"'Ere we go. 'Ere we go. 'Ere we go!" Irongutta repeats his self-hyping chant, obviously getting pumped for the battle no matter the stakes.

He spawns in at D9 and moves to H14. He then uses a self-casting Fury to buff both himself and Venia. Looks like he is readying up for an attack.

uuhhhh I'll just throw +2 points into DEF I guess.

Hex joins the Chamber battle! He spawns at Q9, rushes to M9, then performs a lunge at Her, activating both Cinder Rush and Ember Drive, dealing fire damage and pinging Her.

RP:
Hex enters the chamber on Her's side, and stares at the chaos in front of him. He then shrugs, activates his armor, and dashes over to Her!
HEX: Sorry about this, Nia! I mean, I don't know you very well, but here's to you getting better!
He then lunges forward, impales her on the flaming Helix's Hand, and takes a step back.

Emerald just sort of... stares at the chaos that was Nia, and blinks a couple of times, tossing a point in INT and a point in SPC, then trading out his spell for Toniveil/Glacveil.

He spawns in at E12 and moves over to I12, whistling to himself and tapping Nia on the shoulder, before rolling up some of the ice into a snowball, which he throws at Venia, where it then bursts into a cloud of snow, almost like a shield (Glacveil cast)

==MINOR RESPEC==
Nezira swaps some spells:
Twin Bolts becomes Ice/Psychic, Guiding Hand is swapped for First Aid, and Proximity Burst is swapped for Force Nail.

==BATTLE/RP==
Nezira enters the battle on the right side, notices Chloe, bruised and picking herself up off the floor, and rushes to help her get steadied up again. "Are you okay?" Then, she notices Nia and Her. "...Well, that's a textbook case of possession-induced mental breakdown if I ever saw one. Doesn't usually come with consuming cold, holographic other selves, and such, but suddenly going violently insane and turning against your friends definitely is in the job description. Wow."

She's clearly... kind of affected by the sight of Nia fighting against them, even if she's trying to hide it.

"Nia! I know you're in there somewhere! I know you're not really like this! And I'm sorry, but until you come to your senses... we're going to have to fight!"

She moves to O7 and lets blue light swirl around her as she uses Transcendent Analysis, copying Venia's Force Nail, before pointing the Silverglitch (which Nia once wielded) and firing the copied spell at Nia herself. She also Quick-Scans Nia, applying Weakpoint Analysis. She then retreats to P7.

<ROUND ONE-HUNDRED FORTY-ONE>

Venia... 's hat goes to gather a splinter. It succeeds. Splinter of Yggdrasil's Bark obtained! Now all you need is a bit of Godblossom Extract! Venia also rotates for Zillycharm. Then, elsewhere, Maria attempts to go running off to catch Venia to stop her from fighting! Chaos briefly thinks about bringing out "The Baseball Bat That Induces Sleep", but it occurs to him that the magical artifact may in fact, just be a regular bat. So, he's forced to come up with a proper scheme.

Chaos extends his hand towards Maria. For no reason at all, it catches fire, forcing him to pull out a pocket fire extinguisher and put it out. Venia then does a very long post™, but we'll save that for combat proper.

Destiny rotates Phase Shift to Phial Burst, and changes a resistance. Then, Crya takes a moment to rant. Omo, much like a practiced therapist, jots down a lot of notes as the goddess rants about her pantheon. By the time she's done ranting, Omo has formulated a list of questions.

OMORIKA: ...Ah, you mentioned that Destiny was... built?
OMORIKA: As far as I know, if one is built by man- a mortal professor- then how can one truly be a god?
OMORIKA: ...What is Destiny, anyway?

OMORIKA: In addition, do goddesses usually have mental defects that directly counter their designated title?
OMORIKA: The title of "goddess of justice and sense" does not line up in the slightest with how you have defined Maddison.

OMORIKA: One final note; what is a succubus?
OMORIKA: ...I truly do not know. Is it a thing from your own mythos?
OMORIKA: With the way you describe her though, it does seem like Leyna is at least fitting her role...

With that done, Omo squares away her notepad.

OMORIKA: Your pantheon is certainly... interesting.
OMORIKA: ...And also incredibly dysfunctional.
OMORIKA: So, you gods and goddesses rule over... humans, correct?
OMORIKA: Is a clearly problematic pantheon fit to rule over a group of humans?
OMORIKA: Though the gods may be mighty, their power has the ability to destroy all that they wish to shepherd over, or protect...
OMORIKA: Should something not be done about the strange political situation up there? Appoint a new god or goddess?

