House

Venia remembers a few somethings really quickly, and speaks to the Sleuth. "Oh, I almost forgot! ...Kinda feels strange. Anyways, Maria. She's gonna be terrified of you because, well, you know. Might want to apologize to her... Carefully. Uh, I'll go with you?"

Oh hey this sounds like a good idea to make right now, like an actually good idea and not a 'Good Idea' that gets you killed, the kind that keeps you from dying.

Calm Mind Shard

Venia hasn't received news of the retrieval of the Revelation yet. That would certainly make her think about things. Still, for now, she has another thing to worry about-Bass's mental corruption. The Golden Dream Ring is only really a 'window' in, and Venia couldn't affect much. The damage to Bass's mind would hardly be solvable via the Psyche Shard alone, nevermind her own safety.

The solution, as is always the case to anything and everything Entropy-related, was more Pulchritude.

Venia does nothing especially fanciful in her opinion-just carving down little leylines into the Psyche Shard to allow it to receive an additional power, then quite simply pumping in the power of a whole Order Singuarity into the device. Nothing else to it.

The result is no Entropic Key, and remains a noncombat tool despite its sharp and fiery appearance. However, against the most horrific entropic distortions the mind had to offer, it is anathema.

Materials Used: Psyche Shard, Order Singularity x1.

(T...5? 6?) Calm Mind Shard
The core of the Eliti Lucid, now pulsing with an ordered power. Has the ability to allow the user to interact with Mindscapes and wield the power of Pulchritude, but not access them. Effective against Entropic mindscape things. WARNING: You may get violently maimed by things in the Mindscape while active!

Bass

"Owowowow."

Venia is not comfortable with her current situation, but decides that diving headfirst into static is a terrible idea, so she just ventures to her east and enters what would be the Scalefused Chamber, searching for clues.

Rosen Catacombs

Meanwhile, in the actual rosen catabcombs, shortly after the fight, Venia hears the Reflector Nia's... Exposition.

"... OK then! I honestly do not have a response to that. Just don't have the Reflector shift into me no matter how tempted you are, or they are, and all shall be well," Venia says, not providing context at all, wearing a smile of purest 'oh god why.' "Excuse me while I contemplate the meaning of existence and try to forget you quoting the Stanley Parable."

Venia, possibly with Nia (I'm not Ire), proceeds to leave the room. "Only one place left to go... And no key in sight."

Venia shrugs, and walks towards the iron door. With all these text-based descriptions, perhaps one can forget that Venia is a seven-foot-six goliath of a young woman, shapely but rippling with strength. She adopts a stance suitable for kicking before the door, then... Channels Terraform directly into the walls around it, forcing them to slide away and shape into the area around her, creating ample space in the hallway ahead.

"And here we go," Venia says.

Originally, my post was going to be something else. But I am told it is best strategically for me to do what will be outside the spoiler. This is the orignal post (which i am keeping here because at this time it is not Entirely certain it would be better to the not-spoilered thing, and i may wish to bring back the spoilered later.); you should probably just ignore it.
Original post text
JOE takes a metal thing with a button on it out of his pocket. then he takes another one out. Then he tries to take a third one out, but can't find any. Shrugging, he presses the first one, which is the Remote Airship Controller. The airship fires Light Laser Turrets at Assassin1. Then, if this is an option and it will both avoid targetting walls and avoid targetting off-screen, it uses Underwing cannon on 12A for a 1/3 chance of hitting both assassins at once, followed by a Light Laser Turret use on Assassin2. Otherwise, if the ruleslawyering abuse option is not an option, it uses dual railcannons on Assassin2, probably killing it.
Then, JOE notes he should have generated 3 GP, and dumps said 3 into the 'Shield' ability for the AC and SHP boost.
Thirdly, JOE activates Trion Form! After a few seconds of obligatory transformation with a sheen of light passing down his body while the clothes and stuff switch around and the ordinary body gets stored inside the Trigger while a new body is conjured out of Trion, and all that. total Trion is ... 81, or 82 if rounded up. current trion would be either (52.2+36.smth from the specials heal, rounding down to 81 or 82), or (((49/52)+(4/37))/2)+0.45=97.52079%... which is regardless almost identical. So, Trion's at least 80, might be 82, might be 81, might be 80 exactly. Also, Rage Catalyst gives me 5 enlightened via Schemer! and, you know, the rest of its buffs.
Then, if ASSET_DATA_CORRUPTED can be used to intensify existing status effects (presumably by 3, considering that's what it gets with new Status effects), He uses it to improve his Enlightened by 3 to Enlightened 8 or maybe 9 (if Schemer applies to the intensification, which is a fuzzy thing I think but pretty doubtful.).

