHEREBREAKERS HAVE MADE THE NECESSARY PREPARATIONS TO ENTER THE SPHERE. WE HAVE ADDITIONALLY PROCURED THE: ROYAL SEAL REQUIRED FOR THIS TASK. HEXAGON: THE FORMER CHAIRHEIR'S DAUGHTER DOES REMAIN SAFE. SHE WAS ACCOSTED BY A MEMBER OF THE REBELLION AND GAVE UP THE SEAL WILLINGLY AFTER A RESCUE. HEXAGON: ARE THERE ANY OBJECTIONS TO OUR ENTRANCE AND ASCENT? HEXAGON: ALSO I THINK WE JUST KILLED GOD ON THE WAY HERE WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?? I HAVE PICTURES WANNA SEE THEM His voice probably carries over to the Highchair Trio in the south, as he attempts to negotiate entrance into the Spire. A clone of Hexagon taps Cypress on the shoulders, and then rapidly scans him. With, uh, vague robot powers, not the actual scanner. I don't think we need Cypress' codex entry. HEXAGON: BEHOLD: ADVANCEMENT. Hexagon steps over to a crafting station and projects out the scans of Cypress' equipment. In the same motion, he withdraws a large amount of materials from the inventory, and engages the rare and dangerous AUTOCRAFT. Which is to say, he uses the permission we got from Ire on discord to do two crafts with minimal flavortext. In a flurry of movement, he assembles the materials into what seem to be.. add-ons? for Cypress' equipment. Namely, he crafts the Nanoprojection Array and Glyphspike Mohawk. He then hands these add-ons back to Cypress, where they snap onto his equipment and automatically integrate, boosting it. Or not, if Cypress wants to do his own thing. Stats are here, along with the stats of various other things hopefully being crafted this turn by other people. They should all be preformatted, too! Materials Used Then, he assembles the Grief Seed and Dawn Gauntlets for Acacia and Ette respectively. They are also preformatted on the doc linked above. I apologize for the many crafts. Grief Seed Dawn Gauntlets Finally, Hexagon then commissions a T7 trinket, one of a kind, Trinket for Acacia from Marron because the Hannah Plushie honestly isn't great for her. -------------------- Just a guy who likes DTG.
Well, as the main representative of the very dead farm, I have one goal: Farm. on rounds where the Ainifni is already being used or I cannot make it be used, this means I need to Get Flux! If I can just get fifty flux, and then also everyone else has fifty flux, so I can use fifty flux on the Ainifni upgrade, then I can moderately increase the likelihood of the Farm returning by about 7% per battle!
Yes! This is definitely worth it! even if it's implausible! The nature of flux is probably at least a little about unpredictability, right? so there's maybe a chance! I go through every zone in sequence, looking for Flux, and immediately notices that there's an Altar in the whispering library! However, this Flux Altar is maybe actually useful, so I hold off on extracting it. Instead, it is time for the high IQs. yes. I don't need my right arm, really. I have a crystalline T8 weapon for that. So I simply rip off my right hand and put it into one of the grooves, and then, since I am no longer attached to my right hand, I walk to the other side of the altar and put my other hand in the other groove, letting the altar extract some of my blood, and also my blood. I'm sure this will go well. Once I'm done with that, I use my intact left hand to place my right hand up against my arm wound and use the Yggdrasil Vessel on myself a few times. There! good as new! other then the scars. I'm not sure I can feel my fingers, either. But I don't need them! I have the Will Of The Crops! way better than fingers. After that Ill-I mean, Well-advised diversion, I drop by the dark energy in the southern wing, because it looks kinda like flux. I don't see any Flux in the endless gardens, but I do see a vegetable garden next to the Garden Home! How lovely, others who value farms! Since I'm passing through, I use terraform with the guidance of the Will Of The Crops to make the soil better for the crops there and help them grow. In the Old Pass, I give a passing look to the Projection Box(CK32) to see if Flux is extricable, but I'm not too hopeful there; then pass by the Great Sapsqueal and offer it a wash (via Terraforming Water tiles above it, of course). If it accepts, I then attempt to extract flux from the blood I've cleaned from it. In the Rosen Catacombs, I hit the Rubble Room Lock (X56) with Will Of The Crops until the Flux that is surely maybe powering its gravity-ignoring powers comes out, since it doesn't seem to be locking anything. Next I drop by the Hellfire Room. I have fire resistance! ... 10% resistance is resistance! but not enough resistance, actually. But I'm not interested in crossing the hellfire pit anyway. I'm interested in the entropic means that are keeping it lit! I use terraform to dig my way under the hellfire. Heat rises, so it won't be too bad down here. I then begin analysing the ground under the hellfire for Flux, which I want to extract, of course. Meanwhile, I also drop by the Calamatic Crater! Sure, there's a lot of rock and stuff, but I'm so good at terraform it has wallhack! I'm reasonably sure that it makes sense, if you can control individual bits of rock, to manipulate the rocks like they're a liquid you're pathing around what you retrieve; the weight of rock above and below is irrelevant because I'm moving things horizontally. I think. What do I retrieve? whatever's left of the Origin of Sin! It probably has Flux. I'll get to the rest of the catacombs on the second pass. Now, the sky labs say they have skill points on offer and normally I would be all over that and try to fight random people but that's not going to get me FLUX! ...yeah there doesn't seem to be any further sources of FLUX in the other zones. Darn. There do seem to be a couple of battles we could do, though? some fortified room, and a bunch of meteorite-related iti? Well, that's not my department. I merely desire to farm. Is it possible to drink Ainifni outside battle? I doubt it, but if so, I certainly shall enact such actions forthwith. |
