As the battle concludes, EN stretches and yawns, then turns to take a look over at the far side of the bridge. She sees Omo sleeping. She turns to Venia. She sees Mr Krabs's warning. And then, she closes her eyes, a faint and almost untraceable signal firing out...

Venia would promptly find herself being lifted into the air, as though somehow falling upwards, then Verdana strolls into the room, shining like the goddamn beacons of Gondor itself.

"Hello there, Venia! That's your name, right? Anyway, I heard you were going to do something irrational... Please do not do that! Omorika's irrationality was enough already!"

Beat.

"I'll let you back down once you're calm and ready to have the floor again."

Verdana then somehow just floats over to where Omorika currently is located, standing next to her with a smile, and still shining really really brightly. He then reaches out and gives Omorika a tap on the nose.

"Boop. Please wake up soon, Omo! Once Lucid is dead, I'm sure nobody will mind letting you have a nap, but now isn't the time!"

Hat Kid wastes no time as soon as the last Corpsetaker died; she scrambles to Boshi's lifeless corpse, and feeds him a 1-UP Mushroom. This instantly revives him, leaving no wounds behind.

"(Whew, never doing that again! Hey, kid, ho-)"

"NO TIME! LOOK AFTER WOOD LADY OMO AND TALL LADY!!!"

"(Wh-)" He looks over to Omo and the approaching Venia. "(Oh... o-oh nooo.... bad... t-this is b-b-bad...)" He remains silent for a moment; fiercely quivering, not with fear, but rage, maybe out of his double failure to protect those he cares for; before stepping in to halt Venia.

"(I'm sorry, what? Did you just say 'PURGE'!? Venia, if you're seriously thinking of harming an ally, even if she's likely to go ballistic soon, is causing MORE harm really the way? No! No it's not! So don't even THINK about it! And besides, I highly doubt the end of the universe as we know it would wake her up if we don't annihilate Lucid!)"

"(HOWEVER! There is another option available to de-commission Omo for the time being. And no, it does not involve massively harmful attacks and pain. I would recommend instead putting her in some sort of restraint. In fact, let's double it up. Durasteel restraints, put her in Calypse's cage, and take away her Tomehammer for the time being. Simple and effective until we can rip apart Lucid, piece by piece, atom by atom. I don't care if you're planning to interject with an idea of your own, I'm doing it anyway! though your thievery skills would be helpful for the tomehammer theft if my attempt doesnt work tbh)"

And with that, Boshi, in a fit of pure rage and determination, lifts Omo onto his saddle, and sprints so fast you swear he's running at the speed of light...

---

Boshi re-appears not moments later at the Duelling Hut. With the utmost urgency, he slams down Calypse's cage, rips off Omo's Tomehammer, quickly stores it in the Display in the Basement (which he puts in the inventory), books it back up to the Cage, and puts her in there. He then casts shackles and chains out of Durasteel, using some of his unnerving amounts of rage (and a bit of magic) to melt it into the various links and shackles. This expends 3 Durasteel, and should be able to be recycled after the fact.

Boshi then swiftly welds some Durasteel rings to the floor and roof of the cage, sets the chains and shackles onto them, then shackles Omo's hands and feet to the ceiling and floor, completely immobilized after some tightening up.

He then slams the cage shut, and locks it. He can't help but worry if he did the right thing, though... almost wished there was someone there to watch... so he asks Chaos to keep watch on the cage for a rogue "wood waifu", if they manage to break free. And also asks to not kill her in self-defense or anything, just restrain her, and restrain her hard.

After he negotiates with Chaos, he runs back towards the Library, looking back at the cage worriedly, then books it back. He can't help but feel like someone he knows is watching that cage, though...

---

While Boshi was busy with Omo, Hat Kid takes some time to update the Sprint Hat.
CRAFTPOST

MATERIALS:
-Sprint Hat
-Skyscales (x1)
-Galeforce Crystal (x1)
-Greatwood Logs (x1)
-Throwlem Crystal (x1)

Hat Kid begins with making a weave out of the Skyscales' bark and innards, and Greatwood Logs, with the Spirit Loom. Seriously makes making different weaves easier. She then melts down both crystals with a bit of fire from a potion she concocted, stirs, and uses a simple stick and her Ice Hat to crystallize the new mixture around the stick.

