The Man puts 2 skillpoints into STR and 2 into INT.
He then shuffles around his spells a bit, replacing Intimidation with Watchful Eye. -------------------- you look at your forums and sigh

Comet sits at a makeshift worktable, repairing and tinkering with her gear. Suddenly, her eyes glaze over. She mechanically moves to grab stuff from the inventory. First, she grabs a Psycho Barrier, which doesn't really make any sense, yet here we are. She then grabs a variety of crystals. Each of them dissolves into a different orb of light, and each orb begins to float in a ring around her. The orbs begin orbiting, faster and faster. You can't say for sure, but this type of magic seems far beyond her novice abilities. Comet then takes out several storybooks, and quickly ends their lives. Larger, colourless orbs float out of them and join the show. Comet only stares ahead, eyes dead, as the orbs begin orbiting so quickly they form a ring. The light is blinding, yet she doesn't seem to notice. Finally, the ring begins to get smaller and smaller, converging toward the Psycho Barrier she's holding. Without even a bang, the ring anticlimactically disappears into the barrier. She places the barrier down on the table.
Comet then grabs some gold and durasteel, melting them down. She hammers it into the shape of a pocket watch, then grabs a variety of electronics. She seems more conscious for this, yet remains silent and seemingly unaware of her surroundings. She carefully crafts the internal mechanisms of a watch, then sets them inside the empty pocketwatch. Now it's time for the main ingredient. Comet grabs some Zweet fragments, and repeats the trick she did with the crystals, her eyes glazing over once more. These orbs are dimmer, and seem to almost reach out toward her. They once again start to rotate around her, quicker and quicker. It takes longer to form a ring this time, the orbs almost fighting against it, but form a ring they do. The ring then converges on the pocket watch Comet is holding, again slower. Yet, ultimately, they enter the watch with a whimper. She places the pocket watch down on the table near the barrier. Then, Comet grabs the Selfscape Uplink, String Maven's Dress, and Sleepcatcher. She puts all five items in a loose pile. Shockingly, a blue fire suddenly appears around the items. Comet does nothing but watch as all of them burn to ashes, then as the ashes burn to nothing. The fire goes out. Comet seems to finally come to. She blinks. Huh? Her phone buzzes. What? A text? Here? She checks it. ...looks like my ride is here. She looks conflicted, yet looks toward the sky as an object falls into view. It's a dropship. She walks toward it as it lands, but the door opens just before she can reach for it. A body slides out. A young woman. In pajamas. And music is coming from them? Comet jumps, then checks to see if she's breathing. She's fine. More than fine. Comet suddenly feels very fine indeed. She might question it, if she wasn't feeling so fine about it all. She walks into the dropship, and it vanishes into thin air with her inside. The young lady on the ground seems to have been unbothered by any of that business, and is still fast asleep. However, the stuffed koala in her arms struggles out of her grip, then stands up, apparently on guard. Nidra joins the battle! |

After the fight, Simeon sits down next to Taeda.
"So, I'd like your opinion on something," he says. "A few minutes ago, I found out that this sword and shield belonged to Abies." "Stella's told me that she'd like me to stop using it. Here's the thing, though. When we first found this, it was just lying on a weapon rack in that house. I think it was forgotten there. From what I know, Abies was a hero, and he did some sort of sacrifice, is that right?" "I don't want these to just disappear again, but at the same time, I want to honor Omo's wishes." He takes a breath. "I don't know what to do. You know more about this than me, so what do you think should be done?" -------------------- A slight change of pace(Restat) -------------------- |

cA: Lady Chloe! Lady Marron! Art thou both alright? What happened whilst you were in that land of slumber? -------------------- what if you have like 100 DGE and you're standing behind a lamppost
The lamppost takes the hit for you, and dies. does the lamppost just become magnetic Yes. Yes it does. also, overkill damage to the thing won't harm the things hiding behind it so being next to cover terrain can't ever really be worse then not standing next to one "Sir, the man just survived a blast from the Ultimate Cannon. <ROLEPLAY UPDATE>
re: an update for roleplaying. actual update soon! Chloe beckons Toast over to one of the corners of the office- while there’s not really any actual corners due to the office’s spherical shape, it’s far enough from all the drama taking place near the center of the room. CHLOE: Heya, Toaster! Toast waves a quick "I'll be right back" gesture to Marron as she wanders over to Chloe. TOAST: Oh, hey Chlo. What's up? CHLOE: Ah, well… Chloe hushes down to nearly a whisper. At the very least, it’d be hard to hear her from across the room, especially with Stella taking center stage at the moment. CHLOE: It’s about Marron. She probably wouldn’t want me talking about this… CHLOE: B-But, I think it’s really important! Toast raises an eyebrow. TOAST: Huh? TOAST: What is it? TOAST: Did something happen to her while she was… Toast makes a multitude of complicated motions with her hands in an attempt to represent Omo's mindscape. Chloe racks her brain for a moment trying to interpret her motions, before her face lights up. CHLOE: While she was in Lucid’s- or I guess, Omo’s Mindscape? TOAST: Er... yeah! CHLOE: Well… it’s not really something terrible, so you don’t need to fret! CHLOE: Anyway, before Lucid and his Ashen Knight showed up, we had a chance to talk about what happened prior. CHLOE: Lucid put us inside these pretty godawful dreams. I almost got eaten alive in mine- but don’t worry about me! Marron’s was… kinda sad. TOAST: ...Sad? Do you mean, like… scary? CHLOE: In a sense, yes. I thought her dream might’ve been about getting mauled by the undead or whatever… but she told me that instead of anything awful like that, she was alone. CHLOE: She had her friends around her, and then throughout her dream, everyone... vanished. TOAST: Wow, that's… Toast is silent for a moment, taking in what Chloe had told her. Eventually she swallows the lump in her throat and begins speaking again. TOAST: I… TOAST: ...Maybe this it's a bit insensitive for me to ask… TOAST: ...But did she mention me being there? CHLOE: Of course she did! She said that you vanished… before Ette, I believe. CHLOE: But that’s not really my point. Chloe clears her throat. CHLOE: Toast, I have something to ask of you. CHLOE: Please don’t leave Marron alone. Like, ever! CHLOE: I think… I think she really needs you. CHLOE: Sure, while I don’t think we’ll ever