Mr. Krabs glitches out, very completely, as he 'moves' back to the Forest of Departure to the informant.

"Sorry, Toast is a bit busy at this moment," Mr. Krabs says, though a level of severe distortion has masked who it is. "Also sorry about the... Well, voice. In any case, we will have to pass on your immediate assistance, mostly due to our current conflict of ideology... but, I believe we can come to a simpler alternative deal: If you can rouse up a few supplies to donate to our loosely-allied cause just this once, we'll be sure to make the most of it. You can basically grant whatever you can afford to spare or care to live without, as long as it doesn't attempt to kill us. The exchange is that we will personally remove the issue of Four Glyphs that are currently making any siege on the sphere utterly impossible, allowing you to conserve men for a final push on the Chairian Citadel when the time comes."

"Strike you as a fair deal?"

No matter the arrangement met, Mr. Krabs enters the red-bordered tile to enter whatever chaos awaits him there.

After the battle, Simeon continues to give off a weak aura of darkness. It's not particularly noticeable, but if someone looks hard enough, they'll see that colours seem darker around him. He follows the river, and ends up at the Hanging Garden. At the sight of the hanged Chairians, he sighs.

"We. We're not fighting a mindless force of destruction, are we? Monsters that become stronger by eating the bodies of the fallen, and assuming their forms. Small, slithering creatures shaped like nooses. The Butterfly... it's just so cruel. It's like a cat, playing with it's food, and everyone just doesn't realize it yet."

The Illuminator disappears, replaced by Griever. He begins the difficult task of cutting the Chairians down from their resting places. The first time he does it, the Body falls to the ground with a thud.
"Oh dear, I'm so sorry, that was my bad."
With the rest of them, he catches them as they fall, dying a little bit inside each time. Nobody really wants to touch a corpse, remember? When he's finished, he fetches a pair of notebooks from his messenger bag, which has always been there, but has never been mentioned. Flipping through his notes, he finds the appropriate notes, and begins to follow them. He waves his hands about, steels his nerves, and says, "Speak With Dead: Tell me your name," to one of the corpses. However, due to the whole crushed neck thing, the Chairian responds with something that I, the writer of this section cannot phonetically translate, since if you read it out, you wouldn't be able to sleep.

"Meep."

With that avenue of questioning closed, he decides to try something else out. Flipping to another section, he reads it and sighs. With a hesitant hand, he puts his finger near the Chairian's ruined mess of a neck and gets a blood, or closest-thing-to-blood sample. In his other notebook, he puts a drop of the blood on the page.

"Why did I choose to do the other one first? That was a waste of ten minutes. Anyhow, Blood Biography."

If this successfully gives him the name of the Chairian, he will cast Blood Biography on all of the other bodies. If not, then he'll search all the bodies to find a piece of identification.

Now, he also wants to craft something. Let's see what sort of stuff he can make from the body of The Gallow.

First off, he collects any down that's lying around the Hanging Garden. He even gets the stuff in the body. At the moment, he feel he can handle anything, since after working the bodies of the victims, he feels he can work with the remains of the murderer.

First off, he gets the Gallow Wing and plucks out all the down there.

He selects five Gallow Feathers, and sets them on the table. With a knife, he slits the feather fibers right off their shafts. Now he has a huge mass of feather fibers, and a hollow tube of.. keratin? wood? Stuff. Anyhow, Simeon will use one of the shafts as a scabbard, since even though it's cool to just call the sword to his hand from the inventory, when he's just holding it around, someone could get hurt.

Now, to do something with the feather fibers. He takes a piece of five uniform logs, and makes a loom frame the same way he did in The Mindscape.
With the loom, he weaves a square of black feather fabric. Because I don't think you want to hear about the intricacies of Simeon threading weft fibers though the warp fibers, I'll just say he ended up making several sheets of twill weave fabric, which has a diagonal pattern.

He runs a hand over it. Satisfied with it's quality, Simeon folds one of the sheets of fabric in half. He threads a leftover fiber through a hole in a sliver of iron which was made with a sliver of titanium, and stitches the two sides adjacent to the fold together. With this bag, he stuffs it full of some down and then stitches the side opposite to the fold together. And with that, he's made a pillow. He places it on the round, and puts his head on it, and relaxes. It's poetic, in a way. A creature designed to spread terror in life can provide comfort in death.