OMORIKA: ...I don't know how your system works.
OMORIKA: Given that Destiny was created, it does throw a wrench into my understandings...
OMORIKA: However, I must thank you for the conversation.
OMORIKA: It's always fascinating to hear about another world.

Omo curtseys towards Crya, before bidding her adieu. Unless of course, she wishes to stick around and chat more. Who knows?

Toast edits her special! She then heads up to the Glyph Chamber, Marron trailing behind her. Sensing the tension in the air, Marrow whips out Therma, and loads a bolt.

MARRON: Oh, come on!
MARRON: I was actually hoping we'd be able to take a breather after that fight earlier... but nope, looks like somebody pissed off... whatever's up there!
MARRON: Who's up there, anyway-

Marron peaks up the stairs, and is nearly frozen by Nia's blizzard. She ducks back down the stairs, and is left shivering on a wooden step.

MARRON: S-Stupid skirt!
MARRON: Sure, it's... cute, but does nothing against the cold a-and wind...
MARRON: E-Excuse me while I...

Marron takes this moment to doff her cloak, and equip a small pink parka, complete with fuzzy hood. It's clearly a little too big for her. Somehow, this doesn't hinder or alter her stats in any way. The two then finally properly venture upstairs, ready for combat!

Packo swaps off the Shouting Star, and equips the Chairleg Trident! It's a bit of an awkward looking tool, but it looks like it'll be pretty effective. Mari comments on the trident as she follows him up into battle.

MARI: Huh. Cute... spear? Trident?
MARI: I dunno. Point is, you look kinda funny using a polearm.

The Engie Drone visits the couch outside of the house. He loots the Memory Orb imbedded within it. However, perhaps the couch should be taken indoors? I mean, it's already been ruined by water and memory orb, but perhaps it's worth saving it? Anyway, Verdana then rotates out for some new spells: Hidden Flame, and First Aid!

MARRON: Anyway you... pulled me out of battle?
MARRON: ...Thanks for that, I-I guess...

MARRON: Anyway, I guess Toast is doing magic-stuff today, so I don't really have a reason to buff her...

MARRON: If she gets mad at me though, you're taking the fall. Like, it'll be really tragic, because you'll have accidentally fallen off of Scale Yggdrasil.

<UPHOLSTERED CHAMBER, ROUND TWO>
Looks like The Husk has rejoined the fray! He's quite durable, and packs a sizable punch! He's also capable of mind-controlling summons if you leave them open for attack! Anyway, in other news, Chloe's looking quite injured, so you might want to tend to her. It's also probably worth noting that in time, the map may get hard to navigate in terms of avoiding all of Nia's AoE attacks. Fortunately, you have the HP to tank a few blows if needed, so don't be too worried about that! Just keep on your... incredibly ridiculous DPS!

I guess Simeon will ask Mari some questions

"So, uh, hi, I heard that you were with Pane for the last month? I'm interested in what's he's up to, can you give any information on his operations? Sorry if anyone's asked this already."

Packo moves to I8, using a Fruitcake Square in the process, then uses Life Essence Augment to heal Marron by "attacking" her, while casting Riposte himself.

Meanwhile, Beep and Boop seem to be cheering from the sidelines.

Meanwhile, Packo stays silent, almost expressionless, as he sees the Husk and prepares to attack, sloppily wielding a weapon he is not accustomed to.

Then, he notices how the Trident also seems to be having a button of its own, just like his own roller. He decides to press it. The trident starts glowing green... A green tone that he's very familiar with.

As such, he aims at Marron, instead of the Husk, and hits her, healing her. Marron notices a feeling similar of being hit by a pillow. A very soft pillow.

After the deed is done, Packo doesn't say anything to her, but you can see how he lowers his head slightly, as if he was nodding to her. Thinking about how both fought each other not so long ago, he turns around, as if he didn't just do what he did. Instead, he looks at the Husk and points the trident forward, pointing at it.

Terry shoots Her in the head, then sidesteps to L14. He then looks at the chaos energy coalescing in the air around him. "Are you sure you wanna do this?"

The Man moves to G13 and shoots at the Chair Glyph. Or, the fleshy bits holding the Chair Glyph in place, at least.

Flux Man moves to I17 and shoots Nia. In the face. With a gun.

RP: Upholstered Chamber

The world's moving too fast. Attacks fly by Venia's head, too far to hurt but too close for comfort, as she struggles to hear if Nia's said anything more. "NIA! Yes, it's me, Venia, stay with me, we'll fight this thing together! I, I'm, I'll-!"