get along, her and I… b-but, she needs someone to be by her side! CHLOE: Maybe you could teach her a few tricks, too. Teach her how to make friends with a bunch of people! Then she’ll never need to suffer like that. Toast suddenly jumps in, voice slightly raised. TOAST: I don't know how to do that! Aware of her sudden jump in volume, she dials it back to a low voice. TOAST: I-I have all these tricks and abilities, but… but I don't know how to make friends! TOAST: I-I never learned! CHLOE: D-Didn’t you meet her in the Mindscape? From what I’ve heard, you two became fast friends... TOAST: Well, I… I don't know how I did it. Can I really… teach her something like that…? CHLOE: W-Well, even though we’ve only know each other for a little, Toast, I-I’d consider you a friend! I think you have it in you! TOAST: I… TOAST: ...I'll try. I'll try and help Marron with making friends. TOAST: I really care for her, and if she's afraid of loneliness… I'll make sure that won't happen. CHLOE: … Chloe promptly tosses herself towards Toast, giving her a nice, warm hug. Toast almost jumps back in surprise, instead choosing to place her arms around Chloe in turn. CHLOE: T-Thank you! CHLOE: … CHLOE: I… lost a friend once. I felt so… a-alone… CHLOE: ...I mean sure, I realized later that she’s alive, a robot, and possessed by sentient murder software, but it… to put it lightly, sucked. Living without her sucked. CHLOE: I-I don’t want her to feel that way! Nobody should! CHLOE: T-Take good care of her, o-okay!? TOAST: I… I will. Thanks. Chloe doesn’t say anything as she steps back from Toast, a warm smile on her face saying all that needs to be said. Then, she seems to lighten up a little, a bit of a coy grin appearing on her face… CHLOE: Also… on a less serious note… CHLOE: I... I think she likes you! CHLOE: I heard my… and I don’t really mean he’s my boyfriend, but my ‘boyfriend’- Chloe does the airquote thing with her fingers. CHLOE: ...he talked about how she might be interested in you. CHLOE: I-I mean, I might’ve just dismissed it, if Marron didn’t talk about how she thought you were out of her league… TOAST: She's… interested in me…? CHLOE: ...Kinda reminds me of Nia... CHLOE: … CHLOE: Um… CHLOE: P-Pretend I didn’t say anything! I-I wouldn’t want to jeopardize your f-friendship, o-or anything! CHLOE: Eheheheh... Chloe’s all red in the face, her cheeks aglow. Toast's share the hue, as she scratches the back of her head, embarrassed. TOAST: O-of course! I-I wouldn't want that, no! TOAST: Her and me- um, she and her- no- TOAST: We! W-w-we couldn't j-just... Chloe giggles, laughing into her hand. Toast's eyes don't meet Chloe's, instead taking particular interest in the glass shards around her feet. CHLOE: It’s alright, you don’t need to explain anything to me~ CHLOE: I wouldn’t judge either way, so… Chloe smiles at Toast, before her eyes drift to the hatch in the ground. CHLOE: A-Anyway, it’s been nice talking with you! I really wanna see what the Glyphs that Venia talked about look like… CHLOE: Don’t forget to stay by her, alright? TOAST: Y-yeah… thanks. TOAST: I'll… catch you later! CHLOE: Alright! I’ll be seeing you, too! Chloe walks off towards the trapdoor and pops it open, before waving goodbye to Toast. Toast waves a goodbye back, still a little flustered. CHLOE: Oh, before I forget- magic lessons! We should do that tomorrow morning! CHLOE: Seeya! And with that, Chloe is down the hatch, out of sight, out of mind. Not too far away from where their conversation happened, Venia sits down by the wounded Omorika, and does her very best to deliver a pep-talk to her. She's mostly silent throughout her talk, seemingly not paying attention to her talk, up until she reaches out her hand to help her up. She giggles weakly, yet there's still a tinge of sadness in her voice. OMORIKA: Handholding is quite... risque in our culture, to say the least. OMORIKA: Granting someone access to the tool that lets you manipulate the world around you is a sign of powerful trust... She reaches out... and doesn't take Venia's hand- rather, she grabs her arm. She pulls herself up, now sitting cross-legged on the ground. OMORIKA: You've... lost someone too? OMORIKA: I... I wish I could help you... She's silent for a long while. OMORIKA: When I charged in, I wish I could just pin the blame for that on Lucid. Unfortunately, it felt to me like it was simply just increasing my natural tendencies. OMORIKA: I believe that it was my own error. If not in mind, then in body- perhaps if I had just left the library and found my own solstice elsewhere, and bore the brunt of the nightmares... maybe Lucid wouldn't have gotten into my head. OMORIKA: I... suppose the time for musing on my mistakes is over, though... OMORIKA: ... OMORIKA: T-Thank you for... w-wanting m-me... She begins to weep again, using Venia as a bit of support. OMORIKA: I-I'm h-happy you want me, d-despite all of my flaws and s-sins... OMORIKA: I-I'll... I'll do my best for you. OMORIKA: ... The Author comes by as well, offering her a fresh cup of coffee. She gulps it down like she hasn't seen a decent drink in weeks. The streaks of sap from her eyes slowly shut off as the coffee works its way through her system, restoring her stamina. She takes a couple of deep breaths, before looking the Author in the eyes. Hers are a deep purple- much like that of the amethysts that adorn her circlet. He then returns her the book, with her giggling at his remark about people never returning books. She listens attentively and quietly while he muses about whether she'll be able to move on or not. OMORIKA: ... OMORIKA: ...I shouldn't... forget...? OMORIKA: I... OMORIKA: You're... right. OMORIKA: I... I can't forget those people. I can't forget him. OMORIKA: W-While maybe the pain won't leave n-now, or even soon... OMORIKA: I'll... I'll try and follow your advice. I've faced it- I fought against it. My nightmares. Lucid. OMORIKA: ... She smiles weakly towards the Author. There's something a little different about her as she pushes herself off of the ground. Her smile is warmer and more genuine than ever. Her eyes even seem to have brightened up a little. OMORIKA: I'll live on. For his sake. Omo's trait levels up! While this might seem like a massive deal (and it is), her trait's gone from Level 0 to Level 1... so there's still room for more growth! In addition, her trait's also completely changed! Plays well into her summoner style, while also giving her breathing room to safely engage her foes at close range. While the two of them surely share a bit of conversation, Venia opts to head down into the now-ajar trapdoor. There's a long, spiraling staircase, and soon Venia finds herself in the Twitchy Rune's chamber. Chloe's standing just to the side of the doorway into the antechamber, spellbound by the presence of the rune. CHLOE: W-Wow! It's... It's magnificent! CHLOE: S-So... s-shiny! CHLOE: C-C'mon! Go grab the thingy! Venia climbs the spirals around