To finish off its action, it moves down to E8 and hunkers down to let its self-repair systems fire up from that influx of usable energy.

Bombardment Bot 2 moves down to D10 and nukes the area centered on H14 with a high-damage cryogenic grenade. Sorry, Emerald. 1-2 damage isn't too bad, I hope?

She proceeds to upgrade her materials by using the most bullgorilla nuclear physics imaginable:

Ingredients:
• Scouter / Scanning Eye
• 4 Circuit Boards
• 5 Wire Scraps
• 6 Titanium Ingots
• 6 Iron Ingots
• 1 Central Processing Unit

She starts off by taking 6 Titanium Ingots and 6 Iron Ingots. Using advanced nuclear bombardment techniques, she forcibly combines the two sets of ingots into 6 Cadmium Ingots:



As the cadmium ingots are made of unstable isotopes, she RNG manipulates them so that they decay as quickly as possible to a stable form:



She then chops up the resulting Palladium Ingot with a holographic sword to create palladium granules, which she solders to 4 circuit boards, connected to a fresh CPU by 4 wire scraps, which is then connected by another wire scrap to the scouter's interior. Due to MineChem logic, the scouter now grants an additional point or two of STR, but is now useless if you want to use it to mine stuff.

The Artist decides to be useful and inventory many things, by shoving them into the bag, and he does this in order: The K.Oed Seeker, the empty Package, the Empty Chest, the Fruit Tree, as in, the entire Fruit Tree, the Sap Tree, again, the entire tree, a Barricade, a dead tree, a chair I just stole from the Stage, the ENTIRE The Bunker Area, the extra Colors Full, either the one in The Forest Crossroads or the one is Untamed Woods either one, as long as there is only one Colors Full on the map at the same time, and lastly, the Save Point. They then decide to shove a Goddess's Servant, an Eternal Flower, and Splintercast, and a single Titanium ingot into the Colorless Clock Hand, adding green, brown and grey to the blade, carving the image of an ashen tree with diamond shaped fruits to it, making it more natural to this Zone, having it now be named Chairian Clock Hand, replacing it's handle with wood, increasing it's attack to (8-8) if this results in a Level One Weapon, or (9-9) if this somehow ends up giving me a Level Two weapon.

Brutishace sits down and gets to work on a new weapon. He carefully scupts the Snakewood he obtained into a shape similar to the frame of his Comet Pistol, if bulkier and more warped due to the shape of the wood. Brutishace takes some of the green sap and carefully imbues it into the crystal from his Comet Pistol, causing it to turn a rich lime color. He discards the old frame of the Comet Pistol, and mounts the crystal into the new Snakewood frame.

The Serpentine Pistol is complete! It deals more damage than its predecessor, and it deals Earth damage instead of Ice damage now.

Before anyone can react, Verdana proceeds to place himself in the path between Teag's shot and the Seeker. EN, without actually bothering to speak, then places herself in the path between the shot and Verdana's body, taking the full force of the railgun blast center-mass. That shot probably actually damaged her quite badly, given the sheer values it can put out, although her armor's more than enough to save her from death. There's a pause...

"Let me handle this fella. I can't trust any of you to not try to execute them the moment my back is turned now..."


Meanwhile in battle...

Not too hard to imagine who Calibri's referring to. After some thought, he decides to take action. The people at the more south end of the cave should be able to handle themselves for now, so he quickly sprints up to L6, abuses the power of a range 1-2 weapon to lash out two tiles and slash through the Raider's remaining health (unless he somehow misses), then retreat down to J8 so the Naclestial can't quite reach melee range. Brew Potion could certainly be a problem for the purpose of letting him actually take action, but he doesn't mind too much, honestly, if it means he gets to not just flat-out die.

I take a gold ingot and form it into a round shape, and take two iron ingots and form them into a tough but wearable chain. I attach the chain to the round gold thing, making an amulet. I then take a Soulblossom, and infuse its essence into the gold. Delicate, softly glowing lines spring to life, curving around the amulet in intricate patterns. Item crafted!

I move to G10, and use Static Overcharge on the Inciter.

I then raise my voice, making the ground rumble.