Anyway, having obtained Trion Form, JOE rapidly moves to Q11(moving to P8 and then around the enemy ZoC- I have the SHP to survive their attack without even any wounds and enough Trion that they can't Very Lethal me unless it technically counts as 0% HP due to not being HP.
On Arrival, JOE quickly starts to cast a spell. But which spell? He recounts the past few turns of battle. let's see... he has... uh... y'know, he can't quite recall casting any spells other then illusionary trap. what even Were his other spells? uhhh.... he knows he had, um... Illusionary trap? and also maybe illusionary trap? and come to think of it, didn't he use illusionary trap earlier? Yeah, he'll use Illusionary Trap! [s] this is a shocking turn of events

Enlightened 5 and Resonant 2 means 7 buff levels, applied to an initial damage of 21-22, which means 36-37 damage. Or, if ADC worked, enlightened 8, meaning 10 buff levels, meaning an Initial damage of 42-44. The Illusions are Double-Illusion, meaning either 24-25 damage each, or 28-29 damage each. These Illusions are created at either T10 and S12- if Enlightened is at 5- or T14 and T12, if it's 8. Regardless, my illusions imitate a confetti sentry from the inventory and a Mirror Image of me. Since they almost certainly wouldn't doubt the reality of the Confetti Sentry if I actually summoned it, they shouldn't doubt it here; and Since I've only cast double-illusions so far and I'm making it look like I only spell-conjured one thing this time, they'll hopefully be convinced by the mirror image. After casting the spell, I retreat to P12.[/s]

TL;DR:

Actual post contents: Use the Warp Ring to move the Eviscera3 to S6, Spend 3 GP (which i should have from generation last round) on 3 sharpness, move to T10, attack Gatlingturret1.

Strategery suggestion to The Sleuth: If the warp ring still has a charge (inventory says it should start at 3, it's been used twice total, it should have a charge), moving to S11(possible due to Eviscera3 movement with warp ring earlier. Avoid Duneyrr ZoC until the last move), then using the Warp Ring to W12(or W11, both work) and casting a Cleave which-they-have-because-magic-mode to the left will hit the Stablizer, both Gatling Turrets, and then also the Duneyrr 3 times.
strategery suggestion for the Tank(or any other non-item-using-this-round NPC?): using the RAC to double railcannon+laser turret the Duneyrr's Stablizer.

Auth nods, as Nana suggests they get back to work.

AUTH: Sounds good, Nana. I hope we can wrap this up quickly... the Catacombs make me uncomfortable. And I usually like that sort of space...

As Auth walks through the Catacombs with Nana, he has a thought... they still have the remainder of a the ressurection ritual materials. Not enough to revive someone, but... by the same token, there might be something they could do with it. Auth thinks of someone horribly, grievously wounded by the party. There was nothing to do at the time... that idea still bothers Auth. So as he walks past Omo, he stops.

An idea has occurred. He gets her attention.

AUTH: Hey, Omo? I hope this isn't too much of a bother, but... I've had an idea and I kind of need a hand pulling it off.
AUTH: Could you contact Cypress? I believe he was the one in charge of the Skylabs... would it be possible to contact him with an urgent message?

Auth pauses to let Omo think about it.

AUTH: The thing is, I... still feel bad about what happened to Acacia. And I had an idea about healing her, since we have some things now that we didn't at the time. Basically, my idea was to do more-or-less a smaller version of the ritual on a still-living person, and I think that would heal a lot better than any of the abilities we have.
AUTH: The thing is, that involves a lot of, y'know, kinda complicated steps. Like summoning Wattle up there, and... I mean, I don't know what they've done to her, so I don't want to assume, but...
AUTH: I remember how scared she was of going up there. If there's something I can do... I'd feel better having tried, y'know? Instead of maybe letting this idea go by...
AUTH: Basically, there's some preparation that needs to be done before tomorrow... and I certainly can't do it all myself.

Auth appears to be kind of nervous asking. Maybe that explains the unconscious rambling.

RP - house:

Thinking quickly, EN constructs some targets via stretching some Bloodhound Hide out way more than it ought to be stretchable, awkwardly forcing the hide into the shape of sacks, stuffing them full of dirt, and trying them up with... wire scraps?... so that they don't just ping open again. Then, she stares at the resulting target sacks for a moment.

"Ya reckon these'll do fer targets? Ah reckon ah can throw 'em a decent ways."

Battle - ANY TIME A BUNCH OF ANIMALS ARE TOGETHER IN ONE PLACE, IT'S CALLED A ZOO! UNLESS IT'S A FARM!

Verdana stares in disbelief at the above action title, then goes back to business. Then, he shrugs, and moves to T16, greeting Eviscerator 4 with a wave and very suspicious words.

"Hi! I'm legally obligated to make it just hard enough to get out of here so you don't suspect there's a trap involved in kidnapping my teammate."