the Twitchy Glyph's spire, which is thankfully free of traps. Moments away from the Twitchy Glyph, its etched runes clearly visible to her, almost applies Ga'aunt directly to the Glyph as she lifts the rune into the air above her, celebrating with the classic ITEM GET pose. She quickly apologizes to her glove, which probably looks moderately crazy to Chloe down below. GA'AUNT: Honestly, it's quite pretty, this thing. GA'AUNT: Happy enough to see it up close. GA'AUNT: Anyway... the Old Rose? GA'AUNT: It's a distant memory, and I fear it may not come back to me for some time... GA'AUNT: From what I can see in my memories... the Rose Cult wasn't always this way. GA'AUNT: We had... a purpose. An actual purpose, other than worshiping some destructive deity. GA'AUNT: Was it good? I believe so. Otherwise, why would I have joined them so long ago? GA'AUNT: In addition, I have no memories of such a book. GA'AUNT: I believe that we might've had a scholar in our number who wrote recollections of our work... GA'AUNT: Unfortunately, I cannot remember his face. Or his name. Or if he was even a 'he'. GA'AUNT: ...These memories. GA'AUNT: If I have these memories from back then, I might be far, far older than you know. GA'AUNT: The Rose Cult has been around for quite some time. Only recently has it experienced massive growth. GA'AUNT: Curious. Venia then seizes the Glyph. She expects some sort of ridiculous fanfare or for her to begin floating up into the air, but nothing of the sort happens. The artifact glows powerfully in her hands- and what power it is! She raises it above herself as she holds it in her hand, getting a good look over the item's surface... < TWITCHY GLYPH > 3 Glyphs Remain PLAY - Path Complete (VVVVVV) ...It then unleashes a massive wave of psionic energy! Chloe is overcome with brief, yet powerful confusion. She stumbles around the chamber blindly and smacks into a wall, crumbling to the floor. She quickly comes to, however, apparently not really worse for wear. The confusion's worn off, too! CHLOE: W-Whoa! CHLOE: I'm... I'm not sure what you did, but it's crazy powerful! CHLOE: Best to be careful with it, right? CHLOE: ... CHLOE: Maybe we could make use of that effect... With that, Venia stashes the Glyph in her inventory. Perhaps she could weaponize the Glyph. That'd be interesting. Twitchy Glyph added to inventory! You may use it in combat once per zone as an AoE confuse and mass enemy debuff. And that's all the major bits of roleplaying that I wanted to get down! Soon (next update), you'll be marching back to the house, maybe eat dinner, then head off to sleep! Then it'll be off to the Endless Gardens, and whatever eldritch horrors await there, because god knows the GM loves eldritch horrors! -------------------- |

Brutishace stands in the back of the office, witnesses Auth punching Lucid into oblivion and snarls.
"Oh good, yet another victory for that healer-bomber upstart. He spontaneously went out into the middle of the field to do something flashy but completely impractical? What kind of victory is that supposed to be?" Brutishace tries to get his attention off of Auth and wanders... he quickly notices Omorika, broken and sobbing. He tries to move over and comfort her, but Auth comes to her aid first. Brutishace crosses his arms and walks off with a lethargic huff. "Oh, he's helping you. I'm sure he can do this all by himself. You'll be fine, probably." Brutishace walks off towards the bridge for a moment of quiet and peace. A return to solitude at last. While wandering about his mind, he invests the skill points he's earned: 2 into INT, 1 into SPC, and the last 1 into SKI. His HP/MP numbers are nice and even right now, and he doesn't want his spell to fizzle again. -------------------- |

Suddenly, another anime girl teleports into Zone 1, somewhere near F54. At exactly the same time, Miki-chan's projector reaches critically low battery - Miki promptly digitally legs it the gorilla out of there - and soon enough permanently shuts off.
The new anime girl teleports through the keystone thing portal back to the House. She alters some flavortext, and switches to this build: {here} |

Kokichi spots Omo, and a malicious smile forms on his face. He walks over to her with a suspicious looking cup of coffee.
KO: Heyyy, Stella. Looking full of joy, as always. KO: You want a cup of coffee? KO: I had a couple of sips but other than that, it's good, I promise. There's actually nothing wrong with the coffee, but Kokichi's face is deliberately suggesting otherwise. KO: By the way, congratulations on fighting your own allies, silly. KO: You're pretty lucky you didn't kill one of us, huh? KO: Nobody would've forgiven you. Kokichi talks in a low voice, trying not to let anyone hear him. He then spots a circlet on Omo's head and seems to know what to do. KO: Hey, that's a pretty looking circlet you've got there. KO: Looks kinda cheap to me, but there's probably a reason you're wearing it. Due to Kokichi's extensive research on the NPCs (yes, he does research them individually), Kokichi is able to act on this. KO: Actually... I do know why you're wearing it. KO: That was a gift from your dead boyfriend riight? KO: Abies. This was his gift, right? Kokichi notices Omo becoming uncomfortable and starting to shake. That's his sign that he's starting to go a little to far... he continues. KO: Hey, are you shaking right now? KO: Nee hee hee! You totally are. You are shaking. There's a moment of silence. KO: Such a bummer that he got killed. Must be tough losing a close friend. KO: Maybe not though. You don't seem to care. KO: But you know. If you actually cared about him and listened to what he said, he wouldn't be a pile of ashes right now. Kokichi looks over at Omo for some reaction. KO: "Perhaps we should just try and save whoever we can." KO: That was pretty smart of him. KO: He knew when to give in and cut his losses. KO: But you... Kokichi snickers. KO: You couldn't accept defeat. KO: "I will end you and save everyone?" KO: You weren't even the one to kill him. KO: And you didn't save Abies. His face suddenly goes dark. KO: I can't imagine a death as slow and torturous as his. Being burned alive? That's not a fun way to go, is it Omo? KO: Can you steal hear him screaming, Omorika? KO: "Omo, run!" KO: Nee hee hee. KO: You could've done something Omo. You said you would "save everyone." KO: But you didn't save him, Omo. KO: Your closest friend. You just watched him die. Kokichi sighs, his face returning to normal. KO: You know what else? We've all realised something. KO: And even if the others won't admit it, I'm not afraid to tell the truth for once. KO: You're nothing but a dirty murderer. Kokichi lets this last line linger in the air for longer than it needs to, just to let it sink in. KO: Anyway, it's been a blast, but I've got better things to do. KO: Catch you later! -------------------- "I wish he loved me half as much as he loved you."