When he's done, Simeon puts the pillow into the inventory.
"Anyone want me to make another one? I think we have plenty of fabric and down."

Summary:
Spoiler Alert
x amount of Gallowsdown fluffballs found.
x amount of Feather Fabric made from 5 Gallow Feathers
5 Gallow Feather Shafts made from same 5 Gallow Feathers
1 Gallow Feather Shaft used to make 1 Scabbard for Griever.
5 Uniform Logs used to make Fabric Loom
1 Sheet of Feather Fabric and 3 Gallowsdown fluffballs used to make 1 Gallowsdown Pillow

Zedros opens his eyes, looks up to the skies and sees...

Craftpost
Materials:
3x Silkweed Bundles
3x Feather Rope Coils
8x Gallow Feathers
4x Iron Ingots

Zed uses some of the iron to create a frame. He creates a canvas out of Silkweed, and attaches feathers and rope for for stability or something. He attaches the wings to his robes.

Result
Winged Robes (T2)

New:
LIFDOFF: Upon entering a battle, gain 2 turns of Flying. Upon downing or killing an enemy, gain another turn (doesn't tick down the turn you get the down/kill).

Old:
+4 MMP
+2 INT
+1 SPC
40% Electric Resist
-20% Piercing Resist

Zed puts two points into AGI, and then heads to the unknown battle west of the Forest of Departure.

uA: O-oh, well, we do have that, but... uh, see ya later, hopefully!

Auth says happily to the Chairian soldiers, before noticing the Rebel. And he hears some of the things they say. Things he cannot stand by.

uA: You are some sort of rebel, I see? Hm, allow me to give you MY interpretation of the Legion.

He speaks loudly to the Informant, not even turning to face him.

uA: Perhaps because I am a people-focused being, I observe traits in people. Most of the Legionnaires I have met are people just doing their jobs. I doubt most of them are, as you say, uncaring about the lives of others. They likely care. I have heard many similar stories through my time, of enemies showing mercy to each other, even though they should not. I believe the higher-ups in the order are being directly influenced by the Sphere. Perhaps the rest of Chairian society as well?

At this point, he turns around and moves towards the Informant. Both his hands are behind his back, and black tendrils float out from them.

uA: We have, for the most part, no desire for social upheaval. We have, for the most part, no desire to cause casualties. As a medic, I can not stand by and allow you to take such a callous attitude with any lives, no matter those who they belong to. If you are to help, you will kill none. Or...

Auth encases himself, quickly, in a massive shell of ink, resembling a demon of some sort. His form flies at the Informant.

uA: We are going to have problems.[/b]

Auth sighs, and returns to normal.

[b]uA: Are we clear?
[b][/b]

+2 to MP.

"Hmm."

EN is sort of really not sure what to do. So for now, she just wanders for a bit, then happens upon the hanging garden and takes a look around. Oh also +2 to RES.

"...It don't feel right, leaving 'em bodies up there. But it ain't much better if Iti flood in an' eat 'em later. And it ain't gonna be very convenient t' drag 'em round on a cart or somethin'..."

Oh also Verdana goes and joins her there because :v

"...Right, okay, some enemies can instantly kill anyone. Already. Great. Hmm... I shall work on a solution!"
___________

Calibri, seeing as there's not much better to do, decides to sort out skillpoint assignments. +2 to INT. After he's done that, assuming he can do so, he appears in The Stage battle at D10.

"I'm not normally a fan of concerts, but oh well..."

Following move process: move to G10, place illusory trap at I11, retreat to F10.

Crafting time!

CSI Scouter
Irongutta has a desire to make his Scouter more accurate. This course of thought naturally leads him to wanting to give it an improved zooming feature.

He begins by taking 4 Iron Ingots and heating them to a workable state as usual. Then, he puts forth an extra amount of care (at least, as much as he can) to create some small gears and other moving parts for the mechanical aspect of the device. Before installing the small zooming mechanism, he upgraded the electronics on the Scouter using 2 Circuit Boards and 2 Wire Scraps, hooking the wires up to the mechanism so that he wouldn't have to adjust the zoom manually.

