Destiny sneers at Spark's display.

The madman tries to play god. For this, I shall strike him down!

Destiny spawns at H18, moving to H19 and using the Teleporter Node to teleport to C16. She walks up more to F16 and uses Whirling Blades, moving G16, H16, I15, I14, I13, I12, then H12.
OMO: Spawn H18, move H19 then use Teleporter Node to TP into Interior C14. Move to D14, use trait to Teleport Titanstrider to E13.
TITANSTRIDER: Uh ping PSoldier6 I guess
MAPLE: Spawn H18, move H19 and use the Teleporter Node to TP into Interior C16. Move to F17, basic attack Magus 3 down, throw a Cinderfruit at the body, retreat to F16.
CHLOE: Spawn H18, move H19 and use the Teleporter Node to TP into Interior C14. Move to G13, basic attack Magus 1 down, use an Echo stack to destroy the body.
MDrones 1 and 2: Basic Attack Perfect Soldier 6.
MDrone 3: Use Vortex Chamber. Move to G16.

Battle: Dream of Unity - Armaments

Venia overhears Adria's musing, and bites her lip, the exact answer to her question behind it. The newest horror could always be the last-and then, they'd be nothing more than just another data point, another total failure across all time and space. Not once had Sussui ever tasted salvation across all possible timelines. Not even once.

Of course, Venia did not speak the odds. You never tell the plucky rebels about the odds. They'd buck those trends anyways. That aside, it wasn't even news-Venia had previously divulged it in a despair-induced freakout two and a half zones ago. Instead, she focuses on Spark's forces, aware that he could hear-and fury building up within her, and his mad ranting about loyalty and power and-

"Ah," Venia says, head slightly tilting, everything clicking now. "... I think I finally understand you, little thing. Like a book. Maybe. Just maybe."

"Tell me, little thing. Tell me-tell US! Tell us how powerless you felt as everything burned around you, as Ire's insanity and Ikea's violence obliterated everything you ever worked for even a little to near-genocide. Tell us how pathetic you felt as everything came undone at the hands of powers you were hopeless to resist, how many of your coworkers still haunt you even now. And, definitely, tell how euphoric you felt when you were offered the reigns of ultimate power for nothing-total command, and then an ultimate weapon to annihilate your enemies-how badly have you been itching to swallow that burning coal in your throat, how badly you want to preserve that feeling of control over your life-and kill everyone and everything that's ever contradicted that."

Venia's voice is strangely serene given how absolutely pissed she was moments ago. But perhaps having everything add up makes her a lot calmer. But her eyes are focused and narrow and hateful.

"... You have my condolences for the frankly unreasonable situation you were thrust into. However, you will have nothing further. Your actions are the stuff of insanity. You're a murderer, a liar, a backstabber, you've betrayed the trust of your allies and made them suffer for a pointless revenge enacted just to make you feel right again. And for that-you will have nothing short of the horror of seeing everything you wrought fall like the house of cards it is, and know the shame of being a petty tyrant and nothing else. I name you as you are-just another pathetic creature like Ikea! A dime a dozen! And for what you've done, we're going to make sure you never see more than a cell. Prepare yourself! For it is as I said earlier-we have only begun to fight seriously!"

"Cypress, can you bring out the Harmonia? And can someone else command your other drone?" Venia asks. "Might as well bring as much firepower as we can bear!"

These actions are first!

Venia spawns in (again) at F18... Riding Gibbet. She doesn't comment on this. She briefly has Gibbet pivot around to F19 and activates the Rangefinding Sensors, giving every weapon +10 CRT and Unavoidable, before finishing her move at I19. The Vic Viper also spawns in now from H18 and moves to J18, giving Venia the benefit of Shoulder Angel.

Gibbet uses Super Big Cutty on Throne Launcher 1; it isn't a boss, after all, so it should record damage like a regular entity. Venia uses Hope Rides Eternal to shove the PerfectSoldier9 to J22, IE an Abyss tile, causing it to fall to his 'doom.' She then follows up with a basic attack to the freshly-respawned Perfect Soldier, downing it, and then has her Vic Viper attack the corpse to remove it. "OK everyone, thrash that Throne Launcher!"

Battle - Base of Unity

On the deck of the airship, the Calfusion just stares at the Dream of Unity. Namely at the large horde of Spark clones. Then, it grins.

"This is your plan? Really? I don't know if you've noticed, but that's not gonna help!"

The fusion throws back its head and laughs a single laugh, then refocuses on the battle. Sol Aeterna's spear form, still clutched in the fusion's hand, ignites into a brilliant display of multicoloured flames.

"The legion didn't fail out of lack of loyalty. They failed due to terrible leadership. Cloning yourself this many times just exacerbates the problem... and lets us stop holding back."

The fusion spawns at H18, moves to J19, activates Exertion, then reaches out and smacks Throne Launcher 1.

Damage calc for convenience.

(28-29) damage, +110% from exertion, +10% from ordo, +20% from bushi road, +20% from high ground, x1.1 due to weakness = (80-83) Fire damage

After that, the fusion "retreats" to K19.

Battle - Dream of Unity Armaments

Irongutta collects himself after the bumpy ride. Everyone else seems alive and the airship has only two massive crystalline spikes piercing it. As far as he was concerned it was probably one of the better flights he's taken.

"Oi! Nobody can just stikk my ship wivv some big crystal wings wivvout my say-so!"

Stomping his way to the edge of the airship, he stared down the wings of the Dream of Unity at the horde of Sparks. They spoke in unison about loyalty or perfection or whatever.