He then turns around and Newton Hammers the Duneyrr's Stabilizer. This is clearly the optimal move. Also, since he has the skillpoint threshold met, I'm going to assume he can apply Gravity Well to put Lockdown on the other parts. Does this mean anything significant? Probably not.

The SB1 Armadillo does whatever the hell Joe meant when he made a suggestion for it since I have no idea what the RAC is and haven't been able to find it anywhere.

<ROUND TWO-HUNDRED AND TEN>

Echoss and Chloe have a quaint picnic! Echoss summons two burritos with bonus Plate DLC, Chloe gives a smile to Echoss as she salivates internally.

CHLOE: Ah, they look good!
CHLOE: Thanks a bunch!
CHLOE: Let's eat!~

Chloe begins to munch down on her burrito, her spirits rising with each bite! As they eat, Echoss makes a comment about field rations. The swordswoman nods in response.

CHLOE: I don't think I'd be able to live on just field rations!
CHLOE: Have you ever had a Chairian field ration? They're like, these bottles of nutrient... stuff.
CHLOE: I had a sip of one, and I seriously wanted to vomit!
CHLOE: It was definitely filling, though. I guess that's the point. A meal in a bottle.
CHLOE: Having only those to eat everyday must really hurt their morale...
CHLOE: Makes me want to host them a nice lil' bake sale for them.

CHLOE: Good thing we have you!
CHLOE: Oh, and Marron!
CHLOE: Marron's an amazing chef! We haven't had a bad dinner yet!
CHLOE: Always something to look forward to after a hard day's work!

While the two continue their meal, Echoss requests Mari's aid for repairs. She nods.

MARI: I mean, I guess it's technically my fault...
MARI: And by "technically", I mean that my PC couldn't run Crysis, so it blew up.
MARI: ...I'll go get some duct tape.

Mari pulls 5 Refined Wood out of the Inventory, and hands it off to her drones. Echoss's golems meanwhile, employ 10 Refined Wood. Most of the damage is already undone. Elsewhere, a golem delivers a holy dew to a Rebel Griefer. They're not very capable of motion at the moment, so the golem's forced to pour it down their mouth. This cures their various ailments. Exhausted, the rebel collapses.

Then, in the Everground, Pionobot crouches to the side of the island, looking down. This does nothing though, so he scrolls his mouse wheel down, peeking down a few tiles. This reveals a few new rows, and a nest of Iti. Great.

Nia is then asked to upgrade the Sentient Sock Puppets and the Fractalhead Flowers. This eats up 200 Credits total, yields 2 Flux, and then yields... Sock Puppet Lawyers and Infinite Glories.

NIA: The sock puppets want to sue you for illegal modification.
NIA: Well, they wanted to sue me, but... I blamed you, so now they want to sue you!
NIA: Sorry~

Malik buckets up a floor. This deals (2) HP of nausea to him. Now he's up here. He should probably refill his stomach with food.

The Reflector +1's their AGI, then shares a chat with Venia and Nia. The wizard doesn't even question the appearance of the chairs, making herself comfy as she listens to what the mirror image has to say. They note that their ultimate dream is to be... her. Well, maybe "someone", and not specifically Nia, but who knows?

...Nia fails to properly process this.

NIA: So you... want to be me?
NIA: I mean, feel free to keep being me for as long as you like!
NIA: I like you, me! You're fun.

As she presses on, Nia begins to properly process it. The Reflector doesn't have an identity. They have nothing. Nia ponders this.

NIA: U-Um...
NIA: I don't know how to deal with that.
NIA: Maybe we could like, paint something onto your blank canvas of a body, and...
NIA: No no no, that's dumb...

NIA: Uh...
NIA: Think there's anything we can do about it?

Her concern is then quickly replaced with light to moderate fear once her eyes go glassy. And then, concern once again.

NIA: Hey, you alright?
NIA: You kinda just... went freaky for a bit.
NIA: Did you realize you did that? I dunno.

They then decide to go and craft an item! They slap together the Disco Dome with one of Protemitor's Hands, creating the Hand-Mask of Lux! It does as requested, and obtains that +1 MP Regen.

Venia asks the Sleuth to go and apologize to Maria. He nods.

THE SLEUTH: The Sleuth agrees to the request, slowly nodding his head. "Of course, madam."
THE SLEUTH: He makes a point to investigate the identity of this 'Maria' figure, so that he may-

Venia promptly grabs the Sleuth by the arm, and to speed the plot up, drags him over to Maria. Small child. Cute child.

THE SLEUTH: The Sleuth clears his throat.
THE SLEUTH: "Hello, small child. I am the Sleuth."
THE SLEUTH: Having been made to slay Godmodders, the Sleuth attempts to hide the fact that he is not accustomed to talking with small people.