Right after Kokichi is done speaking with Omorika, in fact just after his concluding sentence to her, something ominous can be felt standing nearby. Or, more accurately, right behind him. It's Verdana...? Of all the people to feel like doing something about something, Verdana might well be the last person anyone really expects. The expression of sheer disappointment on his face, even less expected than the fact that he's getting involved at all, perhaps. He sighs... and gravity shifts, because the easiest way to ensure someone won't run off is of course to make gravity hold them about half a meter off the ground.
"Now now, young man. That's not a very nice way to speak to a friend." ...Verdana's voice is quiet for once. Something about his voice being that quiet is just eerily so wrong. It's perhaps quite intimidating, if only because it's so unexpected. He takes a silent look around at everyone else present, bidding that they don't interfere, then he returns his focus to Kokichi. "What exactly do you hope to accomplish by speaking like that to her? Maybe you'll scare her with how much you've known without having much to do with her at all. Maybe you'll reopen some old scars that never needed opening... Not very nice things. And not very necessary things, either. Maybe you ought to consider surroundings? I don't know where you're from, but over here, it generally isn't considered very polite to insult people over what I'm quite sure would have been a very traumatic event." Verdana's gaze shifts, and as it does, the field of gravity he's projecting shifts too. It's very possible Kokichi would find himself being dangled over an abyss. "Now, I don't know humans very well, but I'm willing to bet you have some of the same common fears other beings do. Take a look down, right now. A fall from this height would almost certainly be fatal. I'm not sure if it awakens any sort of fear response in you, seeing that, but... I hope it does. It'll help get my point across nicely." Another pause. Verdana sighs, moving Kokichi back to solid safe ground and setting him down surprisingly gently. "What did it feel like, to be on the receiving end of that? Especially knowing it was just so someone could make a point to you? I believe it must have felt quite terrible to you, having to trust that I wouldn't just drop you down that sheer height... No, I'm not the type of person to do that, but that's not something you can count on." Verdana turns and begins walking away. "Reflect on this for a bit - making people feel bad doesn't help them. If you meant to help miss Omorika in some way with the harshness you displayed to her, there's no guarantee it would have done any good - if anything, it could have made her feel worse for no reason, or even actively undone some of the progress of coping with her past traumas. And if all you hoped to do was make her feel bad about herself? I don't know what will happen to you, or who will be involved, but it will be far from good." Where's Calibri in all of this? He's busy. Standing outside. Staring at the sky. Watching a certain dropship leave. Watching Comet leave. There's a pause. He knows she probably can't hear him right now, but he still feels compelled to say... something, at least. "...See ya round, Kassidy. And whatever happens out there, uh... good luck with it. Offer's still on the table, by the by, if you're ever interested..." Beat. "...Ngh... frustrating, being able to talk but unable to hear any reply, or even just know that I'm being heard... Ah well. Sure you'll be fine. Fine as in, be okay, not fine as in... fine woman sense. But, eh, guess you're kinda that too... and now's the part where I hope ya didn't hear that... come to think of it, don't want anyone else to hear that too..." He then pauses. It occurs to him that with her leaving, someone else has arrived. There's a pause. He immediately moves to pull his hoodie up over his face, desperately trying to hide the faint blushing on his face, but also at the same time taking a look at the new arrival to see who it is... "Uh... I'd say morning sleepyhead, but I don't know if it's morning right now. Feels like the day is almost over and all. Heh... But that's beside the point. You might be asleep right now, but I'm fairly confident that doesn't mean you're unaware of things, heh. So, uh. Sup. I'd read your own name to you, but that sounds a bit intrusive, so... Who are ya?" -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. Currently, you follow mine."

With Lucid dead, Irongutta finally starts to feel the adrenaline rush wear off. His heavy breathing eventually settles as he becomes relaxed once again. Wiping some sweat off his brow with the back of his hand, he looked over to the small group centered around Omo. He watched intently as Verdana practically drags Kokichi into the air with some sort of magic or psychic ability. Bah, probably was bein' a troublemakin' git as always. Irongutta thought to himself, furrowing his brow while contemplating what he could've possibly done.
Breaking his attention from the scene, he takes a moment to gather his things, ready for the trip back to the house. --- Irongutta puts 2 skillpoints into STR, 1 into AGI, and 1 into HP. |

<ROUND EIGHTY-EIGHT>
Thymium v1.1.6 is out! Well, mostly- I still need to finish the Incantation rework, but there's a couple of neat changes and some fun new items to look at! Take a look? Anyway, time for the part of the update that always follows a boss fight- SKILLPOINT DISTRIBUTIONS. And crafting. That too. This'll take awhile. Skillpoint Distribution & Crafting Now with all that out of the way, the update proper begins! It begins with Mustache Girl blinking out of existence, who appears some distance away to greet Hat Kid. Boshi meanwhile, talks with Bass. He thanks him for his work, and brings up the whole space marooning thing. BASS: i really didn't do much BASS: i think i killed like, one bird BASS: but eh. i guess it's something BASS: anyway, yeah- venia threatened to space maroon me BASS: she needs to get some manners BASS: for some reason i feel like a bunch of people in your group have been forcibly conscripted BASS: like what else would the cleric or... dunno, the blonde outsider be doing here? BASS: she was conscripted, right? she seems out of place somehow. Boshi brings up something about his siblings. Bass seems interested. BASS: siblings, huh? BASS: ...do i have siblings? BASS: ...I really can't seem to remember. BASS: That's concerning. That's incredibly concerning. BASS: ... BASS: uh, anyway. your siblings. what happened to you? or them, i guess BASS: hope they're alright He waves goodbye as Boshi walks away, helping Stella up onto her saddle. OMORIKA: I'm quite capable of walking... but I don't mind the rest. As he preps for his march, he notes how they're going to her house. OMORIKA: ...My house? OMORIKA: Certainly, unless you've broken into the Citadel and have the gall to house