"A stubborn git like you just won't get the message, will ya? You are as weak as the sorry grots you send to get stomped by us! An' it doesn't matter how many clones ya make 'coz that just means we get to krump ya that many times over! I ought to thank ya for givin' us this opportunity."

He brandished Magnolia, pointing her towards the clone crowd.

"There will be no more holdin' back from me on this one. I'll show ya my strength. My brutal kunnin'. I'll show ya the true meanin' of WAAAGH!"

Irongutta spawned in at H18, consumed some Celesap Pastries for the bonus MOV, moves over to N21 and basic attacks Throne Launcher 1 with the power of Unstoppable Force at his back!

<ROUND 303>

who updates forum games at 9am?
OH BOY, 9 AM

The Scion sends off Calypse. Is it a good idea to let it go off on its own like this? Eh, it'll probably be fine. They send it a message to go track down Droplet, whilst also taping a message to said Droplet. Calypse begins to shake violently, before it blinks out of existence. Where'd they go? Hopefully where they were meant to.

On the other side of things, the Metallurgist works with another El Iti. Why'd they resurrect them, anyway? Well, it seemed like a good idea. (Or uh, it felt wrong to let them die.) While they could go and find a new team since their old team is slightly dead, what they could also do is try and assemble something for an assault on the Citadel.

EL ITI: The old team is dead?
EL ITI: ...Good riddance. None of them would play support when it was their scheduled time to do it.
EL ITI: Imagine having a team that hated playing support so much that you needed to make a whole damn schedule around it!
EL ITI: Meanwhile, the other team has a dedicated support who respects the art of healing.
EL ITI: I would've done it, but god knows I'm the only one who knows how to click heads.

EL ITI: But. The Citadel?
EL ITI: I suppose that in exchange for getting me unbanned, I can provide my services.
EL ITI: I should be able to assemble another team of operatives. Take down their key support structures. Do some flankin'.
EL ITI: What do you say? Partners?

They extend their tiny, almost noodly arm. Seekers really are not the most intimidating of folk, even when armed with guns. But still; shall they shake on it? It might also help if they're given a proper task, being Iti and all. Probably don't want them to light everyone on fire, or push a payload into the main square.

Finally, over with Marron and Asha, the Scion mentions that they not only woke up Dawn, but that they have obtained the coveted title of "Goddess of Plagues". Not the most endearing of titles, but it probably makes sense. Marron's somewhat curious about the whole situation regarding Dawn.

MARRON: You woke them up? Uh, alright. Why'd you do that?
MARRON: Not that I'm against Asha's creation, it's just that my eyes really kinda sting right now and I need some eyedrops.
MARRON: Kinda wish I knew what was up with their god complex, too. Do all sentient rock structures just sorta think they're better than everyone else?
MARRON: Not that I... know any other sentient rock structures.

Sentient rock structures are a rare sight in this part of the universe, but Marron has likely angered all of them. Rude.

Asha wonders how to deal with a godlike(?) entity. Marron raises her hand. Or uh, her crossbow.

MARRON: I mean, worst comes to worst we can just shoot them, right?
MARRON: We've killed a god before! I mean, I think the butterfly classifies as one, right?
MARRON: At least, I won't let them vaporize you. We're too fast to vaporize.

Asha also assigns herself the title of "Goddess of Magic and Beards". Upon hearing this, Marron reaches into the inventory, pulls out a green piece of fabric, and tapes it to Asha's chin with a gentle pap. It almost looks like a beard. Almost.

MARRON: bop
MARRON: Praise be to Asha, Goddess of Magic and Beards!

Asha's divine glory radiates from her. Praise be! :marronjoy:

Echoss asks about this Redgum fellow. Aoki confirms with a simple nod that yes- this "Redgum" person goes by the name of Gum. With this in mind, Echoss goes on a roughly 30 second journey, dislocating himself up a set of stairs. He pokes Gum. Is Redgum Acuta his full name? He rolls on the spot, on his bed.

GUM: yeah
GUM: but my full name is so lame
GUM: who are you, my mom
GUM: "redgum acuta come down here right this instant i made mac and cheese"

Echoss then mentions that Aoki is here. He immediately perks up, accelerating his rolling to fall out of bed. Once he makes impact with the ground, he immediately stands up.

GUM: whoa what
GUM: did you guys conscript my girlfrien- uh, boss?
GUM: not cool
GUM: but... hold on, let me see her

Gum jumps down the staircase. Upon seeing the recording studio, he knows immediately where to find her. Resting against the western side of the studio, he quietly sneaks around her corner. Their eyes meet, and ever so discretely... they begin to hold hands.

AOKI: S-So... you really are here.
AOKI: It's... g-good to see you again.

GUM: kinda crazy to think that you'd join up with these guys
GUM: what happened? are you alright?

AOKI: Spark conscripted me. He thought that if I fought, it'd inspire more soldiers to his cause.
AOKI: I... well, it didn't go so well. But I can assure you that I'm here of my own volition.
AOKI: S-So... what brings you here?

GUM: laziness i guess
GUM: kinda nice to kick back and relax for once, after so many days of shooting in people's general directions
GUM: wanna join me?

AOKI: I'd love to, b-but... I'm busy with something.

AOKI: So...
AOKI: Would you mind assisting me?

GUM: whaaaaat
GUM: i get a few moments off and you're making me work?
GUM: laaaame

AOKI: I'm sorry. It's rather urgent, though.
GUM: i know, i know
GUM: just kiddin'
GUM: i always have time to help you

AOKI: Great! Let's get started...

