Lusiarre nods as her Voodoo Doll seems raring to go, but she's not quite ready yet herself. Taking out another stake, she begins carving characters into this one too, before jabbing it into the Doll's back. Again the stake is absorbed, and the spell carved into it is infused within the doll as she sets it on it's path towards the enemy…

Before it can get going, however, something happens to the doll, and suddenly there are two identical dolls, one up on the roots nearby. It marches North, then, unless it finds an enemy, conceals itself in a bush.

The original doll, meanwhile, marches south, then lunges at a foe in sight.

Might as well just give 'em to people who I know would enjoy the idea of making their hair shine like a literal galaxy. I'll just-"

The hand holding the hat 'slides' into nowhere, and Nia hears the sound of rustling in her backpack as Venia's hand retreats, free.

"-put it in your backpack for you, so you can pull it out later as, you know, busy. It's rather durable and self-repairs, by the way, so don't worry about breaking it. Might need a bit of tinkering later to get the anti-theft protections up and working for you, too."

"She isn't noticing her possessions. She doesn't realize its hijacking her speech again. She only nodded when I say she was about to get possessed and not to worry... Did the Butterfly plan for this? Was it just spur-of-the-moment or did it think of this from the start? Did I do anything good for her at all? It doesn't look like it. I'm not sure which is worse. Either way, the Husk is almost certainly waiting, so I guess even if Nia was in perfect mental health the Husk'll change that lightning quick... So, nothing to be done but prepare for the worst. Brace myself. Nia needs it."

Venia quickly calls up Omorika via a simple use of team communicators. There's only so many ways people keep this coordinated, after all. She's still got Ordo. "Omorika! First, thanks again for, uh, being there for me and listening to me vent. And don't consider anything of what I said private, I want the others to know. Uh, but that's not why I called-I need to know how we'd extract a Yggdrasil Bark Splinter from Scale Yggdrasil, for the Body Creation Scroll. As we're in Yggdrasil right now, can't we just, tear off a tiny bit of the right wall or is there a procedure to follow to make it as potent as the proper Yggdrasil?"

Hersilia, also the Projector

"We've only met just today, so I'm not surprised you don't remember my name. I'm afraid the line could be tapped, so I'd rather not reveal my identity, but... I would be the one who gave Acacia a magical tome today. If you still can't recall, I'll be attempting to reconvene with you, conveniently enough, in one or two days. Probably when Acacia's about to recover, or such," Venia says, hoping Hersilia recalls Venia without actually outright saying who it is.

"I don't have anything else to report right now, other than that there is a third Eliti in the Royal Gardens... Some odd creature living in a 'rainbow mountain,' its like a stack of colored loops with a hole. Its generating a lot of Thyme Matter and Slumberer-type Iti. The Outsiders appear to not want to fight it at this moment in time, though. Oh-and this particular group of Outsiders has taken to calling themselves the Spherebreakers, apparently. Not very subtle, are they?"

As she says this, Venia (at the Altar Garden) levitates up the cubical projector, revealing the bottom button. She then manipulates the cube's buttons to enter in A-C-A-C-I-A, then presses the bottom 'submit' button, and inspects the results.

"Now, Cypress, are you really helping her? Was your enthusiasm for R4 more than just gushing over its capabilities? You seemed so... Satisfied with its existence. Perhaps that is your pride as its creator? I won't blame you for that, though... Let's see if you're really helping."

Venia uses the relic coupon to purchase Zillycharm from the Temmie Shop, beginning the terrible unravelling of the fabric of sanity and reality as we know it and unleashing a forbidden evil across all things. Or something else entirely, really, its all rather vague actually. But we know for certain this much: things are about to get a whole lot more Z i L l Y

She also shills 500 Credits and 2 Triangle Coupons total, getting each of our NPC allies an Aspect of Stars, and giving Nana an Aspect of Blades-translating to T3 magic for all allies and T3 attack for Nana.

Battle: The Elevator

Small thing for this round:
-Nia leaps to I14 and Phase Shifts with her Crimson Scale, then does whatever Nia feels like doing to contribute. Slap a hailstorm down a corridor?
-Terry moves the scale to N15 before this action.