A crystal that really wants to be really fast; fast as the wind, if not faster. Perfect for the hat. She melts down the uniform crystal once more, and basically soaks the entire hat and the weave in the stuff. With a scary amount of speed, Hat Kid stitches the Skyscale-Greatwood weave through the back of the hat, allowing it to be so much lighter it's hard to tell if it even has a weight anymore.

As the crystal hardens, it's definitely near weightless. She adds a bit of unimportant string to the hat to keep it from flying off in a spectacular fashion.

RESULT:
Sprint Cap (T3) - A hat dipped in liquid crystal. This is gonna be a pain to wear...
Same stats as before.
(Super Mobile) - Allows the user to Sprint even when a Maneuver item that replaces Sprinting is being worn.

It is, of course, equipped. Also, -2 to MP, +3 to SKI, and replace Mirror Image with Phase Shift.

---

Boshi picks up Hat Kid, and freaking bursts into Omo's office with so much speed that as he stopped, short-lived flames appeared out of his heels. He roars, coffee in hand; "(ALRIGHT LUCID, YA gorillaING gorillaHEAD, YOU'RE gorillaING SO DEAD RIGHT NOW IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!)"

uA: H-hey, Omo! Are you okay!?

Auth, the most conscious of the threat at present, stares nervously as Omo is taken away and locked up by Boshi. He doesn't seem confident that locking her up in Calypse's cage will work. At all. In the least. So he steps away, back to the House, to try and work out a way to wake Omo back up.

Crafting - Coffee Time

Result: As many coffee cups as is appropriate.
Used: 35x Coffee Beans

Seeing as Omo is asleep, the logical course of action would be to try and wake her up. Unfortunately, Auth has to do that from very far away. So, he thinks, the best way to do that would be freshly made coffee. He hopes that will do the trick, anyway...

And, fortunately enough, he has coffee beans to work with. There's just one problem, and that Auth does not like the taste of coffee. At all. So he can't tell if it's any good or not... he will do his best though. His talents at cooking are renown among his family, after all.

So he collects the coffee beans that were left in the inventory and heads down to the basement, where there is a coffee machine and probably some grinders. All of these are necessary to make the best coffee possible. Before he can even do that, though, he washes the beans in a sink and then casts Purify on them.

Auth places some beans in the grinder, and grinds them down until they have a consistency similar to a large salt. The reason for this is the drip coffee machine that is next to him. After the whole grinding coffee deal, Auth loads the machine with the ground coffee beans, and ensures that the machine has plenty of water. He then lets the machine do its thing, creating the coffee that he feels is necessary to create.

Auth then pulls the pot out of the machine when he sees that the machine is finished, and looks within the pot, checking that it smells right (it does) and that it looks right (it does). Auth then proceeds to pour the coffee into a cup, and he tastes it, taking a small sip from it. He feels some obligation... and then he spits it out into a sink, because it's still disgusting. At least, it is to him, an ardent tea drinker. There's plenty more coffee though, and so Auth pours out several more cups and carefully places them into the inventory.

Auth repeats the process with as many coffee beans as he can handle, making quite a number of cups of coffee, as he's fully aware that the next fight is unquestionably going to be against Lucid, who could cause some serious issues with sleep (especially with Omo, if she wakes up).

There was something Auth did need to do. He takes the coffee not in the inventory, and walks over to Omorika, locked up in a cage. He looks really depressed about it. He slips the coffee into the cage, which is warm and should stay that way for a while, and it has a quite strong aroma. Even that might have an effect on Omo...

Worried about her, he sits and watches the cage, knowing that Omo might wake up and start attacking. The fact that Auth is there might slow her down by even a few seconds. Auth doesn't really like his chances against the wooden girl, even though she's been entirely disarmed by Boshi before he left.

Knowing that it might be a while before something happens, Auth pulls out the Mindscape Radio, and calls Glitch Temmie. Seems that he intends to check on how Operative and Chloe are getting along with killing the Mental Lucid. It's a logical thing to do. Things might take a while to actually get started in regards to Lucid.