Venia's sucked into the ocean of torment that Her comes from, nearly suffocating as she descends. She almost praises god as she is flung up from the cold depths, only to see Nia surrounded by a distortion-made copy of the wings of the Butterfly-

She's airborn, dancing over death as Nia's attack whiffs her entirely. Electricity pools in the room as Nia keeps casting spells and Her keeps relentlessly slaughtering and a noise, a noise-the Husk! They started out very strong but their odds were rapidly thinning every second.

"NIA! I, I, I don't hate you for this! I-If our roles were reversed I'd be, be thralled for sure!" Venia shouts. "I, you're NOT worthless! You're NOT nothing! You're the person who's helped everyone, who's fought harder than everyone! I understand why you feel this way-I've considered it, seriously considered it! But you know what? You deserve better than this! Why shouldn't I help you? You saved my life-so I'll fight to the death to save yours!"

RP: Maria

Maria doesn't even hear Chaos's offer from the sheer fury of her temper-tantrum. "VENIA'S GONNA DIE AGAIN! VENNY'S GONNA DIEEEEEEEEEE! LET'S GO! VENNY..."

She pauses her screaming, only to start sobbing on the Kitsune's back instead. "V-Venn-n-n-eeeeehhh..! VEENNY!!" She slides off the Kitsune and just collapses on the floor. The cats cease their assault on the Kitsune and collect around Maria, doing their best to lick her tears, even as the sulphuric stench continues to waft from her general location.



The Kitsune, meanwhile, is completely unfazed. "It appears her highness has accepted your bargain. Do what you must."

Battle: Upholstered Chamber

This turn's gonna be complicated. Here's the actions that definitely need to happen, though, with as much information as possible so there's a minimum of confusion.

1: Nezira moves before literally anyone else to cast Force Nail on Her. If it hits, this will Stun Her due to the Root application, causing Her's Glitchform Iris to fail. Please refer to Crystalcat's post for the details.
2.1: IF Nezira misses, Gaia's Guardian will act immediately after Nezira to perform Shield Crush on Her at I14, hopefully nailing the Stun. If Nezira hit? I guess he'll just take a swing at Her with a fire elemental attack.

1.1: Venia Hat-Pings Nia (for an effective 63 CRT). and activates her Radiant Glove on Nia, which (should) automatically hit for the Stun and Blind. She then moves to L10 and performs Purge, beginning a combo. She wraps up her move with a Fluxblade Scroll on the Husk from her final position, hoping for a crit (effective 63 CRT again).
2.2: Omorika uses Null Somnum on Venia. What else she does or where she moves to do so from is on her, though I recommend she eats Icecream at this time to get a steady flow of MP going for the rounds ahead.
1.2: Venia activates an Emergency Shield Badge. She moves back to O14 and switches to the Silverglitch for a whack at Nia. The total bonus damage? 40% (UT Basic Attack bonus) + 20% (Heroic) + 60% (Empowered) + 20% (Purge) + 40% (Combo boost) + 20% (Crimson Fall + Erroblight). In case you're wondering-from her base of (15-16), that's roughly (45-48) after all bonuses (assuming I've done it right) plus 3 from the Armorbreak, and that's disregarding the effective 71 CRT she has. All this off a mage weapon. Hat pings Nia again (effective 63 CRT). She retreats to P13 to dodge the incoming Iris. Or, one of them. It'd take some seriously bad luck to have both fire off.

Also related, because people may read my post: Verdana, target of what should be the only Glitchform: Iris use this round, is going to be at J11. This means everything in Range 1-2 of that and a map-encompassing Wide Laser East and West from that point is basically going to be a kill zone, so try not to stand close to there.

Because Venia's going all protagonist here and she's got a lot of buffs on this attack, it clearly needs flavor text. After Venia prepares her wicked-nasty combo, Venia points the tendril that better replicates the Silverglitch at Nia's body, a relatively poor weapon amplified by profound amounts of raw corruption to the point of excessive lethality-which seemed to be shaped into a spearpoint at the tip, or perhaps a drill. Venia's whole body shudders, readying a long incantation.