Venia makes a small jump to P13, clutching the platform. Her hat tactically pings away Archer1's Divine Shield before Venia completes her move to N12. She then uses Skeletal Toss on the Crimson Scale and chucks it over to S10, right on top of the Archer's head. Venia then gestures to Auth above her to act to give the Archer some Guardian (unless his Divine Shield failed to pop due to a lucky dodge)

"Archer, brace yourself! We may wound you, but we shall go no furt-" Venia cuts herself off as another episode of blurring occurs. It feels like its been a while since the last one. Definitely not my forgetfulness kicking in, no siree. She wards it off rather fast this time and keeps standing, just opting to vaugely nod in the Archer's direction afterwards.

<VS MARRON 2.0, ROUND SIX>
Okay, spicy round despite the GM thinking it'd be boring. Lots of bombs detonated today; Marron triggered two of her own volition, and Chloe detonated two with a clone of hers. Anyway, Toast has been Taunted, and odds are, this won't end well for her, between Chloe's Nothing Ventured, Packo's inability to do much due to needing to work with Ette, and Marron's... presence. Sure.

Nidra casts a Psycho Link from Gaiawall3 to Rooted2.

Elsewhere, a stuffed koala grabs some stone brick blocks and heads toward the front of the house. It puts on a tiny little hardhat and projects some psycho-solid scaffolding around the build site. Instead of psychically moving the bricks into place however, the stuffed koala takes out some tiny tools and gets to work building it by hand. Thankfully, it moves much faster than a stuffed animal rightfully should (not that stuffed animals move at all, at least not when you can see). The remaining door is quickly taken off the hinges, and a wall built on both sides of the entrance. The koala instead reinstalls the door in the center, opening outwards.

Arisa yeets the following:
- an Aurora-Baked Potato into her nutrient intake slot
- herself to U17
- a basic attack into the Sniper's face
- the Watcher who just attacked her upward via V12 to U11, using PushedAround2 from her counter

It appears that Calibri has teleported over to the duel to watch what's going on there now. If one bothers checking his eyes, they'd see a sped-up variant of the fight flashing through his vision, getting the important scenes he wasn't present to watch, then once the sped-up fight has synced with the current fight he just chuckles and relaxes, the shine in his eyes reverting to normal.

"Well, this is a nice scene to watch. Heh."


Elsewhere, Verdana is still flying with Gibbet for the time being. It occurs to him, perhaps as an idea implanted in his mind from another source or perhaps just by coincidence, that now might be the best opportunity to try and train Gibbet to do some more fancy things. But what to start with...

"...Hmm... Oh!"

He snaps his fingers, then brings himself to a halt and turns his attention to Gibbet.

"I've had a thought. While we're out here, now would probably be a good time to see what you can do. Not just with flight, but with other things. You've probably got some level of elemental affinity in you due to having eaten... a few different things, come to think of it. I'm curious, what do you think you could do with it? A bit of spellcasting, maybe? Or something else?"


Elsewhere, over at the tree, EN just chuckles as Mari mentions something about metal and flesh. It's probably best not to ask what she finds funny about that... Not here and not now, at least. In fact, the fact EN's just kept her humor to herself as opposed to sharing it is probably a remarkable level of restraint on her part. Thankfully, questioning the cake takes her attention there instead.

Meanwhile in the underground, the Engie drone appears baffled by the lack of mage robes, but then turns his attention to more pressing matters, namely the unknown areas of the underground. Also, flowers.

"Tiny green flowers. You'd think it makes no evolutionary sense for flowers to choose to be green, especially down here where there's absolutely no reason to have high concentrations of chlorophyll anyway, but this is a planet made of wood that is somehow not made of wood, so I think we're a bit past full reasoning here. There's probably a science to it... Or I could just ignore all of that and see what the people back at the surface make of them. Leave the clusters for now, though, otherwise I might lose them down here if something happens. That'd just be disappointing."