yourself in there, you haven't inhabited my place. OMORIKA: Well, hopefully whoever's home you acquired, they don't mind your intrusion... OMORIKA: Times are tough. I can hardly blame you for doing such acts. Omo returns a hug to Hat Kid as the ride begins, with her now en-route to The House. Daskter meanwhile, begins to go on a scanning rampage. He only manages to scan the first two books because of totally canon reasons and not the GM's fingers generally just hurting, but still. >Codex updated! >Codex updated! Boshi, before leaving, takes a notice in the last of Daskter's books he wants to scan. He quickly runs off to the Collection, Omo still riding side-saddle. The book is somewhat old and tattered. Stella quickly grabs the book once Boshi enters the code, and takes a look at it. OMORIKA: Ah... OMORIKA: This was actually the Tomehammer I had brought to IKEA's dreadnought. OMORIKA: It has... painful memories, but... it wouldn't hurt for you to take it along. OMORIKA: It's not really in shape for fighting... but I can fix that. Stella calls upon a pillar of wood from the ground, which begins to shoot out thin fibers of wood. These fibers enter the book, and the pages seem to slowly untatter, and the spine of the book restores as well. It seems good as new now! OMORIKA: Fair word of warning, this version of the Tomehammer isn't quite suited for bludgeoning. OMORIKA: I didn't feel... quite the urge to bludgeon things back then. However, it might be a more potent tool for the Sages among you... The book is then stashed in the inventory. Restored Tomehammer obtained! Toast then talks with Marron. She asks if the puppeteer is alright after the events within Omo's mindscape. MARRON: Hm? Yeah, I'm alright. MARRON: I mean, I have light magic burns, but other than that, I'm fine. MARRON: I-It's just t-that... i-it showed me a d-dream with a b-bunch of undead, a-and... MARRON: I-It wasn't pleasant! I mean, it didn't get too bad... b-but everything's okay! She takes a few moments to breathe, cheeks lightly aglow. MARRON: But... yeah. Let's head back. MARRON: And yeah- I'm game for whatever you have! The stars should be out soon enough, anyway... MARRON: ... MARRON: A-Any reason for the stars...? She quietly stares at Toast, expectantly. Some time later, she waves down Ette, and the group heads back on over to the house. Simeon then takes a moment to sit down near Taeda, and ask a quick question. He asks about Abies, and what to do with the weapons. TAEDA: Y-Yeah! Abies was an awesome hero! TAEDA: I-It's... tragic how he died, though. B-Burning to death c-can't possibly b-be a good way to go... TAEDA: But... a-at least he died to protect the one he l-loved! TAEDA: Or, I-I think it was love...? I c-can't get a good reading on his relationship with Miss Omo... TAEDA: Anyway, the w-weapons! I mean, f-from what I know of Abies, h-he'd want you to use them! TAEDA: He was seriously kind and chivalrous- I think he'd be honored if you carried them in his stead! TAEDA: He wouldn't be the one to get mad over such a t-thing... b-but maybe you should ask Miss Omo! I-I'm just a cleric, after all, eheheheh... Bergilmir also ends up approaching Chloe (Marron has left, oops), asking her if she's alright while casting Cure on her. Chloe nods, the Cure doing nothing more than brushing off a bit of dirt from her clothing. CHLOE: Yeah, I'm fine! CHLOE: I-I mean, my body back in the mindscape g-got pretty battered, but the damage doesn't seem to have transferred over here. CHLOE: ...S-Scary, thinking about what might've happened if I died in there. W-Would my body just be like an empty husk, or w-would anything even happen...? CHLOE: I'm just glad that I survived all that... CHLOE: As for what happened- we were pulled into Omo's mindscape and everything was on fire! CHLOE: There was this guy, who I think was like a memory of Omo's boyfriend- but it was actually Lucid! We fought it, and then Marron just sorta deleted it with a bunch of needles. Then we woke up, and I don't think we need to piece in the rest! CHLOE: I wouldn't worry about it if I were you~ CHLOE: From what I've seen, you fought pretty bravely too! Thanks for protecting us while we were out, Berg! CHLOE: ...It's really dark now, isn't it...? CHLOE: The stars are coming out, too! CHLOE: I'm gonna get going! See ya! Kokichi then approaches Omo as she leaves the house on yoshiback. He taunts Stella whilst drinking some coffee. She seems mostly unamused as Kokichi spouts slights at her- up until he starts to talk about Abies. She doesn't seem to be shaking, however- she's more miffed than anything. OMORIKA: If this is a botched attempt at verbal abuse, which it is, I should tell you that you pale in comparison to Acacia. Kokichi continues to go on, talking about how it's all her fault for letting him die. Then and there, does she begin to tremble in a sort of fury. Her Tomehammer grows out its handle, but she never swings or attacks. OMORIKA: ...However horrible the implications of your actions here, Kokichi, his death wasn't my fault. OMORIKA: In addition, when one of your co-workers is Lady Acacia, you learn to handle a degree of verbal abuse. OMORIKA: While I still regret my actions from that day... I've come to grips with my mistakes. My a-arrogance. I... c-can't deny that I played a role in his death, but he died for what he believed was right. If I died there- what would be of his sacrifice? OMORIKA: In your eyes, I might be a murderer. But what are you, with your absolute lack of reverence for the dead? For his sacrifice!? Stooping so low, all in an attempt to recite a reaction from me; not even Acacia would do that. OMORIKA: ...Truthfully, I don't know anyone who would do that. OMORIKA: Anyway, may I suggest finding refuge with Miss Elem? I believe she has high enough social skills as to keep those of lesser restraint in our group from attempting your assault. OMORIKA: ...Goodbye, Kokichi. Omo stares at Kokichi wordlessly as she trots away on Boshi's back. Then Verdana runs over, allowing Omo to watch from the distance as he talks with Verdana. OMORIKA: Oop. Not fast enough. ...There's the slightest bit of disappointment in her eyes as Kokichi fails to get punched in the face. She sighs, and returns her attention to the ride ahead. Suddenly, Venia ends up running next to her. The two of them share a talk as the ride drags onward. She theorizes that Lucid might've been guarding the Glyph. OMORIKA: That's... honestly, a possibility. OMORIKA: I'm not sure how much reality there is to your theory, but I don't think it'd be smart to completely dismiss it. OMORIKA: Perhaps it's because the Glyphs allow easy access to the Sphere; without them, the Sphere would be mostly impenetrable. Thick wooden walls, corridors filled with monsters, high-velocity gravity cannon... OMORIKA: The Sphere is fearsome. Perhaps it believes it better that the Glyphs remain apart. OMORIKA: ...Which could raise some complications, because