The two immediately get to work, with a staggering degree of efficiency. A happy reunion, it seems. Though, you may want to explain to Gum exactly how she was recruited. You guys don't just go around and conscript random women, right? (Even if these random conscriptions prove to be very effective.)

Adria notes a long, long list of warcrimes to Spark. Though she obviously can't see him at the moment, she gets the essence of an almighty, powerful shrug.

SPARK: Ah? And who will go after me for those things?
SPARK: I am the highest authority. I cannot be arrested.
SPARK: Besides. All of what I have done is required due to the meddling of you Spherebreakers.
SPARK: And... if the Sphere can grant me so much power, who can possibly face me?
SPARK: Perhaps I shall use this Glyph to augment my rule, and make it absolute. Eternal. We shall rule over the Tabletopians as revenge for what they have done to us. They shall know their place.

Imagine if Spark had any more Glyphs to be boosted by the Thymefield. Though, odds are it won't be giving him this bonus later, will it? Plot relevance is hard to come by sometimes.

Venia... sympathizes with Spark? Huh, okay. I mean, she's still calling him a little thing (it is unclear who is taller though), but she asks him how it felt. When everything burned around him, his life's work turned to ashes. And how it felt to then be offered the ultimate weapon to retake control over all. But perhaps predictably, he is dismissive.

SPARK: You think you can understand me?
SPARK: What do you know of what I've lost before now?
SPARK: You cannot, WILL not wrench this away from me. Not after what I've been through.
SPARK: I have given my entire life to and for the Chairian people. That effort will not be ruined because of a bunch of impertinent teenagers!

Venia states that Spark will have nothing further. This is the end of the road. This is where his pathetic reign will end, once and for all. Spark can only laugh at this threat.

SPARK: HAH! What makes you believe you can stop me here?
SPARK: I possess the power of Creation! Reality bends to my will, Praefortis!
SPARK: If you want this Glyph, you will need to pry it from the cold, dead hands of all of Locaa!
SPARK: The Chairian People shall NEVER be eradicated! I shall succeed where IKEA failed- the extermination of all of his foes!

SPARK: And, let this be known, Praefortis.
SPARK: I will kill you myself.
SPARK: Not with these clones, not with this airship- I shall see personally to your own demise.
SPARK: Your corpse shall be a fine fertilizer for the rebirth of Locaa.

...Hopefully he goes through with the plan of killing her himself. That'd mean he could be slapped, and I'm sure there's at least like, 30 overkill inventory items that someone would want to use on him. Though, the poor(?) man's voice is getting rather raspy, and his breath heavy. He's not quite tripping over his words, but... something's just ever so slightly off.

Calibri suggests that the failure of the Legion was due to poor leadership. The now Spark-shaped head of the Dream of Unity... nods.

SPARK: Indeed it did.
SPARK: I made the mistake of distributing my power between the members of the Highchair.
SPARK: All of which, of course, turned on me.
SPARK: That mistake shall never be made again. I alone shall hold the power, as I am the only one responsible enough to wield it!

Irongutta yells at Spark! He's gonna stomp him like all the grots he's sent prior! A bit of confusion comes from the speaker.

SPARK: What is that. What is a "git". What is a "wagh".
SPARK: Please at least have the courtesy to properly word your threats.
SPARK: You're making the filthy miss Praefortis look like a paragon of logic and reason.
SPARK: Truly, an impressive feat.

He then rushes forward, ripping an impressive chunk out of one of the Throne Launchers. Spark sighs.

SPARK: Look at you all. Resisting.
SPARK: As if you're capable of destroying a vessel such as this with your tiny toothpicks you call "weapons".
SPARK: The Throne Launchers shall weather whatever storm you throw upon them.
SPARK: Not that I need them to destroy you. My men shall pierce the core of your Airship. With its destruction shall come the destruction of the Spherebreakers.
SPARK: Fitting that their end will come from their own broken sphere.

...He's going to focus down the core, isn't he? Prepare your face for that. Maybe have some glue on hand.

Cypress is also asked if he can go call in Vedfolnir and Harmonia. Cypress agrees, but has a quick message to convey.

CYPRESS: Certainly. Harmonia already enroute. However, Vedfolnir. Cannot pilot here. Will require other.
CYPRESS: Who is available? Must have experience. Vedfolnir: advanced. Control ease: nonexistent.
CYPRESS: Would recommend Wattle. Or Mari. However: in combat. Need replacement.
CYPRESS: Ideas?

Get someone who might be able to control Vedfolnir, and that'd be a huge boon in combat! Of course, there's always the chance someone crashes the darn thing. Choose wisely?

<THE DREAM OF UNITY, ROUND 6>
Looks like Praetorians will be arriving now. Probably just one at a time, but they're rather powerful compared to the Perfect Chairians. Speaking of those guys... there'll be a lot of them spawning every round. Those five that spawned in just this round is only the beginning. Expect hordes upon hordes of them to arrive, without cessation. I hope you have HP, MP, and generally just the ability to deal with the Perfect Chairians in a timely manner!

Zahlia first respecs by taking Abyssal Breathing in place of Pop Pop. The Great Evil has been removed. She also switches her Ace in The Hole for Phial Burst, Fire

That done, she spawns on L20, moves to N21, and uses an Exertion on Throne Launcher 1, or Perfect Soldier 9 if they are still up. She then moves to O20 and uses Riposte.