CHLOE: You... uh, do realize I can hear your internal monologue, right?
THE SLEUTH: The Sleuth glares at Chloe. What was she talking about?
THE SLEUTH: She was clearly hysterial.

CHLOE: N-No I'm not!
THE SLEUTH: His suspicions were confirmed. She was talking at nothing.
CHLOE: U-Ugh...

Elsewhere, to aid in her exploration of the Mindscape, Venia throws an Order Singularity at her Psyche Shard, upgrading it into the Calm Mind Shard! With this new power, she decides to venture into an eastern room within the Mind's Catacombs. That's what I'm calling it now. Inside, he finds... a normal looking Chairian sitting at a desk, dressed in casual wear. A red hoodie, black sweatpants... normal things. The hood is up, so she can't quite see the face of the figure. Across from him is a Rose Cultist, who's formal cultist robes are adorned with a bow-tie, made of the shapes of <0>. So, a >0<. Stylish! They seem to be having a discussion.

BOW-TIE: So, you're sir... Bass, right?
BASS: yes sir that is me
BOW-TIE: Good! So... tell me a little about yourself.
BASS: oh, uh

He pauses.

BASS: my name is bass americana, and i would like to join the rose cult
BASS: i'm 38 years old, have a degree in the performing arts, and i am looking for a stable job with a stable income because apparently it is impossible to get a job in my field
BOW-TIE: Sir Bass, if you did your research, you'd know we have neither of those,
BASS: okay yeah i know
BASS: the real reason i'm here is actually a bit... embarrassing, so don't tell anyone
BASS: the truth is

He leans in close to the bow-tied cultist.

BASS: i'm here to get c h i c k s
BASS: somebody told me the rose cult has crazy hot chicks
BASS: And I.
BASS: Am.
BASS: ...incredibly lonely!

Bass raises his arms into the air with that last line of dialogue. The bow-tied cultist fiddles with his papers- they appear to be a resume of sorts. He's rather confused.

BOW-TIE: So... you wish to join the Rose Cult to pick up... "chicks".
BASS: yes
BOW-TIE: Um.

BOW-TIE: ...Honestly, we've had worse reasons for joining.
BOW-TIE: Welcome to the team, sir Bass!
BOW-TIE: You will find that we have the craziest, hottest "chicks".
BASS: niceeeee
BASS: Also, if they're literally crazy, I will sue.

Both Bass and the bow-tied cultist suddenly turn to face Venia, staring right at her. There's a silence. Suddenly, a loud applause fills the room! Bass and the cultist bow, then exit stage left. A pair of curtains materialize in the room, sealing it off. A cultist then materializes by Venia's side, and escorts her out of the room. They bow, then shut the door behind her.

That was... productive? Perhaps the other rooms in this area have similar layouts? Venia then decides to go and take Nia by the hand, leading her down to (Q37), preparing to kick down the down! Nia charges up a Super Soak to join her, and is promptly deflated a little when she just terraforms the door out of the way.

NIA: Aw. Laaaame.
NIA: Oh well. Let's go!

The two of them step into the hallway... and immediately begin to plummet. Seems like gravity's pointing towards the end of the hallway. So effectively, they just stepped into a pit. Nia begins to freak out.

NIA: Wait, whoa whoa WHOOAAAAAAAA-

Nia tumbles through the gravity-flipped hallway, slamming into a wooden platform that's been crudely bolted into the wall on her way down. It splinters and shatters, and she spins out as she slams into a pile of rubble below. A pile of rubble that's been covered in pillows.

NIA: A-Augh...
NIA: V-Venia? W-What... happened?
NIA: My e-everything stings...

...Nia's eyes flutter shut as she groans in pain. Seems she's been put out of commission- at least, temporarily. Maybe tend to her, and figure out the mysteries of this hallway? Also, see if you can climb out? That might be difficult, though.

Daskter +1's their MMP, and rotates their spells. It was a good way to go.

Mustache Girl has a small picnic. Well, maybe it's not much of a picnic given that she's bandaging herself up, but the lack of threats in the area allows this simple act to restore all of her missing HP. Also, Bow Kid +1's their MHP.

Auth asks Omo if she's capable of contacting Cypress. She nods, pulling out the scanner.

OMORIKA: Most certainly, sir Author.
OMORIKA: While I do not have a direct means of contact on my person at the moment, I believe that Cypress should be able to receive messages through this system.
OMORIKA: I suppose I can see if I can address an entry to him...

She prepares a message, listening to Auth for the contents. He feels bad as for what happened to Acacia, and wishes to heal her using a version of the Ritual that was used on Ette. Omo, though she's prepared the message, decides to hold off on sending it for now.