as far as I know, two other Glyphs remain- one in our One-Fifth Scale Replica of Yggdrasil, and one in the Skylabs. Both are rather fortified positions. OMORIKA: ...Curious. I'll likely ponder this tonight... She gets lost in her own thoughts for a moment before realizing that Venia's still there, making conversation. She stutters a little as she continues. OMORIKA: A-As for what Spark might do to me... well, I wouldn't be surprised if he sent the cavalry for me. OMORIKA: I'm worried more for Cypress though, as you've said. Helix knows what'll be happening up there. OMORIKA: His life's already hard enough with that Iti assaulting his position; I believe you scanned it prior. OMORIKA: Electrophorus. Swims through the air, assailing things with electricity. It's a nightmare for someone like him, who relies on technology for combat... OMORIKA: I doubt they'd kill Cypress, however. He's important to our operations, and keeping our soldiers supplied with the latest in weaponry. OMORIKA: I wouldn't be surprised if they upped the security on him by several levels... OMORIKA: Also, keep this between us, or the group- OMORIKA: Acacia definitely had a crush on Abies. She's grinning lightly. OMORIKA: She was completely and utterly smitten with him. We chatted about him on occasion. OMORIKA: ...I'll admit that I teased her about how he never paid her attention back then. OMORIKA: Immature, I know. That was back then, though. OMORIKA: She broke my arm once because of it. Boys were serious business to her. OMORIKA: He was... completely oblivious to her affections. She laughs a little, before returning her focus to the ride ahead of her. OMORIKA: I-I've... never felt quite this tired. OMORIKA: Maybe I'll try my hand at sleeping. That's an... appealing prospect. After a lengthy period of travelling, the group arrives back at the House. Chloe happily invites herself in, mentioning to nobody in particular how hungry she is. Taeda follows her, an eager hop in her step. Marron tries her hardest to sneak her way to the spiral staircase, but Chaos spots her from his position at the shop till. She moans as Chaos flashsteps in the wrong direction, smashing through one of the walls behind him. He promptly rewinds himself, repairing the wall in the process before flashstepping in the right direction, arriving near Marron. CHAOS: marron i have jus[t] revolu[t]ionized our business MARRON: you mean your business CHAOS: yeah my business CHAOS: anyway i need you [t]o hold down [t]he shop for an hour or [t]wo MARRON: W-WHAT!? Chaos, do you know how gorillaing tired I am!? MARRON: I just freaking fought a dream demon and stuff! Do you seriously want me to man the till after that!? MARRON: ...There should be dialogue from him there MARRON: ...Or there. MARRON: oh goddamnit MARRON: he's gone MARRON: ... MARRON: CHAOS GO gorilla YOURSELF Marron plops herself down in the chair where Chaos formerly was with a fiery fervor, as Ette runs over to her position as well. Bass then walks into the house, and plants himself on the carpet once more. Then he (and most of the others in the house) are jolted awake by a loud noise- something breaking!? Bass heads downstairs to investigate. There's broken metal shards all along the floor, and a spinning blur of red. The blur appears to be Chaos, rapidly spinning about as if he was a foosball player being turned by a nuclear-powered motor. Brief flashes of a pickaxe can be seen, each one appearing for mere seconds before dissolving into a spray of metal shards and wood. Eventually, it looks like that Chaos has run out of pickaxes, so he simply moves directly into the wall, the sheer speed of his rotation melting through the wall. Bass watches as Chaos moves in a somewhat sensical pattern, and the instant Chaos stops spinning, he's now equipped with several pallets of wood. Minutes later, there's an array of doors along the hallway he's created, and a pretty decent wooden flooring. BASS: so, uh BASS: what'd you just do? CHAOS: lodging. rooms. business. BASS: oh, neat BASS: can i have one i don't actually like the carpet it smells like iti feces BASS: not that i actually know what it smells like but i'm pretty sure at least five iti died on it CHAOS: no CHAOS: fif[t]y [c]redi[t]s BASS: wait really CHAOS: yes really BASS: gorilla CHAOS: huh you jus[t] said gorilla normally, like the animal. i like i[t] The two downstairs begin to argue over the fresh real estate, attempting fruitlessly to barter with one another. Meanwhile, just outside of the house, Omo finally arrives. She appears to be speechless as she arrives at the front door, dismounting Boshi without being prompted. OMORIKA: ... OMORIKA: Y-You... set up here, of all places!? Omo suddenly blows up, in the figurative sense. OMORIKA: U-UNACCEPTABLE! OMORIKA: HAVE YOU NO RESPECT!? UNCOUTH... She calms down about as quickly as she enraged. She coughs into the crook of her elbow. OMORIKA: ... OMORIKA: ...Forgive me for what I might've just said. OMORIKA: I didn't really expect that you'd have colonized this location... OMORIKA: While the sword and shield might've suggested that you had found his residence... I didn't suspect that you had actually settled in here. OMORIKA: While I certainly do mind... I-I'm certain that he wouldn't. OMORIKA: In fact, if he were alive right now, he'd probably let you lodge here for an extended period. OMORIKA: Besides, we're all a little desperate nowadays, aren't we? OMORIKA: I'm sure that if others were in your position, they would've tried to take residence here, too. OMORIKA: ... OMORIKA: Maybe it's good for this old place to get more use. OMORIKA: We never did finish building his residence in the Citadel. Wasn't worth finishing it after he died and all. OMORIKA: We turned it into a memorial. Acacia actually contributed significantly to the construction efforts- probably the first time she's used her power for constructive purposes. OMORIKA: Make... make yourselves at home. OMORIKA: Then again, you've already done that. Anyway, with everyone now at the house, the chapter is now capable of safely ending! Next round, the day will cycle over! You'll get a nice variety of benefits, like most (if not all) cooldown-based things like Chloe's Scavenging Service instantly refilling their charges, and Marron's crafting automatically finishing and whatnot. So, like last time, now's the perfect time to craft and socialize- maybe you have something you want to say to an NPC? Or maybe you want to make sure that Chloe's dinner doesn't consist solely of grilled porkchops. There'll probably be a roleplaying update within the next day or two, so stay tuned! -------------------- |

Venia arrives at roughly the same time as Omorika, which leaves Maria and the weirdo 'kitsune' to leave their first impressions on absolutely everyone and everything. (the kitsune has not moved from their standing, 'roughly staring at the couch' position, at all, over the course of however many hours.)