While he waits for somebody to pick up on the Radio, Auth makes the logical decision to upgrade his equipment. To be useful to the team, he must have the top of the line gear. Before that, though, he needs to properly understand the ways in which he has grown through battle.

Skill Point Attribution

+3 MMP
+1 SPC

Auth, knowing what's still missing (marginally), begins by substituting the Nurse's Hat he's been wearing for the Necroweb Skullcap. There's only one problem.

The second it touches its head, the sheer force of anti-edge in his body immediately causes the cap to transmute into a strange mask. One that displays a certain amount of serenity. Certainly more than Auth's head.

New Hat

(T3) Strength Mask - Only with strength can one endure suffering and torment.

Stats: (+8 MMP) (+2 INT) (Fortitude) (-2 DEF)
Resists: Slashing (10%) Ice (10%) Dark (20%) Light (-30%)

(Fortitude) Your Restorative spells have Manafuelled1.

Once per battle, you may cause a Restorative spell (or a non-Restorative spell healing effect) to restore no HP, and instead deal Dark damage equal to the amount it'd heal.

To get onto actual equipment crafting...

[spoiler=Regeneration Trinket]

[b](T4) Consuming Catalyst - Makes everything around it a sepia tone, as though eating all the colour around it.

Stats: (+1 INT) (+3 MP Regen) (-3 MHP) (-1 RES)
Resists: Dark (20%) Light (-30%) Ice (-30%)

Auth draws the catalyst out of his pocket. It's helped him greatly in increasing his use in battle, keeping his regeneration quite high. It is important to him that he ensures it remains a viable piece of equipment, and to that end, he draws the parasite out of the inventory. Now, this thing is a major pain in the neck to keep around, especially because it might still be alive.

There's just one problem with it, actually. The fact it could be alive. Which makes Auth a perfect target for it, being soft and squishy and far away from everyone else with little ability to defend himself. Thus, Auth looks around for a certain someone to help. He, actually, is looking for EN to make sure that the parasite is dead. When he finds her...

[color=#5300a9][font=Courier New][b]uA: U-um, hey, Mother... um...
uA: I require a favour from you. Could you please make sure this... thing is dead?
uA: I need to use it for something and I don't want it to attack me...
uA: And ideally, it should get it well out of the way.

Venia does not listen to Boshi at all-she's immediately stopped by Verdana applying immediate reverse gravitational lift to Venia's body. Nothing happens for a moment as Verdana begins to speak something about something.

Absolutely everything thereafter is cut off by the unholy sound of an amazingly loud scream that one could almost be fooled into thinking is not coming from Venia. It sounds like some unholy eldritch god is reacting to a mortal blow, except now-it's just Venia screaming and it's really, really loud. Ungodly so. If this wouldn't wake up Omorika, doubtful anything else would. The fact this is not attracting Iti is either a miracle, or the fact that the sound coming out of her throat is indicative of something no Iti, let alone a horde, would willingly fight.

Then she starts crying. Her hands cup over her face, her body curls into the closest approximation of the fetal position she can get, and she cries, cries, and cries, with absolutely no signs of stopping, wallowing in whatever perceived failure she has committed, or whatever personal fault she has made, suspended in the air for all to see.

It takes her several minutes for her to actually recompose herself enough to speak through the tears.

"...I'm... I'm a failure..."

To his credit, Verdana doesn't really seem all that bothered by the unholy noise going on around him, just standing around and humming, although after the first minute he can't help but glance over at the flying Venia and wonder what's going on over there. Once he finally hears what Venia has to say, he glances around the room for a moment, then flies back over to hover beside her in the air. There's a pause.

"...No, not really. Just because not everything went according to plan, it doesn't mean failure. Be careful of the perfectionist line of thinking! The strain to achieve perfection is the enemy of adequacy!"

Another pause.

"I don't know what else to say. But that's okay! I'll think of things to say as the need for them to be said arises! For now, if nothing bad is going to happen..."

Verdana glances downwards at the ground below, then lowers himself back down onto the ground, and shortly after brings Venia back down to the ground as well.