"BY THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE VOID UPON WHICH ALL IS BUILT AND THE FOUR POWERS THAT LAY WITHIN THEM, I ASK FOR CLARITY!" Venia yells, a yellow magical square appearing around the tip of Venia's staff-turned-spear, followed by several more squares interlocking with the largest one. At the square's tips, there are four particular colored squares-one a dull gold, one a dull purple, one a dull azure, and one a dull black. "BY THE THREE TENETS OF REALITY UPON WHICH ALL IS KNOWN AND THEIR INTERSECTIONS, I ASK FOR PURITY!" Venia screams, a large triangle appearing within the square, this one made of orchid, with three far smaller triangles at the tips-one yellow, one magenta, and one cyan. "BY THE TWIN SERPENTS UPON WHOSE BACKS ALL OF THIS WORLD PLAYS OUT, AND THEIR MANIFOLD MANIFESTATIONS, I ASK FOR DECISIVENESS!" Venia says, as the image of Gemini (apparently) appears within the triangle, one side orange and the other blue. "BY THE SOLE EARTH UPON WHICH ALL IS WRITTEN, AND THE UNSEEN WRITERS WHO MAKE THIS SO, I ASK FOR DETERMINATION!" Venia intones, as a small circle, almost imperceptibly small, appears at the very tip of the spear-or is it there at all? Quite hard to say. Feels more like the absence of something than the presence, though.

"BY THE NEGATIVE SCAR OF REBELLION UPON WHOM ALL THIS WORLD HAS BEEN TORN, AND THEIR MANIFOLD MANIPULATORS THAT STAIN AND VIOLATE THIS REALITY YET, I ASK FOR POWER!"

Venia's 'spear' abruptly reconfigures itself, its glitched corruption temporarily reforming the entire weapon into a sleek trident as red as the Chaos Butterfly itself. In other words-the dread sigil of the Psi-Godmodder. The Butterflies may or may not be silently pissed at this appropriation of its master's symbol to stab it in the face with. Venia exploits Turn-based rules to make a bit of exposition a Free Action.

"... Reality Magic! Don't say I didn't try to figure out a cure to the cancer before now. Trust me-if I had any ability to really manipulate any of those things I supposedly called upon, I wouldn't be doing this! At best, the residual essence from their reality-spanning effects, but it'll still hurt like hell!" the eldritch spider-of-spiders says. For her relatively intimidating body, she still shakes with terror. "... I'm, I'm, I'm so sorry! Please, please forgive me!"

Venia lunges for Nia's face at this time. As Nia having DGE at this moment would be a sign of utter calamity, it can be safely assumed that Nia's head remains stationary enough to be cleanly impaled straight through. A second later, the red trident burns white, and the whole thing explodes in a corruption-induced blast.

Bugfixes

-Nia's HP-to-SP ratio is somewhat off. AT 2K HP, Nia/Her would get full special when they hit 1.2K HP, and thus at their slightly-above 1.2K HP they have right now they should have 175 of 200 SP. Either they haven't healed enough HP when they got raised to 2K, or you've missed 25 SP.
-Venia'a Biohazard blade damage is slightly off; Venia didn't break shield with it (14 + 24 = 38), so Nia should have +3 more HP.
-The STR scaling on The Man's How To Barrel Roll trinket hasn't been updated. (Should be (8-9) instead of (6-7))
-Her's SHP has already been depleated this round.
-Irongutta's Heroism hasn't ticked down while Venia's and Verdana's have.
-Ziah's, Irongutta's and Marron's Fury have not ticked down. If we're still doing 'kind' statuses, then only Ziah's is incorrect as his status is still at 3 duration when he already Astra'd.
-Nia and Her's CAV are listed as having a base of 19 in the notes and 27 on the cell itself.
-Chloe's Valhalla Echo did not stack up. For 1 attack and 1 counter, it should be at 2/5. If spells don't count, 1/5.
-The Husk's AI is listed as "<0>" in the Codex Monstrum but is labeled as "???" in his statblock this battle.
-Chloe's still upstairs in Zone 0 despite everyone else vanishing for the Zone 3 battle.
-Chloe's Harvest forms and Nia's upgrade queries in NPC services have not been emptied.
-Marron's Plushie collection on the bottom of the Temmie Shop has not been updated. (Packo, Chloe, Venia, Wyvern and Hex plushies are among the late newcomers, among with possibly others.)

Calibri is visibly bored. And has nothing to do.

He soon warps to the base of yggdrasil, namely into the room which currently says it contained Omo, Tae, and Mari. There's silence from him for a moment...

"Anything going on down here right now? I'd be dealing with the situation in the upholstered chamber, but... I can't really go in there right now. Thymefield won't let me do that."


EN is also visibly bored, but has something to do. Namely, watch Bass ride the elevator.

"...It really tha' fun fer ya?"