Maria does things Meanwhile, roughly simultaneous with the above events, is a brief moment of Venia having one of those anime-like pause moments at Omorika's note that there's only three Glyphs. Venia asks about glyphs She briefly waits to hear Omorika's response as they travel closer to the house, though coincidentally as Omorika is done, the duo arrive, leading to Omorika exploding. "Oh, boy, yeah, I wouldn't cringe too hard. Abies lives on in you, moreso than any abode of his... I say, knowing there's a giant hole in the wall upstairs and enough dead Iti we haven't cleaned up, and I still don't know what that weird machine downstairs does other than draw attention-" "Venny! Venny!" Maria shouts, abruptly running directly to Venia and hugging her legs. Venia just stares in absolutely stunned silence in the foyer, only now realizing Maria's presence and also the presence of the kitsune, blankly 'staring' at her. Venia and Maria RP Venia rushes to the Lab below and takes the Golden Dream Ring and inspects it for damages/charge. She then reaches into the Inventory and takes out the Gallows Egg they have from the box of Cosmogone Ink. Mr. Krabs, realizing he will be needed momentarily, appears by Venia's side. Venia hands him the Golden Dream Ring. Mr. Krabs handles Lucid, activates the ring and peers into Lucid's mind... After moving to the backyard and far away from the house, and keeping Lucid's purified body out of sight of everyone else beforehand, JUST in case. After whatever happens to Mr. Krabs happens and if nothing explodes, Venia retrieves Mr. Krabs and the Ring, returns to the Lab, takes the Golden Dream Ring and herself enters the Mindscape of the Baby Gallows. Though it's likely to be especially primitive given it hasn't even really hatched and may not have an advanced brain. Venia's got a thought to her... Before the next part, Venia uses three Triangle Shop coupons to buy a single unit of Heart, Blade and Star essence each from the Triangle Emporium, and then just forks over 200 credits and 16 Samples to get the Void Essence. While she's at the Temmie Shop, she figures buying a Coffee Machine for Omorika couldn't hurt (especially not after yesterday), so she shells out the additional 750 Credits for that, too. "Sorry, I will be back a bit later!" She then goes off to find Bass, starting to feel the fatigue of all that she's doing, vials of essence in hand, and searching out the rooms upstairs. Failing to find Bass, she returns downstairs, checks the lab, and then checks the rest of the room-just to see the newfound addition of a whole new section of basement carved out by Chaos. "Oh. Oh, come on! Just after Stella was freaking out about us even being here, now there's a friggin hotel in the basement?!" Venia yells, before spying bass bartering with the newfound innkeeper. and marching downstairs. "Bass! Uh, glad I found you," Venia says, trying not to sound awkward as hell. "Chaos, you said 50 credits. Yeah, here's 50 credits, he gets a real room for a week. Actually, no, 50 a night? Here, 300. He's here for the rest of the week, bare minimum." Venia says, actively shoving him 300 credits. 300 actual credits, from the inventory and all. Venia talks to Bass Venia waits for Bass's answer, quite patiently if she has to, before running upstairs. Venia swivels back to Stella. Stella, for her part, has had the mercy of Maria just running back in and oggling Ette for a while once Boshi no longer grasped her attention, with Maria hugging Ette. ("You are so fluffy, I love you!") "I'm back, I hope she wasn't too much of a headache... Ugh, yeah, hole in the wall, upstairs. Uh, we have stuff, we'll have to fix that in the morning. And don't worry about security. Chaos is basically as strong as the former Chairheir, and that triangle dude in the back is a literal god of firearms, we have Mr. Krabs, and now we have, uh, her. The nine-tailed mammal... She, and I, would both prefer it if you paid as little attention to her as possible, however eerie she gets, OK?" Venia says. Venia grabs the Flamescarred Amethyst and the Amethyst Robes from the inventory (or, well, a crafting charge's worth of Amethyst Robes), as well as the Coffee Machine, and presents all three to Omorika. "Well, as a make-up for the hole in the wall, plus all the other terrible stuff that's happened today, uh, I've got a present for you," Venia says, showing off the Coffee Machine. "Brand-new coffee machine, just for you! You probably deserve it after all of that near-insanity you had to deal with back at the Library and all of that." Venia says. "Also... Found this weird Amethyst on Lucid's remains," Venia says, gesturing to the Flamescarred Amethyst. "It feels like it could be powerful, or such. I was thinking of the Amethyst Robes pretty much instantly when I saw this, and I figure this may be the key to unlocking its potential, but I'm not... Well, I think secondhand evidence means you're the most likely to know how to do it. I know there's some hidden power in these robes, but I think you could bring them out. Possibly with that Amethyst. Seems thematically coherent, at least," Venia says. Venia sticks around just long enough to see what Omorika does, and possibly marvel at the sight. After a bit, she speaks up again. By the time Venia whirls around to Marron, she's panting from modest exhaustion. Maria is looking at Marron and Ette like they was the single most awsome thing in the world, and Venia feels a little too exhausted to pay her much mind other than keep an eye on her, to prevent her from doing stupid things. "...Back, sorry about the rush. Uh, I heard, you were in an experimenting mood? For making stuff? Uh, I had an idea, for something. You could try. For, uh, the 'cooler gear.' I'm... Hrm, I had this idea... Ugh, what was it-Yeah! That. I would like you to make... Uh, hrm. High-quality pieces of armor and headgear that are easy to wear and use, more-so than anything else, for people inexperienced with fighting." "The first thing, uh. It should be, hrm. Think of something that you would wear if you weren't wearing your Needlebound cloak. Something for an aggressive fighter, not bogged down by too much armor or defensive measures. This should be suited for fighting with guns or melee weapons, though." "The second thing should be a helmet, for people with a tough attitude. This ought to be heavy, uh. Either it helps with shielding yourself, or it's just really hard to break through. This is for someone who, erm, puts themselves directly in the line of fire." "The final thing, uh, it ought to be some kind of hat for our wizardly-types. Like, this should mostly bloster magical potency, more-so than anything else. Maybe Ette could get this one, she seems very potent in terms of her magic." "I don't really care for the details; I'll leave that up to you, with an exception that, again, it should be easy to use. To briefly break the fourth wall, this means Stat Downs/Weaknesses ought to be minimized, if they're even on the item to begin with. These may or may not be stat-only items, just, uh, don't make them have weird gimmicks, as the whole point is that they're easy to use and understand." "Does that work with you?" Venia asks, handing over the requisite 240 credits. "I hope this isn't too much to ask." Once Venia hears a reply, Venia goes to pick up Maria, heading straight over to the couch and letting Maria sit on her lap. Mr. Krabs sneaks out and retrieves Calypse, shoving the Eliti back into the inventory where it will be safe. |

As the three of them enter the House, Toast excuses herself to head down to the lab. Well, not before getting ambushed by Maria. The suddenness of the small girl's comments catch her by surprise.