"There. Solid ground! Well, sort of. I really don't trust this environment. It's all... hole-y. And not like holy, as in blessed, but it's got the property of there being holes every- oh forget it. Silly phrasing anyway!"

Another beat. With Verdana completely having ran out of things to say for now, he does the last thing he can think of, and promptly hugs Venia tightly despite evidence saying that physical contact might not be fully safe. The light around him also shifts to what he hopes is a more comforting light level...

Meanwhile, since Auth has approached her for help, EN turns to face her and listens closely to his request. Then, she nods, taking what seems to be an ice pick out from her wrist.

"A'ight. Jus' give it 'ere..."

Once she has the parasite, she looks around for a head on the thing for a moment, then moves to pretty much obliterate any chance of the parasite having a head at all anymore via ice pick to the face. After that, she hands it back to Auth with a casual smile, ignoring the now-bloodied ice pick.

Venia's tears blot out Verdana's words, and her eyes avert her from Verdana's gaze; she only vaugely addresses the shift in ground and doesn't actually get up.

And then she is hugged. Verdana is barely able to even lift her-but she is lifted, and she is hugged, in a motion swift and graceful. Venia makes a loud, high-pitched noise of surprise as she's abruptly grabbed, but soon just accepts it.

It takes her about a minute before she starts shaking, this time definitely not from sorrow. She has only barely stopped crying. "Th...th, th, th, th, thhh, thanks, gotta go."

She breaks off from Verdana without further.

----|<|0|>|----

Flux Extraction
Venia retreats to the laboratory, her sanctum, the perception filter unable to distract her; she needs to prepare. Prepare for It. Fortuitously, she prepares fast. She does not, however, even bother with her usual recordings; she is just far too irritated to even set up.

She aims herself at the Iris Cookies, or at least, one of them. No need to use all three, right? (She uses two Iris Cookies if one will not suffice for Flux reasons.) Then, she takes some of that silver goop she's constantly sweating at this point and covers the Cookies in them. The silver goop is tainted red as the cookies melt and diffuse. To speed the process up, she proceeds to take this small setup and shove the whole thing in a blender and set a timer for five minutes.

The blender is no ordinary blender; it's been enhanced with temporal and spatial magics. The enhancements screw with time within the blender; it doesn't necessarily make it faster to blend things, but rather it makes the blades of the blender itself faster by exploiting hyper-localized time dilation to make blending faster and using spatial anomalies to force the blades to go as fast as they possibly can; the resulting time dilation means that the speed, to the 'proper' perspective (IE the rest of the blender and the outside world) is going at FTL speeds.

The goop and the cookie soon lose all molecular distinction. The goop, however, is not normal goop; it fades away very fast upon creation without intervention by other substances, like the entropy-infused cookies. The end result is that what's left in the blender by the end of it is a relatively safe, extremely pure sludge containing the raw power of entropy-or, if you would, Flux.

Venia pours this flux into whatever safe container the crew have been putting Flux in before now.

Resources Expended: 1 (or 2, GM depending) Iris Cookies
Result: Some amount of Flux.

Venia then turns to the newly-aquired Rose Weave. She has had plenty of time to test and observe a similarly-empowered type of cloth, that being the clothing of her Ephemeral Jacket. Still, this had the obvious distinction of the influence of the Rose-the Butterfly-the Curse-the whatever. She didn't care for what fanciful title that it possessed, only how to make herself the entity's antithesis, and subsequently the bane of omnicidal maniacs that cause these scenarios everywhere-whether spiritually or otherwise. (That this has a fair chance of circumventing her issue with her metaphysical cancer is definitely an additional motivating factor.)

She stretches the cloth upon a wall-about six units, to be precise. She figures six to be enough. Units of three. Trinities. She could use the other six later to help tweak her jacket, she thinks, as well. Doesn't matter in the end, though; she has to.do this. Venia proceeds to press her bare right hand against the fabric. This stings, a little, but nothing to worry about. Venia then works her knowledge of chronological magic to do something relatively similar to that which she inflicted upon the Reclaimed Chairian a ways back; alter time around the fabric. Except, instead of just slowing time down in a localized area, *this* stasis bubble has two effects; the first, outer layer is a proper stasis chamber, a thin layer of time wherein things screech to a halt; the second, inner layer that is the majority of the volume, and which the pieces of fabric initially comprise in their fullest, is sped up dramatically (Venia's hand excluded), exabercating the decaying effect of Entropy in and around the fabric pieces.