Comet decides to prepare a pair of Weaponized Aeroskates, using 1 Iron, 3 Titanium, and 3 Wire Scraps, along with a pair of generic Aeroskates. Of course, she can't slip them on yet... but it pays to have them ready! The Iti don't even question how they were prepared during battle. Teag attempts to put down the Seeker in the Untamed Woods, and EN moves to intercept the shot! She ends up taking (22-11) damage that doesn't really matter, but the Seeker lives! Toast then steps forward, and challenges the Chairian Rider! He spins his lance, and points it at Toast.

RIDER: It's settled, then!
RIDER: In a few short moments, when you're on the ground, begging for mercy... we shall feed you to the Iti-

He's cut off by a smol Chairian that just left the house behind him. She has a staff, blank white robes with golden lacing and- yep, that's a white mage.

DEVOUT: A-Actually, orders from above state that we're to capture "outsiders" that we defeat in combat!
RIDER: Orders from ME state that we're feeding them to the Iti. We could lure those gorillas into a trap with some fresh meatbags. Prevent a few losses.

He grins at Destiny, who just entered the Zone. The Devout facepalms.

DEVOUT: I-I, erm, u-uh...
RIDER: No complaints? Good.
RIDER: Prepare for battle, men!

The two other Chairians in the area give an enthusiastic battle cry.

RIDER: ...
RIDER: Wait, where's the rest of the men?

The Rider heads over to the house, and bonks it with his lance

RIDER: GET OFF YOUR gorillaS WE ARE GOING TO BATTLE

A few Chairians spill out of the building, each of them taking up arms. One of them tosses the Rider a strange-looking weapon- it looks to be a hand-cannon of sorts. He shoots it out into the woods behind him. A few seconds later, there's an explosion. A spider limb flies a foot away from him. He gives the weapon a shake.

RIDER: The hell is this?
CHAIRIAN: Experimental weapon from Commander Cypress, sir. He wants it field-tested.
RIDER: Perfect timing! We have training dummies lining up right now.

With another rallying cry, the Chairians prepare for combat!

STRIFE!

Asuka decides to get further on the upgrade train, mixing her Scouter with 2 Circuit Boards, 4 Wire Scraps, 1 Titanium, 3 Iron, and 1 CPU to get a Palladium-Augmented Scouter! Is that how chem works? Probably not. It gains +1 STR, and HIT. JOE then decides to level up his gardening, planting some Soulblossom seeds at the cost of 1 Soulblossom. The Goneblossoms seem to refuse to take root, though. He supposes that they can't be planted. The Artist then decides to attempt to loot some things. He plops the Seeker into the bag, the empty Package (which decomposes into 7 Titanium and 10 Wire Scraps), the Empty Chest, the Fruit Tree-

...He decides not to take the tree. It's a bit too rooted into the ground, and also generally just a bad idea to take. He also decides to not loot anything else, as attempting to take an area would almost certainly anger something. Mirrored Clock then upgrades his clock hand, making it a T1 item. He doesn't actually consume anything in the progress, though... so reality eats 3 Iron and 1 Soulblossom. Brutishace then takes that Snakewood he somehow found, and combines it with 2 blobs of Green Sap and his Comet Pistol, creating the Serpentine Pistol! Bergilmir then crafts the Amulet of the Mender using a Soulblossom, 1 Iron Ingot, and 1 Gold Ingot. He doesn't equip it quite yet, though.

<FORTIFIED CAVERN, ROUND FOUR>
The time to engage the Naclestial is likely now! He has a lot of health and devastating damage, but he shouldn't be too hard to take down! Just make sure you have healers to mitigate the damage he deals... and make sure you have people dealing with the Bilespawn and others.

...Given the confirmation that the bag is indeed the girl's, Comet stuffs her belongings back into her bag. Hopefully she doesn't notice the length of rope that was taken...
<FOREST CHECKPOINT, ROUND ONE>
Beware the Spider Riders; they have large healthpools because they're basically two entities! You'll likely want to focus-fire the more important targets, like the riders and the Devouts. Otherwise, you might die slightly. And that's no good.

Toast quickly switches Heavenly Ray to Confuse Ray, as her complete lack of defence made the spell difficult to use. Also, she switches Fissure to Aerobeam, as it seems that this zone won't have much use for the earth element.

She moves to F14, Aerobeams to the northeast, then retreats to G15.