Meanwhile, the Engie drone back at the house glances in through the front door, noticing Maria being very loud, and continues to want to have nothing to do with it. As such, he focuses very hard on what to do with the couch.

"...Hmm..."

The intense stare of his thoughtful gaze is somehow strong enough that it has something of a hairdryer-like effect. Which is to say, it is useful for drying the couch, which is wet. A dry couch would make a much better device to modify...


Battle stuff:

"...Oh dear. He's here..."

Verdana glances at the Husk, evidently a little annoyed by that thing being present, then turns his attention back to other things. Namely, Chloe and her injured state. He shuffles over to J11, concentrating for a moment... She'd then feel like she can go places again, as he just removed the Root that was applied to her.

"You should probably have a potion or food! Cali would get upset if he heard you got badly hurt. Maybe you could use one of the remedies? They look nice."

He then turns to the Glyph. Once the Glyph is available and free for use since other people will be dealing damage to take it down, he moves to grab hold of it, smirking faintly as he turns his attention to the Husk...

"As for YOU... You should really just turn around and go away!"

He then >use CH GLYPH on HUSK, his smirk turning into a full-on dangerous grin as the glyph powers up and goes off, however that looks. He may or may not be inclined to add some really flashy lightshow-style visual effects to the use of the CH Glyph.

"WelL thIs Is a ratHer oDd Sensation." Emerald remarked, voice buzzing and glitching slightly with his status, before glancing to Chloe, stabbing his umbrella into the ground and giving a warning gaze at Her, then humming softly and casually placing a hand on Chloe's near shoulder, casting Lyonne, then yawning, and picking his umbrella back up to guard himself from Her.
[aka, he stands still and casts Lyonne on Her. Whee, SP from healing...]

Nidra sets the resistance on her Patch of Focus to Crushing.

Nidra plays Perseverance, moves to Q18, Power Naps Boshi, casts Static Overcharge on Nia, and retreats to Q19.

The Insanity

The Ambusher stealths to P9 away from the Husk, best not risk conversion...
The Ambusher raises his rifle and fires a shot at Nia.

Brutishace prays to the Helix Totem- not like the power he'd get from tea, but still good nonetheless, and perhaps even better.

He moves over to L9 and fires Twin Jolts at Her before moving again to L8, hopefully out of attack range.

He feels a tinge wrong when Chloe rebukes him- but he wonders if he's gone too far.

Auth seems slightly upset as Nia manages to disrupt his Divine Shield and almost stop him moving. He seems more upset about having to fight another ally, as he retreats to Q13. He doesn't have much to say to anyone else, but he looks upset as he pulls his hat over his eyes to hide his face.

It doesn't stop him, naturally, from pointing at the Wall of Flesh protecting the Chair Glyph, and casting a great barrage of light on it. He uses Liberation, tearing the wall apart for Verdana to grab the Glyph. Any overkill healing goes to Mari.

"HWAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Hey, someone's falling from the sky! They've got a cell phone, a giant hammer, and an... IS THAT AN ANVIL????

King, aka Toonado, is falling from the sky! He'll land on space 3D.

(I'm a Player Character, if it wasn't clear. I'm currently drafting the character sheet for myself. I'm new, so if anyone could help me learn the ropes and has a lot of tolerance for n00bishness, I'd appreciate the help.)

(P.S. I'm going for a "cartoon" theme, so if anyone has ideas for stat configuration that would be helpful)

Lusiarre frowns as everyone else around them seems to get colder, yet she doesn't seem to be feeling anything. Before she has time to contemplate however, as a blade of Ice flies right towards her, narrowly missing her. She sighs in relief, oblivious to the incoming laser until it's too late, striking her and causing her to yell out in pain.

As the battle continues around her, Lusiarre tries her best to focus on the task at hand, ignoring her injury. She sends her Voodoo Spellbearer forth to duplicate itself and attack one of her foes, when she gets a headache.

It's cold here, how nice... a voice in her head states, and Lusiarre quickly shakes her head, ignoring it. She had other things to deal with, but the voice did give her an idea.

She had other things she could count on beyond her dolls, after all. Scratching a pattern into the ground, she mutters some words in an arcane language. The pattern illuminates, and a winged, skeletal creature rises. Lusiarre nods in approval.

So you haven't forgotten me yet...

Spellbearer does what Spellbearers traditionally don't do; they go for the attack! It moves to L16, Duplicates itself to M16, and both Lunge at Nia, moving to L15 and M15 respectively and attacking Nia.