He carefully and painstakingly harvests the green flowers with a pair of tweezers and a microscope, then once he's done he wanders off to investigate more of the area nearby. Namely, the area to the right of the subzone he's in.

"...I think I remember seeing a route leading down here that was behind the seekers. Hopefully I can reach it from the underside. I could give 'em the old Bob Ross Painting Ninja routine. Or maybe I could narrate my own actions, kind of like comic Doomguy or the protagonist of a budget horror game with self-done voice acting that gets a bunch of youtubers to make a bunch of clickbaity videos about it. If my memory of the timeline is correct, it's still 2012 right now for some reason, or close to that time, so Five Nights At Freddy's hasn't happened yet. Although I'm from the future enough so that I've seen it. Granted, what I described probably fits Bendy And The Ink Machine better, but you know how it is. Funny how timelines work. It occurs to me that this scene might be a bit dialogue-heavy and weird once the Thymium anime comes out. Remind me to let the script writers know to cut down on the sentences a little."

Auth takes a few minutes to consider Mari's statements. In the meantime...

uA: Considering what you've told me, I would be inclined to believe that statement is without exaggeration. Prison slop isn't particularly nice, is it?

Auth makes a mental note to cook something decent later for Mari. He'll do it himself since many other people around here are dangerously bad at cooking. He knows that he can only trust his own hands for this.

uA: That sounds like an accurate description of what we're here for, yes. I feel it necessary to restate that, while I can heal many wounds, I cannot revive most Chairians when they're deceased, so we wish to avoid that as much as possible... otherwise, no fire, but go nuts.

Having said it twice, Auth deems that statement to be very important. With the next two Auth just nods along.

uA: The full story is much more depressing than that, so I'm just going to leave that be and let you go mad with curiosity, because I'm not going to bring it up again.

A slightly devious smile at that. A curious mind would be absolutely driven to know once they've been told they can't know something.

uA: The thing is, I'm pretty sure the cake doesn't give you a disease, it just cuts out your throat or something. It's luck of the draw.

Auth bows as he's thanked by Mari.

Auth listens to EN explain... and physically flinches as the Atrocity is pulled out of the inventory.

uA: Put that thing away! Yes, Mama, you are definitely banned from not only the kitchen, but anything that could be considered a cooking apparatus indefinitely. I remember that terrible birthday cake you and Alicia made in February, I remember that time you burned the kitchen down making cornflakes. For the safety of everyone involved, you are not allowed near anything to do with cooking.

<ROUND ONE-HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FOUR>
Nezira accepts an exchange of phone numbers with Chloe! Chloe pulls out the same notepad she used at Magic Club, scribbles her number upon it, rips out the page, and hands it to Nezira. There's a tiny doodle of Chloe's face accompanying it off to the corner, in a chibi-esque style.

CHLOE: Here you go!
CHLOE: If you don't have a phone... I'm pretty certain we could make you one!
CHLOE: Or alternatively, you could use my phone as a base, and copy it? I mean, the screen's cracked pretty badly, but it's still pretty good!

CHLOE: ...It, uh, broke when I first arrived here. Got attacked by Iti, dropped my bag in a hurry, must've thrown it pretty hard or something...
CHLOE: Should've kept it in my pocket, like most people...

Venia does things™. First off, she offers to just sorta give the hair-dying thing to Nia. She slots it into Nia's backpack, and once again, Nia's mood takes another 180-degree shift.

NIA: Oh, I can just sorta have it?
NIA: Awesome! Oh man, maybe I'll try like... cyan, that fades into like, stars, or something really cool like several worlds ablaze, screaming as...
NIA: ...
NIA: ...What were we doing, again?

She takes a moment to ponder it, then just sorta blindly smiles at Venia.

NIA: Thanks!

Elsewhere (or in the same place), Venia PM's Omorika via team communications. First, there's the usual sort of thanks... then a question; how could she harvest a splinter from Scale Yggdrasil?

OMORIKA: It was not a problem, miss Venia.
OMORIKA: I would be happy to lend my shoulder to you again, should you request it.