OMORIKA: ...I wonder if that'd work?
OMORIKA: While of course I, and I'm sure the others in the Skylabs wolud appreciate the sentiment, Acacia's already probably been outfitted with Cypress's modifications, whatever those may be.
OMORIKA: We also do not know if we're capable of performing a smaller "ritual" on living organisms at the moment.
OMORIKA: If you wish to do such a thing, I believe it'd be best to make sure that it works, first.
OMORIKA: Perform a test on someone who's been wounded by flames, or someone who's missing a limb?
OMORIKA: Then perhaps, we could convince Cypress to uninstall Acacia's modifications...

OMORIKA: If that does work, I'm sure that Acacia would be eternally grateful.
OMORIKA: ...I hope she's well.

Omorika takes a sip from her coffee.

OMORIKA: If you'd like help in modifying the ritual, I could do my best to help.
OMORIKA: Although, maybe we should ask miss Marron? She's one of the few to actually properly perform the ritual.
OMORIKA: I am unsure...

EN constructs some targets for Taeda! This uses 3 Bloodhound Hide, and 6 Wire Scraps. She then begins to huck these targets through the air, and Taeda tries her hardest to riddle them with bullets. While she of course misses 95% of her shots at first, her aim slowly improves... until she only misses like 91% of her shots. It's something.

TAEDA: T-This is really hard!
TAEDA: D-Do you know if I should be t-trying to lead targets? I know that a few Archers say that they need to predict where their targets are moving, but I don't know how much I s-should be leading them...

TAEDA: Thank you for the help, though! It means a lot!
TAEDA: N-Now, if only these s-stupid firearms were e-easier to use...

The two of them continue their practice, but it seems that Taeda's beginning to get both tired and frustrated. It seems she might need some rest, encouragement, or a drink.

Generic joins the game! A few things to note:
-You may want to modify your resistances. You haven't set some of them, so you're missing out on potential resistances!
-Your special and trait have received some light modifications, mostly for the better. Enjoy!

Welcome! Or is it welcome back? I dunno. You did play Chaos. Point is, we're glad to have you back!

<FORTIFIED FARM, ROUND FIVE>
The Rebel attack force has been fended off! Linseed and his men have fled within the gigantic Duneyrr walker. With its stabilizer destroyed, it runs off with a somewhat funny limp... but unfortunately for miss Omorika, it's much too fast for her to follow. Try as she might to run after it, a gigantic spider robot is still far, far faster than her clogs would allow her to move. She trips and stumbles over the root of a tree as she follows it into the woods.

OMORIKA: N-No! I won't let you get away!
OMORIKA: Sir Echoss! I-I promise! I will save you!
OMORIKA: I won't... let... them...

By the time she gets up, the Duneyrr has gotten much too far away for her to pursue. If only she had spider legs like Hersilia. With little in the way of options, she turns and returns to the farm. Given the bomb that the Rebels placed within the storage room, the Farm certainly looks like a wreck. But it's nothing that shouldn't be impossible to repair. Omo collapses in front of the farm, exhausted.

OMORIKA: T-They're... gone.
OMORIKA: They took him. Echoss.
OMORIKA: I can... hardly believe that I a-allowed this to happen...
OMORIKA: W-Why?
OMORIKA: T-They should've taken me. I would've been more valuable to them.
OMORIKA: Then, nobody else would be in danger...

She continues to lie there, too exhausted to move. Perhaps it'd be worth having someone go and comfort her...

...

Echoss finds himself within a cramped cell within the Duneyrr. Seems like they have a small holding cell for situations exactly like these. His arms are restrained behind his back, a curious pair of handcuffs chaining his wrists together. Seems like they're of the magical sort. A rebel guard, stationed in front of the cell, takes notice of Echoss's awakening.

REBEL: Hey you!
REBEL: You're finally awake.
REBEL: You were trying to cross the Rebels, right? Walked riiiight into our ambush, same as that guy, and that thief there!

...Seems there's another holding cell, holding two somewhat beaten-up looking Chairians. They seem to be part of the Legion. It's a bit unclear how long they've been here for, and for what reasons. Neither seem to be conscious.

REBEL: Damn you Outsiders.
REBEL: Sussui was fine until you came along-

LINSEED: Be quiet.

Linseed steps into the brig. Seems that his injuries from the earlier combat have already been tended to.

LINSEED: Make this easy for us. Please state your identity, as well as for affiliation and rank within the Outsider forces.
LINSEED: Fail to cooperate, and we will be forced to make you talk.
LINSEED: Are we clear?

...A very simple order. No time to waste, it seems.

Anyway, it looks like Echoss is suffering from a minor case of being kidnapped. He can still participate in battles and such (maybe more if he justifies it in roleplay), but it seems like he'll need to deal with the whole "being kidnapped" thing as well. Maybe you can talk your way out of this? Or maybe even get some useful information on the whole situation.