Needless to say, this destroys the fabric in record time, but it also leaves a substantial amount of Entropic Energy in its wake. At the sight of the fully-decayed clothes, Venia breaks the inner barrier, leaving the outer barrier to freeze the Entropic energy in-place. From there, Venia just splashes more of her liquid goop all over the Entropic energy; the lack of 'middleman' ensures no blending is necessary, creating more Flux, which is vacuumed into the appropriate containers.

Resources expended: 6 Rose Weaves.
Result: Some amount of Flux.

----|<|0|>|----

With this done, she Spends up to 15 Flux to gain access to the Mirror form of the Entropic Key, if possible. If she's short on 15 Flux, she instead uses 10 Flux to get the Twisted Rose upgrade. If neither are true, skip this.

Venia moves on to improving her gear for the actual fights ahead. She hands Mr. Krabs her bow, figuring that the krab/robot will figure something out, while she works on her coat.

Crafting Actions

Slayer's Splintercast

Mr. Krabs siezes the bow and immediately shoves it back into the inventory to pull out a regular Splintercast, and then moves to put a specific type of Apple upon Venia's head. Mr. Krabs then takes aim at the apple upon Venia's head. The joke is immediately understood as a reference to William Tell's famous act of shooting an apple upon a friend's head. Mr. Krabs laughs, the GM laughs, the parasite in the apple laughs, Mr. Krabs shoots the apple. Good times.

The resulting burst of chaotic energy from the arrow impacting the apple somehow metamorphasizes the bow into a rather powerful-looking handgun and makes it more murderous in its aura. How interesting.

Materials Expended: Splintercast (1), Apple (1).
Slayer's Splintershot(T4)
Ceci n'est pas une splintercast
(9-10) Piercing Damage, Range 3-5, 0 Retreat, 1 Counter, 7 HIT. +3 MHP.
WEAPON SKILL: Slayer's Mark. Target a foe in Range 3-5. That foe has Ensnared3 for 2 turns, and all allies attacking this foe gain Lucky3 for 2 turns.

Rose Eater's Coat

Venia's attempt at upgrading the Ephemeral Jacket is far less ridiculous than Mr. Krab's attempts at upgrading the Killer Bow (or so she thinks; he's really upgraded a Splintercast instead, not like she'll really care). In fact, you could almost argue it as basic, if not for the very specific manner in which she attempts to do this.

Of the six remaining units of Rose Weave, Venia takes three, leaving three remaining. She also takes half of the remaining Processed Fabric, mostly due to its white-ish textures. She also takes one of the nice coats from the Carinval party check and takes the one closest to her fit. It's just a little bit too small, but Venia can easily fix that. She proceeds to rip out most of the fabric from in the coat and remove it, leaving a pile of normal cotton stuffing.

Her first point of interest is to take her Ephemeral Jacket and induce its effects to the wider coat. The natural increase in surface area and mass will in turn generate more power. Of course, this also means that she'll need a bit more Entropy-infused fabric, which one of her three units of Rose Weave swiftly solves; she quickly unwinds the whole thing into piles of Entropy-infused string. She tears most of her jacket up, removing the buttons entirely as well as the collar, and then tearing off both sleeves, leaving a mostly-flat vest-like thing. The torn sleeves are stuffed into the emptied Coat's sleeves, and the remains of the jacket proper (now mostly a vest) are inserted into the coat. Most of the cotton is inserted back into the jacket to stuff it properly, leaving only a small portion of it out to compensate for the added mass of the Entropy-infused clothing. The Rose String is then used to stitch up the coat and begin creating a decal on the back-one, specifically, of the signature symbol of the Chaos Butterfly. Mostly. Some of the center zero's top is obscured by something. After the Coat is completely stitched up properly, Venia's more solid understanding of Entropy magic enables her to properly distribute the Entropy among the coat, leaving most of it as red... But in the process, the buttons on the coat (ten in all) go flying off, unable to handle the Entropy like fabric can. Venia sighs-she'll correct that.