Gum and Aoki:
"'conscript' is a rather uncharitable reading of what happened."
Echoss makes his way downstairs with Gum, explaining as they go.
"She was conscripted into the legion like you were, and, according to the others as I was not present, deployed into an attempt to assassinate Cypress.
An attempt that ran afoul of the usual issue, Spark being incompetent and us being... the Spherebreakers.
Aoki was taken down along with the rest of the deployment, and after recovering from the process of her being healed afterwards, she wandered out into a picnic that myself and Chloe set up in one of the secured hallways so the other party members could eat without coming all the way back here.
She was convinced to come have something to eat, and she and I talked a bit about our lives, and our responsibilities.
I was quite surprised when she asked to join us, honestly.
...That being said I think she'll be better off here than she would be going back to her "producers".
"
Echoss spits this last word, like it's an insult instead of a job title.
"At the very least she can choose to step back should she want or need rest, and she can actually eat enough for herself here."

Battle:
Eren acts after the generator has been dropped.
Eren moves up to I15, uses a poetry pamphlet to give himself Empowered3, Guardian3, and move himself to K14. Then he chugs an Eggnog Carton for festivity, then finally triggers LEGENDARY BLADEMASTER.
From there he goes to N12 (uses 3 out of 7 MOV), then passes straight through to R8, hitting everything in that center block in the process. He uses the final melee strike to murderificate Perfect Magus 3.

Crafting at some point I hope

To-do List:
Also hand the Subspace Grocery Box to Cypress when he heads back to the house
Anti-Spark measures (anti-magic in progress, have anti-artillery to deal with airstrikes and conventional artillery support, signal blocking to prevent Praetorian or Sentinel summoning, lots of EMP options, be ready for BOSS)
Craft Serpent up some higher tier fragapple-derived attack consumables to use for pinging assists (higher range and wider splash desired over damage up)
Praetorian jail in the catacombs needs to be established, ASAP.

Make sure party prep is ready. (save for near the end of the day)
Properly seal up Linseed's room so he can't try to dig out. (save for near the end of the day)

Yato: 3 points into INT! The trek to get 10 Int for Watchful Eye begins.

After being off on a journey of self-meditation and samurai honor and stuff like that probably, Yato rejoins the party again!

Battle: Armaments. Yato spawns at H16, then moved to J12, holding out their bow, and gaze under their straw hat casting over the battle, flicking over enemies, and locations where more could come from. Cast Eagle Eye on self!

WotS(not the MTG one)

Materials used:
-Replicant matter x20
-Amberoot Log x 5

Yato's gaze fell upon the charm that they had been using for the past while. Supposedly, it had been taken from a rebel soldier, and was used for good luck. Yato had to admit that it worked, and quite effectively. Whether the more mystical properties of the charm were properly known or not, Yato could feel that underlying power, that resolve, the determination to fight on. That said, as effective as it was... it didn't quite match themselves. Calling it their charm didn't make it their own.

That said, it should be fairly easy enough to harness it. Redirect that will to survive, subvert it into the will to fight on. The will to pierce the flesh of the unjust. Carnage wasn't quite their style, but mix that rampaging instinct of the basic Iti with that more noble will to survive, temper it with some of their own magic... that should work fine. And so, for that, the Replicant Matter! Yato believed it to be the most suitable material for the job, though the fact that they had used it in the past on their bow was not lost on them. It should be tamed, but better to keep them apart just in case.

First things first, the simplest thing was to allow the replicant matter to integrate into the charm, the almost viscous matter seeping into the charm. Give it a moment to grow integrated, then attempt to begin to replicate itself... and smirk to themselves, placing a hand onto the charm, a swirling coil of fire snaking down their arm into the charm. Stimulating that will of the charm, that desire to survive ingrained into the charm... to fight back against that Iti desire to consume. A tenuous balance, consumption versus survival. And one that would last only as long as it needed to, as Yato reached over to those logs. Taking them, a tendril of fire snaked it's way into the log, to ingrain it with the desire of that spirit within Yato themselves. That blessing of the phoenix, life returning from death. Within a few moments, those logs alit, and crumbled to ash, leaving behind just the amber. Those ashes, though, did not fall. Sticking to the amber, Yato made haste to the charm.

A tricky procedure, Yato had to enchant that charm without tipping the balance in such a way that either side would outright win, but instead cause a melding of the desires. A wave of the hand, Yato melted a groove into the amber, then another, forming a... seal, of sorts. An intricate circle with curves and lines inside. The ashes settled themselves into the grooves, emblazoning themselves as the form of that seal. Yato clenched that amber, then with a grimace, shattered them. As though recognizing its destruction, the amber lit with a bright, neon orange flame, ashes alighting once more into a pure crimson, the resulting specks of dust and crystal swirling around. Reforming. Yato placed the charm right in the center of where the amber was reforming. Right in the center of that imbued immortality Yato had given the amber, the balance of the charms internal warring desires shifted, instinct paling in the face of certainty, of determination. The amber formed itself around the charm, amber resealing, with the charm at the center, a thin layer, and the engraved lines of ash. There. Yato couldn't help but smile, that simple charm, with nothing to it but the will of one soldier, shifted and reformed into something more. Something more... suitable, for Yato's own senses. Revival, ravenous bloodlust, and determination, shifted into one. Eternity. And the power to make it so. To die and be reborn from the ashes, for eternity cannot be halted. And the charm, to serve as a focus, for Yato's eternity. Hm. So they were eternal. Yato knew this, but that gave them more insight into it. Not an inability to be killed, but to come back eternally from death. Curious, that. Yato slipped their charm into a pouch, and nodded.
+1 Will of the Shogunate.