"Er- thanks! You've got a cool look too! ...Are you new around?" After that convo, she actually does go downstairs. Cardboard Box Then, she hops back up the stairs and chats with Marron, acting coy about her star-related motives. "Hmm~ Come up to the room when you're ready, and I'll show you. Althooough, I have a few errands to run first, so maybe meet you up there after dinner or something?" Toast allows herself an excited smile as she bounces away. Toast goes mad with power 1. Next "Hey, Gutta. Are you alright on the couch again tonight?" Finally, Toast heads upstairs and goes down the hall to the purple room. She unequips her fighting gear (but keeps the scarf), and places it all by the weapon rack. |

Terry flies up into the Green Room, walks to U6, then sits down. He takes out a Crystal Pen, then draws an intricate web of glass cracks within a square that just so happens to be in U5. He then calls up an Accursed Storybook, then obliterates its face-analogue via a series of electrofire punches. Its magical energies leak out of its freshly-made corpse, then flow into the magic "circle" Terry made. The "circle" collapses, becoming somewhat like a crack in reality. It then shatters further, until it forms a portal in the shape of a perfect square.
Terry then uses the table in the room to deconstruct 2 "blocks" of Refined Wood into about 16 sticks, and then to reconstruct said sticks into a wooden ladder. He then drops it down into the portal, then fastens it to said portal using magical string. Terry jumps in, then slides down the ladder. The portal leads to a vibrant and colorful pocket dimension the size of an average bedroom. It's basically its own lighting. "Well that's convenient." Terry summons a Banquet Table, chops some of its legs off, reinforces it with Refined Wood, and then builds a small wall on one of its short ends using the excess wood from its legs. He also throws two Nice Coats and a medium-sized package of Silkweed into the void. It spits out a floofy pillow, a blanket, and a mattress. Terry then uses them and the bedframe he just made to assemble a bed. He puts it on the end of the room that's far from the ladder, or something like that. He then consumes a Paper Sheet to leave a note. this is what the note ---- Terry flash-steps to S34, sitting on the backrest of the couch, legs dangling just over the Savepoint. "...He would be...honored? Wow. Thanks for telling me, Taeda. That's good to know."
As the party walks back towards The House, Simeon trails behind, without saying a word. When he gets back, the first thing he does is go up the stairs, to Toast's/The Purple Room. There, he sets the Restored Shortsword and Smouldering Aegis back on the weapon rack where they were first found, and sits down cross-legged in front of it. "Carrying your legacy? I'm not ready for another responsibility like that." "Not yet. Maybe not ever." "I'll find a good spot for your arms, but that's all I can do." "I'm sorry, Abies. I really am." Just then, someone opens the door. "ACK!" Simeon scrambles to his feet. "Zal, how'd you get here?" "Why are you in Toast's room?" "How do you even know it's Toast's room?" "Can you stop changing the subject with another question?" "...Alright..." Zahlia smiles. "You know you can tell me what's going on, right?" "You know exactly what's going on," Simeon grumbles. "Yes, but I'd like to hear it from your mouth." For a moment, Simeon cracks a small smile, before replying telepathically, No. "Alright, correction, I'd like to hear it from you. Is that okay?" Zahlia says, rolling her eyes. Not now. "Can you at least come downstairs?" Fine. -------------------- [1]Downstairs, Simeon and Zahlia sit on the couch. The latter turns around and pops their head up over the back of the couch and waves at Koharu when she walks in. "Hi Koharu! I'm Zahlia!" She points to the person sitting next to her. "This here's Simeon, but he's being a sourpuss right now. Simeon, say hi." Hi. "You know, I'm starting to regret teaching you telepathy." -------------------- [3]At the mention of the words Anime, Girl, and Contagious, Simeon turns around and scoots ever so slightly away. "Sorry about that, he's just not in the mood to talk right now. So, what brings you here?" -------------------- [5]"Well, the wind blows people about to all sorts of places! Where's the last place you were?" -------------------- [7]"Sure, why not?" Zahlia beckons for Koharu to come over to the couch. "Wanna sit down?" -------------------- [9]"And then you found yourself here?" At the word "Scientist," Simeon perks up. That's an interesting name, Nullpetal. Null Petal, he says telepathically. -------------------- [11]"Wow. The breeze has really taken you places." -------------------- [13]"So, now that you've answered a question of mine, it's only fair you get to ask me one too. Do you have any?" Simeion flashes Zahlia a look, which she responds to with a shrug. -------------------- [15]"A combination of dimensional travel, spaceship tickets, and a bit of teleportation. Believe it or not, it's cheaper than you'd think." -------------------- [17]"Hm? What do you mean by that? Long way from home?" Zal pauses to think for a moment. "Yeah, I guess we are." -------------------- |

Oops, forgot my skill points. I put one into INT (which improves Glacveil and Cure by a bit), and the other three into DEF.
Bergilmir gives a small sigh of relief when Chloe absolves him of his failure. He starts escorting her (alongside everyone else in the group) to the house. cA: Thank you plenty, Lady Chloe. That, oh how to they say it in this language... "lifts weight off my shoulders". Oh! And as you want something else to eat, I can use my magic to make a roast or stew, if you would like. His body relaxes, tension flowing out of his body (and robot arm). He looks up at the stars as Chloe does. He looks... contemplative, for lack of a better word. For several minutes he is quiet. cA: ... cA: ..... cA: ....... He sighs, looking rather exhausted all of a sudden. From the way he's trying not to, it's pretty obvious that he's trying not to. He gives a small groan as he stretches. cA: ...This single instance is the first time in a long stretch of time that I have been able to... relax. That is not... a pleasure I am able to often take part in during my life. So much has passed since I and the others first arrived in this realm, and the same goes for you, Lady Chloe. How do you feel about all that has... transpired so far? -------------------- what if you have like 100 DGE and you're standing behind a lamppost
The lamppost takes the hit for you, and dies. does the lamppost just become magnetic Yes. Yes it does. also, overkill damage to the thing won't harm the things hiding behind it so being next to cover terrain can't ever really be worse then not standing next to one "Sir, the man just survived a blast from the Ultimate Cannon. It did destroy the thorn bush though." rad "What the gorilla." |