Venia takes the remaining two units of Rose Weave to fill in the outlined Chaos Butterfly insignia upon the back of the jacket. Then, then she does something that will almost certainly piss the hell off of every Rose Cultist to walk the earth. It almost quantifies as stupidity if her kit was not almost perfectly created to brutally counter them.

She takes the processed fabric-all three units-and upon the back of the jacket proceeds to weave in a massive spider, which was the obscuring element of the Chaos Butterfly sybmol. The spider takes up most of the jacket's back, much larger than the Butterfly symbol and partially engulfing it with its legs and its giant maw. Whatever that beast was, this jacket was symbolically insulting its power and reach, but also insinuating that there could be an entity that could actually destroy it-no, completely and utterly consume it.

Venia always thought spiders had an affiliation with her, and this Chaos Butterfly fellow was already catching her ire, if only because it was not-so-indirectly responsible for everything. Though, if the Rose Cultists mistook this as the form of some anti-Rose entity out to destroy them, then, well, Venia would be right pleased about that. Either works for her. She's just angry now. Her ability to knit is very basic, and very telling, but it is definitely sufficient to keep the whole thing together. She then exploits a basic-level cantrip (a bit of a requirement to know magic is to consequentially know a lot of very unimpressive, not-terribly-useful minor spells of near-zero consequence) to change most of the jacket's outer material into denim, morphing it blue in the process. The Entropy would still emit as red, but now, at least, both the purposely-broken Rose sigil and the massive spider eating it would stick out, while the jacket itself was actually in a color she liked. That denim jackets were of questionable style did not bother her too much-it just made the jacket tougher.

With that, Venia puts it on, and almost dubs it complete, and then she remembers the buttons, which are now thoroughly slain. She sighs, reaches into the inventory, and pulls out ten Shadow Crystals. 3D shadows or otherwise, Venia intends to use them for something relatively cheap; using a small cantrip to forcibly morph them into button-like shapes so she can button the coat properly. She only needs some spare twine to properly attach the buttons to the denim coat. With that done, Venia dubs the jacket complete for real this time.

Materials Expended: Ephermeral Jacket, Nice Coat (x1), Rose Weave (x3), Processed Fabric (x3), Shadow Crystals (x10)
Rose Eater's Coat (T4)
...And on its back was the Second Great Heresy; a spider encroaching and devouring the Horizon-Eater. We knew this as a Heresy for there was no thing that could devour the Horizon-Eater; but we knew it was beyond a normal Heresy for it was written in the fabrics of the Horizon-Eater, subverting the Horizon-Eater's will, a sickening subversion of its pure Entropy. And we knew when we saw it that whoever wore this garment was an enemy of the Horizon-Eater and of Their followers, and must be destroyed. - anonymous Rose Cultist.
(+4 STR) (+3 SPC) (Ezekiel 25:17) (INT-1)
Glitch (10%), Fire (20%), Crushing (-10%)
Ezekiel 25:17: When an ally is downed, gain 10 SP. Anytime you gain SP, gain +5 more SP regardless of the source. (including whenever an ally is downed.) (No, the second effect does not trigger itself indefinitely, but it does trigger off of the first effect.)

----|<|0|>|----

After ALL of that, Venia tosses her skillpoint into AGI, which makes all of her total skillpoints even numbers. Yes, this gets its own section just so Ire can see.

----|<|0|>|----

By the time Venia returns to the group, she's... Doing the thing. The 'weird blur and drip' thing, and quite excessively. Her lips are locked tight against one another, her brow furrowed as far as it can, electric blue locked onto Omorika's office as she unceremoniously shoves a whole Coffee down her throat.

"So I've been thinking of, uh, stuff. Yeah. Stuff. About, uh, everything. The Rose, WARE, the Iti, Lucid, Omo, ect. No fruit in violence and hate and such, but I'm pretty sure Ghandi or someone else said that they who have violence in their hearts must not cage it, or something, and right now, I, uh, I can't really lie. I feel violent as hell."