Wakizashi

Materials used:
-Soulblessed Alloy x5
-Santified Alloy x5
-Eversteel x5

While the last item was a reaffirmation of what Yato was, this was to be something different. A reinforcement of ideals, materialized. A reminder of what Yato should be. Something that felt right. Natural. To be a guardian, of eternity, and the justice behind it. That which was eternal had an endless chance to grow, and better themselves. That which was eternal was worth guarding, must be guarded. And so, Yato drew her blade. A gift from... someone. Yato was sure of that. Was it? It was odd, they should know that. The blades name, at least. It was lost to them, though. A fact that Yato had just now realized, and one they were ashamed they had not realized sooner. A samurai should know their blades name. They knew of the Worldly Spirits, that which was inside every beast and plant of the name, and the namesake of their bow, a Fell Beast.

If they did not know their blades name, they would simply have to give it one, then. Or draw out the name until it revealed itself, either would work. Regardless, Yato drew a few of the various metals from the endless abyss that was the inventory, and set their blade in the wood of the ship. Now, from the descriptions what the whispers of the materials told them of their essences, Yato had a plan. Blessed metal, and cursed. The Eversteel was the latter, and the most stubborn. Almost refused to give up its secret, but Yato had learned enough to utilize it.

The cursed metal could be offset with the blessed. Yato was unsure of the nature of Ordo, but they knew of the name, if not the finer points. It held that blessing, which could be drawn forth, and used. And so, Yato took an ingot of Eversteel, and one of the Soulblessed Alloy, and settled themselves on the deck. Their aura flared, pink, orange, and red, shrieking with the fury of flame as it formed above them in the shape of a bird. They smirked, holding each ingot in one hand, then tilting their head down, closing their eyes. They could feel it. Writhing about in one, barely contained within the metal, that raging fury, beyond even that of the Iti, to simply consume. To destroy and consume until there was nothing at all. Oblivion. Eternal, but far from eternity. Not the sort of eternity Yato was interested in, anyways. The other, stiller. Almost too still. Now this... this was order. Purity. The antithesis to that other. Both eternal in their own way, but in opposite ways. Curious. Regardless, Yato inhaled, two trails of fire spiraling down their arms towards the ingots, curling around them. That flame, orange and red, flared up as it seeped into the metal, allowing that energy a release, through Yato. The left trail, shifting black and purple. The right, a pure white. But this was not what Yato was interested in. Rather, Yato brought their hands together, the aura around them screeching once more, purifying the trail back to the orange and red, and pushing that energy out, forcing it to intermingle with that pure opposite, order and entropy, purity and corruption. Mixing the metals together, melding them into an unstable alloy. To combat this, Yato took that third metal, sanctified alloy. Perhaps not as blessed as the Sanctified Alloy, but Yato didn't need that. In fact, using that much purity would override the Eversteel's durability.

Instead, allowing it to intermingle, Yato gripped the Sanctified Alloy, that gentle hum intensifying with Yato's encouragement, seeping in as a medium between the Eversteel and the Soulblessed Alloy. And then... a surge of heat, sweat dripping down their chin, Yato surrounded themselves in a corona of white fire, a shrinking corona as they condensed that heat to a single point between their hands, to combine those three alloys, without betraying any of their intrinsic natures. The result, an alloy with that entropic unwillingness to accept that which was not it, surrounded by a pure core of blessed metal. A stressful process, but one they must repeat. Not in the exact same way, though. They drew their Wakizashi from the ground, and flipped it up in the air, balancing it between their legs as they sat. Those same three metals, the remainder of the ones they had grabbed. Again, that same heat, this time, placing the two ingots on each side of the blade, allowing it to intermingle around the blade. Melt down the metal within the blade, mingle the pure, though mundane, metal, with the more supernatural purity. Pure order, pure entropy, and something that was pure, without either. Reforging the blade, to form an edge that was keen, stubborn, and most importantly. Pure.

Purity. A necessity for eternity. Exceptions could not be allowed, imperfection must be corrected. To be eternal was to be pure. Or perhaps the goal of eternity was to seek purity? Pure purity, if such a thing existed. A reforged blade, Yato had to strive for that purity. In one form or another. To be just. To defend. A deep breath, their muscles trembling as sweat dripped from the exertion of the heat required, and from the control to prevent it from affecting the ship. Their aura alit, far more subdued than before. That phoenix, barely shimmering above their form, before it swirled around the blade. Yato swore an oath to themselves. The exact words were unimportant, and likely gibberish, but the sentiment behind it was simple. To be just in all things, and defend those who were just from harm.
+1 Warding Wakizashi.
+1 Neglected Eversteel Alloy (crafting material?)

Auth spawns on F16, uses Kindness to heal Irongutta right away (and start rebuilding his Lament stacks), and then retreats westward towards the weapons console.

Asha waves away The Scion's apology.

"No, no, don't worry about it. It's wasn't very responsible for me to half-build something like that and then just leave it, so I'm glad someone else finished the project."

She takes a sip of water, looking a bit drained from interacting with Dawn. She also humbly accepts a fake beard from Marron.

"You know, the reason Marron and I came back here in the first place was to do some cooking. Do you wanna join us? I'm not actually sure if you're into cooking or not, and I don't wanna assume anything by your skillset- but it could be fun!"

Dream of Unity

Everything around Adria stops in an instant. Painting the wings with "the blood of that child"...

Adria's voice was unusually calm, collected, and certain, though there are trace hints of bloodlust in her voice as she speaks - a far cry from the insanity with Spark. Her command was simple and to the point as she addresses her cat.

ADRIA: ...Bristle.
ADRIA: Disable her.
ADRIA: And make it painful.