Input: Circuit Boards x2
Wire Scraps x2
Iron Ingots x4

CSI Scouter (Tier 2) created!
Quick! Zoom and enhance that image of the enemy's weak point!
Effect:+2 STR, +1 SPC, +4 HIT, +1 CRT

Irongutta spawns at C8 and moves to G12. This movement triggers Unstoppable Force and Static Discharge! He then attacks Hound 7.

<ROUND TWENTY-NINE>
Boshi talks with the Informant. He considers Boshi's point about conscription.

INFORMANT: We do know that plenty of the soldiers there were drafted into the Legion against their wills... but a majority of them are loyal to the cause, fueled by anger and hatred.

Boshi then tosses him a single Aurora Crystal. He catches it in his gloved hands, and looks them over, somewhat disappointed.

INFORMANT: Only one...?
INFORMANT: Well, I suppose it's something. At least the shard's quite big; we can make quite the potent powder with it.

Boshi then combines his Teslathrower with 3 Titanium, 1 Gold, 2 Wire Bits, and an Aurora Crystal to create the Telsathrower Light! He then throws together his Zen Ribbon, 3 Silkweed Bundles, 1 Gold, 4 Gallow Feathers, and 1 Aurora Crystal to create the Aurora Hat Ribbon. He then performs a slight respec, before heading towards Reisz. Destiny then +2's her HP, and modifiers her special, before sticking two horns onto her Beholster Skull and calling it a day.

...She also upgraded the Beholster's Skull into the Bullholster's Skull using 2 Leather and 3 Iron Ingots. Terry meanwhile, -1's his RES, and +2's his INT, while Teag +2's his SPC. Emerald decides to then feed 2 Iron Ingots and a blob of Thyme Matter to the Iti Stick. This fails to upgrade it by much, only granting it +1 DMG and literally nothing else. He then also attempts to stick the Whispering Gauntlet into a Full Metal Poncho. Things go well until he attempts to jam a crystal into the glove, opposite side of the eye. There's a shriek from the glove, and Emerald promptly drops it. Landing opposite of the palm up, he sees that the eye is wide open. It's a bright red, and he can make out a few words from it.

GAUNTLET: breathe past future sunflower chairheir nightmare rainbow four-hundred-fifty coder

...He opts to NOT complete the upgrade. He then also slots an Aurora Crystal into his Space Heater, improving it. Toast then attempts to teach Chloe some magical words. She looks at her in a somewhat confused manner, before she utters the words of power. Her face goes blank.

CHLOE: That... strangely made sense?
CHLOE: I... I can't really place my finger on it, but it sorta clicked.
CHLOE: I-Is this even possible? Maybe this world's augmenting my head or something...
CHLOE: Now... I think it'd be cool to know healing magic or something.

JOE then +4's his AGI (can't you look up what stats you want to invest into on your own?), then talks with the Informant. He facepalms.

INFORMANT: You know I have absolutely no idea what the hell you're talking about, right?
INFORMANT: Your home? Automatons? Why would I care about those? And who do you think you're impressing with that language? The Iti? They certainly won't care; most Iti only care about eating people.
INFORMANT: I have no words for you.

He then asks YV for what it'd take for him to defend the Farm in case of an emergency. He gets a hefty price tag of 1,000 Credits if something happens. Sheesh. JOE's three billionth or something Trion Soldier then sets up a compost with the empty chest and some vines, along with some other materials. The Artist then +1's his SPC, then heads to the Set with JOE in tow. The Man of Hitting Things then decides to craft a Chest Hat, and a Chest You Wear on Your Chest. They're both Tier 1, but hey; that's all you can really hope for out of a single chest and 2 Green Sap Blobs. Bergilmir then scowls at the Informant.

INFORMANT: Oh. You must be one of those blood knights.
INFORMANT: Honor above all else, combat is sacred, blah blah blah.
INFORMANT: If you try and fight anything here with honor, you'll likely be eaten alive.

He then crafts some Reactive Armor using his Tactical Vest, 2 piles of Gunpowder, 2 Iron Bars, and an Incendiary Scrap. It then promptly gets a slight effect change, mainly due to insane potential AoE and things that'd suck to keep a track of. Comet then heavily respecs, upgrades her gear using a total of 1 Aurora Crystal, 4 Iron, 1 Titanium, 3 Wire Scraps, and 3 Circuit Borards, then heads over to fight Reisz. Monika follows, taking the time to +2 her SKI and swap for the Whispering Gauntlet.