Venia drops to all fours as the liquid slowly overtakes her, Entropic Key between her hands as it cloaks itself with Entropic Energies, her soul made manifest behind her-a black crystal skeleton with rolls of silver fabric and silver diamond spiders/masks for hair. Unexisting Theorem.

"So, uh. Yeah. I'm just gonna say this quickly... I'm not sure how we're going to solve all of these problems, but as far as I know, this is MY story, OUR story, and in OUR story, no-one-and I! MEAN! NO-ONE! IS GOING TO DIE! NOW, OUT OF MY WAY.

It's less that people actually get out of Venia's way immediately, and more that the Bridge abruptly expands, new mass inexplicably and forcibly jettisoning from the center as the edges extend, briefly carrying away everyone on the center as Venia engages the horrific transformation in full, turning yet again into a massive silver tentacled beast made of mask spiders, though here, something is slightly different: eight leg tentacles (and eight arm tentacles) as well as a slightly larger back-section, almost like an eldritch type of spider, though you'd have to be focusing and forcing it a bit to really say that. Venia's soul vanishes (presumably back into her body) as the massive abomination careens directly into the door, completely destroying them in the process as well as whatever was dumb enough to stand directly behind them. (Which wasn't any ally, thankfully)

Then-then the abomination roars, and instead of roaring loud, it roars an audible silence, a vaccum of noise that makes one feel like they have been stricken deaf. A horrific cackle of unrecognizable energy crosses the pseudo-spider's body as the whole thing convulses; Venia's voice has warped beyond any recognition...

"LLLLLLLLUCID. SKIP the pretenses. Do the STUIPD, OBVIOUS THING you were going to do with Omorika already. TRUST ME. It will NOT SAVE YOU. You WILL be dead, purged of the hivemind, or WORSE before the end of this day. SURRENDER. Let us have the rune and RELEASE HER from the NIGHTMARE. If you do, I'll let you PICK."

Venia has entered the battle with her special active, coffee drank, and Purge already set up. She is not screwing around.

Mr. Krabs just kind of casually snatches up the Stone Rose. "We don't actually accept bribes, but then again for metaphysical reasons no-one can properly comprehend, you are both very unlikely to be of future service to us and very unlikely to be a recruitable, so I would just run off and ditch the Rose Cult so we don't have to murder you in the future. Or the Rose Cult doesn't turn you into a +1 Ring of Jumping or something."

Terry mods himself to this. (Tab: ARC 2.75)
----
Terry rebuilds himself back at the House. He gets up from the Couch, walks to the Dining Table to eat some cookies from the pyramid and drink some milk, and holds up a pendant. Its design is an intricate prism, with a sky blue C engraved in the middle. He closes his eyes, and focuses...
----
...and he's at the Bridge of the Fallen. He summons ten spectral megaphones, attaches them in a line, and aims at Omorika. He breathes in...

"KLANCE IS CANON KING"

No response. The megaphones are unsummoned. He then looks again, and realizes that Omo isn't there.

"Guess I'll just..."

Terry slaps the top of his Toast Plushie. It shanks him on the side, then starts glowing.

"This floofy thing can fit so much emergency determination inside!"

He then downs a Cup of Coffee to heal his wound.

Terry walks into Omo's Office, then gets ready for a fight.

I invest four skill points in INT, and move another 1 point from AGI to INT.
the drone is not digesting. when it eats things, it's really putting them inside itself so it can see them from all angles and manipulate them from an equal number of angles.
So it does that again, trys again, and hopefully succeeds this time.

Meanwhile...
JOE decides to be safe. yes. very safe.
If omo is still in the vicinity of her office after all other player actions are said and done, JOE puts her in the inventory (along with any attached restraints), and then the drone deinventorizes her in the hidden grove, near the crater.
aside from that, JOE takes a running leap off the bridge and to the crystal outcropping labled crystals in the bridge, then eats itdoes his best to harvest it, by climbing to the bottom, using the Trigger- scorpion to make a very thin and weak layer of trion around it which could be considered a container (a slightly thicker section cutting through the base of the crystal), and inventorizes it. because, you know, there's a chance lucid will use those. afterwards, he runs back up to the bridge to be ready.