ACTUAL ACTION

Cat addressed in Tazz's post, refer to that post for turn ordering. The cat uses the Weapons Controller to fire Twin Railcannons at Throne Launcher 2. It then runs to (I11) and uses True Vision on Biflora, sharply hissing at her in the process. She might find it cute at first until it shoots her with an Elemental Blaster set to Antimagic.

ADRIA: Intent to harm or... kill a child.
ADRIA: The lowest denominator.
ADRIA: Once I'm done out here... you're next.

Adria pre-emptively places a Booster Shot Chronoshade at (J16). She selfcasts Exertion with Spell Feast and Full Attention To Praise!, granting her next Basic Attack +115% DMG and +10 CRT. Thanks to Spell Feast triggering again, Adria restores 8 MP and gains Enlightened2 for three rounds. She also gains Frighten. Because, honestly, Adria's looking mighty scary right now.

Frighten (7 MP). Instantly moves target entity as many spaces away from you as their retreat value, plus 1. For 7 more MP, apply Fear4 to them for three rounds. Range 1-4. Free Action. x2 Effectiveness on Feared targets.

Adria stomps to (M22) before she hits Perfect Soldier 6 with an Alchemy Toolkit Potion (Heavy, Searing Powder, Squall Cluster for (17-17) Fire damage and +50% HIT) and gives them a horrific glare; a glare that screams "you have no idea what hell I'm about to put you through", forcing them off the cliff to their doom using Frighten.

Adria then continues on her way to (P19). From there, she gives that same Frightening glare to Perfect Magus 3, sending them to (T19). The Exosuit fires a standard Overacceleration Round (no charge, +25% DMG from Enlightened5) at Throne Launcher 2 before Adria pops up at (R19), Basic Attacking Throne Launcher 2 with a +115% DMG Exertion, +20% DMG from Chronoshade, and +25% DMG from Empowered.

She uses Timely Displacement to return to (L22).

The Symbiote uses Spike Burst after Chloe's move.

Old Pass

Shelly grins at EN's affirmation.

SHELLY: I figured you would be. After all, I saw you wield weaponry that would make a tank blush in shame several days ago. Plus you looked kinda bored.
SHELLY: ...Though it's plainly obvious that you never seen a Fell Beast before.
SHELLY: Basically, imagine a beaver. Scale that beaver up to human height and give them claws capable of ripping through wood like butter. Then give them grossly accentuated combat features and the cunning and ruthless disposition to back it up.
SHELLY: (Yeesh, sounds like something from Nedilia when I put it like that...)
SHELLY: Now imagine if that was eight times larger if my math is correct. That's a Behemoth.

Shelly looks around the place. A wide open field of not much.

SHELLY: This place is supposedly infested with the buggers. Figured this might be the place to start looking, if anywhere.
SHELLY: ...Though, other than the rumor I haven't heard or seen much.
SHELLY: You'd expect to see something supposedly that huge through a telescope up high.
SHELLY: I guess the render distance isn't up to snuff.
SHELLY: Point is, I don't have much to go off.

She extends her arms out on either side as if holding something in them.

SHELLY: We've got two options.
SHELLY: Option one, we start looking for tracks that might line up with the thing. Obviously, that's easier said than done, and might take a while. But once we find them, there's no doubt that we can follow them.
SHELLY: Option two, we ask someone. It's faster and easier, but we might end up dry in terms of information.

She lowers her arms again.

SHELLY: Or I guess we could do both at the same time. Cover more ground.
SHELLY: I know a thing or three about tracking; it's basically part of my homeworld's entire shtick at this point, for better or worse. I can do some looking around here, easy.
SHELLY: You... well, of course, you seem to be much better known around these parts. Perhaps you could ask around, see if you could gather any information. Maybe find someone more knowledgeable about the lands here, like the librarian or the detective... yeah, maybe The Sleuth. Could also help with tracking should it come to it.
SHELLY: Sound like a plan?

Verdana (actually i also have no idea where this is)

Adria hmmms to herself, then nods.

ADRIA: Yes, this does line up with what I've seen with my Timeclones later in the timeline.
ADRIA: But my word, the methodology is something quite extravagant, isn't it!
ADRIA: The merger of souls... though, something still feels a little... off?
ADRIA: The formatting in the disc is exactly like the formatting found in devices such as the scanner.
ADRIA: Is there... perhaps something I'm failing to consider?
ADRIA: Hmmm...

She's lost in thought. It might be smart to speak up before she goes too deep.

Machining and Fabrication

Adria tilts her head when Mari mentions her previously living in a Mindscape.

ADRIA: (...As I feared... nowhere to go anymore.)

ADRIA: Yeah, just... take it easy. I understand.
ADRIA: Honestly, sometimes, I need to learn how to do just that...
ADRIA: I mean... I-I just got back to normal today and I'm... already doing a lot. Far more than reasonable, perhaps.
ADRIA: ...M-maybe I should relax a little too.

She looks around for a few chairs. If she finds some, she pulls one over for herself, and one for Mari if she wants. If not... she pulls out the correct number of strange looking disc-shaped devices, and sets them down. She turns them on, revealing hardlight chairs of sorts. When sitting down, a small panel appears out in front of the user, revealing several settings for the comfort of the user.

Adria sits down in a standard position, legs crossed.

ADRIA: A "Mindscape", huh...
ADRIA: I admit, I have never heard of anything like that before.
ADRIA: I'm guessing it's... some sort of landscape attached to one's mind?
ADRIA: Odd how something like that could exist... it sounds so... alien, almost.

House

...A little while later, Dorothy perks up, as if she was just made alert to something serious. Her head gently turns in the general direction of the Skylabs.