Mr. Krabs then keeps on the conversation with the Informant, asking him for a small cache of supplies. The Informant jots a few notes down before responding.

INFORMANT: Hm. That could be discussed. It'll take some time to deliver the shipment, but it's certainly something that could be arranged.
INFORMANT: It will be considered. Perhaps we'll send you a shipment during your fight, if needed.

Mr. Krabs then heads to the West of the Forest of Departure... and finds himself outside of the forest. The Citadel isn't terribly far away from here; it'd still be a couple hours travel, but it's certainly a journey that could be made. Over the nearby hills is an entire squadron of soldiers... and of course, Lady Acacia. Perhaps it'd be a good time to try diplomacy...?

Simeon then heads to the Hanging Garden, cuts down a body from the tree, and decides to try using Blood Biography on the body's sap. This first body is identified as Juniper, who is a Chairian. They were apparently hung by a Sentence while investigating the area, about three weeks ago. Other usages of the spell yield similar results, but from a timeframe of a mere day ago to some time earlier. He then searches the area for some down of the Gallow, finding about 30 Gallowsdown Fluffballs. Then, using 5 feathers, he creates 25 units of Feather Fabric, and 5 Gallow Feather Shafts. He then tosses together a loom out of 5 Uniform Logs, then uses one of those Feather Fabrics and 3 Gallowsdown to create a Gallowsdown Pillow.

...I'm actually starting to go insane from writing crafting stuff down like this, so I'm going to go and simplify the process. CRAFTING FORUMS GO

Zedros Crafting
Zedros uses 3 Silkweed Bundles, 3 Feather Rope Coils, 4 Gallow Feathers, and 2 Iron Ingots to create the Winged Robes!

Zedros then +2's his AGI, and heads towards the Way Forward. The Author then threatens the Informant. He's... annoyed, to say the least.

INFORMANT: My, aren't you good at diplomacy.
INFORMANT: Threatening those who you want to help you... you're a modern day genius.
INFORMANT: Honestly; how are any of you even part of this group?
INFORMANT: You all seem to have clashing ideals. What's holding you all together?

Auth then +2's his MP, while Calibri +2's his INT, and EN her RES. Irongutta then heads over to the Set, along with The Voice and Brutishace. The first of the group also tries to make a scanner... but realizes that they're practically out of all of the listed materials! That's probably concerning.

I also think we might've broken the player cap ever-so-slightly. Let's see now, shall we?

<THE SET, ROUND TWO>
Is all of these Iti a case of GMBS? Eh, probably. It shouldn't be TOO hard to take down these hordes, though! Split your offense between Reisz and the hordes, and you should be fine! Blitzing down Reisz is also something you could attempt, but given her rather large HP pool, that may prove difficult... and it'd be punishing if she laid the smackdown on you after with her armies!

...Also, if you haven't gotten the memo, you should probably take some people out of the combat before things go horribly, horribly wrong.

(WHOOPS, POST COUNTING FOR UPDATE IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING PLEASE)

The Voice enters the Set at D9, moves to F9, and summons a Generalist Bot at F10! It immediately vocalizes a battlecry, empowering both itself and the nearby Irongutta with Fury!

Stats for import are in the usual place -- but for posterity's sake, 6 points in HP, 6 in MP, 7 in HIT, spells are Fury, Life Essence Augment, and Mentblight, attack type is Ranger(Crushing), and resistances are 40% Piercing, 10% Crushing, 10% Slashing. Oh, and trait is Battlecry.

(Post counted for previous turn. Please register!)

Brutishace follows his teammates out of the forest and specs his two points into AGI and SPC.

He heads over to the confrontation at the set and spawns in at C7. The necromancer opts to stay in the back line for now, readying his Serpentine Pistol He should upgrade the thing soon, alongside his aging armor.