The farm having been saved, or at least the battle concluded, JOE starts to fade back into obscurity. Halfway through, he decides to create some defences first. The last set helped out, so why not? First, he grabs some manabloom seeds from the inventory. Marking out clearly (by which I mean, leaving a thin and almost-unnoticable scratch in the ground for later reference) the locations, he plants manablooms in a few key locations around the farm. For each of the seeds, he also retrieves a psychoid leaf, crushes it into mulch, and places it atop the relevant seed. That prepared, he moves to each Manabloom seed, and casts Illusionary Trap for them. of course, this isn't a very good defence; Illusionary Trap dissipates after only a few rounds. But he proceeds to tether each trap to the Manabloom seed, letting the spell maintain itself using the Manabloom's Mana. This would be odd, because Illusionary Trap doesn't normally have a 'maintain this' option, but he uses the Psychoid leaf's illusionistic conceptual relation (along with some modifications to the structure of the spell itself) to make it work. Still, the Manabloom isn't grown yet, so it can't support the full spell; Luckily, there's nothing in the structure of Illusionary Trap requiring it to be of a given shape or size, so the Illusion reduces itself to a tiny spot of dirt above the Manabloom seed, to gradually unfold itself into a new shape as the Bloom grows. As for the final form of the illusion, that's a second thing, and one designed to force any enemies to not just ignore the mostly-illusion constructs if they figure things out. Namely:
JOE retrieves another few items from the inventory, specifically several Shock crystals and two luminous ones. At two points along the line of Illusions, he casts Terraform to make a medium-sized twisting spire of rocks. into sockets on the rock, he places the Shock crystals; into a small hollow in the Rock spire, he pours some manawater- not unlike the mana-charged water of the Raindrop crystals, which he would use if there was more then 2- and at the top he places a Luminous crystal. Using the Manawater as an energy-storage mechanism, the Shock crystals are depended upon as a source of power which, in times of need (determined by magic and monitoring the Noise bar) is poured into the Luminous crystal to form electric lasers. If, when that time comes, the other illusions are of sufficient size, all "lasers"-mostly illusionary- will focus on one or two targets, making the actual laser unclear.

In Summary, JOE uses X manabloom seeds, an equal number of Psychoid leaves, Y shock crystals, and 2 luminous crystals to create a bunch of manabloom-powered illusionary traps and two mildly dangerous electric laser pillars, all indistinguishable from one-another, as defences for the farm.

((I'm assuming the farm battle is over and the farm has been saved based off the doc. If I'm wrong... i dunno. do this for the crystiliary, maybe? or just not at all? more defences for the house? whatever.))
((Well, the Farm is... sort of... saved. I guess I still do this. Next turn, I guess I'll get to repairing.))
A last, mostly minor note: seeing the several captured rebels, including ones with mortars, JOE takes the opportunity to remove their weaponry from their persons so the ashstormers don't, say, turn around and cave in the farm the rest of the way, Aye? He doesn't do much else with regards to them, and displays a single-minded focus regarding the farm.
It occurs to anyone who actually still remembers how he acted before I left the game that this might be unusual, I think.
(I don't actually remember how single-minded a focus I displayed, so. maybe this is all perfectly in-character?)

Echoss chuckles
"I think they would be a bit suspicious of it, but perhaps doing something nice for them when we can would be good."
pause, Chloe continues
"Ah yes.... I haven't actually been here for dinner any of the days. I was locked out by the time desync yesterday, and hadn't made my way through the thymefield before that."
Echoss pauses, as if thinking or talking with someone somewhere else.
"Oh dear, it looks like the farm is about to be under attack, I should probably go help deal with that."

In the house
"Thank you Miss Elem."
The golems grab more refined wood and path up more holes in the wall. The work would be a lot faster if there were more than 2 golems right here, but I guess Echoss is finally pacing himself.

Meanwhile... Echoss is captured. Probably. He seems very unperturbed by the whole thing actually.
"Crystal.
My name is Echoss Ravenstar, and I am a newer member within the ranks of the Spherebreakers. Though there isn't much of a hierarchy, we're much closer to an adventuring party than an actual army or organization, so I'm afraid I cannot give you a rank that does not exist.
"

Unbeknownst to the Rebels holding Echoss in the Duneyrr, he is still quite capable of doing things elsewhere. While his butterflies are currently avoiding the area of Zone 1 to avoid giving himself away, the golems back at the house will continue to be active.
the picnic with Chloe will conclude Echoss's main body doing stuff other than being captured however.

Finally, the Sleuth's first commission is to do the research on The Shackled (Rose Cult).

It's Eris time.

~~

Toast finally decides to get real about amputating herself. She sits up as she and her partner's movie finishes, and looks seriously at Marron.