Of course, Hannah was still right beside her. She rises from the bed to meet her, looking her in the eyes, concerned.

HANNAH: ...You alright Dorothy?
DOROTHY: S-something's... something's just gone wrong...
HANNAH: ...
HANNAH: That's... that's right... you have that sorta sixth sense thing.
HANNAH: And there's only one place where things could've gone wrong.

HANNAH: Got a funny feeling some ground support is needed. I'll need at least one other person to back me up.

She gently tugs on Dorothy's arm.

HANNAH: Want in?

Dorothy stands up, as does Hannah.

DOROTHY: S-sure, but... d-do you mind if we bring Sophie, t-too?
DOROTHY: I-it might be... dangerous.

Hannah shrugs.

HANNAH: Eh, sure. I guess you're near her if that popped into your mind. While we wait, I'm gonna check on the airship. You can get Sophie.
DOROTHY: O-okay!

As Dorothy heads off to contact Sophia, Hannah heads to the portal. She peeks her head through the portal to the airship, only to find green crystal spikes jutting out, and presumably a ton of Legion members, battered. She quickly shuts off the portal after retreating back into the house side.

HANNAH: Okay yep can't go through there right now
HANNAH: Glider it is, then.

Hannah heads outside to ready the glider for three people.

The moment Hannah finishes hooking up a third "seat", Dorothy returns with Sophia.

SOPHIA: Hannah, Hi! What's up?
HANNAH: Prepping the glider. Something big's happened.
DOROTHY: Um, w-why the glider?
HANNAH: Can't go through the airship portal right now. I checked, there were a bunch of wounded Legion in there along with these weird green crystal spires.
HANNAH: Safe to say the thing isn't at the labs right now.

SOPHIA: So like, we're gonna fly up ourselves?
HANNAH: Yep. Might be dangerous too.
HANNAH: Hop on. I doubt we have much time.

SOPHIA: Gotcha!
DOROTHY: A-alright!

The three children climb aboard the glider, with Hannah at the helm, Dorothy in the middle, and Sophia at the back. Hannah starts the engines and the trio get as much of a running start as they could. They take off towards the Skylabs proper.

Above The Labs

Hannah and co. fly up above the Skylabs, heading to Central from the south side. They are presumably away from the Dream of Unity, but perhaps not far enough to not catch a glimpse of it and the airship. But that's not important.

While flying above the Central Labs, the trio look down to assess the damages to the area.

STATISTICS

"The Scion" chooses more INT on her next Mana Manipulator choice.
BATTLES - DREAM OF UNITY INTERIOR

Unofficial Orders:
Godhand move to G11 and Aerorend north.
Remiel's Relinquished Soldier Shadow Cleavers both of the other Perfect Soldiers, downing Soldier 4 (in theory).
Bauhaus does his thing.
The Exorook punches PSoldier 3, downing them (hopefully -- have someone else finish them off if necessary).
Remiel cleans up corpses with Cherry Energy and/or Relinquish Will.
Taeda heals Scion and moves up to about... G7?.
Scion hacks console.
Wattle moves to I8 and activates Adrenaline Synth.

"The Scion" waits until the path is clear, then moves to G3 and hacks the console. If she can't make it there because the enemies are still alive after everyone else has gone for some reason, she Reinvigorates Wattle so he can hopefully solve the issue.
EL ITI

"The Metallurgist" shrugs and takes El Iti's noodly arm with her rather intimidating, powerful metal one.

"THE METALLURGIST": Try not to kill any Chairians while you're at it.
"THE METALLURGIST": The Spherebreakers are a bit squeamish. Don't enjoy getting their hands bloody.
"THE METALLURGIST": Unless you come up against some of Spark's new mindless wood puppets. Those things don't count.
"THE METALLURGIST": And, don't try to contact WARE again. He's the one who installed DRM on you in the first place, and I don't want to have to repair you again.

ASHA + MARRON

"The Scion" brightens at the offer--and then immediately pulls back with a guilty expression on her face.

"THE SCION": I... probably shouldn't touch any food...
"THE SCION": Not unless I'm the only one eating it, I mean...
"THE SCION": Not that I need contact to get you sick, but that part's harder to suppress, so...
"THE SCION": ...Who am I kidding? I could be a, a world-class chef if we wanted to be. Or even a version of me that doesn't put you in danger.
"THE SCION": It just... wouldn't be
her. It wouldn't be me, you know?

Unless Asha has been eavesdropping on all of "the Scion"'s other conversations, she probably does not know. Marron might have a slightly better idea of what's going on.
STAR AETERNA

This is kind of a loaded question, but Star doesn't seem to take any offense. They pause for a moment to figure out how on Sussui to answer.

STAR: I am a star born of the great violet wooden furnace of the Sphere
STAR: I was created in purple light, to serve a perfect role for the old Chairinheritor from beyond spacetime
STAR: There were five among us
STAR: we were to put on great shows and tricks and inspire the ways of light and shadow
STAR: together we could Not Be Stopped; we were perfect as one~
STAR: But one day my dreams began to change
STAR: They became softer, grayer, more subdue more nuance
STAR: Instead of grand spectacle I turned to painting
STAR: I wished to chart the stars instead of seize them
STAR: I was imperfect my edges no longer fit into the puzzle
STAR: for some time I cursed my foolish ways,
STAR: ...
STAR: But these days I think perhaps they were the ones that were flawed.
STAR: For they have not seen the truth that I see

Star turns, their gaze penetrating the Sphere with a million-yard stare.