Simeon decides to do a bit more crafting. Firrst off, he walks to an open air area, taking another two Gallows Feather Shafts, Griever's Scabbard, and Chloe's Thymecursed Sword. With a flick of the hand, he casts produce flame, one of he few spells he can cast without reference. He runs his palm along the side of the Gallows feather, melting the Keratin tube, and producing a foul smelling smoke. He then sticks the tube next to the scabbard of griever, and waits for the mass of molten material to melt with it. He repeats the process with the other shaft, and adds it to the two. When he's done. he has three hollow tubes to put swords or swordlike objects in. Genius. Now, something like that will be super clunky to wear around a belt, which won't do. So instead, Simeon makes a shoulder strap from a length of feather rope coil. Again, something designed to mess with people has been put to use. Now, he puts Chloe's Thymecursed Gladius, which is still covered in purple energy into the sheathe, along with Griever. The gladius causes the entire sheathe to glow with a purplish light, which is a nice aesthetic. Plus, it serves to make people guess as to which weapons are actually thymecursed, since the energy is making everrything in the sheathes look useless. Slinging the sheathe over his shoulder, he walks over to The Way forward.

Mr. Krabs remembers his skillpoints, and preemptively pumps 2 into SPC. This now means he may counter with his secondary weapon. As a result of this, Mr. Krabs decides that [REDACTED]ing his claws off isn't worth it and switches to the Splintercast for his secondary weapon. (helps that his primary weapon can elongate itself)

Mr. Krabs stays exactly where he is, for now, and scans (with his eyes, not the scanner) those abandoned, run-down houses for any signs of life, be they rebel, chairian, iti, spider, outsider, pants-based alien lifeforms, or anything else.

While the Informant was responding to Auth, Terry was practicing his bullet jumps in the background. He hears the Informant ask how so many people with conflicting ideals can work together or something, then he pays attention, and says:

"We are here for one main reason.
To rid this place of entropic corruption or something.

And don't worry, Auth's actually a pretty chill guy, if you don't threaten the lives of any of his eleventy hojillion crushes.
...
I'm kidding, he'll save pretty much anybody."

And then he checks the Monster Manual Codex Monstrum for details on the new Iti.

"From the looks of all the silence and mind control stuff, this is just Priests TBH."

Future!Toast ollies out of the Set battle so as to not indirectly kill anyone.

~~

Toast teaches Chloe magicks.
Meanwhile, in the present, Present!Toast claps her hands politely. Doing so makes a weird scraping/clanging sound, and she decides to stop.
"...Not sure if I can teach that with this type of magic. Healing is a bit more difficult, since you generally need to know the name of what you want to heal... Hrm. Hold on-"

She reaches into the pocket of her jeans, pulling out a barely palm-sized notebook. It looks pretty standard- blue plastic cover with a spiral binder style. She flicks through a few pages, taking a sip from the flask at her belt. Eventually, she seems to find what she's looking for.
"Okay, I think I found a way to work this. I'm going to have to teach you four words this time, but I think you can handle it. This time, the words are, in English, [flesh] [void] [reverse] and [split]. In this instance, [reverse] is used as a [modifier] for [split], and thus is placed before it. Generally only one modifier word can be applied per action word. So that's [flesh] as the [identifier], [void] as the [form], [reverse] as the [modifier], and [split] as the [action]."
Again, Toast writes down the words in the dirt- again with a few unfamiliar glyphs below each.
Fervish.
Voros.
Ah'stin.
Polab.

A similar sensation to before occurs, probably. Toast looks drained from the effort.
"Whew... it's surprisingly tiring to teach this. Anyway... when used in this order, that should work as a basic healing spell, but has a few limitations: It won't restore any blood lost, only damaged flesh. It also won't repair bones. (I don't even know the word for 'bone', anyway.)
I think that's all I should teach you for now for safety reasons, though you may want to write down the pronounciations and meanings of these so you don't forget them."

Toast tears out a blank page of her notebook, writing down a summary of the 'rules' in her language.
"Last two things: Nothing will happen if you use the incorrect format (it's like speaking to the universe in a different language), but you can substitute words for others, provided they're of the same type. I'd be careful about overusing the spells I've tought you, though. It requires a lot of self-training to be able to consistently and efficiently cast in succession."
She hands her the page, and and stands up.
"That's all I have to teach you right now. Or at least, all I have the energy to, aha. Hopefully that wasn't too much information at once! There's just a lot of rules, but they also let you be creative with your spells, so it pays off!"
She smiles broadly, and excuses herself for two moments.

Future!Toast heads back up to where Present!Toast was, as Present!Toast heads back in time to fire a single bomb. Well then. She quickly explains that she's going to go confront Acacia in the next zone over, and that Chloe is free to join if she likes.