OMORIKA: Anyway, about the splinter...
OMORIKA: I assume you're referring to the ritual ingredients, yes?
OMORIKA: While technically, every splinter here is part of Yggdrasil, if you want something more pure, I would suggest something close to the core of Yggdrasil.
OMORIKA: Now that you're inside Yggdrasil itself... you're probably best off plucking something from the top of Yggdrasil, near its center, near the shrine where the Rune rests.

OMORIKA: ...Oh, miss Praefortis. Have I mentioned the shrine near the top of Yggdrasil?
OMORIKA: It's quite similar to the one located below my library.
OMORIKA: I believe we actually moved the shrine from its original location, to the top of Yggdrasil.
OMORIKA: While it seems like a daunting task, Woodmancy does ease over many of a builder's woes. The Tabletopians could only wish for as adept woodmancy as us- it'd certainly speed up their construction time, that's for certain.

Venia also chats with Hersilia more, not disclosing her name. She notes her intentions to reconvene with her at the Skylabs. She gasps.

HERSILIA: Wait, you're coming here!?
HERSILIA: W-We've already been putting up with Iti and that boy, and Spark certainly wouldn't be happy about you coming here...
HERSILIA: ...Oh geez.

HERSILIA: I... I have this feeling we're going to meet as enemies soon.
HERSILIA: S-Sorry, but I-I can't...

Radio silence. Odds are, Hersilia will hang up next round, if not properly convinced or whatever. She then types in "ACACIA" into that weird box at the Altar Gardens. The viewpane above it is suddenly filled with a big red "X". So much for that plan.

Venia then lobs a relic coupon at Zillycharm, adding the spell to Character Creation! She also spends 500 Credits and 2 Triangle Coupons to grab 3 Aspect of Stars, and an Aspect of Blades! These are given out to all the NPC allies, with the Essence of Blades going to Nana. These are instantly applied to them in battle, due to them not going up for sale earlier.

Verdana tries to see if Gibbet can do anything special. The bird stares at him as he stops in midair, flying around him in circles. It blinks at him curiously. Maybe you'll need to like, help Gibbet unlock their powers first, or something? Or give an example of what it can do?

Elsewhere, EN provides Mari a list of ingredients. She looks at the list.

MARI: ...I'm sorry, but this isn't a cake.
MARI: So, where's the recipe to the cake? I'd think I'm smart enough to identify the difference between the recipe for a bioweapon, and a cake.

While Mari awaits "the real cake recipe", the Engie Drone keeps on exploring the Everground. It first harvests the green flowers from the outcropping of moss below. 23 Everground Flowers obtained! He then moves to the East, revealing the proper section of the Everground's Overgrown Depths. There's trees and stuff!

Auth keeps on chatting up Mari. She nods at Auth's statement about prison food.

MARI: Yeah, it was pretty gorillaing gorilla.
MARI: Definitely cost-efficient, though. I'll give them that.

MARI: Probably... probably better than the cake, though.
MARI: I mean, I'll judge that once I see the actual recipe, though.

...Mari gains +3 Fear of Cooking. Even if she hasn't witnessed the actual cake yet.

You ever just look at a map, and go "wow that's a hot mess"? Well, the map is currently a hot mess. Reinforcements on every side. Fortunately, it'll be awhile before they reach you! Each side is also likely low on reinforcements now, so whatever else that comes in will likely be in lesser amounts.

<THE ELEVATOR, ROUND FOUR>
While the ascent is going pretty well, there's some incoming foes from below! Spiders. Some of them possess ranged spit attacks- be wary of them as you ascend! Given that the platform is constantly moving up, you may require specialized magic to deal with them, or you might want to fight from a lower floor. Either works!

Well. Marron's pretty gorillad. Odds are, Toast could propose a surrender, but maybe she'd like to secure an absolute victory over her former(?) girlfriend? Seriously, though. Toast's trait is pretty busted, and will be instantly deleted after the current battle she's in.

Hex stabs the third Ebarrier, then hurls a Christmas Cookiestar into the barrel, somehow destroying it. Then, he takes a step back to D6.
"Not a very efficient barrier you have there!"