KO: Let's see...

Kokichi begins his raid on the inventory. Although it's less of a raid and more of him just taking stuff that people aren't using.

Kokichi equips:

- Roboglass Ballgown (Not even reskinned. Kokichi's literally wearing a dress.)

KO: Nee hee hee! This is amazing.

- Nailbat (Kokichi likes the weapon skill. He'd thank Ire if he was meta-aware.)

Kokichi tries out the weapon skill, flipping off whatever NPC happens to be nearby by "accident."

- Starcrystal Scarf (Ooh, cool scarf.)

Kokichi ties the scarf around his neck. Due to his scarf being a trinket, he's now wearing two scarves. Stars appear in his eyes as they light up.

KO: Wooaaahh~

/Kokoffee time in progress. Coffeekichi? I dunno.

Well, with that battle out of the way, Keiko recognizes that now would be a good time to give her notebook a well-required upgrade. It probably needs it badly. Time to fix that...
  • Crystal Pens (x20)
  • Greatwood Logs (x5)
  • Aero Core (x1)
To start off, the one thing Keiko knows requires an upgrade is her pen, surprisingly enough. A cheap, one dollar clearance aisle pen just wasn't going to cut it, and those Crystal Pens looked quite promising indeed. No need to refill on ink, after all. But, the problem is that they're crystals, which are pointy in many ways and, judging by their abundance in the inventory, aren't very large.

This is ultimately not a major problem, however. Some hot glue, a few applications of a knife, and a couple minutes later, a makeshift pen is born that doesn't suck. One part of the process down, two to go.

The next is improving the book itself, and those Greatwood Logs should do fine enough for that purpose. Naturally, somebody with the kind of power set as Keiko would be entirely capable of creating paper from wood, even if given the circumstances that maybe doing such a thing would probably start to make her look like some divine figure of life and death to the general populus.

But that implies Keiko would care. Using some swift, specialized techniques, a full notebook's worth of paper is quickly in her hands, and the few remaining Greatwood Logs go to making the actual notebook look fancier. Yet, somehow... something's missing. Something that might be important.

Like, say, having it float without expending magic so you have two free hands instead of one. That sounds like another worthwhile investment, and the Aero Core ought to be able to handle that nicely. Just sort of... jam it onto the front cover and make it look like the actual front design, and it's done! This is a clear success!

Hands-Free Notebook (T3, Weapon)
"It's just floating by itself. Now you can write with both hands!"
(7-7) Slashing, 2-4 Range, 1 Retreat, 1 Counter, 5 Hit
Stat Changes: +1 INT, +1 RES, +1 SKI
WEAPON PASSIVE: Recycle+. Passively grants +1 Skillslot. Whenever you cast a spell, you may choose to replace a tile in Range 1 of you with a Blank, Mana Well, or a Cover tile with 12 HP and 5 DGE Bonus.

<OMODOP>
Omoquest updated to Round 16!

<OMOQUEST, ROUND SIXTEEN>
IKEA's not in a great spot with his allies dead. However, he's switched to a cleaving basic attack, so be careful with your positioning! He can hit adjacent tiles much like Abies and the Constructs can, so be cautious!

I invest 1 Skill Point in SPC. I also take 3 points from MOV and put 2 in STR and 1 in HP!

what if you have like 100 DGE and you're standing behind a lamppost
The lamppost takes the hit for you, and dies.
does the lamppost just become magnetic
Yes. Yes it does.
also, overkill damage to the thing won't harm the things hiding behind it
so being next to cover terrain can't ever really be worse then not standing next to one

Brutishace smiles to himself. He actually did something useful alongside Simeon! He honors his ally's work and hopes they can coordinate more in the future.

"Hey, Simeon, thanks for your help back there. I couldn't have beaten that on my own."

In the mean time, he puts +1 skill point into MP. 50 MP is a nice round number, but he should really focus more on improving the effect of his spellcraft.

Brutishace also offers an apology to Auth over something he said in the last battle.

"Sorry about that outburst on the bridge. I'm not above envy."