~~

Toast goes and chats with Acacia.
Toast spends a few minutes planning for the upcoming confrontation. From the map data, it seems that there'll be a quite a few foes ahead, making planning all the more important. She needs to be ready for anything.
From what I've learned, strategy is reliant on information.
Once her plan is set, she sets off towards 'The Way Forward'. Slipping through the trees, she places herself in the centre of the eastern forest.
If the opponents are misinformed, then they'll mis-strategise as well.
She summons a pair of Super Illusions, on one of which she disables the damage portion during her negotiations, instead causing a harmless flash of light to occur on-hit.
They might have met outsiders before, but they've never met me.
The damage-less illusory Toast comes up from behind the house, and strolls forwards nonchalantly, her guard completely lowered, and hands in pockets. Walking, walking, walking. AE11. Stop.
...And that's what I'm counting on for this to work.
There's a pause... and then-

"Hey, are you guys busy up there? I'm planning to pass through- so I'm sorry if I've interrupted anything."
And now for a bunch of conditionals.

If they try to scan her...
She's magically linked a note to the illusion (similar to Nia), which says the following: "Although she may not look it, 'Toast' is a highly skilled fighter who utilises mana absorption and perfect counterattacks to combat foes both magically- and martially-orientated. Her weakness lies in being fought one-on-one, as the style she uses primarily focuses on redirecting attacks to those around her, rather than her opponent. Her main weapon is also a fishing rod, which is believed to be a self-imposed handicap."
I doubt they'll be able to get her actual stats from the illusion, beyond the note. Though, if they did... that could be bad for future bluffs.

If they ask about who she is, who the players are, or what they are doing here...
"My name's Toast. Last name's not important. I'm the most powerful member of the group of Outsiders who call ourselves the 'Thymescapers'. I'm here, unarmed, to try to convince you to allow us past, so we can complete our mission. Hopefully you'll just let us do that, and we'll be on our way."
Illusory!Toast smiles pleasantly.

If they ask her to identify Taeda, or anything like that...
"I don't recognise that person at all. Maybe someone else in our party did, but I certainly don't remember meeting them."
After all, Toast rushed off north after the Checkpoint battle, and only would have glimpsed her briefly on her way towards The Dark.

If they ask her where the others are, or why she is the only one here...
"Oh, the others are here and there... I'm here to try and reason with you. Frankly, they probably wouldn't stand a chance against you, Acacia, and that's why I'm here to make sure things go smoothly," she says in a reasonable tone, "If you want some proof of my competence, how about this?"
She tosses the Gallow Head onto the ground in front of her.

If at any point the Spider Riders move to surround and/or apprehend the illusion...
Illusory!Toast will politely ask them to stop and wait till she's finished talking, or else she'll do something radical and unexpected to their mounts. If that doesn't work, then she'll dive to the left, behind the house there. Striiife!

If they attack the illusion from a distance...
Illusory!Toast will phase out of existence, and the second Illusion will dive out of the forest during the light flash, taking the place of the first. "I'll take that as a forceful 'No' to passing through here peacefully?" Striiife!

While the illusion distracts them, Toast scans Acacia.

The Man suddenly remembers something. Something very important. Something so important, he drops everything he's doing (which currently is nothing) and goes to talk to the Informant.

"You uh... seen a briefcase anywhere around here?"

Irongutta senses something is wrong and swooces right out of The Set. Besides the instability that quickly ramped up at The Set, he heard word of the Chairian's "boss" (at least, that's how he perceives Acacia) showing up, and that is certainly an encounter he doesn't want to miss out on.

The Voice moonwalks right back out of the Set, poofing his bot into nothingness in the process.

Comet moves to C12, attacks the screamer, and retreats back to E9.

I move to F12 and Cast terraform again, conjuring a temporary vacuum cleaner, with which the 4 tiles of thyme matter within my range are cleared and their contents, placed in our inventory.
Moments later, a new soldier drops in, another abyss walker. it quickly skuttles north from the bunker, to the crossrows, past the checkpoint, across the river crossing, sneaking through the forest of departure, past the informant, and then sneaking into the AF-14 house, checking what materials the "bashed to bits" stuff is made of. if metal, crystal or glowy, he then harvests it. otherwise, the Abyss stalker then sprints away, zooming right past mister crabs, and goes through the AF23 pathway to ???.