"Weird timing, I know, but... I think I'm ready to try and get rid of this thing, if you are."

She nods at her crystal arm.

"Can you help me?"

~~

Meanwhile, Nettle returns from non-canon op jail. In order to acquire the things she needs to respec properly, she goes to Marron to request the crafting of the Singing Ring.

NETTLE: You make things for people, don't you? How much to make this?

She doesn't equip it just yet, though.

Mariaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Maria's first reaction upon looking at the Sleuth, even with Venia and others nearby, is to immediately bolt and hide under the table. "Scary fiend can't see me if I can't see the scary fiend!"

"Maria it's OK! It's OK!" Venia says. "He's here to give you an apology for being so mean before, he couldn't help it."

"... That doesn't make no sense, Venny!" Maria says, under the table.

"Oh, it makes plenty of sense, you're just bein' a scaredy cat," Venia says, in a mildly teasing voice.

"I don't wanna be hurtied anymore, Venny!" Maria says.

"It's OK, It's OK, I'll hold you, he won't hurt you!" Venia says.

Venia squats and scoops up Maria from under the table, who's looking at the Sleuth cautiously.

Basscaper

"Something feels fishy about this..."

Venia examines the rooms in clockwise formation-so she'd be checking out what would be the Infernal deathtrap of a barracks in the real world next. As she does so she keeps a meticulous note on locations and entities-namely how Bass looked, his apparently not-tree related last name, and anything else.

The Rosen Catacombs

Venia's fall fails to have her collide with anything mid-drop and instead just slam into the pillow-rubble full force, hard enough for her to splatter! Thankfully instead of gore its water, and Venia reforms not even seconds later. "... Water doesn't have nerves! I can't feel pain while transformed! That's really han-NIA!"

Venia's eyes go wild as she rushes to Nia's side. "Nia, are you there, can you hear me?! I have some healing potion!" Venia says, pulling out the Yggdrasil Vessel for Nia to sip on to get her back on her feet. Everything else doesn't seem to concern her yet.

At the same time, Mr. Krabs appears at the entrance of the hallway. Instead of falling down, though, Mr. Krab carefully knots together about four of the Feather Rope Coils-you know, from the Gallows? He then pins one end to the ground and tosses the other end into the hallway, forming what is hopefully an effective rope bridge down.

Research!

Venia researches the Ember Core and the Bolt Accelerator with the surplus of samples.

Stat Stuff
Irongutta puts a KP into DEF and a point into HP.

RP: Revelation

Irongutta stands tall, having finished thoroughly crushing every foe in the Labyrinthine Chamber. Whatever the last dying Old Guard was blathering about went in one ear and out the other for the Ork. Instead, what caught his eye was the strange object they left behind.

"Rev..elation? Dunno wot that's all about." Inspecting the object more closely, his initial curiosity gave way to a strange feeling. This object carried an inexplicably ominous presence, or perhaps one of greater importance.

Scratching the back of his head while palming Revelation in his hand, his thoughts directed him to one person in particular.

Elsewhere in the Catacombs, he approached that very individual: Venia Praefortis. "Oi there, Venia. Me an' some of the lads just got done stompin' some of those old cultist gits an', well..."

He presented Revelation to Venia. "Wot do ya make of this thing? I was gonna use it fer scrap at first, but as I looked at it more an' more, I got a real odd gut feelin', you know? Like the kind I get when a Weirdboy with a nasty 'eadache comes 'round. Come to think of it, sorta reminds me of that weird weapon ya use."

RP: The House

Irongutta enters the kitchen, where he spots Maria, Chloe, and Nia by the table. "Wot are you lot up to in 'ere?" His curiosity gets sidetracked by the presence of fresh cookies on the table. He snatches up a conveniently gun-shaped cookie and eats it greedily.

"I see ya opened yer gift, Maria! How are ya likin' yer new toy? I thought even a lil' grot such as yerself could use a bit of dakka, 'specially given the kinda place we've been the past few days." Irongutta munched on the cookie, seeing absolutely no problems with arming children.

((This whole bit of RP is open for Chloe and Nia to react to. I mean come on he gave Maria a gun what's that about?))

In which Venia geeks out hardcore

Venia observes the item, briefly. Her eyes pop open like sunbursts. "Oh, oh my, good observations, let me just..."

Venia grabs the Revelation and inspects it with extreme interest, putting it right up to her face. It did look like her own Entropic Key, when it was in its base form anyways. Time had been unkind to the weapon, rusty and effectively impossible to salvage-and yet-and yet!-

"Yes, yes, yesssss! Yes! This is definitely a breakthrough, god almighty this is something else. This is a really old Entropic Key... No way we can directly restore it, but looking at it, it's form would seriously optimize our own Entropic Keys and get them up to as strong as they could possibly be with our current resources. All these modifications are practically the signs of masterwork, and yet..."