Brutishace holds his ground, downs a Soulblossom Tea and blasts the second Gaiawall with Twin Jolts.

Man, this tea is getting somewhat dull. Brutishace should switch up his recipes a bit! He's sure he has something in the back of his head.

Toast moves to L12 and basic attacks Gaiawall1. She has Vampiric 4 for this attack. She then hops back to M10, where she drops the couch (M10-O10).

The Man goes prone, and then uses his special. He pulls a revolver out of... somewhere, and fires at a random part of Scale Yggdrasil. The shot bounces around for about 2 whole minutes, before hitting the Maw right in the... maw. He then chucks the revolver on the ground. It proceeds to explode in a highly comical fashion.

Destiny backwards-long jumps to G7 and uses Overpowering Strike on the Canonneer.

RP: The Elevator

"She doesn't notice the possession at all. Not even a little. Stupid parasite! If you can hear me-wait, can it hear me? ... Was it predicting this all?"

"Yeah, that's totally doable! And no problem!" Venia says. "Uh, anything else you want to talk about?" Venia asks.

"She wants to talk about how much of a monster I am. How wrong I am. How evil I am. How-"

"Howabout you stop assuming what I'm thinking?"

Venia blinks. No, that certainly wasn't Nia speaking there. Not the real deal...

RP: Hersilia

Venia's silent as she ruminates on hersilia's response for a moment. "... Look. We won't be trying to slaughter people. We abstain from murder whenever possible... Barring one outlier and we try to keep her in check." Venia says. Look, just make sure Acacia's OK, alright? We'll get there. And..."

" Should I tell her about my conspiracy theory?... No facts, no backup. I shouldn't."

"... Please, don't worry. We really do intend for the best, you know. We just don't believe the Sphere to be the answer to the Chairian's problems. Or Spark to be in his right mind... Just, don't kill, and don't be killed-that's the best you can strive for, I think."

Venia hangs up. She contemplates the projector, then, wondering, she enters in "ETTE" in the same way she did before and hits the enter button. She wasn't sure of what was going on... Not yet, at any rate. And she didn't want to enter in the most obvious person on her list first.

Battle: The Elevator

Venia takes the Watcher's bullets roughly on the right forearm, making her wince. The first bounces off her energy shield, but the second plunges straight in, making her wince. Venia briefly inspects the wound-bleeding a normal red-before turning to Mari.

"Mari! I believe your drones may be of clever use here in removing these mines."

Mari will act first this round and use her special. She can determine a few things for herself, but she has to move an MX drone to within Range 6 of the Yggrider (bare minimum), and move another drone within range of a mine, then activate Dronestorm to spawn one within range of the other mine. She will then use her drone's attacks on the Yggrider and both remaining mines, then chuck a Cinderfruit at Mine 2 so Terry finishes it off. To finish, she should probably shoot a target like the splinter spiders or the chairians surrounding us... And move her drone off of herself afterwards to benefit someone else with the SHP/HIT up. +7 to SHP/HIT/CRT is very valuable. Perhaps Chloe should get it? Nia? Venia? Most anyone could benefit very well from the boost in durability and general lethality, though perhaps Chloe or Venia would be best off of the immediately available choices.

If the 1st Wooden Mine is still alive due to a low roll on damage, Venia's hat pings it before she moves to P13. Otherwise, the ping is reserved for the Bladedancer once she moves to P10, a safe Range 3 away from the Bladedancer's counter, on her way to P13. Once Venia is at P13, she chews on 3 Sapfilled Cookies, securing Mending8 for 3 rounds and 12 HP. "... Hrm, the sweetness is a bit overwhelming. Too sweet, yeah. But the cookie melts in the mouth, so... Six-point-five out of ten? Anyways, you-"

Venia points at the Watcher.

"... You're pretty good at sharpshooting, shame you picked me as a target. Now, hrm. I believe that its October or about, so that means its the season of Autumn right now. Put another way-"

Venia uses Skeletal Toss! The Watcher's dragged to R16.

"-It's fall time!... My god that was a terrible pun. I can't believe I said that. That's like, dad joke territory."