STAR: That perhaps there is not glory awaiting us with the purple one's reign
STAR: That there is only suffering pain and suffering
STAR: And maybe he is suffering too

Moving first, Destiny moves to I14, and uses Whirling Blades, moving to J14 (eliminating the Generator), west to N14, O15, N16, O16. She grabs the items on the shelf before retreating to N14 and Observing Exoknight 2.

OMO: Drink a Fresh Smoothie, move to G17, hit Console. Retreat to H16.
MAPLE: Toss a True Heroine Potion at Chloe. Move to J16, destroy Storm Beacon, retreat forwards to L13.
CHLOE: Use a Pickaxe Sharpening Kit. Move to N12, use Heroine's Flash 3 times, R8, N12, and use Bleeding Edge.
---------------

Meanwhile, Crya gets to crafting! She takes 10 Cobblestone and... the bag of gorilla, and gets to crafting! She sets out the cobblestone on the ground. She forms a giant hammer of ice... and smashes the cobblestone to bits! She hammers them down into palm sized pieces for a good 15 seconds or so. She takes the pebbles and puts them all into a giant ice bowl. Finally, she takes out the the bag of gorilla and pours it into the bowl. After some mixing and shaking, out comes a supply of gorilla covered rocks...

gorilla Covered Rocks (T?)
"This would be called an affront to god if it was not made by one."
Deal (2-3) Poison damage. Inflict Poison4 for 3 rounds. Taunts enemies hit for a round.

Yato smirked to themselves. With the way forward more relatively clear, Yato moved to M14, and licked their lips, casting their weapon skill! The 3-4 turn ramping up of Yato's damage continues!

Battle - Base of Unity

The Calfusion visibly delights in the destruction of the first throne launcher, clearly eager to see more of that happening. It throws both hands up in an excited motion and NOT a surrender motion even though I know that's what most people think of when they hear "throws both hands up".

"Haha! One down. Two more to go... Eh, we can handle it. Just need to think."

The fusion taps the ground with the non-pointy end of the lance, somehow. Then, it turns to Aoki.

"Hey. Music lady, uh... Aoki. That's your name. Probably should've lead with that, but to be fair, it's hard to think with three different minds... Anyway, need a favor, I'll pay you back later in some way or another, just power me up and I'll try sorting out a few things in this battle, yeah?"

Aoki: use "Forevermore" on Calibri

After being powered up by that additional boost, the fusion's usual aesthetic violently flares up into an even more overwhelming display, three different multicoloured auras surrounding the humanoid form while three ethereal sets of wings appear, one red, one blue, one yellow.

Someone might want to give the fusion lessons on how to not have a stupidly over-the-top style.

But that's not going to happen right now, so let's focus on the battle actions. They're surprisingly simple for something so powerful, funnily enough.

After being buffed by Aoki, the fusion moves to P19, then casts Shield Slam with the Shield Toss modifier at Throne Launcher 2, then does the same cast again.

By my calculations, this is (65-70)x2 Crushing.

Flavortext: Upon getting into position, the fusion stops in place, resting on the nearby piles of sandbags. There's a pause...

"Alright, alright... Jettison the armor. It'll grow back, we can live without it for a bit."

A thunderous sound rumbles from the body of the fusion, then a swarm of sharp-looking red crystal shards detach from the fusion's form, a few streaks of rainbow dust scattering into the air. Seconds later, those shards swarm together, forming into a pair of gigantic red crystals, an aura of blue-tinted winds and yellow lightning surrounding them. After they've had a moment to form and aim, both crystals then surge forth, slamming into the Throne Launcher with devastating force.

...

After Venia's move, something strange happens.

"Hey Venz! Catch!"

The fusion flickers primary-red for a moment, the extremely overdone aesthetics flickering to follow suit. It then tosses a Woodreaver Skewer over to Venia. After that, it reverts back to how it was before.

The Old Pass

EN listens to the plan of action, then nods at Shelly. At the same time, she decides to arm herself up, preparing the Reactor Rifle from way back when. Lord, it's been a while since that was a thing, huh...

"A'ight. Got me gun, got a plan, le's figure this out..."

She pulls out a cellphone. It's a fliptop. Why is it that all the Engietech employees seem to be using these things, anyway? Still, at least they work. EN then dials a number, waiting for a while. On the other end, the Sleuth should receive a phonecall from EN.

"Yo. Detectivo. Ya any good at findin' stuff 'bout th' local wildlife? 'eard 'bout some kinda... Fell God. Like a Fell Behemoth, but 's way bigger. Kinda wonderin' if ya got any deets, or means o' findin' deets."

The Everground

...Is this section necessary anymore? Could probably do away with it... I'll think about it. In the meantime, S.E.D decides to mine some Eversteel, doing so by using a precision-focused laser beam of sorts to vaporize the rock around it and eventually pull the entire vein out from the cavern wall.

The... um... where is this happening?

Verdana glances aside when Adria starts musing on things. Then, he decides it might be best to realign her focus. So he comments.

"Honestly, given who programmed all that, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out he knew some details in advance. Besides, does it really matter how it's presented?"

A shrug.

"Might be an idea to think more about what you plan to do with the information, not the information itself."

Well, Star was described as being at the house, so... Zone 0 - The House?

Thankfully, Sol Aeterna the weapon remains unharmed. Which is probably due to the nature of its design. Or her design. It's hard to tell where the weapon ends and the entity begins. Either way, she remains silent for only a short time period.

"No need for concern. I am unharmed. The other matters, we shall tend to later."

A pause...

"...Presently, there is little to occupy my attention. We have time to converse, so... What are you?"

--------------------
"Their story has concluded for now. Currently, you follow mine."