Venia gestures to a point on the upper crossguard of the sword, the most immediately distinguishing feature of the key compared to the kinds currently in use.

"... It's missing this, at least. I don't know what this is, but it's important to regulation somehow, just from observing some of the other present components. Something here, I don't know what, is responsible for managing all the additional power so it doesn't, well, explode in our hands and kill us... I think. it might also be amplifying it by an extensive amount as well as a result of regulation also being handled by it. I think there are a few, uh, other points on the weapon that might also be important, but I'd need more time, there are a few things on it but I can't tell the difference between aesthetic and function."

"Uh, as it is its basically crippled, but my guess is that in its proper form it's probably one of the most dangerous things we could ever hope to possess. I think the schematics for the ones we got were basically modified to not need these additional devices, either, so whatever it is, its probably a hassle to produce. But, oh, the things I could do! The damage we could deal to that stupid pest! If we could replicate it, we'd basically become that thing's worst nightmare brought to life!"

"This is a very important find, Irongutta. I'll be making sure that its used properly. It's not very useful right now, though, unfortunately, but its extremely useful. Thank you! All I'd need now is to figure out what the missing bits are and how to remake them."

Dorothy rushes over to the door to the Central Southern Hallway, and attaches an iron chain to the wall next to the door. She then yeets it down until it hits the pillar.

She then climbs down, and lands on the Netwyrm Head that's spewing Seekers. She doesn't give it a moment before she point-blanks a Zaliska shot at the base of the worm, then uses it to slash at the spot she just shot, aiming to kill it in one go.

MU heads back down the chain, and considers the best strategy for clearing out the nest...

"Nia" winks at Nia, her eyes suddenly swirling with various colors.

"NIA": Oh, don't worry about me. I'm perfectly, perfectly fine!
THE REFLECTOR: i just needed really just needed to get that out of her system, the guilt and identity crisis was simply eating her up you see! no fault of her own, no fault of any of my masks really but what can you do?
THE REFLECTOR: oh, i broke "character", didn't i? very sorry about that, but nia dear was beginning to have an emotional outburst and i was afraid you wouldn't you would not take that very well.
THE REFLECTOR: most people i've interacted with over the many many many years we've been active tend not to don't take it very well when they see themselves breaking down emotional vulnerabilities exposed to the world, regardless of how deep those insecurities really lie or if they're just mere projections or cracks in the mirror!
THE REFLECTOR: anyway i really should be going, no offense to my dear self nia but there's so many exciting very exciting faces to wear and people to be! i hope you have some recommendations.

The Reflector once again smiles their too-sharp, too-wide smile, but this time in Nia's mouth. Nia and any onlookers may begin to understand that while the Reflector genuinely doesn't seem to have malicious intent, the way they see the world is completely alien and occasionally rather off-putting.

Auth thinks quietly as Omo comments on his idea for attempting to heal Acacia...

AUTH: Hm... that may be true. I think it would work, though. The ritual, at least the way it is now, can resurrect the dead. It can heal those beyond the power of normal healing. From my understanding, burning is almost impossible to heal normally - also beyond the power of healing.
AUTH: I don't really know what would happen if we just... did it, on someone that's alive. I'd like to assume it'd be like a powerful healing spell. Although, I can't really be sure. I don't think anyone can be until we try it...

Auth murmurs, looking over the spell scroll.

AUTH: Were you there when she was taken? I can't imagine the fear, the suffering that she's going through right now. When I saw her go... well, she desperately didn't want to and going up was... she looked dejected. I could feel the fear and despair.
AUTH: We're going up to the Skylabs soon, I think... so finding a way to heal her before we get up there would be good, I think.

Auth taps his head... thinking...

AUTH: Think they'd let me into the Legion camp to try treating their burns victims if I transformed into a Chairian?
AUTH: Kidding. Although I'm not sure who might be around that's injured in that way. Have you seen anyone that hurt?

Auth looks up, and gestures towards Marron, who isn't all that far away.

AUTH: Marron's just over there. We could probably ask her now on her opinion. Maybe I could go ask Ette what she thinks too... she was the original target of the resurrection spell.

Auth thinks quietly, as he walks towards Marron.

AUTH: Hey, Marron. Mind if I ask you a question or... like, eleven?
AUTH: You cast the resurrection ritual on Ette, right? I had the idea to modify it in order to heal people who can't be healed normally... like Chairians who've been burned or people who've lost limbs.
AUTH: Any ideas? Since you cast it...

Auth thinks quietly... this is the only thing he's got to do for right now...

As someone wicked, fundamentally, I disagree. One may always repent. I may have done terrible things in the past. That's why I help this coward now.