The Watcher will enjoy an immediate trip to the 'Death' Plane, where it will likely be downed on impact, but not dead.

Meanwhile, as Sp33d is unable to properly post due to life, he's entrusted his move to me. He shall move to J10 as the mine is gone and he can fly, and supplicant Nia with Luxaveil via Preserverance, because Lamentation Lock stacks are important.

The Defense
Oh Informant, what poor timing you have to come onto the battlefield....

Pioneer swiftly moves to E8 and throws some grenades at the Informant bombarding him with electricity (Apply Backwind on Bass then Basic attack Informant) (16 damage min)

The Railgunner trains his gun at the Informant, maximum range... Boom and down goes the Informant (30 damage min)

Moving to H10 and taking the Portal to Q9

The Elevator

A massive bomb explodes... But Packo is luckily unharmed! As the battle goes on, and more blows hit while he counters, the platform keeps rising. Eventually, the entire crew is visible again!

"Oh, greetings!" He says as he looks back for a second.

Then, he gets pushed back by more reinforcements.

"Oh..." Packo realizes that there are too many enemies to deal with. Luckily, the rest of the cast seems to be doing nicely...

"Excuse me, could I just-" Packo moves around, trying to get next to Destiny and Nia, in order to prepare to jump! He presses a button on his weapon, propelling Beep and Boop into the air again.

"Can you do the same thing as last time?"

Packo jumps to G10! And after a Warp Step to E8, Packo is surrounded by enemies again! Except... He's standing right above Cannoneer2.

Packo then promptly whacks Cannoneer2.

"You should go now!" He says to the Bumblebeeps, which are happily directed to the ToniRobe and Brute near him. They start screaming!

Packo then makes sure to retreat back to E7 if that space is free! If it isn't, he doesn't retreat.

The Duel

Toast did... Things. Again. Now that Marron is absolutely terrified, Packo sees this as an opportunity!

Packo moves to D9, standing in perfect range to hit Marron.

And then, seeing both sisters together, he drops his weapon.

"I don't want to fight you anymore..."

"When you fight... You're as scary as Toast. And I don't want you to be on t-the enemy team e-ever again!"

"I am sorry for hitting your partner..." He apologizes, while looking back to the other fallen members of both teams.

"A-And besides... That last shot hurt a little..." He says, rubbing his arm. "If I get hit anymore, it will hurt more and more..." Packo seems to be a bit scared of getting hit by that again.

"..." He then stands still, weapon on the floor, Bumblebeeps retreated into its handle, waiting for an answer from any of the rivaling party members.

Boshi waits for the mine he's standing on to be destroyed, allowing him to fall down to (J13), where he lands gracefully, bending his knees and making sure he completely stops and doesn't fall on his butt, arms outstretched to maintain balance. A small dust cloud forms under his feet as he lands. "(Next time, try shifting your center of mass so that you fall down feet first. Should let you land properly, like I just did,)" Boshi says to Chloe. He then scooters up to (S4). This increments Brew.

The Mountain Goat stays there, looking intimidating as ever in its stature. It guards.

The Boshi Timeclone near the duelling hut, out of view, suddenly feels a sense of dread... the duel is about to end poorly. He can feel it in his bones...

He prepares to run. Whether it's away from or towards the hut remains to be seen...

Though thankfully he doesn't need to, and the sense of dread subsides. So he just dissipates into time itself.

---THE EVERGROUND---

Not willing to let herself get eaten alive, MU goes back to the vault. She considers just going in there, ignoring or shooting at the eye, but that would be stupid and probably get her killed off.

So, instead, she takes a bit of Iron, and fashions it into a polehook of sorts - except there's not really a hook at the end of the pole. Rather, it's more of a ladle shape. She then extends the pole with two more pieces of iron, making 3 used total.

She extends the "hook" into the vault, and attempts to scoop up the Entrophies, a few at a time. That ladle shape comes in handy, here. She then brings the pole back, collecting the Entrophies in a bag to carry back.

She keeps going until either the "hook" breaks or the Entrophies are gone.
